20. 5:07graffiti and so he reached out to me a couple of weeks ago and he said hey Kyle would you mind terribly if I hand blow you
21. 5:18sir a neon sign for Friday night date night and I was expecting you know date night with like a you know
22. 5:30Courier style D maybe some cursive I was not expecting this good Lord is [Music]
23. 5:47beautiful right out of his glass blowing studio and I was like so so tell me about the Neon gas you ever you ever
24. 5:56Huff the neon and he's like oh you haven't felt pleasure until you've huffed some neon it was that was an awesome
25. 6:06conversation really amazing Lord digital Gods with the huff and the neon oh sounds I mean I've done mushrooms before
26. 6:14but huff and neon come on and you know what he said the pink the pink he said the aqua is not bad he said
27. 6:26yellow yellow's a harsh high he said yellow's a harsh high but the pink you notice there's more pink in here than any other

35. 8:23so so um so disconnected from the mission of this channel because I think the mission of
36. 8:39this channel is is Shifting and I got really good comments today I asked for people to give me comments and I asked for comments very
37. 8:49late in a long video so the fact that so many people actually watched it I appreciate that and they give me really
38. 8:56good comments so I'm not going to not talk about about tools how are you doing tonight I'm doing good cam I'm doing
39. 9:03good I'm like I said I am I'm figuring some [ __ ] out I think what you know about me is when I commit to something I [ __ ] commit to it
40. 9:16[Music] right and so when when I feel disconnected from it it's hard because
41. 9:33the commitments [Music] there and so here's the nature of here's
42. 9:47the nature of what shifted for me um when the channel started out C cat GPT had just come out
43. 10:02the image generation tools had been there for a year and a half or two and they were they were starting to get
44. 10:08decent they they were not great but they were better than they could at least occasionally make a usable
45. 10:17image um and there're only a handful of them and then um there was only chat GPT it was a it was a really Unique Piece of software
46. 10:28and then and then it started to not be there started to be some other things um and it made a lot of sense to really
47. 10:38focus on the tools because what the tools made possible was was really different it was really different than
48. 10:45anything we'd ever seen before it was not only these weren't just tools right these were if you take the the literal definition of the word
49. 11:00computer it is something that computes right so historically what you would do with computers is you would give them
50. 11:08inputs and it would compute and then it would give you outputs right I'm going to give you these three numbers in this spreadsheet
51. 11:17I'm going to put some sort of formula in there the computer is going to compute and it's going to squirt out the things
52. 11:23I'm going to put in my words and you're going to format them and Center them and bold them and change fonts for them and
53. 11:30you're going to Output my words in a word processor so computers for most of our lives have been Computing [Music]
54. 11:44devices and all of a [Music] sudden computers were generating devices generating the G and GPT generative
55. 11:58pre-trained transform former generative generative generative these machines were all of a sudden generating original content based on our
56. 12:11input and it felt urgent to explore what the [ __ ] these things were how they worked were they really copying and
57. 12:23pasting were they actually generating something new why did they hallucinate who are the [Music] players and
58. 12:40[Music] then so for about a year chat GPT was King of the Hill no one could touch it they were they were every time they
59. 12:55would make an announcement they would launch something they would actually launch something that we could go play
60. 13:00with usually within a week or two and then starting 68 months ago they started announcing [ __ ] I think
61. 13:11Sora was announced in February early February sorry I don't I don't know what's going on with my fetuccini
62. 13:18neckline here trying to get it to lay flat so I don't look like I just rolled out of bed [Music]
63. 13:36so as open AI starts not delivering what they announced all of the other companies that made massive Investments when chat
64. 13:47GPT came out it's now a year later they're starting to launch their [ __ ] so anthropic drops Claude 3.5 Sonet it's really
65. 13:56good um grock just dropped grock 2 with flux image generation it's really good Google dropped 38 versions of
66. 14:08Gemini 16 of which you can actually find if you've got an encyclopedia britanica to keep track of all of the URLs where Google is hiding
67. 14:22[Music] them meow is dropping you know llama 3 or llama 2 llama three llama [Music]
68. 14:38three the image generation tools the image Generation War was already getting um crazy and then flux just dropped so
69. 14:52flux is this new image generation model that's really really good like sh shockingly good and it's open source and free and
70. 15:03so it's now being incorporated into everything so the the image tools are just everywhere the large language model
71. 15:10tools are everywhere the movie generating tools are everywhere the real time generating tools are everywhere um coding tools are getting
72. 15:21[Music] better and so so the sh for me is it doesn't feel as critical to talk about the
73. 15:36tools and and I think it hasn't for a while and that's sort of like I was like am I depressed am I like what is what is
74. 15:45the thing right you know I'm neuros spicy I go through my [ __ ] ups and my downs and we all do in the neuros spicy Community we're [ __ ]
75. 15:56Bonkers and it just I couldn't sh it and and like what was popping in my head is I just don't give us much of a [ __ ] about the
76. 16:10tools and it was really bugging me cuz I'm like I got a whole [ __ ] Channel based on at least historically talking about
77. 16:18the tools now I know I talk about stuff other than the tools but that was kind of the primary focus [Music]
78. 16:29so I woke up this morning and what popped in my head was hey [ __ ] cuz that's how I talk to myself hey [ __ ] you haven't made a video in
79. 16:39like three weeks for Tik Tok for your Tik Tok Channel Mr big shot AI learning lab like AI ninja just did a video today
80. 16:48and he said here's my favorite content creators and I was one of them so thank you thank you Ray thank you AI Ninja for
81. 16:55for including me on that list but then I'm like I'm an [ __ ] cuz you know I'm on lists of content creators I'm not creating
82. 17:04content oops shut up champy oh you went out all right hang on [Music]
83. 17:31so I thought what content can I make and then I thought cuz I'm a I like using my my brainy brain sometimes was like what the [ __ ] is
84. 17:44going on why have I not made content and so I did a I did a video today and said I don't I haven't made content in a while and here's
85. 17:56why and so it was something around this idea of these AI tools are so good now and there's so many of them that you can literally
86. 18:12just pick one and it's fine like if you're just getting started all of the tools are now more capable than you're prepared for hang on sec
87. 18:31[Music] and if you're like well they're not fancier than I'm prepared for cuz I'm special now these tools are more capable like
88. 18:43every single one of these tools each and every one of us could spend a month doing it eight hours a day diving
89. 18:51deep on it and still probably not scratch the surface if you just take something like mid Journey Style references that's a whole [ __ ]
90. 19:02world much less just mid journey in general and that's you know that's image generation and then you've got coding
91. 19:10tools you've got writing tools and you've got general purpose Swiss Army knives like chat GPT and Claude that can just
92. 19:20do kind of everything you like well everything what [Music]
93. 19:40so here's what's striking me I think the focus of the channel needs to reflect what's going on
94. 19:56in the world and what's going on in the world right now is we are on the cusp of these tools going from being very
95. 20:10capable discreet disconnected tools to multimodal beasts that can do everything in fact one of the things I've seen in the past
96. 20:24week is that what open AI is actually working on right now is what they're calling now Real Time video AI yeah
97. 20:35that's going to be coming too if it's not here right now [Music] um that open AI is working on what they're calling the everything app and
