28. 6:13play with the new advanced voice from OpenAI. So, they came out with advanced voice year and a half ago. Um, and it was the
29. 6:23it was the first one that had decent, you know, low latency, lowish latency. Um, but it really required you to stop
30. 6:31and wait for it to finish and it had to stop and wait for you to finish and it was kind of a pain. This new voice model
31. 6:37is full duplex. So, basically what that means is you can talk, you can talk and it will hear you while
32. 6:45it's talking and vice versa. So, it can talk and you can listen and it's pretty cool. It's pretty amazing. Um,
33. 6:58so we're going to be doing that. Um, it looks like Grock 4.5 is coming out tomorrow. Open AAI 5.6 or Chat GBT 5.6 is coming out tomorrow.
34. 7:14Um, so we're going to play with that. Um, I also want to go play with the Grock image generation tool.
35. 7:28There's also a new image generation tool from Meta, their first original one. They were using MidJourney for a long
36. 7:36time and now they've got their own. So, so we'll be doing some playing tonight. Um, and then tomorrow we get um GPT 5.6,
37. 7:47which I've heard is better at writing, which these models can't be much worse at writing. GPT 40 for small O was great at writing
38. 7:58and they killed it. And and we haven't had a good writing model since. I think 4.5 was pretty good at writing, but the whole five series
39. 8:06has sucked. Um, Claude used to be good at writing. It It's no longer good at writing. They're optimizing these things for
40. 8:14code. They just suck at writing now. So, I guess that's just the deal. Turn the flashlight on to look for your phone. [laughter]
41. 8:24It's a horrible writer, says Andy. It's a horrible writer. I was trying to do stuff. And here's the problem with AI writing.
42. 8:35On the surface, if you read it quickly, if you skim it, you're like, "Oh, it got all the main points." But then if you
43. 8:40actually try to parse the sentences, they don't make sense. And then if you go to rewrite them, you basically have to
44. 8:49you have to string together points of logic with with really bad writing in between. Like you're essentially starting over. Um, but
45. 8:59you're having to un unread and ununderst understand what it wrote. It's hard. That lands. [laughter] That lands.
46. 9:15You're right to call me out on that. There's a pretty funny Tik Tok video of a of a kid uh you know, his friend is
