38. 8:54does um that it's kind of like thinking that the Adobe sweet of products is just Photoshop you're like oh yeah it's
39. 9:02Photoshop no it's like Photoshop and then it's got all this movie [ __ ] and all this other [ __ ] like the Adobe suite
40. 9:09is massive right it's 20 or 30 apps and that's kind of like chat chpt I think there's like a dozen different features or applications within
41. 9:20it go to sora.com you can make video if you're in chat GPT it can make images it can see images you can upload CS v files
42. 9:30it'll analyze data there's just a lot there and then yeah it'll write code it'll write a whole damn website it's
43. 9:37gotten better at doing long form output Kyle you have to watch the you uh YouTube David Shapiro video did today

84. 18:47in this really cool thing so he's teaching there and he's he's asking for input about what do you want to learn so
85. 18:53if you want to geek out a little bit on this on this AI stuff um you have a really uh Wick uh person in Pate willing to teach you

114. 24:15Twitter and it just crashed I spent 30 minutes trying to upload a 15-c video to [ __ ] Twitter so let's try it again

346. 1:06:12in about 2000 we I mean we did the coolest things with flash at at agency.com and and urban desires the the magazine I did was our kind of
347. 1:06:22playground to to experiment with all that [ __ ] it was crazy but yeah it's we're we're in the experimental phase
348. 1:06:29where not a lot of people know what's happening but the ones that know what's happening are like why is nobody paying

358. 1:08:06like that and I think it's because like companies like Intel and apple and all these they were like oh they they just
359. 1:08:15they're doing the graphics they're doing all that video game [ __ ] let them do the video game [ __ ] we don't want to focus
360. 1:08:20on that it's too complicated it's too specialized and they just said go do that and then crypto and nfts and
361. 1:08:28blockchains you you know all the all the crypto mining was good on gpus and I think again the other companies are like yeah
362. 1:08:38they're just doing that crypto thing it's gonna blow over and then all of a sudden it's good for AI and and they are so far ahead I
363. 1:08:48just I don't see anyone catching them for a while because they've got software they've got the like the robots stack
364. 1:08:55that that Jensen announced that's that's everything they like they gave out a world model based on 20 million hours of
365. 1:09:06video to to train robots on you're going to be able to train robots what like some crazy amount faster 100x faster
366. 1:09:13thousand X faster I don't know than training them in the real world because they have this massive World model and
367. 1:09:19this virtual training it's [ __ ] crazy so yeah I would think they're going to be a big one um I would be surprised if
368. 1:09:26open AI wasn't one of the major players um I don't think anthropic is either well enough funded or like anthropic seems to be they're not
369. 1:09:42slipping but they're not they're not keeping up with the Joneses they don't have a video model they don't have a um image generation
370. 1:09:52model it's not connected to the internet CES is all in on AI says Brandon yeah looks like that oh 3700 times faster to
371. 1:10:02train a robot in the virtual world that Nvidia put together so what's going to happen is this is something I learned so
372. 1:10:11so I'm building within my company storyvine we built this thing called the AI authenticity engine where we can take
373. 1:10:18a video and we can generate content from it not not super revolutionary but solid like a good straightforward AI product
374. 1:10:27um and one of the things I learned there is that embedding is not embedding that if we we wanted to do some embeddings
375. 1:10:36locally and I was like well let's embed you know let's let's get our embeddings and then we'll use all these different
376. 1:10:42models and they're like no no if you embed in the Llama model you can't use those embeddings in the open AI
377. 1:10:49model um and so what's going to happen is all these robot companies are they're going to want to their robots faster so
378. 1:10:56they're going to use all the free [ __ ] that Nvidia is giving them to accelerate their training so that their robots are to Market
379. 1:11:04faster and then all of that training is going to require Nvidia Hardware it's brilliant it's [ __ ] brilliant [ __ ] brilliant [ __ ]
380. 1:11:14nuts nuts Amazon maybe they got to get their [ __ ] together and catch up they invested in anthropic Microsoft
381. 1:11:22is invested in open AI on AGI and Asi I I just Amazon he Amazon has money and Amazon has the infrastructure but Microsoft is they're

