60. 12:10Sora. There were two things he pointed out. One was the the the way that they've launched it with the codes where
61. 12:17you have to give someone a code and then they get four codes and they invite four more people in. That does a couple of
62. 12:23things. The first thing it does is it doesn't completely slam their servers overnight. So, like one of the things that NFT launches
63. 12:33were were are famous for is they would build up all this hype and they're like, "We're going to drop the NFT at this time."
64. 12:41And then they'd go to drop the NFT and the site would [ __ ] explode. Um, and so it it completely ruined the
65. 12:48experience. And it was consistent. It was every single time uh it happened. Like I don't think I ever saw an NFT
66. 12:55launch that it didn't happen. And so, and but the same thing happens with something like this where you've
67. 13:01got something that's highly anticipated, people are going to go use it. And if the first thing that it does is crash,
68. 13:06is it kind of ruins the experience. Um, and so, so that's the first thing. And, and then the other thing that that does,
69. 13:14the the giving away the codes thing is it kind of builds community, right? Like I'm going to give it to the people I
70. 13:21want to give it to, and then they're going to give it to the people they want to give it to. So there's an instant
71. 13:25connection of, you know, from those people as as this thing grows and spreads. Um, and then the the cameo feature
72. 13:35itself is pretty brilliant. But but what Kyle Bomber brought up today, which I thought was really good,
73. 13:41they made the conscious decision to let Sam Alman be cameoed by anyone. Like I don't know how long this is going to
74. 13:49last. like there might be a point at which they kind of shut it down, but right now it's wide open. And so what
75. 13:55what it's doing is every time you see one of these crazy videos with Sam Alman in it, you immediately think of Sora,
76. 14:03right? And and the other thing that I think is genius about the cameo feature just in general is that no one is
77. 14:11talking about AI slop. No one's talking about theft of intellectual property other than the fact that right now you
78. 14:19can just make like Rick and Morty knockoffs or like you can copy anything right now. I assume they're because
79. 14:25they're doing 10 sec second clips they're probably going to argue this is all fair use. Um but you can pretty much
80. 14:32do a lot of copyritten stuff in this. Um, so, so people are talking a little bit about that, but they're not talking
81. 14:39about AI slop and and just AI is bad. AI is going to take our jobs. Um, the Sora app is now number one in the app store.
82. 14:51Um, so it seems to be working. So, pretty pretty amazing. I was told that if you use a code that is shared with
83. 14:58you, it automatically connects you to the original owner of that code. Is that true? Probably is true. Is it better to get your own original
84. 15:07code? I don't think so. I don't think it matters. I mean, if it if you get connected to the person that gave you a
85. 15:12code and you don't like them, you can just unfollow them. Um, but frankly, it's it's actually really cool to be connected to people because

174. 33:07then it grabs the transcript or generates a transcript, then it finds the the funniest moments, and it does this this clip thing where
175. 33:17it'll it like marks the in and the out points of the video. And then and then what it should do is it should actually do the editing. So,
176. 33:26the nineup grid, it should be a grid of nine different thumbnails. And then it'll play a video where it's
177. 33:33like here's the the grid of nine and then it zooms in on video one, plays it, that goes back, zooms in on video two,
178. 33:40plays it. It's pretty amazing. So, we'll come back to that. That's that's just off doing its thing. By the way, it
179. 33:47being off doing its thing, this is what's called agentic AI. So, GenSpark is an agentic AI system ecosystem. It's an ecosystem of
180. 33:58apps that go off and do things for you and they can do things for you while you're not there. Um, you can go in and
181. 34:07tell it to do different things while it's working, but it's kind of like watching paint dry. Okay. Now, lovable.
182. 34:16Couple of things. If you're if you're new here, if you've never vibe coded before and you're like, "Hey, hey, Kyle,
183. 34:22listen. Just just a quick question. Just a quick question. Yeah. Hi. Yeah. What's vibe coding? If you don't know what vibe coding is, it
184. 34:33was it was coined by Andre Karpathy about a year ago. Um, and it's basically there's a bunch of tools out there.
