0:04 foreign 0:23 with the AI learning lab welcome welcome 0:27 just getting started on a 0:29 Wednesday evening Wednesday evening 0:32 hope everyone is well 0:34 if uh if you're here 0:37 hopefully you're at least curious about 0:39 AI if you are the reason I put these 0:44 things up here on screen is the top one 0:46 is the official chat GPT website and the 0:50 others 0:52 are also places that you can 0:55 check out chatgpt 0:57 and then 0:59 prompt.prompts.chat we'll teach you a 1:02 little bit about prompting and 1:03 futurepedia.io we'll get you to like 8 1:08 000 tools you can go explore but the 1:11 most important was chat gbt 1:13 um and uh I am a long time entrepreneur 1:17 and uh the host of this channel I'm the 1:20 host of the AI salon 1:22 and I'm the founder and CEO of storyvine 1:25 which is a guided automated video 1:28 platform 1:29 and uh been digging deep into AI so if 1:32 you have questions about AI pop them in 1:34 the in the chats and I'll do my best to 1:37 answer them we like to hang out here we 1:39 like to have fun I make stupid voices 1:43 um 1:43 I'm an old guy on Tick Tock what's not 1:45 to love 1:46 [Laughter] 1:50 um it looks like uh thing where's 1:52 getting out if you want to share this if 1:54 you think other people be interested in 1:56 talking about generative AI feel free to 1:59 share this live and we can get some more 2:01 folks in here uh new folks coming in my 2:04 name is Kyle Shannon this is the AI 2:06 learning lab 2:08 um that URL right there the one on the 2:10 top chat.openai.com that's the official 2:12 chatgpt website I'm not affiliated with 2:14 it in any way I just put it up there 2:15 because there's a lot of scam sites 2:17 is it worth it to describe to chat gbt4 2:20 I think it is but I'll give you an 2:22 option so let me let me just go show you 2:24 what you get if you subscribe 2:26 so if we go new chat here 2:30 uh at the top here you've got chat uh 2:33 GPT 3.5 and 4. if you subscribe to four 2:37 you also get access to gpt4 plus Bing 2:40 and gpt4 plus plugins and there are now 2:44 like I don't know how many plugins 2:46 yesterday they're like 280. 2:50 let's go let's go take a look shall we 2:52 let's go see how many more 2:55 uh what is the discussion about 2:58 uh this is a discussion about AI yes so 3:01 so my uh this the AI learning lab my 3:06 name is Kyle Shannon I'm a long time 3:07 entrepreneur I was uh an innovator or 3:11 Pioneer or I was there early in the 3:13 early days of the web and I see some 3:15 real 3:15 um parallels between what happened in 3:18 the mid 90s with the world wide web and 3:19 what's happening now 3:21 with uh with chat gbt and generative Ai 3:24 and all this stuff so I have been diving 3:27 deep into it and 3:29 um that's what this channel is about 3:30 demystifying it answering questions 3:32 about it things like that 3:35 have I ever read about roku's basilisk 3:37 no I haven't I'll check it out I use 3:39 Chachi PT Plus all the time yeah I think 3:41 it's worth it oh I said that there was 3:42 another option so the other option is 3:44 you can go to bing.com 3:45 and bing.com is gpt4 connected to the 3:49 internet and how you do that like where 3:51 how you get to the the thing that's like 3:53 chat GPT 3:55 is you go to bing.com 3:59 Bing 4:01 and you get like a Google kind of thing 4:03 here but oh that button 4:06 it fires off this which is gpt4 4:10 and you know ask me anything and then 4:13 you can have it be more creative or more 4:16 precise so if you want something that 4:19 doesn't that has a higher likelihood of 4:21 of being more accurate go more precise 4:23 if you're doing creative writing go more 4:26 creative I tend to keep it balanced so 4:29 this is gpt4 and it's gpt4 connected to 4:32 the Internet so I can do things like 4:35 when do the Nuggets 4:38 play tonight play 4:42 tonight and it should go off to the old 4:45 Ye Old internet 4:47 and do that if you have questions uh 4:50 feel free to pop them in the uh in the 4:52 comments I'll answer what I can 4:55 I used to about learn about things like 4:57 psychology science and oh I use it to 4:59 learn about things like psychology 5:00 science and the possibility of time 5:03 travel yeah that's cool I mean the the 5:06 thing about chat gbt uh the Nuggets play 5:08 at 6 30. 