7:49 time entrepreneur I'm the founder and
7:51 CEO of a company called storyvine happy

7:59 Sam so it it sounds like dear Sam is
8:02 back it sounds like the board is
8:04 quitting if you haven't heard any of
8:05 this news Friday before the markets
8:10 closed
8:11 Ilia um uh Ilia from open aai led a
8:16 charge to fire Sam Alman which they did
8:21 Microsoft lost $48 billion in market cap
8:24 on Friday afternoon cuz they did it
8:26 before the markets
8:28 closed Jesus
8:30 Saturday they like oh we're trying to
8:32 hire him back everything's going to be
8:34 just
8:35 fine um the employees of open AI sort of
8:40 went into a solidarity moment with uh
8:43 with Sam Alman which was really sweet
8:45 actually let me show you there's Sam
8:48 there's Sam this was the the image with
8:50 the uh with the note the first and last
8:53 time I'm ever going to wear one of these
8:55 which is that's pretty good so let's see

9:06 employes let's see if we got one of
9:11 the let's see employee
9:26 hearts of course I can't find it when
9:29 you want to find something you can't

9:40 love well somewhere somewhere on the
9:43 Twitter you can find so Alman on
9:46 Saturday said I you know I love every
9:48 every employee at open Ai and like every
9:51 single employee just replied with a
9:52 single heart emoji um the employees
9:56 basically said if the board doesn't
9:57 resign they're all going to quit on mass
9:59 and go where wherever Sam goes um so it
10:01 looks like he's back it's not clear what
10:03 his role on the board's going to
10:05 be the board apparently part of the
10:08 agreement is that the board is going to
10:10 say that Sam Alman did nothing wrong but
10:13 if they do that who's the bad guy in the
10:16 Alman ter termination I think it's Ilia
10:18 um but I
10:20 I I sense
10:23 that it was from the right place but
10:26 just done with a dramatic lack ofs
10:29 business
10:31 awareness um there's there's a lot of
10:33 researchers on the board and IL is more
10:36 of a researcher so so the basic idea is
10:38 that Ilia is on the let's go slower camp
10:42 and Sam is on the let's go faster camp
10:45 and
10:48 um apparently something happened
10:52 within uh something happened within open
10:55 AI that precipitated this some of of the
10:59 rumors are that they hit AGI or or that
11:03 they they've done something
11:06 that Ilia didn't want to put him the
11:09 world um Altman and Greg Brockman were
11:13 also in the Middle East fundraising uh
11:16 apparently they're going to try to
11:17 create a
11:18 chip uh that's a competitor to Nvidia
11:21 and they want to accelerate stuff and I
11:23 don't know you know we don't really know
11:25 yet it was a lot of Palace Intrigue but
11:27 it was definitely a coup from the
11:30 inside without a lot of planning it
11:33 seemed like and without a lot of
11:36 um communication like O say they didn't
11:40 tell
11:42 Microsoft that they were doing
11:45 this apparently Sacha Adela was pretty
11:48 [ __ ] pissed off so he's the one
11:51 that's now uh leading the conversations
11:53 to renegotiate getting Sam back in there
11:56 why is a nonprofit governing the
11:58 for-profit with with open AI so so yeah
12:00 so the the way it works
12:03 is
12:05 um open AI was initially a
12:08 nonprofit that's how it was set up it
12:11 was the why it's called open AI uh is
12:14 that it was supposed to all be open
12:16 source and then when they realized what
12:18 it could do Sam Alman said this is going
12:20 to take more money than we can raise as
12:22 a
12:22 nonprofit and we need to go Bigg or go
12:25 home and
12:27 so they they made the for-profit entity
12:32 a wholly owned chunk of the
12:35 nonprofit and they also created as
12:38 what's called a capped for-profit so
12:39 this is a very non-standard kind of
12:42 organizational structure which is this
12:44 is part of the part of the issue so you
12:46 have the nonprofit that owns The
12:48 for-profit Entity and then the capped
12:51 for-profit means that anything above
12:55 100x that that an investor gets returned
12:59 to them or you know value of the company
13:02 goes back to the
13:04 nonprofit for the benefit of humanity so
13:07 the basic premise that Sam deeply
13:10 believes is that open AI is going to
13:14 generate trillions of dollars in um
13:19 prosperity and so he wants the excess
13:22 Prosperity above 100x return for the
13:24 investors to go back into the nonprofit
13:27 to benefit Humanity
13:29 so that's that's why it's there now
13:31 whether or not you agree with it and
13:33 what it was but I think part of the
13:36 challenge was the board that made the
13:39 decision to oust Altman had a fair
13:42 amount of researchers on it that were
13:44 not business people and so they did this
13:48 thing you know I don't who knows why
13:51 they did it maybe out of good reasons
13:54 um but um they didn't think it through
13:57 and they didn't communicate and so it
13:58 just I
14:00 don't I don't think they frankly
14:04 anticipated the dramatic and consistent
14:07 blowback from everyone from the business
14:09 Community to the global Community to the
14:12 Microsoft Community to the employee
14:14 Community
14:17 like they didn't really think uh what
14:19 are we doing here so so anyway
14:22 apparently they're trying to put that
14:24 that uh egg back together right now so
14:27 greetings Lauren good to see you
14:30 um all right so this is some 5D level
14:33 chess playing going on with the elites
14:36 well I I mean listen there there will be
14:39 all sorts of conspiracy theories oh they
14:41 did this on purpose just to get
14:42 Microsoft on the board and blah blah
14:44 blah blah blah blah blah this does not
14:46 have any of the earmarks of a
14:48 sophisticated
14:50 play this this is a this is an unmi
14:54 unmitigated PR [ __ ]
14:57 Fiasco um and and just this is just like
15:01 malfeasant on a grand level and which is
15:04 why the board is resigning right
15:09 so that's that's a good one