98. 20:45the everything app you're like well what does that mean means what it says it's your web browser it's your
99. 20:54coding environment it's your image generation tool it's your music generation tool it's your voice synthesizer it's your Movie [Music]
100. 21:04Maker and so how we interact with AI and the aptitudes
101. 21:20that we're going to have to operate from are going to be more important than the skills for how to use the
102. 21:29tools and I know that feels weird right now cuz the tools are still really hard to use but the tools the tools are going to get a
103. 21:45simplification layer on top of them which is AI agents and so in a relatively short amount of time this might be 6 months might be a
104. 21:57year we're going to have agents where you can just say hey I want to go make a picture of a thing and rather than the tool that
105. 22:07you're using having to be the thing that has the image generation tool in it that agent will be able to go hey what are
106. 22:16all of the image tools that I've got access to and of them which is the best one for the kind of image I just got
107. 22:22asked for and it'll go figure it out and it'll go prompt the image and it'll have enough reasoning potentially to
108. 22:28understand if it got back what you wanted and it'll keep playing until it gets it right and it'll just return you
109. 22:36something that's exactly what you want so so we're not that far from the ability to just ask for what you want and get
110. 22:47it and so then so what popped in my head this morning was so the skill that we all the the muscle that we all have to train
111. 22:59is how do we ask for what we want how do we know what we want there's also going to be skills in
112. 23:13agility maybe I'm in a really passive mode and I just want to be entertained but then in being entertained something inspires me and
113. 23:22I'm like oh that reminds me of that project that I want to work on that I never started and now all of a sudden they go into active
114. 23:30mode and then maybe I work on that project for a while and I make some good progress on it because it's AI
115. 23:38Amplified and then I'm like oh I got to do some work for the day job today so let me go do some stuff and I shift into
116. 23:45that mode and then I shift back into relaxation mode and then I right so we're going to dynamically be
117. 23:54shapeshifting as producers flowing back and forth from consumer to producer like fluidly and intuitively sometimes can you
118. 24:09clarify what multimodal represents image tangu Le audio Yeah text audio Yeah so chat GPT right now is multimodal but it's a little it's
119. 24:22it's it's a little Faker it's a little faky version of it so chat GPT Omni the Omni in it means that it's multimodal but they have it
120. 24:36hobbled right now so chat gp4 Omni right now is acting like chat GPT 4 that was before it so what happened
121. 24:45with chat GPT 4 is you've got your large language model so you've got the you put in a text prompt and you get back a text
122. 24:56response and then they had this separate model called Dolly 1 two and 3 that were image generation models and
123. 25:05they basically just said hey let's teach this thing that if someone asks for an image go use Dolly 3 this image model
124. 25:14and when it generates an image display that in your chat so but they were two distinct models and then you had voice where you
125. 25:24could put it into voice mode and you could ask it a question with your mouth part and then it would talk back to
126. 25:30you but it but you weren't really talking to the model there were actually three different models there was when you talked your
127. 25:39words it would convert your audio into text it would then send that text to the large language model as a prompt the
128. 25:51large language model would respond with text and then it would send it to another model that would take that text and turn it into voice
129. 25:58so the current chat gp4 is like four different models kind of duct taped together gp4 Omni is not that but it's acting like
130. 26:11that right now because I think what they've done is they've just hobbled it so that it's really only using the text
131. 26:17version they're still using Dolly 3 and they're still using text or voice to text but sitting underneath it the
132. 26:27advanced voice mode that not everyone has access to but some of some of us do it's a single model that the model
133. 26:37itself understands text images audio um uh potentially video and then with Sora potentially generates video it's
134. 26:51all inside the single model and so let me explain the the so the thing I said before you you you talk into chat GPT it
135. 26:59turns it into text it sends the text to the text model the text model answers you and then it turns it into voice so
136. 27:06there's three models involved in in the new advanced voice you're talking into a multimodal engine that
137. 27:13understands lots of different modes of communication it can understand them natively and it can return them natively
138. 27:20and so natively means this when you talk into chat GPT for omni's advanced mode you're talking directly into the model
139. 27:28itself it not only understands your words but it understands your intonation so if you whisper to it it knows you're
140. 27:39Whispering the new Google advanced voice thing that just came out from what I understand they're still doing voice to
141. 27:46text text to response and then text to voice back so it's not a it's not a multimodal thing now I know they have
142. 27:53multimodal the the Gemini 1.5 Pro for for from Google's Gemini is multimodal you can upload a video into
143. 28:04it and just say hey show me where the red wagon is in in this video or you know tell me what's happening when the
144. 28:11red wagon is is in the video so they've got models that do it I don't know if their voice thing is is doing it right
145. 28:17now but that true multimodal means it can input and output natively not just text but everything else and so so what that means is we're
146. 28:30going to be able to just do crazy crazy things and and and when when you have a multimodal core engine and you take something like this
147. 28:43project strawberry reasoning engine which we still haven't [ __ ] seen yet sitting on top of it what the reasoning
148. 28:50engine does is it says hey is the [ __ ] that you produce down here any good or not that's what this thing does so that
149. 28:57before you anything it's been thought about that's the promise are there other types of data that are being used
150. 29:06besides those four like Biometrics possibly Biometrics but I mean Biometrics is really just analyzing um different streams of data
151. 29:17right if it's visual it might be proportions or it might be Iris contractions things like that so that's
152. 29:23just chat gpt's native ability to see which it can see right now you can upload an image to chat jpt and it can see right now
153. 29:36um what I don't know about is physics like 3D worlds and physics apparently Sora the video model is actually a model that is about
154. 29:49understanding and simulating the 3D World I don't know how real that is cuz they haven't [ __ ] released it and
155. 29:57they haven't talked about it other than their marketing [Music] announcements [Music]
156. 30:13so so I think where I'm going to start Shifting the conversation is to let's see I watched your last video yeah I'm
157. 30:21interested in wait what was that I just lost that whoever pinned that
158. 30:39I watched your last video I'm interested in AI but I enjoy watching you plus Community oh thank you eing Ma or long ma um no the
159. 30:49community here is really important what what I want to make sure that is happening is that this doesn't just become about you know sticking
160. 31:03jokes and me acting like an idiot or playing my guitar having my dog sing like I I want there [Music] to I want this to be a place where if
161. 31:17you hang out here you're going to grow and if I get stuck and stagnated if if if if I'm if I'm like well here's
162. 31:30what got us here I'm going to just keep doing that cuz that worked the industry is going to pass Us by and I think one
163. 31:36of the things that I've been able to do over the years is have a good Instinct for when these different shifts
164. 31:44happen Body temp heart rate like those from Health Rings um it depends on the interface cam I would think that um
165. 32:02[Music] I mean a lot of that data is just text data right it's just numbers so I think that's just interface
166. 32:15I I would think that things like Biometrics you would probably those are probably just going to be applications I I don't know that
