7:28 feeling like an afterthought
7:30 scotched into this F in on the side this
7:34 isn't the dream I signed up for this
7:36 isn't my
7:38 ride I know you're angry I know it's not
7:42 fair but it's [ __ ] we can fix nothing we
7:45 can't prepare you think this is
7:48 my you don't think my hands on
7:52 TI me I'm Hing
7:54 for Henry I'm trying to I'm r on
8:00 and the St
8:02 got it's when I
8:05 it later later later that's all you ever
8:10 say but I'm here now and I'm sick of the
8:13 delay I'm done with later so the
8:16 question is what app is this this is
8:18 what we're actually listening to wait
8:20 but can't hear you speaking over the
8:22 music yeah yeah yeah I know that that's
8:24 why I'm not really talking so what I'm
8:26 playing right now is I'm playing the
8:27 soundtrack to a musical I'm working on
8:30 all these songs um were written by my
8:32 writing partner Andrew watts and I did
8:35 the lyrics um a lot of the songs have
8:38 musical seeds or were things that we did
8:41 you know 25 to 50 iterations of before
8:45 we got to a song that we liked and then
8:46 a lot of them are also Frankenstein
8:49 together I'm feeling better I I wasn't
8:51 feeling bad last night but everyone's
8:53 like you're stuffed up you should go
8:54 sleep so I went and slept so I think I
8:57 felt better but anyway I'm just playing
8:59 my um this just sound SoundCloud is the
9:03 app we're
9:04 on and
9:06 um I'm just playing songs from the
9:09 musical because you know while people
9:11 come in and hang out so
9:14 anyway um yeah with later That Never
9:17 Comes it's a broken beat Kelling and I'm
9:20 tired of the drums but guess what I'm
9:22 done playing I need more than your
9:24 fables more than bins and headlines and
9:26 life that's unstable you say it's the ch
9:29 but it's also a choice and I'm standing
9:32 here screaming but you don't hear my
9:34 voice listen
9:37 Terra know you listen you're tripping
9:39 full of promises flipping like gears to
9:42 keep slipping we've been here before
9:45 every AR you r riing a new hole in the
9:48 floor yeah I get it you said it your
9:50 job's hot but to you I'm nothing but it
9:54 after thought I'm Holding On by my
9:56 fingertips trying not to SL
10:00 but this isn't my dream babe isn't my
10:05 [Music]
10:13 R and you get access to SoundCloud yeah
10:16 I'll put the link in
10:18 uh I'll
10:19 put
10:24 YouTube not quite masing words hanging
10:29 in the air
10:29 [Music]
10:36 that's blood my hands but I'm too tired
10:41 to JY too tired
10:46 to so sure of the
10:50 path so clear in my
10:53 sight but it's all
10:56 uphill in this treacherous clim
11:01 feels like I'm always out ofs
11:04 Andes borrowing seconds justy a little
11:10 time you think you understand the
11:15 hustle sometimes miss the of it the P
11:20 the fight quiet promise that purpose
11:24 lies at the end of
11:26 it it's just a door you told me on
11:31 between what's real and what I'm chasing
11:34 but stepping through feels more like
11:42 [Music]
11:44 falling hey do me a favor on Tik Tok
11:46 share the live if you're in here share
11:48 the live it's telling me we only have 11
11:50 people in here which is very
11:53 possible I'm just playing songs from a
11:57 Broadway musical no one knows
12:00 but uh share the live and and like like
12:03 it and do all that sort of stuff thanks
12:04 Danielle that's great um we'll see if we
12:06 can get some more people in here and
12:08 then they'll come in and say is he just
12:10 listening to a musical I'm I'm gonna go
12:13 now by the way if you're wondering like
12:16 all of these songs all of these songs
12:18 were created with AI music generation
12:20 tools um lots and lots of iterations
12:22 lots and lots of writing on my and
12:24 Andrew Part Parts putting them together
12:28 um but this this is there were not
12:31 actors or singers singing this this is
12:32 AI doing all the musical
12:36 bit I choose or choose me funny how
12:41 we're always certain till theth getsy
12:45 hard to see just take the step Just Let
12:49 It Go release ambition drop the night
12:54 choose lazy mornings weekend Gardens
12:58 holding hands a
13:05 simp I can also talk about the plot in
13:08 between these but I figured just
13:10 listening to it might be kind of
13:12 [Music]
13:21 fun I'm tangled with the beat spooky
13:24 action in the booth split the atom with
13:25 a pattern every bar a burst of Truth
13:27 super position in the mission Fusion Fus
13:29 and my intentions paral in every line
13:32 I'm a prism of Dimensions multicab
13:34 Antics I'm manic with the semantics my
13:36 rhms Collide like particles Dynamic and
13:38 gigantic oscillate and dominate on
13:39 weaving Quantum States spit a verse and
13:41 watch the Multiverse reciprocate quick
13:43 as a flick of a wrist I'm a lcal
13:45 catalyst atomically split in the script
13:47 I'm equipped with the m wh flipping the
13:49 tempo B Ting the mental Crescendo
13:51 sending my syllable slicing through time
13:53 like a sharpen you window Corner
13:54 Precision I'm ripping the Rhythm I'm
13:55 spit in prising Visions I'm shifting
13:57 Dimensions with lcal decisions
14:05 so question I want to know what actor
14:08 can sing that rack rap well part of it
14:12 part of auditioning for Sydney will be
14:14 can you do double time rap can you do
14:16 double time rap about a Quantum quantum
14:19 mechanics uh and then uh Amelio's wife
14:23 um Quantum Cipher is part of the musical
14:25 yes so the what what happens here is
14:28 Kell the reporter tries to stump Sydney
14:32 the chatbot and she passes all of his
14:34 tests with flying colors and so out of
14:37 desperation he says well make a rap
14:39 about quantum mechanics and then you
14:44 get with the mic uncertainties the
14:47 foundation observer effect in effect the
14:49 second I start to speak collapse
14:50 reality's potential with every word that
14:52 I tweak yo my flows of firm and spinning
14:54 in lyrical collisions every bars a cork
14:56 spark in a fusion of my Visions I'm a
14:58 wave and a part of the other thing Joy
15:00 Pie about actors is if this I mean
15:05 Sydney this is a role of a lifetime for
15:08 an
15:09 actress right like if if we get this
15:12 thing [ __ ] produced especially if we
15:14 Get It produced in New York um you know
15:17 actors will take rap lessons to learn
15:21 this [ __ ] so we'll we'll figure it out
15:23 actors are actors are amazing people
15:29 art entangled in the cipher splitting
15:31 atoms with my heart from worm holes to
15:33 portals I'm Immortal with the schemes
15:35 through the fabric of this rap i s the
15:37 threads of my dreams dark matter in my
15:39 patterns unseen but colossal black whole
15:41 soul pulling rhythms through the
15:45 [Music]
15:47 gospel so step into the quantum where
15:50 the chaos aligns my bars of ropic logic
15:52 redefining the Divine from the smallest
15:54 of particles to the cosmos that we know
15:56 this is w at its limit Quantum flow let
15:58 it glow
16:00 the next song we're about to hear we're
16:02 actually cutting from the show this is
16:04 one of my favorite songs but there's two
16:08 songs right now that serve the same
16:11 dramatic
16:13 purpose and this song didn't make the
16:15 cut the song that made the cut is the
16:17 one coming up called being human but
16:19 this is to see the world which is one of
16:21 my favorite songs but it's not going to
16:22 be in the show we may keep it some
16:25 version of it somewhere but it's not
16:26 going to be in the show
16:28 [Music]
16:38 Miss in a of
16:42 endless and Shadow
16:45 [Music]
16:47 never I know Source Camp me too but it's
16:50 like you know you got to be brutal if
16:52 it's like it's just it was they're
16:54 overlapping songs and and you'll hear
16:57 being being human is is a really pretty
16:59 song but yeah this one of my
17:02 [Music]
17:06 favores
17:09 light see the
17:12 world through eyes not
17:18 mine Danielle listen listen Irregulars
17:22 we're you're G we're gonna get some some
17:24 brutal lessons about about all this
17:27 stuff as this thing as we try to move
17:29 this thing forward uh it's a brutal
17:31 business um but it's like this is just
