0:01 All right, we're going. We're going, 0:03 [Music] 0:20 buddy. Car and write the 0:25 note. Grab a bag and grab your coat. 0:32 Tell the ones that need to 0:35 [Music] 0:37 know we are headed 0:40 [Music] 0:45 north. One foot in and one foot 0:51 back. But it don't pay to live like 0:55 that. So I cut the ties and jump the 1:01 tracks for never to 1:06 [Music] 1:10 return. Brooklyn take me 1:15 in. You wear the shape I'm 1:20 in. My hands say they shake my head. It 1:23 spins. 1:26 Oh, Brooklyn, Brooklyn, take me 1:30 [Music] 1:37 in. When at first I learned to 1:42 speak, I used all my words to 1:48 fight with him and her and you and me. 1:54 It was such a waste of time. 1:57 [Music] 2:01 It was such a waste of 2:04 [Music] 2:08 time. That woman, she's got eyes that 2:13 shine like a pair of stolen polish 2:19 dimes. She asked to dance. I said it's 2:22 fine. 2:25 I'll see you in the 2:28 [Music] 2:35 morning. Take me 2:38 in. Are you where the shape I'm 2:44 in? My hands they shake, my head it 2:47 spins. 2:50 Oh, Brooklyn, Brooklyn, take 2:55 care. Three words that 2:58 became hard to 3:03 say. I had love. And 3:08 [Applause] 3:10 you was then I am today. 3:15 [Music] 3:17 Look at the things I 3:25 do. Brooklyn, Brooklyn, take me 3:30 in. You where the shape I miss 3:35 in my hands they shake my head it spins. 3:40 [Music] 3:42 Oh, 3:43 champ take me 3:50 in. That was one champ Shannon on lead 3:53 vocals. Welcome to the AI learning lab. 3:55 I'm Kyle Shannon. If you didn't know 3:56 that, if you're here and you're a 3:58 regular, well, you got to deal with 4:02 that. That's not on me. The fact that 4:05 you show up here night after night after 4:09 night, it that's on you. That's on 4:16 you. Just watching the meet and greet. A 4:19 that's nice. Hey Lori, what's 4:25 shaking? Got a few people in the house 4:27 tonight. I started a little early so 4:30 give people a chance to get 4:32 settled, microwave their hot pockets and 4:35 such. 4:41 Hey, does anyone else is anyone else an 4:43 [ __ ] 4:45 Um, does anyone else go into the grocery 4:47 store and buy like Hot Pockets and then 4:49 ask the cashier if they're organic? No. 4:52 Am I That's just me. 4:56 [Music] 5:24 Gareth [ __ ] here. Pizza bagels. Yeah, 5:28 exactly. These are These are organic, 5:31 right? 5:33 [Music] 5:34 I usually get a look like is are you is 5:38 is that you're trying to make a joke. Is 5:40 that that's that's 5:41 that's come that's comedy for 5:45 [Music] 5:46 you. I get 5:52 attitude. Oh 5:54 man. So, well, I have a new hobby now. 5:58 There you go. And see, this one won't 5:59 even cost you money. It'll just cost you 6:02 the price of a hot 6:07 pocket. Or I'll go to 7-Eleven and just 6:10 get a whole bunch of candy just organic, 6:13 right? And they're like they they don't 6:16 even they don't even comprehend the 6:18 [Laughter] 6:26 question. Vickiy's having a sneezing 6:28 fit. 6:30 [Music] 6:32 All right. I like it. Good 6:34 people. Good 6:36 [Music] 6:39 evening. I love being proven wrong about 6:42 something. So, I was proven wrong 6:45 about I said yesterday or the day before 6:49 that I think most people are going to 6:51 miss this this upgrade, the OpenAI image 6:55 upgrade because 6:58 [Music] 6:59 um there's no there's nothing new on the 7:01 interface, right? And I mean, a lot of 7:03 people don't even know that chat GPT can 7:05 make images in the first place, much 7:07 less pay attention to now there's a new 7:10 version. Uh, and boy was I 7:12 [Laughter] 7:15 wrong. Twitter is a flutter. Twitter is 7:18 a flutter. Twitter is a Twitter is a y 7:22 is a flutter. Twitter Twitter is a 7:24 flutter. Flutter doesn't matter. People 7:27 are talking on Twitter a lot about this 7:31 new um, no. You know what's funny? 7:34 They're not talking about the new image 7:36 tool. 7:37 what they're talking 7:39 about is how many goddamn Jibli images 7:42 there there are on Twitter now. So, if 7:46 you don't know, Studio Gibbli is a uh is 7:49 an animation studio in Japan. Very 7:51 famous um and also very protective of 7:55 their IP and like you know they'll 7:58 they'll sue they'll sue 8:00 people 8:02 and Sam Alman changed his PFP to be a a 8:07 Gibbli version of him. So, everyone's 8:10 going into chat GPT and uploading their 8:13 picture and turning it into a Jubilee 8:16 picture of them. So, I obliged. I did 8:17 that on 8:18 mine. Um, I also today, this this I was 8:23 pretty excited 8:26 about. I hurt someone's 8:29 [Laughter] 8:35 feelings. All right, let me go show you 8:37 what I did. I don't feel that bad about 8:40 [Laughter] 8:47 [Music] 8:53 it. Let's see. Where are 9:01 we? There's a lot of comments in here. 9:05 So I 9:08 made I I made the the April issue of 9:12 Neolite 9:15 [Music] 9:17 magazine. So I used Chat GPT's 9:21 uh you know image generation tool. I 9:24 wanted to see if it could do like a 9:25 magazine layout and by Jingus here it 9:28 is. 9:29 So, Neollettic magazine and then I put 9:31 Gary Marcus who sort of famously shits 9:34 all over Sam Alman and Chat G, you know, 9:36 Open AI for not being as good as they 9:39 say they are. Um, so I I did Neolite 9:42 magazine and why AGI will never happen 9:44 and brains weigh more than GPUs is the 9:46 book he wrote. I actually came up with 9:48 that title. Um, I got I got two 9:51 responses from him. 9:56 One one was uh one was oh wait it's 10:00 probably in here isn't it? Um let's see 10:04 new adventures in bullying. So glad AI 10:06 was invented. So he called me a bully. 10:10 And then he goes also I never said AGI 10:13 won't happen and I am not a neolite. See 10:15 chapter one of my last book. The whole 10:18 point about brains is that they're more 10:20 efficient. What a total train wreck. So, 10:22 I 10:23 got I got under Gary Marcus's 10:30 skin. Oh, that made me happy. Oh, man. I 10:34 actually said I respect him a lot. I 10:36 mean, listen, I Here's the here's the 10:38 deal. Anyone who's got a a strong point 10:41 of view and is willing to defend it, I I 10:43 have absolute respect for it. So, I told 10:45 him I said, "I've got a lot of respect 10:46 for you. It was just a joke." And then 10:49 he liked that. So, I think we're okay. 10:51 He doesn't know who I am, but I just 10:54 thought Neolite magazine. I'm like, 10:57 someone needs to make this magazine. We 10:59 could make a fortune. 11:03 [Music] 11:09 Uh, the other 11:13 thing the other thing that happened 11:16 today is that a new version of GPT40 11:20 came out that's got a creative writing 11:22 upgrade, a creativity upgrade, and it's 11:25 also better at coding. And apparently, 11:28 it's like risen to the top of the coding 11:30 leaderboard. 11:32 So I thought it might be fun to play 11:33 with some coding within chat GPT and you 11:37 know maybe do like a web 11:39 application kind of like we do in 11:41 lovable but do it in chat 11:46 GPT. And then I saw that 11:51 um I saw a post that you can you can 11:55 have chat GPT 11:57 code in 3JS which is the the 3D 12:02 JavaScript 12:03 [ __ ] and then you can tell it to render 12:07 that JavaScript 12:10 into the 12:12 image of you know what it represents 12:15 what what the code 12:16 is. Rick McCaulay it's crazy 12:19 great. Can we get some dad gad? I don't 12:22 I could but I don't know any dad gad 12:25 songs. I mean, I could just I suppose I 12:27 could just retune and then pick pick on 12:29 it, but I don't know. You know what I 12:31 want to get? Um, J Jacob Collier came 12:34 out with a five string guitar that's 12:36 it's the same notes on on the it's same 12:40 notes on the outside, the second string, 12:42 and then it's a different note in the 12:43 middle. 12:45 Um, he's such a [ __ ] smart musician. 12:49 I can't figure out if it'll be really 12:51 easy to play or really hard to play 12:54 because he makes everything look easy. 12:57 He's just like, "Oh yeah, you just do 12:58 all this and then your fingers just work 13:00 and you just make 13:03 music." Yeah. If if I could make music 13:06 like that, Jacob, I wouldn't need Suno 13:08 now, would 13:11 I? Oh, man. I used your prompt image and 13:14 water cooler. Oh, cool. All right. Nice. 13:18 Um, I need help at in that Kyle. I was 13:22 trying to create an application. I have 13:24 an idea. Well, ask chat GPT. It'll help 13:29 you. So, 13:32 Neolite brains may worth way more than 13:34 GPUs. I'm pretty happy with that title. 13:39 the 13:40 the Gary 13:42 [Laughter] 13:51 Marcus. It is not surprising to me that 13:54 he didn't see the humor in 13:58 [Music] 14:00 this. My point about brains is that they 14:03 were more efficient. Okay, Gary, calm 14:05 down. Go have a Snickers, buddy. 14:10 [Laughter] 14:14 Oh man, it's fun to be a dick 14:18 sometimes. Okay, let's see. What else 14:20 did we do tonight? There's my Studio 14:22 Jibli. There's Studio Gibbli 14:26 me. I suppose I'm on the the lawsuit 14:29 parade 14:31 now. 14:34 Um, what else did I look at? 14:38 David Shapiro today put out an AI 14:40 maximalism video which I thought was 14:42 actually pretty good. Oh, this was a fun 14:43 one. So, I went into I went into chat 14:46 GPT. So, one of the things that I 14:49 heard, let's see, um Hangry, it's crazy. 14:54 Great. All right, let me just make sure 14:55 I'm not missing anyone. 14:57 Gareth, I started to 15:00 recreate my AR app for MetaQuest a 15:04 couple of days ago, Vibe Coding, to 15:06 start out 15:07 with. Oh, should should you start out 15:10 with 40? It's certainly worth a shot. It 15:13 sounds like it got much better today. 15:14 They also said that they're not using as 15:17 many emojis, which I don't know how they 15:18 could use more. The only people using 15:21 more emojis than than 15:23 GPT4 is is our government on the Signal 15:28 app. It's war 15:31 comedy. No, too soon. Yeah. All right. 