Description
The live stream features Kyle Shannon and Anna Murphy discussing their new "AI Readiness" certification program, which they plan to launch on February 1 following the success of AI Festivus, a community-driven event focused on using AI in various fields. The session highlights the difference between traditional AI literacy and the new framework of AI Readiness, with an emphasis on practical application over merely learning tools. Anna shares her journey from nonprofit fundraising to integrating AI into her work, while Kyle discusses the importance of community engagement in learning and adapting to emerging technologies.
Both speakers encourage attendees to actively participate in the chat, sharing their experiences and asking questions. They aim to create a collaborative learning environment, where individuals can gain insights from real-world applications of AI rather than just theoretical knowledge. The conversation includes the benefits of fine-tuning skills through community interactions, leading to genuine connections and opportunities. Ultimately, their message is about empowering participants to embrace technology in a way that enhances their creative and professional pursuits.

0:00 whatever time it is wherever you are 0:04 welcome today is a super interactive 0:07 session we're going to just like Babble 0:09 a little bit while people pour pour in 0:12 the the the the masses pour in to our 0:16 live stream uh Kyle why don't you tell 0:19 the nice people where where all we are 0:22 live streaming from and to Fantastic so 0:26 we are uh physically uh I'm in Denver 0:29 Colorado an is uh in Portland near 0:32 what's your town I live in Corvalis 0:35 Oregon which is where Oregon state is oh 0:37 okay oh very cool very nice so so so 0:41 we're in in different parts of the 0:42 country um I'm live on Tik Tok right now 0:45 on the AI learning lab I'm also live on 0:47 AI learning lab YouTube and my personal 0:50 LinkedIn account so if you're on 0:52 LinkedIn hi everybody and where is this 0:56 is streaming for you to where this is 0:59 streaming for me to um my 1:03 LinkedIn and we kind of sort of think 1:09 maybe maybe my YouTube okay but that's 1:13 an area for you know fway or calendar 1:18 year 1:19 2025 1:21 review that's that's very 1:25 nice and here's where we all are here's 1:28 where we're all meeting meeting in the 1:29 middle this is what we're talking about 1:32 this is what we're talking about so um 1:35 today we are going 1:38 to Avail people of information about our 1:42 AI Readiness certification and we'll 1:44 share a little bit about how we got here 1:47 how did we get to this point where today 1:49 we are launching this opportunity for 1:52 everyone who has asked us for it which 1:54 is a whole lot of people um we're going 1:57 to talk a little bit about what what 1:59 happened at AI f F uh the response to AI 2:03 Festivus and then what the credentialing 2:06 program will look like as of our current 2:09 thinking which is I don't know 2:12 85% there 90 we've got a we've got a few 2:16 weeks where we're going to um refine our 2:19 thoughts and do some beta testing with 2:21 beta users and then we will drop this 2:24 thing for everybody on February 1 so 2:28 exactly that's what we're up to if 2:29 that's what you're interested in you 2:31 have come to the right place again today 2:34 is an interactive session so please do 2:37 drop your questions in the chat if like 2:39 for if you're on LinkedIn you can just 2:41 put them in there it's like under where 2:44 where we're talking and sometimes it's a 2:46 little bit janky but just keep keep 2:48 trying I will see all of the Let me just 2:52 make sure and it said I I just saw a 2:56 LinkedIn user said the link was not 2:57 working from Kyle's LinkedIn I don't 2:59 know what that means 3:00 if it means the link for this or the 3:02 link that was in the announcement we put 3:04 out but you can go to mine um Let me let 3:10 me pull mine real quick if it if if 3:12 that's not working for you um they say 3:16 got in so they made that comment so they 3:17 got in 3:18 somewhere yeah that's true oh so you 3:21 must be yeah you must they must be 3:23 viewing so we'll leave it we'll leave it 3:26 at that um the other thing uh I felt 3:31 like oh Lor yours is fine your link was 3:34 fine okay perfect the link is working 3:37 now I kind of figured okay so why don't 3:40 we take a second to introduce ourselves 3:41 just in case there are people who 3:43 haven't yet met us my name is Anna 3:45 Murphy no no people have not met 3:48 us I thought I was a 3:52 superar we feel like we're just The 3:56 Darlings right now but it's in part be 3:58 mine didn't work okay linked us your why 4:00 don't you wait a second yeah um didn't 4:02 work from 4:04 email I don't know what to tell you 4:06 LinkedIn is weird um all 4:10 right it took me far too long to figure 4:13 this out well figured it out all right 4:16 well we'll let let's let's do that why 4:17 don't you introduce yourself let let the 4:20 people also this 4:22 is perfect so this is perfect training 4:25 for the AI Wilderness because nothing 4:29 works on the first click and nothing 4:31 works on the 12th click on the 12th 4:33 click there's this one woman I follow on 4:37 Tik Tok and she her name is um infinite 4:42 something and um she purposely makes it 4:46 difficult to find her stuff on the 4:48 internet be find her courses because she 4:50 doesn't want people in there who can't 4:53 dig around and find stuff you you want 4:56 to know what's funny what when I when I 4:58 first moved to New York there was an 5:00 acting teacher named Bill esper and he 5:01 invited me to take his acting class and 5:04 when I went to you know sign up for his 5:06 class the receptionist dude was just 5:08 really nasty and he was like just wait 5:10 over there just nasty dismissive and so 5:13 I waited for like 45 minutes and I'm 5:15 like what's up you know am I gonna meet 5:16 with Bill and he's like no he's busy 5:19 just come back tomorrow and sent me away 5:21 he did that three days in a row and I 5:23 found out that was all by design that 5:26 that bill didn't want anyone in his 5:28 acting class that that didn't have the 5:30 Moxy to get past his nasty assistant 5:33 because it's a tough business so I 5:35 totally get it but anyway so Anne 5:38 introduce yourself please okay yeah so 5:41 um my name is Anne Murphy and I live in 5:44 Corvalis Oregon which is where Oregon 5:46 state is and a couple of years ago after 5:49 25 years in my industry I launched a 5:51 consultancy my uh subject matter 5:54 expertise is in nonprofit and highered 5:56 fundraising and when I added AI in into 6:00 that my subject matter expertise I got 6:03 like my superpowers where I was able to 6:06 really focus on working out of my zone 6:09 of Genius Like I launched this company 6:11 because I want to make an impact in the 6:14 world and making an impact in the world 6:15 isn't going to happen when a Visionary 6:19 type person type leader is you know 6:22 scouring 6:24 through uh where the comma is you know 6:27 where the comma is supposed to be uh 6:29 what why the spreadsheet column is off 6:32 like that's not going to work so I 6:35 started using AI got completely hooked 6:38 on it joined a bunch of communities to 6:40 kind of test them out and I got I got 6:43 really um involved with the AI exchange 6:47 which is R Rachel woods and then I got 6:49 really involved with the AI Salon which 6:51 is Kyle and his crew his vast crew um 6:55 his co-founder Leah fasten uh the whole 6:58 group of Champions who were called the 7:00 Irregulars long story needs context um 7:05 and then in the beginning of 2024 I 7:08 launched she leads AI which at the time 7:11 was just you know highlighting you know 7:14 baller women in the AI space and then 7:17 that got a lot of enthusiasm and then we 7:19 started doing events and we started 7:20 doing knowledge swaps and then the 7:22 election happened which was a call to 7:24 action for so many of us then we had a 7:27 really big event and then you know 3,200 7:30 people signed up for Festivus and 1,700 7:34 of them joined our shead's AI mailing 7:36 list and that what brings that's what 7:38 brings me to today that's what brings us 7:41 here um just quickly before I introduce 7:43 myself it looks like there are people on 7:45 LinkedIn in What's called the theater 7:47 which maybe is a a backstage waiting 7:49 area for this thing do you know if 7:51 there's any there's no theater in 7:53 LinkedIn no no in the in restream is 7:56 there a theater is there some sort of 7:58 holding room in Ram that you know 8:01 of no no definitely not there's just 8:06 LinkedIn live it's on I don't know 8:09 what's happening because I've been doing 8:10 these for 24 months so really it's just 8:15 showing on my on my like let me see if 8:19 there's something wrong with it while 8:20 you introduce yourselves yeah