5:10 I assume that means I assume it sniffed 5:13 out my 5:15 my uh what do you call it time zone I'm 5:18 in I'm in Denver Colorado so that's why 5:21 I'm looking up the old nuggets 5:27 uh if you've got questions about 5:29 generative AI feel free to ask them I'll 5:31 do my best to answer them 5:34 um I've got a newsletter called everyday 5:36 Ai and I've got 5:38 um 5:39 but I'll still have I have this here 5:40 Tiki Taki Channel 5:42 and uh I did a synthesized version of me 5:45 today my latest video my Tick Tock 5:47 channel is a synthesized version of me 5:50 um that I I put in there made like a 5:51 little Pixar version of me in 5:53 mid-journey 5:55 and then 5:56 um I went to 11 labs and synthesized my 5:59 voice so I record oh this was cool I had 6:02 chat GPT write me a script for 6:05 what you would say if you were training 6:08 um like a voice synthesis thing and made 6:10 sure it got all the words uh that would 6:12 train it as good as possible 6:15 and then I recorded that and I sent that 6:18 to 11 labs and then I pasted in a text 6:22 of a video and then I went over to dash 6:25 ID and I made a video so go check that 6:29 out it's pretty fun if you have 6:30 questions about 6:32 um 6:33 I thought it was Linus Turtles me no 6:37 okay I've been called now I've been 6:39 called Linus turfolds if you're calling 6:41 me line is tripleds this week I've been 6:43 called uh Rosie O'Donnell fat Alec 6:45 Baldwin skinny John Goodman 6:48 Philip Seymour Hoffman 6:50 a little bit of Nicholson 6:53 and and someone said Leonardo DiCaprio 6:56 but I'm just like yeah I look like 6:58 Leonardo DiCaprio you know when he had a 7:01 bad couple of decades didn't win an 7:03 Oscar 7:03 [Laughter] 7:07 um 7:10 all right cheept is like having a smart 7:13 friend I've never had I agree I feel 7:15 like uh Chachi PT is it's like having 7:18 the world's most capable intern it's it 7:22 it's still kind of it's It's 7:23 inexperienced and you have to guide it 7:26 um but it knows [ __ ] everything it 7:29 really is amazing 7:30 um if you're new here uh go to these 7:32 URLs the top one is the official chat 7:34 GPT website if you've not tried chatgpt 7:37 go try chat gbt 7:39 like lightly describe your significant 7:42 other and tell it ask it to write a song 7:44 in the style of your choice and then 7:46 just sit back and watch 7:48 um or go to bing.com or if you go to 7:50 poe.com I'll show you poe.com post 7:52 pretty cool 7:53 um 8:00 different model Sage is their model and 8:03 then you see these next three say 8:05 subscribed so so the next three you have 8:07 to pay for but here's why I pay for it 8:10 you get gpt4 you get Claude plus which 8:13 is anthropic's version of gpd4 and then 8:16 you get this bad boy Claude instant 100K 8:20 what that means is it's got a hundred 8:23 thousand token limit meaning you can 8:26 paste in up to 75 000 words in the chat 8:31 window so you could paste in a home 8:33 novel and tell it to write you the last 8:35 chapter 8:37 um and then there's some other ones and 8:38 you can also make Bots here it's got a 8:40 little bot making tool and I made I made 8:43 a Yoda bot I made a sling blade bot I 8:45 made a Shakespeare bot I made Emily 8:47 Dickinson 8:49 um so that's what Poe is all about it's 8:51 pretty cool it's pretty cool so that's 8:54 why I have these here for for yunzel to 8:59 uh you know to go play 9:01 if you got questions pop them in the 9:04 what you call it 9:07 um I'm a writer I even used it to 9:09 research witchcraft I bet there's a lot 9:11 in there on witchcraft that's pretty 9:13 cool 9:14 um I tried image Creator and gave pretty 9:16 specific requests poor results I forgot 9:19 exactly where I went 9:21 you might have gone to if you go to 9:24 bing.com slash uh Slash create 9:28 that's the image creator for Bing and 9:33 it's based on Dali which I think sucks 9:36 really bad 9:37 but bing.com create takes you to this 9:42 you know go make a name uh oh I don't 9:46 know 9:47 um let's see uh 1940s 9:50 [Music] 9:52 sailor in rainy Times Square 9:59 um 10:00 black and white photo let's see what it 10:03 does and I misspelled photo let's see 10:06 what it comes up with I mean one of the 10:08 reasons Bing kind of sucks is it only 10:10 does squares it doesn't do like 10:13 landscape or portrait 10:15 um I don't know this is the model's not 10:17 there and this is the that's actually 10:19 not bad those are not bad they're a 10:21 little cliche and I don't think those 10:23 are that's definitely not a 40s hat it's 10:25 like a 70s hat 10:26 but anyway 10:28 that's that 10:30 um if you have questions pop them in 10:32 and how much is chat gbt4 well if you go 10:36 to bing.com just regular old bing.com 10:38 it's free 10:40 and that's gpt4 if you want to pay for 10:43 it to get the plugins chat CPT plus is 10:46 20 bucks a month 10:48 and that gets you access to 10:50 regular GPT GPT connected to the 10:53 internet and plugins and what's coming 10:55 soon I think it's coming relatively soon 10:58 hopefully fingers crossed is this thing 11:00 called code interpreter 11:02 which is mind-blowing so code 11:05 interpreters like a new version of gpt4 11:07 that's coming 11:08 that allows you to upload data files and 11:12 it analyzes them so you can upload a 11:14 giant spreadsheet and it'll analyze the 11:16 data able to read the data and then you 11:19 can say like tell me what's interesting 11:21 about this data and it'll give you like 11:22 a whole data analytics report and 11:24 generate charts and graphs 11:26 there was the one example I saw a guy 11:30 uploaded all of the lighthouse