167. 32:23chat GPT would ever do that natively because they've got an API so they don't need to build every specific application
168. 32:29but yeah I think there will be I think there will [Music] be well and cam you know the I don't
169. 32:46know if you saw this but um and I only saw one tweet on it so I don't know I don't know how real it is but apparently neuralink 2 from from
170. 32:58Elon Musk so their their second the second neural link patient is now playing what was the video game some
171. 33:07some firstperson shooter video game just using his mind apparently the the version 2.0 the next product that
172. 33:15neuralink is going to put out is to return sight to blind people I saw that yesterday so [Music] um so when so when you start
173. 33:28start when you start Shifting the interface from the computer to the directly to the brain um then yeah
174. 33:35you're going to definitely be using um it's not even just Biometrics right cuz Biometrics is like metadata about the
175. 33:44biology neuralink is tapping directly into the into the your gray matter and you're going to be able to do that um um
176. 33:53meta right now has some sort of this big wrist thing that is actually pulling um neural signals you know from your
177. 34:02nervous system and communicating directly with your brain so I think we're going to have direct to brain
178. 34:09interfaces you know probably within 3 to 5 years and then yeah then I think these I think multimodal models are going to
179. 34:18need to be able to go back and forth with your brain so that's [ __ ] Bonkers anyway we don't need to get into
180. 34:26that [ __ ] right now that that'll come what what's the immediate thing is this so about 2 months ago I wrote an
181. 34:37article with Kevin Clark called rise of the agile [Music] human is that the neural lace I'm a candidate for it when approved I think
182. 34:46it I think that might be what it was called yeah yeah it's it's their second product that could be it what's your opinion on
183. 34:55humanoid robot latest advancements that that the humanoid robots are coming fast [Music] um and again when you go to a true
184. 35:07multimodal it's funny multimodal is such a geeky [ __ ] term it makes it sound so antiseptic but basically right now if you've got a
185. 35:19robot you you take the I sensors the visual sensors or the infrared sensors or the lar sensors whatever they are and
186. 35:27they're going into one model you've got um its ears taking in auditory inputs Translating that audio into text sending
187. 35:38that text to a large language model getting the answer the answer will include both spoken things but also
188. 35:45commands for how the robot should move right so if you ask it give me something nutritious it will look and analyze and
189. 35:53say oh there's an apple and it it will be using the large language model to get the the commands to reach and grab the
190. 36:00Apple well right now that's all of these different AI engines having to be coordinated so the latency between all
191. 36:10these different models is slow so that's sometimes where these there's these weird delays right you ask it for
192. 36:16something it thinks and then it goes sure I can do that for you and then it reaches when you have this true
193. 36:24multimodal engine that can see hear talk um process write code analyze code do reasoning all in a single
194. 36:39model the latency between all the different modalities of those robots is going to get good so the physical robots
195. 36:46they've got them worked out the thing it's waiting for is kind of this next generation of large language model that
196. 36:52are just these beasts that can do all this all this different kinds of processing natively without having to jump between
197. 37:00models not unlike our brains are segmented for specialized tasks yep our brains can you know process them really
198. 37:08quick right and that's that's the right now the the gaps between the models and the robots because they're they're very
199. 37:14different models are are what create the latency Kyle was thinking about uh this super beginners wait how do we not leave anyone
200. 37:26behind as our things involved okay so so great question an so here's here's where I am so so I wrote this paper called
201. 37:35rise of the agile human and what it talks about is aptitude trumps skill and there's some very specific ways of
202. 37:50Behaving that if you behave like that you're going to be very successful in Ai and if you don't behave like that it's going to be
203. 38:01rough and so for example an one of those attributes is curiosity like some of these are the values of the AI Salon are you
204. 38:11curious and so how we don't leave beginners behind is we just say hey if you're a beginner here let's get
205. 38:21curious so an exercise I've even thought of tonight is um let's pick a category and say who's tried something
206. 38:34and just go try something and and just have people you know put in the comments here's the tool I tried here's the tool
207. 38:41I tried and I'll just go look at them and so we'll still be playing with tools but what we'll be exploring is curiosity or Adventure or
208. 38:49bravery like a lot of times on here I will get nervous about not wanting to do something if I haven't tried tried it before well [ __ ]
209. 38:59that maybe I need to suck it up buttercup and go try something in real time risk it being boring risk you know falling on
210. 39:10my face and not figuring it out because that's one of those aptitudes that become increasingly important so I think what I want to
211. 39:20cultivate what where I want the conversations to go in here is to is to really look at what are these aptitudes that are
212. 39:28going to make us AI super users independent of the tools because the tools are all getting so good now you can essentially use any of
213. 39:38them and what's going to be more interesting is the ability to quickly shift between something you you are
214. 39:45masterful at you're really good at to something where you're completely out of your element and just be able to do it
215. 39:51like that and not hesitate and not be afraid and not be intimidated because that nimbleness that mental acuity to be able
216. 40:05to just [Laughter] go the tools can now keep up with us they can augment where we're weak they're going to
217. 40:14augment so all we have to do is be able to go I want to do this oh now I want to do that oh now I want to do this oh now
218. 40:20I want to do that I think that skill becomes a [ __ ] superpower and so again like all of my talking right now this is like 8 Hour old
219. 40:33thinking like it just hit me today what's going on so I don't know what that looks like in here it you know what's funny it may not feel
220. 40:44different if if you've been like we'll probably still do similar stuff I'll go show [ __ ] but maybe how we get there is
221. 40:52different and maybe what we talk about is different um you know maybe it makes sense to bring people up to say hey I was at work today
222. 41:03and someone asked me to try something new and it scared the [ __ ] out of me all right let's talk about that why did it
223. 41:08scare you what what was scary about it well I'd never done that before okay did you have chat GPT yeah did chat GPT
224. 41:16solve it for you immediately oh yeah it was fine okay so that fear of not being able to do it that was a legacy fear
225. 41:23right oh yeah okay you know like like that could that could potentially be really valuable I don't know what are your thoughts what are you
226. 41:43thoughts [ __ ] I'm old now I have to bop bop bop would love to explore how everyone talks about AI in their life and daily
227. 41:54and work yep exactly I I had some thoughts a moment ago but now they're they're outdated very valuable says Dr J I'm
228. 42:05down I've been going through the same shift interesting Source Camp's been thinking about this a lot quick tour the salon yeah that's
229. 42:14that's a good idea um okay you're on to something um so there's a couple of things that I'm going to be talking about
230. 42:28one is Rise of the agile human we're going to go through some of those attributes one is rise rise of the agile organization how do
231. 42:36organizations how should they be behaving in this what is your problem what do you want what's going on dude
232. 43:12that is one whiny dog tonight um so we're going to be talking about rise of the agile human rise of the agile
233. 43:23organization we're going to be talking about collective intelligence whatever the [ __ ] that means I'm writing a book on it right
234. 43:30now um and then we're going to talk be talking a lot about community and so if you haven't been here before you should go oh let me cover up

