5. 0:59prompt.prompts.chat we'll teach you a little bit about prompting and futurepedia.io we'll get you to like 8
6. 1:07000 tools you can go explore but the most important was chat gbt um and uh I am a long time entrepreneur
7. 1:16and uh the host of this channel I'm the host of the AI salon and I'm the founder and CEO of storyvine which is a guided automated video
8. 1:28platform and uh been digging deep into AI so if you have questions about AI pop them in the in the chats and I'll do my best to

14. 2:17is it worth it to describe to chat gbt4 I think it is but I'll give you an option so let me let me just go show you
15. 2:23what you get if you subscribe so if we go new chat here uh at the top here you've got chat uh GPT 3.5 and 4. if you subscribe to four
16. 2:37you also get access to gpt4 plus Bing and gpt4 plus plugins and there are now like I don't know how many plugins yesterday they're like 280.
17. 2:49let's go let's go take a look shall we let's go see how many more uh what is the discussion about uh this is a discussion about AI yes so
18. 3:01so my uh this the AI learning lab my name is Kyle Shannon I'm a long time entrepreneur I was uh an innovator or
19. 3:10Pioneer or I was there early in the early days of the web and I see some real um parallels between what happened in
20. 3:17the mid 90s with the world wide web and what's happening now with uh with chat gbt and generative Ai
21. 3:24and all this stuff so I have been diving deep into it and um that's what this channel is about demystifying it answering questions
22. 3:32about it things like that have I ever read about roku's basilisk no I haven't I'll check it out I use
23. 3:38Chachi PT Plus all the time yeah I think it's worth it oh I said that there was another option so the other option is you can go to bing.com
24. 3:45and bing.com is gpt4 connected to the internet and how you do that like where how you get to the the thing that's like chat GPT
25. 3:55is you go to bing.com Bing and you get like a Google kind of thing here but oh that button it fires off this which is gpt4
26. 4:10and you know ask me anything and then you can have it be more creative or more precise so if you want something that
27. 4:18doesn't that has a higher likelihood of of being more accurate go more precise if you're doing creative writing go more
28. 4:26creative I tend to keep it balanced so this is gpt4 and it's gpt4 connected to the Internet so I can do things like when do the Nuggets
29. 4:38play tonight play tonight and it should go off to the old Ye Old internet and do that if you have questions uh
30. 4:49feel free to pop them in the uh in the comments I'll answer what I can I used to about learn about things like
31. 4:56psychology science and oh I use it to learn about things like psychology science and the possibility of time
32. 5:02travel yeah that's cool I mean the the thing about chat gbt uh the Nuggets play at 6 30. I assume that means I assume it sniffed out my
33. 5:14my uh what do you call it time zone I'm in I'm in Denver Colorado so that's why I'm looking up the old nuggets

36. 5:45today my latest video my Tick Tock channel is a synthesized version of me um that I I put in there made like a little Pixar version of me in
37. 5:53mid-journey and then um I went to 11 labs and synthesized my voice so I record oh this was cool I had chat GPT write me a script for
38. 6:04what you would say if you were training um like a voice synthesis thing and made sure it got all the words uh that would
39. 6:12train it as good as possible and then I recorded that and I sent that to 11 labs and then I pasted in a text
40. 6:21of a video and then I went over to dash ID and I made a video so go check that out it's pretty fun if you have questions about um
41. 6:33I thought it was Linus Turtles me no okay I've been called now I've been called Linus turfolds if you're calling
42. 6:40me line is tripleds this week I've been called uh Rosie O'Donnell fat Alec Baldwin skinny John Goodman Philip Seymour Hoffman
43. 6:50a little bit of Nicholson and and someone said Leonardo DiCaprio but I'm just like yeah I look like Leonardo DiCaprio you know when he had a
44. 7:00bad couple of decades didn't win an Oscar [Laughter] um all right cheept is like having a smart friend I've never had I agree I feel
45. 7:15like uh Chachi PT is it's like having the world's most capable intern it's it it's still kind of it's It's
46. 7:23inexperienced and you have to guide it um but it knows [ __ ] everything it really is amazing um if you're new here uh go to these
47. 7:32URLs the top one is the official chat GPT website if you've not tried chatgpt go try chat gbt like lightly describe your significant
48. 7:42other and tell it ask it to write a song in the style of your choice and then just sit back and watch um or go to bing.com or if you go to
49. 7:49poe.com I'll show you poe.com post pretty cool um different model Sage is their model and then you see these next three say
50. 8:04subscribed so so the next three you have to pay for but here's why I pay for it you get gpt4 you get Claude plus which
