39. 9:51up I'll catch up Microsoft is doing some interesting stuff they've got a their new I think it's their new Surface
40. 10:01Pro which is comparable to the MacBook Air apparently I don't quite know I thought surface was more like an iPad
41. 10:08but I don't know I don't know that ecosystem but the new Surface is AI enabled and it's got some chip in it they can do 40
42. 10:18trillion operations per second 40 trillion on a chip or you know I guess on the device because of this
43. 10:31chip um so they're able to do very fast AI inferencing locally and if you don't know what locally means it means you don't have to
44. 10:42go ask the internet to give you the answer it just does everything right on the device which considering the product
45. 10:52that they announced after that device they damn well better process it locally so they created a new kind of
46. 11:02uh feature that's part of this they're calling it The co-pilot plus PC so true Windows app for GPT only
47. 11:11coming in November saw a comment on open AI oh that's interesting the Windows app for GPT well but may maybe the Windows app for chat
48. 11:24gpts in November the co-pilot app I assume is coming before then but I know I I don't know like I said I didn't see
49. 11:31any of the the uh announcements today um but they they next product that they announced after this super fast PC is called
50. 11:43recall as in Total Recall not quite close um it's uh it's basically persistent memory for
51. 11:59everything you do on your computer which you know most people are like well does it does it remember everything if you know what I mean
52. 12:14um so if they were sending all of what you did on your computer up to the cloud no one would [ __ ] use it but they're
53. 12:21processing it locally the thing I don't you know I I just even though they say they're processing it locally they're
54. 12:29not sending up a little bit of metadata just a little how many times it takes a screenshot of your computer and but
55. 12:45anyway um but it's crazy like you could you know work a whole day and then just go hey co-pilot you know uh what did I talk

68. 14:39AI Salon it is pretty magical we're on a mission to make learning AI more more like playing than working and so it's a very joyful