Amelia 8:22 says several people are waiting okay 8:24 cool um typically Bess I gotta say 8:26 something typically bless all of your 8:28 hearts absolutely adore you however AI 8:33 Salon folks don't spend as much time on 8:35 LinkedIn and it's typically you guys who 8:38 have a hard time getting on so bear with 8:41 us we're gonna figure this out I will I 8:43 will figure out what's going on great so 8:47 I'm Kyle Shannon uh I am a Storyteller 8:50 by training uh I uh I have a fine arts 8:53 degree in acting I've written a bunch of 8:55 screenplays I moved to New York City out 8:57 of school to pursue a life in the Arts 8:59 uh I'm based in Denver Colorado right 9:01 now um in the mid90s I stumbled upon 9:04 this thing called the worldwide web and 9:06 just became absolutely enamored with it 9:09 and what the possibilities were and I 9:11 started one of the first online 9:13 magazines and one of the first digital 9:14 agencies a company called agency.com in 9:17 the 9:17 mid90s so I've been in a movie before 9:20 that looks very similar to what we're 9:21 going through right now with AI um my 9:24 current gig is I'm the co-founder and 9:26 CEO of storyvine which is an automated 9:29 uh video storytelling platform we've 9:31 been around for 13 years come this may 9:33 uh so I've been doing that for a while 9:35 and then yeah when chat GPT came out I I 9:39 um recognized that holy crap here's 9:42 another here's another big technological 9:45 shift that's about to happen and um the 9:47 one thing that I learned back in the 9:49 worldwide web days is community is 9:51 everything uh and if you're connected 9:54 and in the conversation in the early 9:57 stages of a technology takeoff um 10:00 there's massive opportunity there and so 10:02 I started the AI Salon I started the Tik 10:04 Tok Channel and We're Off to the Races 10:06 so and that brings us here so let are 10:11 are you good you want me to just give a 10:12 little bit of background on how we got 10:13 to festiv yeah because I'm I'm gonna try 10:16 to keep You're Gonna Keep keep motoring 10:18 okay yes 10:21 fantastic um okay 10:24 so um the AI Salon was uh our first 10:28 meeting was December 7th 2022 so that 10:32 was the day uh the week after chat GPT 10:36 launched the following year um an had 10:39 become part of the AI salon and um we 10:43 got to um the holiday 10:46 break and me having 10:49 ADHD I had an idea that everyone they 10:52 had just launched custom gpts and 10:54 everyone was excited about gpts and I 10:57 knew an was teaching people how to build 10:59 gpts in her community and we were doing 11:01 lots of that in the AI salon and so I 11:03 reached out to Ann and I said I have 11:05 this wacky idea what if we did a 24hour 11:08 gpon for nonprofits because you know she 11:11 does nonprofit fundraising and she's 11:14 zany and I thought she might just say 11:16 yes so she didn't hes you didn't 11:18 hesitate you were like yep let's do it 11:21 I'm in and so last year on the weekend 11:24 in between Christmas and New Year's we 11:27 got people are getting in now uh so 11:30 whatever you're doing it looks like it's 11:33 working um so that's good so so we did 11:36 this thing called GPT for good and and 11:39 we invited people from our communities 11:40 and I don't know how many showed up 100 11:42 150 something like that over the 24 11:44 hours and these communities came 11:48 together and built 150 more than 150 11:51 gpts for nonprofits we had some people 11:54 like uh Suzanne Welker Jurgens and and 11:58 Kelly camp and Daisy Thomas that stayed 12:01 for the whole 24 hours and you know they 12:03 intended to come in and build one GPT 12:05 and they ended up building you know 20 12:07 of them it was absolutely a remarkable 12:09 event so that was last year and then 12:13 this year about a month before the 12:15 holidays Ann reached out to me and said 12:16 hey are we gonna do a thing and I'm like 12:18 yeah we should do a thing and then we 12:21 kicked around some ideas and one of the 12:24 things that we we struck on was we've 12:28 got these community with remarkably 12:30 talented people in them and is there 12:32 some way that we could provide a stage 12:35 for people to get out there right to to 12:39 put their talents out there and what 12:40 they're working on out there because 12:42 what what we've learned in our 12:43 communities is that experiencing what 12:46 someone else is doing with AI is one of 12:48 the best ways to learn it right learning 12:49 it yourself is good and required and all 12:51 that sort of stuff but being in a 12:53 community of people that are doing 12:54 things that you don't do is a great way 12:57 to learn it and so that was the idea and 13:00 then two weeks went by and I had done 13:03 nothing on this so we had like two weeks 13:05 to go uh before that weekend and an 13:09 reached back out to me and said hey Kyle 13:11 have you done anything on this AI 13:12 Festivus thing and I was like came up 13:16 with a 13:17 name I came up with a name for 13:21 it and so she took off she put a a team 13:25 of volunteers together and within I 13:27 don't know within four or five days days 13:29 it had already taken shape and we were 13:32 texting furiously back and forth about 13:34 we've got X number of speakers and 13:36 everyone I'm asking is saying yes and 13:38 and then she said have you called your 13:40 people and I'm like no but then I 13:43 did and everyone I reached out to said 13:46 yes with the exception of of two people 13:49 that just logistically couldn't do it 13:50 because of holiday travel and so we had 13:52 34 people say yes we've essentially 13:55 everyone we asked out of our communities 13:57 was like I'm in where do you need me 13:59 when do you need me and we're like well 14:00 it's a holiday weekend and they're like 14:02 oh that's more complicated they gave us 14:04 hours and then and then an took all of 14:07 those names and all of those schedules 14:09 and put together the uh the itinerary so 14:12 so the event if you missed it AI 14:14 Festivus was December 27th and 14:17 28th they started at 9 in the morning 14:20 Pacific time and essentially went till 9 14:22 o'clock at night um both Friday and 14:24 Saturday the 27th and 14:26 28th um and that was the plan and we had 14:28 34 speakers in 23 or 24 sessions so we 14:32 had some panels in there and uh and and 14:35 that was that now what happened was 14:37 along the way tell me when you want to 14:38 jump back in and because I'm just sort 14:40 of riffing while you're you're good yeah 14:43 no I'm just I'm just responding to about 14:46 50 messages about links so for everyone 14:50 you're not missing anything yeah we know 14:52 you're not missing yeah Kyle go on 14:56 you've got the links posted in here 14:58 multiple times just use those if you're 15:00 having a hard time getting in beautiful 15:02 so okay awesome so 15:06 um so we we started putting the word out 15:09 and and a couple of things started 15:11 happening we were starting to get more 15:14 response than um than we were planning 15:17 we were hoping maybe for I don't know 15:19 what three or 400 people to sign up and 15:22 at some point we had 100 people signed 15:24 up and and reached out and like is 15:25 anyone going to come to our party it'd 15:27 be nice if we had 300 I'm like I know 15:30 and then it went up a little bit and 15:31 then all of a sudden we were at like 15:33 405 and then we were at like 700 like 15:37 the the numbers just went crazy and it 15:39 turns out um a a lovely woman named 15:42 Sabrina romanof um made a a video about 15:45 the event on her Tik Tok Channel which 15:47 is she's got a whole community and so 15:51 that just kind of lit registrations on 15:54 fire so we ended up registering more 15:57 than 3,200 people for this event 16:00 um and it was absolutely insane and it 16:04 we you know we I'm trying to think when 16:07 we about three days before the event we 16:10 were probably north of 2,000 people 16:12 registered and so we got together and we 16:15 said listen a normal normally what we 16:18 would do is we would do like a a zoom 16:20 call where everybody logs in and we all 16:21 get to talk to each other and like with 16:23 2,000 people that ain't G to work like 16:26 you know Zoom don't do that um and 16:29 nothing does that right so and it's just 16:31 not logistically possible so we ended up 16:33 switching our um Zoom subscription uh to 16:37 to what's called a webinar format and we 16:39 had to go to a Max of 3,000 people which 16:42 was really pricey so we had sponsors 16:44 that all stepped up and helped 16:46 underwrite all of that and so the event 16:48 went you know took off and and it was 16:51 absolutely amazing 16:54 so let's see tell me more about AI 16:57 Festivus what was it why should I have 16:59 fomo so so what it was was this two days 17:04 of really anyone could speak about 17:07 anything they wanted to