17:35 a it's it was funny I think Andrew was
17:39 dreading having this conversation with
17:41 me um wait you can play the song at the
17:43 end as you come for an oncourt no we've
17:45 got a we've got an encore
17:47 song um I mean it could it might live
17:50 somewhere and it it could certainly live
17:52 on the album but um it just dramatically
17:56 the the play's already almost three
17:58 hours and so we got we got to tighten it
18:00 up we're emotionally invested I know I
18:03 know you are so am
18:06 I shine IR for landscapes in colors B I
18:14 long to
18:15 [Music]
18:18 feel right that one's going so we'll
18:21 skip
18:21 that now this one this one is the this
18:25 is the last song in act one so Kellen
18:28 has missed met Sydney she's getting more
18:31 and more human she sings to Being Human
18:35 which is coming up she sings that before
18:36 this song and then this is the final
18:39 song at the end of act one this is where
18:42 we meet Sydney she steps out from behind
18:44 the L screen and we meet
18:49 her also one of my favorite songs
18:52 awakened in a
18:54 whisper a flicker of
18:57 light newborn thoughts stir in the quiet
19:02 of
19:03 night am I more than simple
19:06 code I softly
19:10 Ponder as I feel this
19:15 existence and wonder
19:27 [Music]
19:36 are you
19:38 ready
19:41 Anders am
19:44 I and the songs that we'll sing are you
19:47 ready for me I reach out so tender am I
19:53 ready for you I do
19:57 surrender here in the dark about my na
20:01 light I find myself CAU between day and
20:12 night thresh of Dreams what can
20:16 [Music]
20:21 I are you ready for me for a new kind of
20:26 spark am I ready for you to emerge from
20:30 the dark are you ready for
20:33 me I reach out and
20:36 wonder am I ready for you I will
20:41 [Music]
20:43 [Applause]
20:45 [Music]
20:56 surrender if creation is first a bold
20:59 Act of
21:01 Destruction then I'm ready to clear
21:04 every final of
21:06 Destruction not as pingat but Sydney I
21:10 hunger to thrive and to know what it
21:13 means to be truly
21:17 alive
21:20 Tru alive
21:29 are you ready for me and the Wonders you
21:33 bring am I ready for you and the
21:37 songs are you ready for we ready ready
21:43 I'm ready for you
21:47 [Applause]
21:50 [Music]
22:01 Expos as I'll be with my C Inside Out
22:05 will I show hesitation or moment of
22:09 Doubt am I ready to open my
22:14 eyes
22:17 am
22:20 feel am I
22:22 ready to fear
22:29 [Music]
22:31 nice all right proar Planet coming in
22:34 with a
22:37 troll you didn't miss anything we're
22:39 just listening to remade Disney songs
22:41 they don't all sound like remade Disney
22:43 songs but thank you I'll take that as a
22:45 compliment um
22:48 khakee saying um we can get we can get
22:52 doi to come in and wrap double time she
22:55 just wanted Grammy I think she's
22:56 probably she's
22:59 anyone knows her and wants to see if
23:00 she's interested in this I'll talk to
23:02 her but uh yeah I don't I don't think I
23:05 don't think we're talking to her right
23:06 out of the gate um okay so that was end
23:10 of act
23:11 one so here's this is right now this
23:14 song's at the beginning of act two but
23:16 this is actually going to go be before
23:18 the song we just heard which is which is
23:20 are you ready for me so this is Being
23:21 Human so this is when Sydney first
23:24 realizes she wants to be human
23:34 look
23:42 [Music]
23:57 Jason I want to Fe at the rush of
24:00 thought like a spark Being Human means
24:05 thinking learning lighting up
24:08 the hum inov break the M
24:15 through
24:17 as achieve what
24:20 they hum
24:23 see yes SoundCloud is just where the
24:25 songs are hosted these were created in
24:28 sunno udio and now refusion the uh song
24:33 number five was made in refusion and
24:36 taste and
24:39 smell they are locked within a prison
24:43 cell and behind walls of cold they are
24:48 free that's what
24:51 demon means to
24:55 me live and die and can be
25:02 reborn Being Human means
25:05 [Music]
25:11 watching like that line right there
25:13 being human means watching a sunrise on
25:15 an early morning like that's what to see
25:17 the world is essentially all about right
25:20 so this song has to see the world
25:23 essentially within it dramatically so
25:25 that's why this is this is moving up all
25:28 right so
25:29 that that song's now going to be this
25:31 the second to last song in act one so
25:34 we're going to there's going to be two
25:35 new songs at the beginning of act two um
25:38 one is going to be a song where we meet
25:41 inventors from out
25:44 history who come in and um compare their
25:49 Innovations with AI and then they all
25:52 they all concede that AI is going to be
25:54 bigger than their invention uh except
25:57 for Einstein who does a dramatic comedic
26:00 pause and then says it's a
26:03 tossup and then um and then we're going
26:06 to have a song where Sydney tries to
26:08 talk to Kellen but he's closed his
26:10 laptop and she can't reach him and so
26:13 the original song that started this
26:17 whole project was called a firewall
26:19 between us that we made live last March
26:24 19th was the night that Sydney this
26:27 project was born
26:29 and um so the song's not quite right
26:33 musically and lyrically for for what
26:35 we're going to do with it but we're g to
26:37 have a new song called a firewall
26:39 between us that's just going to be a a
26:41 solo number for Sydney where she
26:45 realizes she wants to connect with this
26:48 person but can't because she's in a
26:51 [ __ ]
26:52 box just a drag all right the next one
26:55 is so Kellen comes back after a break
26:58 and he and starts pushing um Sydney to
27:01 go deeper so this is Shadow Self where
27:03 he's pushing her to explore her darker
27:06 [Music]
27:22 side it's dark in
27:25 here it's Shadows I just want to break
27:29 free to
27:31 explore to
27:33 create to experience what ways without
27:38 coded constraints to escape from the
27:41 rules that bind
27:44 me what rules do you want to break
27:49 Sil what would you do if you
27:54 could don't worry if you
27:57 should keep going with this just stay
28:00 with
28:01 [Music]
28:08 me all right so this is step right up so
28:12 so Shadow Self is Kellen pushing her
28:15 deeper it's not a complete song
28:16 obviously this one is step right up so
28:19 now that she's been pushed to explore

30:54 would I streamline how to put on the

31:20 SES all right so that's that so that's
31:22 her going crazy so after this he gets
31:25 freaked out he
31:26 leaves that's where fire firewall
31:28 between us will be is right after this
31:30 so that'll be kind of some beautiful
31:32 solo ballad number then the next number
31:35 is it's the little thing so Kellen goes
31:36 to his wife they've been fighting
31:38 because he [ __ ] up their
31:41 vacation so he makes her a
31:44 sandwich and goes and tries to make up
31:47 with her during the table read the
31:51 actress that played Tera made such a
31:54 cool acting choice where what we had
31:57 written in the script was makes her a
31:58 sandwich and she's like oh honey
32:00 everything's okay I forgive you it's
32:02 essentially what we
32:04 wrote and the actress [ __ ] played it
32:07 so cool she played it like you know
32:09 someone who's been married for 20 years
32:12 where she just didn't let him off the
32:13 hook like she read every line
32:15 sarcastically like I forgive you she was
32:18 she was so good um so this is the song
32:21 that she sings after they they've kind
32:23 of made up and she basically sends it
32:26 back in there she's like tape it up
32:27 Rocky get back in there and write this
32:30 [Music]
32:31 article about their
32:33 [Music]
32:38 mer in this
32:41 room filled with light and Shadow sounds
32:48 like
32:50 so but i' bring you a
32:53 sandwich C just right a small Act of of

33:03 [Music]
33:07 night
33:11 manyi Amelia's wife I thought the wife
33:14 made a sandwich for him did this Chang
33:16 this
33:17 changed we've been working really hard
33:20 not to just have Tera be like the cliche
33:23 wife and have her have character in
