57. 11:52that was fantastic and and and then of course I saw some political stuff and you you know both sides have their
58. 11:59opinions so I was watching some and then I saw the I saw I I I flicked I tick toed and um I saw man at first I thought
59. 12:08it like oh my Alec Baldwin's really let himself go and and but then he was the it was he started out close up and then
60. 12:15he stepped away from the camera and it was a it was a a a rather I don't want a body shame um a rather rotund bellied

83. 15:55they knew each other and then they they each were demoing [ __ ] that they're working on so one of the things Brent
84. 16:01demoed was this new Chinese video model and and he had access to it for the past two months and has done like
85. 16:093,000 um renders in it video renders and he said it is does anybody remember the name of it I just thought he said $11 bill yeah
86. 16:22that's the name of Christian's company Hulu Hulu or or something it's I think it's the mini Max yeah hang on I think it's called

90. 17:21Brent said about this video model is that he's also got access to Sora he's got developer access to open AI Sora one of the big deals about
91. 17:33Sora was that they said it it is um effectively a world simulation model that it understands some kinds of
92. 17:42physics basically and it's not just doing frame byf frame image generation it's it's actually looking at I forget
93. 17:48what they call them they weren't called pixels they were called patches I think it sort of breaks a movie image into
94. 17:56patches like think like a 100 little patches and then it looks at them across time like 100 frames across time and it
95. 18:06and it reconciles them all together and it kind of understands the world that's what Sora claimed they were doing and
96. 18:12that's why their Generations were better right now there are a ton of really good video tools Brent today said that this H hey Halo Halo AI
97. 18:29what is with these technical companies having shitty [ __ ] names you have a video domain name come up with something memorable I mean it's
98. 18:41a Chinese company coming into an American Market but like use chat GPT anyway um hail uo hail uo. aore A.V
99. 18:57videoo and anyway what Brent said is this is better than Sora at that physics stuff he thinks that this is actually a
100. 19:04world world model um I'm a fan of cing which is also a Chinese uh thing the one thing that he said about this um Halo AI
101. 19:15is that it's a copyright nightmare like he he tried to get an old man riding like a a golf cart through a mud puddle
102. 19:23or something like that and it gave him Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear just you know just outright just gave it
103. 19:31to him so I I you're going to have to sort of tread lightly with copyright stuff with this one but apparently this
104. 19:38one's quite good the Overcoat ski video he turned into a a sunny Bluebird day was cool so that Teton skier was um that
105. 19:50was Runway ml so the other the other thing that's really powerful right now Runway ml's new 3.5 model whatever the [ __ ] it's called

109. 20:30stuffff but now there's Shadows on this ski hill it it was amazing AI is so nice for coding LOL it helps a lot as an assistant yeah if you
110. 20:41think of if you're new to AI if you think of generative AI as the most highly educated clueless intern you've ever
111. 20:55worked with you'll do good cuz if you just say to a clueless intern go make me a something they're going to
112. 21:05make you a shitty something right even if they're well educated because they don't know the world they don't know
113. 21:10your your world so what you would say to that clueless intern is okay here's who we are here's here's how we like to
114. 21:18write press releases and you know I want you to go do a first draft of a press release and then they can do pretty good
115. 21:24and you get it back and like that's not quite right but do a little better that's exactly how you can use Ai and if
116. 21:29you use it like that you'll do you'll do well the problem with the video generation tools is that they're pretty
117. 21:36expensive the Halo AI you can get unlimited generations for uh 100 bucks a month but Brent said that they're so
118. 21:44overloaded right now there's like 11,000 people on their weight list that um it's just taking forever to render anything
119. 21:51um I've been using cling Ai and it's it's quite good I can show you some videos that I did with clling AI I also

182. 36:18this this unsettling question what happens when our Creations you know develop feelings which brings us to
183. 36:26Sydney an artificial love story this this new musical and we're going we're okay so so that's that's what we're
184. 36:33talking about here and what this is about is about the the chatbot that had a conversation with the New York Times

440. 1:24:21really caught my eye it's giving open AI Sora a real run for its money apparently Mini Max is the real deal no doubt what
441. 1:24:28gets me is how crazy realistic the AI videos are getting remember when you could spot them a mile away now they've
442. 1:24:33got season Pros doing double takes Brent was saying he used Mini Max to make these hilarious videos of get this
443. 1:24:39senior citizens doing extreme sports like Motocross and mobility scooters people thought it was totally real he
444. 1:24:45even had to start adding disclaimers the line between reality and AI is getting blurrier by the day but it also shows
445. 1:24:51how you can use these tools to tell stories grab attention even viral and it's not just about the final product
446. 1:24:57Brent was saying Minx gives you crazy control over every little detail imagine changing the time of day in your video
447. 1:25:05just by asking or making a basketball bounce perfectly in time with the music that's the level of detail we're talking
448. 1:25:11about it's like a virtual film set where can tweak anything and everything this changes the game for creatives letting
449. 1:25:17them experiment like never before so the question is there a way to delete it and generate a new one yes and in fact I I
450. 1:25:24recommend that so when you when you create these podcasts you have you have zero um influence over them however you
451. 1:25:32can hack it a bit you can upload in your PDF you can put instructions before the content or you could upload a separate
452. 1:25:41document that's notes for the podcast and you can tell it what to cover and what to talk about so you can sort of
453. 1:25:48hack the prompt but it just generates what it generates if you don't like it click on the three dots up here here and
454. 1:25:55then you can delete it and just regenerate it so let's actually up the uh playback speed was like magic really yeah but