15:25 company um you're lost about what
15:28 happened so basically Bally the the
15:29 short version is the board ousted Sam
15:33 Alman and Greg Brockman who who are
15:35 basically the business guys at open AI
15:38 um they ousted them on Friday they had
15:41 negotiations on Saturday they've sort of
15:43 announced that alman's coming back today
15:46 and that the board is resigning and
15:48 they're replacing it with a new board
15:51 but those it's all in negotiations right
15:53 now they're trying to figure out who's
15:54 going to be on the new board what the
15:56 structure is all that sort of stuff uh
15:58 and then uh by Monday morning ostensibly
16:01 open AI will be back to some form of Sam
16:04 Alman running
16:05 AI so it was all just a fever dream but
16:09 I
16:11 what what is pretty staggering is the
16:13 amount of power that they just if Sam
16:16 Alman didn't
16:17 have enough power oh my God the amount
16:21 of Leverage that dude has right now
16:24 because I guarantee you I think the the
16:26 the smallest investment offer he got was
16:29 $50 million which if I were him I would
16:32 find that
16:34 insulting so yeah I think he's probably
16:37 got a list of you know 35 different
16:40 investment groups you know willing to
16:42 invest anything he wants uh on the
16:45 sidelines if if this open AI thing
16:47 doesn't work out so so anyway so it's
16:49 just it's just it's
16:52 just silly it's it's just a silly thing
16:55 happened on Friday and they're trying to
16:58 they're trying to put put the the genie
16:59 back in the bottle but Sam's going to
17:01 have a lot more power now um wonder if
17:03 they asked chat GPT what to do
17:06 maybe blind item Alman fed D2 to GPT and
17:11 didn't disclose to the board what's