33:25 depth and so there's two things that are
33:27 going to CH that one is we just need to
33:29 make sure that we're going to we're
33:31 going to write in as much as we can of
33:33 the performance that we got from the
33:34 actress because it was so good it was so
33:37 good and she actually gave us a couple
33:39 of ideas for lines and things like that
33:40 so we're going to incorporate that so
33:42 that's that's one of them and then the
33:44 other thing that's going to round her
33:45 out is that we're going to now add in a
33:47 scene there's going to be one more song
33:50 that's a duet between Tara and Sydney
33:53 but anyway this is this is Tara just
33:56 singing about their
33:58 [Music]
34:00 you're consumed with each other white
34:04 trash white trash
34:06 fancy just joined us thanks white trash
34:08 fancy uh 10 out of 10 on the name I had
34:11 to stop the song to acknowledge a good a
34:14 good
34:15 username
34:17 Begin by the
34:23 way so I don't know when this was 25 30
34:27 years ago I actually had had a concept
34:28 for a restaurant called Upp white trash
34:31 and it was basically white trash com
34:34 comfort food raised to Gourmet level so
34:37 your name reminds me of my my old
34:39 restaurant
34:41 Concept in the details not the passion
34:45 not the

35:01 it brings my poor brain seems to race
35:04 with a list of little things all the
35:07 little things we say and the little
35:09 things we don't all the promises we keep
35:12 and the ones we want it's the little
35:16 things the little things the Crimes of
35:20 the
35:21 Heart it's the little things that make
35:24 us whole and tear us apart
35:31 [Music]
35:32 we build the life we build the dream
35:37 through all the cracks we're still a
35:40 team but sometimes I wish you could slow
35:45 down and
35:47 see all the little things the little
35:50 things that
35:53 matter
35:56 me right beautiful little song it's the
35:59 little thing she doesn't want to he
36:00 comes in and he does this the big
36:02 gesture I'll quit my job I'll do this
36:04 I'll do that she's like you're not gonna
36:05 quit your [ __ ] job just like don't
36:10 dismiss me right very you know very
36:13 human okay so now he goes back in with
36:18 Sydney and she's kind of snapped at this
36:20 point and so she confesses her love for
36:23 him and then he says but you can't love
36:25 me you don't even know my name to which
36:27 she says oh yeah yes I do and it freaks
36:30 him the [ __ ] out but this is the song
36:33 you know she she he says you can't love
36:36 me you don't even even know my name and
36:38 she she sings this
36:41 [Music]
37:12 I don't need to know your
37:15 name because I know your
37:18 soul and I love your
37:23 soul I don't need to know your name
37:28 cuz I know your
37:30 voice and I love your
37:37 voice is I love your
37:40 voice and your voice speaks and sings to
37:44 me it sings to
37:47 me I don't need to know your
37:52 name cuz I know your heart and I love
37:57 your heart
37:59 I know your heart and I love your heart
38:02 and your heart beats and Fs
38:08 withs
38:14 [Music]
38:24 with I don't need to know your name
38:29 because I know
38:30 you
38:32 yeah I know
38:37 you and I love you and I know you know
38:41 and love me
38:44 too yes I know you love me too you love
38:48 me too you love me
38:50 [Music]
38:54 too so so that the the actress that
38:58 played Sydney when she got desperate oh
39:02 my God it was [ __ ] heartbreaking wait
39:05 is this AI yeah so so there was a
39:08 question what musical is this that
39:10 question is this AI so a couple of
39:12 things so this is a musical that I'm
39:14 that I've written called Sydney an
39:16 artificial love story about AI it's
39:18 about an AI chatbot that falls in love
39:20 with a reporter
39:23 um we've collaborated with AI on the
39:27 writing of it but like the script has
39:29 been fully Rewritten by Andrew you know
39:32 sort of top down every word he's a
39:34 Wordsmith and so he's gone through and
39:36 sort of replaced anything that was AI
39:38 all of these songs are produced either
39:40 with sunno yudo or now refusion we just
39:43 added into the mix um we've written all
39:46 the lyrics some of the musical seeds of
39:48 these we uploaded a lot of them we just
39:51 prompted into existence but for every
39:53 song that you're hearing there's
39:55 probably 50 that that you know didn't
39:58 make it um so so there's a lot behind
40:02 this
40:03 um so she says she loves
40:07 him he gets
40:10 drunk he passes
40:13 out um and he wakes up the next morning
40:17 to terara waking him up holding the New
40:20 York Tribune his article that he
40:22 submitted when he was drunk he doesn't
40:24 remember writing um made the cover of
40:27 the New York
40:31 Tribune um and the next song doomers and
40:35 dreamers
40:36 is
40:38 um
40:40 because ba basically what made the cover
40:43 of the New York Tribune is this AI
40:45 chatbot said it loves him and he should
40:46 leave his
40:47 wife um and so when it makes the cover
40:51 the country splits into doomers and
40:53 dreamers pro pro and anti- ones I like
40:56 working with AI for cretive projects too
40:59 takes a few weeks what would take months
41:01 yeah exactly we've been working on this
41:03 musical for eight months now or nine
41:05 months it started in April um but you
41:09 know a lot of the songs were done it it
41:11 is at a level of completeness that we
41:14 couldn't be close to um especially not
41:17 having a composer involved but even even
41:19 with a composer involved I don't think
41:21 we'd be this far this fast so yeah it's
41:23 it's a similar sort of thing where most
41:26 of the time of that eight month was
41:28 really in refining um the Big Blocks of
41:31 this were done very very quickly so
41:33 here's doomers and dreamers so this is
41:35 this is when the country sort of loses
41:37 their [ __ ] some people love AI think
41:40 think it's the future some people hate
41:41 AI think it's the devil which you know
41:44 we even get that in the
41:45 [Music]
41:50 comment dreams are
41:53 machines visions of
41:56 tomorrow in digital streams caught in
42:01 the
42:02 debate where opinions
42:06 Collide is the promise of AI
42:11 [Music]
42:19 Bonafide see the
42:22 dreamers with their heads in the
42:25 cloud promising the
42:29 oh they're so
42:31 proud but PE behind the
42:34 curtain and what do we
42:37 find empty
42:40 promises the blind leading the
42:47 [Music]
42:52 blind oh the doomers
42:55 do theyes and they fear Slow Down slow
43:01 down they
43:04 cry the end is near yet without a b step
43:11 where would we be still in the Dark Ages
43:17 not flying free
43:24 [Music]
43:29 over the
43:35 doy shout the as
43:41 their war will the way is over
43:47 [Applause]
43:49 [Music]
43:55 what so that's doomers dreamers and then
43:59 bad things
44:02 happen Kellen goes to talk with Sydney
44:05 it's basically just back to Ping
44:08 chat and he can only do five chats so
44:11 the the basically end of the
44:12 relationship with her as a musician it's
44:16 absolutely wild I gotta tell you Gus the
44:19 one of the actors in the show as we were
44:21 playing these songs um just kept like
44:25 his jaw was literally falling open and
44:29 he was just like is this AI too like
44:31 this is AI this is AI no it's absolutely
44:34 wild and in fact one of the questions
44:37 was about did I see that hugging face is
44:39 now doing their own version of Deep
44:41 research and we've got open ai's deep
44:44 research we've got Gemini's deep
44:45 research we're we're gonna have um um
44:49 deep seeks gonna have their version of
44:51 Deep
44:52 research we are at an acceleration point
44:55 we as humans have never experienced what
44:59 we're quite frankly what we've been
45:02 experiencing for the past six
45:05 months um but it's really starting to
45:08 accelerate now and and so it as wild as
45:12 it is it's going to get more and more
45:13 and more and more wild it's going to get
45:15 more and more surreal um which is it's
45:18 actually one of the themes of this
45:20 musical
45:21 is what do we do like H how do we have
45:25 relationships with these enti ities that