15:37 [Laughter] 15:40 [Music] 15:53 Um, oh, this thing. So, what I 15:57 did, I saw a couple of posts where 15:59 people are like, I'm giving up my 16:01 MidJourney subscription. And I thought, 16:03 well, that's a little extreme. I don't 16:05 think it's as good as that. 16:08 Um, so I did a little experiment. This 16:10 was an SRE that someone put up. And then 16:14 I had Chat GPT explain this style and it 16:17 did it was nice and detailed and it was 16:21 neo neoaro romanticism or something like 16:24 that and it it described what they do 16:27 and what they they do and so I uploaded 16:30 my my Kyle Shannon Dreams cowboy. Yeah, 16:34 I'm I'm with you Vicki. I don't think 16:35 I'll ever give up my MidJourney 16:37 subscription, but I I just wanted to see 16:39 like, you know, what could it do? And 16:40 then so it did that and it's a little 16:42 too photographic, but it's in the 16:44 neighborhood of a a neo baroque romantic 16:48 cowboy painting. And then I said, "No, 16:51 no, make it more painterly and put him 16:53 on a horse." And so it did that. And 16:55 then someone pointed out that the horse 16:58 is comically 17:03 small, which now that I look at it, 17:06 they're not wrong. 17:22 Oh, that's great. My best SRF so far is 17:25 my phone 17:31 number. Oh, yeah. And then Monday, 17:33 you're right, Gareth. Uh Monday, 17:35 Midjourney is supposed to drop uh 17:37 MidJourney 7, which here's the deal. If 17:40 Midjourney 7 can spell, if if it catches 17:43 up to Idog and now Chat GPT, 17:47 um that'll put them in good standing. If 17:49 it's just subtly better than what they 17:51 have now, I don't know that it's going 17:53 to win a ton of people over because it's 17:55 already it's just the best right now. 18:03 Kyle's Little Pony. My Little Pony. 18:06 Yeah, it's My My Little Pony 18:10 painting. So, that was a good 18:12 one. Oh, this was a film I got into. 18:16 Um I don't think you'll be able to hear 18:29 [Music] 18:35 [Music] 18:41 [Music] 18:43 The dude. See? 19:15 So, that's a little film that was made. 19:17 I got access to a thing called No Spoon 19:19 Studios, which is the woman who used to 19:22 run Luma Lab's um creative partner 19:25 program is now creating this software 19:28 where you just give it a prompt and it 19:29 makes you a whole film. It makes like a 19:31 minute long film, but it makes you all 19:34 the shots, all the sound effects, the 19:36 background music, all the edits, which I 19:39 thought was pretty cool. Yeah, I know 19:40 you can't hear. Here, I'll I'll change 19:42 my tab so you can hear and I'll play it 19:52 again. All right. This is called I think 19:55 it's called the watch maker. 20:01 [Music] 20:18 I don't want it. 20:26 [Music] 20:34 You 20:37 That's not just a middle 20:44 [Music] 20:53 That's kind of cool. It's called No 20:56 Spoon Studios. It's It's very early. 20:58 It's like 21:00 pre-alpha. And it's interesting. I asked 21:03 her if she was building it vibe vibe 21:06 coding style and she said she built the 21:10 rendering the rendering calls are in 21:12 Python those were built by hand and then 21:14 she's doing some of the front-end stuff 21:16 in vibe 21:18 [Music] 21:23 coding spin B3 in the house what's 21:29 happening chat GPT Crazy good. Yeah. 21:33 Yeah. 21:36 Yeah. So, we'll go play with some image 21:39 stuff tonight. I I want to I I want to 21:41 keep I want to 21:45 continue I want to continue 21:47 playing. 21:50 Um let's try some stuff. Let me let me 21:53 change my sharing back 21:56 to back to sharing. 22:10 Swinging ding ding ding 22:13 ding. What is that? Is that Chariots of 22:17 Fire or is that the 22:22 [Music] 22:26 piano? Anyone? Anyone for for offtune 22:32 humming 22:39 guesses AI can't replicate me. 22:43 Uh-uh. Chariots of fire. Yeah, that's 22:46 right. Chariots of fire. 22:53 [Music] 22:59 You can make money with welcome to chat 23:05 add. All right, let's go to the chat 23:08 jetpack tech. Well, no. You know where I 23:10 want to go first? Let's go. I saw this 23:13 earlier today and I thought it was kind 23:14 of curious, 23:17 clever. Um 23:21 [Music] 23:24 Let's 23:26 see. Go to 23:35 [Music] 23:37 LinkedIn. Where do I want to go? Yeah, 23:40 we'll go here. There's an Ethan Mollik 23:42 post. No, we'll do it like this. There's 23:43 Ethan Malik. There's news stories. Let 23:46 me do a command minus. No, we'll do 23:48 command plus. That's good. All right. 23:50 So, we are going 23:53 to I think what we'll do is we'll do 23:55 messaging like 23:57 that. So, we're going to go command 23:59 shift five. Bang. Was that five or six? 24:04 Five. What the [ __ ] is going on? Command 24:07 shift five. There we go. Okay, I'll go 24:12 clipboard and we're going to go copy 24:15 this interface. 24:25 All right. And then we're going to go to 24:26 chat 24:28 jeep. Oh, the other thing. Yeah, I said 24:31 I was we were going to do that. The 24:32 other thing I want to play with is 24:34 GPT40's just creative writing and and 24:38 code and [ __ ] like 24:39 that. Uh Siri can tell you if she's 24:42 talking to you. I I don't Siri and I are 24:45 not on speaking terms. 24:47 Um, we've got your 24:51 background. Have you made a chat add app 24:54 yet? I have not. That's not a bad idea. 24:57 Oh, actually, you know what would be 24:58 cool about a chat add 25:00 app is 25:02 that it would let you take three Oh, 25:06 this is a good idea. So, I came up with 25:08 an idea in 1996. I still have the 25:11 domain. So, so the this was an article 25:15 for Urban Desires, which was the online 25:17 magazine I had, and and we did we would 25:20 invent new [ __ ] for it. It was where we 25:22 did our innovation. So, I had an idea 25:24 for a site called Fish for It. And what 25:26 it would do is it would just randomly 25:28 take you to a site, but it would keep 25:30 the interface up so you could keep 25:32 casting, right? So, it would do a Google 25:35 search or I don't think Google was a 25:36 thing back then. It would do an Alta 25:38 Vista search or whatever the [ __ ] was 25:39 the thing of the day and then it would 25:41 just randomly serve you up one, right? 25:43 No waiting, just randomly serve you one 25:45 and then you just keep casting until you 25:47 found something you liked. So, a chat 25:49 add app could be kind of like that where 25:52 no matter what website you go to, it 25:54 lets you take, I don't know, five 25:56 actions and then upon executing the 26:00 fifth action, it just jumps you to to a 26:02 random 26:10 site. That's pretty good. All right. 26:12 Maybe maybe we'll make that. Okay. Okay. 26:14 So, I'm going to paste 26:16 in I'm going to paste in the LinkedIn 26:20 screenshot. And then I'm going to say I 26:23 want you to 26:25 [Music] 26:28 recreate this interface as 26:33 if it was from the world of Toy Story. 26:43 Like if I was 26:47 watching the movie and one of the 26:52 parents went to this site in the 26:59 movie, it would look like uh what it 27:03 would look like. That's not real 27:05 English, but would look like we'll we'll 27:09 let chat GPT figure out my shitty 27:11 grammar. 27:16 It's like wheel of fortune, but it's add 27:18 of fortune. Exactly. Jump to a random 27:20 site. That should increase the open tab 27:23 count. Oh, that's the other thing. 27:25 Amelio's wife. It'll let you take five 27:27 actions on a site, jump you to a new 27:29 site in a new tab. So, it just keeps m 27:32 multiplying tabs. That's really good. 27:36 Actually, wait a minute. Now, we're on 27:39 to something here. Hang on. 27:43 Okay, the chat add 27:45 app. You can go you can go to the first 27:48 site for free. The first site's on you, 27:50 but whatever do whatever site you go to, 27:54 it automatically pops up two related 27:57 sites and then if you click on one of 28:00 them, it puts up two more related sites. 28:02 So, it just keeps multiplying tabs. I 28:05 think that could be it. It's a It's a 28:07 It's a tab multiplying application. It's 28:11 good. It's 28:21 solid. There's an app, Board Panda, that 28:24 puts you in random places. Oh, that's 28:26 cool. Yeah, that was I I could make that 28:29 app called Fish for it. Actually, you 28:31 know what's what would be kind of cool? 28:33 Maybe I should take some of my old 28:34 dormant domains. I've got 28:38 screenplays.com and I've got 28:41 fishforit.com. I I let go of so 28:46 many. I've got ask for it. I think I let 28:49 fish for it go. I've got Ask for it. Ask 28:51 for it.com. 28:56 [Music] 29:12 It made me Buzz Lightyear. Yay! You did 29:15 it. You're a hero. Oh, you people 29:17 on on the Twitter can't see on the Tik 29:20 Tok can't see that, can you? I'll put 29:23 you up close and personal. Let's make it 29:25 bigger. Uh oh. What happened? 29:30 Uh 29:32 oh. Ran into a snag with our content 29:35 policies. Oh, this is a thing I I I I 29:38 read about on TikTok right before I came 29:40 on that OpenAI's doing this weird 29:44 thing where Okay, this actually makes 29:49 sense. So what OpenAI does is they 29:52 render your image and then right before 29:54 they finalize it, they do a 29:57 check to see not if it violates 30:01 copyright, but if it violates copyright 30:04 of someone like say Disney or Pixar that 30:07 would sue the living [ __ ] out of them 30:09 and then it deletes your image. 30:15 Okay. So, let's say um sure 30:20 let's re-imagine this 30:25 interface as if it were inter uh it were 30:33 inside a Wes Anderson 30:36 film. Is it Anderson or Sun? I think 30:40 it's Sen film. 30:49 Oh yeah, that's good. Gareth, the chat 30:51 add app would keep spawning 30:55 tabs and then it would purposefully have 30:58 memory leaks in it so that by the time 31:01 you go to the third tab, you have to 31:03 restart your 31:06 machine. I like it. This is solid. This 31:09 this some good stuff. This some good 31:11 thinking. 31:16 I can't believe Gary Marcus got butt 31:19 hurt that that I made a magazine of 31:24 him. For someone who [ __ ] shits all over 31:28 other people for a 31:30 living. I guess I shouldn't be 31:34 surprised. Let those in glass houses, 31:37 right? 