19:47 board absolves Sam Alman of any
19:51 wrongdoing then he's in position to Su
19:54 sue the living but Jesus out of
19:56 them for firing him with no you know so
20:01 they they're trying to they're trying to
20:03 find a graceful way to exit without
20:04 getting their asses sued off and
20:08 everyone's pissed off at them right now
20:12 so so I don't know I don't know what
20:15 they're
20:16 doing but uh but this is going to be a
20:19 much
20:21 more business focused board is my guess
20:24 it's it it's it it was skewed in the
20:28 direction of the nonprofit before and I
20:31 think it is going to be
20:33 um skewed more toward the commercial
20:36 side now which what this says to me is
20:39 that this that open AI will move faster
20:42 not slower or at least as fast as Alman
20:44 was moving them before I think Ilia
20:46 sukova wanted to slow them down so Ilia
20:50 is the chief scientist and and the one
20:52 that that thought they were moving too
20:54 fast considering whatever they
20:58 discovered in the p in recent weeks Sam
21:01 mman had 300,000 unre emails on
21:04 Monday to on Monday he'll have
21:07 500,000 emails that's pretty
21:11 funny is giving him more power a good
21:14 thing I don't know if it's a good thing
21:15 or a bad thing but it's it it's he like
21:18 the the amount of Leverage he has right
21:20 now he can
21:22 basically they want him back bad enough
21:24 that whatever he wants done is going to
21:26 get done do you think chat GPT will have
21:29 a downfall because of corporate
21:32 greed
21:35 um I don't know what you mean by a
21:38 downfall no I
21:40 don't what what what could possibly
21:45 happen is if it's if it's priced too too
21:51 low they'll split features up and charge
21:54 for different levels of of things Ilia
21:59 should move to grock right

22:04 Ilia Ilia won't have a board seat I
22:07 don't know if he'll stay with the
22:09 company
22:10 um Ilia was supposed was was going back
22:15 and forth between going to Google and
22:16 going to open AI so if he gets booted
22:20 from open AI which it wouldn't surprise
22:22 me um musk was the one that negotiated
22:25 getting him to open AI
22:29 away from Google so it's possible he
22:32 goes to X why do they need one why did
22:36 they want him back so badly why didn't
22:39 they see his value when they got rid of
22:42 him
22:44 because everyone everyone saw his value
22:47 except Ilia thought he was moving too
22:49 fast this was this was a coup this was
22:52 the the technolog is moving too fast
22:55 crowd at open AI um which was a a a
23:00 vocal but increasingly ignored minority
23:03 like they stripped some power away from
23:06 Ilia a month or two back
23:10 um and you know I think this was Ilia
23:14 just seeing his this was like a
23:16 desperate chance
23:19 to slow things down and and you
23:23 know do that so um it it wasn't
23:29 from a business perspective Sam Alman
23:32 turned open AI into a 90 billion doll
23:35 valuation
23:36 company in a in a very short amount of
23:39 time so and
23:41 and he's ostensibly become the voice of
23:44 AI for the past year right because no
23:47 one's come close to do what open AI has
23:50 so he's kind of the poster child he's
23:52 thoughtful he's softspoken he
23:55 understands the implications of the tech
23:57 he's been you know
24:00 um working with business and um
24:06 government to try to make sure things
24:09 are going to be well managed whether you
24:11 agree with him or not like he's been
24:13 playing a good game so that he wasn't
24:15 fired for cause he was fired because the
24:18 board voted him out in a vote of no
24:21 confidence but they didn't they never
24:23 gave any details on that right like like
24:26 I said this was not well thought out
24:29 um it was kind of a last minute thing
24:30 Sirius should we slow down
24:35 um it's a great question I don't know
24:38 let me let me flip this back since we're
24:40 having just kind of a chatty chat
24:45 um so Middle School drama got in the way
24:48 of the future of technology essentially
24:51 yes but I'll give Ilia the benefit of
24:54 the doubt if so one of the rumors going
24:57 around is that they achieved
24:59 AGI which stands for artificial general
25:04 intelligence
25:06 and a AGI is basically when these AIS
25:10 can do or
25:12 surpass you know what a what a human
25:15 being can do in almost any
25:18 um profession non-physical
25:23 profession and and
25:25 so if and when we achieve and and open
25:28 ai's mission is to achieve
25:31 AGI so if they achieved it and then you
25:35 kind of had in quick succession you had
25:39 the open AI developer day two weeks ago
25:43 where Sam Alman released the gpts and
25:47 talked about um the GPT store and
25:51 revenue sharing um and then the fin the
25:55 the next week after that he was out at a
25:57 confence confence and he was talking
25:59 about he saw something in the past
26:02 couple of weeks he said there's been
26:04 four times in his history at open AI
26:07 where he's essentially seen the future
26:09 and he said the last one happened a
26:11 couple of weeks ago so like three weeks
26:13 ago maybe so something happened three
26:16 weeks ago they made some sort of
26:18 breakthrough and then last week Sam and
26:22 I think Greg were in the Middle East
26:23 trying to do fundraising so so they were
26:25 going full bore like let's accelerate
26:29 this thing and I think Ilia if if they
26:31 achieve something that he thought should
26:33 be slowed down I think he saw this as a
26:36 necessary thing to do because that's
26:39 what he believes
26:42 um it's way above my pay grade to know
26:45 what what I'm trying to do on this
26:47 channel is just deal with what are they
26:49 handing us right now like what's in our
26:51 hands right
26:53 now um and even that over the past year
26:57 has gone gone from wow this is super
27:00 powerful stuff to like oh my God this is
27:02 super powerful stuff to the stuff we've
27:04 got now is the ability for us to just
27:08 kind of speak into existence these
27:11 incredibly sophisticated applications
27:13 like Mr Kay the teacher um the video
27:16 that he made today he take he took all
27:18 this
27:20 curriculum documentation for how
27:22 teachers have to do curriculum he
27:24 uploaded that as the knowledge base into
27:26 a GPT and he made a g PT that teachers
27:29 can go in and say based on the knowledge
27:32 that you've got of all of our rules for
27:34 how we make
27:35 curricula write a curricula for me a
27:37 curriculum for me and it goes out it
27:40 comes I found the only way to create a
27:42 GPT with fine tuning you need to put it
27:46 all in a large
27:52 prompt um you can put it in a large
27:55 prompt because it's got 128 thousand
27:58 token context window but if you you
28:01 haven't found that you've gotten it to
28:03 work with uploading knowledge to it
28:04 Pandora's Box has already been opened
28:06 yeah I mean that's kind of where I am
28:07 it's nothing political whoever made that
28:09 comment I don't know what it
28:12 was
28:16 um all right I don't know I don't know
28:18 what those comments are
28:19 um yeah I Pandora's Box is already
28:23 opened that the the the challenge is
28:28 if you've got if you've got a company
28:30 like open AI
28:34 that has cracked the code on this
28:40 stuff from a business perspective does
28:44 it make sense for them to not pursue it
28:46 and the answer is

