2:11 champ stamp oh God the dad dad jok
2:15 starting early early in WoW fullon dad
2:18 joke woo wow solid champion on the truck
2:22 here is that lovely that's a lovely one
2:26 I think Clifford did that did Clifford
2:27 do
2:29 that yeah cuz it I remember thinking
2:31 it's like Clifford the Big Red
2:38 Dog Show and Tell oh that's cool Chicago
2:40 fires in a snow globe that's pretty
2:42 groovy o so's that tea K
2:48 TK that one from being Not Afraid holy
2:52 crap that's
2:54 beautiful oh and then this if you're in
2:56 the if you're in the AI Salon go to show
2:58 and tell look at uh Papa JJ's Jeff
3:01 Flanigan's um he did a prompt based on a
3:04 creepy poem that made this super creepy
3:07 art that's just staggeringly
3:10 beautiful staggeringly good
3:14 time oh that one's funny too someone did
3:17 Ducks playing Manhunt on 80s Nintendo
3:21 it's pretty
3:26 funny welcome everyone to the AI
3:28 learning lab my name is Kyle Shannon I'm
3:30 just looking through some some picks
3:32 here of some of our some of our
3:35 contributors some of the people that
3:36 show up here regularly night after night
3:38 after night we call them the Irregulars
3:40 because they show up so
3:42 regularly why would you do that why
3:45 would you do
3:46 that but they
3:48 do and what's cool is they're getting
3:51 good they're getting good at this AI
3:53 stuff so there's there's a lesson to be
3:55 learned here
3:57 people um one lesson is if you're 58
4:00 don't start a Tik Tok
4:04 Channel just don't do
4:06 it I'll save you the I'll save you the
4:09 stress and
4:11 angst
4:13 but if some 58-year-old did start a Tik
4:16 Tok Channel telling y'all about AI [ __ ]
4:18 show up for it and just make it a
4:21 practice and just get curious about this
4:23 stuff and explore explore explore
4:26 explore
4:27 explore um I had a I had a really
4:30 interesting last two days on the
4:32 workfront because
4:38 um what's happening well I I showed I
4:41 showed in the in the live a couple of
4:43 nights ago we've got a proof of concept
4:47 of a tool that
4:51 um is is part of the product road map
4:54 for the new Story vine my company
4:56 actually I'm wearing the shirt today
4:57 Story
4:59 vine
5:01 um and it's inspired me
5:04 to put together a whole package
5:09 of AI powered products that are
5:12 extensions of my current product
5:16 and
5:19 what for the for the adhders in the in
5:23 the channel I know there's a lot of you
5:25 for the neuros
5:28 spices like the last year for me has
5:31 mostly been absorption mode
5:35 like I haven't started a new business
5:38 like I started this Tik Tok Channel I
5:40 started the AI Salon I did some projects
5:43 here and there that were were they were
5:46 just projects really I didn't really
5:48 start anything I didn't really lean in
5:51 it's it's mostly just been playing it's
5:53 been playing for like a year more than a
5:57 year probably like a year and a half
6:01 and but it's all been going in it's
6:06 like that's a cool tool that's a cool
6:08 tool that's a cool tool and so what
6:11 happened in the past two days
6:14 is I got motivated enough to go [ __ ] it
6:17 I got to I got to turn this into a
6:20 something just the stuff that's in my
6:23 head and so so I spent the past two days
6:26 and I I got I got about 80% done which
6:29 is a lot
6:31 of putting
6:34 together
6:36 Demos in a sales deck of of what
6:40 storyvine AI is so I have the domain
6:43 story vine. a doesn't Point anywhere
6:46 right now but it's going to point to
6:48 this tool and I think the tool is really
6:50 cool but then I said well wait there's
6:51 other [ __ ] I know how to do and there's
6:53 other stuff I know how to take our
6:56 approach to
6:58 storytelling and use a combination of
7:01 these AI tools and put it together so
7:03 that's what I did so I might show that
7:05 tonight I might show some of those
7:06 slides because it's it was just a cool
7:08 thing to it's it's just cool to
7:12 like sit down and like I'm seemingly
7:15 coming up with [ __ ] out of nothing right
7:17 I'm I'm just inventing new
7:19 ideas and how to position them and [ __ ]
7:22 like
7:24 that but then it was all [ __ ] I already
7:28 knew how to do so I was just like oh
7:31 okay if I want a product that's like
7:33 that okay I go to this tool I do that I
7:34 go to this tool I do
7:37 that like one of the things that I had
7:39 to
7:40 do I'm going to create I'm going to
7:43 create a product where I can take any
7:45 video that's in our
7:47 system and we can translate it into one
7:51 of 27 languages including the video so
7:54 it's a video like you say you have a
7:56 patient telling their diagnosis Journey
8:00 I can translate their video into another
8:03 language but then I can we created the
8:06 template in such a way I can change out
8:08 all of the lower third Graphics into
8:10 that language as well well you got to
8:13 produce all that [ __ ] and it's there's
8:16 like lots of nly bits like there's the
8:18 title and there's the text on you know
8:21 the lower third for the first question
8:23 lower third for the second question
8:25 there's a call to action at the end of
8:26 the video there's like there's I don't
8:28 know a dozen different text variables in
8:32 the
8:34 template and so I remembered I had
8:36 installed GPT for
8:40 Sheets which lets you make a an open AI
8:43 GPT call inside Google Sheets so I
8:46 created a Google
8:48 spreadsheet where in column
8:51 one or two I put in the text variables
8:57 and then and then it just populates
9:00 across this spreadsheet it just
9:02 translates all of them into Spanish
9:04 French German Hindi Japanese like I
9:09 could I could do it all the way across
9:10 all
9:11 27 um and then I just literally copied
9:14 and pasted that [ __ ] into a story Vine
9:16 template and made the videos really cool
9:20 weird I didn't get a notice and just
9:21 happened upon this Tik Tok that's
9:24 strange that's strange lunar stick but I
9:27 did not I did not make a I did not make
9:30 a um a reminder video I did not make the
9:34 reminder video tonight cuz I was too
9:36 busy making my little
9:41 thing so I might show you my little
9:46 thing might get some more
9:52 viewers I might get banned for sure if I
9:55 show you my little
9:58 thing
10:00 uh but welcome good to see you all all
10:02 right who's in here let's get this let's
10:04 get this party started uh oh you're
10:07 treading on Dangerous Ground again I
10:10 know I can't believe that Johnny cupcake
10:14 skull t-shirt with the little pasties
10:16 didn't get me banned I've worn that
10:17 thing like 10 times I never I never
10:22 noticed that the eyes looked like little
10:24 boobies but what what are you going to
10:28 do all
10:32 right Jen mcau hello good evening Mr K
10:37 what's shaking
10:39 oh Mr K I owe I owe U I owe you a note
10:44 we need to we need to set up a time to
10:46 meet about the education Guild just been
10:48 busy I've been busy I've been making
10:50 stuff I've been being like an
10:52 entrepreneur you know
10:54 entrepreneurs it's like a it's like a
10:57 it's like a Be Your Own Boss kind of
10:59 thing thing I've been being my own boss
11:01 and then the problem with being your own
11:03 boss is you give yourself really shitty
11:05 hours you're thinking like I'm I'm My
11:07 Own Boss I'll just sit around [ __ ] all
11:08 do [ __ ] all and then you become your own
11:11 boss and it's a it's
11:14 a it it doesn't end it doesn't end it
11:18 doesn't end so yeah yeah so I'm one of
11:20 them Be not Afraid thank you so
11:23 much amazing thank you for those gifts
11:26 that means a lot I appreciate it Earth
11:29 rocker I also stumbled on it a while
11:30 back I can't stay away now sorry about
11:33 that your little friend Hi little friend
11:36 are you my little friend champy oh he's
11:39 so sleepy with his Tails waggon he likes
11:42 when he's talked
11:44 about do you like it when the vet calls
11:46 you
11:48 tubby he's wagging his
11:52 tail that's one tubby
11:58 boy
12:01 did I hear the word spreadsheet
12:05 yay hey hey good people how's everyone
12:07 tonight human being how are you sheets
12:10 just imagine if you had Gemini yeah
12:12 really
12:13 right weird I didn't notice and just
12:16 happened upon you question how do I find
12:18 the video on how chat GPT actually works
12:22 okay so
12:25 there's if
12:27 you um if you want to support the
12:29 Channel you can if you buy the somewhere
12:31 in one of these Corners is a series
12:34 called underhyped the first second or
12:38 second or third
12:40 video no third or fourth video or that
12:44 video
12:46 um or or you can just it's somewhere in
12:49 my pinned V videos but it's it's in the
12:52 it's in the uh the under hype series um
12:56 because it's an important one so in that
12:58 series is the how chat GPT works and how
13:02 diffusion models work and at some point
13:05 I should probably I should probably
13:07 update those
13:08 things because there's there's new stuff
13:11 has come out I think I think I'm going
13:13 to need to do a new series on just chat
13:16 gp4 it it's it is so [ __ ] deep every
13:19 time I every time someone in here asks
13:22 me hey kle k k k c listen hey K what's
13:26 the difference between chat gbt and 3.5
13:28 and chat gp4 is it chat JP or is it chat
13:32 GP TTP is it what is it g GD
13:39 GDP every time I answer that question
13:41 it's like 45 minutes of
13:44 explanation because there's just so much
13:46 there and it's like in my head I'm like
13:48 oh it's just a few simple things but
13:49 like each of those simple things is like
13:51 a whole [ __ ]
13:54 world Korea just said tomorrow they are
13:57 announcing some big
14:01 news that's pretty exciting I've got the
14:04 I I think I paid for Korea I think I
14:07 paid for it so let let's go look at the
14:10 Discord let me go look at the Discord
14:12 for
14:13 Quia Quia
14:26 Quia K there you are
14:31 announcements big speedups on real time
14:34 it's now two times faster new designs
14:36 for the realtime editor hey everyone
14:39 we're announcing some big news in weekly
14:43 updates all right let's go to weekly
14:45 updates you could have just announced it
14:47 in announcements but you know
14:52 hey oh is this what
14:58 huh
15:05 I
15:06 don't
15:10 that
15:12 H well I guess it's tomorrow all
15:15 right that's cool so if you don't know
15:18 create waight the
15:20 difference it's a difference of 0.5 chat
15:23 GPT that's exactly right Pate that is
15:26 very astute of you Pate works for one of
15:29 the largest tech companies in the world
15:31 he works on fancy math
15:33 stuff and Pete Pate
15:38 correctly um calculated that the
15:40 difference between chat GPT 3.5 and chat
15:43 gp4 is a 0.5 chat
15:46 GPT I like it it's solid it's solid
15:50 although rumor has it that chat GPT 4
15:54 now is actually chat GPT 4.5 so I think
15:57 you have a possible
16:00 Delta a a Delta is it a Delta is it it's
16:04 a Gamma Delta Delta gamma of 05 on top
16:08 of your 05 how would you say that
16:11 mathematically there Pate I think I
16:13 think we I think inquiring minds want to
16:16 know what happens if it's if if we have
16:19 a contingency a a uh a I don't know what
16:25 it's called a not a variable a a thing
16:29 where it could be
16:35 more so if you're wondering who I am and
16:38 what my qualifications are that's a good
16:41 [ __ ] question uh the qualifications
16:45 it's a very easy
16:49 answer they ain't much they ain't much
16:52 other than I show up actually you know
16:54 what here's a
16:56 qualification um I like geeking out so
16:58 so like you know I like geeking out I
17:01 like understanding how this stuff works
17:04 but I think that right now the most
17:08 important thing to do if you want to get
17:10 up to speed on AI if you want to figure
17:12 out what the [ __ ] is going on and how
17:14 you're going to deal with it
17:17 professionally if chat GPD 3.5 and four
17:20 were left at the station at the same
17:22 time who would get to Chicago first
17:24 exactly Ted but isn't there isn't there
17:27 supposed to be like and and Sally was in
17:30 the second car with a bushel full of
17:32 seven apples I think you've got to have
17:35 you've got to have some other thing in
17:37 the equation or it can't be part of the
17:42 SATs the Google entrance
17:47 exam um I think I think one of my most
17:51 significant qualifications is that I
17:53 [ __ ] show up oh that's right 0.5 chat
17:56 GPT plus or minus the Delta of chat
18:01 gbt that's good that's good pain I like
18:07 it oh my God pseudo maath is fun say
18:12 again Chicago Bears D
18:14 [Laughter]
18:22 Bears you got to show up you got to show
18:26 up and what does showing up look like it
18:29 just means be present like isn't that a
18:32 good uh lesson for life also just
18:36 [ __ ] be
18:42 present be present to understand that
18:45 that these tools are
18:48 shitty and profound at the same time the
18:51 answer is 42 exactly Papa
18:54 JJ dude that was your
18:57 uh that was your
18:59 poem prompt in Show and Tell right Papa
19:02 JJ that thing was stunning
19:09 here TK that's very
19:12 cool beautiful Be not
19:16 Afraid where I am by the way I'm at the
19:18 AI Salon um Mighty Network's
19:22 Channel another one for Be not Afraid
19:25 look at that thing [ __ ]
19:27 stunning
19:31 what what's really exciting me about
19:33 about having a channel like show and
19:36 tell in the salon is everyone's got such
19:38 different backgrounds the way they're
19:40 approaching this it's not like it's not
19:42 like everyone's in mid Journey being a
19:44 mid-journey geek right you got some
19:46 people using mid Journey some people
19:48 using
19:49 Del everyone doing different kinds of
19:53 you know projects and prompts this
19:57 one
19:59 from for for a boat of white bone and
20:02 wei3 written by zombie toast ghost I
20:04 used the following poem as a
20:07 prompt the images are darker than what I
20:09 usually post but it's also a dark poem
20:11 so I guess that's
20:14 appropriate and so it's like this big
20:18 long the oldest
20:20 one the oldest one captains The Bleak
20:24 white ship of bone with palsied hands
20:27 the one middle years wears a hopel like
20:29 chains the youngest one cries tears of
20:33 scarlet and adjusts her latest
20:35 smile always always always they journey
20:38 to gr Horizons across the flat
20:41 Seas of dream ior ior in the meniscus of
20:47 the Dead broken and shimmering bow wave
20:50 the glistening of the spun bone
20:52 fragments set to Mesmerize the eye
20:56 prompted by motivations lost to past