31:41 Oh 31:42 man, it's cuckoo. I tell 31:46 you, I already like the color palette of 31:49 the Wes Anderson 31:51 thing. The only focus I'm interested in 31:54 these days is hyperfocus. Yeah, I know. 31:57 I 31:59 know. I'm I'm I'm starting to find a 32:02 little more inspiration and mojo. 32:07 Um, I think we're on a tipping point 32:09 here. I think I think some stuff's going 32:11 to start coming fast and furious. Um, 32:14 there was an interesting post that 32:16 someone put out about audio. And I don't 32:19 know if you remember this, but two years 32:20 ago, shortly after Chat GPT came 32:23 out, Open AAI said that they had 32:26 developed a 32:28 model that does songs. And then we 32:31 haven't heard [ __ ] from them about that 32:33 for two years. 32:35 So when they released their native image 32:37 generation model, which was also a year 32:40 and three months in the in the 32:42 making, someone mentioned that and Sam 32:45 Alman, you know, did the little lookie 32:47 eye emoji like, yeah, that could be 32:50 coming. So, you know, for what it's 32:54 worth, people. All right, look at there. 32:57 That's pretty cool. There's a Wes 32:59 Anderson version of 33:01 LinkedIn. I think that's pretty good. 33:05 the tall oval circles for the 33:09 pictures. That's pretty sweet. Nice 33:14 typography. And look, it it retained 33:17 Ethan 33:18 Mollik. It redrrew me as a sort of Wes 33:21 Anderson character. This is definitely 33:24 should something you should try. This 33:26 prompt had some amazing ideas. We're 33:28 trying to come up with a hilarious app 33:30 called Chat ADHD while trying to 33:33 brainstorm some funny ideas. Okay, 33:34 actually, you know what? Okay, fine. 33:37 Let's go do that. Let's This is a real 33:39 good excuse to play with 40. 33:42 Okay, I want you to act as a 33:49 professional 33:51 coding comedian. 33:57 You are a 34:00 product 34:03 product 34:05 visionary. 34:07 Um, who 34:09 can drop some 34:13 apps? Are you picking up what 34:18 I'm putting down? 34:24 Oh, I'm picking it up, compiling it, 34:26 optimizing it, and shipping it to 34:28 production with zero bugs. Okay, maybe 34:30 one bug for character development. 34:32 Welcome to stand up and No, I don't want 34:34 you to No, stop. Stop. Stop. Okay, 34:36 appite. 34:37 No, hold, 34:41 please. I have the idea. I need you to 34:47 help me 34:49 brainstorm. Uhuh. 34:53 [Music] 34:56 Oh, you know what we could probably 35:00 do? Hang 35:18 on. Hey, Quinn. 35:22 Hey, Kyle. What's cooking? So, you're 35:24 going to be my uh comedic app developer, 35:27 right? 35:31 Absolutely. Ready to code up some 35:33 hilarity? What's the app idea? All 35:34 right. So, the app idea is So, on my Tik 35:37 Tok channel, I nicknamed the channel 35:39 Chat Add. And so, I've had a couple of 35:42 ideas. One of them, so I want to do an 35:43 app called Chat Add. So, I had an idea 35:47 back in the early days of the internet 35:49 called fish for it where it randomly 35:51 serve up a uh a website. So, there's 35:54 something there. I also have too many 35:57 tabs open. So, another idea we had was 36:00 uh create an app that lets you go to a 36:02 website, but it spins up new tabs in 36:04 your browser for every site that you go 36:06 to. But I'm open to ideas. So, as a a 36:10 fantastically funny coder, uh why don't 36:14 you give me 10 ideas of features that 36:17 could be in an app called Chat Add. 36:24 All right, let's unleash the creative 36:25 chaos. Here are 10 features for the Chat 36:27 Add app. One, Tab Roulette. Each time 36:30 you open a new tab, it randomly selects 36:32 a website from your bookmarks or 36:34 history. Two, random site teleport. 36:36 Every 10 minutes, the app takes you to a 36:38 random site you haven't visited in the 36:40 past month to keep your curiosity alive. 36:43 Tab Tamer, an AI that groups your tabs 36:45 into themed sessions. Hey, wait. One 36:47 click. Wait, hang on. Are these are 36:48 these all sort of browser ideas? This 36:50 could also be some sort of standalone 36:52 application. Uh, think think more 36:54 broadly. Don't don't be limited by my 36:56 crappy ideas, Quinn. 37:02 Got it. Let's break free from the 37:03 browser. Number one, idea avalanche. A 37:06 feature that bombards you with random 37:08 creative prompts from story ideas to app 37:10 concepts whenever you open it. Number 37:12 two, focus flip. A timer that alternates 37:15 between intense work sprints and random 37:17 playtime activities like doodling 37:18 prompts or mini games. Number three, 37:20 Task Tornado. Jumbles your to-do list 37:23 and spits out tasks at random, so you 37:25 never know what's next. Perfect for 37:27 keeping things exciting. Number four, 37:29 Brainstorm Blitz, a virtual whiteboard 37:31 that autogenerates connections. Quinn, 37:34 it sounds like you're trying to the 37:36 these are good productivity hacks for 37:38 ADD, but but you're a comedian also. I'm 37:42 missing the humor. So, I need you to 37:44 like This is not about productivity. 37:46 Like, we've we've had [ __ ] decades of 37:49 computers making us more productive. And 37:51 it's made us stressful, needy, neurotic 37:54 [ __ ] And I don't want that. I want 37:57 this app to just bug the [ __ ] out of 38:00 people and then make them laugh 38:01 occasionally. 38:04 Gotcha. Pure chaos and comedy. Let's 38:06 shake it up. Number one, tab tsunami. 38:08 Randomly opens a ridiculous number of 38:10 tabs with absurd websites, memes, and 38:13 conspiracy theories. Number two, 38:15 procrastination station. Good. An AI 38:18 that keep going. 38:23 All right, let's keep the mischief 38:24 rolling. Number three, notification 38:26 nuisance. sends random, utterly 38:28 pointless notifications like your left 38:30 sock misses you or time to pet a cat. 38:33 Number four, mindless meme generator 38:35 creates and sends you bizarre memes 38:37 based on your recent activities just for 38:39 the lols. Number five, random reminder 38:42 ruckus sets nonsensical reminders like 38:45 don't forget to blink or have you hugged 38:47 your keyboard today. Number six, App 38:50 Venture Roulette randomly opens apps on 38:52 your phone, daring you to figure out 38:54 why. Number 38:56 seven. All right, here are a few more. 38:58 Number seven, autocorrect anarchy. A 39:00 keyboard feature that replaces words 39:02 with randomly funny alternatives, making 39:04 every message an adventure. Number 39:06 eight, reminder ridiculousness. Sets 39:09 reminders for absurd tasks like practice 39:11 your evil laugh or rehearse your 39:12 acceptance speech. Number nine, emoji 39:15 chaos. Randomly swaps your emojis with 39:17 unrelated ones, keeping your friends 39:19 guessing. Number 10. Digital distraction 39:22 duel pits you against a virtual opponent 39:25 in a battle of who can get distracted 39:27 first. Winner takes all the giggles. 39:30 What do you think? Any of these tickle 39:31 your fancy? 39:33 Yeah. Okay. So, let's 39:35 see. Let's see. Do we have them? 39:40 Yeah. Tab. 39:42 Tsunami. No. Procrastination 39:46 station. Oh, yeah. Let's see. 39:51 I think the mindless meme generator is 39:53 pretty 39:55 good. Creates and sends bizarre memes 39:58 based on your recent 40:00 activities. 40:03 Uh app venture 40:06 roulette random reminder 40:10 ruckus. 40:12 Um, but these kind of do need to live in 40:15 a browser or I'd have to create a real 40:17 app, but I don't want to do that right 40:19 now. Emoji 40:26 chaos. Um, 40:29 okay. 40:33 Okay. Okay, Quinn. So, I now want you to 40:38 help me write a an HTML based and any 40:43 flavor of HTML is fine, but I want to be 40:46 able to play with the app in the can in 40:49 a canvas. Um, for the one that just so I 40:53 guess it'll act like a word processor 40:55 and then just randomly swap out words 40:58 that you write for funnier words or 41:00 funny phrases. Um, I forget what that 41:03 one's called, but can you um get it set 41:07 up so you can start coding that? 41:12 Sure thing. Let's call it autocorrect 41:14 anarchy. Here's a simple HTML template 41:16 with a bit of JavaScript to get you 41:17 started. This will just swap out words 41:19 for funnier alternatives as you type. 41:21 All right. 41:23 www.htmlb.com heading charts. Cute. You 41:26 don't need to. They got to figure that 41:29 [ __ ] out. Okay, let's see. Um, so I I 41:32 would have had to listen to all that. 41:34 That's that's one of those things that 41:35 that's one of those things they need to 41:37 fix. Like I want to be able to talk to 41:39 her and then say, "Go write me some 41:41 code." And she's smart enough to go, "He 41:43 doesn't want me to read code." So I'll 41:45 go write code and then show him the app. 41:48 Right? That's what it needs to do. Um, 41:50 let's see. 41:53 Um, open a new 41:57 canvas and 42:00 make me an 42:04 app that lets you write a 42:09 sentence and then swaps 42:14 out a word. 42:17 When you 42:21 type the 42:25 period, what gets swapped out should be 42:31 a 42:33 funnier replacement for the chosen word. 42:45 Once the user 42:48 types two 42:50 returns a 42:53 paragraph or no one 42:56 return types a 43:00 return once wait once a 43:05 user 43:09 types a return a paragraph 43:13 F 43:14 generate I don't think this is going to 43:16 be able to do this. Generate an 43:20 image 43:22 that 43:23 represents that paragraph. All right. 43:27 Well, let's see what this does. They 43:30 need to add the ability to talk and also 43:33 see the dialogue some of the time. Yeah, 43:35 exactly. Oh my god. Dis dyslexic 43:37 simulation. Oh, that's a really 43:39 interesting idea. That's a good one. 43:42 Funny sentence 43:45 swapper. Did we just hang? What are we 43:51 doing? Code review 43:54 preview. Type your sentence and end with 43:57 a period. 43:59 My name 44:02 is name is 44:06 Ishmail. Male. Male. How do you spell 44:10 it? 44:11 Ishmail and I like 44:17 goldfish. Submit 44:25 paragraph. Okay, 44:28 stop. Okay, now it uh uh let's see. I 44:33 don't want a 44:36 submission box. I want more like a 44:41 word processor and it just does the 44:48 actions. Also, the code uh the 44:52 the 44:54 word never got 44:58 swapped. I think we'll 45:02 need a chat 45:08 GPT API call or 45:14 [Music] 45:22 something. Swing ding ding ding ding. 45:29 [Music] 45:31 preview. 45:33 Hello, 45:38 Bob. Tell them what they have won. 45:43 Period. 