48. 10:54little of that tonight the other thing that kind of struck me about advanced voice
49. 11:22today I thought I thought a fun experiment tonight might be to see if we could demo both how wide and how deep it
50. 11:39is and here's what I mean by that so there's something about the fact that the advanced voice voice is oh thank you so much
51. 11:49tonier um there's something about the fact that the voice is so human like it feels to me like it's got human limitations like
52. 12:01you know you might be talking to someone and they're super into I don't know industrial design and you're like
53. 12:09oh cool tell me about industrial design and then you regret asking that because you realize you know they got a touch of
54. 12:16the tism and they run deep and and you know an hour later you're still hearing about some obscure designer that they're
55. 12:22a fan of and he was the one that really is the reason that buttons are round instead of square and you just right but then if you ask that
56. 12:33person you know tell me about Greek Symphonies they're going to be like wait what I got I got nothing I got nothing
57. 12:43you want to Google something together but with with advanced voice you can you can context switch like just dramatically different
58. 12:57things from help me diagnose how to fix my broken down truck to Industrial design history to Greek Symphony
59. 13:10writers and so I thought it might be a fun experiment to just actually get chat GPT to tell us what is the thing that is
60. 13:22intellectually the farthest away from what she's talking about and then go talk about that and then try to find the next thing beyond that
61. 13:30okay I'm 99% certain advanced voice has internet access to an extent it filters what it tells you I wouldn't be I wouldn't be too
62. 13:43surprised if that's true Danielle but I I don't think it I I think it's hobbled right now but it's possible they've just

75. 16:37make a little podcast about it or you know use it like notebook LM like you do so yeah cc

88. 19:29chill and then when I was talking to her today she's like hey Kyle how's it going I'm like I didn't pick [ __ ] Minnie
89. 19:38Mouse I said could you chill out and like just talk normal I don't want you to be so optimistic it's a lot of
90. 19:48pressure she's like okay KY I'll try and then she got peppy again oh can you put your own face in a LM podcast well you can you could
91. 20:08certainly the The Notebook LM podcasts are just audio you could take the audio segments and split up the boy and the girl voices or man and
92. 20:21woman you know whatever I'm tired of having to pay attention to what I say um but anyway yes you could you could you could take a picture of
93. 20:33yourself and a picture of some other person and put it into hey Jen or did one of those things that makes your face
94. 20:44talk um so yeah you could absolutely do that and then edit those pieces together you could you could do that for [Music] sure um

110. 23:59she didn't know it was Thursday but anyway she was peppy and then I said teach me something and that bored me and then I said I
111. 24:06don't know do something and I said what if we invent something and then she started asking me a bunch of questions like I had to
112. 24:15invent it and I was like wait a minute you're the [ __ ] AI here I said why don't I give you an unformed idea and then you invent
113. 24:25something from it she was like okay yeah that sounds f fantastic Kyle woo I was like oh this is exhausting I'm 58 and I
114. 24:33have to start over is there really a way to make videos without knowing how to do much Michael T justice I'm
115. 24:4159 and yes I have a i i so don't like making videos that um I started an entire company to automate the process
116. 24:51so I've got a company called storyvine that does exactly that but yes as a matter of fact let's go teach you
117. 24:59how that [ __ ] works we'll go to clling I guess clling AI so we'll go text to video so this is klling ai.com they give you I think
118. 25:14uh like six videos a day for free you can also do this on Runway ml you can also do this on pabs there's there's a bunch of them now
119. 25:25but but clling AI is pretty good and and okay so we're going to do text to video and I'm going to make a prompt we're going to go
120. 25:36to is one is 1.0 cheaper doesn't seem like it huh all right so we'll keep it at 1.5 so this says Okay so we're going to
121. 25:50go what kind of video do we want to do let's do a video of
122. 26:10two young lovers walk down the beach at Sunset and in the distance in front of
123. 26:26them is a 1969 GTO [Laughter] Judge I'm such an
124. 26:41[Laughter] idiot all right we'll just we'll just generate that and so now it's going to go make that um if you had say an actual idea
125. 26:59as opposed to mine where I'm like what stupid ass things are already in my head I can just recycle those
126. 27:08those are upcycled ideas um but anyway here here are some videos that I did with image to video so here's one I did
127. 27:18one of the nice things about cling is that you can do um start frames and end frames so you can go into something like
128. 27:25mid journey I think this was mid journey I did this in so I started with that IM the image with the wax on it and then
129. 27:34that that was the end image and then I just said an envelope spontaneously bursts into flames and you know opens
130. 27:42itself or something like that and so it made that video that's a cool one this was one that I made that was just uh you
131. 27:53know like a a cool house on a cliff or you know right by the ocean and it did that tracking shot this I think was just text
132. 28:11only this started with an image and it's kind of cool except she walks a little weird like right there she trips a little we got a clumsy
133. 28:24model um this started as a really cool image I did in mid Journey and I just wanted to see what what cing would do
134. 28:30with it and other than the little weird eye movements when she reopens her eyes like right here that's like a really cool
135. 28:40shot um here's another muscle car on the beach here's me as a pirate here's me as an
136. 28:55astronaut and then here's uh I I think this was a mid Journey image so that's pretty cool and then the
137. 29:09little thing we're generating right now it's about it's about halfway done so yeah so Runway ml is is kind of
138. 29:16the biggie right now um pabs is another one p i um this one is clling ai.com there's two or three other Chinese ones there's
139. 29:28Deco here there there's a bunch of them right now so so the answer is yes um and if you want to if you're trying to figure this [ __ ]
140. 29:38out and I I know you've been in here before so you've probably seen this pitch but if you haven't check out the