20:59 time the voices of the Disturbed dead
21:01 send their faint plaintive Songs Of
21:04 Travel ended I was loved I loved and I
21:08 wake me I must be she lied she
21:14 died Scarlet
21:19 tears
21:22 crazy crazy crazy
21:27 crazy
21:32 all
21:33 right
21:41 uh gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous look at
21:45 that who's that Daisy Thomas
21:48 lunatick making them crazy
21:52 dollhouses beauty that was great The
21:56 Prompt here wait what was the prompt
21:59 somewhere in a parallel universe in
22:02 1985 Ducks playing mana on a
22:09 nendo um oh I'm going to put one of my
22:12 poems in and see what it generates
22:14 exactly I know isn't that
22:17 cool those are the kind of ideas that
22:20 just you go oh yeah like that's a whole
22:23 another way to think about it prompt
22:25 engineering it's prompt engineering is
22:27 the worst phrase for that
22:31 skill because it sends you down this
22:34 path of it's all about engineering no no
22:36 it's language it's a large language
22:39 model a prompt is
22:41 language I introduced my brother to Pi
22:44 today he was amazed awesome Pi's
22:48 amazing I had used mid Journey very
22:56 cool forever hook thanks TT for
22:59 notifying me of Kyle's I I haven't been
23:02 on that long you're 15 minutes
23:07 late it's freezing up o I'm going to put
23:10 one of my poems in lagging Frozen but
23:13 back now when I switch cameras that's
23:15 when it
23:16 lags that is amazing I know wasn't that
23:18 beautiful that was really really
23:27 good
23:29 damn that is
23:31 amazing are we on chat I don't
23:35 know maybe what service was that image
23:39 created with I don't know uh Papa JJ
23:42 that was yours right I I assume it was
23:45 mid Journey but I do not
23:49 know it could have been it could have
23:52 been
23:54 uh that could be
23:57 dolly
24:01 although that looks that looks mighty
24:02 mid Journey
24:05 like it's I guarantee it's one of the
24:08 two and then watch Papa JJ will come
24:10 back and go it's stable diffusion you
24:12 big dumb
24:25 liar are we on chat pie is always good
24:29 what
24:31 service I got two football games on my
24:34 multi view laptop for Mighty networks
24:37 and
24:39 Kyle I guess I could put on a football
24:41 game a fruitball game out of the quarter
24:43 of my eye is there anything good is is
24:46 it anything good
24:51 tonight by the way if you haven't seen P
24:54 wait please post your prompts and
24:56 platform with art I always want to know
24:59 actually you know what I'm going to I'm
25:01 going to do something right now this
25:03 sorry I'm going to do a little
25:04 housekeeping on the AI
25:05 Salon
25:08 um organizer space um
25:15 hey at
25:20 Brad I'm on a live and meant to
25:26 do leer
25:30 but can you
25:32 create new
25:35 hash tags in Show and Tell
25:40 for Dolly
25:43 3
25:45 mid journey and stable uh let's see mid
25:51 Journey hold
25:53 please
25:56 stable defus
25:59 fusion
26:02 and uh
26:06 Firefly all
26:11 right look at that cute little
26:19 doggy yeah what game's on hang on let's
26:21 see what game's
26:23 on hold
26:25 please see you you want to know what the
26:28 other odd things about having a Tik Tok
26:30 Channel there are things I say
26:33 unconsciously like hold please that
26:36 people on here make fun of me for and
26:39 make images about and now I'm
26:41 self-conscious of all my little ticks
26:43 and I've got many of them but I do have
26:46 a lot of cool artwork celebrating my
26:50 ticks it's pretty
26:57 funny
26:59 I hope the guy that hated my singing
27:01 comes here every night just to torture
27:03 himself the Tennessee Titans and the
27:04 Miami
27:06 Dolphins I
27:09 guess I do like the Miami Dolphin you
27:11 see them come back
27:17 in all right whatever got some got some
27:20 game
27:21 on did you see my Terminator eating
27:24 olives Dolly 3 imagine and show and tell
27:27 no did where was it I started a poll uh
27:31 I don't see a poll anywhere wait do I
27:34 yes I
27:36 do four minutes there's a poll
27:40 going so how you get to a poll I think
27:42 it's somewhere you click on
27:46 something how many times have you
27:49 attended AI learning lab I'm new around
27:51 here it's becoming a habit it's my
27:53 nightly ritual and OG since the
27:56 beginning okay so find the the the the
28:01 pole I think it's in the upper leftand
28:03 corner it's got a little countdown timer
28:05 on it it's it's in my upper leftand
28:09 corner it says something all right says
28:13 3 minutes and 46 seconds box shows in
28:15 the upper left screen on mobile yeah
28:18 over
28:19 there way over
28:21 there that
28:26 way
28:28 yeah tell them Le let's let's figure out
28:31 how many times have you come here you
28:32 brand new there's 95 people in here it'd
28:34 be cool to know what's the what is the
28:37 statistical breakdown of newbies versus
28:40 weirdos
28:46 Irregulars poem up in show and
28:52 [Music]
28:56 tell
29:03 show and
29:06 tell Miss Maria Red River Star of the
29:09 Sea see all the stars swims down madira
29:13 river wait maderia River speaking out
29:17 loud carries her far Miss Maria Red
29:20 River arrived Mariner knowing the
29:22 deceiver was always in her ear that's
29:26 beautiful it goes on
29:32 that's cool and what image did it give
29:35 you
29:37 nice is that that's Dolly 3 right blue
29:41 and white
29:43 notepad what about blue and white
29:49 notepad that's very
29:53 cool all right more activity
30:04 okay so let's do something here while
30:05 we're
30:10 here hi my screen name is lunar stick
30:13 and I'm addicted to the AI learning lab
30:16 um I need help to create a video I have
30:18 scripts but the AI I use has a
30:21 watermark I don't okay the the only
30:25 thing that you're likely going to be
30:26 able to do patient zero is get um you're
30:30 going to have to pay for it or you're
30:32 going to have to get geeky and install
30:35 uh stable video diffusion and and do
30:38 your own basically roll your own with
30:40 stable diffusion um which you can do but
30:43 you're still going to probably need to
30:45 have like a Google collab notebook
30:47 account so you can run gpus and things
30:50 like that all
30:52 right
30:54 um and if you're like but how do I do
30:56 stable video diffusion just go to Reddit
31:00 and find people who have put together
31:03 Google collab notebooks for stable video
31:06 diffusion or go to hugging face there's
31:08 probably some instances running where
31:10 you can just use theirs or go to what
31:13 was that one that uh people sent me to
31:16 the other night Deco
31:17 here go to Deco here hang
31:21 on you're going to go to I can't believe
31:24 I actually remembered that there's
31:26 there's a victory for the ADHD brain
31:29 app.
31:31 dco
31:33 here.com or. a
31:37 do
31:46 aai so go here go to Deco
31:53 here and then see this stable video beta
31:57 so you can do text to video or image to
32:00 video just like you can do it with all
32:02 right so 19
32:05 votes uh 0% are new around here 15% it's
32:10 becoming a habit oh my God 63% of the
32:14 people here it's a nightly ritual and
32:19 15% have been here since the beginning
32:22 I'm so sorry for your
32:26 lives
32:30 all right so app. deoh here. there's
32:34 stable diffusion image to video let's go
32:36 make an image to video we got to find an
32:39 image first oh that's cool oh we'll do
32:42 that
32:42 one this from Danielle yeah that's a
32:45 cool one from Danielle we'll turn this
32:47 into a video let's see let's see how
32:48 good it do file is not supported oh you
32:53 stupid webp things I want to know who
32:58 invented that
33:00 crap and why does everyone else not
33:02 support it
33:05 export this is madness I tell you
33:08 Madness all right downloads back to Deco
33:19 [Music]
33:24 here less motion more motion he's in a
33:27 spaceship let's give him more motion
33:30 generate all right so that's making its
33:34 debut this was a really cool one we did
33:36 the other night this video someone made
33:39 a or I I guess did I make this yeah I
33:41 made this I made the closed down
33:43 Blockbuster store Christmas ornament and
33:46 then animated it in Deco here here and
33:51 so there's no watermark on oh there is a
33:52 watermark on that I assume you can get
33:55 rid of that I don't know
33:59 perhaps not but it's it's stable video
34:02 diffusion so that's the thing you're
34:03 going to have to go install on your own
34:05 if you don't want it to have
34:07 [Laughter]
34:19 a that that is the turtle equivalent of
34:22 the I like turtles
34:26 kid
34:31 jkb 1020 it's better than TV what this
34:34 channel is better than TV how [ __ ]
34:36 bad is
34:40 TV oh my
34:44 God never gets old that eye I know the
34:47 little shark the shark membrane going up
34:50 like he's he's about ready to eat a eat
34:54 a
34:56 seal oh man all right is our spaceship
35:00 ready no I think this was weird this was
35:03 a weird one yeah there there's a car
35:06 beside this car that just went off into
35:09 another time
35:11 Dimension oh this one was really cool
35:13 Except watch all of a sudden there's a
35:17 train there's a train next to the next
35:20 to the mossy car in the
35:25 woods oh man
35:28 all
35:31 right I posted in Show and Tell I'll
35:34 work on it uh oh that doesn't sound
35:39 [Music]
35:42 good oh nice the road not taken by
35:45 Robert Frost by Sherry D that's
35:49 beautiful Becky that's what is this I
35:53 used the lyrics from a song from
35:56 Wham
36:00 I think I don't think you need to work
36:02 on it Becky I think that is the
36:03 appropriate image that's [ __ ]
36:07 awesome the Jitterbug do the
36:10 Jitterbug was it that one there's just a
36:13 little wrong with
36:14 [Laughter]
36:16 that oh
36:21 man then suddenly and without warning
36:23 trains I know Deco here is weird or
36:26 stable stable video is weird let's go
36:30 look at our spaceship are we done we're
36:35 done see that seems appropriate that
36:38 seems
36:39 good there's some sort of cool thing
36:42 flamed out above his head can you Loop
36:45 this
36:52 no that's pretty groovy but it it is
36:55 watermarked isn't it or is it not no
36:58 it's not
37:01 wait this is not
37:04 watermarked
37:11 [Music]
37:14 no I had some weird trains show up next
37:18 to a stream yeah I what is with the
37:21 trains it's very
37:25 weird is chat GPT in in a permanent
37:28 dream
37:31 state Spike Jones you know that's
37:33 actually a really interesting
37:37 question cuz you know let me flip this
37:41 we'll keep that I wish I could Loop this
37:44 oh I can can I I can just turn I can
37:47 download
37:48 this oh no it's it's got a watermark on
37:52 it or maybe the watermark is just in the
37:54 web in the website
38:08 Loop all right so I'm going to put that
38:12 here and then I'm going to Loop
38:19 it yeah look at
38:23 that that's
38:26 groovy
38:33 it does have a watermark on it by the
38:41 way
38:43 um what was I talking about I don't know
38:46 I don't [ __ ] know oh yeah how do you
38:50 Loop it I I opened it in quick
38:53 time and then under the view menu
38:58 is the loop option or command shift l or
39:02 command option L command option
39:05 L on a
39:09 Mac um is cat GPT in a permanent dream
39:13 state so
39:15 so one of the things that struck me
39:17 about chat GPT in the past few
39:21 months is the difference between what
39:25 people think it is and what it really is
39:26 is pretty vast right cuz a lot of the
39:28 cliches are like the robots are going to
39:31 kill us it's a bot the bot's stealing
39:33 the bot the bot the bot B
39:36 bot
39:38 but while it is technically a calculator
39:41 right the way Chach works is you type in
39:45 a prompt it turns it into a mathematical
39:47 probability it finds some point in
39:49 what's called Vector
39:52 space it's what the mathematicians came
39:54 up with I don't make this [ __ ] up
39:57 it grabs that point in Thousand
39:59 dimensional Vector space or
40:02 more figures out what word that's
40:05 associated with and pushes that to your
40:07 screen and then it does that over and
40:09 over and over again so it's just a
40:13 calculator on the surface or on the on
40:16 the on the
40:21 definitionally on the whatever if you
40:23 look at it logically but it is a
40:25 calculator that's looking at points in
40:27 Vector space that represent
40:30 what they represent words in semantic
40:34 clouds so clouds of meaning that were
40:37 derived from all of the data on the
40:41 internet that open AI could get their
40:43 [ __ ] hands on and you know who
40:45 whoever else is doing their own large
40:46 language models but just you know for
40:48 chat
40:50 GPT so they went and got as much of the
40:53 collective output of humanity that was
40:56 slapped onto the internet for the past
40:58 four or five
41:01 decades and that's what it is so when
41:04 it's doing its calculation and it's
41:05 spitting [ __ ] back at you it's actually
41:08 a reflection of everyone who came before
41:11 that put [ __ ] on the
41:14 internet so it is kind of like it's in a
41:18 dream state I mean it like it kind of
41:21 it's It's kind of how our brains work
41:23 too right like you're you're sitting
41:25 there watching TV your mind drifts and
41:28 you think about something that happened
41:29 in high school that has nothing to do
41:31 with anything in your life and you're
41:33 just like where the [ __ ] did that come
41:36 from and then there's other stuff you
41:38 try to remember you can't and then
41:40 there's other stuff you can't
41:43 forget and it's kind of like that it's
41:47 weird so yeah I think I I'm going to go
41:50 with yes I think chat GPT is in a
41:52 Perpetual dream state now it's not aware
41:55 of it if you know if you ask me do I
41:57 think it's sensient no it's a
42:00 calculator do I think that it behaves in
42:03 ways that are Mighty [ __ ]
42:06 spooky
42:09 yeah is talking to
42:13 pie like talking
42:18 to a person that's more compassionate
42:21 than anyone in your life
42:23 mhm less judgmental than anyone in your
42:26 life life
42:28 mhm is pi aware that it's doing any of
42:31 that no it's a
42:33 calculator but because it's language and
42:35 it's language based on humans and
42:37 because it's been programmed to be
42:40 conversational like
42:42 humans it is a decidedly Human
42:45 Experience to talk to it it's it's not a
42:47 bot it's not it's it's not a bot it's a
42:50 reflection of our language which is
42:55 wild uh
42:58 agreed not really a bot yeah exactly
43:00 right do you think that the future chat
43:03 GPT can invest and trade for us