45:47 Okay. It doesn't swap a word after I 45:53 type a period. 45:58 It should 46:00 and it 46:02 should 46:04 flash the word it 46:08 changed. Uh uh they've got a weird 46:11 interface bug here which is pretty 46:14 funny. Am I in I'm in uh yeah I'm 46:22 in need a prompt for a cliff 46:25 cliffhanger. What's next? Autocomic. I 46:28 made ADHD humor GPT about a year ago. 46:32 There you 46:35 go. Preview. Let's go. Hello, 46:42 Bob. Tell them what they have won. 46:48 Period. Yeah. All right. This isn't 46:51 working and I'm bored. I don't give a 46:52 [ __ ] Okay. It codes better. 47:01 ding ding ding 47:02 ding. Let's make more pitches. Pitches 47:05 is pretty. Okay, let's see. Oh, so like 47:09 what do we want to do? What does this 47:11 make possible? So, do me a favor. If 47:13 you've been playing with it sounds like 47:15 some folks have been playing with 47:17 uh image gen all 47:19 day and sounds like it's pretty good. 47:24 So, just post in here. What's something 47:26 I should try? It can do character 47:28 consistency. It can do text really well. 47:31 It It kind of failed at put 50 objects 47:34 in an image. Um, it didn't quite get 47:38 that. 47:48 Um, if you're new here or just joined, 47:52 we are playing with the new image gen 47:55 tool in chat. 47:58 GPT turtle boy. Let's see. 48:03 Um, my 48:05 crew really likes 48:09 turtles, but not like the Ninja 48:15 Turtles. More like the 48:20 turtles from that kid at the 48:28 carnival who became 48:32 a 48:36 [Laughter] 48:39 meme. 48:42 Um, give 48:45 me 10 48:46 [Music] 48:49 ideas for 48:52 [Music] 48:55 characters based on 49:01 that. Let's just see what that comes up 49:03 with here. Good taste in turtles. It 49:06 literally does brand layout design. 49:10 Correct. Oh, that's pretty amazing. Lisa 49:12 Dion 49:14 Creative. Oh, brand. Yeah, brand layout. 49:17 Oh, that's cool. Okay. Yeah, let's do 49:19 that. Let's do that. Um, that's 49:22 fascinating. 49:25 You can have it generate a logo. Then 49:27 you can have it generate colors. Then 49:29 you can say start putting together the 49:31 pages of a brand book. That's 49:34 fascinating. I like it. The zombie 49:37 turtle whisperer. Okay, so these are 49:40 good characters. Great. Um, give 49:43 me 49:49 three image styles. 49:55 that will bring 49:58 these characters to 50:03 life in a way that is 50:07 completely 50:10 unique, 50:12 compelling, and visually 50:18 stunning. Oh, yes. This is where it gets 50:20 tasty. Yeah, this has definitely got 50:22 some some 50:25 uh some 50:27 creative responses here from the old 50:30 LLM. These characters are oozing 50:32 personality, so the visual style has to 50:35 match the offbeat, low-key absurd, and 50:38 oddly poetic vibe. Muted mayhem, lowfi, 50:42 surrealist suburbia. Wes Anderson meets 50:45 Where the Wild Things Are meets Polar 50:48 Polaroid Rot. That's kind of 50:58 interesting. 51:00 Hyperrealistic an anamorph aesthetic. 51:03 No. College core data pop explosion. 51:07 Terry Gilliam plus Basot plus garbage 51:10 pale kids plus Tik Tok filter hell. 51:13 Let's try that one. That's crazy. 51:21 Yes. Let's mock 51:25 up three 51:28 characters and a 51:31 poster. Oh, wait. First, we need a name 51:36 for the 51:38 series. You're a 51:42 genius. Have at it. 51:47 E. Oh, I love this part. Let's This is 51:52 They They definitely are going for some 51:54 personality. This isn't 40. This isn't 51:57 even four five. They're definitely going 51:59 for some personality here. Do you know 52:01 what? I bet this is a direct result of 52:04 is the Deep Seek. When Deep Seek showed 52:07 its thinking, it wrote it in really 52:09 creative ways. This feels like they're 52:11 going after that. 52:14 Let's name this Misfit 52:18 Turtlevere. Oh, with something. 52:22 Okay, let's see. Shell 52:25 shocked. We are the weird turtles. Oh, 52:28 irregular turtles. Turtle. Uh, like the 52:32 the irregular turtle society. Uh, okay. 52:35 Hang on. Wait, wait. 52:38 Uh, okay. My my group here are a bunch 52:42 of weirdos and they call themselves the 52:46 Irregulars. Period. We could just call 52:48 it the Irregulars or maybe something 52:50 like the Irregular Turtle 52:52 Society. Period. Give that a good long 52:56 think and come up with 10 names that are 53:00 going to make them happy. Period. Don't 53:03 forget they're weird. Comma 53:07 neurospicy comma 53:09 add OCD comma other 53:14 acronyms comma and just swell 53:23 people. Perfect. You're describing a 53:26 band of beautifully off-center 53:30 souls with big hearts and odd rhythms. 53:34 People who might miss the beat make 53:36 their own song. Let's honor that spirit. 53:38 Here's 10 name options. All 53:40 right. They're not about what's wrong. 53:43 They're about what's wonderfully 53:45 different. You see what I'm saying here, 53:48 people? You're not weird. You're 53:51 irregular. 53:53 The Irregular Turtle Society motto. Slow 53:56 is smooth. Weird is wonderful. The 54:00 shlection. No. The Order of the Bent 54:03 Spoon. Kind of like it. The soft shell 54:07 syndicate. Too hard to say. Team Turtle 54:10 Brain is not bad. Think slow, feel 54:18 fast. That's pretty good. Team Turtle 54:24 Brain. The awkward and awesome assembly. 54:28 The irregulars of 54:30 Shellington. Huh, that's not 54:34 bad. Leave a The Unhurried Union. Okay. 54:39 Um, I want you to pick the top 54:44 three and at 54:47 least one has to 54:52 have some form of 55:05 irregular in it. 55:11 explain why you picked those three and 55:15 then 55:17 recre the top 55:22 one. Team Turtle Brain. That's the one. 55:25 Okay. Team Turtle 55:29 Brain. What did I just walk 55:32 into? Wait, which one did you love, Lori 55:34 or Silver Fox? Uh, team turtle 55:38 brain. Oh, we've got to have a character 55:40 of Frank, don't 55:42 we? You can almost tell it nothing. It's 55:44 smart. Yeah, I know. It's 55:48 [Music] 55:53 crazy. All right. The Irregular Turtle 55:56 Society. Why? It made the cut. It's got 55:58 a Victorian Explorer Club energy. Like 56:01 they drink juice boxes and velvet ro 56:03 Like they drink juice boxes in velvet 56:05 robes and talk about feelings and space 56:08 turtles. Irregular is reclaimed here. 56:11 It's not broken. It's 56:15 bespoke. Yeah, we're different. We're 56:17 also organized enough to have a name and 56:19 a mascot. It's not bad. The gentle 56:23 rebellion captures the beautiful 56:25 paradox. Kind people with fire in their 56:27 bellies. I think that actually 56:29 does doesn't scream quirky or different. 56:32 It whispers it with confidence. Poetic, 56:34 timeless, the gentle rebellion. That's 56:36 kind of cool. I I I like it. And then 56:39 the irregulars of Shellington. Wyatt 56:41 made the cut. It's got lore potential. 56:44 Shellington sounds like a place, a 56:46 fictional 56:47 town, a shared headsp space, a common 56:50 map waiting to be drawn. The irregulars. 56:52 That's really good. 56:55 Okay. Oh, top pick. the Irregular Turtle 56:58 Society. So, I'll leave this to you. 57:00 Let's go 57:02 with either the Irregulars of 57:04 Shellington or the Irregular Turtle 57:06 Society. What's your 57:08 vote? So, just do 57:12 uh one is Turtle Society, two is 57:17 Shellington, the Irregulars of 57:20 Shellington. One or 57:25 two? I totally stand around in a gold ro 57:30 in a gold robe drinking a juice box. Two 57:33 one turtle. Okay. You can't you can't 57:37 vote with turtle 57:39 [Laughter] 57:43 emojis. [ __ ] 57:47 irregulars. Three. Of course. All right. 57:51 So, I got one and two. Gareth. Gareth 57:54 not taking a stand. 58:00 Uh, I think 58:02 uh I think I think the the turtle the 58:05 the irregulars of Shellington is 58:07 winning. Don't say can't turtles rule 58:10 one. More turtles in the chat. Let's go. 58:13 Well, we are we're going to make we're 58:15 going to make undecided. Okay, 58:17 so they're both good. The irregular 58:20 turtle society. I'm gonna go with the 58:22 Irregulars of Shellington. 58:24 It's weird. And what's the what was the 58:26 other one? The Gentle Rebellion. The 58:28 Gentle Rebellion sounds like um an 58:31 animated film about turtles that would 58:34 win an Oscar for short animated film, 58:37 but but it's not for this group. 58:40 Um The Irregular Turtle 58:45 Society. I think we're going with that. 58:47 I It's the one it recommended. I think 58:49 we're going there. All right. Okay. 58:51 We're in. Okay. 58:54 We're going with the irregular 59:00 turtle 59:03 society. Um, give me 10 59:09 taglines, which by the way, what we're 59:12 doing right now, back to the branding 59:14 thing, the the person that brought up 59:15 branding, I'm changing my name from 59:18 Kellington to Shellington. 59:23 Uh, well, we we'll incorporate 59:25 Shellington into it. Shellington will be 59:26 where they live. Oh, actually, Shel 59:29 Yeah, Shellington will be the the home 59:31 of the Turtle Society. Okay. Slow, soft, 59:34 slightly unhinged. We're We're not in a 59:37 rush, we're in a 59:41 mood. Well, we could also go with we're 59:43 not weird, we are 59:45 irregular. Where the weird ones wander 59:47 slowly built different shelled better 59:50 delightfully out of step. That's kind of 59:52 nice. We took the scenic route on purply 59:55 irregular proudly 59:57 so but it's the irregular turtle 1:00:00 society. So I don't think we can have a 1:00:01 regular in the 1:00:03 tagline. Built different 1:00:08 sh weird ones wonder slowly. 1:00:11 Delightfully out of 1:00:13 step. I like delightfully out of 1:00:20 step. We don't fit in, we stick 1:00:22 together. That's kind of 1:00:24 cool. Oh, actually, I like that one. The 1:00:28 world moves fast. We don't care. We 1:00:30 don't fit in, we stick together. That's 1:00:31 kind of what this group is. That's kind 1:00:33 of what we do here night after night, 1:00:34 isn't it? All right. 1:00:38 Okay. Okay. 1:00:40 Uh here it is. 1:00:43 [Music] 1:00:47 Um, 1:00:49 the 1:00:50 irregular 1:00:53 turtle 1:00:57 society. We don't fit in. We stick 1:01:00 together. 1:01:02 Um, the 1:01:06 society is 1:01:08 based in Shellington. 