237. 44:14out not only are we individually going to need to become more Nimble at how we learn and how we interact with these tools cuz they're
238. 44:27going to be very Nimble it is not going to be possible for any one of us to understand even a small fraction of what's going on with
239. 44:43AI and so I think for many many many reasons being a part of a community full of people who have similar aptitude Sim

247. 46:10first one play first is weird seems counterintuitive it's like well I've got work to do what do you what do you mean play I mean play I mean
248. 46:23play I mean play with tools it it was funny on the Salon this week one of the guys got on and he goes well I'm not the creative one in our
249. 46:32family I'm the coding guy and I'm not the creative one my wife's the creative one and she's the creative one and so I
250. 46:37don't use these creative tools cuz I'm not the creative one I'm not the creative one I'm not the creative
251. 46:42one what play looks like is even if you're not the creative One play with the creative tools even if you're completely [ __ ]
252. 46:51intimidated by coding and Engineering have chat write code for you and then have chat GPT teach you what to do with

256. 47:35AI to I get to learn AI holy [ __ ] this is exciting holy crap are you kidding me you learn in a completely different
257. 47:49way and then in doing that you'll learn enough to shift into that next mode which is mindfully create it doesn't
258. 47:57mean just making crap and vomiting it out there it means okay now that I've learned some skills playing let me put together an art
259. 48:07project or let me solve a problem at work or let me write a business plan for the business I've been thinking about
260. 48:13all my life but too afraid to start start building something start building something with intention and then the generously lead
261. 48:23part is tell people what you're doing ask for help offer help share to your Facebook group hey I started this new project and I'm using
262. 48:35Ai and these three things it was brilliant at and these two things it really sucked at and you'll Inspire someone else to go
263. 48:47wait you're doing what with AI oh I I had it write a business plan and now I'm I'm I started my business like AI helped
264. 48:55me incorporate it wait it can do that and before you know it you'll find yourself in a leadership position where you're like I I'm just
265. 49:05learning this [ __ ] and it'll feel uncomfortable and weird but what'll happen over time is you'll get more and
266. 49:11more comfortable with being in that conversation and you'll become a leader and you'll become an innovator and you'll start to trust
267. 49:22yourself so AI literacy isn't about mastering the tools it's about mastering the mindset to be fluid enough to use these tools
268. 49:32powerfully so anyway so that's that's kind of what the salon is about so what we created here is a six-stage
269. 49:40onboarding process so step one is you know check out about the salon step two is introduce yourself so you should go
270. 49:47in here and you should say here's who I am I'm Nina I'm an illustrator and a designer who went rogue some years ago awesome right
271. 49:57so go in here introduce yourself let people know who you are let let people know what you're up to then take a look at our
272. 50:04values and these are some of these attributes some of these aptitudes that I'm going to talk about with rise of the agile
273. 50:12human there's more in that article but the biggies for the salon are curiosity playfulness empathy empathy is a big one a lot of
274. 50:23people right now are really afraid a lot of people are um Angry they're like the AI is going to take my jobs the AI is going to kill
275. 50:40us rather than arguing with them understand what that where that fear is coming from and if you can understand it then
276. 50:50you can say oh yeah I felt that I know what that feels like I felt like that too and then I tried it and you know
277. 50:55what got me over the hump is this thing or that thing I just did it tonight I was just at a gallery tonight with the wife and
278. 51:04this guy started chatting me up he's like what do you do I said I'm a photographer and I'm I'm really into ai ai
279. 51:12huh and I talked for half an hour about how much I love it and this and that and how I'm more creative alive than I've
280. 51:19ever been and he just had this [ __ ] puzzled look on his face I'm like where are you with this stuff and he
281. 51:25goes I I don't know he goes I like he has he he hadn't really taken it in he wasn't against it he wasn't for it I
282. 51:33said you want to see something cool it's it's my line want to see something cool and I had taken a picture of I
283. 51:42wonder if I can show it to you I think I can cuz it's digital and it's in the cloud
284. 51:56is this it hang on today yeah so I'm at this gallery and this
285. 52:10piece of artwork's on the wall and I thought that was kind of interesting was a print on fabric and so I opened up chat
286. 52:22GPT and I said create a version of this with human agility as the theme so I've been thinking about this human agility
287. 52:30thing and that's what it generated and I showed him that I said I started with this and I said recreate it with human agility as the
288. 52:44theme and he'd never seen any of these tools do anything he was like huh I said yeah and then I said I wanted it to be taller so
289. 52:57I said make it taller and more geometric and then it did this and he's like huh I mean that's [ __ ] Bonkers it's inspired by that other
290. 53:12artwork but it's in no way you know a plagiarism of it it's a it's a stylistic nod to it and then I popped open mid Journey or
291. 53:27Korea I think it was Korea and he was a photographer I said describe some of your your photography and he described it
292. 53:40as like mythical fear or something like that and so I put it in and it made this image and his head cocked sideways and
293. 53:50he went huh he never really said much and then I went and looked at other art and then about 5 minutes later he had his phone out and he
294. 54:02goes what what would that what was that one deconstruct I said Deco here yeah Deco here and you wrote that down and I said
295. 54:11Korea and then I said mid journey I said go play with those he's like yeah I'm gonna right so you know being empathetic
296. 54:22to the fact that people might be in a in a place of resistance in his case it wasn't an articulated resistance but it was like like what
297. 54:34what felt clear to me about him was I sensed that he didn't think it was possible he was technical enough to do anything with

