7. 1:33nonsense has been quiet for like 2 days although David Shapiro put out a video that kind of shed some light on on uh
8. 1:46maybe some of the stuff that happened with open AI making big breakthroughs in AGI which is cuckoo it's just cuckoo basically David Shapiro
9. 2:00the the the uh what what he basically uncovered is is some version of they've cracked all of cry cryptography and everything
10. 2:14else they got they got it to do math 100% correct which even though it's a really simple they did it at a grade
11. 2:21school level the fact that it did it 100% correct is a huge deal because it basically means that uh the AI is
12. 2:32reasoning and then they talked about this thing called qar and qar is the
13. 2:52model let's see all right let's see welcome everybody

40. 7:57how we like to roll here we we uh we we make it up as we go um I like talking about this generative AI stuff doing what I can to
41. 8:07educate and inspire people to get curious about this stuff all right there we

43. 8:33[ __ ] I've found um my latest two videos on my channel are a a new feature from hey Jen called avatars which are [ __ ] insane you
44. 8:45upload like a 2 to three minute video of yourself and then you it turns that into an avatar like complete like with me I talk
45. 8:55with my hands a lot so there's a lot of this going on so it synthesizes all of that and then you just type in words and
46. 9:02it makes it sound like you and it makes it look like you and like all my little wrinkly forehead [ __ ] when I'm
47. 9:08having talks are there so I can show you that stuff as well um but yeah and we can talk about Q I mean sorry qar Q is a whole different
48. 9:23thing qar is different than than that other stuff um qar is a it's basically an evolved
49. 9:37um process from game uh AI game machine learning G machine learning for gaming uh where the AI is sort of
50. 9:51learning its path basically so it's a modified version of that but I'll I'll I'll give you some history on it um maybe I should start with
51. 10:02that it seems a little heavy but but screw it okay so last Friday a week ago today holy [ __ ] it's like a year
52. 10:15happened a year ago today the board of open AI fired Sam Altman if you were not paying attention if you somehow missed
53. 10:23that um if you're on this channel I assume you're somewhat into Ai and if you missed that that that was a biggie
54. 10:29CH bear thank you so much I love that one um so they fired Sam Alman they demoted Greg Brockman from chairman to just
55. 10:39employee and then he quit they appointed Mira moradi the CTO uh interim CEO um nobody knew why there were all sorts
56. 10:53of rumors it was Ilia Ilia wanted to move slower Sam wanted to move faster they gotten a tiff then Saturday it looked like they
57. 11:04were trying to hire Sam back and then the employees were not none too happy with what was going on and then Saturday night Saturday
58. 11:15night they said uh they had hired uh EMT Shear um who who was a who who uh oh [ __ ] where the hell was he oh he was at
59. 11:28twitch he was the CEO of twitch and he's sort of famous for saying he wanted to slow AI down so that sort of fueled more of the rumors that
60. 11:38it was the fast the fast people versus the slow people then on Sunday there were more rumors that they were going to bring Sam back and uh
61. 11:51then and then those talks fell apart then uh then Monday Microsoft said good news we've hired Sam and Greg and the
62. 12:01top three researchers from open AI then 97 or 98% of the open AI employees said we're going to quit and follow Sam wherever he goes if
63. 12:16you don't if the board doesn't resign and then Tuesday and then they started negotiating on Monday and then they it
64. 12:23seems like they they got to a a a an agreement in principle on Tuesday um that they're going to work it out and
65. 12:35uh Larry Summers and the guy that used to run the hell did he run oh I forget I don't know one of the big tech companies are going to be on
66. 12:48the board along with Adam D'Angelo which which there was rumors that Adam Adam D'Angelo was the only former board
67. 12:55member to survive the shakeup basically there were rumors that he was the bad guy I guess not Sam Alman put out a
68. 13:03thing saying he and Adam D'Angelo had Thanksgiving dinner together yesterday so okay so that was the drama and what everyone was trying to
69. 13:15figure out was what why why the urgency like what happened what happened and so there were rumors that they internally
70. 13:25achieved AGI at open AI now if you know what AGI is it stands for artificial general intelligence it's the point at
71. 13:33which and it's it's open ai's whole mission is to achieve AGI and the the way the open AI is structured is that it's a nonprofit that