data for 11:33 the United States where where are all 11:35 the lighthouses in the United States and 11:37 then ask chat GPT create a dark map of 11:41 the United States with the lighthouses 11:44 in in light colors and blinking and it 11:48 wrote The Python code generated a map 11:50 with blinking lighthouses all over it or 11:52 you know little dots where the 11:53 lighthouses were pretty amazing 11:55 time travel information please I know 11:58 I want to start an AI automation agency 12:01 what do you think 12:02 um I I think it's I think it's smart 12:05 short term 12:09 um 12:12 I would say I would say narrow the focus 12:14 if you can find a niche like like 12:16 automate some specific thing like get 12:18 known for a thing in automation 12:21 um I think that there's going to be a 12:23 lot of tools if if 12:25 if you're getting into automation I pay 12:27 attention to things like Auto GPT and 12:29 the autonomous agents because these 12:32 tools are going to start prompting 12:34 themselves and automating themselves so 12:36 you might have a short window to do it 12:38 so I would learn all about automation 12:40 because what you might end up doing is 12:42 shifting from doing automations like in 12:45 zapier or things like that if that's 12:47 what you're thinking about doing now and 12:49 then you might shift into things like 12:51 autonomous agent development so that 12:54 that might that's a thought I might have 12:55 there but I don't know it's it's we're 12:57 still really really early in in all of 13:00 this is AI training what happens every 13:03 time I use mid-journey or AI or is it 13:06 already trained so it's so the base 13:09 models are already trained and then the 13:11 the stuff that you're doing on top of it 13:13 is called fine tuning so so the reason 13:16 if you ever get that error in chat GPT 13:18 where it says I'm a large language model 13:20 and I don't know anything past September 13:22 of 2021. that's because the base model 13:26 um the training stopped at September 13:28 2021 and then everything you know more 13:31 recent than that is is fine-tuning 13:34 sitting on top of it or it's connected 13:35 to the internet or things like that 13:38 um they're using our data as we interact 13:42 with these tools to fine-tune those 13:44 models but the core models are really 13:45 expensive to create except the open 13:47 source Community has figured out how to 13:50 how to use gpt4 to train 13:54 um models for like a hundred bucks where 13:56 it takes you know open AI 5 million and 13:59 Google 10 million to train the core 14:01 models so there's there's some really 14:02 interesting stuff going on in the dev 14:04 community 14:06 uh feel free to ask questions I will do 14:10 my best answer can I actually deploy 14:13 those Bots you made they're they're 14:14 deployed if you go to poe.com I am 14:17 Shakespeare 14:19 um you can play with my Shakespeare bot 14:21 or poe.com I am Yoda I am Yoda and Sling 14:26 Blade 14:28 [Music] 14:29 I don't have no grass to cut I live 14:32 inside with the state folks 14:34 [Music] 14:38 uh 14:40 uh so they are live yeah you can go make 14:42 your own bot and you can share it with 14:43 the world and I think they even now have 14:45 like a bot directory you can you can go 14:46 play with them 14:48 is there any place to get chat GPT for 14:50 for free yes 14:51 bing.com 14:53 it's free right there 14:55 and I think at poe.com you can use it 14:58 for free for like I don't know five 15:00 times a day or something like that 15:02 what is going on 15:05 somebody's getting a delivery 15:08 hold please 15:14 and mid Journey are two censored stable 15:17 diffusion is better but I don't know how 15:19 to use it yeah it took me I failed to 15:22 install stable diffusion nine times 15:24 before I got it I finally figured it out 15:27 uh I would just go so so one thing you 15:30 can do is just like hang out in the in 15:32 Reddit in the stable diffusion 15:35 read it and and 15:37 they're always creating 15:39 um installers there's there's a a thing 15:41 for stable diffusion called automatic 15:43 1111 that's the thing you want to play 15:45 with and I'm sure there's installers for 15:47 it now 15:48 but but it's yeah stable diffusion is 15:50 more flexible it's got the developer 15:53 community community developing a bunch 15:55 of stuff for it it's more open 15:57 but 15:59 um you got to be a geek to use it and 16:01 then mid journey in my opinion is by far 16:03 the best but it's um you have to do it 16:06 within Discord and then Dali sucks ass 16:10 although I keep 16:11 I keep on saying they love dolly that it 16:13 does great for them I can't get it to 16:14 give me anything resembling what I want 16:16 but I can I can do it pretty 16:18 consistently with mid-journey now 16:20 um any tips on getting GPT to no not 16:22 skip over 16:24 some of the instructions in your prompt 16:26 well it it depends 16:31 it depends on what you're