H. Okay. Are we live? I think we're live. There's that. Beautiful. What do you think, Champy? What do you think, old Champy? Wampy Wampy.
1:02
Well, I heard there was a secret call. David played and it pleased the Lord. You don't really care for music, do you?
1:16
You singing, Champy? Well, it goes like this. The fourth, the fifth mount of fall and a major lift for king composing. Hallelujah.
1:32
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelu. Yeah. Champy. Champy's not into the music anymore. He doesn't like it
1:44
anymore. What's up, Champy? What is up with you not singing? You sing three bars of a song and that's it.
1:54
He is getting less cheese. He's getting less cheese. Um, welcome everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome. Hey,
2:00
Archetypal. What's happening? Start the show. Kylie, welcome to the AI Learning Lab pre-show. This is the show before the show. So,
2:09
here's the deal. We go live at 7:30 in the AI salon. The way you're going to get there is if you're on LinkedIn or
2:15
YouTube, you go to the description. You just click on the link. It'll take you right over there. And then if you're on
2:21
Tik Tok or X, you go to my profile. Same link, different place to get it because all the platforms are different.
2:29
Everybody has to be special, you know? Do you ever notice how everything on Mac and Windows is
2:44
opposite? Like Mac, the menu bar is at the top, Windows is at the bottom. Huh? You know why that is, right? Lawyers.
2:55
Lawyers. Lawyers are [ __ ] up our life. Good evening everybody. Welcome to the AI Learning Lab pre-show. So, Wednesday
3:07
night is demo night. Uh, I'm going to be demoing stuff. I'm going to be building stuff. I'm going to be figuring out
3:14
things that I want to little mini little mini prototypes I want to do. I'm I'm I'm experimenting with things I want to
3:21
do for the uh for the back to basics course coming up in the uh third week of August. Um, what I'm going to do tonight is attempt
3:32
to rediscover what it would be like to completely start from scratch cuz I've been I've been doing this too
3:44
long and the things that I think are simple are not >> and uh so I want to rediscover some simplicity. So that's what we're going
3:52
to be doing tonight. So, if you're new to this AI stuff, might be a fun night to come hang out.
4:14
Girl, you're looking find every fella's got you in his sights.
4:29
What you doing with a clown like me? Surely one of life's little mystery. So tonight I ask wait
4:47
I ask the stars above. How did I ever win your love? What did I do?
5:04
What did I say to turn your angel eyes my way?
5:21
All right. Fantastic, man. I am loving using codeex voice as part of my writing process. I definitely think verbally.
5:29
Um, that's a that's a really good uh really interesting point. And I think as these voice tools get better, there's a
5:39
couple of things about the voice interface um that's kind of a mess, right? One is it's just janky. Um it sometimes works,
5:48
it sometimes doesn't. Um, but the other one is you kind of lose track of your projects and so there's no real easy way
5:55
to know which projects you're talking to and which ones are working and things like that. So I'm sure there's some sort
6:01
of way to do that. I saw someone created an app that kind of visually shows all the different projects. Um,
6:09
but yeah. Yeah, talking talking into this thing while it goes off and does some writing is really interesting. But
6:16
also hearing it read back writing is that is it are you going to judge it differently than if you hear it talking
6:22
back to you? I don't know. It's it's it's fascinating. It's absolutely fascinating. Um, one thing that I did
6:30
here that I kind of like is, um, these things are good enough now and they have big enough context windows now
6:40
that one of the best ways to prompt is just put it in voice mode and just ramble for like 20 minutes. Just
6:47
literally brain dump into it and then let it sort it all out. Um, I use git repos to track continuity. That's very
6:56
cool. Very nice. Welcome everybody. So, this is the AI Learning Lab pre-show. So, it's the show before the show. So,
7:02
the AI Learning Lab goes live in the AI salon at uh 7:30 Mountain time. So, it's 7:17 right now. So, about 13 minutes.
7:11
And if you're on LinkedIn or YouTube, uh just go in the description below or you can see right there community.ai.
7:17
Either one of those. The link in the description will take you straight to the live stream. And uh and once you
7:23
sign in, you're right there. Uh on uh Tik Tok or you or or or Tik Tocker X, if you go to my profile, click on the link
7:32
there, it'll take you straight over there. All right. Um class captains in the house. Special talk 353. Good to see
7:39
you. Welcome, welcome, welcome. Um we're going to be talking about uh building stuff tonight. We're actually just going
7:46
to be building stuff and doing stuff and maybe making some slides and seeing if we can get any of these tools to do work that is usable.
