3:44 to make gpts for nonprofits it's really
3:47 cool so we we just came up with it two
3:51 nights ago it was sort of a a fever
3:53 dream two nights ago on a live and I and
3:57 as I thought about it I'm like oh let's
3:58 do this for nonprofits and and then I
4:00 thought oh let's get Ann involved and
4:02 she loved it so so uh I was I was trying
4:05 to sleep most of the day she did some
4:07 work on it today so I don't have a ton
4:08 of detail but I do have a save the date
4:11 for you and a hashtag so that's
4:13 exciting um what else
4:17 uh if you're new here if you're brand

5:17 what they're doing everyone's going to
5:19 be trying to figure it out and we're
5:21 early and when you're early that means
5:23 that if you start geeking out on this
5:25 stuff and start telling your friends
5:27 about it your friends are like you're a
5:28 weirdo or if you're home with your
5:30 family right now and they're like you
5:32 know Sally Sally seriously now could I
5:36 can we just have a serious conversation
5:38 um I don't want to hear about AI anymore
5:41 okay I'm done I'm I'm I'm really happy
5:44 for you that you're excited about this
5:46 AI thing but I'm fairly confident the
5:49 robots are going to kill us and I I just
5:51 think it's going to bring everything
5:52 down so if you have some of that voice
5:55 going on give them empathy they're just
5:57 scared Hollywood told them that they
5:59 should be be scared of this [ __ ] uh but
6:01 I have a community for you and it is the
6:05 the AI salon and so um how you get to
6:08 the AI Salon actually let me tell you

7:39 does if you've never used it before

7:44 have used it before but you haven't used

7:47 that's like fancy Google it's way more
7:48 than fancy Google all right and then um
7:52 just go there and start playing
7:55 and if you have the 20 bucks a month I
7:58 would strongly recommend
8:00 paying the 20 bucks to chat GPT for chat
8:03 GPT plus which is chat GPT
8:08 4 why am I saying that oh well probably
8:12 because you're getting a kickback I I
8:14 heard that I heard that uh they've got
8:16 they've got people out there Shilling
8:18 for their operation no no no I don't get
8:21 paid for this um chat gb4 is like the
8:26 best deal in software right now in my
8:28 opinion and if you go to the AI Salon
8:31 site and you go to this um tools and
8:34 resources section um here are all the
8:36 things that are included in chat GPT 4
8:39 it's a lot they're they're sort of basic
8:41 chat GPT but it's better than um GPT 3.5
8:46 and as of last night it got really fast
8:48 it used to be very very slow but all of
8:50 a sudden it's wicked fast so I don't
8:52 know if it's still like that but that
8:54 was pretty impressive it's got this
8:55 thing called custom instructions where
8:57 you can give it a personality it's got
8:59 access to the internet you can do data
9:01 analysis with it it can analyze images
9:05 it can generate images um you can talk
9:08 to it and and then you can even create
9:12 and share these things called custom
9:15 gpts and gpts are like personalized
9:18 versions of chat GPT hey I'm trying to
9:21 get to the
9:22 salon website would you give me the URL
9:25 again of course the salon. you can also
9:28 go to a salon.
9:32 mn. uh that for Mighty networks Mighty
9:34 network.co or just go to the salon. and
9:37 the first link there is um is for the
9:42 mighty networks and then when you get to

9:47 to check out four things I want you to
9:48 check out one is this this page um AI
9:52 tools and resources and because there's
9:54 lots like if you want some rabbit holes
9:56 to run down between Christmas and New

11:04 where what happens on these lives is

11:18 in here and act like a silly goose and
11:19 then people you know will kind of jam
11:21 and make images and and share them in
11:23 here and then they share things with
11:25 each other there's a lot of Christmas
11:26 stuff in here right now that one's
11:27 pretty nice Sher d oh yeah nice Santa
11:31 stuck in a chimney that's beautiful
11:35 though nice nice brush
11:39 work and uh and lately people have been
11:42 sharing videos they've been sharing
11:44 songs it's it's really cool they'll
11:46 share
11:48 gpts all right so that's the AI salon so

