17. 2:50Claude is getting close claude's got some advantages that chat CPT doesn't but just go there start talking to it if you're like but

20. 3:09much more different than the Google box deeper way deeper uh if you go to this thing prompts.chat that will teach you how to talk to that
21. 3:18thing if there's a primer in there and there's sample prompts of like you can tell it to act like certain things
22. 3:25a lot of people also come in here and they're like but Kyle how can I make money with uh with AI and and what I always say is
23. 3:37no I don't say that avoid those people anyone is like give me money won't judge every day no it's I mean you can you can
24. 3:48but it's not about the tool it's about what you do with the tool like any tool so so we can talk about that uh Zach you

30. 4:29background I am an entrepreneur I am a uh the founder and CEO of a company called storyvine which is an automated video
31. 4:37storytelling platform we do a lot of work in healthcare and Pharma it's an 11 year old company our our
32. 4:44automated video platform actually does not use AI to do the video automation the editing automation believe it or not
33. 4:52we did it the old-fashioned way with programming and code um it's not just magically assembled but we're rolling a lot of AI into that
34. 5:02platform and then the other the other thing that that you know is relevant in my background is I was an entrepreneur
35. 5:09in the early days of the World Wide Web so in 1994 I co-founded an agency called agency.com which is one of the very
36. 5:17first digital agencies and the parallels between the early days of the web in the early days of this stuff are insane it's
37. 5:25crazy it's cow cow it's just like it you wouldn't believe it except this is moving faster and it's significantly
38. 5:32more profound in my humble little opinion uh so anyway yeah that's that's what's going on there what else happened
39. 5:38today chat GPT announced chat GPT for enter prize today so they're rolling it out over the next few weeks trying to
40. 5:46get it to as many people as they can there's going to be a self-service version for small business big businesses are going to have whatever
41. 5:53they have uh it's likely going to be more than 20 bucks a person but I'm hoping it's kind of like 30 bucks a
42. 5:59person at least for small companies um it allows uh safety and privacy they're not going to train on your data
43. 6:07they will shortly be rolling out your ability to train on your own data so all of the startups over the last six months
44. 6:14that were like but chat gbt it's really hard to train on your own data so I'm going to make a company to compete with them well
45. 6:22they're gonna just turn that [ __ ] on and uh so you'll be able to train uh chat on your own data it'll be secure
46. 6:30apparently you get API credits so if you're an Enterprise customer you can use the chat GPT front end but you also
47. 6:38get API credits for the back end so interesting fascinating move um someone in my comments asked me to
48. 6:46talk about Watson X which is IBM's entry into this I don't think I saw any super new news it looks like
49. 6:54um the most recent thing they've talked about with Watson X was um about six days ago they announced
50. 7:04a kind of code assistant for Enterprises that kind of specializes in taking Mainframe Cobalt code and converting it to Java which if
51. 7:15you're an Enterprise I.T you still have to find people that know Cobalt just you know like Cobalt was the thing when I
52. 7:22when I was going into college in the in the late 80s and early 90s so uh I think it was tired back then so so that's interesting
53. 7:32um but but you know what's an X in my opinion is is IBM trying to kind of resurrect a brand that was damaged a bit
54. 7:41because with Watson Health that sort of purported to change everything in Ai and then and then didn't really go that well
55. 7:48didn't wasn't a success um so yeah so I don't know if you have any questions about that um yeah Pete Mater Cobalt exactly
56. 7:59like AI it's gonna turn your Cobalt into Java that's some exciting stuff right there boy I'll tell you
57. 8:07although if you're on an I.T group and you're trying to manage some Legacy Cobalt applications fairly not bad
58. 8:15uh so zapier interfaces is now obsolete um yeah although zappier because it connects to other things yeah you know
59. 8:28I I would say the zapier interface this thing is probably still valid I assume you're not talking about Watson x uh I
60. 8:36assume you're talking about uh chat GPT Enterprise uh anyway let me let me jump in and show you oh Siri I I never said that those two words
61. 8:50together that invoked her I didn't do that I didn't do that you were here you listen to me all right so this is
62. 8:57what I was talking about earlier if you're new to this AI stuff uh go to these things go to this top one that's
63. 9:03the official chat GPT website Claude is from a company called anthropic and it has a hundred thousand token context window
64. 9:12so what that means is you can put in really long documents into Claude and interact with them like you could put in a 50 000 word novel
65. 9:20and just start asking questions about it and it'll tell you Bing is Microsoft's entry into this space Bing chat um okay Farmers here
66. 9:31Stevo's here um what else we've got Bard perplexity pie and Poe are also four things that I think are worth exploring Labs not
67. 9:43perplexity lets you play with metaslama 2 models uh that was something that I saw um about Watson X also
68. 9:51is that they announced I don't know two weeks ago no maybe a week ago you're going to be able to um play with llamas llama 2 models on
69. 10:02Watson X so uh they're getting into the open source game or or they're enabling meta to get into the open source game
70. 10:10um or or be hosted on on their platform uh Pi dot AI uh we like to call that here at the AI learning lab chatty GPT
71. 10:18it will talk your little ear off but if you want to have a conversation with an AI and pretend like you're in a Sci-Fi
72. 10:24movie go to pie and put it into voice mode and then poe.com is uh there's lots of bots there you can play with lots of
73. 10:33different models so those are worth playing with then in terms image generation check these bad boys out feel free to
74. 10:40screenshot this it's like it's a little big hang on all right come on come on there you go there you go there you are
75. 10:48all right uh so you got mid-journey which is the best you got idiogram which is brand new and can do text so if you
76. 10:57want to make images with actual text in them that's how this image was made with ideogram and then leonardo.ai and clipdrop are
77. 11:09both stable diffusion prompt book this openart.ai prompt book is a primer that'll teach you how to talk to these
78. 11:16things and then futurepedia.io is a big old directory of AI apps and finally not last last but least uh we have a scammer
79. 11:30and the scammer has stolen all of my content and the name and put two L's in front of learning so if you see someone
80. 11:39that looks like me especially after these lives he tends to reach out to people and say hey I just saw you in the live let me
81. 11:46try to scam your ass so if someone reaches out to you trying to tell you CR sell you crypto [ __ ] or befriend you
82. 11:55um I would say we should have a safe word but the fucker's probably in here so he's gonna know the safe word so
83. 12:02um but you know what's funny he copied all of my videos except for the video where I talk about him huh isn't that funny
84. 12:11anyway I've reported it to tick tock many many times if you're from Tick Tock and you haven't taken it down what the [ __ ] uh
85. 12:20and uh anyway for those of you that have reported him and unfollowed him please thank you for that and and if you uh if
86. 12:28you have followed this person or that person has reached out to you just be really careful and do not buy any