305. 56:19are if you have labeled yourself as I'm not technical enough to do this AI stuff I'm not smart enough I'm not technical
306. 56:28enough I'm not trained enough I didn't go to computer science I only have an art degree you know I I I'm only a a
307. 56:36stay-at-home mom or dad or you know I I work in a you you know in a service business I've never done anything with computers other than you
308. 56:46know at the register it takes some [ __ ] guts to be willing to go I'm willing I'm willing to step into being ignorant and feel
309. 57:01uncomfortable long enough to learn what these tools are that takes some bravery you know what you know what else takes bravery I
310. 57:10realize step two of our little onboarding intro introduce yourself that's [ __ ] terrifying and so the value of Bravery
311. 57:20is like be willing to step up and say hey I'm new here don't spit in my eye and this community won't they'll
312. 57:35embrace you and then the last one is generosity generously lead be willing to say hey here's what I learned be willing to ask a question ask
313. 57:51for help if you need it because while it might feel on the surface like asking for help is is is a sign of
314. 58:01weakness it's actually a leadership move because when you ask for help you create the space for someone else to
315. 58:10lead so it is a leadership move to ask for help it's a leadership move to generously offer your help but not
316. 58:20everyone no one right now is an expert not everyone has all the answers so there there's going to be
317. 58:26places where you know more than everyone else in this community and there's going to be places where you don't know
318. 58:30anything and someone else does my bravery and confidence has skyrocketed since joining this group yep awesome um number four is Watch past
319. 58:40meetings so every other week we have um meetings there's meet and greet meetings where we introduce ourselves and then
320. 58:48there's speaker meetings Source Camp spoke at one of our meetings the LTX team and Jason Allen he's artist that I
321. 58:57don't know if you remember this piece of art but this piece of art he entered into a an art contest at the Colorado
322. 59:03State Fair three years ago two and a half years ago or no year year and a half ago and he won it and then they
323. 59:10found out it was Ai and you know he has had a hell of a journey since then he's had death threats CU he made a pretty piece of art
324. 59:19but he didn't use the right tools so there's interesting so you can understand sort of the personality of
325. 59:25the group group watching meetings and then step five is RSP for our next event and then the last one is water cooler just jump in and
326. 59:36start chitchatting about AI the water cooler is sort of a you know no specific subject if you want to talk about AI you
327. 59:44can pop it in here into a live chat or you can create threaded discussions and then there's a community section there's
328. 59:50a showand tell area there's guilds creative guilds business guilds Tech guilds and so social impact guilds and
329. 59:57then there's even Community clubs including the AI learning lab Irregulars this group man planing is a service oh yeah that's

334. 1:01:15how do you make money with chat GPT the short answer is you don't you make money by solving people's problems
335. 1:01:26in a way that is valuable enough to them that they're willing to give you money for it you can use chat GPT to do that
336. 1:01:34faster and better and cheaper than the competition so you can use chat GPT but if you don't think about making money
337. 1:01:41with chat gbt you think about making money with how do you do something that someone else is willing to pay for it
338. 1:01:50was funny I saw on Twitter the other day I saw someone had a whole cheat sheet at the top of it it said you can make money
339. 1:01:56with chat GPT and it was a whole worksheet and I went and looked at the worksheet had nothing to do with chat
340. 1:02:03GPT it's like you can make seminars you can write books you can create a newsletter you can I'm like this is all the [ __ ] we did
341. 1:02:12before this is how we made money before it's just a different tool we're using now a different series of tools
342. 1:02:20and we're doing it faster and better and cheaper um but I think that being in a community like the AI Salon is going to be the key
343. 1:02:38to employment in the future and it won't necessarily just be the the salon it'll be any Community where
344. 1:02:54you're inter acting in a in a deep and trusted way with a group of individuals who have the aptitude to be good at
345. 1:03:08AI that if you're good at it if you've got these aptitudes like curiosity and adventure and bravery and willingness to
346. 1:03:16try and willingness to reinvent and willingness to question everything you're going to want to be around people who are like that too
347. 1:03:28you're not going to want to be around people who are sitting like this going I think AI is stupid no cuz you're going
348. 1:03:35to realize what a [ __ ] superpower it is and so you're going to want to hang out with people who have superpowers and so the AI Salon is
349. 1:03:43that it's a whole group of AI optimists that are exercising their aptitude muscles for being able to operate well
350. 1:03:58in this environment and what happens when you're in a group like that is you will gravitate towards certain people
351. 1:04:05and you'll like how they work and you'll like how they think and you'll like how they make you laugh and you like how
352. 1:04:11they're really talented but they're not an [ __ ] and then when you get hired to do something and it's a bigger job than
353. 1:04:19you can do on your own who are you going to hire someone who on LinkedIn said says they've got AI on their resume or
354. 1:04:28someone that you've been hanging out with for 6 Months 8 months 18 months and you [ __ ] love the way they
355. 1:04:37work so this is these kind of groups are where employment's going to happen maybe the salon should have a help wanted
356. 1:04:45section not half kidding next LinkedIn I no we've thought about that I think I we're in the middle right now of really
357. 1:04:53rethinking the experience and and how people navigate it and and what its purpose is and and I think having something
358. 1:05:02around employment or you know I'm working on a project and I need you know volunteer people Sweat Equity people I
359. 1:05:12got hired for a project and I've got you know I need to hire someone so I think I think having a job board in the salon is not a bad idea
360. 1:05:20actually the community helps bring me much needed interaction expanding my Joy of AI yep see unfortunately I'm pretty sure