speak about we 17:08 hand selected them they were like the 17:10 superstars of our communities right 17:12 they're the people that we like we want 17:13 these people to talk 17:16 um and and 17:19 so should you have fomo yes you should 17:22 absolutely have fomo but the good news 17:24 is the the recordings are available and 17:26 what we're talking about today the 17:28 certification is a certification to take 17:31 all the wisdom that was provided during 17:33 festiv us and turn that into a 17:34 structured uh learning uh system and 17:38 that's that we're developing right now 17:40 so that I'm really excited about but I 17:42 guess what I'll do is this I will share 17:45 my big takeaways an and then I'll kick 17:46 it over to you and I'd love to hear your 17:48 big takeaways or or tell me if your 17:50 head's in the game the talk yeah it is 17:54 in the game let me let me I'm going to 17:56 answer questions as we go um not about 18:00 not about links uh the links are in the 18:03 links are posted so um Diane asked or 18:07 somebody asked not somebody asked about 18:10 what the certification in a what is it 18:13 I'm going to dive in with yes it is a 18:15 certification on AI somebody said not 18:18 really so it is a certification on ai ai 18:22 not about it's not about AI tools right 18:25 so so one of the things that we we 18:27 talked about initially was doing AI 18:29 literacy certification and an reached 18:33 out to me and I thought this was I'm so 18:34 glad you did because I hadn't I hadn't 18:37 even gone here but she said literacy 18:39 something doesn't feel right about it 18:41 and we we kicked it back and forth where 18:43 we both landed was literacy was starting 18:45 to feel like literacy is about learning 18:47 the tools right learning prompt 18:50 engineering and learning tactical stuff 18:53 and getting good at chat GPT and good 18:54 getting good at apis and right getting 18:57 literate they felt very tool Centric and 18:59 so so we kicked some ideas around and 19:01 where we landed was what AI Festivus was 19:04 really about was people talking about 19:07 how they're doing what they do in life 19:10 and then how they use AI in the context 19:12 of that so they what they what what it 19:15 was basically was 24 sessions of people 19:17 talking about how they're getting AI 19:20 ready right and and so so when we had so 19:24 many requests for can this become a 19:26 certification focusing on well what do 19:28 we want to certify is actually really 19:30 important and so AI Readiness is what we 19:34 landed on and so the certification is 19:35 about AI Readiness and that's that I'm 19:37 super excited 19:40 about great um 19:44 so I feel Kyle like based on the 19:48 questions in the chat we should not go 19:51 through AI Festivus except for as we're 19:55 answering the questions so let's um let 19:59 me dive in with a couple of more details 20:02 first of all everybody let us take just 20:05 a little step back I totally understand 20:08 that you want to know the 20:09 nitty-gritty keep in mind we are still 20:12 30 days out from launching this but we 20:14 are and we are only four days out from 20:17 Festivus so this is all happening really 20:19 really quickly um and that if you are 20:22 having fomo definitely go over to the AI 20:25 salon and you can you can get resources 20:28 there you can watch the videos there and 20:30 I'm sure somebody would drop that in 20:33 drop that link in the chat if you 20:35 weren't already if you if you don't 20:36 already know what that is if you go to 20:38 the salon. that's going to take you to a 20:40 website you have to click on join our 20:42 community on that website and that will 20:45 take you to the community site where the 20:47 resources 20:49 are 20:51 okay 20:53 um yeah and I was wondering if Vicky you 20:55 could drop links or Donnie drop links 20:58 that people are asking for and that they 21:00 need in order to access some of these 21:02 resources oh thank you thank you Silver 21:04 Fox appreciate you very much um 21:08 so couple of things um about 21:12 how Okay so Kyle already me talked about 21:15 the difference between AI literacy and 21:16 AI Readiness and here's my take on it my 21:20 take is that AI literacy was like 2023 21:24 2024 now that is absolutely St table 21:27 stakes and there this is not like 21:29 fearmongering to say you can't jump on 21:31 board because you absolutely like now's 21:33 a perfect time to jump on board like 21:36 right now before like the next wave of 21:39 things happen like we had a big wave in 21:41 December right there's always a lot 21:43 going on but like right now this pause 21:46 before you know agents become a big deal 21:49 which we don't need to worry about that 21:50 today PA before the acceleration starts 21:53 accelerating now a good time so this is 21:55 the 21:56 perfect yeah so this is the perfect 21:59 moment to dive in just like totally dive 22:02 in so you're going to get the AI 22:05 literacy right like through osmosis and 22:08 through your intuition that you're going 22:09 to build and you're going to get AI 22:13 Readiness and what AI Readiness means to 22:15 me is that you are you are like tool 22:20 agnostic you could drop in and 22:24 understand like this is for making 22:26 images this is for making movies this is 22:29 for making you know really good good 22:31 written content like you'll know how to 22:34 use it because you'll know like how to 22:36 use those 22:37 tools well enough that when you sit down 22:41 as an AI ready person and go okay I have 22:43 a project I need to work on like you 22:45 look at your to-do list and you go okay 22:48 how can I use AI so that I can work in 22:51 my zone of Genius so that I don't do 22:54 stuff for this project that's 22:56 unnecessary and K and I talk a lot about 22:59 you know un 23:01 unlearning using our brain first don't 23:03 don't stop relying on this because this 23:05 is the 23:08 bottleneck yes yes ex bottleneck it's 23:11 way better than this is this is the 23:13 bottleneck this is the bottleneck and 23:15 and not to say that anything is bad 23:17 about our operating systems up here it's 23:19 just that there's so much of what if we 23:23 think about what we've been doing for 23:24 decades like what got most of us here 23:26 because I I'm looking scanning I'm think 23:29 thinking mostly everybody is Gen X most 23:31 people maybe Elder Millennial um in the 23:33 chat if I'm getting if I'm picking up 23:36 what you guys are laying down um that 23:39 we're used to first of all we're used to 23:41 doing things the hard way we're used to 23:42 doing things through brute force and now 23:45 we're tired and we're also at the same 23:48 time ready to do more right so we're 23:51 tireder and we're more motivated and we 23:53 have this moment in time so now being AI 23:56 ready means you sit down at your desk or 23:59 you know you wander around outside while 24:01 you're walking and you talk to your AI 24:04 and you you think first like okay what 24:08 have I historically not enjoyed about a 24:10 project like this and what historically 24:12 am I trying to Outsource to other 24:15 people where's the intern 24:17 where's right where's the admin Boomer 24:20 represent okay Vicki okay I see 24:25 you Jen nexton ready Lori yeah Rebecca 24:29 so true so think about like what are you 24:32 yearning for an intern to do what are 24:34 you yearn what are you going to upwork 24:37 to ask ask somebody to do what are you 24:40 hoping that like your work bestie or 24:42 your your work husband will do for you 24:45 and Tackle those things at first get 24:47 some quick wins get some dopamine um 24:50 then go okay how can I get AI to help me 24:53 frame this project up you know simple 24:55 like hey AI what do I need to know in 24:58 order to do this project or hey ask me a 25:00 few questions I need to I need to write 25:02 a creative brief for this big event you 25:05 know ask me a few questions about it so 25:07 we can get started on a successful 25:08 project that's what I mean by AI 25:10 Readiness and then the other thing okay 25:13 just I want to share one thing one of 25:15 our speakers um is a guy named Jim Ross 25:18 and if you don't know Jim Ross you 25:19 should connect with him in the AI Salon 25:21 really great guy he sort of I would 25:24 consider what Jim does is kind of AI 25:26 Readiness 2.0 if you want to like you 25:28 want to if you want to kind of something 25:31 to Aspire to um Jim gets up every 25:35 morning and he sets a timer for 60 25:37 minutes and in those 60 minutes he uses 25:40 AI for his business he doesn't have an 25:42 agenda like he might he says the first 25:44 30 minutes he might have things he knows 25:45 he needs to do make some emails do some 25:48 things make some marketing compy copy 25:50 whatever it might be but that gets done 25:51 very quickly and then he's still got 30 25:53 minutes where he