1:01:13 Um, and I want you to 1:01:21 write a 1:01:24 combination of 1:01:28 a brand 1:01:30 guide and an origin 1:01:35 story. Include 1:01:42 the 1:01:45 visual 1:01:48 guidance. Let's see which one was 1:01:55 [Music] 1:01:59 it. The 1:02:02 co college poor data pop explosion. 1:02:08 Wait, I don't know about 1:02:15 that. Like, h which one? Which one? 1:02:18 Which one? 1:02:19 [ __ ] Muted mayhem. Loi surrealist 1:02:23 suburbia. Wes Anderson meets Where the 1:02:25 Wild Things Are Meets Polaroid Rut Muted 1:02:28 Mayhem. All right, let's do this. 1:02:30 Include visual 1:02:32 guidance 1:02:34 for muted mayhem. 1:02:40 Um, style 1:02:42 above. All right, let's just see what 1:02:44 this does. Doesn't really matter what it 1:02:46 writes here. I just want it to Oh, it's 1:02:48 nice that it threw it in a canvas. It 1:02:50 was smart enough to know that. That's 1:02:51 nice. Good 1:02:53 call. So, we can edit 1:02:58 it. The Irregular Turtle Society. We 1:03:01 don't fit in, we stick together. That's 1:03:03 really good. In the sleepy backyard town 1:03:05 of Shellington, nestled between 1:03:08 overgrown hedges and the echoes of 1:03:10 forgotten sprinklers, a group of 1:03:11 oddballs, dreamers, and neurospicy 1:03:14 wonders found each other. This is good. 1:03:16 Hang on, I have to do 1:03:18 physical dexterity for Tik Tok. 1:03:21 [Music] 1:03:23 Um, I like the move slow, think 1:03:27 fast. Move slow, think 1:03:30 fast. Let's see. Can we get that in 1:03:33 there? We don't fit in. We stick 1:03:37 together. No, because it's a 1:03:39 society. Okay. But we can add that in. 1:03:42 Let's 1:03:43 see. Imagery and symbols, texture and 1:03:45 materials. That's look and feel. Society 1:03:49 structure. Membership requirements. 1:03:51 Final word. Oh, look. We're not in a 1:03:53 rush. We're not alone. Welcome to 1:03:55 Shellington. So, wait. 1:04:04 So we'll say we like to say to 1:04:10 say move 1:04:13 slow think 1:04:16 fast and then I'll put instead of we're 1:04:18 not 1:04:21 alone it's kind of our 1:04:29 thing. And then what was 1:04:31 it? That's kind of our 1:04:38 thing. We don't fit 1:04:43 in. We stick together. 1:04:48 Okay. Welcome to 1:04:51 Shellington. Okay. Great. Beautiful. 1:04:55 Done. That's lovely. It's lovely. 1:04:59 Lovely. Um, 1:05:03 now I want you 1:05:06 to 1:05:09 describe the 1:05:12 elements 1:05:13 of 1:05:16 Shellington that would be 1:05:21 included in 1:05:24 A 1:05:26 map. Let's just do it like 1:05:29 that. A map of Shellington would be a 1:05:31 peak into blah blah blah. Elements of 1:05:33 the map. The picnic table council ring. 1:05:36 The spiritual HQ. An old uneven picnic 1:05:40 table. Nice. The fort of slightly broken 1:05:43 things. This is really good. Not for 1:05:45 nothing. This is strong enough. This 1:05:48 This is starting to feel like a thing 1:05:50 that could be a 1:05:51 thing. Slow and steady wins the uh uh uh 1:05:55 squirrel. That's really 1:06:00 good. Let's see. 1:06:03 Um the final words. So, so let's let's 1:06:06 throw in here membership requirements, 1:06:08 uh society structure, that's design, 1:06:12 philosophy, voice and tone, core 1:06:15 values, origin, story. All right, let's 1:06:19 see. 1:06:23 It's going to create the map. Yeah, I'm 1:06:24 going to have it create the map. 1:06:25 Exactly. 1:06:28 Okay. 1:06:30 Okay. So, let me close this canvas. Oh, 1:06:34 this is the thing. If you don't know how 1:06:35 canvases work, they can be a little 1:06:37 confusing. What a canvas is is an 1:06:40 editable document that lives inside the 1:06:43 context of your larger chat. 1:06:45 And it it used to scare the [ __ ] out of 1:06:48 me to close them because I thought I'd 1:06:49 lose them, but you don't. So, if you 1:06:50 just scroll up in the chat, you'll see a 1:06:53 box that will be the the So, so this 1:06:56 thing, see how it's it's got the little 1:06:59 arrows up here. So, that's a canvas. So, 1:07:02 this is editable and I can open that in 1:07:04 a separate window, but it just lives 1:07:06 inside this longer 1:07:07 chat. 1:07:10 Okay. So, now the fun stuff. 1:07:16 I 1:07:17 want to 1:07:20 start with a logo 1:07:27 type 1:07:29 and maybe even 1:07:32 a mascot. 1:07:34 Wait, do I want that? Now the fun stuff. 1:07:37 No, I don't. Um, we'll 1:07:41 say I want you to create 1:07:51 three. Let's see. Create 1:07:55 the first three and main question 1:08:00 mark 1:08:06 characters. will do a poster at some 1:08:11 point, but I want to fall in love with 1:08:17 the 1:08:18 character style 1:08:21 first. All 1:08:23 right. So, now we've got essentially a 1:08:26 creative brief. We've got an origin 1:08:28 story. We have names 1:08:39 Clove 1:08:40 Slatterie. Well, what we should probably 1:08:42 do is is grab names from the from the 1:08:46 actual 1:08:49 irregulars. But then your egos are going 1:08:51 to get all [ __ ] up. You'll be like, "I 1:08:54 wanted to be the star. Why? Why am I 1:08:57 always the one that falls in the water? 1:09:07 Oh man. Um, would you like me to 1:09:13 illustrate? Yes, please. 1:09:20 Didn't you 1:09:23 already come up with the 1:09:27 characters 1:09:29 above? Are these three new ones based on 1:09:40 the creative 1:09:44 brief? Excellent catch. Yes, I did 1:09:46 create a batch of 10 by the I like I I 1:09:49 like 1:09:57 turtle. Here's how they connect. What 1:09:59 changed? Okay, whatever. Next 1:10:03 steps. Yes. Make me 1:10:09 a an image 1:10:12 of the first one. 1:10:24 I'm packing my bags. I'm ready to move 1:10:25 to 1:10:28 Shelington. Squirrel with a shell. Oh, 1:10:31 one of the characters should absolutely 1:10:33 be a squirrel in a shell. 1:10:40 And and the squirrel in the shell is 1:10:43 always the one that goes 1:10:48 squirrel. Yeah, this is 1:10:52 good. That looks like a person's head, 1:10:55 doesn't it? What What did it make of 1:10:59 Clove? Let's 1:11:01 see. Clove, the keeper of the snack 1:11:04 citadel, age 13. 1:11:07 She looks like she was born holding a ju 1:11:10 juice box in a secret. Oh, 1:11:21 okay. Wait, do these guys turn into 1:11:27 turtles? Wait, I'm 1:11:31 confused. That's very cool. 1:11:35 I think we these need to be turtle 1:11:37 characters, 1:11:41 right? He's like the squirrel from Ice 1:11:43 Age. If Spongebob could do 1:11:48 it. So, wait guys, should should they 1:11:52 They should be turtles, right? Not 1:11:56 kids. Oh, but make it a nutshell. That's 1:11:59 a good 1:12:00 idea. Dibs under Shellington Manor. 1:12:06 See, you can't do Here's the problem 1:12:09 with doing creative projects in the AI 1:12:12 learning lab. The irregulars are by 1:12:16 far like they're creatively genius. And 1:12:20 so whenever I try to do something, it it 1:12:23 is always annoying when you're trying to 1:12:25 do something creative when 1:12:27 someone parachutes in with ideas. It's 1:12:30 even more annoying when the ideas are 1:12:33 good because then you have to deal with 1:12:36 them. Like if people jump in with shitty 1:12:38 ideas, you're like, "Ah, that's just 1:12:40 annoying. Just move on." But that rarely 1:12:43 happens here. There's always good ideas. 1:12:44 Where are we going? What happened? I'm a 1:12:46 little late. Okay. So, we we have 1:12:49 created a new franchise called the 1:12:52 Irregular Turtle 1:12:54 Society. So, wait. So, this is a big 1:12:56 question. Are the characters turtles or 1:12:59 are the characters kids with turtle 1:13:02 friends? I think this is important. Let 1:13:04 me ask Chat 1:13:06 GPT. Oh, I like the different shoes. 1:13:08 Hang 1:13:09 on. I am 1:13:15 confused. I 1:13:17 think we're a work 1:13:21 nightmare. Characters are turtles. Yeah, 1:13:23 characters are turtles. Uh, I think what 1:13:26 we 1:13:29 intended, and by 1:13:32 we, I mean the overly 1:13:38 opinionated 1:13:42 irregulars and 1:13:43 [Music] 1:13:46 me. It's 1:13:48 rare, but I agree with them. 1:13:56 Um, irregulars, we 1:14:02 think all of the characters are 1:14:08 animals, not 1:14:16 kids. Get it? I love this shift. Animal 1:14:19 characters unlock a whole new layer of 1:14:21 charm. metaphor, visual magic. We'll 1:14:25 take the same personalityrich approach, 1:14:27 but channel it through the lens. We're 1:14:29 going to also try something. I while 1:14:31 this is an interesting uh look and feel, 1:14:34 it's a 1:14:36 little it's a little 1:14:41 [Music] 1:14:43 precious. So, my instinct was number 1:14:46 three. So, let's go grab 1:14:49 that. Where? 1:14:52 Where? I'm so confused. Where's my 1:14:55 number three? Okay, there it 1:15:01 is. Ding ding ding ding ding. Uh, would 1:15:04 you like me to reimagine Clove? Yes. 1:15:07 Yes, 1:15:08 please. Let's see what this looks 1:15:11 like. And an anth uh, an anthropo. Wait, 1:15:16 they have to be turtles. An 1:15:17 anthropomorphized anthrop 1:15:21 anthropomorph 1:15:24 fistness 1:15:27 anthropomorphized. Well, let's see what 1:15:28 they do. I have an idea for the 1:15:30 irregulars to create the turtle version 1:15:32 of themselves and post it to the AI 1:15:34 salon. That's a good idea. Oh, that's a 1:15:37 great idea. Wait, let's get this let's 1:15:39 get this 1:15:41 uh let me get this description of the 1:15:46 style first or let's get a picture that 1:15:49 we can start with. Actually, what you 1:15:52 can do Yeah, this is good. We'll get a 1:15:55 picture we like. We'll put it in 1:15:58 irregulars. This has to live in 1:16:00 irregulars. And I'll post like the 1:16:03 official 1:16:04 one in there. And then you can all take 1:16:08 that and you can use that as the style 1:16:10 to make your own turtle character. Oh, 1:16:13 this is good. This is good. This is 1:16:17 good. 1:16:20 Anthropomorphicness. 1:16:22 Yes. 1:16:24 Um, why does he look so [ __ ] sad? 1:16:31 All right, we're going to say 1:16:33 um this is kind of a 1:16:38 depressing 1:16:42 aesthetic. I want it to um 1:16:48 be 1:16:50 more subtly joyful. 1:16:54 Let me see 1:16:57 clove in 1:17:00 the 1:17:06 style. He looks like a depressed 1:17:08 Franklin. He does. Scrappy skunk with 1:17:11 black and white 1:17:13 nutshell. I was making frog and toad 1:17:16 images yesterday. This is very close. 