29:53 uh I have I other than my dad was was an
29:57 Air Force p pilot I don't I don't really
29:59 know much about the military but I know
30:00 the Palante stuff was was pretty
30:03 something I mean Palante teers had AI
30:06 systems for years but what they did was
30:08 they put kind of a a large language
30:10 model layer on top of all their control
30:12 systems and said hey if you see movement
30:16 from the enemy you know come up with
30:18 ways for for us to respond to it and
30:21 then and then they said but built into
30:23 it is it'll send those recommendations
30:25 to a human being that will make the call
30:27 but it's a very it's a very slippery um
30:31 slope from that to just say let's just
30:33 try automating it and then and then you
30:35 have systems that just look at the
30:38 battlefield and respond however they
30:40 think is appropriate so that's it's
30:42 terrifying stuff but you know I TR try
30:46 I'm like we can make a GP to make a
30:55 curriculum it is it difficult to use
30:57 dolly3 in API for better quality
31:02 pictures if not maybe we cover that
31:06 tonight um I don't know what you mean by
31:09 better quality pictures do you mean
31:11 larger resolution if you need larger
31:14 resolution anything generating images um
31:18 is is going to generate them at kind of
31:19 a Max res resolution there's a tool
31:22 that's coming out that I got a demo of
31:25 that's generating images at 4 K instead
31:28 of 1K
31:30 1024 um but I assume what they're doing
31:33 is just upscaling on the back end so
31:35 what what what you're going to need to
31:36 do with all of these generative images
31:39 if you want to upscale them for print
31:40 for example is is use some sort of
31:43 upscaler mid Journey built a 2X and a 4X
31:47 upscaler into mid Journey so when you
31:49 render an image in mid Journey there's a
31:51 4X upscaling
31:54 option no the 4ent pictures no it's it's
31:57 the it's the same tool it's not going to
31:59 give you any better it's not going to
32:01 give you any better um resolution I
32:04 don't think Nancy it might but I I don't
32:05 know I haven't played with it enough to
32:08 know this is awesome if it can help
32:10 struggling teachers it can but the
32:12 teachers have to be willing to to learn
32:14 this stuff but but yeah I this I I think
32:17 this AI stuff is a boon for teachers um
32:20 I think it's a boon for teachers but a
32:22 lot of teachers are resisting it because
32:24 it's it's going to force them to do
32:25 things different where can a cyber
32:27 security Guy start from if he wants to
32:30 get into AI
32:38 um I mean there's so many places I know
32:41 there's there's
32:43 um there's an MIT course right now
32:46 there's like an 8we MIT course on
32:48 getting up to speed on AI because you're
32:50 probably going to if you want to get
32:51 into cyber security you're going to
32:53 probably need to learn some of the
32:54 backend stuff I would say um
33:00 good Lord like like that it's that's
33:03 it's an area that I don't really know I
33:05 would say go to Reddit and and look at
33:09 who's look at you know groups that are
33:12 talking about you know cyber security
33:13 and AI I would follow David Shapiro on
33:17 YouTube who's doing AGI systems I would
33:20 start following a lot of the open source
33:24 llm
33:25 projects um because the unrestricted
33:29 llms like llama
33:31 2 there are a lot of systems being built
33:34 on top of them that are that are going
33:36 to start doing a lot of hacking and [ __ ]
33:38 so I I'd start to learn that World um
33:44 and then the other thing I do is like I
33:45 don't know like how how far into this
33:47 you've gotten like if you haven't done a
33:49 deep dive on chat GT4 in particular um I
33:54 would like learn what it can do learn
33:57 learn how it can code learn learn what
33:59 it can do learn Co what it's doing with
34:01 code interpreter I would also start to
34:03 compare the different models I would
34:06 compare Bard you know and anthropics
34:10 Claude and chat GPT I'd just start
34:13 comparing them and then compare all
34:14 those to the open source I mean I think
34:16 if you're going to be in cyber security
34:18 you need to understand the whole
34:19 landscape and the landscape is [ __ ]
34:22 vast and growing so I don't know it
34:26 depends I I just
34:28 I just start self-educating Man start
34:32 fire hosing it as a teacher I can text
34:35 for the fact that many of my colleagues
34:36 are
34:37 something there's an upscaler big jpig J