72. 13:47controls a what's called a capped for-profit that they invented which basically is you can invest in it and
73. 13:55you can make money back but after a certain point all of that money has to go back to the to the nonprofit which is going to be funneled to
74. 14:03humanity and so that's that's why this weird sort of non- busy board had so much power and and and so so they didn't
75. 14:13know was it egos was it personal [ __ ] was it did they achieve AGI so it's since come out Reuters has
76. 14:22has reported on and the information uh out of silicon Val reported on there was a letter sent from staff to the
77. 14:34board that said that they had made a big breakthrough using this thing called qar um and what it what it appears to be
78. 14:44is that qar from what I can gather is not the large language model it kind of sits on top of it you got your large
79. 14:51language model down here and qar is the thing kind of um doing reinforcement learning for the large language model
80. 14:58and so so Q qar kind of works like this great hang on let me get this all all right so so you got this here
81. 15:11thing all right and again this is I have a degree in [ __ ] acting people so if you're expecting a mathematician here
82. 15:20back off um so in this Center you have your beginning State and like up here you have your go right you're you're trying to get from here to
83. 15:31here and you have your beginning State you know what your goal is and so so you have the The Little Numbers here it's Q
84. 15:40which stands for I think it's quality then you have S1 A1 State one action one so given this state the the large language model can
85. 15:54take some amount of actions right it predicts okay given this state and this goal here are the three actions I could take and it
86. 16:03takes one of those actions and then what this thing does what what qar does is it basically gives it a score does it did
87. 16:13it go up or did it go down and it it actually kind of reminds me of um if if you if you've ever learned anything
88. 16:21about card counting in blackjack you know the thing where it's like if there's face cards like a 10 or face
89. 16:28cards at it's a plus one and if there's these cards it's a neutral and if it's these cards it's a minus one and and
90. 16:33they're sort of keeping track of you know is is the uh is the deck stacked basically so it's kind of like that so
91. 16:41so it takes an action and then this thing says hey was that action you know good or bad and if it was good it gives
92. 16:47it a plus number if it was bad it gives it a minus number and then it puts it into a new state which is state two and
93. 16:53then given state two it's got some other actions it can take and it takes that action and then it gets a a score and
94. 16:59then it goes to state three and then it goes to State four and this kind of looks like a star so I think that's why
95. 17:03it's called qar This is based on some math called AAR um and then the David Shapiro thing so there's there's two two videos from
96. 17:13David Shapiro um the first one is what is qar speculation on how open AI stuff works um but but basically okay so so
97. 17:25let's say the beginning state is this lower left hand corner here's your starting point and then the upper right
98. 17:32hand corner is this little Green Dot and you're trying to get to that upper right hand corner right and so given this
99. 17:38state you can take some amount of actions and it takes an action and then it gets scored and then it takes another
100. 17:44action and so it's basically taking the highest probability action until it hits a block and around here it realizes oh
101. 17:52I'm not going to be able to go straight to that thing so I'm going to try some other actions and based on its score it
102. 17:58starts diverting around this obstacle and then ultimately gets to the goal so so it's basically learning in real time
103. 18:08and it's prompting itself in real time to take a series of actions to get to that goal open AI defines AGI as um an autonomous
104. 18:21system right so this is you don't have to prompt this it's prompting itself and then it's scoring it self based on you
105. 18:30know is it getting closer or farther away from the goal and it basically just keeps doing it until it gets there so
106. 18:36it's an autonomous system um that surpasses humans and how do they put it at most economically valuable tasks or work or
107. 18:49something like that um so that's what qar is and so apparently they put they they Ed whatever version of this that
108. 18:59they came up with on a small model with very low-level math like grade school math historically they've been able to
109. 19:09get large language models they've improved them with fine tuning they've gotten them to 70% or 80% I think sometimes even 90% but this thing