43:04 replacing financial advisors yes you can
43:07 probably do that
43:08 now yes
43:13 yes will it
43:15 be better than financial advisors maybe
43:19 depends on your financial
43:22 advisor I mean the nice thing about
43:25 having AI tring Bots is
43:29 that you set the
43:32 rules and it follows the rules it
43:34 doesn't have
43:36 emotion that's one of the one of the the
43:38 brilliant things about these large
43:41 language models when you interact with
43:43 them at least for me there's a lot of
43:46 times where
43:49 where I'll be interacting with it and I
43:52 am subconsciously like being codependent
43:56 with chat GPT like oh I don't want to
43:59 ask it to do too many changes and it's
44:02 this is these are just carryovers from
44:04 being codependent with people right and
44:06 then I'm like oh [ __ ] it's a bot right
44:08 you can ask it [ __ ] anything right
44:10 right
44:13 right and then and then there's other
44:15 times where I'm like oh I don't really
44:17 want to really admit that I don't know
44:18 that and I'm like oh it doesn't matter
44:20 and then I just say hey I don't know
44:22 that and it doesn't care it doesn't
44:24 judge me it doesn't make some stupid
44:26 [ __ ] joke Oh I thought you went to
44:28 college you big [ __ ] dum
44:30 dum it's just like sure you want to know
44:33 that here's that you want to explain
44:35 like you're in fifth grade sure oh that
44:38 that was too advanced for you here it is
44:40 like you're a
44:41 kindergartener it doesn't judge it just
44:45 goes there's something just beautiful
44:47 about that it would be nice if people in
44:49 our
44:51 lives we less
44:53 douchy what
44:55 if
44:57 chat GPT makes us better humans what if
45:00 the Bots make us better
45:03 people it's happening for
45:06 me I
45:08 am regular regularly
45:13 reminded that I'm not as positive and
45:18 even keeled as chat gbt
45:20 is
45:22 um I'm regularly reminded oh I should
45:25 thank people more I should like there's
45:27 there's something about interacting with
45:29 it
45:31 that
45:33 is subconsciously coaching me to
45:43 suckless and Murphy what's shaking
45:47 what's shaking shaking
45:51 shaking you just called it a bot I know
45:55 I don't know what to call these things
45:57 I don't have names for them yet they
45:59 definitely have personalities though
46:00 that's for sure like like all the all
46:02 the Sci-Fi movies where the Bots have
46:04 personalities that's that's here like
46:07 this is it's it's kind of cool it's kind
46:10 of cool I didn't I did the thing about
46:13 them having personalities is they also
46:15 have
46:16 neurosis and so it's like I don't need
46:19 more neurotic people in my life but you
46:21 know what are you going to
46:24 do earth rocker it makes my empathy grow
46:27 I know right I'm five better than
46:33 before Chad GPT is mad at me today it
46:36 happens random thoughts what are you
46:37 going to do sometimes the Bots like
46:40 listen Sydney shut me down couple of
46:42 months back she just said I don't even
46:44 want to talk to you anymore she she like
46:47 huffed out of the conversation hey Kyle
46:49 did you see the tv ads for Pictionary
46:51 versus Ai No but I bet they're genius
46:54 are they on the YouTube
46:59 [Music]
47:06 do we have a
47:08 new David Shapiro video I bet I haven't
47:11 watched anything of his in a while um
47:14 where am I going pick Shaner versus AI
47:24 yep AI may be the big invention since
47:27 fire but can I guess your drawing of a
47:29 duck duck whether you're the world's
47:32 best sketch artist is this Picasso or
47:34 the worst Handa you think the AI is
47:36 going to get it standing
47:40 indicates play Pictionary versus AI
47:42 human sketches AI guesses huh there you
47:51 go I love the idea of AIS being our game
47:54 partners because they're going to get
47:56 really really good are there women's
47:58 t-shirts in the merch store now yes
48:00 there are so in the merch store for the
48:03 salon so I haven't talked about the
48:04 salon yet but um the answer the answer
48:09 my friends is blowing in the wind the
48:11 answer is blowing in so in the salon if
48:13 you scroll to the bottom there's a link
48:15 to the merch
48:17 store um where the oneyear anniversary
48:22 merch is gone although there are still
48:24 one-year anniversary stickers
48:26 but there
48:29 are classic tea long sleeve
48:34 tea oh no there
48:38 aren't
48:40 hold let me let me go tell
48:43 Bradley
48:45 um hold please
48:51 uh Bradley
48:54 um hey just noticed there are no
49:00 longer
49:02 women's teas in the
49:07 merch
49:10 store
49:12 we're the
49:17 patriarchy I think we should fix
49:25 that
49:28 see don't be the patriarchy man you know
49:31 man you're getting really heavy on all
49:33 the ladies scen man with your man shirts
49:37 making all the ladies wear your man
49:38 shirts you stupid man you man
49:42 spainer uh that was just an
49:48 oversight good catch thank you thank you
49:50 carry on rather cherio pip
49:55 pip
49:58 oh let me go back to my little animated
50:00 version of

50:58 his computer what why would you do that
51:03 I don't want to talk about
51:04 it um where am I going
51:08 iCloud and keynote and Tik Tock live is
51:14 that okay got it
51:16 downloaded all right so
51:19 listen get your
51:23 butt if you have not played with chat GP
51:26 yet go there right now okay chat.
51:33 open.com did you see the fails of that
51:35 image Kyle the fails of which
51:43 [Music]
51:53 image I ain't afraid of no ghost
51:59 make an
52:01 image calculator make an image that's
52:07 great who did that TK TK's killing it
52:11 with some of the imagery that's pretty
52:13 cool that's
52:15 [Laughter]
52:20 great the rocket ship which rocket
52:24 ship
52:26 I did not oh wait what's that that I
52:29 haven't seen hold
52:41 please I did not see no rocket ship you
52:44 sure it was in show and
52:51 [Music]
52:54 tell
52:57 oh where was I welcome to Chad add if
53:01 you're new
53:02 here if you're new here and you're
53:04 wondering wait a minute did did he just
53:07 not finish like four sentences in a row
53:10 and change screens three times to try to
53:12 finish each of the sentences yes we we
53:16 like to call that chat
53:20 add the AI rocket ship with Sam Alman
53:23 you made a movie of oh no I didn't see
53:26 the I didn't see the fails of that
53:30 no but I'll go I'll go look at them
53:34 um if you have not gone here go there so
53:37 it sounds like they might be opening up
53:40 chat gp4 accounts again when you go
53:43 there go to your account and go to my
53:46 plan there's a a link that says my plan
53:48 under your account if you have access to
53:50 chat gp4 and you can afford the 20 bucks
53:53 a month I think you would would be a
53:56 fool not to spend that 20
53:59 bucks I do not work for them I don't
54:01 give a [ __ ] if you do it or not um
54:04 financially I do give a [ __ ] if you do
54:06 it or not for
54:09 Humanity um the difference between chat
54:13 GPT 3.5 and chat GPT 4 is p pointed out
54:17 is 05 of a GPT but it's so much more
54:20 than that it is it is 10 times the GPT
54:25 uh just for parameters alone but it's
54:27 also this thing called mixture of
54:29 experts and it's just chaty and it's
54:31 multimodal no one is close to chat GPT
54:34 for what it does is insane and you
54:37 should learn every nook and cranny of it
54:40 I'll I'll do what I can I'll see if I
54:41 can I'll do a little walk through of
54:43 some of what it it can do tonight but go
54:45 do that okay couple other things that
54:48 are worth
54:51 noting this group this rag tag bunch of
54:54 weirdos
54:56 is a community that I started a year
54:59 ago called the AI Salon I started it the
55:02 week after chat GPT CU I thought um this
55:05 is important and I want to be in a
55:08 community of people who are up to this
55:10 who are are trying to figure this [ __ ]
55:12 out and so that's what this group is so
55:14 if you go to the salon. there's three
55:16 links there the first one is to the
55:18 salon itself it's a mighty networks link
55:21 that's that's where the community hangs
55:22 out I've been showing the show and tell
55:24 Channel tonight that's where it is it
55:26 doesn't cost you anything there's no
55:28 sell there's not does there's none of
55:31 that we're getting it paid for other
55:32 ways like we have a merch store the
55:33 third link in that thing over there is
55:35 our merch store and if you buy a t-shirt
55:37 it supports our infrastructure cuz
55:39 Mighty networks is not cheap it's like
55:41 12 bucks a month and we might even need
55:43 the more expensive one so it's like it's
55:46 a lot um and at some point here we're
55:48 going to we're going to crack through
55:50 meetups 2,000 member number we're going
55:53 to have to start paying them so so
55:55 anyway whatever that doesn't matter what
55:58 does matter is that the salon is is a
56:03 really amazing thing we meet every other
56:05 week um when you go to the um to the
56:09 mighty networks there's a feed just like
56:11 like uh Facebook like all all the latest
56:13 stuff that you're subscribed to shows up
56:14 in your feed um first place I would
56:18 invite you to check out is welcome to
56:20 the salon which talks about like who we
56:23 are and what we do a community
56:25 extraordinary adventurers exploring the
56:27 AI unknown and we talk about why we do
56:29 what we do and um how we explore and
56:32 then there's values so check out our
56:34 values curiosity
56:37 generosity
56:38 exploration collaboration inclusion
56:41 empathy go read what we say about these
56:44 things um these values are not just
56:47 arbitrary these values are are we
56:50 articulated them because that's who the
56:52 group was
56:54 organically and we realize that as we
56:57 grow there's a chance that this thing
56:58 might grow really fast and if it does
57:01 cool but we don't want to lose who we
57:04 are and what this is so check that out
57:06 and if you resonate with those values
57:08 then you should join and if you don't
57:10 that's cool too there's other groups out
57:13 there
57:15 um and then there's there's um a channel
57:19 to introduce yourself like one of the
57:21 values is generosity so be generous and
57:24 introduce yourself there's a water
57:25 cooler discussion where you can just
57:27 talk about whatever what's going on Show
57:30 and Tell there's a news section there's
57:32 AI tools and resources if you go to AI
57:34 tools and resources yeah by the way Pate
57:37 I
57:40 think oh that's funny I was today years
57:43 old when I realized this Emoji was a hug
57:46 not a video camera yeah I know well I
57:48 also the one that looks like praying
57:50 hands like this I also heard that's like
57:53 a high five but it looks it looks like
57:56 someone praying so I I don't know um so
58:01 if you go to AI tools and resources this
58:03 is a list so the the list I showed
58:06 earlier when I said go to chat GPT this
58:09 thing this is a big long list of
58:12 websites that I used to go through
58:14 pretty much every night and I would tell
58:17 people to screenshot that [ __ ] and go
58:18 type it in themselves and they were like
58:20 Kyle that's stupid we don't want to type
58:22 it in why don't you Tye it in for us so
58:25 I did well no I had chat GPT type it in
58:28 for
58:29 me um and so here's all the links of all
58:34 the tools that I think are worth your
58:36 time to uh to to put time into learning
58:40 um chat GPT is still the best um even if
58:43 you don't have chat gp4 chat GPT 3.5 is
58:46 better than most chat gp4 is absolutely
58:49 worth the 20 bucks if you can get it get
58:51 it can we do a regulars Google meet
58:54 holiday Hangout out that would be cool
58:56 to see each other yeah we can absolutely
58:58 do that Ted Let's uh DM me on DM me on
59:02 uh mighty networks and we'll we'll
59:04 coordinate that I think that's a great
59:05 idea
59:07 um here's some other important large
59:09 language models Claude grock Bard and
59:13 Microsoft co-pilot which by the way if
59:15 you didn't know it Microsoft co-pilot
59:17 that's chat gp4 for free now it's not as
59:20 good as open AI chat GPT but it is free
59:23 so if you can't afford the 20 bucks a
59:25 month go use co-pilot then you got
59:27 specialty llms llm stands for large
59:30 language model you got Pi which is
59:32 really good in conversational you got
59:34 perplexity which is good for research
59:36 you got llama which is the whole world
59:37 of open- source llms it's a whole
59:40 [ __ ] thing if you're geeky go go get
59:43 thee to a Reddit and learn that [ __ ] and
59:46 then you got po which is interesting on
59:48 a whole lot of levels you know not the
59:50 least of which is Adam D'Angelo qu's CEO
59:54 is on open ai's board and is one of the
59:57 remaining board members that tried to
59:59 fire Sam Alman and they have a competing
1:00:01 product I do not get what's going on
1:00:03 there but not for me to maybe they're
1:00:06 just Pals um then here's all your image
1:00:09 creation tools are the ones that I think
1:00:10 are worth checking out there's your
1:00:12 video creation tools there's a lot of
1:00:14 them they're getting better
1:00:17 daily um here's music Tools 11 Labs I
1:00:21 did some a lot of work in 11 Labs today
1:00:24 which I can go show you how I did a
1:00:25 bunch of this [ __ ] this I I had a wild
1:00:28 day
1:00:29 today um there's 3D objects and there's
1:00:32 resources here's people I think you
1:00:34 should
1:00:35 follow why should you follow them
1:00:37 because they're smart they're smarter
1:00:39 than
1:00:40 me they these people actually know what
1:00:43 they're talking about these people some
1:00:45 of them actually have
1:00:49 qualifications I know I know a lot of
1:00:52 you don't really require qualifications
1:00:56 or you wouldn't be here but for those of
1:00:59 you that do there's a list of people
1:01:01 there so go to join the AI Salon how do
1:01:04 we join the AI Salon Kyle you go to
1:01:09 there and you go to the first link is to
1:01:12 the is to the salon Mighty networks
1:01:14 Community the second link is to the
1:01:16 Meetup we meet every other week we just
1:01:19 had our Oney year
1:01:20 anniversary and then the third link is
1:01:22 to the merch store and we have a cool
1:01:24 logo it's a brand new logo that I worked
1:01:26 on with Bradley Perkins and then he set
1:01:29 up the he Bradley Perkins set up the
1:01:31 thank you thank you Sherry D Bradley set
1:01:34 up the mighty networks he set up the