just plays and one of 25:56 the things that Jim's really good at 25:58 there there's 25:59 one thing of AI Readiness is thinking 26:01 about okay I have a problem to solve how 26:03 can I use AI to do that where Jim then 26:06 takes it is how can I use AI to do 26:08 something I never would have even 26:10 thought of before and the the story that 26:12 he shared during AI Festivus was one 26:14 night on a on a Tik Tock live he learned 26:16 how to make songs in sunno and he had 26:19 just met with a client the hour before 26:21 so he said why don't I write him a song 26:23 and see if that you know if they like 26:25 that and so he wrote a song in sunno and 26:28 sent it to this perspective client and 26:30 five minutes later you got an email 26:31 saying you're hired let's let's do this 26:34 so so AI Readiness is also about just 26:37 having that sense of adventure that you 26:40 can do things radically different than 26:42 you might have otherwise concerned yes 26:45 we are streaming this on LinkedIn as 26:47 well as 26:49 YouTube all right and other 26:53 questions so 26:56 um question is going to be 27:00 how first of all congratulations 27:03 LinkedIn user like that is so fire and I 27:05 would love to if you could drop another 27:07 comment about what portion of your job 27:11 search was 27:14 most accelerated enabled Etc by Ai and 27:20 oh she starts on Monday that's so cool 27:22 she or he they start on Monday that's 27:24 awesome 27:26 congratulations yay everybody in the 27:28 chat high fives because that is bomb or 27:30 give them them high fives because this 27:32 is a really this is an awesome Triumph 27:35 congratulations and bringing the H 27:37 dragging the husband along teaching the 27:39 husband toi love it dragging the husband 27:41 along kicking and screaming at CB yes 27:44 yeah yeah the first thing I did was send 27:46 everybody in in our organization to um 27:50 Rachel Woods you know training and just 27:52 to get us all like whenever you're 27:55 working with somebody and you're 27:56 teaching someone I think the biggest 27:57 benefit is to have a Shar vocabulary 27:59 right like what are the how do we talk 28:02 about this it's just like any new skill 28:04 like if I were trying to knit I would 28:07 need to know like 15 new vocabulary 28:09 words before I could even do one thing 28:11 yeah yeah yeah 28:13 exactly right I'd be like is it a I know 28:17 it's not even called yarn anymore for 28:19 example I know it's called fibers or 28:22 something artistic fibers I don't know 28:25 so in that way it's like anything else 28:26 you do live in Oregon um 28:29 I do oh so so yeah I I won't show you my 28:33 shoes 28:37 um so um one of the things that I want 28:42 like when I was working on the landing 28:43 page which we're going to share with you 28:46 guys it's of course a work in progress 28:47 because four days out from from uh 28:50 Festivus but I was thinking about how 28:53 this program this certification program 28:56 Compares with some of the other things 28:58 out there and first of all no shade 29:01 absolutely no shade to my colleagues who 29:03 have launched programs and you know 29:05 Rachel Kimber and I have one that's 29:06 super dope she's in the chat right now 29:08 if you guys don't follow Rachel please 29:10 do she's amazing um but here's what's 29:13 different about ours number one ours is 29:18 not about tools as we've mentioned so 29:21 this is not going to be dive in we're 29:23 going to show you 15 different tools 29:25 we're going to tell you that you need to 29:26 have 15 Tools in fact when tools come up 29:29 we're going to tell you focus on a few 29:31 get really good at those and then spam 29:33 you know go out from there after you've 29:35 played a whole bunch so it's not about 29:38 tools because we know that the tools are 29:40 going to come and go so X Out tools 29:43 tools are not only gonna come and go 29:45 tools like how you use chat GPT today is 29:48 going to be fundamentally different than 29:50 how you use it six months from now and 29:52 it's fundamentally different than six 29:53 months earlier so even the same tool is 29:55 going to change right so yeah so that's 29:58 a bit of a trap and and 30:00 and it's a trap right and what's not a 30:04 trap so here's the thing while while 30:07 Festivus didn't talk about tools there 30:10 were probably I don't know 20 30 40 30:13 tools that were mentioned of here's 30:15 things people are using but all of those 30:17 conversations were at the service of the 30:20 thing they were trying to accomplish or 30:21 the mindset that they had 30:24 right right right and I'll share like as 30:28 a special bonus for this is that Kyle 30:31 and I have already wasted spent learned 30:36 from thousands of hours of playing with 30:39 tools I don't know for me way less than 30:42 you but still I'm gonna guess like five 30:44 or 6 hundred hours learning new tools 30:47 right attempting to learn hugging face 30:49 for example and like crying attempting 30:52 like literally crying you know 30:54 attempting to learn automations also 30:56 crying um so we've done that and we are 31:01 100% sure at this point it's not about 31:03 those so that's what's really good and 31:06 you're going to develop the intuition to 31:07 know should I even just because I can 31:09 use AI should I use AI so again that's a 31:13 difference another difference is and I 31:15 think this is absolutely critical and 31:17 what is so awesome about our 31:19 organizations partnering together is 31:21 that and for those of you who were at 31:23 festiv us you saw that we are real human 31:27 beings every single one of those 31:29 Workshop presenters showed up as their 31:31 whole human self every single one of 31:33 them had the things that I think are 31:36 critical number one a curious mind 31:38 number two a willingness to be 31:39 vulnerable and number three a community 31:41 so they were up there saying to you you 31:43 know first of all uh is my PowerPoint 31:46 working right is my sound working right 31:48 so like they're human with is not a 31:50 sanitized we don't have a production 31:52 crew we have well we do we have Brandon 31:54 in the background and Donnie in the 31:56 background but we don't have we rent a 31:58 studio right it's good it's high quality 32:01 but it's not so overproduced that we 32:04 couldn't edit it if we needed to if we 32:06 couldn't you know we can C drop in and 32:08 make changes as things evolve um so 32:11 we're real relatable humans I have taken 32:14 all these courses where I just feel like 32:16 that person potentially may have never 32:19 done anything with AI but they're just 32:21 really good at reading a teleprompter 32:23 right that's harder for me to connect 32:25 with or people who want to teach solely 32:29 by um Theory like it's like as if it's 32:32 an academic Pursuit it's like we're 32:35 learning we're studying about AI but 32:38 we're not doing AI the other thing that 32:41 I see is um I remember when when they 32:44 when you used to sell software in shrink 32:46 wrap boxes you would get the the the 32:48 manual would be the resource of all the 32:51 things the tool could do and a lot of 32:53 the courses are here's all the things 32:54 the tool can do what really struck me an 32:58 about about Festivus and I mean you 33:00 talked about it like as real people they 33:01 showed up as their real selves but to a 33:04 person like there wasn't a person that 33:06 led with the tool first and a year ago 33:08 that just wasn't the case because the 33:10 tools were so new everyone was just 33:12 trying to figure out what do these 33:14 things do and now that we're kind of two 33:16 years into whatever this industry the 33:19 the post chat GPT industry 33:21 is what everyone to a person talked 33:25 about was what they're trying to 33:26 accomplish in their life what they're 33:28 you know uh you know um maybe they've 33:32 been laid off like I I see a lot of 33:34 comments uh in the in the chat that you 33:36 know some people have been laid off and 33:38 they've used AI to help them or now 33:39 they're going to dive head log into AI I 33:41 think that's absolutely awesome because 33:44 that's what the whole two days was about 33:46 was people showing up and just saying 33:48 here's where I am in my life here's what 33:50 I'm trying to accomplish here's what I 33:52 experimented with with AI here's what 33:54 worked here's what didn't the tools very 33:58 secondary right very secondary and and 34:02 that's the that's the thing that I think 34:04 is worth certifying how do you get in 34:06 that mindset how do you get in a mindset 34:09 I mean I talk about this nightly on my 34:11 live and but you just said it how do you 34:13 get in a mindset where when your first 34:15 instinct when you're presented with a 34:17 problem your first instinct is okay I've 34:19 got to think about this let me go to the 