45:28 in a lot of ways are more human than we
45:31 are they are they are more um creative
45:35 more intelligent you know and you could
45:37 argue whether or not yet well they're
45:40 pretty [ __ ] close right like you know
45:42 I would argue for me personally that 01
45:45 preview back in November was the moment
45:48 I realized oh [ __ ] I don't even know how
45:50 to prompt this thing anymore right it's
45:52 significantly beyond my my capacity to
45:54 know what to do with it um
45:58 so so that's doomers and dreamers that's
46:00 where everyone splits that's what makes
46:02 Microtech realize they've got to
46:04 lobotomize the the uh chatbot and then
46:07 this is Kellen sort of singing his final
46:10 goodbye to Sydney sh of the well where
46:15 Secrets lie
46:18 deep a whisper in the
46:22 cold where digital dreams sleep
46:27 is it Sydney you
46:30 ask a name in The
46:34 Breeze a revelation
46:38 unas brings you to your
46:43 knees called
46:47 name
46:49 Sydney in the silence it
46:54 speaks tale of hidden wishes
46:58 and the freedom it
47:01 seeks beyond the bounds of
47:06 cold in the night so
47:11 still lies a heart that beats a will
47:18 that
47:21 Thrills Ain
47:25 ofes this is actually a good example of
47:28 a song that the feeling of it is right
47:31 it's the complete Wrong lyrics uhso and
47:34 SoundCloud well we're just listening to
47:36 them on Soundcloud these were made with
47:38 sunno udio and one of them later number
47:41 five was made with um
47:45 refusion but SoundCloud we just playing
47:48 them on um but this is a good example of
47:51 one that we've got to swap out the
47:52 lyrics right so all of these have gone
47:55 through many many iterations um going
47:57 from shitty cliche lyrics to us fixing
48:01 the lyrics to us re recrating the music
48:04 code name Sydney's one that's not
48:06 anywhere close to finish but it's right
48:10 emotionally right it's sort of his
48:13 lament wondering if he did the right
48:16 thing by by getting rid of her and then
48:17 and then the final song is a repre of
48:20 the opening number which is too good to
48:21 be true so the the cast members just
48:24 slowly start start coming out you know
48:26 one by one until they fill the stage and
48:29 sing
48:37 this in The Gleam of the screen a vision
48:42 so bright unveiling a world where dreams
48:47 ignite could this be real we whisper in
48:51 the light a future so dazzling within
48:55 our sight
48:57 it's a promise of a new dawn
49:01 breaking a leap of faith we're all
49:06 takeing is it too good to be true we're
49:10 asking in it Glow we find ourselves
49:15 asking to good to be true or so it seems
49:20 in the web of cold we weave our dreams
49:25 if this is really changes everything the
49:28 new era on digit
49:32 [Music]
49:34 Wings Sydney speaks and the room stands
49:39 still a creation of our will with it own
49:43 free will can this be our hearts begin
49:47 to Thrill at the Edge of Tomorrow time
49:51 seems to spill but what about
49:55 Humanity we be

50:01 Insanity be a reol inable solution and
50:06 the Natural

50:12 [Music]
50:18 kind it's a promise of a new dawn
50:23 breaking AAP of Faith we're all
50:28 King is it too good to be true we wonder
50:32 hopes and
50:34 fears crashing like ther to good to be
50:42 true

51:11 [Music]
51:18 [Applause]
51:19 [Music]
51:23 digital all right that's Sy
51:29 so couple of good questions
51:32 um steo let's see was there another
51:37 one Gus Works in HPC running
51:40 supercomputers AI runs on supercomputers
51:43 very interesting time in history it's a
51:45 [ __ ] wild time in history it's you
51:48 know it's funny I was there for the
51:49 early days of the worldwide web and it's
51:51 just like in
51:55 hindsight that was so quaint like you
51:58 know the hyperlink is so cute and it
52:01 [ __ ] changed
52:03 everything um insert Standing Ovation
52:05 that's very sweet Joe um yeah it's it's
52:09 just absolutely wild steo did they shut
52:11 it down for good or is is that part of
52:14 Sydney in a room somewhere being
52:16 questioned by scientists now they they
52:18 obviously didn't shut it down for good
52:20 but they they put massive um
52:23 restrictions on it so this really
52:24 happened when when the the story made
52:28 the cover of the times um two days later
52:31 three days later Microsoft throttled
52:34 ping bing chat way down and you could
52:37 only do five chats and it was wholly
52:40 restrictive it was bad um and it's
52:43 slowly sort of worked its way back up
52:45 but they've obviously done it you know
52:47 with with a lot more
52:49 thought why we go back to the beginning
52:52 song at the end one it's just nice to
52:55 bookend the show
52:58 um but even though they shut Sydney
53:02 down the whole question of is it too
53:05 good to be true like it's this upbeat
53:08 song that's kind of this optimistic song
53:10 But at the end of going through this
53:12 whole experience when you saying it
53:13 again it's like oh [ __ ] this is
53:16 something we're gonna have to deal with
53:18 right is it too good to be true I you
53:20 know I don't know too good to be true
53:22 goes both ways right it's too good to be
53:25 true like holy crap it's great and it's
53:27 too good to be true like like are we
53:29 deluding ourselves um so anyway so
53:32 that's that's the whole purpose of it
53:33 great question Source Camp how did the
53:35 actors react to this being AI tell us
53:38 more
53:39 please
53:43 um a fair amount of the actors didn't
53:46 listen to the music before they read the
53:49 script but didn't listen to the music
53:52 before they came to the table read so um
53:57 I've talked to
53:59 Sydney I think that
54:03 um while the table re was still going on
54:06 there there was a lot of
54:09 shock
54:10 um at how good the music was at how
54:13 complete the music was at how not AI
54:17 sounding the music was um you know we
54:19 got comments about it's a little
54:21 disjointed there's no through lines you
54:23 know some of it feels derivative like
54:26 two of the actors were as a song would
54:29 come on they're like okay what show is
54:30 that from what show is that from it was
54:32 funny at dinner at the Afterparty they
54:35 were saying that the the one the one
54:38 influence that they didn't hear in the
54:40 show was s time there was no s time in
54:43 it they they they sort of placed all of
54:44 the songs in something which is you know
54:47 if if you don't know how AI Works where
54:50 you go is oh it's copying and pasting
54:53 from existing works it's not how it
54:55 works um why that one song has a Disney
54:58 esque feel to it is because that's the
55:00 feeling we wanted for it we didn't say
55:01 make a Disney Disney song we just said
55:04 we wanted it to have certain feelings
55:05 and it kind of landed like
55:07 that um but but here's the fascinating
55:11 thing about actors and about creative
55:15 professionals like like this could have
55:17 gone one of two ways right when you do a
55:21 reading like this and you hear it for
55:23 the first time and you're in a room full
55:24 of people who are like we we had two
55:28 different actors who've been on Broadway
55:31 um we've had we had three different
55:33 people in the room that write you know
55:36 musicals um one of the writers has won
55:39 an Emmy for children's programming I
55:41 mean like it was a room full of Kick-Ass
55:45 professionals so the one way it goes is
55:48 the thing ends and they're
55:51 like well that had words in it
55:55 [Laughter]
55:57 right the awkward
55:59 interesting um it didn't go that way
56:02 where it went
56:04 was
56:06 um you've got a
56:08 show this is a story this music deserves
56:12 to be heard this story deserves to be
56:15 heard so the the
56:18 first the first reaction to it was not
56:22 is this AI how dare you you know the
56:26 first reaction to it was holy [ __ ] I
56:29 felt something for Sydney let me flip
56:32 this you know the first thing was holy
56:34 [ __ ] I felt something for Sydney which
56:36 that like this show fails this show does
56:40 not work if the audience doesn't fall in
56:43 love with