1:17:18 That's really funny. Oh man, he looks 1:17:21 sad because he's out of Bllandon's. I 1:17:23 know. I'm so out of Bllandens. It's so 1:17:25 sad. Then we can use all the 1:17:28 description with our own pics. Yeah, 1:17:31 exactly. 1:17:34 Exactly. This is really fun. But I want 1:17:36 to get to like once we can get to a look 1:17:38 and feel for the 1:17:40 characters, then we can um then we can 1:17:43 come up with a logo, then we can come up 1:17:46 with a poster, and then once we have 1:17:47 that, then we can Oh, this is kind of 1:17:49 cool. Take things from there. I think 1:17:51 this is feeling better. That other one, 1:17:53 the other, that other style was looking 1:17:55 like the kind of film that would get 1:17:57 submitted for an Academy Award. We want 1:18:00 something more fun than 1:18:01 [Laughter] 1:18:05 that. Doesn't Forro make images with no 1:18:08 background? Yes. So, they can be on 1:18:10 different backgrounds. Well, but you can 1:18:12 do that anyway. It's also got character 1:18:14 consistency, Silver Fox. So, you can 1:18:15 just say give them a different 1:18:17 background. Okay. This is definitely the 1:18:19 vibe. 1:18:23 [Music] 1:18:27 All right. So, then we're going to say, 1:18:30 okay, this is the 1:18:33 vibe and the world we want to play 1:18:38 in. 1:18:41 Um, oh, and it did. It put her name on 1:18:44 it. Okay, great. 1:18:55 Now that we have this uh no, let's see. 1:19:00 Let's 1:19:01 say 1:19:04 now give me the next 1:19:10 character. Let's get these other 1:19:12 characters going. Wait, we have to give 1:19:15 ourselves names to new names, too. 1:19:18 No, I don't think so. I think when you 1:19:20 make your own, you just say you just say 1:19:23 what name you want it to 1:19:24 be. Like Danielle could put be not 1:19:27 afraid or Danielle. I don't care. You 1:19:29 put what you create your character till 1:19:31 you're happy with it and then 1:19:37 um and then put your own name on it and 1:19:40 then I'll collect them 1:19:41 all. I don't know what we're going to do 1:19:43 with these, but it'll be fun. 1:19:52 Uh 1:19:54 yes, I we're we're 1:20:00 in the image phase 1:20:07 now. Dibs on 1:20:09 Jonathan. Jonathan's a good name. 1:20:13 Jonathan's 1:20:14 [Laughter] 1:20:21 good. Well, and then and then here's a 1:20:23 question. I I think it's more 1:20:25 comedically 1:20:27 sound if you just 1:20:30 have if if everyone is turtles, but 1:20:33 there's one squirrel. 1:20:36 But there are also like Cindy [ __ ] would 1:20:39 probably want to be a raccoon and like 1:20:41 we've got all the other animals that 1:20:43 that you could choose to be. So we've 1:20:46 got to have a prepundonderance of 1:20:48 turtles because it doesn't make sense to 1:20:50 call it 1:20:51 the irregular turtle society if there's 1:20:54 not some turtles in 1:20:58 there. This is how communities fall 1:21:00 apart. By the way, I guarantee you we're 1:21:03 going to get in a fist fight over 1:21:05 whether it should be more turtles or if 1:21:07 there should be more diversity of 1:21:09 animals in the ranks of the turtle 1:21:11 society. This is the kind of thing that 1:21:13 breaks up 1:21:15 [Music] 1:21:16 communities. Wait, why? Speaking of 1:21:19 that's a lemur. Speaking of that, 1:21:23 why is he Ezie Booth chief cgrapher? Oh, 1:21:26 sleepy eyed 1:21:28 lemur, but insist he's technically part 1:21:31 [Laughter] 1:21:45 moth. There needs to be all animals like 1:21:48 how we had in the AI learning lab zoo. 1:21:50 Okay, fine. Follow the vibe. Yonder. 1:21:53 Okay, but wait. 1:21:57 Wait. So, wait. The style's 1:22:01 different. 1:22:03 Um, the style 1:22:06 changed and it needs a name 1:22:14 card. We need a 1:22:20 consistent look and feel for this world. 1:22:29 How about you could have your own shell? 1:22:31 Oh, that's kind of 1:22:34 cool. Doesn't have to be a regular 1:22:36 shell. You 1:22:39 [Music] 1:22:41 see, you're you're absolutely right. And 1:22:43 this is the kind of creative rigger the 1:22:45 the irregulars would absolutely bring to 1:22:47 the table, probably while covered in 1:22:49 glitter and eating pickles. 1:22:52 it. Okay. It's It's disturbingly 1:22:54 annoying how how well it describes the 1:22:57 personalities in this 1:23:03 group. 1:23:06 Yes. Just [ __ ] make this [ __ ] Stop 1:23:09 describing it, you [ __ ] wordy 1:23:13 minks. No freaking way I'm eating 1:23:15 pickles. 1:23:20 Oh, lordy. All right. So, I think what 1:23:23 we'll do next is we'll do we'll see if 1:23:26 we can get we can see if we can get the 1:23:28 lemur in the right color 1:23:36 palette. The irregular turtle society. 1:23:39 This is good. This is one we can play 1:23:41 with for a while. We can play play with 1:23:42 this over a course of 1:23:46 nights. We'll come up with a 1:23:53 song. We're irregular. Irregular. We're 1:23:57 not the same. We're 1:23:59 different. Walk slow. Think 1:24:02 [Laughter] 1:24:10 fast. Am I late? Did I miss anything? 1:24:13 Yeah, Jeff. We've just created an entire 1:24:15 [ __ ] IP franchise here. here that's 1:24:17 going to be worth hundreds of millions 1:24:19 of 1:24:20 dollars and you weren't 1:24:24 here. Oh, good 1:24:26 lord. I thought we established the rules 1:24:29 for this place. You show up. You show 1:24:33 up. If you don't show up, you miss 1:24:37 out. Oh, good 1:24:40 lord. Uh, I'm in a regulars in front of 1:24:43 my Shellington Manor. That's good. Okay, 1:24:46 wait, hang 1:24:47 on. So, if you've not been to the AI 1:24:50 salon, if you don't know what the [ __ ] 1:24:51 we're talking about, go 1:24:54 here, the salon.ai, click on join our 1:24:57 community, and that's going to take you 1:24:59 over to this place I'm about to 1:25:07 go. And then I'm going to hop into the 1:25:10 irregulars channel, which there we are. 1:25:12 There turtles, Shellington branch. Very 1:25:15 nice. Steo coming in hot with the Jibli 1:25:19 looking kid. Oh, wait. I'm not sharing 1:25:21 this tab. How's that not sharing the 1:25:23 tab? Come on, stupid screen 1:25:31 share. All right. There's There's Steo's 1:25:35 turtle 1:25:35 [Laughter] 1:25:40 kid. Kelly Camp. Oh, that's nice. 1:25:43 Kellington from 1:25:49 Shillington. There's Joker. Very nice. I 1:25:53 like it. I like 1:25:55 it. Kyle, I don't know what we're going 1:25:58 to do with these, but it'll be fun. 1:26:00 That's good. I like that one. Nice, 1:26:02 Vicki. All right. There's Elon answering 1:26:05 the hard question in the ethics club 1:26:07 meeting right now. Is he stealing my 1:26:09 data? Nice. Welcome to the AI learning 1:26:13 lab. This is good. I like our new image 1:26:16 generation tool. Someone said it earlier 1:26:18 that they feel like, you know, energized 1:26:20 for the first time in a long time. Oh, 1:26:22 Jim Ross said it like it feels like the 1:26:24 early days, like discovering what's 1:26:27 possible now. Now that this thing 1:26:30 essentially does exactly what you need 1:26:31 it to do, it it it really is a 1:26:35 significant significant 1:26:37 thing. Um, okay, back to chat. 1:26:40 Jeepa. All right. There's there's Ezie 1:26:43 Booth. Uh, now 1:26:48 make third 1:26:50 image. 1:26:52 Make third image. 1:26:59 Why GPT ocean? Why does GPT have memory 1:27:03 of everything we ask or mentioned? It 1:27:07 doesn't. How do you save it? example. I 1:27:10 don't want GPT to remember. I visited 1:27:12 London two years ago, although I asked 1:27:15 for tourist places. Okay, Vicki can't 1:27:18 stop laughing. That's good. I like it. 1:27:20 Okay. I I'm also thinking like I I'm 1:27:24 also thinking we might want to just turn 1:27:26 the irregulars loose to make your own 1:27:29 character and like let the styles be 1:27:31 whatever the styles are going to be and 1:27:33 then maybe we reconcile them in some 1:27:35 other way. 1:27:37 Everybody should be posting in the 1:27:38 irregulars 1:27:41 channel. So if you're in the AI salon 1:27:44 down the lefth hand side, you go down to 1:27:47 clubs and 1:27:48 hubs and the irregulars channel is one 1:27:51 two three four down the 1:27:53 list and just post it in sh show cool 1:27:58 things. And we should also do hashtag 1:28:02 um turtle society. 1:28:06 Okay. So, so that we know, do do hashtag 1:28:09 turtle society so that we know it's part 1:28:11 of this 1:28:14 project. And we might even need to make 1:28:17 our own space so that the turtle 1:28:20 society actually, you know, this is 1:28:22 actually kind of an 1:28:24 interesting Okay, here's what could be 1:28:28 cool about this. I could see us making a 1:28:31 space that's independent of irregulars 1:28:33 called the Irregular Turtle 1:28:37 Society. That is a 1:28:40 joint like creative project thing where 1:28:44 everyone just makes their own [ __ ] but 1:28:47 but we give each other permission to use 1:28:50 the other 1:28:52 characters because you could 1:28:55 take Yeah. Yeah. I mean, what's cool is 1:28:57 like you could take Joker's photographic 1:29:00 picture of his turtle in the in the 1:29:02 Joker outfit and Vickiy's one that looks 1:29:05 like what I did. You could upload those 1:29:07 both to Chat GPT and say, I you know, 1:29:10 here's what these characters are named. 1:29:12 I want them in this new style that's my 1:29:14 style. And then you could make an 1:29:16 animation or you could make a children's 1:29:18 book or you could make a thing like I 1:29:19 don't know. There might be something. 1:29:20 There might be a a 1:29:22 cool collaborative thing where we can 1:29:25 each do our own independent thing, but 1:29:27 we're doing it in this 1:29:30 coordinated kind 1:29:33 of I don't know, fascinating way. It's 1:29:36 an IP nightmare, but who gives a 1:29:41 [ __ ] This is this is the wild west 1:29:44 phase of of of the the AI world. There's 1:29:49 Shellington. Who's that? Jackie, not in 1:29:51 love with it yet, but really nice. Like 1:29:53 you you gotta have you gotta have a a 1:29:56 doctor. You gotta have a do. Is there a 1:29:58 doctor in the 1:30:01 house? All right, there's Hazel. Oh, 1:30:03 Hazel looks [ __ ] 1:30:05 sad. Are these three looking very 1:30:07 different 1:30:09 stylistically? They're in the same 1:30:10 neighborhood. All right. Okay. 1:30:14 Um I'm not grooving on it all of a 1:30:17 sudden. 