110. 19:17apparently got it to 100% And so once you're at 100% on math problems the thing is doing reasoning effectively and that's kind of what
111. 19:28Shapiro talks about here and and the uh the video that I would recommend you go watch I I would recommend both of these
112. 19:36actually so so David Shapiro his his uh his YouTube channel is Dave shap d a s ha A P um watch the video on what is Q
113. 19:49and then watch the video on Q or uh qar qar is bigger than you think um possibly much bigger and and then he says AGI is
114. 19:59definitely near David Shapiro is also the guy that says um let's see where is it I don't have it
115. 20:18here um he did a video 18 months ago called AGI in 18 months and then he did a follow-up month video he did a
116. 20:27follow-up video about a month ago called AGI in 12 months so he he is absolutely of the mind that we're going to hit AGI
117. 20:36he's written like who is that guy he's written five books on AGI he's got a big cognitive architecture open- source
118. 20:43project right now to build an open- Source uh cognitive architecture for AGI using whatever Technologies come out um
119. 20:51so he knows a [ __ ] so those two those two videos bigger than you think and what is Q are are worth you watching if
120. 20:59you want to understand you know what could have possibly happened that freaked everyone out enough that they
121. 21:05fired Sam mman knowing that it would be a [ __ ] show so crazy CRA isn't it cza isn't it so cza thank you Donald Alman it's so
122. 21:20CA C that's so cra that's CRA did so the computers are smart that's so crazy that's crazy kle hey K do do do
123. 21:36you think do you think they have feelings KY all right thank you very much ticktock hat Hey Ron how are you good to see you
124. 21:53sir Sam Alman said in his New York Times interview that AGI is a dumb name for it yeah so is artificial
125. 22:01intelligence but what are you going to do um what do you think happened I don't know I'm just listen this this channel
126. 22:13this channel for the past week became chat TMZ um the only thing I'm doing at this point is speculating um although it does
127. 22:23seem like there's there's actual reporting that said that some sort of letter was sent to to the open AI
128. 22:31board that said something about making some sort of [ __ ] progress and then Sam Alman got fired so there there is a reported SE chain of
129. 22:40events um but there are enough um there are enough plausible conspiracy theories that that it's just at this point I don't know
130. 22:53um the the why the why this is a big deal if you go look at open ai's Charter One of the things in the charter
131. 23:05is a open AI gets to to determine when they've achieved AGI and when they achieve AGI the licensing deal with Microsoft does not
132. 23:19apply to it so you got chat GPT 4 you now have chat GPT 4.5 this multimodal thing that we get to play with if you
133. 23:27have played with the new chat gpct it's it's remarkable Microsoft's got full licensing whatever their deal is their
134. 23:37licensing deal is for their $10 billion investment that's all on the table right the minute open AI declares we've got
135. 23:46AGI the technology from that point forward is no longer part of the deal because the the the goal of the
136. 23:59nonprofit of open AI is to achieve a a AGI and make it um for the benefit of humanity so so if they've actually hit
137. 24:11it or if they're within you know spitting distance of hitting it um it's it's a very very significant thing commercially it's a very very
138. 24:20significant thing for the nonprofit it's a very very significant thing for the for Humanity if you go watch the David Shapiro one on
139. 24:30why this is a big deal um one of the things that he basically there's sort of some hints of there there was a there was a Q and
140. 24:41on or not a Q andon There was a uh a forchan there was a letter posted to forchan a redacted letter posted to
141. 24:48forchan which is what David talks about in that that last video that basically says that that what they've what they've what they've been
142. 25:02able to do is crack um 192bit cryptography which if that's true that's a big
143. 25:18deal cuz 192-bit cry cryptography is not supposed to be able to be cracked like with with the world's fastest
144. 25:25supercomputers it's like DEC AES to crack you know one encrypted message and apparently whatever however this thing's
145. 25:34doing what it's doing it's done stuff like that now that is total [ __ ] speculation it was on 4chan it's
146. 25:41possible that someone just made that [ __ ] up but David Shapiro like goes through the letter that was posted to
147. 25:47forchan pulls up white papers that were doing similar kind of research so you know again listen to him not me and and