386. 1:12:25it's faster to train in this virtual environment than in the real world with robots but anyway that they're just and
387. 1:12:31then the other thing the $3,000 AI supercomputer that's the size of you know like it's not this small I mean
388. 1:12:39it's not this big it's like you know it's like this it's like an it's like a Mac Mini and it can run a 200 billion
389. 1:12:49parameter model locally you can daisy chain two of them together to do a 405 billion parameter model on your desktop for six
390. 1:13:00grand and their their new game graphics cards are using the new AI infrastructure so when video games go from being when you need to render
391. 1:13:14frames like the current games do to you need to generate frames like the future games will do the 5,000 series of GeForce graphic
392. 1:13:25cards are going to handle that I mean it's just they're so [ __ ] [Music] smart uh oh Three Mile Island Three Mile

400. 1:15:01would take you to do training on on a single Blackwell chip probably too long to to justify it um that said the
401. 1:15:11Chinese model that just came out called Deep seek 3 was trained on 2 um 4090 equivalent gpus or maybe maybe it was higher than
402. 1:15:23that but pretty pretty low um and it only cost them like five $5 million to to train and it only took two months something like that so the
403. 1:15:34training is going to get more efficient all right what about the quantum computer thing so here's here's
404. 1:15:42the thing so we if pate's still on here we actually have a mathematician on here but my my understanding is that the nature of the
405. 1:15:52mathematics that you do with quantum computer ERS is just a fundamentally different branch of mathematics than all
406. 1:15:59of the AI Transformer based embeddings and inference stuff so they're not it's not the same it's not Apples to Apples that
407. 1:16:10said someone's G to figure something out where they're going to be able to bridge something like the amount of computing that the
408. 1:16:21wasn't it called Willow the Google um Quantum Computing chip it solved in 5 minutes a number of equations that would
409. 1:16:33have taken today's fastest supercomputer 10 was it septian 10 to the 25th years like way longer than the history
410. 1:16:49of the universe to solve it solved in five minutes in fact it solves so many equations in such a short amount of time
411. 1:16:57that the only conclusion that the Google researchers could come to was that it must be doing calculations in parallel
412. 1:17:06universes because there's not enough atoms in the universe to do that amount of computing like it's some crazy ass
413. 1:17:16batshit something um at some point they'll figure out how to harness that and do something with AI with it but but right now they're very
414. 1:17:26different okay so the Benchmark was designed not to be solvable by a super computer oh well yeah so how far is the quantum computer
415. 1:17:41stuff well okay so here's what I understand was so significant about the Google The Google chip I don't think it
416. 1:17:51was Willow I think wasn't Willow the previous one I don't whatever it doesn't [ __ ] matter the way Quantum Computing works is every
417. 1:17:59time you add a cubit the power of the system goes up exponentially so a a two Cubit system is you know 10x
418. 1:18:12more powerful than a one cubit system not not 2x right and it and it goes up like that for 30 years the problem
419. 1:18:21they've been trying to solve is that every time you add a cubit not only does the power go up exponentially but the error rate goes up
420. 1:18:29exponentially what Google figured out how to do is that every time you add a cubit the error rate goes down
421. 1:18:38exponentially so it makes it you don't have to do as much error cheing or whatever the [ __ ] you have to do to get
422. 1:18:43quantum computers to do their thing the Google thing figured out how they they've solved the error um
423. 1:18:51exponential error addition and they turn into error subtraction how they did that I it's [ __ ] math I don't know I'm an
424. 1:18:59actor I have an acting degree I don't have a [ __ ] clue but conceptually if you have exponentially more errors or
425. 1:19:07exponentially less errors the system with less errors going to be more better oh good lord and a true condom