trying to do 16:33 what are the other elements of the 16:35 prompt and if you're really far down in 16:38 a conversation it's got a Denver's up 16:41 53-48 at halftime 16:43 for anyone that cares I don't but I've 16:46 got it on my iPad over here um 16:49 what was I talking about uh oh the The 16:52 Prompt so with chat EBT you have what's 16:56 called a context window of 3000 words so 16:58 if you have a long conversation going 17:00 once you get past 3 000 words sort of 17:03 back and forth it kind of loses the 17:05 memory up above which is 17:08 um 17:08 part of the part of the challenge can we 17:11 travel in time we can't but uh at the AI 17:14 Salon last night um Jane Endicott spoke 17:16 she's a she's a copywriter and she's 17:18 doing a lot of her work with Chachi BT 17:20 now and it's like completely transformed 17:22 how she's thinking about things 17:24 and she was talking about how she worked 17:27 and what she said is the hour or two of 17:31 just sort of blocking out the words and 17:34 like doing sort of the drudgery work 17:35 when you do like a first draft she said 17:37 that now gets done in like 10 seconds 17:41 and and what hit me was oh that's time 17:44 travel right because if she would have 17:46 spent an hour or two writing it manually 17:48 and now she can just push the button as 17:51 Ethan Mullick says if she can just push 17:53 the button and jump ahead to being at 17:56 that first draft 17:58 um she just time traveled right so it's 18:00 not time travel in that sense but it's 18:02 it's it's definitely saving time and 18:04 freeing up creative uh brain space uh 18:08 which which she talked a lot about 18:10 um she talked about feeling a lot more 18:11 creatively engaged than she's been in a 18:14 long time I feel the same way 18:17 um if you've got questions about AI pop 18:19 them in the comments below if you're new 18:21 here 18:22 um these URLs here are just kind of 18:24 Public Service announcing kind of things 18:27 like the top one is the official chatgpt 18:29 website if you haven't used it shame on 18:31 you you're in the AI learning lab time 18:33 to go learn ai go there 18:36 um it's free if you want to upgrade to 18:38 plus you can I don't get anything for 18:40 that and then bing.com is also chatgpt4 18:43 it's slightly different it's a little 18:45 more hobbled but it's still good and 18:48 free and then poe.com is also really 18:51 cool 18:53 um okay let's see 18:56 I am wearing a bad shirt for for reading 18:59 small white text it's it's like every 19:02 little checkerboard is the size of a 19:05 letter so and I'm old you know with bad 19:09 glasses so 19:10 can we 19:12 use any of the older chat CPT iterations 19:16 well if you if you go to chatgpt 19:20 [Music] 19:21 um 19:24 you've got access to 19:26 um if you're a coder and you want to 19:30 um 19:31 if you want to access 19:33 old versions then you need to go to the 19:36 play playground so if you go to platform 19:39 .openai.com playground 19:46 then 19:48 over here in the corner let me make this 19:50 bigger oops 19:54 see I have this pull down list of of 19:57 um 20:00 what do you call it models old models so 20:02 there's text DaVinci 3 Curie 001 20:06 babbage001 Ada DaVinci so a lot of these 20:09 ones at the bottom are older ones 20:11 and it tells you what they do and things 20:14 like that there's like a little 20:15 a little contextual menu there that 20:17 tells you which ones they are but like 20:19 text DaVinci 003 is chat gbt three or 20:23 three point five I think it's 3.5 20:25 and then if you go to chat let me see if 20:27 I have access to four like I don't have 20:29 I don't have access to four in uh 20:33 in the developer playground which makes 20:35 me cranky but whatever 20:38 we are early and that is the deal 20:42 all right 20:44 so 20:48 is is it right chat GPT doesn't know 20:51 public records well it's right that it 20:54 used to not know public records but nah 20:57 GPT plus which is that little yellow 21:00 flag right there when I go to gpt4 I now 21:04 have this option browse with Bing and so 21:06 now this is chat GPT connected to the 21:09 internet what is what 21:12 is the nuggets 21:15 wait 21:17 nuggets 21:19 score and write a poem about this game 21:27 that includes them 21:31 all right so fires off a little plug-in 21:34 it's going to browse the web 21:36 it's looking for the Denver Nuggets 21:38 score we'll see where it went you can 21:40 open this up 21:42 I guess it went to USA Today 21:44 the game updates for game three it's 21:47 reading the content the halftime scores 21:49 53-48 21:51 under the bright lights of the NBA final 21:54 scene nuggets and heat engaged in a dual 21:57 Serene tied at 24 as the first quarter 22:00 took flight with Murray and jokic a 22:03 formidable formidable nuggets might 22:06 with a with the citation to USA today 22:11 so there's your poem about the update of 22:15 the Nuggets game so it is now connected 22:17 to