367. 1:07:26developing your aptitude is critical as generative AI makes Knowledge and Skills instantly accessible so the tools now in my
368. 1:07:35opinion have gone from a handful of distinct tools that each did like one thing very well and a bunch of other stuff not well
369. 1:07:49or just you know to all of a sudden you have multiple options on all fronts you have multiple large language models that
370. 1:07:56are good you have multiple multi modal models that are very good you have multiple conversational models that are
371. 1:08:04very good you have many many image generation models that are quite brilliant you have many many video
372. 1:08:10things you have you have at least four or five audio things you've got 11 labs for voice synthesis you've got Synthesia did and
373. 1:08:22um what the [ __ ] it called hey Jen for digital avatars so developing your aptitude is what's next because the skills the
374. 1:08:38knowledge and the skills which is where our current value is our current value in today's society and in today's education is
375. 1:08:47around amassing Knowledge and amassing Skills and those are about to become commoditized commodified
376. 1:08:58commodified that one always screws me up and when people say it wrong I judge them but then I when I go to say it I
377. 1:09:04don't know which one it is Vicki commoditized or commodified as artificial intelligence democratizes technical
378. 1:09:19skills the landscape of living and work is about to undergo a profound transformation shifting the spotlight
379. 1:09:26from Specialists to generalists I've said in here before revenge of the liberal arts major make into a commodity thank you Silver Fox
380. 1:09:39smartass um the new age of the agile human is upon us and this dramatic shift redefines value in the workforce
381. 1:09:48elevating those with broad aptitudes creativity adaptability and critical thinking above those with deep narrow expertise that's that's
382. 1:09:59literally flipping the value Iceberg upside down commodified okay thank you thanks Vicki commodified is commoditized even a word
383. 1:10:11and does it mean something different but commodified okay I will maybe remember that right now specialty doctors make more than generalists
384. 1:10:24specialty um you know people with Masters and phds make more than people with Bas and especially Bas in in things like liberal
385. 1:10:35arts the ability to integrate diverse knowledge and adapt to New Challenges is more crucial than ever the ability to
386. 1:10:43integrate diverse knowledge to integrate think about critically thinking integrate diverse knowledge and adapt to
387. 1:10:52New Challenges becomes more crucial than ever the shift doesn't just um alter how we work it rewrites fundamental
388. 1:11:00principles of professional value and success aptitude over spe specific skills traditional traditionally
389. 1:11:07education and professional development has focused on acquiring specific skills and deep subject matter expertise
390. 1:11:15however generative Ai and large language models are reshaping this Focus emphasizing the value of aptitude such
391. 1:11:22as creativity CR critical thinking and the ability to learn and adapt in a landscape where AI handles complex tasks
392. 1:11:31with uh readily available skills from coding to content creation it is uniquely human abilities such as
393. 1:11:38curiosity critical thinking creativity judgment drive and adaptability that provide a Competitive Edge these
394. 1:11:45abilities can be encouraged taught and passed on to the next Generation so this is the stuff that I want to focus
395. 1:11:52on we'll still do stuff with tools but I want to do it through this lens what if a person what does a person
396. 1:12:01even do with a PhD listen I don't here's the thing Pate The Specialist Specialists who get good at AI are going to be better at it than
397. 1:12:15generalists but if the special well it depends not so so none of this can be you know 100% broad breast strokes but
398. 1:12:28but just think General value where things are valued if the specialty disciplines get commodified I think that's the right
399. 1:12:39word pretty sure that's the right word then from a supply and demand perspective people that can just do one
400. 1:12:50of those Specialties are going to go down in value because a lot of people are going to be able to do that
401. 1:12:55specialty and lots of other Specialties so um but Specialists will will still be better at their particular discipline
402. 1:13:04than generalists but generalists are going to be able to switch between Specialties and that skill is is not going to be um
403. 1:13:14is not going to be common because of how we value things right now so if you've got the ability to to be t-shaped is
404. 1:13:21what they would call it P where your PhD is this special and if you can be t-shaped and go across disciplines you'll be super valuable
405. 1:13:33commodified make it marketable ah commoditized similar items competing on price got it okay okay so I'm just listening now okay got
406. 1:13:48it okay okay so critical components of being an agile human one curiosity so here's here's the thing here's what I want you to think
407. 1:14:02about when I run when I read through this list of of attributes the components of of being an agile human of this
408. 1:14:12aptitude think where you are on that front and these are the things that if you're not already do if you're in this
409. 1:14:20channel a lot you're probably already doing a lot of these but as I read through these if they're feeling not
410. 1:14:26familiar to you these are places where I'd get I'd get curious and the first one is curiosity curiosity propels
411. 1:14:33individuals to explore Beyond ai's capabilities leading them to new discoveries and innovations that automated systems alone cannot achieve
412. 1:14:43this aptitude is essential for advancing ai's utility and uncovering less obvious high value applications here's what that
413. 1:14:51kind of means let's say you're a project manager and and your boss says here you have chat GPT now go do project
414. 1:14:59management [ __ ] go go make your project management better maybe there's a bunch of other things that you could do better
415. 1:15:05that are beyond your job description or maybe maybe there's things that AI can do that if you were just thinking about
416. 1:15:12automating your current tasks you actually wouldn't discover because you're not looking beyond what your current tasks are your current
417. 1:15:23tasks are going to be automated by a so start to look at what are all the get curious about what's possible that might
418. 1:15:31impact me as a project manager but might also just be interesting to me as a human because those might color things that I do in the
419. 1:15:40future second component drive drive motivates individuals to persistently engage with and influence AI developments ensuring that technology
420. 1:15:50aligns with human goals and values this aptitude is indispensable for leading AI integration and pushing the boundaries
421. 1:15:57of what AI can achieve so be curious and then be willing to push through it and figure some [ __ ] out creativity leads to
422. 1:16:04the generation of unique ideas and solutions that AI alone cannot achieve maintaining human relevance in creative
423. 1:16:11and problem-solving domains this aptitude is critical for pioneering New Uses of AI and achieving breakthroughs
424. 1:16:17across Fields critical thinking this one's [ __ ] huge critical thinking and ures that human judgment complements AI generated
425. 1:16:27outputs providing a crucial check on biases and errors this aptitude is vital for maintaining ethical standards and
426. 1:16:36making nuanced decisions that consider broader impacts discernment or taste this involves so think about taste
427. 1:16:45and discernment th this artist that I talked to tonight he said he said well what if AI generates shitty work and I
428. 1:16:55said well then you don't use that right cuz he was he was in this mindset that you just push a button and it vomits out
429. 1:17:04all this work and a lot of that work is bad well discernment or taste is saying hey I know what's good I have a point of
430. 1:17:13view here as a human and I'm going to generate some [ __ ] with this Ai and a lot of what it generates is going to be garbage and my
431. 1:17:22discernment my taste is going to be the thing that allows me to pull the gems out of the muck right discernment or taste involves evaluating
432. 1:17:32the quality and credibility of AI generated content this aptitude allows individuals to recognize the value of what's created navigating the
433. 1:17:41limitations and biases inherent in AI guiding decisions with a fine sense of value um developing discernment requires
434. 1:17:49nurturing a critical mindset and emphasizing human Centric education along Tech alongside Technical Training judgment is is critical for
435. 1:17:59professionals navigating a world increasingly influenced by AI it enables individuals to access complex situations weigh the ethical
436. 1:18:09implications and make decisions that ensure AI is employed reasonably and beneficially for society to develop
437. 1:18:16sound judgment it's essential to incorporate ethics philosophy Humanities in into education providing a framework
438. 1:18:25for understanding the broader impacts of the technology and the final one adaptability adaptability enables
439. 1:18:32professionals to continuously update their skills and approaches in response to changing AI Technologies this aptitude is key to
440. 1:18:43navigating shifts in the workplace and maintaining career longevity in an evolving digital landscape so
441. 1:18:51now imagine being the CEO of a company and you think about I need to figure out who of my employees are going to be good at AI moving
442. 1:19:04forward historically what you would do is say who's good with computers who's good with you know programming who's good with
443. 1:19:14engineering it's a skills-based approach what if you said let's throw out the skills let's let's evaluate everyone in the company
444. 1:19:25and I don't whether they're a janitor or a receptionist or a PhD you know in the mathematics group working on TPU
445. 1:19:36efficiency let's evaluate them all but rather than evaluating their skills let's evaluate them on these criteria curiosity Drive creativity
446. 1:19:49critical thinking discernment or or taste judgment and adap ability people that score high on these are going to be really good for AI and
447. 1:20:02these are the people that you should value more and you should provide extra training and you should provide them
448. 1:20:08these are the people that score high in these aptitudes for um if you're putting together an AI you know uh
449. 1:20:18counil these are the ones that should be on it and ideally they come from different disciplines this was if you were on one
450. 1:20:27of on on my um AI office hours 3 weeks ago HT snow day talked about this event he did in his company where he did a it
451. 1:20:40was like a half day AI Summit or you know whatever 30 30 or 40 people from the company came in to learn about Ai and he
452. 1:20:49did a half hour session on using chat GPT or Claude to make a game a video game and there were four rules first
453. 1:21:02rule was you've got to use generative AI second rule was it's got to be a game where stuff falls from the top of the
454. 1:21:08screen and you catch it with a paddle or whatever third rule was it's got to be done in HTML so that they could you know
455. 1:21:17play them in a browser and I forget what the fourth one was and there were different prizes like one of the prizes who got it done
456. 1:21:27fastest the guy who got it done fastest had a functional game in 2 and a half minutes and was a customer service
457. 1:21:38guy the guy that won for the best most sophisticated game was a project manager the only people who failed to create a functional
458. 1:21:51game in the half hour that was allotted were engineers because Engineers had the burden of knowing how to program
459. 1:22:05computers the other people didn't the other people just said give me a game that does this and chat GPT and Claw
460. 1:22:13just gave them a game that did that the engineers were like okay I want you to write code that generates Sprites that
461. 1:22:22that have simulate gravity falling from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen right they were they were not
462. 1:22:29prompting these large language models like human beings would they were prom prompting them like Engineers would and
463. 1:22:36as a result it failed them because they were telling it to write components and the people that didn't know what they
464. 1:22:42were doing in giant air quotes just asked it to give them a game and it did right so those people who are willing to
465. 1:22:51look at the ex exercise on its surface and just say all right give me a game that does this they did better right so
466. 1:22:59so that was an exercise that was all about you know this shift from skills to aptitude so and that cool so that I'm pretty excited about so
467. 1:23:14so that's the kind of stuff that I want to start framing our conversations in and so maybe one night we'll have a
468. 1:23:22curiosity night maybe one night we'll have a taste night right you know when we made weird Mary if you remember making weird Mary
469. 1:23:32the the song we made in sunno or yudo whever the [ __ ] we made it suo um that was a that was a a taste night
470. 1:23:42that was a discernment night right cuz we knew we wanted to make a song and then I went to chat GPT and I said come
471. 1:23:49up with 10 Concepts and I didn't like any of the concepts and I modified The Prompt and I said I said come up with 10
472. 1:23:56more and then just one of the titles was weird Mary from Cedar Hill and I was like o that one's good and then when I
473. 1:24:02read what the the plot of the song was it was even better so I'm like yeah let's do that one and then we had it write lyrics and
474. 1:24:12then some of the lyrics sucked right and we rewrote them and it was this collaborative back and forth but it was
475. 1:24:17a discernment thing was a taste thing to go can we get these lines right and then we went to Sun Ando made what was it eight shitty songs 12
476. 1:24:28shitty songs and then one of the songs it made was the one that was like Oh it sounded kind of like this funky ass Tom Petty kind of
477. 1:24:39vibe and within 2 hours we had a song that was really good we made a little video so so I think we'll start
478. 1:24:52exploring that and then I I think also talking about you know if you work for a small company or a big company you know how is that
479. 1:25:03company interacting with this new reality most companies right now are not thinking about this [ __ ] at all not at all not at
480. 1:25:17all so do you want to be in a here we put this up here so rise of the agile