11:52 that go to chat GPT if you haven't
11:55 played with it before if you've got GPT
11:58 4 go make some
12:00 images um you could make images for the
12:04 for the for this channel for the AI
12:06 learning lab
12:08 with we have a little zoo and our our
12:11 Zoo
12:13 includes it includes llamas and turtles
12:17 and hedgehogs and gummy bears and blue
12:19 rubber duckies and then Apple just came
12:21 out with one there's a new thing that
12:23 Apple just did that's got an animal for
12:25 it so anyway you can go you can go make
12:27 animals animals for the AI salon
12:29 the uh the animal that I chose or the
12:33 the image that I
12:35 chose to kick us off I think this is
12:38 from Danielle yeah it's from Danielle
12:39 well it's a little owl looking thing but
12:41 I think it's supposed to be a hedgehog
12:43 blue rubber ducky look it's very
12:47 festive it's not the best um yeah go do
12:52 that okay now next Saturday what are you

13:02 hours cuz cuz we know how to make good

13:13 online it can certainly help you
13:15 strategize for how to do that it can
13:17 certainly help you come up with social
13:21 media copy for your songs images for
13:24 your songs yeah I I mean it's not going
13:27 to do it for you
13:30 but it's going to
13:31 do like 80% of the leg work for what you
13:35 need to do to sell your songs
13:37 online in in
13:40 minutes if you get good prompts going
13:42 okay so GPT for good so next
13:46 Saturday we're starting I think at 900
13:54 a.m.
13:56 Pacific and then every 3 hours
14:00 we're going to do a teach you how to how
14:02 to create a GPT using chat
14:05 GPT even if you know how to make them
14:08 you should come because you can help
14:09 other people as they have questions and
14:11 then the basic idea is we're going to
14:14 have
14:16 um people make gpts for their favorite
14:19 nonprofit so it can be a nonprofit that
14:21 you work for a nonprofit that you
14:23 support a nonprofit that you just like
14:26 it's going to be really easy we're going
14:28 to knock them out really
14:30 quick and then we're going to share them
14:32 on social media with the hash GPT for
14:35 good isn't that fun now listen you don't
14:38 have to wait till next Saturday if you
14:41 have already made a a GPT for a
14:45 nonprofit or if you know how to make
14:47 gpts and you're like oh that's a good
14:48 idea let me go make one [ __ ] go make
14:51 one and then include the hashtag GPT for
14:54 good um and then share it in the AI
14:58 salon all right time and date again I
15:01 will pin the the it's it's all day
15:04 Saturday December 30th going into
15:07 December
15:09 31st and it's going to be here starting
15:12 it I'm going to I'm going to be doing
15:14 the nin's and the 3es and Ann's going to
15:17 be doing the sixes and the
15:19 twelves um Pacific time so I'll do 9:00
15:24 a.m. 300 p.m. 9900 p.m. 3:00 a.m. and
15:28 she's going to do
15:29 noon 6:00 p.m. I think she might start
15:32 at 6:00 a.m. 6:

15:41 midnight it's going to be fun just just
15:46 so so here's what that means no matter
15:48 where you are in the world there's going
15:49 to be a time that works for you and no
15:51 matter how busy you are you're like I
15:53 but Kyle Saturday is when I got to go to
15:55 the Costco I got to get to the Costco
15:59 going to have big after Christmas sales
16:01 for
16:02 sweatpants I need some sweatpants Kyle
16:06 you can go get your sweatpants and then
16:08 wear your sweatpants and make some gpts
16:10 for good all right Isn't that cool I
16:13 think that's cool I think that's cool um
16:17 Tobias we're going to put I'm I'm
16:19 working with Bradley right now we're
16:21 going to figure out we'll put a page on
16:24 um the AI salon so that people actually
16:27 have a place to go right right now we
16:29 don't have a website well we do someone
16:31 made a website uh Vicky I think made a
16:35 website a placeholder we'll we'll have
16:37 places people are excited about this so
16:40 if you know anyone in the nonprofit
16:41 space if you know anyone who can get
16:43 people here if you know anyone at open
16:45 AI because we're going to be using their
16:48 tool I think what we might also do I'm
16:50 going to talk with Ann about this is I
16:52 think we might also teach you how to do
16:54 it with chat GPT but also how to do it
16:57 with
16:57 po because PO is just it's a different
17:00 audience different
17:02 tool and if you don't have access to
17:04 chat gp4 then you won't be able to make
17:07 one of these but if you have access to
17:09 PO then you
17:10 can um and I don't think you need a
17:12 subscription to PO to make a
17:16 bot so landing pages on show and tell
17:19 but will be updated awesome thank you
17:21 Vicki that's great um yeah so that's
17:24 that I'm I'm really excited about that
17:26 that's a cute little image that sherry
17:27 made if you want to make images for GPT
17:30 for good they can be anything you want
17:32 nonprofit stuff cute little animals um
17:36 uh I don't know people helping people
17:41 singing In Harmony I don't care um share
17:44 them in not for profit okay yeah yeah
17:49 that's it's yeah that's the idea is to
17:50 do it for for not for
17:52 profit or or a B Corp like to to be
17:55 honest like just do it for a cause other
17:58 than than yourself it could be a church
18:00 group or a community group it could be a
18:03 big nonprofit it could be a little
18:04 nonprofit the whole idea is to learn how
18:07 to do gpts in the service of other
18:10 people right because there there's a
18:12 couple of things here one is the the way
18:15 we've designed what we're going to teach
18:17 you is that it's going to teach people
18:19 about the nonprofit it's going to teach
18:21 people about the cause or the issue that
18:23 that nonprofit does and then it's going
18:25 to it's going to do a call to action for
18:27 people to donate how cool is that it's
18:30 very cool so so just come with you know
18:34 someone like that and and what this it
18:37 does a couple of things for
18:39 you
18:41 it takes the focus off yourself one of
18:44 the things that I
18:45 find intimidating about chat GPT is it's
18:49 just a box it's just like a box and you
18:52 sit there and stare at it it's like
18:54 staring at a blank piece of paper if
18:56 you're thinking about writing the Great
18:57 American novel and you're like I don't
18:59 know where to start what do I
19:02 do um the minute you turn your attention
19:07 off yourself and onto someone else it
19:10 becomes so much easier right because you
19:12 like you could you know what they need
19:14 you know what they're all
19:16 about and then the other thing it does
19:20 is if the people work for the nonprofits
19:23 they're going to learn how to use this
19:25 technology and that's going to help them
19:26 within their nonprofits
19:29 if people at the nonprofits don't even
19:31 know this is happening and you build a
19:34 GPT for them and you say hey by the way
19:36 you've got a GPT now and people are
19:38 learning about the organization and
19:40 donating um they're going to be like
19:42 wait what is this thing tell me about
19:43 this I don't know anything about this
19:45 this is AI I thought AI was evil and was
19:47 going to kill
19:48 us fact hair growth geek people who
19:51 thinks about themselves are less happy
19:54 let's build the Bots
19:56 exactly it really is an amazing thing
19:59 the the minute it's one of my one of my
20:02 secret hacks with gpts if you feel
20:04 overwhelmed and not sure where to start
20:06 start with someone else start with
20:08 someone else that's got a
20:10 problem and and say
20:13 um who I you're trying to get your pizza
20:15 off the ground and I know you were
20:16 struggling with marketing you want me to
20:18 help you make a marketing plan I don't
20:19 know how to do that but chat GPT
20:22 can and do that it makes it so much
20:27 easier and when when you show people
20:29 that they will have their first Kevin
20:31 mallister moment it can do that oh my