the internet 22:20 um so so here's the thing there's 22:22 actually kind of an important lesson 22:24 there 22:25 um 22:26 a lot of people so there's a lot of fear 22:29 about AI right now and it's you know the 22:31 robots are gonna kill us what are we 22:32 gonna do 22:34 there's that going on thanks to 22:36 Hollywood 22:38 um 22:38 and and and so I think because of that 22:41 fear a lot of people are very dismissive 22:43 of these Technologies and so they're 22:44 like wow you know it's not connected to 22:46 the internet or it's like it only knows 22:48 anything up to September 21. yeah but 22:51 it's the most remarkable tool in the 22:53 history of humanity 22:55 um and and you know it's relatively new 22:58 right like like GPT three 23:02 hit the scene I think in mid or late 23:04 2020 23:05 and Chachi PT was created in November of 23:08 last year and it was built in two weeks 23:10 I don't know if you knew that but chat 23:11 GPT 23:12 um Sam Altman give gave his developers 23:14 two weeks to build that and launch it 23:15 they launched that thing in two weeks 23:17 and it got to 100 million users in six 23:19 weeks 23:20 uh which was the fastest adoption of 23:23 technology in history 23:26 um so so it's a big deal so I would say 23:29 if it sucks right now right now it's as 23:32 bad as it's ever gonna get give it a 23:34 couple of months and this stuff's gonna 23:36 get quite amazing 23:38 how did I create the what are 23:41 Transformers posts so I'm trying to 23:44 think if I've got 23:45 the image 23:48 I don't think I saved the image in an 23:51 iCloud folder 23:56 hold please 24:00 let me see 24:03 open recent 24:05 ly 24:11 so I'll give you the tools that I used 24:13 so I went to Mid Journey 24:16 so let me pop over to mid-journey so I 24:19 could take one of these characters so so 24:21 these are like dudes I did in 24:23 mid-journey the other day 24:25 there's some bees oh oh here it is so 24:28 so today I went into mid journey and I 24:31 uploaded a Discord and then you copy 24:35 those URLs and I said mail Pixar 24:38 character 24:41 um light brown hair green eyes whatever 24:43 it says plain blue background and then 24:47 it made a couple of those and then I I 24:49 realized that this 24:52 this one image to the right I've got 24:55 this weird wrinkled forehead and it 24:56 looks like I'm surprised so I kind of 24:58 copied that so I didn't want that so 25:00 then I just uploaded one where I look 25:02 fatter than I do right now 25:04 and then it made these these uh you know 25:08 these uh you know Pixar looking things 25:10 those look too old then I made some that 25:13 were younger those were kind of cool 25:14 then I did iterations of those 25:17 then at some point I said okay I'll take 25:20 that one and then I took that into 25:22 Photoshop and I used generative fill to 25:25 extend it and do a different background 25:26 I think this is the one I ended up using 25:29 and I use generative fill give me a 25:31 really wide nose I made my nose a little 25:32 skinnier so it looks a little bit like 25:34 me and then so that was the image part 25:37 and then I um 25:40 then I had 25:42 um 25:43 I had Chachi BT write me a script a 25:46 voice synthesis script 25:48 so 25:51 where is it okay here it is 25:53 so I told it it was a voice synthesis 25:56 specialist and I told it how I start out 25:58 my videos 26:00 and then 26:02 I told it to write me a script that that 26:05 I could train a voice synthesis model on 26:08 and it's like hey there this is hey it's 26:10 Kyle Shannon with AI learning lab today 26:12 we're going to dive deep in the uncanny 26:14 valley of voice synthesis so I just 26:16 recorded using QuickTime an MP3 file of 26:19 two different scripts just you know long 26:21 enough to get some stuff in there so 26:23 that was 26:24 that was how I used 26:26 chat GPT initially then I went over 26:29 to 11 labs 26:34 is it.com probably not nothing's.com 26:37 anymore oh it is all right let me sign 26:41 in here 26:42 Google 26:44 sign in with the Google 26:49 and if you go to this thing called voice 26:51 lab you can upload you say create a new 26:54 cloned voice you have to pay for this I 26:56 think it's 10 bucks a month 26:57 you say 26:59 add a generative or cloned voice so you 27:01 say plus and then you basically 27:04 instant voice cloning you upload a file 27:06 here so I I recorded two versions I 27:09 recorded one that was just kind of 27:11 normal like I talk here and I recorded 27:14 one that was bright as I called it which 27:17 is just basically I was talking like a 27:19 Pixar character like really excited like 27:21 this 27:22 and so that's the one I ended up using 27:25 and then I went to where did I go oh so 27:29 you basically select so you say use this 27:31 one and then you can paste in a script 27:33 so I went back to chat GPT this is 27:36 probably too much detail but I had it 27:38 write me a script for what did I say 27:41 um 