51. 8:13is anthropic's version of gpd4 and then you get this bad boy Claude instant 100K what that means is it's got a hundred
52. 8:22thousand token limit meaning you can paste in up to 75 000 words in the chat window so you could paste in a home
53. 8:32novel and tell it to write you the last chapter um and then there's some other ones and you can also make Bots here it's got a
54. 8:40little bot making tool and I made I made a Yoda bot I made a sling blade bot I made a Shakespeare bot I made Emily Dickinson
55. 8:48um so that's what Poe is all about it's pretty cool it's pretty cool so that's why I have these here for for yunzel to
56. 8:58uh you know to go play if you got questions pop them in the what you call it um I'm a writer I even used it to
57. 9:08research witchcraft I bet there's a lot in there on witchcraft that's pretty cool um I tried image Creator and gave pretty
58. 9:16specific requests poor results I forgot exactly where I went you might have gone to if you go to bing.com slash uh Slash create
59. 9:28that's the image creator for Bing and it's based on Dali which I think sucks really bad but bing.com create takes you to this
60. 9:41you know go make a name uh oh I don't know um let's see uh 1940s [Music] sailor in rainy Times Square
61. 9:58um black and white photo let's see what it does and I misspelled photo let's see what it comes up with I mean one of the
62. 10:07reasons Bing kind of sucks is it only does squares it doesn't do like landscape or portrait um I don't know this is the model's not
63. 10:16there and this is the that's actually not bad those are not bad they're a little cliche and I don't think those
64. 10:23are that's definitely not a 40s hat it's like a 70s hat but anyway that's that um if you have questions pop them in
65. 10:32and how much is chat gbt4 well if you go to bing.com just regular old bing.com it's free and that's gpt4 if you want to pay for
66. 10:42it to get the plugins chat CPT plus is 20 bucks a month and that gets you access to regular GPT GPT connected to the
67. 10:52internet and plugins and what's coming soon I think it's coming relatively soon hopefully fingers crossed is this thing
68. 11:00called code interpreter which is mind-blowing so code interpreters like a new version of gpt4 that's coming
69. 11:08that allows you to upload data files and it analyzes them so you can upload a giant spreadsheet and it'll analyze the
70. 11:16data able to read the data and then you can say like tell me what's interesting about this data and it'll give you like
71. 11:22a whole data analytics report and generate charts and graphs there was the one example I saw a guy uploaded all of the lighthouse data for
72. 11:33the United States where where are all the lighthouses in the United States and then ask chat GPT create a dark map of
73. 11:41the United States with the lighthouses in in light colors and blinking and it wrote The Python code generated a map
74. 11:49with blinking lighthouses all over it or you know little dots where the lighthouses were pretty amazing
75. 11:54time travel information please I know I want to start an AI automation agency what do you think um I I think it's I think it's smart
76. 12:05short term um I would say I would say narrow the focus if you can find a niche like like automate some specific thing like get
77. 12:18known for a thing in automation um I think that there's going to be a lot of tools if if if you're getting into automation I pay
78. 12:26attention to things like Auto GPT and the autonomous agents because these tools are going to start prompting
79. 12:33themselves and automating themselves so you might have a short window to do it so I would learn all about automation
80. 12:40because what you might end up doing is shifting from doing automations like in zapier or things like that if that's
81. 12:46what you're thinking about doing now and then you might shift into things like autonomous agent development so that
82. 12:53that might that's a thought I might have there but I don't know it's it's we're still really really early in in all of
83. 12:59this is AI training what happens every time I use mid-journey or AI or is it already trained so it's so the base
84. 13:08models are already trained and then the the stuff that you're doing on top of it is called fine tuning so so the reason
85. 13:15if you ever get that error in chat GPT where it says I'm a large language model and I don't know anything past September
86. 13:21of 2021. that's because the base model um the training stopped at September 2021 and then everything you know more
87. 13:31recent than that is is fine-tuning sitting on top of it or it's connected to the internet or things like that
88. 13:37um they're using our data as we interact with these tools to fine-tune those models but the core models are really
89. 13:45expensive to create except the open source Community has figured out how to how to use gpt4 to train
90. 13:53um models for like a hundred bucks where it takes you know open AI 5 million and Google 10 million to train the core
91. 14:00models so there's there's some really interesting stuff going on in the dev community uh feel free to ask questions I will do