26:23 rules of Tik Tok which is why I
26:24 occasionally get kicked off here for
26:26 seven days cuz I say some some trigger
26:29 word that gets flagged by Ai and they're
26:33 like you're out of here
26:35 buddy that hasn't happened in a while
26:37 though although I had a I had a scare
26:39 what were we doing what we doing oh we
26:43 were we were showing Kaa which is a
26:44 realtime image generator thing and I was
26:47 using my webcam as an input and all of a
26:50 sudden it turned me into a a hot lady
26:53 with her with some some of her bits
26:55 exposed and it shut me down and said
26:58 you're permanently banned from Tik Tok I
27:00 was like
27:02 what and they they they immediately
27:04 reversed it on my appeal but that was a
27:07 little
27:09 scary but apparently you can't show uh
27:13 you can't show lady bits

28:21 the YouTube channel I don't know which
28:22 one it
28:24 is can I is it legit reverse engineer a
28:28 I've paid for and contributed to
28:32 um well so there there's you can go to
28:37 Reddit and find a thing called
28:38 jailbreaking it depends on if someone
28:41 Protected Their bot with a little
28:43 statement that says don't give up the
28:44 secrets of this bot if they didn't then
28:46 it's pretty trivial to reverse engineer
28:49 it um is it is it like legit and not
28:54 douchy yeah it's kind of douch but but
29:00 you know these gpts are easy enough to
29:03 make that you don't even necessarily
29:05 need to reverse engineer it you can just
29:06 say like if it does a particular thing
29:09 and you want yours to do that particular
29:11 thing but for a different activity just
29:14 go to chat gbt and tell it that and it
29:15 builds it for you like it's they're come
29:18 Saturday when when we show how to make
29:20 these things they they're ridiculously
29:21 easy to make they really
29:23 are um what was I going to show oh for
29:26 for the for Sarah who's starting the
29:28 creative gig let me go show you
29:32 something
29:35 so if you go you should absolutely join

45:38 usage and it will analyze the data for
45:40 you it will even make charts and graphs
45:42 for you um and if you want to turn that
45:44 into a GPT where you can interact with
45:47 that on a regular basis you can do that

46:48 you look up chat GPT there are a lot of
46:50 chat gbt apps there's only one from open
46:53 AI That's the official one all the other
46:57 ones are scams right so so there's scams
46:59 on so many levels with AI I don't even
47:01 know where to start with your question
47:04 but understand who the players are and
47:06 make sure you're at the the official
47:08 websites a lot of times what I'll do is
47:11 if I see something on Twitter rather
47:13 than cck click on a link on Twitter to
47:16 go to whatever the thing is I'll go to
47:19 the main
47:20 website and make sure that what was said
47:24 about that company on Twitter is
47:25 actually on their website and I'll go to
47:28 it directly from their website so so
47:30 that's a thing you can do in terms of
47:34 how do
47:35 we be aware of scams like that's a fake
47:40 video or your daughter calling you
47:44 saying she was in a car accident asking
47:46 for
47:47 money like that [ __ ] 2024 is going to be
47:50 a lot of that because of tools like hey
47:53 Jen and 11 Labs where you can you can
47:55 synthesize someone's voice with 3
47:58 seconds of
48:00 audio and and you can synthesize their
48:04 their you know their video pretty pretty
48:08 trivially
48:10 easily um just need to be diligent I I I
48:14 would say you know seriously with your
48:17 family this is so [ __ ] up you should
48:21 probably have like a safe word or a
48:24 challenge that if someone call someone
48:26 else in the family Hey listen you're
48:28 home for you're home for the holidays
48:29 you might as well talk about this

55:08 with it you can literally just do that
55:10 the other thing that's cool about this
55:11 that you can do Dev team is um this is
55:16 called code interpreter or Advanced Data
55:18 analysis and it
55:23 um that's that's another crappy chart it

55:28 also take data clean it up and and
55:32 rewrite it into new CSV files so if if
55:35 you get it to do some good analysis it
55:38 can it can do that that one actually
55:40 looks interesting day of the