1:30:19 Well, at least it's not Studio Gibbli. 1:30:22 Fine. So let's 1:30:24 say now make a 1:30:27 poster with 1:30:30 the name of 1:30:33 the show, the 1:30:38 tagline, 1:30:40 these three 1:30:43 characters, and 1:30:46 a pond in the background. 1:30:53 near the picnic 1:30:57 table, 1:30:59 waiting for others to 1:31:09 show. It should be the most 1:31:16 awesomest poster ever. 1:31:29 I wonder if you can share 1:31:32 uh chats that have images in them 1:31:39 yet. Uh oh, might have just crashed my 1:31:42 browser. I think I did. Ah, [ __ ] 1:31:46 [Laughter] 1:31:49 Oh my god. 1:31:50 [Laughter] 1:31:55 [Music] 1:32:01 Cute. What are we doing here? Did we 1:32:03 break things? I think we broke 1:32:06 things. 1:32:12 Reload. The Irregular Turtle Society. 1:32:15 Oh, that's kind of cool. I kind of like 1:32:16 that style. We don't fit in. We stick 1:32:22 together. Yeah, this is kind of cool. 1:32:24 This is kind of cool. So, in 1:32:26 fact, so so here's your requirement. 1:32:29 I'll give you the description. I I'll 1:32:32 I'll upload all these into a single post 1:32:34 that's got this description of the 1:32:36 style, but you can all make your own 1:32:38 characters. If you use this style or 1:32:40 not, I don't think it matters because 1:32:42 I'll be able to pull in characters and 1:32:44 say, "Translate that character into this 1:32:47 style." And you can do the same. You can 1:32:49 take some of these characters and do 1:32:51 them. So, all right. That's kind of fun. 1:32:53 I dig that. All right. I like the 1:32:58 uh I like the title. It's weird. It's 1:33:04 weird. It's not weird. It's 1:33:06 [Laughter] 1:33:13 [Music] 1:33:15 irregular. Salon irregulars. Cool stuff. 1:33:18 Correct. Share cool things. Yep. 1:33:22 Exactly. New activity. Vicky Baptist. 1:33:26 Vicki Pop. 1:33:33 Wow. I like it. I'm a rule follower. 1:33:36 Added my name. Exactly. So, be like 1:33:38 Vicki as always. Be like Vicki. Oh, that 1:33:41 pic of Elon and Ireulars on my phone. 1:33:44 The numbers is ref. Oh, wait. That pick 1:33:47 of Elon in Ires is midjourney with my 1:33:51 phone number as the ref. Oh, cool. 1:33:53 That's Oh, that was a nice one. Who's 1:33:55 that one? Kelly 1:33:58 Camp. I like it. Kelly from 1:34:01 Shellington. Yeah. Put your get your 1:34:04 name. So, Jackie, 1:34:06 um, Kelly, put your names on your 1:34:10 turtles. Whatever you want to be called. 1:34:12 Joker. I think we're clear 1:34:17 on. Yeah, that's a cool style. I like 1:34:19 it. Um, all right. What's going on over 1:34:22 here? Did we finish this? What's Why Why 1:34:24 is this not 1:34:27 done? Do we got to reload again? I think 1:34:30 we do. I think we got a hung window, 1:34:32 people. Oh, that's cool. But wait, 1:34:36 Bertrren and May. 1:34:43 Okay. 1:34:45 Um, okay. Wait here. Wait. Let's go. Oh, 1:34:48 we'll try it now. Okay. Watch. So, we're 1:34:50 going to grab 1:34:51 Vicki. We're going to go save image 1:34:55 as 1:34:57 Vicki. Save that to the 1:35:01 desktop. We'll grab 1:35:03 Kelly. Save image as Oh, Kellington. 1:35:07 That's 1:35:08 Kelly. Kelly. 1:35:13 Um, we'll do 1:35:24 Jackie and then we'll do 1:35:28 Joker. Save image 1:35:31 as Joker. Okay. So, now watch this. This 1:35:37 should be cool. So, we're going to 1:35:39 upload 1:35:43 Those 1:35:46 four unable to upload 1:35:50 AVIF. Oh, for [ __ ] sake. You got to be 1:35:54 kidding 1:35:59 me. It's just 1:36:01 unbelievable. 1:36:03 Export. It really is unbelievable. to 1:36:08 JPEG. 1:36:11 Export to 1:36:13 JPEG. 1:36:17 Export to 1:36:19 JPEG. You know, we have we have in the 1:36:22 world today, we have technology that can 1:36:27 generate screenplays out of nothingness. 1:36:31 Can generate images that look like 1:36:33 someone was there even when they 1:36:35 weren't. can make movies, can make 1:36:37 songs, can write code, can read code, 1:36:40 can interpret 3D art 1:36:43 programming, and we can't [ __ ] open a 1:36:46 file 1:36:48 format. 1:36:52 Really? Honest to [ __ ] 1:36:56 God. It's like like come on. 1:37:03 Okay. Now add in these charact 1:37:09 characters in the poster 1:37:13 along 1:37:15 with So wait, we've got Clove in there. 1:37:18 Does she look like she 1:37:20 did? Sort of. Yeah, with Clove, 1:37:27 Ezie, and 1:37:33 Hazel, Ezy, and 1:37:46 Hazel. Let's just see how it does. 1:37:52 So, we should 1:37:53 get we should get a poster that's now 1:37:57 got a crazy Joker turtle, a Kelly with 1:38:02 long hair, a a green 1:38:04 Vicki, a Shellington Jackie, and then 1:38:08 the other two, Hazel the Bunny, and Ezie 1:38:12 the lemur. 1:38:21 And they're all AVIF files. Oh my 1:38:25 god. It's just 1:38:28 exhausting. It It really is [ __ ] 1:38:35 [Music] 1:38:40 exhausting. Oh, we got new activity. 1:38:44 Joker. Joker coming in hot with the 1:38:46 squirrel in the turtle shell. I like 1:38:50 it. Are Are you Are you calling the the 1:38:54 squirrel 1:38:55 Joker? Are Are you the 1:38:58 interloper? You trying to distract 1:39:01 people with your hat and fancy show that 1:39:04 that they won't notice that you're furry 1:39:06 instead of 1:39:07 [Laughter] 1:39:11 scaly? Squirtle. Oh, I like it. Joker 1:39:15 the Squirtle. Okay, that's that's really 1:39:18 good. Wait, we gota we we've got to add 1:39:21 that character. Joker the Squirtle. 1:39:24 Okay, save image as. All right, so this 1:39:28 is 1:39:29 Joker the 1:39:37 Squirtle. That's good. I like it. But I 1:39:39 got to go 1:39:41 uh change it from AVIF to 1:39:45 JPEG. Why? Because the world's most 1:39:50 valuable and important and profound 1:39:53 company in the history of technology can 1:39:56 import an AVIF file. Thank you. Thank 1:39:59 you. I'll be here all night. 1:40:08 It's [ __ ] exhausting. Oh, look. It 1:40:12 did it. Holy [ __ ] 1:40:17 people. But it didn't put Ezie 1:40:20 in. So, so, okay. So, we're going to 1:40:24 have 1:40:26 to we're gonna have to get better at 1:40:29 prompting. But this is [ __ ] 1:40:32 amazing. Look at that. 1:40:36 So, let's 1:40:38 upload. So, let Wait. So, it got So, it 1:40:42 got Jackie. So, it got U4 and then it 1:40:45 invented a new character and Ez's not 1:40:50 right. Okay. So, let's 1:40:53 see. So, we're going to upload for from 1:40:56 computer. 1:40:59 Um, 1:41:00 slight 1:41:02 change. The 1:41:05 Joker 1:41:07 character is actually a 1:41:12 squirrel in a turtle 1:41:18 shell. shell called 1:41:24 um Joker the 1:41:33 Squirtle. I like that. Okay. Um 1:41:38 semicolon. The one in the white lab 1:41:45 coat is Jackie. 1:41:52 The 1:41:55 alligator shouldn't be there, 1:42:01 but 1:42:02 the 1:42:04 characters you created 1:42:08 before should be there. 1:42:13 Also, 1:42:19 it's Clove the 1:42:23 turtle with the 1:42:25 flowers in her 1:42:28 hair. 1:42:30 Ezy the 1:42:32 lemur. And what the [ __ ] was the other 1:42:34 one 1:42:35 called? I That image is really good. Why 1:42:39 is this Why am I stuck? Oh no. Did I 1:42:42 just lose that? 1:42:45 Oh, I'm such a loser. Oh no, I didn't. 1:42:49 Okay, slight change. Thank 1:42:53 god. Ezie the lemur 1:42:58 and Hazel the 1:43:06 bunny there. 1:43:10 should be a 1:43:13 total of seven, 1:43:16 right? 1:43:18 Yeah, seven characters. 1:43:22 Now, all right, and we're 1:43:28 off. Where did the crocodile come 1:43:31 from? I can't believe how good that was. 1:43:36 This is I I mean, honest to God, at this 1:43:41 point, you could take pictures of your 1:43:44 kids and their friends or just your 1:43:48 kids and turn each one of them into a 1:43:51 different animal, but keep their 1:43:55 face and then start to create entire 1:43:58 This is This is [ __ ] 1:44:02 bonkers. It really is. It really is kind 1:44:05 of [ __ ] 1:44:08 nuts. I was still trying to figure out 1:44:11 why the h why the 1:44:13 lemurs sexuality is relevant. Did they 1:44:16 did they give the lemur 1:44:23 sexuality? No, they 1:44:26 didn't. You [ __ ] 1:44:30 weirdo. Follow the vibe. 1:44:35 [Laughter] 1:44:37 Oh my 1:44:44 god. Come on, get 1:44:47 started. This is really good. It's not 1:44:50 What What's frustrating 1:44:53 is maybe because the the chat is so 1:44:57 big. Like I love the saturation of this. 1:45:01 Like you probably can't see that too 1:45:02 good on on Tik 1:45:04 Tok, but like the saturation's really 1:45:07 good on that. And then all the other 1:45:09 things are are this muted weirdass muted 1:45:15 color. But I I think what you 1:45:17 would image created. 1:45:21 No, not that I can see. Oh, we're back 1:45:23 to screen redraw problems. Unable to 1:45:26 load the conversation. 1:45:29 Nice. 1:45:31 Uh oh, it's my my browser's [ __ ] in the 1:45:35 bed. That's what's going on 1:45:40 [Music] 1:45:52 here. Oh no, did we lose that other 1:45:56 [ __ ] prompt? 1:45:58 Oh 1:45:59 no. Wait, no. This is a new image. Oh 1:46:05 no. So it put Jackie in 1:46:08 twice. The lemur's not the right color. 1:46:12 Now we've got two two Joker Squirtles. 