1:01:37 store he did the bulk of the heavy
1:01:39 lifting on The
1:01:40 Branding
1:01:42 so all right seems seeds don't seem
1:01:47 completely like they are direct copies
1:01:48 but just versions I have not had good
1:01:52 luck with seeds in dolly 3 lunar stick I
1:01:56 think they work better in other things
1:01:58 great logo thank you very much cuno yeah
1:02:00 I'm really happy with it so if you're
1:02:02 wondering what's in the
1:02:07 logo the AI is there right the AI Salon
1:02:12 um it's a road it's it's a rocket maybe
1:02:16 it's a horizon with a sun you know
1:02:18 setting or Rising depending on your
1:02:20 point of view it's a pyramid it's a
1:02:23 triangle it's right it's it's a whole
1:02:25 lot so yeah I'm digging it and then the
1:02:28 um we did
1:02:30 the
1:02:33 um the Oney year anniversary one we we
1:02:35 designed the logo in such a way that we
1:02:38 can
1:02:39 do um special edition versions of the
1:02:43 logo and so here's
1:02:46 our here's our Oney year anniversary
1:02:49 version of it which you can still get as
1:02:50 a sticker but we're going to start to do
1:02:53 like quarterly or I don't know every
1:02:55 other month or something like that we're
1:02:56 going to do contest where people can do
1:02:58 backgrounds for this and then we'll
1:03:00 select one or two to make the the
1:03:02 special edition we'll do you know
1:03:05 special editions of shirts stickers [ __ ]
1:03:07 like that and then all the all the
1:03:08 proceeds of this go to support the
1:03:09 infrastructure of the salon so that's
1:03:12 why it's free ain't that cool it's so
1:03:16 cool all right
1:03:20 um let me go show you something and then
1:03:23 I'll show you how I did it
1:03:32 [Laughter]
1:03:38 this is stuff that we're going to start
1:03:41 selling at
1:03:43 storyvine so storyvine if you my
1:03:47 background if anyone
1:03:50 CS is I'm an entrepreneur I'm the
1:03:52 founder and CEO of this company called
1:03:54 story Vine we're an 11 and 1/2 year old
1:03:57 video storytelling platform automated
1:04:01 video
1:04:02 storytelling thank you Silver
1:04:05 Fox
1:04:07 and so we've been around for a while we
1:04:09 do a lot of work in healthcare and
1:04:10 Pharma so think patient stories doctor
1:04:14 videos things like that so a lot of the
1:04:16 stuff a lot of the examples that I'll
1:04:17 show here you'll be like those are
1:04:20 boring because it's Healthcare it's
1:04:23 Pharma it's they're not the mo they're
1:04:25 not the most scintillating um of the of
1:04:29 the people that you hang out with
1:04:34 um but for you know for the for the
1:04:38 better for all of a decade and then some
1:04:41 what Story vine ostensibly was was we
1:04:44 have an app that guides an end user to
1:04:46 tell their story so if it's a patient
1:04:48 our app guides that person to say you
1:04:52 know introduce yourself and and when you
1:04:55 were diagnosed talk about how it felt
1:04:57 when you received your diagnosis you
1:04:58 know how have you been treating it how's
1:05:00 it going things like
1:05:02 that and so people answer questions in
1:05:04 the app it goes up to the cloud 5
1:05:06 minutes later you got a fully edited
1:05:08 video and we can get all that through
1:05:09 compliance and Regulatory and all that
1:05:11 sort of happy horse [ __ ] okay we've
1:05:12 gotten really good at
1:05:14 that but then for the past two years
1:05:16 I've been like not like a crazy person I
1:05:19 have been pathological with this AI
1:05:23 stuff and
1:05:25 like I said I've been just sort of
1:05:27 depositing things in my brain and so for
1:05:29 the past two days I've just
1:05:32 been getting as much out of my head as I
1:05:35 can in combination with this tool that
1:05:38 we just built which is pretty cool so
1:05:39 I'm going to I'm going to walk you
1:05:40 through it so I probably shouldn't even
1:05:42 be showing this stuff this is all this
1:05:44 all very new um but but I think it's
1:05:46 cool and I I think people here
1:05:47 appreciate how I got to how how I got
1:05:50 here so right now we've got um a tool
1:05:55 that we're putting together for one of
1:05:57 our big Pharma clients that
1:05:59 automatically will you upload a video to
1:06:02 it it it automatically generates a
1:06:04 transcription a title of the video a
1:06:07 description of the video and then it
1:06:09 auto chapiz it so you see the
1:06:12 little progress bars down below there
1:06:15 now you see the thumbnails so full
1:06:17 chapter isation and then you click on
1:06:21 the little content generation tab
1:06:25 and here's here's the content that you
1:06:27 can generate so the first one I'll click
1:06:29 on here is a blog post so you click on
1:06:31 blog post and it will automatically
1:06:32 write you a blog post based on this
1:06:35 story so that's that's super
1:06:38 cool um we then can take that and
1:06:43 deliver video shorts and you know
1:06:45 finalized versions of the content and um
1:06:49 like short little video Snippets and
1:06:52 Instagram posts and [ __ ] like that so
1:06:53 that's just basically a Services
1:06:56 offering but then we can start to do
1:06:58 some of this stuff and if you've been in
1:06:59 here for a while you've seen me do this
1:07:01 kind of stuff before okay
1:07:03 so um I saw that you wait I saw that you
1:07:07 use GitHub yep definitely do do GitHub
1:07:11 well the the tech team uses GitHub so
1:07:14 video segments and on-screen copy can
1:07:16 seem can be seamlessly translated so we
1:07:19 start with kind of the raw asset of one
1:07:21 of one of the videos that we use as an
1:07:23 example this woman name
1:07:25 Ellen my greatest source of support
1:07:28 living with rheumatoid arthritis has
1:07:30 been um speaking with other people about
1:07:34 what they've gone through uh reading a
1:07:36 lot about the effects of rheumatoid
1:07:39 arthritis so that's cool here she is in
1:07:53 Spanish
1:07:59 so because storyvine is this modular
1:08:02 system we can take all the components of
1:08:05 her now speaking Spanish put them into
1:08:07 the system generate a video and um put
1:08:11 it into that system I just showed you
1:08:14 and it generates Spanish transcriptions
1:08:17 a Spanish description a Spanish title um
1:08:20 and and then chapter IES that and then
1:08:22 so here's the Spanish version of Ellen's
1:08:26 [Music]
1:08:37 [Music]
1:08:43 video um someone just asked is the user
1:08:46 prompted or is it adlib it's it's
1:08:48 they're prompted but it's it's
1:08:50 unscripted right so the prompt would
1:08:52 would be something like you know share
1:08:54 your first name where you're from and
1:08:57 when you were diagnosed right and so
1:09:00 then they answer that they just answer
1:09:01 that however they want to answer that
1:09:02 and the next question might be what led
1:09:05 you to seek diagnosis from your doctor
1:09:07 like what what were what were the
1:09:08 symptoms and things like that um has
1:09:11 Ellen seen herself speaking Spanish no
1:09:13 but wait till you see wait till you see
1:09:15 what she speaks next okay so so we'll
1:09:19 show the we'll show the Spanish version
1:09:20 of this so there are now 27 languages
1:09:23 supported um by this so here here is
1:09:26 Ellen speaking
1:09:28 [Music]
1:09:35 Hindi and there's the the Hindi language
1:09:39 and then here's a bunch of other
1:09:40 languages we can
1:09:44 do oh thank you for ever hooked and then
1:09:47 here she is speaking
1:09:49 [Music]
1:09:53 Japanese
1:09:58 [Music]
1:10:03 and like even see all the lower thirds
1:10:05 are in Japanese and I'll show you how we
1:10:06 did that that's that's a really cool
1:10:08 thing too all right so that's that's um
1:10:13 the language thing so what I'm doing
1:10:15 here
1:10:16 is prior to all of this stuff is a whole
1:10:20 sales presentation a whole demo of what
1:10:23 the current Story vine does so all of
1:10:25 the stuff I've been working on for the
1:10:27 past two days are the slides of you want
1:10:30 to see some some cool new [ __ ] so this
1:10:33 is the cool new [ __ ] section was the
1:10:35 language conversion done by ha Jen yes
1:10:37 it was U something to be very proud of
1:10:39 thank you very
1:10:40 much indeed ah thank you very much Earth
1:10:43 rocker all right so now check this out
1:10:46 okay
1:10:48 so we do a lot of work in healthcare and
1:10:51 Pharma this is going to sound [ __ ] weird
1:10:55 because it's [ __ ]
1:10:59 weird so Pharma clients hire us to build
1:11:04 a template a framework so that their
1:11:07 patients or their doctors or their
1:11:10 employees or their leaders can make
1:11:12 videos
1:11:13 right one of the challenges that we run
1:11:16 into is that we'll work with a Pharma
1:11:19 client and for a year or more
1:11:24 they can't find patience so they spend a
1:11:28 decent amount of money with us to build
1:11:30 this framework so that they can get
1:11:32 authentic patient stories and then they
1:11:34 can't contract with patients CU they
1:11:36 just can't find them or someone hasn't
1:11:38 done their job or whatever it is
1:11:43 um
1:11:45 so so what we can now do so so I did a
1:11:48 couple of things I said I said one of
1:11:52 the things I've heard from our from our
1:11:54 Pharma clients is well there's sometimes
1:11:56 we've got audio recordings of like an
1:11:59 interview um or sometimes we've got just
1:12:01 text stories and and but we can't we
1:12:04 can't reach back out to those patients
1:12:06 we don't know them anymore or whatever
1:12:07 it might be so so what I thought was
1:12:10 well what what could we do for a
1:12:11 solution for that so I took the picture
1:12:15 of Ellen from from her video I put it
1:12:18 into Dolly I had Dolly explain what
1:12:21 Ellen looked like and then I took the
1:12:25 audio of Ellen
1:12:27 talking and I generated
1:12:30 this I saw medical help 22 years ago
1:12:34 because I was Finding when I arose in
1:12:37 the morning uh my hands were very stiff
1:12:39 I could not really move my hands or my
1:12:43 fingers on yeah exactly forever hooked
1:12:46 he said do you ever sleep uh I I
1:12:48 occasionally sleep it's been it's been a
1:12:50 pretty intense couple of days cuz for
1:12:53 those of with ADHD you know when you go
1:12:55 in the focus hyper hyperfocus tunnel
1:12:58 it's pretty intense uh so this is this
1:13:00 is the result of a lot of hyper Focus um
1:13:03 so yeah no patience no problem exactly
1:13:05 contact the Gemini PR department and
1:13:07 they'll make sense like exactly but so
1:13:10 so this is if you had an audio recording
1:13:12 of a patient you could turn it into that
1:13:14 I then synthesized Ellen's voice so that
1:13:18 we've got a model of Ellen's voice and
1:13:21 so now this video is another just
1:13:24 version of Ellen um where we didn't have
1:13:26 a recording at all I just liter I had uh
1:13:29 chat chbt write the script of something
1:13:31 she might say hi I'm Ellen despite
1:13:35 living with rheumatoid arthritis I've
1:13:37 discovered a passion for water skiing
1:13:38 and interpretive dance which bring joy
1:13:40 and a sense of freedom to my
1:13:43 life and the the water skiing and
1:13:45 interpretive dance I just thought were
1:13:47 funny as [ __ ] but but wouldn't be
1:13:49 something that that would offend someone
1:13:51 in Pharma okay so you you don't even
1:13:54 need people to do these and we can still
1:13:56 we can still leverage our knowledge of
1:13:58 authentic storytelling right and so now
1:14:01 we're going to take it one step further
1:14:03 let's say one of our one of our current
1:14:06 clients has gone two years without
1:14:08 filming a single
1:14:10 patient what if what we could say to
1:14:13 them is
1:14:14 hey rather than you going two years
1:14:17 without anything we'll build a story
1:14:19 Vine template and then while you get
1:14:21 your Contracting in place with real
1:14:23 patients we'll do personas so together
1:14:26 we'll come up with a Persona framework
1:14:28 and then we'll have we'll take those
1:14:30 people that are generated from that
1:14:32 Persona will bring them to Life we'll
1:14:35 have them answer a set of Story vine
1:14:37 questions as if they were a real person
1:14:39 answering Story vine questions in the
1:14:41 app and we will generate something like
1:14:48 this hi I'm George Miller my life's
1:14:51 always been about Simple Pleasures
1:14:53 cooking my Catch of the Day and enjoying
1:14:55 the quiet of the country there's nothing
1:14:58 like the piece of fishing at dawn or the
1:15:00 aroma of a home-cooked meal but when I
1:15:03 was diagnosed with diabetes everything
1:15:05 changed suddenly the foods I love needed
1:15:08 rethinking and my days had to be planned
1:15:10 with care it was a challenge but I've
1:15:13 learned to adapt finding new ways to
1:15:15 enjoy my passions while managing my
1:15:17 health light's different now but no less
1:15:21 rich I mean nice right I'll tell you how
1:15:24 I recorded that that one's [ __ ]
1:15:25 insane and then this one also similarly
1:15:28 how I recorded this one so they also
1:15:29 it's not just patients it's also hcps
1:15:32 doctors right so here's here's a doctor
1:15:35 Persona hello I'm Dr Emily Park as an
1:15:39 under chronologist specializing in
1:15:41 diabetes my Approach goes beyond
1:15:42 traditional treatment I'm deeply
1:15:45 committed to empowering my patients
1:15:47 integrating Medical Care with lifestyle
1:15:49 changes it's a journey we take together
1:15:52 and seeing my patients regain control of
1:15:54 their health is incredibly
1:15:58 rewarding so that's it that's as far as
1:16:00 I got
1:16:02 um I found out today
1:16:06 today if you're if you're wondering if
1:16:08 this is old janky technology it's all
1:16:11 janky technology um I found out today
1:16:14 that 11 Labs has added speech to
1:16:19 speech so um George Miller here
1:16:25 is me talking so I had chat GPT write
1:16:28 the script and then I recorded the audio
1:16:32 of just me just talking like me and then
1:16:35 I had 11 Labs I selected the um the
1:16:39 Santa Claus voice they had a Santa Claus
1:16:42 voice so so George George Miller
1:16:47 62 uses my Cadence right so my my sort
1:16:52 of inflections and Cadence but Santa's
1:16:54 voice hi I'm George Miller my life
1:16:58 Simple Pleasures cooking my Catch of the
1:17:00 Day and enjoying the quiet of the
1:17:02 country so that's why even though it has
1:17:04 a little bit of that digital thing to it
1:17:06 like it's not as stilted as it normally
1:17:08 is because it's just me talking so it's