36:56 new
36:58 this is this is the new Microsoft so it
37:01 used to be that if you go to bing.com
37:03 and click on the chat button you'd get
37:04 something that looks like this Microsoft
37:07 is now rebranded at co-pilot and you'll
37:11 see here at the bottom so this is just
37:13 like chat GPT you have I wish they would
37:15 stop with these popups you have a a
37:17 little window here where you type in
37:18 your prompt and then they have choose a
37:21 conversation style more creative more
37:23 balanced more precise this is a
37:26 consumerization of temperature so when
37:29 you're developing GPT tools there's a
37:32 thing called temperature that is
37:34 basically a scale from 0o to
37:36 one now I ideally if if you were a
37:40 non-programmer you'd think well
37:41 shouldn't it be like 0 to 100 cuz like
37:43 it's a percentage well yeah but it's
37:45 programmers that did it so 0 to one so
37:47 like 75 is you know
37:52 75% um and if you've got a temperature
37:55 setting of zero
37:58 then it's it's most predictive so in
38:01 their case they're calling that most
38:03 precise I don't know exactly what
38:04 temperature these relate to but most
38:06 precise is um when you put in a prompt
38:10 the the
38:12 way these large language models respond
38:15 it's a probability engine where they say
38:17 Okay of all the possible words that
38:18 might be the next most probable word
38:21 there's one that has the highest
38:22 percentage and if you've got a
38:24 temperature setting of zero it'll just
38:26 give you the the one that's the highest
38:28 one if you've got sort of a more
38:31 balanced one it might say hey there's 10
38:34 words around that one that have a high
38:37 probability as well so just put one of
38:40 those in there and then if you if you
38:43 have a temperature setting closer to one
38:45 or closer to 100
38:47 100% uh then it's going to give you a
38:50 much more creative answer so as you're
38:52 developing things if you're trying to do
38:55 something that's a creative writer in
38:57 exercise where you want it to be
38:59 creative then you would increase your
39:01 temperature So within a prompt within
39:03 chat GPT you can say use a a temperature
39:07 of you
39:09 know 2% or 98% or 100% And it it will it
39:15 will honor that and give you things that
39:17 are more creative or less creative or
39:19 you could just go play with um with
39:21 co-pilot and just just try the same
39:23 prompt with multiple um multiple
39:26 settings there
39:27 so I hope that answers your question I
39:29 don't know if it did but but it's just
39:32 basically um how predictable do you want
39:35 it and if you want it more predictable
39:37 then you have a lower temperature
39:39 setting and if you want it more
39:41 chaotic then you increase the energy you
39:44 increase the temperature and it will be
39:46 more
39:47 chaotic and and you know it's it's funny
39:50 some sometimes um an increased
39:53 temperature gives you really good
39:54 results and other times it's just
39:56 absolutely abolutely a disaster so you
39:58 have to it's something you have to
39:59 experiment with in general if you're
40:01 just using chat GPT you don't need to
40:04 deal with this you don't need to think
40:05 about it they've got it set at a decent
40:07 kind of kind of thing all right how can