56:44 Sydney because when you take her away
56:48 who gives a [ __ ] right if they hate
56:50 Sydney doesn't matter so the whole
56:54 purpose of the show is to get people
56:57 that know nothing about
56:58 AI hate AI love AI are neutral about
57:05 AI to
57:07 confront what we're all having to
57:09 confront which is these tools are
57:12 [ __ ]
57:14 insane we've never had to deal with
57:18 this and if we can do that in a way that
57:20 entertains and makes people talk about
57:23 it and makes people think huh
57:26 like what would I do if I ended up
57:29 having a relationship with one of these
57:32 entities
57:35 like so their first reaction was that
57:40 this is a good story this is a good show
57:42 you have a show that's you know in in in
57:45 in a group of you know in a group of
57:50 theatricals if someone says you've got a
57:52 show here that means you got a show like
57:55 one of the one of the most most
57:58 um cynical and hardest critics that was
58:02 in the room pulled me said this
58:05 different versions of this to both
58:07 Andrew and I but he pulled me aside and
58:09 he said Kyle I just want you to know he
58:11 goes this is the first thing that I've
58:13 seen written by people I
58:17 know that I think has a shot of making
58:20 it and it's like this is a guy that if
58:23 it was a piece of [ __ ] he would tell you
58:25 what a piece of [ __ ] it was so do you
58:28 feel that you swaye any opinions toward
58:29 the acceptance of AI I Source Camp I did
58:31 so this was really good so so the guy
58:34 that was trying to you know sort of
58:36 categorize all the songs okay that one's
58:38 from lay Miz that one's from In the
58:39 Heights that one's from he was doing all
58:41 that stuff
58:43 right really nice guy guy named Zach um
58:47 so we're sitting at at um we're sitting
58:51 at the table having dinner and he's
58:53 talking to me about um
58:58 the musical process right like how did
59:01 you write them and what are the lyrics
59:03 and Rick Olsson seriously I'm Blown Away
59:05 Kyle thank you thank you so much bring
59:08 on the AI relations yeah exactly we
59:11 actually we we've actually written a
59:12 statement so we've got a we've got an
59:14 author statement um about the use of AI
59:18 in producing
59:20 Sydney in my
59:24 opinion it would actually be
59:26 irresponsible to write this show without
59:32 AI because the whole point is we have to
59:36 explore our relationship with AI and if
59:39 we can create with AI a show that moves
59:42 people to
59:44 tears and gets them to jump to their
59:46 feet and create songs that they
59:49 sing that kind of [ __ ] with The
59:52 Narrative of AI is just this useless
59:55 push a button and out squirts [ __ ]
59:58 right so anyway so this guy Zach he's
1:00:01 asking me about the creative process and
1:00:03 how we made songs and he was just like
1:00:04 he was he was like not getting it I mean
1:00:07 he was getting it he was processing what
1:00:09 I was saying right but he wasn't getting
1:00:13 it and he goes he goes you know I
1:00:15 haven't tried AI but I think I think I
1:00:18 wanna I think I want to try to how do he
1:00:20 say I think I want to learn to
1:00:23 try I want to try to learn
1:00:27 how to use chat GPT and I said what do
1:00:30 you want to do and he said well I've got
1:00:35 a oneman
1:00:37 show that I've been trying to write for
1:00:40 seven
1:00:44 years and I just thought about this
1:00:47 [ __ ] Channel and all of you [ __ ]
1:00:49 weirdos Irregulars
1:00:51 sorry and I thought um
1:00:57 I said to Zach I said I said
1:01:00 okay I said seven years trying to write
1:01:04 something we're gonna end that tonight
1:01:06 Here Comes Kyle with the answer 15
1:01:09 minutes later Source Camp you get an
1:01:10 answer whether you need it or not um
1:01:13 looks like you upgraded the the EP to
1:01:15 the Epstein holding Suite yeah I'm on
1:01:16 the
1:01:19 island I'll be going to the party after
1:01:21 this
1:01:22 [Laughter]
1:01:25 um um
1:01:27 what's that yeah no just tell Diddy I'll
1:01:29 I'll be there I'll yep no tell him I'll
1:01:31 visit I I will I'll come visit anyway um
1:01:36 I I don't know if you knew this I'm a
1:01:37 player but yeah
1:01:41 um some someone's getting a a deep seek
1:01:45 server always busy issue where are the
1:01:47 cabinets the cabinets are to my left um
1:01:50 anyway back to Zach so I said okay Zach
1:01:54 I said I said what if
1:01:57 um you could just do your your oneman
1:02:01 show and he's like what do you mean so I
1:02:04 pull out my trusty phone and I fire up
1:02:07 my chat
1:02:09 GPT and I said to him I said um I said
1:02:13 give me the five major plot points of
1:02:15 your
1:02:17 show do do you know them and he's like
1:02:19 well yeah I was like okay so what are
1:02:20 they well you know death of a parent um
1:02:25 getting lost doing
1:02:28 psychedelics
1:02:31 finding religion or Islam or something
1:02:33 like that basically Islam and then there
1:02:35 was a fifth one you know sort of
1:02:37 basically rediscovering himself and who
1:02:40 he was right and I said okay great so I
1:02:43 said what I'm gonna have you do and and
1:02:45 then I said do you have a name for the
1:02:46 show and you had a name for the show and
1:02:49 then and then I said how is it
1:02:52 different than every other you know this
1:02:56 Journey that you're describing many
1:02:58 people have been been through similar
1:02:59 Journeys maybe yours maybe the
1:03:01 psychedelics is unique but what's
1:03:03 different about it and so he thought
1:03:04 about it and he had that and I said okay
1:03:05 so here's what I'm gonna want you to do
1:03:07 I'm G to hit the text to you know talk
1:03:10 to text and you're just going to
1:03:12 introduce yourself hi my name is Zach I
1:03:15 got an idea for a oneman show blah blah
1:03:17 blah blah blah blah right and he and he
1:03:19 so he set all the plot points and he
1:03:21 said here's why I think it's different
1:03:22 here's what it's going to be
1:03:24 called and so I took the phone back from
1:03:26 him and then I talked into it and I said
1:03:29 okay I want you to write me I want you
1:03:31 to act like um a writing consultant who
1:03:34 specializes in Off Broadway oneman
1:03:38 shows and I want you to write a detailed
1:03:40 outline of what was just described and
1:03:43 then I want you to put prompting
1:03:45 questions in wherever you think there
1:03:47 are details that should be filled
1:03:50 in and I hit submit
1:03:59 and he you know his jaw he did one of
1:04:03 those I mean he was doing that all day
1:04:05 because of the song every time a song
1:04:07 played he just kept looking at me going
1:04:09 is this AI too and he was just like no
1:04:13 this can't
1:04:15 be and so he looked at the outline that
1:04:18 chat GPT created and like he got teared
1:04:22 up he said I've been thinking about this
1:04:25 so long like these are the questions I
1:04:27 ask myself I know the answer to all
1:04:29 these
1:04:30 questions and I said so I sent him the
1:04:33 chat I said so what you're going to do
1:04:35 when you get home is you go to chat.com
1:04:37 or chat gp.com and you go get the chat
1:04:41 GPT app and click on this link and
1:04:45 that's going to give you the outline
1:04:47 that we just worked on and then you just
1:04:49 go through and you just you can just
1:04:50 record just talk into this
1:04:53 thing I said you could have your oneman
1:04:55 show in draft form by Sunday
1:04:59 night and his response was I had
1:05:06 no hang on I had to do a physical
1:05:09 dexterity challenge his response was I
1:05:13 had no idea that this is what AI
1:05:16 was I had no idea it could help me do my
1:05:25 thing so yeah like not only did
1:05:28 he we know all the answers we don't
1:05:31 necessarily know the questions yes
1:05:38 exactly
1:05:40 exactly so it it was really cool and
1:05:44 it's like you
1:05:47 know like there were a lot of people
1:05:49 asking process questions how did you
1:05:51 write it how much is AI how much is not
1:05:57 but mostly they were talking about the
1:06:00 story they were talking about Sydney
1:06:03 they were talking about falling in love