34:21 Whiteboard and and you have to actually 34:23 tell yourself no I don't have to think 34:26 about this I don't have to go to the 34:27 Whiteboard I can just go to chat GPT and 34:30 ask it and let it help me brainstorm and 34:33 and it's a completely different way of 34:35 working that's AI Readiness and it is 34:38 not an overnight thing it is very much 34:41 you know as you kind of play and absorb 34:43 what these tools can do and what they 34:45 mean for you personally about what you 34:47 want to express in the world or the work 34:49 you want to do yeah you absolutely you 34:53 are first all this other stuff is second 34:55 so that's that's what this certification 34:57 is really about and that's why I think 34:59 I'm so excited about it I can tell we 35:02 can tell everybody can tell we are we 35:04 are like beside ourselves right now um 35:08 so so that's another thing like it's not 35:12 it's kind of a an offshoot of we're 35:14 whole humans but like it's not boring 35:17 like there's this one that I signed up 35:19 for where it was like like they were 35:22 like promoting that it's like 57 modules 35:25 and I'm like shoot me now 35:28 there's no way and we all know people 35:31 don't finish their you know on demand 35:34 their their you know uh 35:36 self-guided uh courses because they like 35:40 the interest level just Fizzles right we 35:42 come in hot we're super excited and then 35:45 over time we're like I got other stuff 35:47 to do right so it's gonna move right 35:50 along just like people told us like with 35:53 so many people who were there for every 35:56 single session I know we we signed up 36:00 for this you guys didn't have to do that 36:03 um we encouraged it but but we had a lot 36:05 of people stay for the whole thing I 36:06 want to read what Michelle myy Silva 36:08 just said she goes I so miss that bro 36:10 marketing mindset said no one 36:16 ever you can make money with 36:19 ch oh my God Michelle you know what so 36:23 when I launched my company I had this 36:25 amazing branding expert who told me even 36:29 though this feels yucky you have to know 36:33 who the villain is you have to know who 36:36 you are not right and and the the easy 36:41 culprits for me were the tech Bros 36:43 because I was like I relate to them 36:45 absolutely zero I don't even want to be 36:47 in the same like industry with them how 36:50 can i s how can I be exactly opposite oh 36:53 I know showing up as my whole human self 36:56 and giving and giving and giving just 36:58 like Kyle like Kyle not to you know gas 37:01 you up or anything like that but Kyle is 37:03 one of my mentors and I learned from him 37:05 immediately give give give give give 37:07 give give Because by the 37:10 way 37:12 information and that's like what the 37:14 tech Bros offer right like information 37:16 we all need it but it's also available 37:18 everywhere because of AI y if you need 37:20 information about AI you can ask AI 37:23 right what it's really about and Kyle I 37:25 want you to talk about the um what it's 37:27 really really about are the things that 37:30 make us different from other people in 37:33 the a AI era which is you talk about 37:36 like taste and authenticity can you talk 37:40 about that part yeah so 37:43 so one of the speakers that we had at 37:46 the AI Salon was a guy named PJ lockran 37:48 I used to work with him back in 37:49 agency.com and he he's he started an 37:53 agency he's an entrepreneur he started 37:54 lots of successful companies and he 37:56 started an agency and he decided to to 37:58 switch it to all 38:00 AI um and in switching it to all AI he 38:03 didn't need as many people and he let go 38:06 of his copywriter and gave copywriting 38:09 duties to the account person so if if 38:11 you know anything about um agency life 38:14 like that generally doesn't happen right 38:16 account people are the relationship 38:18 people and the strategy people and 38:19 copywriters are copywriters it's very 38:21 tactical and it's very 38:23 specialized and the account person um 38:28 was very reticent at first and I 38:29 saidwell you know how's she liking it 38:31 now and he said she absolutely loves it 38:33 and I said I said can you tell me why 38:36 you let go of the copywriter and not the 38:39 account person or why yeah why you let 38:41 go of the copywriter and not the account 38:42 person like what was the choice and he 38:44 had an instant answer he said oh that's 38:46 easy he goes the account person had 38:49 taste the account person he knew that 38:54 the skills could be handled by AI to 38:56 some degree but he knew that the account 38:58 person wouldn't let crap go out the door 39:01 right she she had she had a point of 39:05 view she had a creative point of view 39:06 like he valued her 39:08 Humanity right it wasn't about the 39:10 Tactical skills and this is the shift 39:13 that I think we're all in the middle of 39:15 is that in in current 39:17 Society we value specialization and we 39:20 value skills and we value education not 39:23 that education is not important but what 39:25 we pay more for are Specialists that can 39:27 do tactical execution what we pay less 39:30 for are generalists because they're 39:33 generalists and maybe they can't dive as 39:35 deep on something that iceberg is about 39:37 to flip upside down where the AI is 39:41 going to get get good better and better 39:43 and better at tactical execution and 39:45 what we're going to need are people I 39:47 just wrote an article on LinkedIn do you 39:48 know who your Rick Rubin are um we're 39:51 going to need people like Rick Rubin who 39:53 might not be able to write songs might 39:55 not be able to sing might not even be 39:56 able to work the the mixing console but 39:59 he creates Grammy award-winning songs 40:01 and how does he do that he knows what he 40:05 likes and what he doesn't and he's 40:07 willing to say I like this and I don't 40:09 like that and that's kind of the role 40:11 that we all get to step into we get to 40:13 become the creative director we get to 40:15 become the producer we get to become the 40:18 the conductor of the 40:20 orchestra um and and that's just a very 40:23 different mindset from our current work 40:25 environment and and so being AI ready I 40:28 think is understanding that flip and 40:30 what does that mean for you personally 40:32 right maybe you are someone who can dive 40:34 deep on something but can you now start 40:36 to expand out and understand the bigger 40:38 picture that's going to be super 40:39 valuable so is that what you wanted me 40:41 to hit on yes exactly so like and and 40:45 the other component of like showing 40:48 demonstrating through this credential 40:50 that you are part of other people's 40:55 Gatherings and community and being able 40:57 to work together and like you've got 40:59 that that's almost a credential unto 41:02 itself can I share something about that 41:05 yes please 41:07 the one of the things that we we 41:10 recognized very early in the AI Salon I 41:12 think you and I have talked a lot about 41:14 this an is when people initially joined 41:17 the AI Salon there was a lot of 41:19 apologizing so much there a lot right 41:22 there was a lot of people like well I 41:25 just know this little thing over there 41:27 and they kind of apologized for the 41:28 thing they knew because they didn't know 41:31 all the AI stuff right and so they would 41:33 come in and they apologized and we went 41:35 we actually went through about a 41:36 six-month period where're just like no 41:38 apologies stop 41:39 apologizing because people thought that 41:42 the little thing that they knew wasn't 41:44 valuable because to them it was obvious 41:47 and what we learned in the salon was 41:50 that every time someone shared their 41:52 little obvious nugget that they often 41:54 apologized for three or four other 41:56 people in the conversation was would be 41:58 like oh my God that's revelatory I never 41:59 would have thought of it like that the 42:02 power of community is that you've got so 42:05 many people looking at AI through 42:07 different lenses that's how you get your 42:09 education because you never would have 42:11 looked at it like someone who's a 42:13 landscaper looked at it because you're 42:15 not that right and and they will teach 42:17 you something that you will then be able 42:19 to apply to what you want to do that 42:21 that's just you know Earth shattering 42:24 so um people are wanting to 42:31 know okay so here's here's a couple 42:34 little factoids about it here's how it's 42:36 going to work okay and keep in mind 42:38 again we're four days out five days out 42:41 from Festivus and the first day was just 42:44 sleeping yeah so we are still noodling 42:48 on this and we've got backup support 42:52 from people who know how to like get 42:55 things across the Finish Line Vicky 42:56 Baptist is on board with