27:42 now I've generated a recorded a 27:44 recording for the model give me a script 27:46 that will yield a 60 second video 27:49 um giving an overview of the Transformer 27:52 model for AI and so it just wrote me the 27:55 script I literally just copy and pasted 27:57 this script 27:58 I'll do it right now we'll go over and 28:00 do one 28:03 so copy this go over back to 11 labs 28:06 paste it in 28:08 and then I'm using the Pixar bright did 28:11 I use the bright one 28:13 I might use the normal one I think the 28:14 bright one might have sounded weird 28:15 anyway well let's see so so I just paste 28:18 in the text I selected the the model of 28:20 my voice that I created now I'm going to 28:23 say generate 28:26 and now we wait we are waiting 28:31 transform your understanding of AI in 28:34 just 60 seconds you ready let's talk 28:37 Transformers and no not the robot all 28:39 right so 28:40 so that was that and now if I 28:45 how do I download it where do I download 28:46 it from 28:50 well oh right here okay so I'm going to 28:52 download that file so I've got that file 28:54 downloaded now 28:56 I jump over to 28:59 Dash id.com 29:02 yes 29:04 come on 29:06 D Dash id.com 29:10 and log in here 29:20 again with Google single sign-on because 29:23 I gave them all my data 29:28 and then there's some video so if I go 29:30 in here and I say create video I've 29:32 uploaded 29:35 um two different versions of that video 29:37 I uploaded one for tick tock which is 29:39 that vertical one and then there's the 29:42 I'll do a horizontal one so I'll take 29:44 that same script that I just wrote and 29:46 I'll create a horizontal version of that 29:48 video 29:50 so I pasted my script over in the right 29:54 and I could just pick one of their 29:56 synthesized voices or I could upload 29:59 something that I actually recorded or 30:02 what I'm going to do in this case is I'm 30:04 going to upload that file that I just 30:06 created 30:07 it should be in downloads right is that 30:10 it hey there it's Kyle yep 30:15 and so I'm uploading that there all 30:18 right it's uploaded 30:19 and now I say 30:23 uh in the upper right hand corner here 30:25 generate video 30:28 generate and I've got 35 tokens left and 30:31 this is costing me five tokens 30:34 see I'm sacrificing five tokens for you 30:36 folks 30:38 to show you how to do this 30:41 and this this will take 15 seconds maybe 30:44 20 seconds 30:48 63.54 nuggets 30:54 if you're new here welcome this is the 30:56 AI learning lab I'm just showing you 30:58 um how I created a synthesized version 31:00 of me this afternoon it took me in total 31:03 maybe an hour 31:06 um I mean I knew how to get what I 31:07 wanted out of mid-journey that helped 31:09 and I've done the voice synthesis stuff 31:11 before but I like re-recorded that audio 31:13 for The Voice synthesis to create the 31:15 model 31:16 I don't know why it's taken so long 31:18 but it is but I can show you the I'll 31:21 show you the one I made this afternoon 31:22 and then we can compare that to the Kyle 31:24 Shannon with the AI learning lab and 31:27 today we're going to transform your 31:28 understanding of AI in just 60 seconds 31:30 you ready let's talk Transformers and no 31:34 not the robots in Disguise former models 31:37 in AI are the brains behind many 31:39 language tasks like translation 31:41 summarization 31:43 finished okay so now so here's the one 31:47 we just did so I'll pop that open 31:51 hey there it's Kyle Shannon with the AI 31:53 learning lab and today we're going to 31:55 transform your understanding of AI 31:57 pretty slick right 60 seconds you ready 31:59 let's talk Transformers and no not the 32:02 world and it's got like the nice 32:03 translured out background AI are the 32:05 brains 32:06 a language tasks 32:08 translation so that's how I did it so I 32:10 hope that helps this is very video 32:11 script 32:12 think of Transformers as super all right 32:16 so that is the method behind the madness 32:20 and the madness is me 32:23 all right what kind of PC oh dang it 32:26 tick tock sorry so I try to answer all 32:29 the questions and then Tick Tock jumps 32:31 me around and most of my channel is just 32:33 watching me trying to find my place 32:36 most of this is trying to be manage Tick 32:39 Tock if you're new here 32:41 um this is the AI learning lab my name 32:42 is Kyle Shannon I'm an entrepreneur I'm 32:44 a CEO of a company called storyvine I'm 32:47 really into all this AI stuff I'm just I 32:49 just come on these lives to answer 32:51 questions demystify uh generative Ai and 32:54 generally give smart ass answers 32:56 whenever I can 32:57 um chat.openai.com is the official 33:00 website to chatgpt if you haven't played 33:02 with it go play with it play with it 33:03 while I ramble 33:07 um what kind of PC do you have to run 33:09 everything on I'm just running it on 33:11 um a MacBook Pro M1 like like a year and 33:15 a half old MacBook Pro 