490. 1:27:06it's you know it's not just a one company game anymore it's it's now five or six or eight major companies and then probably 30 or 40 minor

494. 1:27:57historically it's been a lot about tools here's a new tool here's a new this here's a new that of late I've not been making as
495. 1:28:06much content and I've been a little unfocused as to what this is about and so I had an epiphany today that what this is about
496. 1:28:19is accepting that generative AI tools right now are so so good that you can pretty much use any of the big names that you've heard out
497. 1:28:29there and get a tremendous amount of value out of it so there's some skills to learn in learning how to use those
498. 1:28:36tools but more important than any individual tool are the aptitudes the the ways of being the ways of interacting with
499. 1:28:46AI that are going to make you really good at it and that's things like curiosity and adaptability and um the
500. 1:28:55ability to discern and have taste um the ability to think critically um and so so having conversations in this channel is is going
501. 1:29:09to is going to start focusing around that like how do you be a good AI practitioner um rather than here are the here's the prompt
502. 1:29:23engineering you know here's the prompt engineering methodology it's called whack and it stands for whatever that acronym is
503. 1:29:34right and then this is exactly how you prompt and you know treating AI like like you have to get a [ __ ] bachelor's degree in prompt
504. 1:29:44engineering is 100% the wrong approach in my opinion thinking about AI from a human standpoint like well what is
505. 1:29:58what what even is it well have you had your first Kevin McAllister moment yet if you haven't used chat GPT long enough and deeply
506. 1:30:12enough that that you've haven't had that moment where you're like oh my God it can do that you haven't used it enough
507. 1:30:25the only way you can get to that is to be coming at it from a place of curiosity and play and willingness to
508. 1:30:31like try something try something different play with something different be brave you know have have the drive to be
509. 1:30:41willing to go okay I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm going to feel like a dumb dumb long enough to figure this out and you
510. 1:30:47go oh that's not so bad Mr it is grateful thank you that's awesome um luckily my manager is neuros spicy

512. 1:31:18old um I I would start with chat GPT just go to chat gp.com right now and start
513. 1:31:34playing and the playing you're like well I don't what but I don't even know what playing means what do you mean I mean
514. 1:31:42like what are you interested what's a hobby of yours do you like flowers do you like baking go ask chat GPT to give you the history of
515. 1:31:59yeast or have it have it explain how the different components in baking do what they do haveen it explained the difference
516. 1:32:11between baking soda and baking powder I've never figured that [ __ ] out half a teaspoon of baking soda and a
517. 1:32:19teaspoon of baking powder really who [ __ ] figured that out have it write you a recipe with take a picture take a picture of the [ __ ] in
518. 1:32:34your fridge upload it to chat GPT and say make me a recipe with with the stuff you see in here have it write you a
519. 1:32:45poem about the kind of dog you have and how much you love that dog have it write you a children's book and and make the