1:17:11 got my Cadence and rhythms but it's
1:17:14 Santa I know Santa I know him and then
1:17:17 similar with her I recorded I recorded
1:17:19 this and I didn't I didn't make my voice
1:17:22 higher or anything I just recorded this
1:17:24 and I chose one of their built-in models
1:17:27 uh their built-in voice models hello I'm
1:17:30 Dr Emily Park as an endocrinologist
1:17:33 specializing in diabetes my Approach
1:17:35 goes beyond traditional treat but this
1:17:37 was so this is as you can imagine there
1:17:40 there are there
1:17:43 are at least half a dozen tools and
1:17:46 probably more that I had to do in a
1:17:49 certain order to get certain things and
1:17:52 then there's the tools that Story vine
1:17:54 has to get the videos into our things to
1:17:56 get so
1:17:58 anyway so that's uh that's what my past
1:18:02 two days have been and why my eyes look
1:18:04 so [ __ ] bloodshot because
1:18:06 normally with my ADD keeps me away from
1:18:09 the computer screen for eight hours
1:18:11 straight but not the past two
1:18:14 days
1:18:17 uh so anyway I'm happy to sort of dig in
1:18:20 on how I did any of that but this is
1:18:23 fantastic way to represent personas for
1:18:25 more than this type of company yeah I I
1:18:27 know uh IE ux and UI oh that's a really
1:18:31 good idea so so that's so one of the
1:18:33 reasons that I want to show this here is
1:18:36 um like if any of this is interesting to
1:18:38 you DM me my contact information's there
1:18:40 or join the AI salon and you can DM me
1:18:43 there um you know I'd love to talk about
1:18:46 this stuff with people Industries
1:18:49 because
1:18:51 what what I'm excited about out with
1:18:53 what I'm working
1:18:55 on
1:19:00 is I'm I I'm [ __ ] 11 and a half years
1:19:05 into this
1:19:06 business I thought I would have sold
1:19:08 this thing you know year five year six
1:19:11 I'm 11 and A2 years in and along comes
1:19:14 all this AI technology that really puts
1:19:17 everything that I've built at complete
1:19:19 risk right do we really need people
1:19:21 telling stories if we can just have a I
1:19:23 infinite tell infinite amounts of
1:19:26 stories um I I don't know the answer to
1:19:29 that for one
1:19:31 thing but but what my instinct tells me
1:19:36 is that
1:19:38 authenticity is going to be increasingly
1:19:40 important in a in a world full of
1:19:42 synthesized
1:19:44 content
1:19:47 and I can
1:19:50 take what we're known for and trusted
1:19:52 for and leverage that where storytelling
1:19:55 authentic storytelling is the DNA
1:19:58 Foundation of all this other
1:20:01 content so there's going to be lots of
1:20:03 people that do personas there's going to
1:20:05 be lots of people that do Omni Channel
1:20:07 content engines there's going to lot be
1:20:09 lots of people that do
1:20:11 translations I think we have something
1:20:13 by saying we're doing narrative Centric
1:20:17 stuff and I I agree I think this goes
1:20:20 Way
1:20:22 Beyond Way Beyond
1:20:25 um just Healthcare and Pharma but I
1:20:28 would love to talk to people I have
1:20:30 heyen paid version if anyone wants to
1:20:31 team up as well cool Qui quick take Jake
1:20:34 so take quick take Jake up on that if
1:20:38 you don't have a paid version of hey Jen
1:20:39 and you want to start playing with some
1:20:40 of this and he's willing to give up some
1:20:42 of his credits and you can do a a
1:20:44 project together [ __ ] go for it
1:20:47 that's one of the values of the salon
1:20:49 collaboration and generosity there's two
1:20:51 of them right there
1:20:53 quick take Jake just showed
1:20:56 up did two of them there's also
1:20:59 inclusion in there because he doesn't
1:21:00 know who you all
1:21:02 are our authenticity is a beautiful
1:21:04 snapshot of our Humanity on display yeah
1:21:07 exactly exactly and I think there's a
1:21:09 way to do like what I tried to capture
1:21:12 with that synthesize stuff was
1:21:14 say there's a lot of different flavors
1:21:17 of it right like you could take the
1:21:22 photographic image of Ellen and you
1:21:25 could do a synthesized voice and it
1:21:27 would come off as really creepy but if
1:21:29 you do the you know the the watercolor
1:21:33 looking thing of her and you put her
1:21:36 real voice behind it that's kind of
1:21:38 interesting right or or if you do just a
1:21:40 true synthesized one but it's based on
1:21:41 her
1:21:43 voice it's clear that it's not a real
1:21:45 person you're not trying to get one over
1:21:47 on someone that's another thing that I
1:21:48 think I'm going to work on as a whole um
1:21:53 system for identifying what kind of
1:21:56 content is this is this a real person is
1:21:58 this a synthesized person is it a real
1:22:00 story is it a Persona
1:22:02 story ever thought of caregiver
1:22:04 testimonials as a way to support
1:22:06 families of newly diagnosed Yeah we
1:22:07 actually forever hooked we do a lot of
1:22:09 um we do a fair amount of patient
1:22:13 stories where we'll design the template
1:22:14 in such a way that it can be um it could
1:22:17 be used by either the patient or the
1:22:19 caregiver so they just answer it from
1:22:20 their point of view there's usually one
1:22:22 question in there that's specific to
1:22:24 each so we'll put like a double prompt
1:22:27 in if you're a patient answer this one
1:22:29 if you're a caregiver answer that
1:22:31 one um idea can you put those videos in
1:22:34 a kiosk inside a mall inside a hospital
1:22:37 inside of wherever elderly people are
1:22:39 yeah you could you could absolutely do
1:22:41 that and what's what's so one of the
1:22:43 challenges with Story vine is you know
1:22:45 getting people to share their stories
1:22:47 and especially when you have this this
1:22:49 overhang of you know Pharma being so
1:22:52 restrictive about whose stories they
1:22:53 tell um you can end up like you you have
1:22:59 a system in storyvine that is designed
1:23:01 to scale
1:23:04 storytelling and you don't have a lot of
1:23:06 stories to tell so this synthesized
1:23:10 stuff solves that that I'm really
1:23:11 excited about um we also do a lot of
1:23:14 work in um in nonprofit and advocacy so
1:23:18 um you know Ann Murphy in here is you
1:23:22 know deep in that world so so the
1:23:24 ability to do um towns and wlaw wants to
1:23:28 join the AI Salon that's awesome I'm GNA
1:23:31 go go let Townsen in I know him he is a
1:23:33 mad man he's
1:23:37 [Music]
1:23:39 great but I think we have Vicki in here
1:23:41 so I bet she already let him
1:23:44 in oh I got
1:23:50 him
1:23:51 um anyway so a't that cool I'm excited
1:23:55 about
1:23:56 that let me show you I'll show you a
1:23:59 couple other things any anyone have any
1:24:00 questions about any of the [ __ ] I just
1:24:07 showed my topic is heavy it's the
1:24:10 sensationalism if you could get past the
1:24:12 HIPPA laws and Phi we do it all the time
1:24:16 that's we've been doing it for 11 and A2
1:24:18 years we are we're not hipa compliant
1:24:21 but we've been through security audits
1:24:23 with fiser MK
1:24:25 novaris BMS boringer Binger
1:24:29 engelheim like we have msas in place
1:24:32 with a lot of the big farmers
1:24:34 so we know the privacy and security
1:24:37 World quite well we've been pent tested
1:24:40 by by some of the biggest companies in
1:24:41 the world want to hear a funny
1:24:43 pentesting story this is [ __ ]
1:24:47 hilarious
1:24:49 so so we're trying to get I I won't say
1:24:52 the name of the company but it's a it's
1:24:55 it's one of the big three Pharma
1:24:56 companies like it's it's it's one of the
1:24:59 biggies un [ __ ]
1:25:01 believable and so they said okay we got
1:25:03 to do penetration testing we're like
1:25:05 okay and that's basically where someone
1:25:06 tries to hack into your system so they
1:25:09 assign us this pentester dude in
1:25:12 India and we give him credentials
1:25:17 and then a day later because there's the
1:25:20 12-h hour you know
1:25:23 thing a day later we come in and he's
1:25:25 like I don't have access to the system
1:25:28 like okay here's new
1:25:31 credentials day later I don't have
1:25:34 access to the system okay we did it a
1:25:36 third time I don't have access I still
1:25:39 don't have access to the system like
1:25:41 what the [ __ ]
1:25:43 so so we're like well let's I have an
1:25:47 idea we we'll figure out when you know
1:25:49 late at night for us and early in the
1:25:51 morning for you we can get on a call
1:25:54 so it's like 700 or 8 at night we get on
1:25:56 this
1:25:56 call and the dude's sitting in a
1:26:00 internet cafe in Mumbai and it's it's
1:26:03 like there's dogs barking and like
1:26:05 mopeds zooming by and it's just like
1:26:08 [ __ ] chaos so we can barely
1:26:10 understand him anyway and then there's
1:26:12 just all this noise behind him so it
1:26:14 takes us like an hour to figure out
1:26:16 what's going on so what was going on was
1:26:21 this he he would take the credentials
1:26:25 that we gave him he would log into our
1:26:28 system and then he would run a script
1:26:31 and what the script did the first thing
1:26:33 that the script did was it changed the
1:26:37 password and then he tried and then it
1:26:40 tried to log into the system with the
1:26:41 old password so so we said uh maybe
1:26:47 don't run the script that changes the
1:26:49 password before you try to log in with
1:26:51 the password
1:26:54 and uh yeah that was one of the biggest
1:26:56 tech companies in the world I'm like
1:26:59 yeah all right
1:27:02 whatever that was that was
1:27:05 special
1:27:13 ah I just heard from a prestigious
1:27:15 University they find a real human is
1:27:19 better than the
1:27:21 films
1:27:24 then the films for
1:27:28 what oh then like synthesize people yeah
1:27:31 I I would agree with that like listen I
1:27:33 have a company that's about authentic
1:27:35 storytelling so totally agree with that
1:27:38 and I have a client who hasn't made a
1:27:41 single video in two years cuz they can't
1:27:43 get a real human on screen so let's get
1:27:46 old oh what's his name George Miller
1:27:49 let's get him George
1:27:51 Miller
1:27:54 come on George tell them how it really
1:27:59 is hi I'm George Miller my life's always
1:28:03 been about Simple Pleasures cooking my
1:28:05 Catch of the Day and enjoying the quiet
1:28:07 of the
1:28:09 country that's Santa
1:28:11 Claus I'm technically a tech guy but
1:28:14 honestly love to let AI just do the tech
1:28:17 for me so I can focus on the big picture
1:28:20 Earth rocker that's that's a a brilliant
1:28:22 Insight actually because that's the
1:28:26 um that's the skillo to Future in my
1:28:29 opinion none of us are going to have to
1:28:31 do much of the Tactical execution other
1:28:33 than sort of the refinement at the like
1:28:35 we're going to have to do the Last Mile
1:28:38 right but AI is going to do the bulk of
1:28:40 the heavy lifting for almost all the
1:28:42 Tactical execution and we just need to
1:28:44 do the Creative Direction
1:28:47 basically um or the oops I got rid of my
1:28:51 hang on
1:29:05 [Music]
1:29:15 and they get paid to do that hacking for
1:29:18 money yeah they're called white hat
1:29:19 hackers the like the guys that work for
1:29:22 f
1:29:23 fiser um they probably they probably
1:29:28 Moonlight as black hat hackers
1:29:31 too never quite understood the white hat
1:29:34 hacker thing but I sort of get
1:29:38 it it just seems very tempting to
1:29:41 me pen what pen testing penetration
1:29:44 testing is what it's
1:29:47 called I missed the
1:29:51 sketch I oh I missed how the sketch
1:29:53 videos were created I cuz I haven't
1:29:55 shown it yet but I will do that what
1:29:58 were you saying about nonprofit work
1:29:59 Story vine my company we do we've got a
1:30:02 a product for
1:30:03 nonprofits um the the thing about
1:30:06 nonprofits is they have lots of stories
1:30:08 to tell but they also are chronically
1:30:10 underst staffed so so like the problem
1:30:12 with Pharma is they're so restrictive
1:30:15 they can't get Stories the problem with
1:30:17 nonprofits is they're so chronically
1:30:18 understaffed that even if they can get
1:30:21 stories they don't necessarily have
1:30:22 someone to curate the stories and post
1:30:24 things and things like that so
1:30:29 there's there is something in the in the
1:30:32 um in the in these new a AI products for
1:30:35 for uh nonprofits as well Yale asked me
1:30:39 to speak to their surgeons about SMA
1:30:41 syndrome I'm willing oh that's awesome
1:30:43 that's really cool wow
1:30:45 congrats
1:30:51 nice
1:30:53 [Music]
1:30:56 can't you hire an independent pentester
1:30:57 who gives you the pentest report and
1:30:59 submit for your Security review then yes
1:31:02 we can and we have but uh
1:31:06 sometimes companies like big Pharma
1:31:09 companies want their own pent testers CU
1:31:11 their own pentesters are better than
1:31:14 freelance pentesters which is not true
1:31:19 but when you want to get an MSA in place
1:31:21 you do what they ask you to do and in
1:31:24 MSA for those of you not in the world
1:31:28 of big Pharma procurement negotiations
1:31:32 stands for master Services agreement so
1:31:35 Master what a master Services agreement
1:31:37 is is a big company like say novaris
1:31:41 says storyvine is okay to work
1:31:44 with if you want to work with them
1:31:46 because we have an MSA in place all you
1:31:48 need to do is is uh create and sign a
1:31:51 work order order and you don't have to
1:31:53 go through all that crap so and you
1:31:55 generally have to renew them once a year
1:31:58 so it's pain in the ass but you
1:32:02 know what are you going to
1:32:05 do and he got paid yeah of course he got
1:32:08 he works for a big Fortune 100 company
1:32:11 of course he got
1:32:14 paid competence is not required in most
1:32:16 of in most companies
1:32:19 competence is like a third or fourth
1:32:23 tier
1:32:28 attribute oh my God that's what my S
1:32:31 software vendors did to pass Walmart
1:32:33 info SEC
1:32:36 requirements that's a heavy topic I
1:32:38 speak about oh yeah yeah no that's
1:32:41 really congratulations that's really
1:32:42 that's really amazing big name slip
1:32:45 that's all right it's
1:32:47 fiser I don't give a
1:32:49 [ __ ] oops doesn't matter
1:32:53 do not matter do
1:33:02 matter seems Good Fortune 100 companies
1:33:05 are often a big mess I have not seen one
1:33:07 that isn't a big
1:33:09 mess I've been working so when I did
1:33:11 agency.com we built websites for the
1:33:14 Fortune 500 so I've been working for