92. 14:09my best answer can I actually deploy those Bots you made they're they're deployed if you go to poe.com I am Shakespeare
93. 14:19um you can play with my Shakespeare bot or poe.com I am Yoda I am Yoda and Sling Blade [Music] I don't have no grass to cut I live
94. 14:31inside with the state folks [Music] uh uh so they are live yeah you can go make your own bot and you can share it with
95. 14:43the world and I think they even now have like a bot directory you can you can go play with them is there any place to get chat GPT for
96. 14:50for free yes bing.com it's free right there and I think at poe.com you can use it for free for like I don't know five
97. 14:59times a day or something like that what is going on somebody's getting a delivery hold please
98. 15:14and mid Journey are two censored stable diffusion is better but I don't know how to use it yeah it took me I failed to
99. 15:22install stable diffusion nine times before I got it I finally figured it out uh I would just go so so one thing you
100. 15:29can do is just like hang out in the in Reddit in the stable diffusion read it and and they're always creating
101. 15:38um installers there's there's a a thing for stable diffusion called automatic 1111 that's the thing you want to play
102. 15:44with and I'm sure there's installers for it now but but it's yeah stable diffusion is more flexible it's got the developer
103. 15:52community community developing a bunch of stuff for it it's more open but um you got to be a geek to use it and
104. 16:00then mid journey in my opinion is by far the best but it's um you have to do it within Discord and then Dali sucks ass although I keep
105. 16:11I keep on saying they love dolly that it does great for them I can't get it to give me anything resembling what I want
106. 16:16but I can I can do it pretty consistently with mid-journey now um any tips on getting GPT to no not skip over
107. 16:23some of the instructions in your prompt well it it depends it depends on what you're trying to do what are the other elements of the
108. 16:35prompt and if you're really far down in a conversation it's got a Denver's up 53-48 at halftime for anyone that cares I don't but I've
109. 16:45got it on my iPad over here um what was I talking about uh oh the The Prompt so with chat EBT you have what's
110. 16:55called a context window of 3000 words so if you have a long conversation going once you get past 3 000 words sort of
111. 17:02back and forth it kind of loses the memory up above which is um part of the part of the challenge can we
112. 17:10travel in time we can't but uh at the AI Salon last night um Jane Endicott spoke she's a she's a copywriter and she's
113. 17:17doing a lot of her work with Chachi BT now and it's like completely transformed how she's thinking about things
114. 17:24and she was talking about how she worked and what she said is the hour or two of just sort of blocking out the words and
115. 17:33like doing sort of the drudgery work when you do like a first draft she said that now gets done in like 10 seconds
116. 17:40and and what hit me was oh that's time travel right because if she would have spent an hour or two writing it manually
117. 17:47and now she can just push the button as Ethan Mullick says if she can just push the button and jump ahead to being at that first draft
118. 17:58um she just time traveled right so it's not time travel in that sense but it's it's it's definitely saving time and
119. 18:04freeing up creative uh brain space uh which which she talked a lot about um she talked about feeling a lot more
120. 18:11creatively engaged than she's been in a long time I feel the same way um if you've got questions about AI pop

124. 18:42it's slightly different it's a little more hobbled but it's still good and free and then poe.com is also really cool um okay let's see

126. 19:04letter so and I'm old you know with bad glasses so can we use any of the older chat CPT iterations well if you if you go to chatgpt
127. 19:20[Music] um you've got access to um if you're a coder and you want to um if you want to access old versions then you need to go to the
128. 19:35play playground so if you go to platform .openai.com playground then over here in the corner let me make this
129. 19:49bigger oops see I have this pull down list of of um what do you call it models old models so there's text DaVinci 3 Curie 001
130. 20:05babbage001 Ada DaVinci so a lot of these ones at the bottom are older ones and it tells you what they do and things
131. 20:13like that there's like a little a little contextual menu there that tells you which ones they are but like
132. 20:19text DaVinci 003 is chat gbt three or three point five I think it's 3.5 and then if you go to chat let me see if
133. 20:27I have access to four like I don't have I don't have access to four in uh in the developer playground which makes me cranky but whatever
134. 20:38we are early and that is the deal all right so is is it right chat GPT doesn't know public records well it's right that it
135. 20:54used to not know public records but nah GPT plus which is that little yellow flag right there when I go to gpt4 I now