148. 30:51other nice thing about this is you can go look at other people that have made videos and DM them and say hey I want to
149. 30:59make videos teach me how you do that [ __ ] there's also a video Guild under the creative guilds called videos with

157. 33:04is do not buy the annual subscriptions even though you get a discount cuz the tools are changing too fast
158. 33:13um so I had a paa subscription cuz it was the best for a while then Runway kind of caught up and overtook it hold
159. 33:22please I know I'm I'm totally hold hold pleasing um right now it looks like Runway is the is the big player um none of these tools
160. 33:33are cheap unfortunately like if you want to do a decent amount of video generation work plan on spending 60 bucks a month maybe more
161. 33:44um you know I'm trying to pay 10 10 or 20 bucks a month and it's like you get I don't know a dozen dozen and a half
162. 33:53video generations and because of that I find myself not using it cuz like I don't want to like in order to get
163. 34:00something decent you have to experiment and if if I'm limited to like 20 videos and 10 of them are just wasted
164. 34:07experiments that's like it's [ __ ] so I am I am I am not as active making videos as I want to be um so it would be nice to get
165. 34:19into the runway Creator program where you've got unlimited Generations or they give you a couple hundred thousand credits but I'm not in it
166. 34:26so uh um what was that what's with the open AI hack planting false
167. 34:41memories I have no idea hacker plants false memories in chat GPT to steal user data in perpetuity huh let's go look up that

169. 35:21dubbed spy Spa AI wear SP wear get it SP AI wear could have allowed attackers to embed spyware exposing their user data
170. 35:37across multiple conversations exposing their user data I don't know what that means could have
171. 35:53enabled what does that mean could have does that mean they patched it oh and now patch security vulnerability all right well

195. 41:24stabilities board the 100 film fund sets that to change that by helping to fund and produce 100 films which are making
196. 41:33use of AI to tell their stories if you're a professional director producer screenwriter or creative professional

206. 43:22to say you know I always wanted to make a film but you know never went to film School don't know really how to do it
207. 43:28Now's the Time to learn now is the time to learn cuz these tools here's the thing about all these tools as impressive as all these shots
208. 43:38are when you actually try to do something intentional with them it's really hard to get stuff that is not Gravely disappointing
209. 43:51um but what that means is this it means that we're early and it means that the these tools probably within the next year it's going
210. 44:00to be easy for anyone to make anything good so there's a very short window in the next 6 months to a year where the tools are bad
211. 44:09enough that people in the film industry are going to look at them and go well they're not really ready I'm I'm a real
212. 44:16filmmaker so I'm not going to play with this these toys these toys are not going to be toys for very long so if you can
213. 44:26put together a work flow and tell stories with these tools you're going to be in a really good position you know
214. 44:35you could certainly apply for you know one of these grants if you have a big Vision um and this isn't a grant I guess
215. 44:42it's probably an investment they're they're financing some of these these films but you know five grand to a
216. 44:49million bucks that'll get you there with up to $2 million excuse me in rway crap credits that's pretty cool that's pretty cool
217. 45:01you could you could make some real ass movies with that and you know we're going to start to see the runway
218. 45:07festivals are going to start happening in person these are start they're going to start out of short films then they're
219. 45:14going to be half hour then they going to be feature films now is the time like if you want to be a non Hollywood

225. 46:13going to start jumping on and using this stuff so it's going to be impossible to detect where AI is and where it isn't
226. 46:20cuz all the sfx stuff that you can do now where you can just swap out bodies with other parts is pretty staggering

228. 46:35about you know how good is you know can I make a video so this is the couple walking hand in hand with a 69 GTO judge

231. 47:06going to have an AI genre for long because I don't think you're going to be able to it's going to get so seamlessly
232. 47:12integrated that that it would almost like have it would almost like be if if you had a separate category for
233. 47:21sampling you're like well that's hip-hop well no it's everything now right if you listen to Billy ish's music music that's all samples
234. 47:28right so it's just music and I I think AI music's going to go the same way that coup couple will never make it to the
235. 47:36car I know they can't really seem to figure it out can they he's like you want to get in the car and make out

238. 48:02do much with them like do I build things do I use them a lot I do use them a lot I've built some features into my
239. 48:09company's software um using primarily the open AI stuff um but but yeah what what specifically do you want
240. 48:20to know what specifically do you want to talk about cuz I can we can go play with some stuff if you want we can also play
241. 48:26with uh the new advanced voice there's a famous Korean production company who will create AI music bands
242. 48:34oh absolutely absolutely and I would imagine that Japan and Korea you're going to see some you know full-on bands
243. 48:42launch that we won't necessarily know that they're AI generated um until you go to the concert and it's just a bunch of holograms up
244. 48:54there but that technology already exist to do the live on stage um polygrams do you talk TI I don't know what that means so
245. 49:07probably not have your new girlfriend write a script getting the couple to the car that's pretty good yes more new voice please okay we

248. 49:50new I got to have this plugged in so I'm I'm in the chat GPT app and in the lower right hand corner here if you stuck if that icon for you
249. 50:06is still little headphones then you you have the old version if it's like a little Soundwave then that's the new version
250. 50:13and when you click on it it turns into like a blue cloud in a circle that means you've got access to the new voice if it's a black circle