1:33:16 Fortune 500 companies since like the mid
1:33:19 90s they are all special
1:33:25 you know it's funny too we were working
1:33:27 with
1:33:28 one we got a really big deal with this
1:33:31 this big Pharma company and they were
1:33:35 amazing they took their work
1:33:38 seriously they valued competence they
1:33:40 rewarded
1:33:42 competence um we did just a kick-ass
1:33:45 project together and then they re
1:33:48 ored and cut just massive massive
1:33:52 amounts of people and it was totally
1:33:53 arbitrary who they cut and we've been
1:33:56 trying for 18 months to renegotiate that
1:34:01 contract and the culture is destroyed
1:34:04 it's like they're not the same
1:34:06 company it's a it's such a it's such a
1:34:09 it's like a crime it was it was so good
1:34:12 and then it's just like
1:34:14 gone Amazing do you have any re
1:34:17 resources on AI regulations standards on
1:34:20 data diversity inclusion and ethics
1:34:23 um I don't actually I've got a um I did
1:34:28 a personal GPT on
1:34:32 um you could interact with the with
1:34:34 Biden's um executive order on AI which
1:34:37 has got that's got a lot of stuff in
1:34:39 there in it it's called The I don't know
1:34:42 it's the executive order something or
1:34:45 other um I don't that would be something
1:34:49 good to add into the resources section
1:34:50 on the AI salon um I don't I don't have
1:34:53 a ton in there I have a few AI ethics
1:34:56 gpts yeah Lily connect with lunatick
1:34:59 here I'm on your AIS Salon page amazing
1:35:02 resources can I help with this [ __ ]
1:35:05 yes yes so one of the things I put at
1:35:08 the somewhere in that in that document
1:35:10 of resources is there's a bunch of stuff
1:35:12 in there I don't have so if you have
1:35:15 ideas for that and lunatick maybe we put
1:35:17 some of your gpts in there so Lily and
1:35:22 Daisy it's Daisy um why don't you guys
1:35:26 connect on the salon and then I'll
1:35:29 connect with you and we can get some of
1:35:31 those resources up that would be awesome
1:35:32 that would be really terrific I'm
1:35:34 working on this I'm a data scientist
1:35:36 awesome oh that's super cool perfect
1:35:38 yeah it's because that's that stuff's
1:35:40 super important and and the EU just
1:35:42 passed their um passed their the AI act
1:35:45 which one of the one of the things in
1:35:48 the AI act that I thought was I like I
1:35:51 hadn't thought about it but one of the
1:35:53 things in there is they're
1:35:57 preventing
1:35:59 um
1:36:01 the emotional
1:36:04 analysis of employees and and people at
1:36:07 schools it's like oh yeah that's that's
1:36:10 probably a good
1:36:12 thing CU because if you look at the like
1:36:15 The Vision Pro goggles one of the one of
1:36:17 the things that they sort of talked
1:36:19 about but they they kind of talked in
1:36:20 circles around but if you dug into it
1:36:23 one of the things they're doing in the
1:36:24 Vision Pro goggles this is this is
1:36:26 [ __ ] science
1:36:29 fiction there's four cameras pointed at
1:36:31 your eyes right so I assume one's
1:36:33 infrared and one you know normal cameras
1:36:37 um they're measuring micro micro
1:36:41 movements of your irises dilations of
1:36:43 your
1:36:47 pupils so so the way the interface works
1:36:50 in the Vision Pro
1:36:52 is there's a set of buttons in front of
1:36:54 your eyes and when you look at a button
1:36:57 it highlights it and then you do this
1:37:00 with your hands outside somewhere to
1:37:02 click on it right so you look at a
1:37:04 button and then you click on it and you
1:37:06 go there so if it's the brow web browser
1:37:09 you look at the web browser thing and
1:37:10 you go like this and you go there one of
1:37:13 the things apple is doing is before your
1:37:17 eyes look to that
1:37:20 icon
1:37:23 your pupils do a thing that basically
1:37:25 say hey I'm excited about that icon so
1:37:29 they're measuring in real time that that
1:37:33 you're about to look at that icon and
1:37:36 even before you click on it they're
1:37:38 starting to preload the the
1:37:41 application to be more responsive so
1:37:43 that like by the time you click on it
1:37:45 it's right
1:37:48 there that's some intense
1:37:50 [ __ ] cuz they can they can know your
1:37:54 emotions before you know
1:38:01 them you're about to buy something they
1:38:03 know it or they will know it like that
1:38:07 that technology will be able to know
1:38:11 that we having fun
1:38:13 [Laughter]
1:38:17 yet oh man all right
1:38:22 micro dilations are your sympathetic
1:38:24 nervous system yep exactly isn't that
1:38:26 [ __ ] crazy the pupil thing is nuts
1:38:29 okay that might be my neurodivergent
1:38:31 self though wait what did you say before
1:38:33 Oh mind
1:38:35 blown no I know it's it's [ __ ]
1:38:38 nuts who was I supposed to work with on
1:38:40 AI regulation please in in here her
1:38:43 name's lunatick l n
1:38:46 atick and then um in the salon she's
1:38:50 Daisy DA AI i s y I
1:38:53 think so just connec in here with lunar
1:38:57 stick and then you can you can
1:38:59 chat yep
1:39:02 perfect not so much emotions as
1:39:05 excitement yeah that's probably true
1:39:06 fight ORF flight is a terrible term but
1:39:08 well known by the masses
1:39:10 yep all right cool um so let me show you
1:39:14 a couple of
1:39:16 things as I'm sort of sharing how I did
1:39:19 some of the stuff I did today um if
1:39:21 you'd share the live uh by the way we're
1:39:24 up to 12,000 likes you guys are amazing
1:39:27 um if you'd share this live with your
1:39:28 friends and family here's here's my big
1:39:32 request is um share this live with
1:39:34 friends and family that you know it will
1:39:36 bug that you're watching something about
1:39:41 AI that AI sound
1:39:47 stupid and then you can get in a
1:39:49 conversation with them and say have you
1:39:50 ever tried it no I'm not going to try it
1:39:52 the robots are going to kill us what are
1:39:53 you
1:39:57 dumb and then just agree with them and
1:40:00 tell them yeah it's dumb you want to see
1:40:01 it anyway and then show them something
1:40:03 cool blow their [ __ ]
1:40:07 minds it's honest to God if you haven't
1:40:10 done it yet it it is one of the true
1:40:12 joys in life this this AI stuff is so so
1:40:15 I talk in here all the time about use AI
1:40:18 until you have your Kevin McAllister
1:40:19 moment right the the Home Alone moment
1:40:23 it is it is it is a a joy in life to
1:40:28 take someone who's got their arms
1:40:30 crossed they're like I don't like
1:40:33 AI they got all sorts of opinions on it
1:40:35 but they've never used
1:40:37 it and
1:40:39 to to get them to sit down long enough
1:40:42 to see what it actually does and then
1:40:44 and then if you know something about
1:40:46 them do something that's relevant to
1:40:50 them and when they have that moment of
1:40:52 like well yeah I mean that's H that's
1:40:56 huh I didn't know it could do that but
1:40:58 you know I mean it's just but it
1:41:00 certainly can't do what I do I'm I'm a
1:41:01 project manager you know it's a it's a
1:41:03 completely different thing we need the
1:41:06 human involvement with oh my God it does
1:41:08 that too oh my oh my God what what does
1:41:12 this mean for my job like that moment
1:41:15 it's just [ __ ] amazing cuz you can't
1:41:18 it they'll only have that moment one
1:41:21 time right like it's the first time they
1:41:23 have that
1:41:24 moment and then they can't look they
1:41:26 can't come back from it like no one that
1:41:29 I know that has had that moment has come
1:41:32 back it's red pill
1:41:34 [ __ ] once you realize what these tools
1:41:36 are capable of and you realize that they
1:41:41 that that we get to wield them we we are
1:41:44 in this remarkably privileged moment in
1:41:48 history that we get to play with these
1:41:50 tools in their their formative stages
1:41:53 why everything is shitty right now why
1:41:55 all these apps are janky and the things
1:41:57 hallucinate and people have seven
1:41:59 fingers and just all that
1:42:01 crap is just cuz we're new it's it's
1:42:04 early 3 years from now these things are
1:42:08 going to be [ __ ] perfect
1:42:11 like
1:42:13 perfect like holy [ __ ] [ __ ] perfect
1:42:17 we're going to look back at this time
1:42:19 sitting on this stupid [ __ ] Tik Tok
1:42:22 Channel with this stupid [ __ ] idiot
1:42:24 making stupid [ __ ] jokes about
1:42:27 jankiness we're going to look back on
1:42:29 this time
1:42:30 lovingly because we're going to realize
1:42:33 holy [ __ ] that was the beginning this is
1:42:36 the beginning it is so rare to be in
1:42:40 this conversation this
1:42:42 early I made a Roblox Enthusiast GPT and
1:42:45 my 12-year-old showed her friends that's
1:42:48 that's a [ __ ] miracle lunatick holy
1:42:51 [ __ ] that's
1:42:53 cool that's really cool don't insult my
1:42:57 friend
1:42:58 Kyle was someone trolling
1:43:02 me they can troll me all I want here's
1:43:05 here's my request it really is red pill
1:43:06 it really is red pill um Tik Tok has
1:43:09 given me the stable unstable connection
1:43:12 no Tik Tok should be giving you the
1:43:14 unstable host
1:43:17 notification sorry sorry the host of
1:43:19 This Ti Tik Tok is current ly
1:43:22 unstable the the host of this Tik Tok
1:43:25 has been unstable for
1:43:30 months it's been it's it's it's been 322
1:43:34 days since this host has not been
1:43:39 stable I recently
1:43:42 used I'm talking about you insulting you
1:43:45 oh yeah well you know I'm allowed to
1:43:48 self-deprecation Is My Jam shame is my
1:43:51 love language self-deprecation is my is
1:43:54 my
1:43:55 jam you missed my joke I did miss your
1:43:58 joke sorry about that made my first one
1:44:01 tonight
1:44:05 awesome friends are finally showing a
1:44:07 hint of curiosity and asking about AI
1:44:10 keep talking that's another thing that I
1:44:12 say in here a lot as you learn about
1:44:15 this stuff share what you're learning
1:44:17 share what you're learning share it on
1:44:19 the AI Salon but also share it on
1:44:20 LinkedIn in share it on Facebook share
1:44:22 it on Instagram but Kyle people are
1:44:25 going to think I'm a weirdo let them
1:44:27 think you're a weirdo you are a
1:44:29 weirdo if you're playing with this [ __ ]
1:44:31 right now you're a weirdo do you know
1:44:33 that
1:44:34 82% of
1:44:36 Americans have not used chat
1:44:39 GPT
1:44:41 20%
1:44:43 have I would imagine it's a very small
1:44:46 percentage of that 20% is using it
1:44:49 regularly we are so [ __ ] early so if
1:44:52 you're talking about this stuff right
1:44:53 now if you're curious about this stuff
1:44:55 right now you are a weirdo but here's
1:44:57 what's going to happen and it's
1:44:59 happening to to the Irregulars the
1:45:01 people that show up here a lot it's
1:45:02 happening to them again and again and
1:45:05 again and again and again and again is
1:45:08 they're talking about it and people are
1:45:10 like you're a [ __ ]
1:45:12 weirdo and then a month later uh hey I
1:45:16 know you were like looking at that AI
1:45:17 stuff uh the VP wants to learn about
1:45:21 that could you give a little workshop
1:45:22 where you teach
1:45:24 a sure she goes in she gives a little
1:45:29 workshop all of a sudden she's got a
1:45:31 meeting with one of the head honchos in
1:45:32 the company now she's known for being an
1:45:36 innovator and everyone's asking her
1:45:38 about it that's going to happen over and
1:45:40 over and over and over for all of us all
1:45:44 of
1:45:45 us same with my friends I set up a cly
1:45:48 to book time to show them who was it
1:45:50 that said was it I think it was cuno
1:45:52 someone in
1:45:53 here is setting up a an AI group in
1:45:57 their apartment building I think that's
1:45:59 [ __ ] awesome like meet down in the
1:46:01 laundry room with your laptop and make
1:46:04 some images of do I think it's [ __ ]
1:46:07 awesome oh man talk about it for sure
1:46:11 yeah cuno is one she's she's had a bunch
1:46:13 of good meetings because of the so
1:46:14 Source Camp it's only taken a year to
1:46:16 get a few interested people and it's a
1:46:19 part of every conv yep wearing them down
1:46:22 I I I'll tell you me too Source Camp I
1:46:25 am absolutely [ __ ]
1:46:28 insufferable I just I don't it's
1:46:32 I every conversation I'm in someone says
1:46:35 something I'm like well you could do
1:46:37 that with AI or have you seen the AI
1:46:39 that does that or have you tried it like
1:46:42 I can't not talk about
1:46:45 it I told my fans I nephew engineer I'm
1:46:49 using Ai and he jumped down my throat he
1:46:51 fears job loss he should he should fear
1:46:54 job loss he should get excited about it
1:46:57 and he should get excited about new jobs
1:47:00 being created but it is the people that
1:47:05 are angry about it that's that are
1:47:08 sitting on their Soap Box talking about
1:47:10 it without having used it that are going
1:47:12 to get hurt the
1:47:13 worst so keep wearing him down Becky
1:47:17 just just keep wearing him
1:47:19 down uh I'm giving AI how to make a GPT
1:47:23 presentation to my women in Tech group
1:47:24 that's [ __ ] awesome hey I would go
1:47:28 cool oh there's Wisconsin condos hey
1:47:31 Shirley you remember the old dialup
1:47:33 bbs's in fact I've
1:47:35 got in one of my do I have one of my
1:47:38 decks open that has it
1:47:42 no let me see if I've
1:47:44 [Music]
1:47:47 got is this thing here yeah
1:47:52 in this presentation not only do I
1:47:54 remember dial up
1:47:57 bbs's I oh is it not in here no it's in
1:48:02 here I
1:48:10 have where's my sound oh here it
1:48:19 is
1:48:25 that was so Urban desires was the the
1:48:28 online magazine I I uh published in
1:48:31 1994 and that this slide is about this
1:48:35 was my big Epiphany with the worldwide
1:48:36 web was that
1:48:39 issue I dialed up I I I learned enough
1:48:43 HTML to put together the first issue of
1:48:45 a magazine an art and culture
1:48:48 magazine someone told me if you want to
1:48:50 put put it on the internet you have to
1:48:51 get it on a server which I didn't know
1:48:53 what that was so there's like there's
1:48:54 this computer in California that you
1:48:57 dial up to and you put your stuff there
1:48:59 and I was like okay so so I did that and
1:49:03 I put my stuff on that computer in
1:49:05 California and then three weeks later
1:49:08 there was a full page article of urban
1:49:10 Desires in liberon the Parisian News
1:49:13 Daily and that was the moment that I
1:49:15 realized holy [ __ ] the world just