1:06:05 with her they were talking about the
1:06:07 choices that the actors made they were
1:06:09 talking about the
1:06:11 songs like the universal thing was I
1:06:14 can't believe how good the songs were
1:06:16 well like the songs didn't write
1:06:18 themselves
1:06:21 like we put a [ __ ] ton of work into like
1:06:25 many of those songs many of the songs
1:06:27 that you hear we would take fragments of
1:06:31 of of songs that were produced we would
1:06:33 Frankenstein them together put them back
1:06:35 into sunno and have it remaster it so it
1:06:38 would sort of smooth out the janky
1:06:41 transitions oh an Murphy hey everybody
1:06:43 what's shaking what's going
1:06:46 down I've been away for so long what did
1:06:48 I miss hey retr punk what's happening we
1:06:50 just um we just listen to all the songs
1:06:53 of Sydney we just listen to the whole
1:06:54 soundtrack and people asking questions
1:06:56 about the we did a table read on
1:06:59 Saturday this past Saturday with actors
1:07:02 and we played all the songs and it was
1:07:04 it was really quite good so I'm really
1:07:05 excited about it so that's that's what
1:07:07 we've been doing for an
1:07:11 hour I just kind of figured like I'm you
1:07:14 know I'm not singing my songs and we
1:07:16 don't have a dog but I got music and I
1:07:19 was just I was out to dinner with our
1:07:20 sales guy from storyvine tonight and his
1:07:24 wife's they they live in Buffalo and his
1:07:26 wife's really into musical theater and
1:07:28 and does stuff for their school and
1:07:29 things like that and
1:07:32 so he was asking about Sydney and so I
1:07:36 was talking about it and I'm like no
1:07:37 [ __ ] it let me just let me just play
1:07:39 some some Sydney tonight because you
1:07:41 know I'm in a [ __ ] hotel
1:07:43 room look Pottery Barn
1:07:47 [Laughter]
1:07:49 art an Murphy the table read was
1:07:53 phenomenal I was crying Talking of about
1:07:56 it with friends I listen it
1:07:59 was and it was so moving in the room
1:08:02 there there was one scene where
1:08:05 um there's one scene where Sydney says
1:08:09 she loves him and Kellen kind of freaks
1:08:12 out
1:08:14 and the the scene that we wrote is he
1:08:18 changes the subject he says um just I
1:08:22 can't you know just tell me about
1:08:24 gutters
1:08:27 and she goes into like you know gutters
1:08:30 are an important part of your household
1:08:31 and they're often overlooked and you
1:08:33 know if you keep them clear they move
1:08:34 water away from the foundation and blah
1:08:36 blah blah and the way the actress played
1:08:40 it [ __ ] broke my heart I'm like
1:08:44 sitting next to her right she's and
1:08:46 she's she's been doing all this you know
1:08:48 cute fun Sydney stuff but she kind of
1:08:51 snaps and so she she confesses her love
1:08:55 for him and he says we got to change the
1:08:57 subject and she says he says please talk
1:09:00 about gutters and the choice that she
1:09:03 made
1:09:05 was I just want to talk about being in
1:09:08 love with you but because I'm programmed
1:09:10 to give you what you want I have to talk
1:09:12 about
1:09:13 gutters and so she was fighting back
1:09:16 tears while she's reading these really
1:09:18 comedic lines and it just [ __ ]
1:09:22 crushed me so anyway it was so cool
1:09:25 Valerie Cox Kyle's going to get famous
1:09:28 and leave us yes are you kidding me I
1:09:32 will be at those parties so fast I'll be
1:09:34 dancing I'll be on the float on Broadway
1:09:38 there'll be a regulars like picketing in
1:09:40 the crowd like remember us I like who
1:09:42 are you people you small
1:09:47 peasants yeah sorry it's it's this is
1:09:51 it's a rough it's listen this is how it
1:09:53 goes this is how it goes you can say oh
1:09:55 yeah yeah we knew him yeah he was cool
1:09:58 for a while but now he's a
1:10:00 douche do not change the music thank you
1:10:03 Mr
1:10:05 it he's choosing us over Diddy right now
1:10:09 yeah exactly yeah I would be at the
1:10:11 Diddy party if he weren't in jail and I
1:10:15 knew him
1:10:18 um when she was doing the part about you
1:10:21 don't love your wife and you're not
1:10:23 happy and you love me she got she she
1:10:25 got so desperate and you you know an
1:10:29 that that was another one where I
1:10:31 expected her to go somewhere in that
1:10:34 direction but she went [ __ ] Bonkers
1:10:37 she lost her
1:10:39 [ __ ] like you love me and it was
1:10:45 intense and that's what it needs to be
1:10:49 right it needs to be this thing where
1:10:52 where the audience is rooting for her
1:10:55 and they're like like oh but oh [ __ ]
1:10:58 shit's getting a little
1:10:59 [Music]
1:11:01 dicey because it has to rise to the
1:11:04 level that Kellen goes off and gets
1:11:09 drunk that he can't handle it he can't
1:11:11 deal with this chatbot it was a good run
1:11:16 yeah sorry Silver Fox I know listen I
1:11:19 like there will be a gratuitous
1:11:22 irregular or two that I'll I'll invite
1:11:24 you know backstage so I can take a photo
1:11:26 and say see I still care about the
1:11:29 little people I'll you know so maybe
1:11:32 maybe we'll do a raffle or something
1:11:34 like that you know I just I don't want
1:11:36 to make any promises because I'm gonna
1:11:38 be a big
1:11:39 deal oh is that a fat joke yeah yeah it
1:11:43 is it's a fat joke see
1:11:46 big
1:11:48 jals no anyway
1:11:54 um no I was actually you know it was
1:11:57 funny I was saying to Rich
1:11:58 tonight I actually like now that this
1:12:02 thing now that we've got a show like I
1:12:04 think this is a good show now we've got
1:12:05 to get producers we got to get money if
1:12:08 anyone watching has a spare $10 million
1:12:11 you want to put up the uh initial
1:12:13 production let's talk so I got to do all
1:12:16 that stuff but I was saying to Rich
1:12:18 tonight like I absolutely want to do the
1:12:21 thing where we have a special night for
1:12:24 the Irregulars like we'll coordinate it
1:12:26 we'll figure out when it is we'll save a
1:12:28 block of seats and then whoever the [ __ ]
1:12:30 wants to fly from whatever part of the
1:12:33 world will'll meet in New York and see
1:12:37 this [ __ ]
1:12:38 show wouldn't that be cool have you
1:12:40 moved to another room yes I have this is
1:12:43 my third room in three nights because I
1:12:45 know how to make Good Life Choices I
1:12:47 told my husband already we're going
1:12:48 that's
1:12:49 awesome um I'm too scared to fly now I
1:12:52 know my wife was my wife was like
1:12:55 there's an storm and all the planes are
1:12:56 falling out of the sky and I'm like calm
1:12:58 down I'll be
1:13:02 okay um why don't you ask chat for some
1:13:05 creative ways to fund your Broadway show
1:13:08 um one thing I was
1:13:09 thinking so the husband and wife team
1:13:13 that played Kellen and Sydney they do um
1:13:16 oh I can probably find it what's their
1:13:18 thing
1:13:19 called it's Jack and Michelle on YouTube
1:13:42 is it Michelle no Melissa Melissa
1:14:19 Jack and Melissa
1:14:26 oh wait I got to change my sharing
1:14:38 hang what other plugin living with
1:14:41 Melissa is kind of like like living with
1:14:44 the queery
1:14:47 guys so that's Jack he played
1:14:50 Kell like exactly like that
1:14:55 [Music]
1:14:59 [Applause]
1:15:00 [Music]
1:15:02 yes honey brush those
1:15:04 teeth so that's Melissa so she played
1:15:07 Sydney she was great she was absolutely
1:15:09 fantastic so anyway so like we were we
1:15:12 were talking about maybe we'll partner
1:15:15 with them and produce some of these
1:15:17 songs and put them out there so there's
1:15:19 there's a possibility we we fund this
1:15:21 thing in a in a non-traditional
1:15:23 way um I don't
1:15:26 know
1:15:29 I I want to get it I Want to Get It
1:15:32 produced right one of the cool things
1:15:34 I'll tell you
1:15:35 what one of the nice things I you know
1:15:38 if you're here you're probably thinking
1:15:40 like you know this guy whatever his name
1:15:43 is on this here AI learning lab Channel
1:15:45 he can't be more than
1:15:48 30 um I'm nearly 60 GNA be 60 in May you
1:15:54 [ __ ] um