136. 21:03have this option browse with Bing and so now this is chat GPT connected to the internet what is what is the nuggets wait nuggets
137. 21:19score and write a poem about this game that includes them all right so fires off a little plug-in
138. 21:33it's going to browse the web it's looking for the Denver Nuggets score we'll see where it went you can open this up
139. 21:41I guess it went to USA Today the game updates for game three it's reading the content the halftime scores 53-48
140. 21:51under the bright lights of the NBA final scene nuggets and heat engaged in a dual Serene tied at 24 as the first quarter
141. 22:00took flight with Murray and jokic a formidable formidable nuggets might with a with the citation to USA today
142. 22:11so there's your poem about the update of the Nuggets game so it is now connected to the internet um so so here's the thing there's
143. 22:21actually kind of an important lesson there um a lot of people so there's a lot of fear about AI right now and it's you know the
144. 22:30robots are gonna kill us what are we gonna do there's that going on thanks to Hollywood um and and and so I think because of that
145. 22:41fear a lot of people are very dismissive of these Technologies and so they're like wow you know it's not connected to
146. 22:46the internet or it's like it only knows anything up to September 21. yeah but it's the most remarkable tool in the history of humanity
147. 22:55um and and you know it's relatively new right like like GPT three hit the scene I think in mid or late 2020
148. 23:05and Chachi PT was created in November of last year and it was built in two weeks I don't know if you knew that but chat GPT
149. 23:12um Sam Altman give gave his developers two weeks to build that and launch it they launched that thing in two weeks
150. 23:16and it got to 100 million users in six weeks uh which was the fastest adoption of technology in history
151. 23:25um so so it's a big deal so I would say if it sucks right now right now it's as bad as it's ever gonna get give it a
152. 23:34couple of months and this stuff's gonna get quite amazing how did I create the what are Transformers posts so I'm trying to
153. 23:43think if I've got the image I don't think I saved the image in an iCloud folder hold please
154. 24:00let me see open recent ly so I'll give you the tools that I used so I went to Mid Journey
155. 24:16so let me pop over to mid-journey so I could take one of these characters so so these are like dudes I did in mid-journey the other day
156. 24:24there's some bees oh oh here it is so so today I went into mid journey and I uploaded a Discord and then you copy
157. 24:34those URLs and I said mail Pixar character um light brown hair green eyes whatever it says plain blue background and then
158. 24:46it made a couple of those and then I I realized that this this one image to the right I've got this weird wrinkled forehead and it
159. 24:56looks like I'm surprised so I kind of copied that so I didn't want that so then I just uploaded one where I look fatter than I do right now
160. 25:04and then it made these these uh you know these uh you know Pixar looking things those look too old then I made some that
161. 25:13were younger those were kind of cool then I did iterations of those then at some point I said okay I'll take
162. 25:20that one and then I took that into Photoshop and I used generative fill to extend it and do a different background
163. 25:25I think this is the one I ended up using and I use generative fill give me a really wide nose I made my nose a little
164. 25:32skinnier so it looks a little bit like me and then so that was the image part and then I um then I had um
165. 25:42I had Chachi BT write me a script a voice synthesis script so where is it okay here it is so I told it it was a voice synthesis
166. 25:56specialist and I told it how I start out my videos and then I told it to write me a script that that
167. 26:05I could train a voice synthesis model on and it's like hey there this is hey it's Kyle Shannon with AI learning lab today
168. 26:12we're going to dive deep in the uncanny valley of voice synthesis so I just recorded using QuickTime an MP3 file of
169. 26:19two different scripts just you know long enough to get some stuff in there so that was that was how I used
170. 26:25chat GPT initially then I went over to 11 labs is it.com probably not nothing's.com anymore oh it is all right let me sign
171. 26:40in here Google sign in with the Google and if you go to this thing called voice lab you can upload you say create a new
172. 26:54cloned voice you have to pay for this I think it's 10 bucks a month you say add a generative or cloned voice so you
173. 27:01say plus and then you basically instant voice cloning you upload a file here so I I recorded two versions I
174. 27:08recorded one that was just kind of normal like I talk here and I recorded one that was bright as I called it which
175. 27:16is just basically I was talking like a Pixar character like really excited like this and so that's the one I ended up using
176. 27:24and then I went to where did I go oh so you basically select so you say use this one and then you can paste in a script