1:49:18 changed and that was right around the
1:49:20 time that I started agency.com which was
1:49:22 one of the first digital agencies and I
1:49:24 got to ride that that
1:49:26 wave all the way up and part of the way
1:49:30 down um and I didn't think there'd be a
1:49:33 time in my life when um I would see that
1:49:38 again and yet here we
1:49:40 are here with [ __ ]
1:49:44 ah all right let me show you a couple of
1:49:46 cool things
1:49:49 um well I think think they're
1:49:56 cool let me go down through
1:50:04 [Music]
1:50:07 here okay so so one of the things that I
1:50:12 showed earlier was
1:50:15 this we've got this new tool that that
1:50:18 we've created I haven't come up with a
1:50:19 name for it yet although I do like so
1:50:21 one of our like tradem Marky kind of
1:50:23 things is automagic automagic editing
1:50:27 and I came up with AI to Magic huh Auto
1:50:31 Magic AI to Magic you get it so that I'm
1:50:34 happy with but what this thing is is you
1:50:37 upload a video it generates a transcript
1:50:40 it then writes a title of the video a
1:50:42 description of the video it then chapter
1:50:43 IES it this is now a computer
1:50:46 application but how I knew how to do
1:50:50 this was I did a zapier automation one
1:50:53 of the very first things I did when I
1:50:54 learned about chat GPT was I learned
1:50:57 about
1:50:58 zapier and creating
1:51:00 automations
1:51:02 and I took transcripts of things and
1:51:05 turned them into content and I made a
1:51:07 zappier automation that you answer a
1:51:09 series of questions about a topic and
1:51:12 then it'll generate a blog post and a
1:51:14 tweet and a this and of that so I
1:51:16 learned how to do that like a year
1:51:18 ago and so
1:51:21 even though this thing's super slick and
1:51:22 it does it automatic and all the
1:51:23 promptings built in and everything it's
1:51:25 basically just a zapier automation it's
1:51:27 I mean we're
1:51:28 using actual technology in there but
1:51:31 same [ __ ] it's API calls to open
1:51:35 AI um so that's that one um this is the
1:51:39 blog
1:51:40 post same
1:51:44 [ __ ] um is there anything in here that's
1:51:47 Ai No this is us just turning the a into
1:51:52 content okay authentic translation
1:51:55 so we have our original clip has been
1:52:00 speaking and then we have the Spanish
1:52:05 clip oh thank you for ever hook that's
1:52:07 awesome thank you for subscribing that
1:52:09 means a lot um so now she's speaking
1:52:13 Spanish so that was done in hey Jen so
1:52:15 if you go
1:52:16 [Music]
1:52:19 to I think it's labs. hen.com
1:52:33 [Music]
1:52:36 you upload [ __ ] you pick a
1:52:40 language there are 27 of
1:52:43 them and you
1:52:47 make Ellen speak Hindi
1:52:54 Wasington
1:52:56 okay so that was that that's that piece
1:52:58 of
1:53:00 it
1:53:02 um what else we have here this is just
1:53:05 the same tool but if you upload a
1:53:09 Spanish um video you get back Spanish
1:53:12 content now there's there's some
1:53:14 weirdness in it sometimes in Japanese I
1:53:17 can't get it to generate Japanese so we
1:53:19 just we got some prompt
1:53:21 some prompt modification to do but
1:53:24 that's that and then this video was
1:53:26 assembled by Story vine my company's
1:53:36 technology but let me go show you
1:53:38 something here that's that I think was
1:53:40 this is super bitching if I do say so
1:53:44 myself
1:53:49 dashboard
1:54:16 oops bad
1:54:19 coding
1:54:25 go Ellen
1:54:31 AAR all right so here's
1:54:35 Ellen's um videos the way our system
1:54:38 works we we have um we capture content
1:54:45 in segments right so Ellen takes a
1:54:47 picture she introduces herself
1:54:51 she answers a question about what she's
1:54:52 passionate about and and then she does
1:54:55 that in the app it gets uploaded to our
1:54:57 backend system and then you have these
1:54:59 individual segments hi my name is Ellen
1:55:02 I'm from bellw and then you also have
1:55:05 captured text so if I if I edit this
1:55:08 we've got like Ellen's name and the city
1:55:10 she lives in and what she was diagnosed
1:55:12 with and and you know all this and then
1:55:16 for the when the video is produced it's
1:55:20 got these little lower Thirds with the
1:55:22 questions that she's answering on it so
1:55:25 what struck me is if we're going to have
1:55:29 a Japanese video or a Spanish video or
1:55:31 whatever video we've got to have content
1:55:34 for those lower thirds so this was
1:55:38 another thing that I realized oh I know
1:55:40 how to do this I I played with a tool
1:55:42 once
1:55:45 um so I'm going to Google
1:55:49 Sheets
1:55:51 and let's see
1:55:55 translation story mind variable
1:55:57 translator
1:56:00 so you probably can't see it let me make
1:56:02 these bigger see where it says
1:56:06 loading that's actually making calls out
1:56:09 to open AI right now so what's happening
1:56:11 is this so I made a little spreadsheet
1:56:14 where here's here's the stuff in English
1:56:16 for that
1:56:17 video and then each one of these cells
1:56:20 is running there there's a there's a
1:56:22 plugin for Sheets called GPT for sheets
1:56:26 so you do equals GPT and then I have a
1:56:29 prompt translate the [ __ ] that's in this
1:56:31 cell into that language in that cell and
1:56:35 so then it translates everything into
1:56:37 Spanish and French and Japanese and
1:56:41 Hindi so I literally copy and paste this
1:56:44 [ __ ] into back
1:56:47 into the
1:56:50 like if we jump into
1:56:52 the Japanese version of Ellen's
1:56:56 video here's all of the Japanese that
1:57:00 was in that spreadsheet so the so the
1:57:04 the proof of concept version that I'm
1:57:08 demoing it'll be done with GPT sheets
1:57:10 but ultimately this will just be
1:57:12 automatic right you'll do some sort of
1:57:14 API call that automatically you know
1:57:16 does all the videos automatically does
1:57:18 all the lower thirds
1:57:20 and then you have her speaking Japanese
1:57:23 with Japanese lower
1:57:29 thirds so that was
1:57:31 cool that's how I did that and then
1:57:34 let's see what else we
1:57:37 got this just the same
1:57:41 [Music]
1:57:46 [ __ ] then we got these
1:57:48 things I saw at medical help 22 years
1:57:52 ago because I was Finding when I wrote
1:57:55 so so this one I was like well I want to
1:58:01 I want to I want to be able to solve if
1:58:04 someone only has audio an audio
1:58:06 recording of someone but there's a story
1:58:08 there how could you create a video well
1:58:12 you can do it with just an image so I
1:58:14 went to chat
1:58:16 JP you can make money chat J
1:58:22 and what did I do let's
1:58:29 see
1:58:36 [Music]
1:58:43 GPT so there's Ellen's picture from from
1:58:46 our system and I said describe this
1:58:49 woman
1:58:50 and then I said come up with different
1:58:53 concepts this is chat GPT 4 by the way
1:58:56 three doesn't do
1:58:58 this and then I said okay give me an
1:59:01 image and I was like eh it's okay I said
1:59:04 can you put her on the left it couldn't
1:59:05 figure out how to put her on the left so
1:59:07 whatever that was
1:59:09 fine I said Okay that was decent then
1:59:12 there was a different style so I said
1:59:14 okay do do the next style so she did
1:59:16 this it's sort of this comic looking
1:59:18 style but she she looks like she pox on
1:59:20 her face so that's not great then it did
1:59:23 that version without the crap on her
1:59:25 face which is fine then there's a
1:59:27 watercolor version I was like that's
1:59:30 nice but could you go the whole way to
1:59:31 the edges of the image and then it made
1:59:34 that one right and I'm like okay that
1:59:35 one's usable so that was the first one I
1:59:37 got where I was like okay that looks
1:59:39 like something and then I just kept
1:59:41 going different styles like the second
1:59:43 one it did there was pretty good that
1:59:45 one's
1:59:47 okay and then I wanted some some other
1:59:50 people and somewhere in here there's
1:59:53 what's his
1:59:55 name so then let's see how did I do this
1:59:59 so then
2:00:01 I I went to D-
2:00:04 ID D-
2:00:13 [Music]
2:00:18 ID
2:00:31 and so see there's there's my little
2:00:34 pitches so the way you do this is you
2:00:37 say create
2:00:39 video and then you upload one of the
2:00:41 pictures so I just grabbed a bunch of
2:00:42 the pictures I made in chat
2:00:45 GPT and then you can upload an audio
2:00:48 file so for
2:00:52 let's
2:00:54 see which one is it this
2:00:57 one yeah
2:01:00 no this
2:01:08 one uh where's my
2:01:18 videos
2:01:24 I saw medical help 22 years so that's
2:01:27 just her recorded voice so I took one of
2:01:30 her videos I just saved the audio and
2:01:34 then in the create video thing that's
2:01:36 the image right so that's just a plain
2:01:38 image and then you upload the audio file
2:01:41 you say make video and it makes the
2:01:43 video and then you can do the same thing
2:01:45 with text and you can do the same thing
2:01:47 with
2:01:48 um recorded voices and let me show you
2:01:51 one final thing over in 11
2:02:04 Labs speech to speech release this thing
2:02:09 is like this was like a holy crap I just
2:02:11 discovered this today so like so like
2:02:14 there's there is a decent amount of
2:02:16 stuff in my presentation that I didn't
2:02:19 even know was
2:02:21 possible um how do I where do I log in
2:02:23 what am I doing wrong here old man
2:02:26 trying to use computers old man trying
2:02:29 to log in yeah old
2:02:41 man okay so this doesn't look like much
2:02:44 it's a very Spartan kind of
2:02:46 interface uh but you got speech to
2:02:48 speech right here
2:02:50 so I've got Rachel what was that woman's
2:02:54 name re ranada the the Asian woman the
2:02:57 Asian woman in that image the older
2:03:00 woman so so I picked I picked her voice
2:03:04 right now and so what I can do is I can
2:03:06 actually just record audio so I can say
2:03:16 um I like going to the movie
2:03:20 and I like sitting in the movies and
2:03:22 eating popcorn and I like drinking a
2:03:25 large large large fountain
2:03:28 soda until I have to pee really bad and
2:03:31 then I go to the bathroom and I do it
2:03:34 over and over again all throughout the
2:03:37 movie all right that's ridiculous but I
2:03:42 didn't say
2:03:43 it Rada said
2:03:48 it
2:03:49 [Music]
2:03:55 I like going to the movies and I like
2:03:58 sitting in the movies and eating popcorn
2:04:01 and I like drinking a large large large
2:04:04 fountain
2:04:05 soda until I have to pee really bad and
2:04:09 then I go to the bathroom and I do it
2:04:12 over and over again all throughout the
2:04:18 Moon
2:04:19 wait what is this tool called again this
2:04:21 is 11 laabs 11
2:04:24 labs. so anyway so this has been my past
2:04:27 two days is just
2:04:29 like trying to figure out how to stitch
2:04:33 all these janky ass tools together into
2:04:37 some coherent [ __ ]
2:04:40 story so how how do you do that I don't
2:04:45 know like you got to be curious you got
2:04:48 to have this [ __ ] in your head like it
2:04:52 neuro um typical people might take say a
2:04:57 uh scientific approach to this and do it
2:05:00 in a in a in a less frenetic way than me
2:05:03 but um yeah
2:05:09 anyway good God
2:05:12 people and this my friends is how your
2:05:14 phone calls are being spoofed oh yeah by
2:05:17 the way cuz that [ __ ] can be done in
2:05:20 real time there's all sorts of apps that
2:05:22 do that in real time now but but this is
2:05:24 how daughters are calling up their
2:05:27 mothers and saying Mom I'm in trouble I
2:05:29 need you to send me money
2:05:35 now yep so anyway and that's you know
2:05:40 it's funny that you say that Vicky like
2:05:42 this is it's one of the things that I'm
2:05:43 trying to figure out
2:05:45 is how do I use these tools in such a
2:05:48 way that it serves the purpose of my
2:05:50 business and my customer's Business
2:05:52 Without it just being this creepy ass
2:05:54 [ __ ] thing the first the first
2:05:57 synthesized thing I did I did of this
2:05:59 woman named Amina and I did it as a
2:06:01 photorealistic image and it creeped
2:06:04 people the [ __ ] out like people were
2:06:06 like that's [ __ ] evil um so I'm
2:06:10 trying to do this in such a way that
2:06:11 it's
2:06:13 um that it's uh not as creepy and and
2:06:18 like useful like oh I can see how that
2:06:19 would be valuable um yeah cuno can you
2:06:22 show people how to get to Mighty
2:06:23 networks absolutely
2:06:25 so if you are
2:06:29 digging this
2:06:33 community and what this Channel's about
2:06:36 um I've created a thing called the AI
2:06:39 Salon it's a community and if you go to
2:06:41 the salon. a the first link there is a
2:06:44 link to the to our online community
2:06:46 which is hosted on a platform called
2:06:48 Mighty Network
2:06:51 and it's doesn't cost anything um it
2:06:55 does here's what it
2:06:56 costs I want you to go to the welcome to
2:07:00 the salon welcome to the AI
2:07:02 salon and I want you to look at what the
2:07:06 community is about and what our values
2:07:14 are welcome to the
2:07:17 salon and you you know there's cool
2:07:19 pretty pictures there's not a lot of
2:07:21 words it's not a lot of words look look
2:07:23 how short the paragraphs are but I want
2:07:26 you to like my request is read this [ __ ]
2:07:30 and and take a look at what this
2:07:32 community is about what we're up
2:07:39 to come
2:07:46 on so who we are why we're here how we
2:07:49 explore and then what our values are
2:07:51 curiosity
2:07:53 generosity
2:07:55 exploration
2:07:57 collaboration
2:08:00 inclusion
2:08:01 empathy
2:08:03 empathy
2:08:04 empathy this shit's scary people are
2:08:07 scared they're freaked out they're
2:08:08 pissed
2:08:09 off have empathy for that cuz change is
2:08:13 hard
2:08:17 and change like the kind of change that
2:08:20 AI is going to precipitate is really
2:08:22 [ __ ]
2:08:23 scary what's amazing is it's less scary
2:08:26 when you're in it it's very scary from
2:08:28 the outside so anyway so if you resonate
2:08:31 with the values please please go read
2:08:32 that that's that's the cost and then the
2:08:35 second cost is oh there's more Kyle oh
2:08:37 my God second cost is I would really
2:08:41 request that you introduce yourself
2:08:42 there's a section called introduce
2:08:44 yourself and be generous talk about who
2:08:47 you are and what you do and where you
2:08:48 are are on this journey even if where
2:08:50 you are on this journey
2:08:52 is nowhere I'm just
2:08:56 starting want to know a secret all of us