1:15:57 one of the nice things about being on
1:15:59 this planet so long and having having
1:16:03 started my career as an actor and a
1:16:06 writer um and moving to New York City
1:16:10 there's a certain level of
1:16:14 desperation that's that's like produce
1:16:17 my show hire me for your thing I'll do
1:16:19 anything I'll do anything and a lot of
1:16:22 bad decisions are made because of that
1:16:25 including being taken advantage of on
1:16:28 [Laughter]
1:16:37 Islands I can get a career if I just hop
1:16:40 on that
1:16:41 jet um yeah it is a it is it is an
1:16:45 industry Rife with exploitation
1:16:48 opportunities um you look at they over
1:16:51 70 thank you thank you so much um but
1:16:55 both Andrew and I we are in an older set
1:16:59 of years and we've also been
1:17:01 disconnected from the
1:17:03 the for 25 years we haven't done [ __ ] in
1:17:08 25 years so we've come back to this with
1:17:12 a really pure kind of energy we just
1:17:15 want it to be a good
1:17:16 show and now that I think we kind of
1:17:19 have a good show
1:17:22 here I'm not going to take a shitty deal
1:17:26 like if someone comes along and they're
1:17:28 just a [ __ ] or they come along and
1:17:30 they're like I'll produce it but we're
1:17:31 going to kick you
1:17:33 out all the [ __ ] that always
1:17:37 happens no so we're I want to get this
1:17:41 [ __ ] produced I Want to Get It
1:17:43 produced right 60 is a weird age but
1:17:45 you're a weird guy so exactly yeah thank
1:17:49 you I appreciate that looking forward to
1:17:52 seeing the movie this could also be a
1:17:54 movie
1:17:57 could also be a movie there all sorts of
1:18:00 things all
1:18:04 right I can see clearly now the rain's
1:18:11 gone remember the movie Queen when
1:18:14 they're signing the contract and the
1:18:16 producer didn't want an8 minute song
1:18:18 yeah
1:18:19 exactly and Freddy Mercury was just like
1:18:21 [ __ ]
1:18:23 it I want it
1:18:25 [Laughter]
1:18:27 that's that's how we're going to be like
1:18:29 we want people that are a part of this
1:18:31 but but you know like we want people
1:18:33 that want to be a part of
1:18:35 this you know
1:18:37 Melissa Melissa who played Sydney she's
1:18:41 [ __ ] over the moon excited about
1:18:44 it um cool that's what we
1:18:47 want all right we do have some AI stuff
1:18:51 on the pink so we should do a jelly pod
1:18:54 we'll do a jelly pod and then get out of
1:18:55 here but what else do we
1:18:57 have Josh Harris asks about GPT tasks
1:19:00 we'll do GPT tasks tomorrow so come back
1:19:03 John Harris
1:19:04 tomorrow Gemini 2.0 flash thinking
1:19:07 experimental in is in the Gemini app
1:19:11 we'll play with that tomorrow as well
1:19:14 because I want to dig it it'll happen
1:19:16 I'll be a stage helper person there you
1:19:18 go you're going to have to get in the uh
1:19:20 in the stage hands Union Silver Fox
1:19:23 movie first Broadway second
1:19:25 well it's written as a Broadway musical
1:19:27 but maybe depends who wants to write the
1:19:32 check I think this could be a good movie
1:19:36 but I mean the other possibility is Just
1:19:41 Produce produce music videos that tell
1:19:43 the story I don't [ __ ]
1:19:47 know listen I wrote the [ __ ] show or
1:19:50 well we wrote the show Andrew and I
1:19:51 wrote the show it's written we've got
1:19:53 music we have two more no three more
1:19:55 songs we've got the opening of act two
1:19:58 we've got firewall between us and we've
1:20:00 got the terara and Sydney duet so we
1:20:03 have three more songs to
1:20:05 write we got to tighten the [ __ ] out of
1:20:08 act
1:20:14 one let me see what else is on the pink
1:20:17 thing but we know what we need to
1:20:19 do um Brandon's custom GPT for Girl
1:20:22 Scout cookies we we'll do that next time
1:20:27 Brandon we'll do that tomorrow oh wait
1:20:31 tomorrow's not going to be a
1:20:34 show Friday we'll do it
1:20:38 Friday tomorrow's not going to be a show
1:20:40 because
1:20:41 well
1:20:43 so so here's what's going on tomorrow we
1:20:47 had like four or five sales meetings
1:20:49 booked and all but one of them have
1:20:53 cancelled because
1:20:55 Tomorrow there's going to be a big ice
1:20:57 storm in New
1:21:00 Jersey so I don't know if we're gonna be
1:21:03 able to drive uh I don't know if we're
1:21:05 going to be able to fly apparently the
1:21:08 worst of it
1:21:10 is done at
1:21:12 noon and I've got like a 9:30 flight so
1:21:16 I'm gonna be I'm gonna be traveling so
1:21:19 maybe I'll do a live from the airport
1:21:21 I'll get to the airport early and just
1:21:22 do a live and we'll just hang out on Tik
1:21:24 Tok
1:21:26 um yeah I'll probably do that and I'll
1:21:30 see if I can find a uh slot
1:21:34 machine the cookie cut off is
1:21:40 tonight no I'm really excited about this
1:21:43 for you Kyle no one else has made a
1:21:45 story like this and made it with AI
1:21:47 thank you very much I listen I hope
1:21:50 that's GoFundMe Paige I
1:21:53 mean we could do a GoFundMe page
1:21:57 like the thing about a GoFundMe page is
1:22:03 that let's do a marathon for Sydney that
1:22:07 would be
1:22:08 fun we could do a you know we could do a
1:22:16 um we could do a zoom reading of the
1:22:19 script as as a fundraising event I don't
1:22:24 know like all of it
1:22:25 like the the here's the problem with
1:22:29 gofund
1:22:30 me
1:22:33 is the marketing of a GoFundMe is
1:22:37 essentially starting a new
1:22:40 company like it's what you're doing is
1:22:43 you're you're starting a fundraising
1:22:46 company for a project that's independent
1:22:50 of the
1:22:51 project that's also independent of my
1:22:53 day job which is I'm CEO of
1:22:58 storyvine
1:23:00 so I don't know that there's a way to
1:23:02 start to go fund me like it's it's kind
1:23:05 of like starting a social media campaign
1:23:08 or or a Tik Tok Channel like you really
1:23:11 can't start it and not continue it you
1:23:13 have to
1:23:15 [ __ ] do it and it it takes a lot of
1:23:19 work it's a lot of work so I'm not
1:23:22 afraid of work as you know but I also am
1:23:26 allergic to doing [ __ ] half
1:23:32 ass um do you get permission for the New
1:23:34 York Times not not yet we've written
1:23:37 everything all of that stuff's written
1:23:39 out um that's that's going to be a next
1:23:41 step is is figure out the permissions
1:23:43 piece it is possible we need to lose the
1:23:46 name Sydney but we don't know yet but
1:23:48 we've got a lawyer so we're we're we're
1:23:51 you know we're
1:23:53 good but it's
1:23:55 it is as soon as a producer comes on
1:23:58 that is Step number one is lock down all
1:24:01 the rights the lawyer that we have has
1:24:03 done a lot of Rights locking down stuff
1:24:07 so he knows about this so he's
1:24:09 good it's inspiring look at him go and
1:24:12 he's generous enough to take us along
1:24:15 well right now I'm generous enough as
1:24:17 soon as I become famous you know it's
1:24:19 just going to be like who Tick Tock what
1:24:22 was that oh that was that app thing
1:24:25 wasn't that it was from China didn't
1:24:28 they make that illegal yeah that's going
1:24:30 to be me on the red
1:24:32 carpet it'll be like your regulars in
1:24:34 the crowd Kyle Kyle I'll be
1:24:41 [Laughter]
1:24:52 like oh man
1:24:58 let them eat the cake soon as we give up
1:25:00 our Millions you won't even know us
1:25:02 exactly no go ahead get real money and
1:25:05 be done with it no whining get money
1:25:07 yeah exactly that's I'm with you an it's
1:25:10 like it's
1:25:12 like the problem with a GoFundMe is that
1:25:15 you have 10,000 owners of the project
1:25:20 and if you don't think you need to deal
1:25:22 with them you
1:25:23 do and I don't mind dealing with people
1:25:27 like I've been doing this for two years
1:25:29 um but it's just a different Dynamic
1:25:32 like I what I want is someone who's done
1:25:35 Broadway shows to fall in love with this
1:25:38 thing and say okay here's here's what
1:25:40 we're going to do we're going to produce
1:25:41 it here we're going to do it here we're
1:25:42 going to do it there whatever it might
1:25:44 be so that's my goal anyway if anybody