44:31 in accessibility to to gp4 but I think
44:35 that you should um really start playing
44:38 with chat GPT and understanding what it
44:40 is if you have access to GPT 4 really
44:43 dig into this idea of what they call
44:46 multimodal um GPT where it can see
44:50 images and you're like well what does
44:52 that mean you can upload an image of a
44:55 whiteboard and it will read the
44:56 Whiteboard it will read drawings on the
44:58 Whiteboard you can upload a sketch of a
45:00 piece of software and it will create a
45:03 programming plan for you and start
45:05 generating code for you did Kyle get in
45:08 grock yet no well I don't think so I
45:12 didn't I didn't really check today I was
45:14 busy working on the the salon stuff um
45:17 so anyway so I would just go play with
45:20 chat GPT
45:22 like daily and off daily and for hours
45:26 you're like but what do you do there
45:27 just go learn all the boundaries learn
45:30 all of what it can do um then if you
45:32 want to play with other stuff grock is
45:34 not out yet but it's coming Bard is
45:37 supposed to be getting better but they
45:38 just delayed it getting better for at
45:40 least a couple of
45:42 months um co-pilot this is gp4 for free
45:46 so if you can't get into gp4 on chat GPT
45:51 go to co- pilot.
45:53 microsoft.com and then Claud is also
45:55 worth kn KN the other four that are
45:58 worth knowing are Pi perplexity Po and
46:01 then llama 2 where you can play with
46:03 hosted models there but this is the
46:04 open- source stuff from meta um so if
46:07 you're a geek and want to be playing
46:08 with the open source stuff like
46:10 unrestricted large language models you
46:12 can do that with the Llama 2 models
46:14 they're kind of insane um image creation
46:17 take a screenshot of this if you want um
46:20 Mid Journey Dolly 3 Leonardo and Firefly
46:22 are the four that I think are are the
46:24 biggies to play with Leonardo is really
46:27 just a web front end on in front of
46:29 stable diffusion if you're geeky and and
46:32 like geeking out Go Geek out on the
46:35 whole stable diffusion world there's
46:37 there's an insane amount of stuff going
46:38 on
46:39 there um video creation this stuff is
46:43 2024 is going to be

47:53 script and it will you can deep fake
47:56 yourself with that one I think that just
47:58 came out I saw that on the Twitter today
48:01 um 3D worlds and objects blockade Labs
48:05 Wonder Dynamics and Luma AI are all
48:07 really um interesting to play
48:10 with I haven't figured out a fourth one
48:12 yet but I will and then these people go