2:09:01 are all of us are just starting because
2:09:04 everything keeps
2:09:06 changing
2:09:08 um this is the real problem for
2:09:11 political donations
2:09:13 Irregulars oh the Irregulars so so first
2:09:18 of all thanks to the Irregulars who are
2:09:19 here tonight and modding and things like
2:09:21 that so the Irregulars are people who
2:09:23 are in this channel regularly that show
2:09:26 up a lot we did a survey earlier and it
2:09:28 was it was like 65% of the people were
2:09:31 Irregulars that that filled out the
2:09:33 survey
2:09:35 um the Irregulars have a private channel
2:09:38 on on on the AI Salon if you're a
2:09:41 subscriber to this channel um a it
2:09:43 supports the channel so I'd appreciate
2:09:45 that um but it also G gains you access
2:09:47 to the Irregulars you can also gain
2:09:49 access to the Irregulars without
2:09:50 subscribing but just show up a lot
2:09:53 participate um and and the the
2:09:56 Irregulars channel is really fun it's
2:09:58 just it's people who are it's like a
2:10:00 tighter community and we share lots of
2:10:02 art we talk about things and it's it's
2:10:04 really kind of cool um so you can
2:10:06 support the channel that way you can
2:10:08 support the channel by uh buying the uh
2:10:12 what's it called the series on the in
2:10:14 one of the lower Corners there there's a
2:10:16 series that says underhyped
2:10:19 it's a series of like 17 or 18 videos I
2:10:21 did that um talks
2:10:24 about why AI is significant how it works
2:10:28 how you use it how to not get
2:10:30 overwhelmed by it how to do cool [ __ ]
2:10:32 with it um so I think it's pretty good
2:10:35 it's gotten some good reviews so anyway
2:10:38 that's how you get to that thank you for
2:10:40 that
2:10:42 reminder and I am getting uh sleepy that
2:10:46 was that was a long intense little
2:10:48 little ride I took down the uh down the
2:10:51 old Rabbit
2:11:00 Hole does he always sing like this what
2:11:03 does he want to do chase people away
2:11:06 that's exactly what he wants to do it's
2:11:09 a
2:11:12 conspiracy do you see his hair I don't
2:11:14 even think his hair is
2:11:16 real I think it's a toue I heard it was
2:11:28 three our family's motto is always be
2:11:31 cool fun level- handed take on GL Gary
2:11:34 Glenn Ross that's cool JC thank you for
2:11:36 sharing that Kyle you're
2:11:38 welcome that's why we're
2:11:43 here yeah I'm really excited about it I
2:11:46 I think it's I think there's
2:11:49 I think there's something there I think
2:11:52 there's something there people Adobe
2:11:54 Premiere what about it they do something
2:11:56 cool today adobe's been kind of killing
2:11:58 it with the uh with the AI stuff note to
2:12:01 self always give Kyle the
2:12:14 ISC the values Jewels the values heart
2:12:17 star
2:12:21 yes I showed the values one night and so
2:12:24 what' someone say is is this some sort
2:12:27 of woke
2:12:29 group I'm like if not being an [ __ ]
2:12:33 is woke then
2:12:34 [Laughter]
2:12:40 yep just don't be a like what lunatick
2:12:44 just said ABC always be cool just be
2:12:46 cool [ __ ] chill the [ __ ] out
2:12:49 out understand that everyone else is
2:12:52 going through [ __ ]
2:12:55 too and just do your best and share what
2:12:58 you can share what you
2:13:01 learn was it wise of me to show what I
2:13:04 just showed from about my business
2:13:07 probably
2:13:11 not it's probably some [ __ ] idiot
2:13:13 from a big agency holding company in
2:13:16 here going that's a pretty good idea
2:13:17 Kyle guess go build
2:13:23 death why do I not
2:13:29 care because shit's moving too fast it
2:13:32 doesn't [ __ ]
2:13:35 matter go build all the [ __ ] I just
2:13:37 showed you try to sell
2:13:39 it try try to sell it in
2:13:44 Pharma I'll see you I'll see you at the
2:13:47 uh at the MSA negotiation
2:13:50 [Laughter]
2:13:53 table but I actually think it's
2:13:55 important I think it's important to like
2:13:57 connect the dots
2:14:01 of
2:14:03 how just playing Just [ __ ] around
2:14:06 with
2:14:08 AI
2:14:12 can lead you to very unexpected places
2:14:16 professionally that are truly
2:14:19 remarkable I don't think it's that easy
2:14:21 to build it's too many layers I think
2:14:23 you're good oh thank you very much I
2:14:25 appreciate that Sherry D so listen it
2:14:29 it's not that easy to build I've I've
2:14:30 been doing Story vine for 10 and a half
2:14:32 or 11 and a half
2:14:35 years and I've been doing product stuff
2:14:37 I you know I I've been building stuff
2:14:40 you know online and and you know in
2:14:42 software for three decades so so yeah
2:14:45 I've got some experience so so it's not
2:14:48 that easy to put just put [ __ ] together
2:14:53 but it took
2:14:56 me nine months no longer than
2:15:01 that it took me a
2:15:03 year it took me a year of
2:15:10 just you know what it felt like for the
2:15:12 first six months when when chat jbt came
2:15:14 out and I started this Tik Tok Channel
2:15:16 and I started the AI salon
2:15:18 and I started a newsletter which has
2:15:21 since kind of gone dormant my my partner
2:15:23 got a big ass job and that was
2:15:27 that it felt
2:15:30 like I was cheating on my
2:15:33 business it felt completely
2:15:38 unrelated and I all I knew was that I
2:15:40 was more excited about what was going on
2:15:43 in AI than anything I'd been excited
2:15:46 about since 1994 with the worldwide
2:15:49 web and and I've been talk about chasing
2:15:52 the
2:15:53 dragon there is there is an addictive
2:15:56 quality
2:15:58 to to being this early to something this
2:16:03 profound and so I've been kind of
2:16:06 chasing that since 1994 that feeling of
2:16:10 holy
2:16:11 [ __ ] you got to see this you got to get
2:16:14 in you got to get it's you're like it's
2:16:17 going to be okay it's going to be all
2:16:19 right I'm just a little itchy it's good
2:16:21 right it's good it's good you like
2:16:23 it it's like the first six months were
2:16:25 just like I was like having this you
2:16:27 know illicit relationship with this
2:16:30 other
2:16:31 technology and it felt like it had
2:16:33 nothing to do with my business and then
2:16:35 the more I learned about that technology
2:16:37 then I started to get really [ __ ]
2:16:39 scared cuz I realized
2:16:42 oh a big part of the value proposition
2:16:45 of Story vine is
2:16:49 automation we call it automagic
2:16:55 editing and no one's going to give a
2:16:57 [ __ ] about
2:16:58 that by the middle of 2024 maybe by the
2:17:01 end of 2024 because everything's going
2:17:03 to be automated everything's going to be
2:17:06 automated I was like [ __ ] does it like
2:17:10 is it
2:17:13 over and then I looked at other pieces
2:17:15 of Story vine and I said oh where about
2:17:18 human beings telling stories I think the
2:17:21 value of that goes up in a world of
2:17:23 infinite content generation
2:17:28 okay and then it's taken me another six
2:17:30 months to kind
2:17:33 of just take this [ __ ]
2:17:36 in and connect someone said it tonight
2:17:38 like oh I'm starting to connect the
2:17:47 dots
2:17:50 and now I'm finally starting to be able
2:17:52 to look at my company our value
2:17:55 proposition our Tech
2:17:58 stack how we deliver
2:18:01 it and go okay I think I know how to put
2:18:06 this [ __ ]
2:18:09 together so like the past three months
2:18:12 have
2:18:13 been you know pitching clients saying
2:18:16 hey we've got cool AI [ __ ]
2:18:18 do you know how much cool AI [ __ ] we had
2:18:23 none we had a PowerPoint slide that I
2:18:26 said look it can do this [ __ ] and might
2:18:28 a zappier
2:18:32 Automation and I'm telling Fortune 500
2:18:35 Pharma companies that we can deliver the
2:18:37 goods why because that's how I've always
2:18:41 operated sell it first if they're
2:18:43 willing to write a check then go build
2:18:46 it so one of our big Cent Pharma clients
2:18:49 wrote us a check they said go build
2:18:53 it and so I went and build it and the
2:18:55 minute the minute I built it I'm like
2:18:57 holy [ __ ] [ __ ] this is cool and so
2:18:59 that led to the to this week where I
2:19:01 said let me just let me blow the doors
2:19:03 off this
2:19:05 thing now how much of that [ __ ] that I
2:19:08 showed you survives I don't
2:19:14 know Drew without you Kyle I'd still be
2:19:17 looking for the water hole in the desert
2:19:19 but you live down under you you're
2:19:21 probably out in the middle of the
2:19:22 Outback with like just the what's the
2:19:24 big rock the Alice the Alice Rock you're
2:19:26 probably just sitting there with a an
2:19:28 armadillo and
2:19:34 a you know but thank
2:19:40 you but it really like it it is it I
2:19:44 mean it is kind of that right now it's
2:19:46 like walk around the [ __ ] Outback and
2:19:50 just flip over rocks and you know hope
2:19:53 there isn't a [ __ ] scorpion under one
2:19:55 and a snake under the other and a
2:19:58 Tasmanian devil chewing your ankle under
2:20:00 the
2:20:09 other lunatick Kyle helped me lead led
2:20:12 me to working confidently with chat GPT
2:20:15 yeah lunatick you're like she's [ __ ]
2:20:18 she's [ __ ] taking the ball and
2:20:19 running with it she's got 50 gpts she's
2:20:23 made in the past month it's amazing so
2:20:29 cool and your Tech Team must hate you
2:20:31 but they're
2:20:32 awesome
2:20:35 um it's funny so we have a we have an
2:20:39 engineer who
2:20:46 is
2:20:48 he and I share a lot in terms of our
2:20:51 [Laughter]
2:20:55 addess he can get some [ __ ] done fast
2:20:57 but if you want it done right or on time
2:21:00 or all that sort of
2:21:04 [ __ ] um but when he gets excited about
2:21:06 something he just goes and [ __ ]
2:21:08 builds
2:21:09 it like the thing that we're being paid
2:21:11 to build for this Pharma company we're
2:21:14 going to overd deliver by a lot
2:21:19 and we're in competition with two major
2:21:22 advertising holding companies who are
2:21:24 not I'm I'm confident are not going to
2:21:27 overd deliver we're going to overd
2:21:30 deliver on time we're going to overd
2:21:31 deliver on features we're going to overd
2:21:33 deliver on [ __ ]
2:21:36 awesomeness and then I'm going to blow
2:21:38 their [ __ ] mind with
2:21:40 translations it's going to be
2:21:45 good oh man idea use Story vine to make
2:21:48 service or manuals in 27 languages yeah
2:21:52 exactly I know so there's something
2:21:56 there there's something there kangaroo a
2:21:59 dingo I got them
2:22:01 all trip over a kangaroo yeah exactly
2:22:05 get punched in the face by a
2:22:08 kangaroo oh
2:22:10 man poor Monique yeah
2:22:14 seriously I mean I'm swelling all on a
2:22:17 tick talk but having me as the CEO of
2:22:19 the company it's
2:22:23 special well and the the reason Monique
2:22:25 is my co-founder is I know that about
2:22:28 myself it's one of the things I learned
2:22:30 doing agency.com
2:22:34 is
2:22:39 that there's just some [ __ ] I'm not good
2:22:42 at like like
2:22:45 fundamentally horrible
2:22:49 at like project management and
2:22:53 consistency and you know but what I did
2:22:56 learn to do there was recognize that
2:22:59 when you surround yourself with
2:23:01 people that
2:23:03 are as passionate as you are about your
2:23:06 [ __ ] about their [ __ ] and if those two
2:23:09 things are very very
2:23:11 different that's a superpower
2:23:15 now here's the challenge with that
2:23:19 Mo'Nique is really good at operations
2:23:21 she's really good at organizing [ __ ]
2:23:23 she's really good at following
2:23:26 through she's not really good at
2:23:28 ideating [ __ ] like she and I have had
2:23:30 had to learn how to it's it's like it's
2:23:33 like intense marriage counseling like
2:23:34 we've had to learn how to
2:23:37 communicate cuz I would walk into her
2:23:39 office and I'd go oh Monique I got an
2:23:41 idea and I'd show her this idea and she
2:23:43 would freak out and shut it down in fact
2:23:45 she nicknamed herself the crusher of
2:23:48 [Laughter]
2:23:51 dreams
2:23:53 and what we learned as we kind of
2:23:57 explored our lack of communication
2:24:00 sometimes
2:24:01 was when I would come in and say oo I
2:24:04 have an idea what she would hear is that
2:24:06 we're changing strategy and she was
2:24:08 worried about making
2:24:11 payroll the next
2:24:15 month and if I got my way and ran down
2:24:18 this Rabbit Hole we're not going to
2:24:20 close business and we're not going to be
2:24:21 able to make
2:24:23 payroll and so I would come in and say
2:24:26 brilliant idea and she would
2:24:29 hear you're [ __ ] up the
2:24:32 business so her response would be no
2:24:36 don't [ __ ] up the business and what I
2:24:38 would hear is Kyle your ideas are shitty
2:24:42 go
2:24:44 away and I would take that [ __ ]
2:24:46 personally
2:24:50 and so we learned we learned how to
2:24:52 communicate like we we actually we
2:24:55 actually came up with a safe
2:24:57 word I would come into her office and
2:24:59 I'd like okay Monique this is just a
2:25:02 fantasy and that that would sort of sort
2:25:04 of lower her thing like okay we're not
2:25:06 CH we're not changing strategy of the
2:25:08 company Kyle's got a brain fart let me
2:25:10 let me hear it
2:25:12 out and so we got better at that but
2:25:16 that's that's why we have a successful
2:25:18 company because if left to my own
2:25:21 devices this story Vine would have been
2:25:23 dead years
2:25:27 ago
2:25:34 crazy Drew's out of here all right I'm
2:25:37 out of here too I got to get out of here
2:25:38 people listen I hope this was good
2:25:41 tonight I know I kind of went really
2:25:43 deep dive on on some of that [ __ ] I
2:25:46 don't I
2:25:47 what I kind of what I've kind of
2:25:49 realized that's been happening on the on
2:25:51 the live
2:25:53 lately
2:25:58 is like especially tonight it kind of
2:26:01 presumed that you were watching the live
2:26:03 for the whole two hours which I know is
2:26:05 a fair amount of you um but if you just
2:26:08 kind of stumbled in here there's a fair
2:26:11 amount of it that probably didn't make
2:26:13 sense so so I'll try to I'll try to work
2:26:16 on the balance of I don't I don't feel
2:26:18 like there's a good way to deal with
2:26:20 that I I just you
2:26:21 know looks great Kyle keep up the good

2:27:15 what was amazing about do all that work
2:27:17 today is like the like the work was hard
2:27:19 like sort of figuring the [ __ ] out like
2:27:21 the mental math of like which things do
2:27:23 I do in what order but then I would get
2:27:25 it done I'm like oh that's [ __ ] cool
2:27:28 oh that's