148. 25:55just just pay attention to the space like there's nothing we can do about it we can just keep making our
149. 26:01gpts I did a really cool GPT today so so a buddy of mine called me up that I'm working with and he said he's got a
150. 26:09friend who works for a government agency and the government agency passed a law in 2016 to completely revamp how they do what they
151. 26:22do and so it's it's taken them years to start rolling this out and it's finally rolling out they've built the Technologies the
152. 26:30da and there's this one woman that he knows that she's she's like the woman that knows everything about this
153. 26:38transition and so all she does all day is people call her up and ask her questions well when's this going to
154. 26:44happen when's that going to happen what am I supposed to do so I talked to him for about 5 minutes he gave me the the URL for the
155. 26:54government agency for this transition project and he gave me three different transcripts from Workshop she she did
156. 27:04and I tossed it into a GPT and I basically made a virtual her that that reads from the website of this government agency here's all the
157. 27:15latest [ __ ] on this transition uses her tone of voice and you can basically ask it anything about this massive
158. 27:22government thing [ __ ] astounding so I did that today so it's just crazy it's kza it's kza K it's kza oh oh hey Mark

160. 27:55cuz there was AAR and a stood for probably action and this is qar I think Q stands for I think he said
161. 28:02quality but basically the Q is the score of is it doing good or is it doing bad like here's my possible actions I take
162. 28:11an action it gets scored good or bad you know mathematically and then the Q score changes right so I think it's the
163. 28:19quality like the quality of its path basically again I could be very wrong people I could be very wrong there's
164. 28:31there could be mathematicians in here right now going he's a [ __ ] idiot he doesn't know [ __ ] people are listening to
165. 28:39him what's he an ex actor good God so if that's happening that could be in the comments right now so if you're
166. 28:48in there trolling me in the comments good good on ye mate use that Stanford degree co-pilot has feel Coop copilot is just Sydney is is very

170. 29:41that with a uh a flight attendant on a British Airways flight we we we got British Airways as a client when I was doing agency.com back
171. 29:52in the 90s and so we flew for free right and what I didn't know is that when you fly for free like everyone all the
172. 30:04flight attendants on the flight know that and they like on your boarding pass is whatever codes that tell you that you
173. 30:11know you're an employee of British Airways or whatever it is and so I forget what I was wearing I was wearing jeans I I was wearing jeans
174. 30:20I was sitting in first class British Airway first class which is good and I was wearing jeans with a you know a nice shirt and a jacket I
175. 30:29didn't look like a total [ __ ] up she and so I got up to go to the bathroom and she goes oh ra very good to see you she
176. 30:39goes she goes yes so what do you do and she was asking me what I did and I said oh I work for this company and
177. 30:44then and and she said oh rather very interesting and I thought she was totally like you know excited about what
178. 30:51I did for a living so I'm going on and she goes she goes yes yes well normally if we if we're going to fly you know on
179. 31:00whatever the free ticket was she she goes normally if if we're doing this and we're going to sit in in we're going to
180. 31:08board the plane or whatever she goes normally we like to wear smart pants she totally just slapped me
181. 31:17down oh man I thought I thought I was uh I thought she was all excited about what I did and then she was just like you
182. 31:25[ __ ] schlub dress nice you [ __ ] American pretty much what pretty much what she said chat gp5 exploded Elon is in the news wrote a
183. 31:39letter demanding open AI formally announced they've achieved a breakthrough yeah you know I mean I know I know Elon is is pissed
184. 31:49about what they did they were supposed to be open but at this point he's a direct competitor of them so Elon Elon
185. 31:56sort of when a little bit of scorched Earth with Sam when when it when it wasn't clear that they had worked things
186. 32:03out Elon sent a letter from like five years ago like here's something Sam did so I just Elon right now is I don't disagree with him if they
187. 32:14have discovered something we should know about it we should absolutely [ __ ] know what happened on Friday that got Sam fired I agree with
188. 32:23that but I just elon's motives right now because he's got a competitive company and and he's him is you