527. 1:34:03of a a fun and interesting way let's see the the other thing I'm going to do right now is I'm going to I'm going to
528. 1:34:16write what I would consider to be a really bad prompt because it's too complicated I'm going to do it on
529. 1:34:22purpose because your third one this week Kyle I know chat jpt used to be really bad at doing multi-step instructions and
530. 1:34:32in the past week or two it's gotten really good at it um so let's see the the other thing to know CD CD Legacy
531. 1:34:44is if one of your fears is oh I'm not very technical um chat jpt the unlock that chat GPT gave to the world is that you don't need
532. 1:34:59to know anything about AI you don't need to know anything about Vector databases or embeddings or mathematical weights or
533. 1:35:06probability engines or any of that [ __ ] you just need to say words you just need to ask for what you want and you ask for
534. 1:35:14it in a very human way so I'm going to give I'm going to create a prompt right now that's just a big vomit of ideas and
535. 1:35:21words and then we'll see how does I want you to act as a an award-winning children's book author and I want you to think
536. 1:35:38about 10 different story ideas that 8 to 12y olds will enjoy that explore the relationship
537. 1:35:53between the cosmos and dreaming period so first start out and create 10 Concepts and then I want you to choose
538. 1:36:10the three concepts you feel are the strongest and tell me why you think they're the best period Then I want you to create a
539. 1:36:26cover art for each of those three ideas and then after you create the covers I want you to choose one of the books and write an
540. 1:36:39outline and then after you write the outline I want you to write the copy for each of 10 pages that make up the book
541. 1:36:54and then I want you to create an image for each page all in the same artistic style and all
542. 1:37:13featuring a magical light bulb period okay there's a really shitty prompt there was an error generating

554. 1:39:16a conversation with the world's best educated intern that has zero life experience right so have you ever met
555. 1:39:27people like that they're incredibly well educated but they're totally [ __ ] clueless that's what chat GPT is and so
556. 1:39:34if you if you understand that about it you can literally just start talking to it like you're on a conference call with
557. 1:39:40your new intern that you have to tell everything to but they're incredibly well educated all right here's the page copy so page

572. 1:42:48them yeah it's it it's absolutely staggering what what Chachi B can do like you don't have to go be you could
573. 1:42:55spend the next month doing nothing but chat GPT and just have Kevin mallister moment after Kevin mallister moment and you'll
574. 1:43:07start to you'll start to understand why people are so excited about this Excel files too yeah we like to keep you a regular

586. 1:45:09whiteboard it's not just me understanding it chat GPT understands it so now I can say write me a creative brief for how we
587. 1:45:19would create an in airport marketing plan to make Travelers aware of this exciting new
588. 1:45:35app and that was even a shitty prompt because I asked for a creative brief and a marketing plan in the same prompt it
589. 1:45:41doesn't care it'll figure it out so project name flight bite in airport marketing campaign oh that's great so so it did that I'm not even
590. 1:45:53going to read it it's still going great fantastic I'm going to go um based on that marketing plan I'd like
591. 1:46:02you to come up with 20 possible names for the app and then out of those 20 names I want you to select the top five
592. 1:46:10and tell me why you think they're the strongest so just like we did with the children's book we can have it start to do some of the
593. 1:46:19reasoning so there's the 20 names it's selected jet eats Gate Gourmet fly bite Arrow eats and boarding bite
594. 1:46:33uh Jetty it's Gate Gourmet let's go with Gate Gourmet let's go with Gate Gourmet and now I'd like you to write me a creative brief for a

602. 1:48:33help it will help it will help it's good at um it's good at not only generating stuff like this but if you've got stuff
603. 1:48:46already written out even if you've got stuff in handwritten notes take pictures of those notes upload those
604. 1:48:53it can make sense of those it's really good at analyzing existing stuff if you've got existing ideas or you can
605. 1:49:00just tell it act like a business consultant act like a marketing consultant here's a way to do it CD and anyone else here who's new to
606. 1:49:09this give chat GPT a role tell it you want it to act a certain way you want it to act like a business Expert right who
607. 1:49:17specializes in rural business um startup you know success or what like it literally doesn't matter and then it
608. 1:49:26will start acting like that and then just start giving it as much context as you can if you can turn on the The Voice
609. 1:49:34to typing feature on your computer like on the Mac you it's called dictation and you find it under accessibility you can just turn it on
610. 1:49:43and you can just talk into it or you can use the chat GPT app here let me show you another thing so if you download the
611. 1:49:51iOS app or the Android app for chat GPT you get your little prompt history down the side you get your thing here
612. 1:50:05but on the app there's these little headphones I can put this into conversation mode hey there I want you to act as a
613. 1:50:16small business consultant and help me get a business idea off the ground for a rural area response count one idea exploration
614. 1:50:31August 24th 2024 great let's kick things off by understanding a bit more about the rural area you're targeting could
615. 1:50:38you tell me about the community its needs and what resources are available also do you have any specific industry
616. 1:50:46or type of business in mind or are you open to different ideas it's a small 20,000 person Town um without a lot of big retail stores near

621. 1:51:38I've got to develop this idea and so in my car on my Bluetooth you know talkie thing I'll put chat GPT into
622. 1:51:48conversation mode and then I just talk to it the whole way to work uh oh I've got this idea and it'll it'll
623. 1:51:55respond and I say you know give me give me some more ideas and come up with a name and we'll just go back and forth
624. 1:52:01while I'm driving to work and then when I get to work I log into chat GPT and there's my prompt and I click on that
625. 1:52:07prompt and there's the entire conversation that I had with it with all of its ideas it's [ __ ] Bonkers it's it's stupid how powerful it is
626. 1:52:25and the only thing I can tell you is push it push it beyond what you think is possible for it to do and it will likely
627. 1:52:37surprise you and it will like if you're if you're brand brand new to this [ __ ] it will likely be a series of Kevin mallister
628. 1:52:45moments it can do that that fast how's that possible you have three of those you have three of those you can't come back from it you
629. 1:52:59can't you can't help but being like this changes everything because this changes everything oh [ __ ] I need this I drive
630. 1:53:11and think a lot yes so download okay CD right now don't think about it okay remember in our attributes one of
631. 1:53:20them was curiosity the next one was drive so I want you to right now go to the App Store if you're on iOS or Google

637. 1:54:11get it set up on your computer on your laptop or your desktop so you have a web version of it and then you have your mobile version of
638. 1:54:19it and then the mobile version of it to get it into that conversation mode it's the little headphones to the right of the prompt

670. 2:01:02called Deco here where it literally just rains images you don't have to prompt it at all if you see an image you like you can
671. 2:01:11click on it and say I want to see a station inspired by that one image and it'll just start raining images based on the image that you like
672. 2:01:22liked so there there are models out there right now where how you interact with it is is very intuitive and passive
673. 2:01:32and there are other tools like LTX Studio where it'll do all this work for you but it's very very intentional and
674. 2:01:38you're building all these component parts and there's got all these flips and switches and dials that you can do all this
675. 2:01:44control and there's everything in between and so our ability to collectively Inspire one another to push our boundaries and explore and be
676. 2:01:56curious and be Discerning and think critically and be willing to say oh that one's brilliant but it's really bad at
677. 2:02:04this and that one's okay but it's really brilliant at that that kind of thinking and engagement is going to be the skill of the