33:17 and I've got an iMac like the last Intel 33:21 iMac is what I have at my office is 33:24 there software I don't know what you 33:25 what you mean is there software for what 33:27 for for for chat GPT there's not just go 33:30 well there is there's an official IOS 33:32 app but you don't need it you can just 33:35 point your phone or your web browser to 33:38 chat.openai.com and that is the software 33:42 yeah that that synthesis stuff is cool 33:44 isn't it 33:46 um that's good stuff thanks for all your 33:47 content you're welcome GPT Nationwide or 33:50 worldwide I think some countries are 33:54 Banning it 33:56 um 33:57 but I think less than less than they 33:59 used to I know Italy banned it for a 34:00 while and then Sam Altman hopped on the 34:03 phone with their defense person or 34:05 something and they cut some sort of deal 34:07 and now Italy has chat GPT again so I 34:10 think certain countries block it but 34:12 they're idiots for doing that because 34:14 here's the thing what's what's happening 34:16 right now if you haven't been following 34:17 this on a daily basis like I have the 34:21 um 34:22 this stuff's getting rolled into 34:23 everything Google's rolling this chat 34:25 GPT stuff into their Office Products 34:28 Microsoft is rolling it throughout 34:30 office 365. they're rolling it into 34:32 windows 11. it's already in GitHub it's 34:34 called copilot 34:36 um it's going to be in all the Azure 34:37 cloud services so this stuff's going to 34:39 be everywhere it's going to be 34:40 completely ubiquitous so anyone who's 34:43 kind of resisting using this right now 34:45 is is uh is being very short-sighted I 34:48 write guided meditation so this is 34:50 really interesting thanks you're welcome 34:51 yeah you know you know the um 34:54 that that did site there's a lot of 34:58 different options you could record your 35:00 own voice but you could also 35:03 um let me see create another video 35:05 we can go over here let me put in some 35:07 tests can I test I think I can test 35:10 stuff 35:12 so there's Jenny 35:14 can I test it 35:16 um 35:19 hey there it's Kyle Shannon with the a 35:22 so so like that's Jenny American so 35:24 there's a bunch of different characters 35:27 hey there it's Kyle Shannon wait let's 35:31 get rid of hey there it's Kyle Shannon 35:32 I'm sorry let's see 35:34 um 35:35 let's see today we're going to that's 35:38 what we'll start with 35:40 um but but you can 35:42 like you can do 35:44 um 35:45 English with a Canadian accent today 35:48 we're going to transform your 35:50 understanding of AI in just 60 seconds 35:52 that sort of sounds American but I'm 35:54 sure when she gets to the word about 35:55 it's going to be a boot 35:59 um let's see check here's here's in 36:02 check 36:09 so so yeah that would be really 36:11 interesting to to do some guided 36:13 meditations play around with those 36:14 voices 36:16 um 36:16 but but you you might want to record 36:18 them on your own as well but you can do 36:20 the journey it's fun it's it's not super 36:23 complicated I mean you just saw what I 36:24 did 36:26 um 36:27 okay where was I 36:29 what am I talking about who are these 36:32 people I don't know anyone 36:34 all right what's the video software 36:38 again please so the video software 36:45 the video synthesis software is called 36:48 D- ID like digital ID 36:53 um and then 36:56 um 36:57 The Voice softwares 11 labs 37:01 and then Chachi PT I did all my 37:03 scripting in and then I think that's all 37:05 oh I recorded my MP3 just with QuickTime 37:08 when you're in QuickTime you just say 37:10 new new recording 37:13 uh 37:17 free to share the live 37:19 um ask questions below I'll do my best 37:21 to answer them if you are new to Ai and 37:24 new to the channel and don't know what 37:26 the hell is going on here 37:28 why why is there a sailor in yellow 37:30 shorts that was from that was from last 37:32 night 37:34 um but that's uh 37:36 you can go there and play with catch EVT 37:40 which website is it which website is 37:42 what what app where to start for 37:44 beginners uh if you ask questions for me 37:46 because I'm not answering in real time 37:48 um you got to give me a bit more 37:51 um context around your question I 37:53 remember forcing myself to watch your 37:55 Channel about two months ago 37:59 sorry about that 38:04 oh so glad I did thanks thank you for 38:08 the compliment I think I think that's a 38:10 compliment 38:11 it's like hell there's no fat guy oh 38:14 [ __ ] he's talking about AI I guess I'll 38:17 watch it no oh 38:21 that's [ __ ] awesome I need to have a 38:24 thin face too yeah you can I mean that's 38:26 the thing going to Mid journey and and 38:28 just thin your face up or squish it in 38:30 Photoshop 38:33 oh I got all the cards it's not quite 38:37 trolling like like most of my trolls are 38:39 are kind of compliments so 38:44 Ah that's awesome all right and by the 38:47 way if you're