38. 9:12so we talked about this at the AI Salon last night and I just I'm feeling it more and more I saw someone tweet about it today that
39. 9:24that's feeling it too Tik Tok just started enough called lemon eight uh uh uh uh uh Sherry D I read it it was very
40. 9:35good is it what oh it is what it is AI has to go on well it's yeah so AI this isn't slowing down the what it what it
41. 9:46feels like is happening to me is so there's linear growth right linear growth is just stuff gets progressively
42. 9:55better and there's exponential growth right you're going like this and all of a sudden does that the last 3 weeks to me feel
43. 10:05like things are different right we went an entire year and a month no more than that a year and three months with chat chpt being in the cat
44. 10:18bird seat really had no competitors and then in December Gemini Google Google had their little Gemini video their announcement everyone was
45. 10:29like oh [ __ ] here comes the Google and then February 8th Google launches Gemini Ultra and it sucks it
46. 10:43sucked and then 7 days later they kind of unceremoniously announced early release to Gemini Pro 1.5 which is not Ultra
47. 10:53it's Pro which is their middle model but it was the 1.5 version and it had a million token context window a million 750,000 words and it's
48. 11:07multimodal oh [ __ ] and then people that had access to it started buzzing about it and then in the three weeks since then we got Claude
49. 11:223 which is insanely good and people are talking about liking it better than gp4 we got inflection 2.5
50. 11:35um we got the announcement of LTX Studio which is a really cool thing Elon Musk said that this year AI will be better than most humans
51. 11:49which is the definition of AGI better than indiv any individual human and then he said by 2020 9 AI will be better than all humans put
52. 12:05together which is the singularity that's Ray kurts F's Singularity um and that's when kurts kurts Kurtz is calling for 2029 as well
53. 12:20um and what else who else David Shapiro said Claud 3 is sentient sensient um um so anyway so the article's about that just about all that
54. 12:31stuff and it took me for [ __ ] ever to do it because I wanted to put in screenshots of all the announcements and
55. 12:38tweets and all this stuff and then I wanted to link to them and just linkedin's kind of a shitty publishing platform but that was

83. 18:41right then go until you see that then turn left it was all logical programming and now with large language
84. 18:49models you don't need to do logical programming anymore they just figure that [ __ ] out and so that's taking some computer
85. 18:59Translating that into one data stream the conversation into another data stream and probably a third data stream for how to talk to a robot
86. 19:10Json Json movements and chat jpt probably stitches those three streams together and just makes it do its [ __ ] holy [ __ ] it's
87. 19:24crazy crazy it's also so funny like the the the more impressive that the that the demos get here this is a thing I'm
88. 19:37noticing the more impressive that the demos get the more vitriolic engineers get about how not perfect they
89. 19:48are well that's just a trivial there there's nothing really new to look at here um I heard that about Devon today
90. 19:57people were bitching about and I got in a couple of little Twitter skirmishes today cuz the technologists
91. 20:06were like well it's it's not perfect and it's just all all they did was you know stick together you know these four
92. 20:13different Services into a single interface and I'm like uh yeah interface matters look at chat GPT chat GPT is the same exact
93. 20:24functionality that was in the open AI playground for 3 years before for that and they stuck it in a cute
94. 20:33interface and it got 100 million users in 6 weeks interface matters and so the little Devon little the the Devon um you
95. 20:44know programming bot that that has been announced and they're slowly rolling out um stitches together you know four or five different
96. 20:58services but it does it in a really slick way that's called good software by the way did you see the video of the guy that's the the CEO of
97. 21:11cognizant or is it is it cognizant what what's the [ __ ] the name of the company that that came out with Devin in
98. 21:19a math competition we got to see this you got to see this thing it's like are you [ __ ] kidding me um de CEO

212. 45:102.5 then then we've got all these non llms that are getting better like Sora video and the coding thing with Devin
213. 45:18and music sunno just went to V3 um so so then I talk about that and then what I did was I put together a
214. 45:26timeline of the last 30 days of just things that I thought were sort of big and interesting so Ethan mik talking

571. 1:53:50sliding to the right it's going through steps in the process so those steps might take a minute or two in between so
572. 1:53:57in these demos they're they're they're flipping through a history that's already been processed right and they're
573. 1:54:02only showing the good ones so this is this is all marketing video [ __ ] so take it all with a grain of salt but that's
574. 1:54:08what's happening images from the internet to run through the model but you can see here that there are actually some issues that come across
575. 1:54:18however Devon knows how to handle these things Devon kind of pushes through and if you look closely Devon's actually
576. 1:54:27doing print line debugging here where Devon is adding these statements to track where the data flows and Devon continues to do this
577. 1:54:38until Devon understands how everything's working and actually then updates the code with the fixes after removing print line
578. 1:54:49statements Deon continues this pattern of fixing code and run it again until it runs the image model across all these
579. 1:54:57rows across the world and we can ask for a report from Devon at which point Devon sends over some sample images of roads with damage marked
580. 1:55:10out and a nice txt file explaining Devon's work in the different kinds of out absolutely crazy absolutely [ __ ] bonkers plans
