14. 3:13it's Monday night, so it's kind of a free-for-all. I can talk about whatever the hell I want to talk about, which,
15. 3:19you know, it's my show, so I can do that anyway. But I gave myself permission on Monday that I can just go nuts.
16. 3:26But I actually think what I'm going to do tonight is in real time actually try to understand the different components
17. 3:36of chat GPT now. [laughter] Oh man, what's happening? It is. It is. It's crazy. It's crazy what's happening right now. Um,
18. 3:52Anthropic. So, so here's the deal. Anthropic realizes, hey, I got an idea. If we tell the world that our little model here is so
19. 4:03powerful they can't have it, everyone's going to want it. And then maybe we can get the government to actually shut us down. And then when
20. 4:13they turn us back on, everyone will want it. And then and then so they they did that and it made people pissed off and
21. 4:25skittery and they had to overrestrict their model and it kind of sucks now. People are pissed off about that and they keep extending
22. 4:33access to it because Open AI launched a model that wasn't as good but like didn't have the drama and so people
23. 4:41started flooding away from anthropic back to open AI which the whole reason open AI shut down Sora and went all in
24. 4:52on aentic tools is because Anthropic took a bunch of Open AI customers. So, we're in the middle of a customer acquisition war right now,
25. 5:01which we get to benefit from that. [music] But, uh, it's wild times. It's wild times. So anyway, um
26. 5:24um Open AI is shooting themselves in the foot because they said, "Fuck it. Let's lean in heavy on B2B." And so they have basically just
27. 5:38bloatweared chatbt. The brilliance of chatt was that it was just the box. It didn't have [ __ ] It was just the box.
28. 5:46You talk into the box and the genius comes back at you. Now, the genius was not super geniusy. But anyway, that's neither here nor
29. 5:58there. That's what we're going to talk about over there. We're going to go into we're going to we're going to go explore
30. 6:02the OpenAI stuff. We're going to go look at codecs and chat GPT work and where they've hidden chat GPT in the chat GPT
31. 6:10app and we're going to try to discern just what's going on. Um, it could get really boring really quick. One of the nice things about the
32. 6:19AI learning lab is that the nature of my voice will put you to sleep. So, by the time it gets boring, you'll already be snoozing. [laughter]
33. 6:31I kid. You'll be asleep long before that. [laughter] No, seriously. Uh it's insufferable. Anyway, we're

69. 12:34Now, why would you need to spelunk inside chat GPT? Because chat GPT at this point is 17 different apps. It is insane. It's insane.
70. 12:46It doesn't It makes no sense. Some of it's cloud-based, some of it's local, some of it's aic, some of it's not. I
71. 13:01I have made it my job to understand what's happening, right? Like I I I put myself in this prison. I can't keep up.