189. 32:31know he's also the one that called for a six-month pause on AI research and then a week later ordered 10,000 gpus to
190. 32:41start up his AI competitor to open AI so so I just I I I don't trust a guy on on some of those issues you know is he
191. 32:52going to get [ __ ] done absolutely and apparently by the way grock is supposed to launch next week for Twitter premium the $16 a month
192. 33:06Twitter it's supposed to launch next week integrated into Twitter into X so in your little sidebar where you've got
193. 33:14like notifications and [ __ ] like that you're going to have a large language model that that pulls um Twitter data
194. 33:24into the answers so that should be next week cuz why would we want a week off where something dramatic isn't [Laughter] happening
195. 33:37H if in fact they did I'm diving into AI big time over break and mighty networks awesome forever hooked yeah let me show

212. 36:16pants which as an American I didn't know what a smart pant was I knew what a trouser was but but it was very clear to me that
213. 36:24whatever I was wearing were not smart in any [Laughter] way uh I don't care if Elon is launching ask GES I a paying for

215. 36:48see that thing yeah so so this was this was just notes I took from the uh developer day um so so all the bullet
216. 36:57points down here are what was announced 2 weeks ago on Monday um they're they're not all that that relevant but so if you don't know chat
217. 37:09GPT is like a consumer application it was developed using open AIS apis and that's what the developer playground is platform. open.com
218. 37:22playground that's where the developers go and play you can go there and you can use the developer playground kind of
219. 37:29like you use chat GPT and you can even make things that are kind of like the GPT agents it's a thing called an assistant
220. 37:36model um and there's all sorts of switches and dials back there so if you want to learn about how this [ __ ]
221. 37:42actually works and and what you can kind of tweak there's documentation on how the AP apis work and all sorts of [ __ ]
222. 37:49you can do back there but that's that so anyway but if you're just new to this stuff don't worry about that one just go
223. 37:54to that one that's I had that sort of covered up on purpose but that's fine um okay so get ready now to I'm going to
224. 38:01I'm going to go through some things really quickly and then I'm going to talk about the AI Salon um so get ready to do some
225. 38:07screenshotting so I'm I'm just going to go through a series of screens that that I think these are things that I think
226. 38:14are worth you paying attention to if you want okay why do I go live every night here for multiple hours because I think it's
227. 38:25really important that all of us get as curious as possible about what's happening what are these tools what do
228. 38:30they make possible what are they good at what are they not good at so everything I'm about to show you are things that I think are
229. 38:38worth you getting curious about they're they're worth you putting time into just to understand what's coming there are
230. 38:46thousands of these things and and quite frankly chat GPT at this point is not just a single tool it's about seven or
231. 38:54eight different tools it's seven genate different modes of working each one of which is a a whole rabbit rabbit hole into it into itself
232. 39:05so if you did nothing else but spend time on chat GPT um you you you couldn't exhaust it but last Friday was evidence that if we
233. 39:18get too reliant on any single tool and something happens to that tool like O say the company explodes which it almost
234. 39:26did narrowly avoided um you should probably know what your options are so the kind of top four after chat GPT are
235. 39:32Claude grock Bard and co-pilot so Claude um they actually tried to the open AI board tried to merge with Claude and get
236. 39:41the CEO of Claude to run open AI that was on Saturday um uh it's a bunch of xop AI people and Claude is is probably
237. 39:50the the most direct competitor right now to chat GPT grock like I said looks like it's launching next week um Bard is
238. 40:00Google's uh chat GPT competitor it's not as good but as of I think last week it's now got all of YouTube indexed in it so

306. 51:02different oh my God it's one of those I was I I had a similar Epiphany in 1994 with the worldwide web and so when I had that same kind of
307. 51:13epiphany with with this AI stuff like ien I haven't had one since and uh and I didn't think I'd have one in my life
308. 51:20again and then when I saw chat GPT I realized oh like everything's different no one knows yet but everything's
309. 51:26changed and so I put together the AI Salon as a way to surround myself with people that were geeking out on this