122. 18:01that's an interesting one it's there's certainly a lot of hype here um so so with the World Wide Web
123. 18:10I started agency.com in late 1994 and it wasn't until probably late 97.
124. 18:24that the real hype like the hype train it was like mid to late 97. so in that case it was three years from when it was
125. 18:35kind of simmering and every you know the the the the Geeks were kind of talking about oh this is cool hey you know that
126. 18:42and and you know it was sort of it was like inside baseball I still feel like with this AI stuff we're we're still a
127. 18:48bit in that inside baseball I don't I don't think it's really hit yet for a couple of reasons I think these tools
128. 18:54right now are still very spit and duct tape um you know it was about the time Microsoft decided to go all in on the internet and
129. 19:04and like like there there was there was just a lot more momentum a lot more players now this stuff why AI is is moving faster is
130. 19:15it in 94 we still had to build all of the infrastructure for the internet to take off right in 94 we were still using
131. 19:22dial-up modems 13-inch cathode ray tube monitors um um you know if you were lucky you had a T1 you know internet line into your
132. 19:34business building um just none of the infrastructure was there right so so that took years to get all of that all of that that up and
133. 19:43running um so as as these tools get more sophisticated and more consumer friendly um the infrastructure is already there
134. 19:52right and and it's not even just are these tools gonna get more friendly it's going to be things more like Microsoft
135. 20:01is going to roll chat GPT into office 365. so everyone that uses Microsoft Word is all of a sudden going to have
136. 20:08that button that says write it for me and so people that don't even really know what chat GPT is are going to start
137. 20:15using that little button right Ethan Malik did a piece on that as well like are you going to push the button when
138. 20:20these when these things are in all of the tools that we use are you going to push the button and does it matter if you did
139. 20:30is it more important for you to take two hours to craft that recommendation email for that student to get them the job
140. 20:36or if you press the button and it was done in 30 seconds and they get the job is that the goal which one's the goal um so I think what else
141. 20:52are we in a bubble I don't think so I don't think we are yet um I think it's very very hyped um I think it I think I think there's
142. 21:03more awareness of this so Chachi PT got to 100 million users in six weeks the World Wide Web it took six years
143. 21:11six years to 100 million users for the World Wide Web six weeks for that tool fastest adoption of software in history um
144. 21:22so I think the adoptions dramatically quicker I think the tools are dramatically more powerful I think it's gonna be next year I think
145. 21:37it's there's gonna be some combination of the 2024 election here in the states the presidential election there's going to
146. 21:45be a lot of AI generated crap I think that's going to make the news and so people are going to start talking about it more um
147. 21:54I mean we're we're still kind of in this phase they're still kind of in this phase

149. 22:18yeah oh but I've never heard it around I've never heard it said I don't even see it in the mark but never heard it

154. 23:06think a lot of people have heard of AI but most people assume that you know AI means the robots are gonna kill us
155. 23:13because that's what Hollywood's told us um now I think it's gonna be late next year early 2025 I think it's gonna get frothy
156. 23:25and insane and I think it's I and I think it's like the uh the markers are gonna be things like they're gonna
157. 23:33there's gonna be either big news about good things that have happened or bad things that have happened or layoffs that happen um

159. 23:52um and what's what's Curious to me is yeah it's hyped it might be over hyped it might be under hyped right I think
160. 24:02that these things are what they do and what they are are profound on a pretty deep level they change the way we
161. 24:09interact with computers fundamentally they fundamentally alter how Engineers deal with computers how human beings
162. 24:16deal with computers how business people deal with computers um we can't see it yet because they're often these crappy tools off in the
163. 24:23corner but as these things sort of assimilate into the the sort of fabric of all the tools we use um I think that it's going to be pretty
164. 24:31profound so so really fascinating meta AI released a new translation demo oh interesting did they need to go see that meta
165. 24:42hey oh yeah that was yesterday wasn't it translation seamless m4t meta has created an AI model seamless m4t that can translate

173. 26:17to someone talk to you in whatever their language is translates it to you you talk back to them in in my case in
174. 26:24English and their little earbud will translate it back to them like those this is the foundation for those kind of
175. 26:29tools like all those star treky kind of things that when we were kids we were like yeah that's never going to happen
176. 26:34in our lifetime uh [ __ ] yes it is right now like it happens with text right now you can I can do like even in here if someone
177. 26:45gives me a comment in the in the text I can literally just hold it down and it translates it good enough that I can
178. 26:51read it it's not that weird janky-ass translation of your remember like five years ago when translation and transcription sucks so

193. 29:02so anyway uh yeah Gemini and then what else did you do that impressed the [ __ ] out of me style drop if style drop is in what you're

473. 1:15:08they're calling it for Enterprise that says to me that they've got their [ __ ] together if it were like chat GPT for