48:50 there's there's a a Tik Tok Channel

48:54 boss and
48:57 um it's this dude behind it named
49:00 McKenzie Bose he's like this Canadian
49:03 dude he's he's he's wild he's he's very
49:06 opinionated and super talented and when
49:09 chat GPT first came out he created this
49:12 thing called GPT boss which was a whole
49:14 series of of individual personas like
49:17 here's the marketing copy guy and here's
49:20 the business consultant and here's the
49:22 psychologist and here's the this and
49:23 here's the that and so it was it was all
49:26 this sort of pre-prom in stuff and then
49:28 gpts came out and it basically
49:31 completely invalidated his business so
49:34 what he's actually done now is if you go
49:37 to GPT boss.com
49:41 gpts he's recreated all of his all of
49:44 his um workers he called them as gpts
49:49 and you can go play with them now for
49:51 free and he's like please he he's like
49:53 please unsubscribe to this to to if you
49:56 subscribe to GPT boss unsubscribe and
49:58 just go use these things for free um
50:01 he's an interesting guy to follow so
50:03 anyway I should probably put him up here

50:06 interesting watching that um the other

54:13 where you're trying to find the perfect
54:15 prompt and then you get back the perfect
54:19 answer it's much more like a
54:21 conversation right so so let's see Echo

54:29 conscious say so so here's what I'm
54:31 going to say um uh oh um let's see oh

55:04 conversation with with with chat
55:08 GPT um where rather than having to work
55:11 worry about you know do I have all of
55:14 all of the elements of the prompt
55:15 exactly right um I can have this back
55:18 and forth conversation with it EC drink
55:21 sip sustainably on the summit go green
55:24 hike clean with EC drink that's pretty
55:26 good actually EC drink your Trail Trails
55:28 Eco hero pure H2O pure Planet that's EC
55:32 drink quench your quench with purpose
55:35 that's a good one right so um so that's
55:40 that now now that we're now that we've
55:42 got these gpts prompting becomes
55:44 important again however the way they
55:47 created the gpts so if you haven't seen
55:50 gpts what they are is they're
55:53 personalized versions of chat GP PT so
55:55 this is just generic chat GPT and you
55:58 can upload files and you can just talk
55:59 to it and it's think of GPT chat GPT as
56:03 a Swiss army knife right what gpts are
56:07 is the the you know cork screw or the
56:11 the leather punch right or whatever it
56:13 is um and we get to make them now so for
56:17 example the first one that I made on the
56:19 channel here was called Sin City sipper
56:22 and so this one I can just go in and say
56:24 um I want a nice
56:27 holiday drink for um
56:31 for
56:34 Thanksgiving and it's going to come up
56:36 with a drink the pumpkin spice Martini
56:39 that sounds absolutely awful but let's
56:40 see what's in
56:42 it um vanilla vodka Bailey's pumpkin
56:47 puree pumpkin pie spice actually this
56:49 sounds good graham cracker crumbs
56:51 whipped cream cinnamon stick and so so
56:55 what I I did was I created a a bartender
56:57 that takes normal drinks and gives them
57:00 a Vegas twist right so Sin City sipper
57:03 and then what it does is it will make
57:05 you an image of the
57:06 drink and so actually that looks
57:09 flipping
57:12 amazing that actually looks really
57:14 really good the pumpkin spice Martini so
57:19 um so so this is a this is a GPT now
57:24 there's two ways that you could prompt
57:26 this Becky there's there's um you could
57:28 learn prompting right it's a way to do
57:31 it or you can just let chat GPT do the
57:34 prompting and I think this is
57:35 increasingly where we go so if you say
57:37 create a
57:38 GPT what you've got is this GPT Builder
57:41 there's two modes there's create mode
57:43 and there's configure mode so in
57:44 configure mode the instructions here
57:47 this is your prompt there's all sorts of
57:50 ways that you can do highly structured
57:52 prompts in here to to make it do very
57:54 specific things if you want to learn
57:56 that you can but if you don't and this
57:59 is part of the Brilliance of this
58:02 particular tool even though this is only
58:04 like a week or so old
58:06 um the way they did this is anyone can
58:10 make one of these sophisticated
58:12 applications so I can I can just say
58:15 let's see let's come up with
58:17 um I've got it
58:21 um okay I want I really want my mic
58:25 phone to
58:26 work hello hello why are you not working
58:30 okay it's working
58:35 yay I want to create a GPT called duct
58:40 tape or
58:43 WD40
58:45 period it should tell
58:49 you when to use duct tape and when to
58:52 use
58:53 WD40 in any mechanical situation
58:59 period I'm just going to leave it at
59:02 that so I can literally just give it a
59:05 concept