310. 51:34stuff and we curious about it and trying to figure it out and and you know recognizing that the launch of chat GPT marks a new
311. 51:44era in AI before chat GPT it really was for mathematicians and researchers and scientists chat GPT basically made the
312. 51:55power of machine learning and artificial intelligence and neural networks available to the rest of us and that's
313. 52:01kind of what this Channel's about and that's that's what the salon's about and so the little um the little text down
314. 52:07here at the bottom we're also geeky we're we're nerds man we're Nery um the AI Salon is a rag tag group of Misfits

331. 54:18it like you can now generative AI is the same way right you can get a degree in machine learning in artificial
332. 54:26intelligence but whatever this thing is this generative AI that that chat GPT and the you know mid journey and stable
333. 54:33diffusion all these image generation tools all this stuff that's this generative AI stuff that we get to play
334. 54:38with how do you how do you play with that in your business when it when it potentially disrupts your entire
335. 54:44business so we want people that are inclusive and the last one is empathy we want people that recognize that this is
336. 54:52scary for a lot of people and um and people are going to be scared people are going to be angry and so I want a
337. 55:01group of people that like give a [ __ ] about one another and and don't just come in and kind of blast everyone a new
338. 55:06[ __ ] cuz they didn't you know they don't understand some math equation right because it's not about that it's
339. 55:13about people it's about connecting it's about community so if you resonate with those values then come [ __ ] join us and if

363. 58:41introduced GPT Vision where it could see and they introduced Dolly 3 where it could do images in the context of a chat
364. 58:49and they introduced code interpreter that was there for for a bit and then two weeks ago they rolled those all
365. 58:57together into this single tool called chat GPT it's a completely different tool than it was a month ago and now it looks like you know now
366. 59:07they fired Sam Alman and rehired him and fired him and rehired him and fired him and rehired him whatever the [ __ ] happened over that
367. 59:14weekend and so so it looks like it's going to change again and next week we get grock which is the the Twitter version of chat
368. 59:26GPT and at some point in January or February we're going to get Google's Gemini which is supposed to be some big
369. 59:34ass thing so it just it's all changing all the time and so this channel is really just like me like trying to [ __ ] figure it

384. 1:01:51human beings think like I can't do that I'm not an engineer I can't do engineering and it's not that oh lunar

398. 1:03:52parroting probability machine [ __ ] Technically she's correct but she clearly hasn't used it technically what Chad GPT is is a fancy
399. 1:04:07calculator it's what it is it's not sensient it doesn't have Consciousness it doesn't even know what it's [ __ ]
400. 1:04:17typing but that doesn't mean it's not absolute [ __ ] magic what does and it's beyond magic it's profoundly
401. 1:04:27powerful there are so many groups that share prompts and you fill in the blanks to learn yeah and be not afraid I mean
402. 1:04:34the other thing that's going to happen is and it and it's starting to happen with the gpts is when you make a
403. 1:04:46GPT you're not actually writing your prompt you can you can go in the back end and if you're a good prompt engineer you can
404. 1:04:54prompt engineer your GPT but that's not the way they built them how they built them was you say I want a GPT that gives me um comfort food
405. 1:05:07recipes and I'm going to upload a PDF of my grandma's recipes from the 1940s cuz I come from a long line of white trash stock and and
406. 1:05:25it does all the prompting it builds you that bot and even though it shows you the prompt that it wrote it's not showing
407. 1:05:33you the whole prompt it's doing a lot of engineering on the back it's it's doing a lot of prompt engineering without you
408. 1:05:38having to do it and what they're talking about with qar with this with this this gamification engine that's sitting on
409. 1:05:46top of this large language model that seems to be they seem to have some version of it that's a breakthrough it's prompting itself it's an
410. 1:05:57autonomous system autonomous doesn't require you to prompt [ __ ] it per it it requires you to give it a goal and then it's going to go
411. 1:06:08do it on on its own I consistently get 60 to 80% of the copy I want to write with round tripping text prompts 90% yeah so yeah so round
412. 1:06:19tripping so so you can do round tripping with text prompts as well yeah that's really good good point um when you do something with chat GPT