8:34
Um, all right. So, all right. Let's see. If I need to attach a thought to another project, I just say that and the
8:42
continuity updates in that project. That's very very cool. Um, if anybody has any questions or if you want to see
8:49
me demo something, if you want to see me use something or have a question about how something works, um, I know how a
8:54
lot of these tools work. Uh, I I also know not how a lot of them work, but I'm willing to play the town fool and and
9:04
let you see how how I stumble through trying to get some of these things to work. Um, I think that's one of the best
9:12
ways to learn AI is just literally stumble through it and play and like have some fun with it. So, I tend to do
9:19
some nonsensical stuff. Um, so if you want to see that, if you want to join me tonight, we're live every night, Monday,
9:26
Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 to 9 Mountain time, uh, in the AI salon. And so this little pre-show is just like the
9:34
little hang out before the show, play a little music, get the dog to maybe sing a little. He's been a little lazy
9:40
lately. He's getting old. You know, you know when when they get old. Is this the place I can rest my poor head?
9:59
If you've been playing around with this AI stuff for a while, it's exhausting, isn't it? Is this a place I can rest my whole head?
10:13
To gather my in sweet, gather my songs in sweet silence. And is this place where the feelings are
10:28
dead from an overexposure to violence? And is this place I can slowly face the only one I truly can know?
10:45
These are tears from a long time ago. Got these tears from a long time ago. I need to cry 30 years or so. These are tears from a long time
11:03
ago. Um Yeah, it's a little hot for Champion. Could be that. Hello everyone. What's happening? Mary Mary, good to see you.
11:17
Welcome everybody. Welcome to the AI Learning Lab pre-show. So, we're going live at 7:30 tonight inside the AI
11:24
salon. So, if you're on LinkedIn or YouTube, go to the description down there. Click on the link. That'll take
11:29
you straight over there. If you're on Tik Tocker X, it's in the profile link is there. Just go there, click on it.
11:36
Woo! Off you go. Um, if you're new to the AI salon, come on over. It's free. It's wonderful. It's an amazing group of
11:45
people. Um, we do these learning labs three nights a week. We've got special meetings. We had one this past uh last
11:51
night on uh on the future of work and decision making and all sorts of cool stuff on on uh talent management. And uh
12:01
it was a it was a really good compelling meeting. It was it one of the things that the meeting did last night was
12:07
remind me how early we are. We are we are remarkably incredibly early. Um so if you're here if you're like here
12:14
watching this the pre-show of of an AI learning lab, you're early, right? You've got enough curiosity that either
12:23
I'm Alec Baldwin on a bad day or you're actually curious about AI. You're ahead of the game. Even if you're here for the
12:30
Alec Baldwin comparisons,
12:57
Standing between you and a hard place is insane. Standing too near you and a fire makes it clear.
13:15
You're trouble to me. Real trouble, can't you say? Leaning in close.
13:29
Smell of your perfume scares me most. leaning away. Hey, it feels stronger every day.
13:44
You're trouble to me. Real trouble. Can't you see? Okay, good people. All right. I love
13:59
found finding out that with 90 novels in production, they're all just rooms in my mental house. What's happening, Andy?
14:08
Good day. Good day, Lord. Digital gods, thank you so much for the twirly lights. The sparkly lights, I think I used to
14:15
call them. You're always very generous with with donating the sparkly lights. They make me happy. Um, I do appreciate it.
14:29
So, what time is it? In six minutes, we're going to be going live inside the AI salon. So, if you're new to the AI
14:35
salon, welcome. Welcome to anyone who's new. Um, the only real prerequisites for being a part of the AI salon is just be
14:41
curious about what's going on. You don't have to love it. You can be afraid of it. You can be pissed off about it. My
14:48
only thing, my whole thing, my whole thing, I've been doing this for three and a half years. This going live thing.
14:54
Why do I do this? because I believe that AI is the most transformative technology in our history. We're early and I know it's not going
15:07
away. And if it's not going away and it's transformative, then we only have two choices. You either deal with it or you
15:15
don't. And so it is it is my contention that it is better to deal with it and claim our reclaim our own agency and
15:24
say, "Hey, I'm going to figure out what this thing is and I'm going to use it as a way to amplify who I am and what I'm about
15:32
rather than compete with it and and try to I don't know like deal with it in some way other than this is stuff we get
15:41
to use." Um, so that's what this channel's all about. talking about it, playing with it, exploring it. So,
15:47
Wednesday nights are hands-on nights. So, I'm gonna be playing tonight. So, if you want me to play with anything, um,
15:53
I'm happy to do that. So, if you're on LinkedIn or YouTube, head down to the, uh, link below, uh, and that'll take you
15:59
over to the AI salon. If you're on Tik Tocker X, up in my profile is the link. Got Danielle in the house. Crypto Wolf,
16:07
what's happening? Dr. Jay's here. Who else we got over here on Tik Tok? Watchman 56. Let's see. Lord Digital Gods, of course. Mary, Mary,
16:21
Mary, Mary. All right. Beautiful. Fantastic. All right. Two minutes. Go over to the AI salon. I'll see you
16:31
over there. And we're going to be we're going to be playing tonight. All right. So, uh yeah. Peace. See you on the other side.