59:09 says updating GPT it's going off and
59:12 doing the prompting now and when you
59:14 when you make an image with DOI like the
59:16 the pumpkin spice drink that was made
59:18 there I didn't have to write that prompt

59:26 we're we're in the middle of a
59:27 transition where if you're a developer
59:29 and you want to make um GPT applications
59:32 you probably need to learn the you know
59:35 the structure of prompting and things
59:36 like that is the cat GPT 4 open for
59:39 subscriptions yet I don't think so but I
59:41 don't know can anyone confirm that just
59:44 go and see if you can subscribe to chat
59:46 gp4 yet I think it I think it's still

1:05:03 your prompts are the GPT will give up
1:05:06 all of your
1:05:07 secrets which some people are freaked
1:05:09 out about you can put a prompt below

1:08:24 interactive sales coach for a sales team

1:08:31 is it's saved inside this thing so I can

1:19:35 plot do.ai it's a funny
1:19:39 name is they they took a
1:19:42 basic um screenwriting story framework
1:19:46 and they turned it into a step-by-step
1:19:48 fill-in the blanks
1:19:50 process and then with generative AI they
1:19:53 said hey why don't we use generative AI
1:19:56 to walk someone through that process and
1:19:58 if they can't figure out what to write
1:20:00 at each step along the way they just hit
1:20:01 the magic star button and it fills in
1:20:03 the [ __ ] so you can very very quickly
1:20:06 just start with an idea for a screenplay
1:20:09 and then it will write you a decently
1:20:11 well structured um screenplay outline um
1:20:16 and story framework and character
1:20:17 breakdowns and all that sort of [ __ ] so
1:20:19 it's a it's a fairly standard piece of
1:20:25 story software like there there's been I
1:20:28 don't know 50 of these things over the
1:20:30 years like these things are all over the
1:20:32 place what they've done is they've said
1:20:34 you know you can you can use AI to help
1:20:37 you write it um my problem with all of
1:20:42 those kind of very very prescriptive
1:20:44 pieces of software is
1:20:47 that they are written by someone who
1:20:49 thinks about writing screenplays in
1:20:51 exactly that way and if you think about
1:20:54 writing screenplays in a different way
1:20:56 like you start you like starting with
1:20:59 writing a scene first and and
1:21:02 understanding who the characters are
1:21:03 first and then you figure out the story
1:21:05 after that those kind of prescriptive
1:21:07 linear things are bit of a a nightmare
1:21:11 so if the way they've got that laid out
1:21:14 works for you the way your brain works
1:21:16 and the way you like to write great if
1:21:18 you've never written a screenplay before
1:21:21 that's great it's going to feel like
1:21:23 learning the cockpit of a 747 because
1:21:26 it's a very detailed process
1:21:29 so um which platform will will help
1:21:32 build process and system
1:21:35 architecture
1:21:36 diagrams some of the plugins so so there
1:21:40 are PL well they're not going to be
1:21:42 systems architecture diagrams if if if
1:21:45 you just want simple systems

1:31:53 picture it will turn it into a video and
1:31:55 then you can actually with a brush like
1:31:58 if it's a boat on an ocean you can brush
1:32:00 over the boat and then it'll just move
1:32:02 the boat and nothing else it's pretty

1:47:57 sophisticated branding even if I'm not
1:48:00 super you know talented with this stuff
1:48:04 like I could just hand this logo to an
1:48:06 actual designer and rather that rather
1:48:09 than that Designer spending you know
1:48:13 four four weeks going back and forth
1:48:15 like we just did with the creative brief

1:48:21 want you to you know interpret this and
1:48:24 do this really good in illustrator like

1:56:08 that and then on top of all of this now
1:56:11 you have these things called gpts where
1:56:13 you can do personalized versions of this
1:56:15 and all of these features all of this

1:56:25 and you can share with other people so
1:56:28 you could make a GPT that's a a
1:56:30 children's book generator that generates