413. 1:06:28if it gives you something that's a piece of [ __ ] tell it it's a piece of [ __ ] or even say hey chat GPT look at what you
414. 1:06:36wrote and tell me how you'd improve it and then it'll tell you how it would improve it and then you go okay improve
415. 1:06:43it and it will it's amazing it's amazing looks at life stating the obvious The Tick Tock dumpster

426. 1:08:48available to everyone right now because when they announced all the new features on their Dev day two weeks ago um
427. 1:08:58they their servers got buried and so they're apparently scaling them up now some of the conspiracy theories are is
428. 1:09:06that it had something to do with the uh with the uh them achieving AGI I I doubt it's that I have a feeling it's just their
429. 1:09:16servers got hammered but um I don't think they're accepting new chat gp4 memberships um there are people selling their
430. 1:09:28gp4 um uh accounts on eBay though so so you can go to eBay and overpay for someone else's gp4 um the 20 bucks a month that that
431. 1:09:41gp4 is at open AI is is like it's the easiest 20 bucks I'll ever spend like what this thing does is absolutely
432. 1:09:52remarkable um all right so let's uh let's just let's just go in so so let me give you a little bit of primer on on
433. 1:10:02just prompting in general so in general with prompting it's unlike a Google search where you just want to put in one thing
434. 1:10:13and get back all the answers chat jpt does better if it has more context so if you give it more information it does better and as weird
435. 1:10:23as it sounds if you give it a roll if you say hey I want you to be an expert on blank it gets better at that so let's see I want you
436. 1:10:39to act as an expert on the Department of Housing and Urban Development and help me understand the new legislation that's going to
437. 1:10:51modernize the organization period I want to understand what are the key deadlines in the coming six months
438. 1:11:05and what I need to do to prepare for that period is that something you can help me with so sometimes when I when I when I prompt
439. 1:11:17on here I'll say please and thank you and then sometimes I'll say things like do you understand or is that something
440. 1:11:23you can help me with and people make fun of me but what what you find when you work with chat GPT is that it it talks a lot like a remote
441. 1:11:35employee so it's kind of like you're working with a person and it's also infinitely patient um infinitely smart and
442. 1:11:44um some of the research is showing that the more nice you are to it for lack of a a better term um the better it is like it
443. 1:11:56it actually gets better so I find myself thanking it I'm like oh great job yeah I love that one doing things like that uh
444. 1:12:03and it apparently does good okay so let's see so it gave me a lot of stuff here so um new actions so the
445. 1:12:15FTC is going to collect information blue blueprint for renters Bill of Rights resident centered hous housing challenge
446. 1:12:24housing opportunities through modernization act hotma the effective date is January 1st 2024 so this is the
447. 1:12:33thing that's coming preparations for adaptation um you'll also notice you you might have noticed when I when I asked
448. 1:12:41it it went off and it started searching Bing it started searching the internet so a lot of this information it went to
449. 1:12:47the internet and found um it's not just relying on what's in its model um so so let me see let me try a thing here give me a table that
450. 1:13:03compares the way things were run before and how they will be run under hotma not hot mama hotma so if you've never seen it make a
451. 1:13:18table before it can make tables comparing concept steps so income inclusion before hotma different rules for income calculation after
452. 1:13:31clarification on the rules foster children and adults so it's doing this back and forth so now one of the things
453. 1:13:37I could do with roundt tripping is I could now say to chat GPT oh and by the way the when I'm hitting this thing and it's it's
454. 1:13:45translating it's transcribing my voice and I'm talking that's not chat GPT it can do that on the on the IOS app this
455. 1:13:52is just a a Macintosh accessibility thing so you don't have to watch me type um but what I'm going to say for
456. 1:14:01the round tripping thing is I'm going to say that's great can you analyze what you put in the table and suggest ways to improve the
457. 1:14:14information that's there analyzing a comparison table more specific examples quantitative analysis clarification on implementation
458. 1:14:27challenges impact assessment Pol policy context so it's giving me lots of ideas so it says by enhancing the table