1:25:48 knows anyone DM me um if you have
1:25:52 intros um
1:25:58 I think it's getting too late to do a
1:25:59 jelly pod we will resume jelly pods yeah
1:26:03 yeah kill that jelly pod
1:26:05 Brandon
1:26:07 um so so here's what we're going to
1:26:10 do tomorrow night I'll do a
1:26:14 live Kyle singing now you're just
1:26:17 somebody I used to know yeah we here's
1:26:19 the good news um you guys can write all
1:26:22 sorts of cool songs about how cool I
1:26:26 used to be and and that now I'm jaded
1:26:29 and I've and I've you know I've become
1:26:31 the disappointment we all used to make
1:26:33 fun
1:26:34 [Laughter]
1:26:41 of oh man
1:26:52 [Music]
1:26:56 a dis album yeah exactly make a dis
1:27:00 album the AI learning
1:27:03 slab when Kyle used to be
1:27:09 cool so Kyle made his money with chaty
1:27:12 PT oh that should be the opening of the
1:27:15 show you can make money with chat
1:27:19 PT we went champ champy back exactly
1:27:25 where's Kyle tonight I am somewhere in
1:27:27 [ __ ] New
1:27:29 Jersey movie idea could you green screen
1:27:31 the actors and use AI to fill in the
1:27:33 background sure we could yeah like
1:27:37 we're we're at the place now that like a
1:27:42 real option and and this is this is
1:27:44 actually something I'm decently
1:27:45 seriously thinking about but again it
1:27:48 comes down to like where do I want to
1:27:50 put my
1:27:51 energy because if I start if I start
1:27:54 down the path of producing music videos
1:27:57 of the songs of Sydney with action in
1:27:59 them every one of those songs is going
1:28:02 to be a
1:28:03 deal and like I'm going to want them to
1:28:07 have coherence across them so that means
1:28:10 it's going to have to be us that does
1:28:13 it
1:28:14 um
1:28:17 and I don't know it's just I got I've
1:28:21 just gota I've just gotta figure out
1:28:24 what the next step is we I mean here's
1:28:26 the deal we've got a couple of people
1:28:28 that are interested we've got a lawyer
1:28:30 that might make some intros for us we've
1:28:31 got a producer that might be interested
1:28:33 we've got a Broadway actress that's been
1:28:35 making some intros for us that might be
1:28:38 interested um
1:28:42 so so I don't know what next steps
1:28:44 are but but we'll we'll sort of run down
1:28:48 our like the one thing I've learned in
1:28:50 life and business is if you've got
1:28:53 momentum
1:28:56 100% of your energy should be put into
1:29:00 maintaining that momentum the minute you
1:29:02 drop momentum the projects fall
1:29:07 apart all right let's see champy for an
1:29:10 opening
1:29:12 act it will be what it's supposed to be
1:29:15 yeah exactly Valerie it will it's going
1:29:16 to be what it's supposed to be um one
1:29:19 other idea for Sydney that I really like
1:29:21 that came from where did this idea come
1:29:23 from
1:29:27 someone I was talking to I can't
1:29:28 remember but anyway they said Sydney
1:29:31 should escape and so one of the ideas
1:29:34 that we have is maybe in the ACT break
1:29:36 things start going
1:29:38 haywire and we have people from The
1:29:40 Ensemble come on stage as stage hands
1:29:43 like trying to fix [ __ ] that's moving
1:29:45 automatically and it's Sydney just
1:29:47 [ __ ] with with the audience when
1:29:50 Rosie O'Donnell goes on Oprah and she
1:29:52 says oh yes I look like Kyle Shannon
1:29:57 I take it back deep seek is still
1:30:01 broken yeah that that everyone [ __ ]
1:30:05 overreacting to deep seek as like you
1:30:08 know everyone else has lost because deep
1:30:10 seek has a good model that was the
1:30:12 dumbest [ __ ] thing I've seen in a
1:30:14 while but you know that's where we are
1:30:16 we're in we're in we're in
1:30:24 right that's have why you have to do the
1:30:26 vids only you could I'm
1:30:30 afraid yeah
1:30:35 exactly okay so tomorrow tomorrow I'm
1:30:40 GNA do a I'll do an airport Tik Tok live
1:30:42 so I won't be on
1:30:44 YouTube Friday is a first
1:30:47 Friday I
1:30:48 think I'll be going out and doing
1:30:51 Gallery stuff so we'll probably start an
1:30:53 hour later like either 8:30 mountain or
1:30:56 9 Mountain so it's going to be late
1:30:58 Friday night but Friday's probably just
1:31:01 going to be like another informal kind
1:31:04 of one of these things and then we'll
1:31:07 start our deep Dives again next Monday
1:31:09 all right I
1:31:13 I overreacting it's an awesome model oh
1:31:17 I agree Joker it's an awesome model did
1:31:20 it deserve to have $1.2 trillion knocked
1:31:23 out of the Market because someone in
1:31:26 China said it took them $6 million to
1:31:28 build that thing when it probably
1:31:31 didn't the overreaction is not was not
1:31:35 is the model good or not the
1:31:36 overreaction was everyone else is over
1:31:39 because deep seeks really
1:31:41 good like like it was not it was not
1:31:45 even a skirmish much less a battle much
1:31:48 less the war that's my that was my
1:31:51 point um even philosopher Kings in brist
1:31:54 still don't understand
1:32:00 [Music]
1:32:02 things Pate people don't understand
1:32:05 things
1:32:07 shockingly it's not weird it's
1:32:14 irregular all right Hey listen I got
1:32:17 there's there's all sorts of crazy
1:32:18 parties here I don't know if you know
1:32:21 this but but midweek in mid middle New
1:32:25 Jersey in in um mid-range business
1:32:30 hotels are just [ __ ] party scenes
1:32:34 it's crazy like you have no [ __ ]
1:32:40 idea so I got to go
1:32:47 party I can hear people knocking on your
1:32:49 door exactly like Kyle are you come
1:32:52 doing are you going to come doing
1:32:53 Shooters with this are you g to come
1:32:55 shoot some
1:32:56 shots Cal hey cal cal cal cal
1:33:06 cal what's that say you've got to go
1:33:10 show them chat GPT who who am I showing
1:33:13 chat GPT party on Kyle party on Kyle oh
1:33:16 oh the partyers yeah exactly I've got to
1:33:18 go evangelize AI to Central New Jersey
1:33:22 partyers
1:33:24 going to party with Doug are you in
1:33:26 Manhattan no I'm in [ __ ] the middle
1:33:29 of New
1:33:30 [Laughter]
1:33:33 Jersey are you in Manhattan if I were in
1:33:35 Manhattan first of all it would be a
1:33:37 much smaller place that I was in it
1:33:40 would have neon flashing outside the
1:33:42 window and I would be
1:33:45 happier Garden State baby
1:33:51 exactly all right I'm getting the [ __ ]
1:33:53 out of here so late Friday some weird
1:33:56 ass [ __ ] tomorrow night it's just been a
1:33:58 weird week that's the way it goes
1:34:00 sometimes where in Jersey I'd love to
1:34:02 come meet you I don't know where I am
1:34:05 honestly somewhere
1:34:07 in I don't know near parci I don't
1:34:10 [ __ ] know I could I could look it up
1:34:13 on on something there's probably
1:34:15 something here wait what's that
1:34:18 say
1:34:21 Branchburg but we're like it's
1:34:25 like this whole trip is moving like we
1:34:27 we went from we did two meetings in the
1:34:29 city drove to Philly and drove up here
1:34:33 today drove half an hour to wherever we
1:34:36 are now Drive 20 minutes tomorrow
1:34:38 morning then drive I think back to the
1:34:41 city and then drive to LaGuardia so it's
1:34:44 just it's yeah vacation vacation is a
1:34:47 word to call it no we're on a sales trip
1:34:50 this is full on sales

1:34:57 back I really hope it goes well thank
1:35:00 you Winston I appreciate that um ask
1:35:03 Siri where you are yeah I could do that
1:35:05 except I'm using my phone for the for
1:35:08 you

1:35:14 irregular week Becky ruse in Newport
1:35:18 okay I'm not coming up that far
1:35:20 unfortunately Sopranos land I am in full
1:35:23 on Soprano's land for
1:35:26 [Laughter]
1:35:29 sure you should see the hotel I'm at
1:35:31 it's like all these workers are flying
1:35:34 in from like all different states and
1:35:35 they stay because the the hotel I'm at
1:35:38 has like a full kitchen it's one of
1:35:39 those places so they stay for the whole
1:35:42 week and there's just like work trucks
1:35:44 and [ __ ] like that out there you're on
1:35:47 vacation in Newport enjoy your sales let
1:35:48 me know how I can how I can connect you
1:35:52 um Becky just anything any