this project 42:59 helping make sure that everything is 43:01 organized properly and it's going to be 43:02 a good user experience for everybody so 43:05 that you can all be 43:08 successful here's the game plan we're 43:11 going to carefully curate the workshops 43:14 into a couple of different big topics 43:18 track for example oh go ahead no just 43:21 tracks tracks right so think of it as a 43:24 track like when you go to a conference 43:26 and it's like I want be in this track 43:29 but it's not going to be beginner 43:30 Advanced whatever because there is none 43:32 of that right everybody is learn in this 43:35 adventure together we're all learning 43:36 how to learn that's what matters not 43:38 where you are it's where you came in and 43:40 where you're going to go so there going 43:42 to be tracks for example AI in business 43:46 you know AI in 43:50 creativity other uses of a AI General AI 43:55 General and that and AI General looks 43:57 like security and policy and and you 44:00 know some of the more like how to large 44:01 language models work things like that so 44:03 we're going to have those three 44:05 different tracks is the initial thing um 44:07 is is is the initial plan based on the 44:11 speakers based on workshops yeah and 44:13 then um we'll have quizzes and like some 44:19 quiet time project for you in between 44:22 something and then um we'll have we 44:26 we're playing with the level of 44:28 interaction that will'll provide for the 44:32 people who purchase this like 44:34 particularly in the beginning we're 44:36 going to think about we're start we're 44:38 figuring that out that's a little bit of 44:40 a TBD we got to figure that out but 44:43 um then yeah and you'll progress through 44:46 it so like a lot of the Learning 44:48 Management Systems it'll be like you 44:50 know you take one or two workshops then 44:54 you take a quiz you got to pass it to go 44:57 to the next one it'll depend on which 44:59 learning management system we're all 45:01 Study Buddies Reginald exactly it sages 45:05 stages of motherhood said we are so 45:07 early it's Schoolhouse learning I love 45:09 that it's Schoolhouse learning we're all 45:12 in the one room Schoolhouse it's just a 45:14 very it's it's a big school house it's a 45:17 big Schoolhouse and pretty soon we're 45:19 gonna need a bigger one and that's the 45:20 point of it exactly right we really want 45:23 to graduate a whole big cohort of people 45:28 who are able to go out here and say not 45:30 only do I know what I know what I'm 45:33 talking about I also am affiliated with 45:36 other human beings and I have this 45:39 certification to prove it right and what 45:42 we're kind of certifying is the 45:44 following things the the previous things 45:47 but and it comes from the place of we're 45:49 not like the all knowing you know 45:53 omniscient AI 45:55 like judges of people and what they're 45:58 good at and what they're not but we have 46:01 been around for a while now I've taught 46:04 4,000 people how to use Ai and I've seen 46:07 what works and what doesn't we've tried 46:08 a whole bunch of different approaches 46:10 Kyle is I don't know millions of hours 46:12 on LinkedIn on a Tik Tok um 46:17 thousand yeah it's a lot um and running 46:21 communities seeing what works seeing 46:23 people's setbacks and so we have this 46:27 like bird's eye perspective and are 46:30 certifying from the place of trusted 46:33 communities right we've got a few 46:35 thousand people in our joint communities 46:38 who are you know successful and thriving 46:42 and happy to be engaged and this will be 46:45 another way for you to engage more 46:46 deeply with them yeah there's a there's 46:48 a question from wed ELC I think you 46:51 pronounce it is there going to be 46:52 ongoing support after completing the 46:54 certification such as forums mentorship 46:56 continuous learning opportunity 46:58 I don't know right now the next thing is 47:01 let's get the certification in place 47:03 what I can tell you is this the she 47:05 leads AI community and the AI Salon 47:08 Community have a lot of that stuff in it 47:11 already Yes get involved in the 47:14 communities there are remarkably 47:17 generous people in both of these 47:19 communities that what what's what's 47:22 incredible about these communities is 47:24 when new people come in 47:28 they aren't judged they're welcomed 47:30 right you know how some communities they 47:32 get to a certain level and then they're 47:34 like well if you're not at this level 47:36 then you're not in this community that's 47:38 not who these are so what ends up 47:39 happening is people come into the 47:40 community they're like H I don't know 47:42 what I'm doing and they get welcomed in 47:44 and if you 47:46 participate if you show up and you say 47:49 hey I'm just learning how to do this and 47:51 I tried this and it didn't work does 47:52 anybody have a tip someone will give you 47:54 a tip and in doing that you're providing 47:57 other people opportunities for 47:59 leadership and teaching you're learning 48:02 and you're building the community so a 48:04 lot of what you're asking for already 48:06 exists it's not formal right but but for 48:09 right now our next priority is to get 48:11 the certification right so that it's 48:14 valuable and useful and it's something 48:16 you can put on your LinkedIn and feel 48:18 proud of right that this is something 48:21 that has got the the that really 48:25 represents these two communities well 48:27 and really represents what we as of 48:30 right now know is the most important 48:32 thing to learn right that's that's what 48:34 this is about so that's our priority 48:35 right now but great question that's our 48:37 priority and a piece of that are is um 48:41 that we will 48:44 maintain the value of your 48:47 certification that's what's useful 48:49 particularly useful about having a 48:51 certification from communities rather 48:54 than just like one human being thought 48:56 leader is that through all of you being 49:00 the rising tide that lifts all boats 49:01 every person that goes through this 49:03 certification and puts their badge out 49:05 there for everyone to see raises the 49:08 value of the certification right you're 49:10 all out there as representatives of this 49:14 uh you know of this program and the 49:16 value as a result just keeps rising and 49:19 rising and Rising The credibility is 49:21 there that's another thing that I wanted 49:22 to mention as a as a um as a 49:25 differentiation so we'll have the 49:27 modules we'll have the 49:29 modules uh grouped into tracks there 49:33 will be quizzes little bit of self-work 49:36 we're gonna our priority is to get it 49:38 launched like that is Task number one 49:40 two and three um we are the target there 49:44 is February 1 yeah February 1 and um uh 49:49 two things I will add on that one is oh 49:54 the community component it may be 49:56 completely met those needs may be met by 49:59 our existing 50:00 communities we will evaluate that I 50:02 actually have a really smart person 50:05 coming in to do an audit of my community 50:07 to figure out um like what's the very 50:11 best way to support everyone so we're 50:14 like taking the deepest of Dives to make 50:16 sure that what we're offering is what 50:18 you all need um why don't I talk about 50:23 how how everybody can get sign up 50:27 without without paying any money okay um 50:32 let me why don't you chat for a sec 50:34 while I get the get the landing page all 50:37 right let me look at some I Shaina said 50:39 something that was when I said the 50:40 communities aren't aren't judgmental 50:42 when you're new shanea said I'm super 50:44 judgy I just don't act on it I love that 50:46 I'm totally judgy there I'm right there 50:48 with you to I'm totally a judger 50:52 but we're not judging like you're not as 50:54 good as right it this is this is a 50:56 community that you can come in at any 50:59 level and just say here's the level I'm 51:00 at and find your people that's one of 51:03 the things that we heard over and over 51:06 and over during festiv us was comments 51:09 that were essentially I've found my 51:12 people here's the 51:14 deal we are so early in AI as much as 51:18 it's been hyped up and everyone talks 51:19 about the hype cycle we are so early 51:22 just a few months ago 47% of Americans 51:25 hadn't even heard of chat GPT so if 51:28 you're one of those people who you're 51:30 like I think this AI thing's important 51:32 and I think I should learn it but 51:33 everyone I talk to about it is not into 51:36 it or they judge me or they tell me they 51:37 don't want me talking about it that's 51:39 what these communities are for these 51:41 communities are those weirdos like you 51:46 we are your weirdos and that's what we 51:48 heard throughout Festivus was these are 51:50 my people finally finally finally 51:53 