69. 16:11generation if it's got a more of an artistic flare it's probably mid Journey if it's like really super photographically accurate um that's
70. 16:20probably um flux there's a an open- Source model called flux that's built into a bunch of things right now
71. 16:29um and it it's it's pretty good but they're they're all getting quite good the only one that hasn't really improved
72. 16:34in a while is Dolly um within chat GPT um but but um Kelly Bosch gets amazing results out of it amazing [Music]

87. 19:05like two years ago that was Ai and it all changed when when chat GPT came out and now we can just talk our
88. 19:13words we can use our us liberal arts Majors I have a [ __ ] acting degree and I got an AI Channel you know we know you're not
89. 19:22qualified you big dumb dumb and you're old and you're fat um um the trolls the trolls are ruthless they they talk about my nose hairs the
90. 19:38the ear ear hairs uh they tell me I look like Rosie odonnell on a bad day it's just it's not good it's not good um anyway all of that
91. 19:50aside this AI stuff once you start playing with it and that is my fullon recommendation is just play don't feel
92. 19:58like you got to learn it um The Learning the learning will come and quite frankly the learning the learning is getting less
93. 20:07important as AI gets better and as AI agents show up on the scene which is probably going to be in the next three
94. 20:16months it's going to start doing stuff for us so all we're going to have to do is kind of push it along [Music]

101. 21:55event and um we had a lot of people join and it's it's very vibrant in there right now so if you're not in the AI Salon one of the
102. 22:06things I strongly recommend right now and and I don't this I don't think is going away is get your ass in an AI
103. 22:16Community like like soon like Ann Murphy's got this thing called she leads AI there's Rachel Woods has her AI exchange there's the AI
104. 22:26Salon um the importance of AI Community right now is everything's moving so fast and everything is about like the definition
105. 22:36of work is about to change like what it means to work now now when I say is about to change it's not like it's happening
106. 22:46tomorrow but over the next three years what we consider work and how you do it how much time you put into it and and
107. 22:53what you do and how you do it all of that sort of stuff is going to be thrown up in the air and for people that are not connected to
108. 23:03other people trying to figure this out it's going to be I think it's going to be very disorienting and I think that the
109. 23:10way that we will all continue working is by supporting one another as things change and and you know someone off in
110. 23:20one corner figures it out and all of a sudden spins up a business that none of us could have anticipated and they need
111. 23:26to hire people who are they going to hire they're going to hire people that they know are in the game right so I
112. 23:33think being in community is is a A plus it's also so much better to learn amongst people that are into it and figuring it out
113. 23:49too open AI has a cookbook it tells you how to do so much oh that's cool is it a prompt cookbook open AI cookbook open AI
114. 24:07cookbook cookbook. openai new apis oh these are apis is this all apis how to stream completions oh yeah
115. 24:22this is for developers cool all right there's your API documentation and if you're if you're afraid of apis
116. 24:30and programming and [ __ ] like that start playing around with it start asking chat GPT to teach you how to do it um it's
117. 24:37it's pretty remarkable what what you can do with with all this stuff um okay let me show you another cool thing so Brandon met with the CEO

383. 1:18:21part if we trust them which I don't know if I do they're not keeping the I scan data the only thing they're doing with
384. 1:18:29the I scan data they're using like seven different wavelengths of light to create a unique hash and then once they have
385. 1:18:36that unique hash they're discarding the biometric data so the the the purpose of it is they create a unique hash based on
386. 1:18:44seven layers seven or eight layers of wavelengths of light on your irises it's not actually your retina it's your
387. 1:18:51irises and they created a unique hash and then they compare that to other hashes in the database and if it's Unique they give you an ID they
388. 1:19:00basically say if you don't match another eyeball in this database then we'll give you an ID as far as I know that's as far as they take that
389. 1:19:08um do do I care about them monetizing it I don't because I don't think they're keeping the data I don't think it's in
390. 1:19:15their interest to keep the data I think it's in their interest to have a database of unique human beings that are
391. 1:19:21verified there's there's only so many ways that you can verify a human being right and and physical is is one of the more accurate ones

515. 1:42:55these three things came out of so so this community was started the week after chat GPT launched I founded this
516. 1:43:02community with Leah faston who's a professional photographer out of Boston we just put this group together we met
517. 1:43:08two times a month and just have been doing it ever since um we had just over 2,000 people when we did this AI Festivus thing we
518. 1:43:17we've now added about 800 new members to the AI salon so it's grown quite dramatically in the past week but these
519. 1:43:25three things play first mindfully create generously lead here's what that looks like just start playing with AI and I
520. 1:43:31would encourage you as a coder play with way more than just code go make songs on sunno go make images on ideogram and
521. 1:43:39figure out what it can do with text um uh uh you know go do the coding stuff go to chat GPT and do writing stuff do
522. 1:43:47creative writing stuff do business writing stuff figure out how well it codes figure out which of the which of
523. 1:43:53the major llms you like the coding of better like some of them are going to be more in your style than others just go
524. 1:44:00play Then mindfully create looks like start volunteering to do projects with AI so if you know someone that's trying
525. 1:44:09to launch a business or trying to do an app but you're kind of friendly with them you're like hey let me just I'm
526. 1:44:15going to try to build it with AI can can I do that for you just start building [ __ ] solving problems and ideally
527. 1:44:22solving problems for other people and then the generously lead part is talk about it put it on LinkedIn put it on Facebook
528. 1:44:31or whever whatever your socials are talk about it on Reddit let people make fun of you put it out there and say hey I
529. 1:44:37tried to make this app and this thing really sucked and it broke and I hate it okay great put that out there hey I
530. 1:44:42tried uh lovable. deev I heard it from Kyle on the AI learning lab and huh it's actually less shitty than I thought it
531. 1:44:49would be put that out there put out what you built just just just keep putting your work out there because what's going
532. 1:44:57to happen is people will start to recognize you as someone who has a point of view about AI the real Panic around AI hasn't set
533. 1:45:07in yet I think it's going to set in in 2025 because these tools are about to get really good and really powerful 2024
534. 1:45:15was a bit of a a lull year even though a lot happened I don't think that's going to be 2025 so I think what you're going
535. 1:45:23to see is in the next six months Corporate America is going to wake up and people are going to [ __ ] panic I
536. 1:45:29need to learn about AI who knows anything about Ai and if you're out in the world they will find you but you got
537. 1:45:36to be in the world so I would say Do not sit in the shadows is the is is the biggest hedge um toward getting work as
538. 1:45:44as someone entering the job market all right all right fantastic Bob it was a little more irregular than

555. 1:48:05your date will be gone and then we can just hang out so you do that you you make yourself nachos you make them in the air
556. 1:48:14fryer um or another popular choice is a Hot Pocket heated up in a dirty microwave don't forget the sleep
557. 1:48:24and that's it and we hang out and it's it's almost identical to what we did tonight except it couldn't possibly be