185. 34:40Lovable being one of them where you can just talk words like English. You just you just talk your words like you're in the library
186. 34:51and you just tell it what you want and it builds you it codes you an app. Now Lovable's got some restrictions. It's
187. 34:58web apps only so you can't make iOS apps out of it yet. I assume at some point they'll do that. But what Lovable added this week is two
188. 35:10major features that are actually a really big deal. One is called Lovable Cloud and one is called Lovable AI. Um,
189. 35:21if you're not a software developer, when you create an app like a web app like think Salesforce or Slack or you know
190. 35:30all of the sites that we use, Amazon, eBay, the dating sites, all that sort of stuff. You have to build the front end, the
191. 35:40part you interact with. And then there's all this backend stuff you need to build. You need to build a web server or
192. 35:46not build it, but you need to configure it. You need to choose a web server, get a subscription on it, configure it. You
193. 35:54need to create a database. You need to create the fields in the database. You need to connect the database via an API
194. 36:02to your front-end app. you need to do something called authentication. Like when you log in and it asks for your
195. 36:08name and password, that's called authentication. So you need to find an authentication provider and set that up.
196. 36:13If you're doing e-commerce, you need to find e-commerce and set that up. So lovable cloud is all of those things
197. 36:19except the e-commerce part. I assume they're going to be adding that, but it's not in there right now. But it's
198. 36:25got a database, it's got a web server, it's got authentication built in, and it just does it up in the cloud. You don't
199. 36:32have to configure [ __ ] And then lovable AI lets you use Gemini AI components within your app. Meaning you could create a
200. 36:44wrapper app, right? So and and a wrapper app is basically any app that uses like a large language model via API where
201. 36:54you're you're making it do something specific. So you've got chat GPT, right? And then you're sort of putting a
202. 37:00wrapper around it that is now this is going to be Chad GPT but for I don't know uh cook uh like chefs and we're
203. 37:10going to teach them to do cooking [ __ ] or something like that right so so it's a rapper around a core thing
204. 37:17rapper apps got disparaged for a long time because it's like well that's not real software like the real software is
205. 37:23the large language model. Um, there have been some rapper apps that in the past year have sold for more than $3 billion.
206. 37:33Cooking [ __ ] Yes. Love it. Um, I wonder if they add that feature to Will they up the charge to thousands a month?
207. 37:44No. What they'll do, GVO? It sounds sounds like you might be a little bitter there. Might might have been burned by
208. 37:50some of these companies. Listen, here's the deal. If you're going to build if you're going to build an app that you're
209. 37:56going to be charging money for um and you're successful, it's going to cost you a lot because there's a lot of usage, right? But
210. 38:06you've got to figure out how to make money with it. So, if if you create something that gets a lot of usage, um
211. 38:13then yes, they're going to charge you they're going to charge you lots of money. Um but they're not just going to
212. 38:18charge it to have this. what they're banking on is that there are so in the world approximately 1.5% of the
213. 38:29population and I don't know if that's working population or whatever but approximately 1.5 of us are engineers
214. 38:35and coders and [ __ ] like that means 98.5 of us are not that 985% of people are not coders what lovable's banking on is that some
215. 38:51decent percentage of that 98.5% have ideas and they might not have ever learned how to code, but they've got ideas and they
216. 38:59want to start a business or they want to start a SAS or they want to start a whatever and and they always thought it
217. 39:04would be cool, but they didn't have a technical co-founder. Well, now they don't need one. Now, technically, if
218. 39:10you're a coder, I know you're going, "Well, it certainly can't scale. You need an engineer if you want it to
219. 39:15scale." You're correct. But if you want to prototype a business up and actually test it and see if you can get
220. 39:21customers, Lovable's, you know, a good prototyping tool, a good MVP tool. Okay. Um, let's see. Let's see. Let's see. Let's see. Um,
221. 39:36all right. I see mouses flying around. I think we're okay. So, here's the other thing. because they launched this new feature all week this
222. 39:45week all the way through Monday morning you've got unlimited um use of Google Gemini um AI and Nano Banana. So if you
223. 39:58want to put together apps that have AI built into them, you can easily do that. And so, so what we've got to figure out
224. 40:08here tonight is what we want to build. Let's see. How do I want to do this?