finally found people that I can share 51:55 this with and so the readiness thing is 51:58 really a way to say okay I'm ready for 52:01 this whatever this thing might 52:03 be okay everybody so here is the landing 52:07 page which just like everything we do is 52:11 a work in progress um I I I whipped this 52:15 together at five o'clock this morning so 52:18 you know trust that it will there will 52:20 be more like it will get better and 52:22 you'll have lots of juicy details but 52:24 here's where we are right now the most 52:25 important thing is is and um Kate's 52:28 going to drop the um website address 52:31 into the chat oh there's multiple chats 52:35 going on okay indoctrinated if you put 52:39 it in if you put it in LinkedIn then I 52:41 will pin it and it'll at least be here 52:43 and then other people can see 52:45 it so all you need to do to to stay up 52:51 to speed and be the first people to know 52:54 and to get a couple of different goodies 52:57 um is to add 53:00 your uh this is on preview so it has 53:03 mine in here but you know you add your 53:05 first and last name and your email 53:06 address hit submit you're going to need 53:09 a couple of things from us one is you're 53:10 going to get Kyle's checklist of AI 53:13 Readiness Essentials so you'll get that 53:15 in your inbox immediately so you get a 53:17 little goodie as our way of saying thank 53:19 you for letting us know that you're 53:21 interested because you know it's really 53:24 helpful for us to have a sense of 53:28 how many people even want this thing 53:29 right as we decide how much money to 53:31 spend on marketing and stuff like that 53:34 so what we're saying here is you're 53:36 going to get Insider updates right like 53:38 Kyle and I will of course have some you 53:39 know goofy pit Pratt Falls to share with 53:43 you guys along the way um you'll be the 53:45 first to know when we launch like our 53:47 beta group and our um when it's and if 53:51 you know when February 1 comes around if 53:54 it's ready earlier you will be the first 53:56 to know so you you can dive in and then 53:58 like I said you'll get these goodies and 53:59 then yes there's a link it's it's you 54:05 guys it's coming it's coming literally 54:09 just said Kate is Kate is dropping it in 54:12 the chat that's okay it's okay you don't 54:14 have to you don't have to listen okay 54:16 are you ready for ai.com is it it's the 54:19 link is in the chat but we'll get there 54:21 yes are you 54:24 ready for a 54:27 .c tell me Kyle if this is accurate 54:32 because also by the way we came up with 54:34 this um while Kyle was driving yesterday 54:37 and I was um I feel like maybe I was 54:41 yeah I was cleaning the house and we 54:43 were just like yeah that sounds good and 54:46 book it yeah and then we went then I 54:49 went on you know whatever and I was like 54:52 well that one's not working that one's 54:54 $22,000 that one's $79,000 54:57 with the one that's $1 okay cool exactly 55:00 oh no Lori already signed up there you 55:02 go beautiful yes I don't even know if we 55:04 have go ahead one of the questions that 55:07 that I just saw going is is there going 55:08 to be a beta so one of the one of the 55:10 advantages of signing up now we are 55:13 going to select some people before 55:15 February 1 to help us test this out so 55:18 we still have yet to determine which LMS 55:21 we're using exactly you know the nature 55:23 of the activities and things like that 55:25 that's the thing we'll be be working on 55:27 over the next couple of weeks so once we 55:29 have something to play with we we will 55:31 be reaching out to some people to do 55:33 some testing so sign up for sure to just 55:36 let us know that you're interested and 55:38 then you know as as this thing 55:40 materializes you'll get more information 55:42 and you'll you'll have it there sooner 55:44 than than others and yeah you there's a 55:46 possibility that we may ask you to do 55:48 some testing for sure yes yes exactly so 55:53 and then like I said you'll get other 55:55 little BTS things where obviously 55:57 hilarious and we will share with you all 56:00 of the oh my gosh you guys I've got 56:01 people we've got people signing up 56:03 already don't don't break our sign up 56:07 form yeah I don't even know if we have 56:09 our our automation set up we're doing 56:11 our best you guys okay okay okay oh my 56:14 God see I just love you guys like you 56:17 guys are amazing you're 56:19 so like I'm a words of affirmation girly 56:23 so when I see the words I signed up to 56:26 me that means you love me and it means a 56:28 lot 56:30 soor if you need help testing yeah okay 56:33 you guys um so other things are what are 56:37 some of the other things that people 56:39 probably came here to 56:41 know oh one of the big questions I got 56:44 is 56:46 will they will the content be available 56:53 forever when you buy this it is yours 56:57 like you have access to these things 57:00 it's yours to play with you can use it 57:03 for as long as you want we will we will 57:06 like you know if this goes well we will 57:08 probably update it after our proposed 57:11 Festivus next year you know it's is this 57:15 is a little bit of a trial just like 57:16 everything we do in AI right we're going 57:19 to see how this goes but you know you're 57:21 going to want new content after you know 57:24 X number of months slash years but it it 57:27 will be yours to use for as long as you 57:30 as long as you need to and the and the 57:32 current the the the recordings from 57:34 festiv us are available on the salon now 57:36 and they'll be in that festiv us space 57:38 you know indefinitely um those things 57:42 organized and turned into this 57:44 certification um that that will be 57:46 available if you sign up for the 57:47 certification so exactly um what 57:53 about what about what where will people 57:57 put these badges how will people what 57:59 are the various use cases for using the 58:02 badge or their certification Kyle that's 58:04 an excellent question an I'm so glad I 58:07 have all of the answers right now an I 58:09 definitely have thought about this in 58:11 depth and definitely I am not making 58:14 anything up right now definitely not I 58:17 am an expert in the situation of badge 58:21 management I have no idea 58:24 um but but I think listen here's to to 58:29 to take it down a serious Notch one of 58:32 the things that we talked about from day 58:34 one of the salon is that we 58:37 want your participation in the salon to 58:40 mean something and fairly early on 58:42 people that were saying they were part 58:44 of the AI Salon were getting jobs and 58:47 they were getting noticed and they were 58:48 you know being asked to be part of AI 58:51 committees in their in their community 58:53 so that started happening early on 58:56 we want this certification to mean 58:58 something and I think you said it before 59:00 an 59:01 that if you've got ideas for how we 59:04 should use these certifications let us 59:06 know we'll build those components in 59:07 maybe we want a little graphic maybe you 59:09 know yes badges you know they're good 59:11 badges um part of this is exactly what 59:14 you said an that if you post this and 59:17 this is you know vetted by these two 59:19 communities that gives you some shine 59:22 but you posting it also gives the 59:23 community some shine right this is a 59:25 virtuous circle 59:27 um and so um so I don't have any 59:29 tactical answers right now about Badges 59:31 and badge management but but share any 59:34 ideas you have with us in fact one of 59:36 the things that we might want to do an 59:39 since we're in this early stage is on 59:40 our signup form maybe just put a thing 59:43 if you have any ideas about the 59:44 certification or badges or something 59:46 like that if people have ideas maybe we 59:47 throw that in the uh in the sign up form 59:50 in a day or two I know yeah as we go yes 59:54 absolutely and also I wanted to say that 59:58 a couple of places where I would put the 1:00:01 badge if it were me um or the 1:00:04 certification U I'm just going to I'm 1:00:06 just going to list so this is now you 1:00:10 know going forward part of your personal 1:00:12 and professional brand so you're going 1:00:14 to use it in all the places where you 1:00:17 can 1:00:19 um um highlight your expertise so for 1:00:22 example if you're a LinkedIn user which 1:00:24 I highly recommend you are are um if 1:00:28 you're a LinkedIn user in the very top 1:00:31 after under your name you can list you 1:00:33 know like three or four things what you 1:00:35 would want to put because every time you 1:00:37 leave a comment on LinkedIn the people 1:00:40 see the first four or five words no so 1:00:43 you could you could put AI Readiness 1:00:46 certified right or I help people because 1:00:49 I'm AI Readiness certified you know 1:00:51 people want to