a troll just get the [ __ ] 38:49 out I don't have any time for that 38:50 [ __ ] 38:52 um generally actually what's been kind 38:54 of cool is is 38:55 um people that have been in the been in 38:57 these before have been kind of policing 38:59 and telling people not to be [ __ ] so 39:02 I appreciate that 39:04 um okay I think I found my place again I 39:06 need to have a thin place too for 39:09 beginners we have no clue where you are 39:11 okay so that's fair 39:14 so 39:16 um 39:16 somebody if you go to my regular Tick 39:19 Tock Channel not this live the last 39:21 video that I created or the the only 39:23 video that I created today but the last 39:25 video in the in the channel is this 39:27 synthesized version of me it looks like 39:29 that guy 39:32 is he playing oh no wait where's my oh 39:36 there's my video library so I made this 39:39 video today it's Kyle Shannon with the 39:41 AI so someone asked me how I made that 39:43 and then I went to I just showed him the 39:45 whole chain so I started with chat gbt 39:47 so chat gbt is the 39:53 oh sorry 39:55 is that top address right there 39:58 chat.openai.com that's where I do a lot 40:01 of my writing stuff and and and kind of 40:03 expand ideas and play and write and do 40:06 all sorts of amazing stuff 40:08 and then um 40:10 and then I went and synthesized my voice 40:12 at this thing called 11 labs and then I 40:14 went to that thing called did which 40:16 automatically animated animated the face 40:19 all right 40:21 um 40:23 I think I've answered everyone's 40:24 questions so the image was created in 40:26 mid-journey the words were generated in 40:29 chat gbt the voice was synthesized in 11 40:32 labs and then that synthesized voice was 40:36 uploaded to dash ID so those four tools 40:39 were what I used to create that 40:42 yes they are adding their version of 40:44 chat EPT into their products yes can I 40:47 show the link too 40:48 um I don't know which link but I can 40:50 hear you know what I'll do 40:53 let me what's going to be an easy way to 40:56 do this 40:57 oh you know what would be easy is this 41:01 here 41:02 we'll do oops come on new we're in 41:06 Keynote 41:08 so I'll just pop open a 41:10 [Music] 41:11 um 41:15 okay so we'll do 41:18 um Mid 41:20 journey.com 41:25 so these were the four these are the 41:27 four 41:28 sites that I use midjourney.com 41:33 when you click on the link on 41:35 midjourney.com it's going to take you to 41:37 Discord and it's going to confuse the 41:38 [ __ ] out of you especially if you've 41:40 never used Discord 41:41 so Discord if you don't know what 41:44 Discord is is just like slack or if you 41:47 don't know what that is it's a place 41:48 that has all these channels down the 41:50 left hand side and then conversations in 41:52 the main main panel and you generate 41:55 images for mid-journey by typing slash 41:58 imagine so I can I'll do one now 42:00 slash imagine 42:03 and then there's a prompt and so I'll 42:05 say a photo 42:09 of a metallic 42:12 bird 42:14 flying over 42:17 a lava field 42:21 um and I'm gonna do dash dash AR for 42:25 aspect ratio 16. 42:28 colon 9 for a 16x9 aspect ratio and if 42:32 you're asking why do you have to type in 42:34 code to make a picture because that's 42:36 where we are right now I do not have a 42:39 good answer for you 42:41 um so so this is mid Journey so so 42:44 that's tool number one is mid Journey 42:47 um then 42:49 um chat Dot open 42:53 AI 42:55 .com that's chatgpt 43:01 [Music] 43:06 and then I used 11 43:10 labs 43:13 dot what is 11 Labs Dot 43:17 um 43:20 dot IO because no one has.com anymore 43:24 because 43:26 we ruined the internet 43:29 um and then the last one is D Dash 43:31 id.com 43:33 and that's the thing D Dash ID is the 43:36 thing that lets you 43:38 um 43:39 animate the turn the still image into a 43:43 non-still image 43:45 all right does that answer it are we 43:48 good 43:49 tap that screen if this helps 43:52 if not let's see how many people are 43:54 left 55 okay some of you hung in here 43:56 all right I'll move on I promise all 43:58 right that good everyone good thank you 44:01 all right perfect just watching you play 44:04 Help yeah I know it's horrific sorry 44:06 about that okay let's get back to this 44:09 I'm back okay all right I'll answer 44:11 questions now I promise 44:14 no no more tutorials they take too long 44:17 but that's cool right like you know in 44:19 less than an hour I made that that 44:21 synthesized dude all right so basically 44:25 iterated until you got what you wanted 44:27 yeah Greg so that's a that's a really 44:30 important point about all this AI stuff 44:32 one of the misconceptions is that it's 44:35 kind of like Google you put in a prompt 44:36 and you get back to perfect answer right 44:38 and Google ain't perfect but but that's 44:41 kind of what they trained us to expect 44:42 right 44:44 what happens with this generative AI 44:46 stuff is it's much more