177. 27:33so I went back to chat GPT this is probably too much detail but I had it write me a script for what did I say um
178. 27:42now I've generated a recorded a recording for the model give me a script that will yield a 60 second video
179. 27:48um giving an overview of the Transformer model for AI and so it just wrote me the script I literally just copy and pasted this script
180. 27:58I'll do it right now we'll go over and do one so copy this go over back to 11 labs paste it in and then I'm using the Pixar bright did
181. 28:10I use the bright one I might use the normal one I think the bright one might have sounded weird anyway well let's see so so I just paste
182. 28:18in the text I selected the the model of my voice that I created now I'm going to say generate and now we wait we are waiting

184. 28:40so that was that and now if I how do I download it where do I download it from well oh right here okay so I'm going to
185. 28:52download that file so I've got that file downloaded now I jump over to Dash id.com yes come on D Dash id.com
186. 29:09and log in here again with Google single sign-on because I gave them all my data
187. 29:27and then there's some video so if I go in here and I say create video I've uploaded um two different versions of that video
188. 29:37I uploaded one for tick tock which is that vertical one and then there's the I'll do a horizontal one so I'll take
189. 29:43that same script that I just wrote and I'll create a horizontal version of that video so I pasted my script over in the right
190. 29:53and I could just pick one of their synthesized voices or I could upload something that I actually recorded or
191. 30:01what I'm going to do in this case is I'm going to upload that file that I just created it should be in downloads right is that
192. 30:09it hey there it's Kyle yep and so I'm uploading that there all right it's uploaded and now I say uh in the upper right hand corner here
193. 30:25generate video generate and I've got 35 tokens left and this is costing me five tokens see I'm sacrificing five tokens for you folks
194. 30:37to show you how to do this and this this will take 15 seconds maybe 20 seconds 63.54 nuggets

196. 31:00of me this afternoon it took me in total maybe an hour um I mean I knew how to get what I wanted out of mid-journey that helped
197. 31:09and I've done the voice synthesis stuff before but I like re-recorded that audio for The Voice synthesis to create the model
198. 31:15I don't know why it's taken so long but it is but I can show you the I'll show you the one I made this afternoon
199. 31:22and then we can compare that to the Kyle Shannon with the AI learning lab and today we're going to transform your

212. 33:09everything on I'm just running it on um a MacBook Pro M1 like like a year and a half old MacBook Pro
213. 33:17and I've got an iMac like the last Intel iMac is what I have at my office is there software I don't know what you
214. 33:24what you mean is there software for what for for for chat GPT there's not just go well there is there's an official IOS
215. 33:31app but you don't need it you can just point your phone or your web browser to chat.openai.com and that is the software
216. 33:41yeah that that synthesis stuff is cool isn't it um that's good stuff thanks for all your content you're welcome GPT Nationwide or
217. 33:50worldwide I think some countries are Banning it um but I think less than less than they used to I know Italy banned it for a
218. 34:00while and then Sam Altman hopped on the phone with their defense person or something and they cut some sort of deal
219. 34:07and now Italy has chat GPT again so I think certain countries block it but they're idiots for doing that because
220. 34:14here's the thing what's what's happening right now if you haven't been following this on a daily basis like I have the um
221. 34:21this stuff's getting rolled into everything Google's rolling this chat GPT stuff into their Office Products
222. 34:27Microsoft is rolling it throughout office 365. they're rolling it into windows 11. it's already in GitHub it's called copilot
223. 34:36um it's going to be in all the Azure cloud services so this stuff's going to be everywhere it's going to be
224. 34:40completely ubiquitous so anyone who's kind of resisting using this right now is is uh is being very short-sighted I
225. 34:48write guided meditation so this is really interesting thanks you're welcome yeah you know you know the um
226. 34:54that that did site there's a lot of different options you could record your own voice but you could also um let me see create another video

233. 36:12meditations play around with those voices um but but you you might want to record them on your own as well but you can do
234. 36:19the journey it's fun it's it's not super complicated I mean you just saw what I did um okay where was I
235. 36:29what am I talking about who are these people I don't know anyone all right what's the video software again please so the video software
236. 36:45the video synthesis software is called D- ID like digital ID um and then um The Voice softwares 11 labs