know what to what the 1:00:54 heck to do with you so that's great 1:00:56 that's an example so you could use it 1:00:58 there you can use it on all of your 1:01:00 social media you can use it on your 1:01:02 resume you can use it when you are 1:01:04 talking to people when you give if you 1:01:06 when you give talks because you'll be 1:01:07 highly qualified to give talks you put 1:01:09 it on your slides um you put it 1:01:12 everywhere you can because this is one 1:01:15 of the things that's going to 1:01:16 differentiate you and eventually 1:01:18 somebody's going to say where is this 1:01:20 certification from and then you're going 1:01:23 to get to tell them right good news it's 1:01:25 a legit certification it's based on you 1:01:28 know a few thousand people you know the 1:01:30 learnings that Kyle and an have had from 1:01:33 and our communities have had you know 1:01:35 over the 1:01:36 past what since November 22nd 1:01:40 2022 yep um so I would be like super 1:01:44 loud and proud about it but I'm also 1:01:46 very I'm also very very like that 1:01:49 because I think that it's important in 1:01:52 this day and age that we not be shy 1:01:55 about our qualifications there going to 1:01:57 be a lot of people rolling in saying 1:02:00 they're all that and a bag of chips when 1:02:02 it comes to AI stuff and that's gonna be 1:02:05 pretty 1:02:06 flimsy yep um the the 1:02:11 um what was I gonna say I just lost my 1:02:13 train of thought 1:02:15 uh 1:02:17 uh 1:02:18 um thank you one of one of the one of 1:02:21 the things we're going to do within the 1:02:23 AI Salon is um we've we've talked about 1:02:27 badges for for a while now um but this 1:02:30 will become a badge within the AI salon 1:02:32 so as a member in the AI Salon if you do 1:02:35 the certification that'll show up as a 1:02:37 badge there um gonna say it'll come back 1:02:40 to 1:02:42 me I love Eric I had I had to pull off 1:02:45 the road so I could sign up I'm GL I'm 1:02:48 glad you pulled off the road but that's 1:02:50 amazing thank you you guys you guys okay 1:02:55 um 1:02:57 let's see so uh we will be talking about 1:03:00 this a lot on social media for the next 1:03:04 six weeks you know our goal is to just 1:03:07 like you know how Kyle and I are we love 1:03:09 a Sprint we don't do great with slow 1:03:12 Burns so it's gonna happen fast oh by 1:03:16 the way if you don't know the AI 1:03:19 Festivus 1:03:20 20124 from the day we started it till 1:03:23 the day we launched it was 15 days 1:03:26 so so if you participated in it and you 1:03:30 know what it was that happened in 15 1:03:33 days from nothing no website no logo no 1:03:36 name no just an idea and a dream right 1:03:41 so we can make this happen we are super 1:03:43 motivated to do it um sign up on the 1:03:47 interest list that is incredibly helpful 1:03:50 to us and hopefully for you as well 1:03:53 because you'll get lots of little little 1:03:54 nuggets and you'll be the first to know 1:03:57 about stuff also follow me follow 1:04:00 Kyle and yes and follow Michelle and 1:04:03 anyone else who drops their LinkedIn 1:04:05 especially follow Michelle she has a 1:04:07 brand new podcast called empowered by AI 1:04:09 which is amazing amazing amazing and you 1:04:12 should go over and you should listen and 1:04:15 you should rate it and you should leave 1:04:17 um a review because that's how it's 1:04:20 essentially an AI Readiness podcast so 1:04:22 it's essentially an AI Readiness podcast 1:04:24 you're going to learn you're going to 1:04:25 find your people there too and then 1:04:27 you're going to go and you're going to 1:04:28 follow them and soon your social media 1:04:30 feeds won't suck they will be people who 1:04:32 you actually want to hear from 1:04:35 um what else is there any any concluding 1:04:38 thoughts because I know people oh yeah 1:04:40 we're at 125 we're we're over our hour 1:04:42 so yeah so we should probably uh wind 1:04:45 things up um I don't think so I just so 1:04:48 here's here's the the final thing that 1:04:50 I'll say is thank you to all of you 1:04:52 because the whole an and I were notc 1:04:56 exed to do a certification program like 1:04:58 this came out of participants of Fes of 1:05:01 us going this is so good we like we want 1:05:04 to be able to take this up a notch and 1:05:05 say we did this in some way so thank you 1:05:08 to all of you for that idea and and just 1:05:11 for your participation and your 1:05:12 enthusiasm here it's just it is it's 1:05:14 inspiring and it's it's h lots of feelg 1:05:16 goods so thank feel Goods um before we 1:05:20 sign off the one more thing I want to do 1:05:23 is I'm going to put the website I know 1:05:27 that not I know that like because of the 1:05:31 way uh that the various streaming Works 1:05:36 Kate I think made me a oh made you a 1:05:39 little graphic a graphic of 1:05:42 the website address so I can put it up 1:05:45 on the screen as we head out get ready 1:05:47 to screenshot this yeah unfortunately my 1:05:52 everything is okay there we go um I 1:05:55 think T oh there we go this is planned 1:06:00 spontaneity this we we we had this 1:06:02 graphic days ago but we want it to seem 1:06:06 like this is perfect make 1:06:11 it what's that everything is spontaneous 1:06:15 yeah we're this this was this was all 1:06:17 planned days ago we're just acting to 1:06:19 try to make it look 1:06:21 spontaneous so yeah right exactly so 1:06:24 other people do that we literally are 1:06:26 spontaneous because there's no other way 1:06:28 to do it don't pretend you're trying to 1:06:30 be 1:06:32 spontaneous this is how this is this is 1:06:34 spontaneous people okay but also I want 1:06:37 to say um that part of what what we're 1:06:42 doing go ahead and screenshot this 1:06:44 everybody um because you 1:06:48 can someone what's the link here's the 1:06:51 link 1:06:54 Ross Express our interest and yes this 1:06:57 is the link are you ready for ai.com 1:07:04 and it's the Gen X way it is it is screw 1:07:08 it we'll put it together like we we 1:07:10 we'll figure it out this is a we'll 1:07:13 figure it out situation we'll figure it 1:07:15 out I mean I hope you guys all trust us 1:07:18 yeah here's here's the good news this is 1:07:20 not us figuring out what what the 1:07:23 content needs to be the content is the 1:07:27 remarkable event that happened and and 1:07:30 you know it's us organizing that in a 1:07:32 way that that it can add some additional 1:07:34 value right that's what it is so um so 1:07:38 and and the other 1:07:39 thing one of the other things that I 1:07:41 would like to thank everyone for is our 1:07:45 sponsors have reached out to us and said 1:07:48 they have seen an increase in traffic to 1:07:50 their website and signups to their stuff 1:07:54 um as a direct result of this so so I 1:07:57 want this certification to do the same 1:08:00 thing if there are sponsors for it for 1:08:02 them and for the speakers so one of the 1:08:05 things we're going to do if you're a 1:08:06 speaker who participated is get all of 1:08:09 your stuff right do you have a book that 1:08:11 you selling do you have websites things 1:08:13 like that yeah thanks for supporting our 1:08:15 sponsors So yeah thank you for that and 1:08:17 with that I think that's it screen share 1:08:21 it widely February 1 is our Target date 1:08:24 we are 1:08:26 everything we can um we may reach out if 1:08:29 we need some help testing um and that's 1:08:32 that's all I got I think I think that's 1:08:34 it oh yeah thank you everybody this is 1:08:37 so thoughtful and sweet tell a friend oh 1:08:39 yeah that was the other thing I was 1:08:40 gonna say tell a friend and if you would 1:08:44 be so kind and this is a big ask because 1:08:47 I know that everybody has a lot going on 1:08:49 on their social media 1:08:51 but Kyle and I and our and our back 1:08:54 everybody you know we're all going to be 1:08:55 posting in a lot of stuff about this but 1:08:57 the way the algorithm works is it's not 1:09:00 going to go as far as if you all comment 1:09:04 and post and repost and stuff so you all 1:09:08 are our Core Group you're our 1:09:10 Champions and if you see stuff and no 1:09:13 it'll be several days um uh it'll be 1:09:17 you're so welcome 1:09:19 um yeah we you we can use your help with 1:09:22 marketing this and getting it out to as 1:09:24 many people as possible not because of 1:09:27 our vanity or our egos which are not 1:09:29 non-existent I was gonna say mine's 1:09:31 pretty healthy mine is pretty healthy 1:09:33 too and easily 1:09:39 bruised um I'm just being honest um yeah 1:09:44 it helps us to get this into the hands 1:09:46 of people who who really who need it so 1:09:49 yeah thanks on that note everybody have 1:09:51 a beautiful rest of your day and um stay 1:09:55 tou keep an eye on your email if you've 1:09:57 already signed up if you haven't already 1:09:59 signed up please do