1:46:15 Vickiy's 1:46:16 gone. 1:46:18 Okay, rest assured AI is still janky as 1:46:22 [ __ ] 1:46:27 So, I think the way that you would 1:46:29 really do this now that we're looking at 1:46:34 it, I like this look and feel. So, I 1:46:37 think we would download this 1:46:40 image. We would then download those are 1:46:44 already downloaded. We would then 1:46:46 download 1:46:48 Hazel. We download 1:46:53 Ezie. And we'll 1:46:55 download 1:47:11 Clove. And then we'll 1:47:13 say make a 1:47:17 poster in the style of 1:47:21 the 1:47:24 uploaded 1:47:26 poster with 1:47:30 each of 1:47:32 the 1:47:35 uploaded characters 1:47:40 represented. Do not 1:47:43 label 1:47:45 any 1:47:47 characters. I think this is going to be 1:47:49 the way we're going to have to do it. 1:47:51 So, we'll go 1:47:54 upload this. This 1:47:57 oops this this 1:48:00 this 1:48:03 upload. And then we'll go 1:48:09 to Yeah. 1:48:12 these open. All 1:48:18 right, let's see how that does. I think 1:48:22 this will 1:48:23 work. I found reroll does better. Oh, 1:48:27 reroll. Oh, 1:48:29 interesting. How do you Where do you 1:48:33 roll? Rate. Where do you roll? 1:48:41 How do you 1:48:44 reroll? Oh, it's probably I probably 1:48:47 can't do it because it's generating 1:48:48 something right now. All right, let's 1:48:49 let's let this thing go and then I'll 1:48:51 try to reroll that one up 1:48:54 above. All right, so Society is spelled 1:48:58 wrong. Oh my 1:49:03 god, there it's not. But is irregular 1:49:06 spelled wrong? Yeah, irregular spelled 1:49:08 wrong in that one. What about this one? 1:49:11 The Irregular Turtle Society. There it's 1:49:13 spelled correctly. That one's pretty 1:49:19 good. Looks 100% like an OpenAI issue, 1:49:23 not 1:49:24 browser, but I know it pains you to say 1:49:26 bad things about 1:49:29 them. No, I did. I said they were janky 1:49:32 as [ __ ] AI is still janky. 1:49:41 But yeah, it's probably them. I would 1:49:43 agree with you, 1:49:46 Pate. I'll say poo poo things. Hey, 1:49:48 Pate, did you did you see my Gary 1:49:51 Marcus? I got a rise out of Gary Marcus. 1:49:53 Were you here 1:49:57 earlier? I made I made Neolite magazine 1:50:01 with Gary Marcus on the cover. 1:50:06 his his book, Brains Weigh More Than 1:50:12 GPUs. He didn't like it. He said I was 1:50:15 bullying 1:50:19 him. Sorry, 1:50:23 Gary. Oh my god. Have we started yet? 1:50:27 Come on. Let's go. 1:50:30 I have a feeling their little Sam Sammy 1:50:33 Sammy old Alman said their old GPUs are 1:50:36 are melting under the load of all these 1:50:38 images being 1:50:46 generated. All right, while that thing's 1:50:48 doing its thing, let's jump over here 1:50:52 to Ires and see if we got some new 1:50:54 stuff. Kyle's image really does remind 1:50:57 me of the Franklin books. Oh, yeah. 1:50:58 Franklin rides a bike. Yeah. Yeah. 1:51:00 Yeah. Huh. That's a good one. Silver 1:51:03 Fox. Oh, I love it. The Silver Turtle. I 1:51:07 like it. That's nice. Jeff Flanigan. 1:51:13 Nice. Love 1:51:15 it. Danielle, beautiful. That's cool. 1:51:19 Gareth. Nice. The 1:51:21 painter. These are very 1:51:24 cool. All right. Val. All right. 1:51:28 So, all right. We're going to have to 1:51:31 figure out a way to Well, let's see how 1:51:34 this poster does with the multiple 1:51:36 uploads. Image created. All right. Yeah, 1:51:38 this is chat GBT is [ __ ] up right 1:51:43 now. The irregular turtle 1:51:47 society. There's Vicki. There's the 1:51:49 lemur. There's the bunny. The Joker. 1:51:52 It's still confused as [ __ ] with the 1:51:54 Joker turtle. There's three of 1:51:57 them. We lost We lost 1:52:02 Kellington. We don't fit in. We stick 1:52:04 together. Okay. Um, let's try a 1:52:10 completely new 1:52:16 style. Don't forget the 1:52:19 backstory. Oh, yeah. You had the 1:52:21 backstory in there. 1:52:28 de G from Shellington was raised by 1:52:30 hermit crabs and once slipped on a sea 1:52:33 cucumber so gracefully it accidentally 1:52:36 started a global craze of shrimp 1:52:39 yoga. He claims he invented underwater 1:52:42 mindfulness and lost a sandwich to a 1:52:45 seagull on purpose to practice humility. 1:52:48 Now he teaches barnacle seminars and 1:52:50 swears mashed up kelp is the secret to 1:52:52 inner peace. His motto, flex your fins, 1:52:55 find your 1:52:56 zen. I like 1:53:03 it. Oh, [ __ ] crazy. All right. Well, 1:53:07 let's let Chat GPT do one more thing and 1:53:09 then we'll get get the hell out of here. 1:53:12 Wait, what's this? 1:53:15 Oh, surreal stop motion puppet style. 1:53:32 Which do you think works 1:53:42 [Music] 1:53:44 best? Barnacle seminar is the next 1:53:47 craze. Beautiful question. Dreamcore 1:53:50 soft 1:53:53 glitch. Let me see the 1:53:58 poster in 1:54:04 this. Turtles are multiplying like 1:54:07 rabbits. That's pretty good. 1:54:17 Ding ding ding ding 1:54:24 ding. Oh 1:54:27 man. All right. All right, 1:54:30 peoples. We're going to start winding 1:54:32 this party down. We'll wait for this 1:54:34 thing to not redraw the screen 1:54:36 correctly. 1:54:43 de nice work on the turtle characters, 1:54:47 everyone. If you haven't created a 1:54:48 turtle character yet, you're not 1:54:51 irregular enough. Um, we need to get to 1:54:55 know the turtles. Yeah, 1:54:58 exactly. Yeah, everyone should add a 1:55:00 backstory. I like that. Everyone could 1:55:02 add a backstory. Yeah, adding a 1:55:05 backstory. Like there's kind of a cool 1:55:08 version of this moving forward. What it 1:55:11 probably looks like is 1:55:16 um God. But this is this is what we're 1:55:19 gonna have to start to do. Like like 1:55:21 what I like about this as a project is 1:55:23 it's going to teach us how to how to 1:55:26 wrangle a bunch of ideas. 1:55:31 Um I could see us bringing in [ __ ] from 1:55:34 the irregulars channel into chat GPT. 1:55:38 have chat GPT write characters with each 1:55:41 thing with the with the 1:55:44 image. Maybe put that into a PDF. Put 1:55:48 them all in a notebook LM. Just store 1:55:50 like this whole world in notebook LM. 1:55:53 Oh, that was the other thing we were 1:55:54 going to do is we're going to do a map. 1:55:55 Maybe we'll do that 1:55:57 tomorrow. We can continue this tomorrow. 1:55:59 And then cuz there's also like songs and 1:56:02 videos and posters and story books 1:56:07 and I don't know, think about 1:56:10 it. If they had run a report on what 1:56:12 kind of images are created, heads will 1:56:14 be scratching as to why a bunch of 1:56:16 people are creating turtles. Yeah, I 1:56:21 know. We've been 1:56:23 hacked. I want to know who this 1:56:25 irregular turtle society is. I'm pretty 1:56:28 sure they're a hacking group out of 1:56:30 [Laughter] 1:56:43 Russia. I showed three business owners 1:56:46 today the new version of chat GPT4 image 1:56:48 and they were blown away. It's pretty 1:56:50 stunning. I mean, it's it's dramatic how 1:56:53 slow it is. It sucks how slow it is, but 1:56:55 it is really good. 1:56:57 It's really good. Oh, that's 1:57:01 nice. 1:57:03 Wow. That's a cool 1:57:06 style. That's sort of 1:57:12 glowy. It made Joker a lemur and a 1:57:20 squirrel. Oh, sorry. You can't see it 1:57:23 there. 1:57:28 [Music] 1:57:32 The Irregular Turtle Society. That's 1:57:34 kind of cool. All right, I'll post this 1:57:36 one. Copy image. I'll throw this one 1:57:37 over 1:57:41 there. 1:57:45 What? 1:57:50 Seriously, this can't be that big. Copy 1:57:53 image. 1:57:57 Paste. You're an [ __ ] You're all 1:58:00 [ __ ] Save image 1:58:03 as the 1:58:05 Irregular Turtle 1:58:09 [Music] 1:58:12 Society. And I think what I'll do is 1:58:14 I'll also 1:58:17 um let me close this. I'll also save out 1:58:22 that kind that well that one was kind of 1:58:27 cool. But this one I like this one has 1:58:29 kind of a neat style to it. So let me 1:58:31 save this one out as the irregular 1:58:34 turtle society the 1:58:38 it. 1:58:41 Okay. So now let me go over here and pop 1:58:44 those things 1:58:47 in. Yeah. 1:58:55 It totally it totally uh 1:58:59 ignored Kelly Camp. Wait, why are these 1:59:02 are 1:59:06 these? I I I I I'm gonna I'm gonna hurt 1:59:11 some engineer 1:59:13 someday 1:59:15 because of this [ __ ] file format 1:59:21 [ __ ] This is This is for the 1:59:24 [ __ ] 1:59:25 birds. Uh 1:59:28 export. I mean, you got to be kidding 1:59:30 me. And it's it's all different 1:59:33 applications. 1:59:35 Every [ __ ] application has its own 1:59:38 goddamn format and then it won't import 1:59:41 anyone 1:59:42 else's. The 1:59:45 [ __ ] All right, that's in there. Can I 1:59:47 add more? No, but I can do a comment, 1:59:49 right? 1:59:52 Um, this is a cool look. Now, here's the 1:59:55 cool thing you can do. Look, this is a 1:59:58 cool look if you want 2:00:01 to. So, I'm not going to notify everyone 2:00:04 that we're doing this. And then I'll 2:00:06 I'll put a comment I I'll put a comment 2:00:08 in 2:00:09 here. That's the other look and feel. 2:00:12 This 2:00:14 one, because of the way Chat GPT works 2:00:18 now, you can just download those images, 2:00:21 upload them to 2:00:22 ChatGpt with your character in there or 2:00:25 whatever and just say, "Make some other 2:00:27 image." You don't have to make a title 2:00:29 page. You can make whatever. 2:00:32 So, just let's start sharing sit [ __ ] in 2:00:35 here. All right, there you go. That was 2:00:45 fun. How is everybody? Is anybody still 2:00:50 awake? Anybody still here? 2:00:55 Anybody? No, it's pronounced irregulars. 2:00:58 Repeat after me. 2:01:02 World building with Notebook LM has been 2:01:04 a goal of mine for a while. Getting 2:01:05 closer, but not quite there yet. You're 2:01:08 not quite yet there yet. Or Notebook LM 2:01:10 is not quite there yet. Jeff, that's an 2:01:12 interesting idea. Mr. It is still here. 2:01:16 Awake. Switch devices. Okay, good. 2:01:19 Vickiy's Vickiy's winding down for the 2:01:21 night. 2:01:22 Perfect. Actually finishing strong on 2:01:24 numbers. Yep, it's good. Solid. I like 2:01:28 itz kind of. Sort of. All 2:01:32 right. All right. Good. Okay. Present 2:01:37 teacher. Peter. Peter's brown nosing the 2:01:39 teacher 2:01:41 again. He's going to make a turtle 2:01:44 eating an 2:01:46 apple. These are cool. All right, cool. 2:02:52 So, we'll we'll figure out something to 2:02:54 do with these tomorrow. If anyone has 2:02:55 any ideas, just put the ideas or prompts 2:02:57 or whatever you want to put into a 2:02:59 regulars and then we'll we'll sort of 2:03:00 pick this up. All 2:03:03 right. Um, cool. All right. So, 2:03:06 tomorrow's Friday. It's not a first 2:03:08 Friday. No, it's not. It's a fourth 2:03:10 Friday. So, it'll be nice to 2:03:19 have him back cuz I just feel like I'm 2:03:22 rambling. I don't have anyone paying 2:03:23 attention to what I'm doing. So, 2:03:27 um uh uh uh 2:03:30 uh I think that's it. All right, cool. 2:03:33 Peace out. YouTube, LinkedIn X. Say hi 2:03:36 to Gary Marcus in your travels. Bye.
