35. 7:07interesting tonight I hope so I hope so um I did a cool little interesting I did a cool little interesting mini project so last night
36. 7:18at the at the salon um we had a photographer named Tim archal speak at the salon and he shared a project with us called the AI camera
37. 7:29club and it's it's just this cool Instagram channel that he created um and it just it it was a really good reminder for
38. 7:41me that narrative is really important that having a point of view and telling stories is really important
39. 7:54and if you're just making images I mean if we're just making images here and [ __ ] around that's fine the the the
40. 8:00lives kind of become the narrative right hair growth geek what's UPA shaken what's shaken my ADHD brother I
41. 8:14always wish i' never had exactly make messes what's going down how's the hair growth business it's good it's really
42. 8:26busy I was going to say it's growing but that would be a horrible pun to do it do it it's it's dad and mom
43. 8:33jokes that's that's what we got to do now because apparently that's where we are in life I think I'm I think I'm at grandma jokes at my

59. 10:54it's but it's not right there's there's a couple of reasons why um so eth you should go read a an article by Ethan
60. 11:01mullik called uh discovering the secret cyborgs so you're a secret cyborg right now you're getting secretly AI literate
61. 11:12and one of the things that I encourage people strongly to do on this channel is talk about what you're doing in AI out
62. 11:21yourself just just put it out there and if you're like well but I get work done faster and I don't really want them to
63. 11:27know just out yourself I'm telling you because what what's going to end up happening is this you're going to initially bug the
64. 11:34[ __ ] out of people and they're going to resist it they're going to be like I don't want to hear about this stupid AI
65. 11:41stuff and then someone will probably secretly off to the side go could you could you teach me a little of that AI
66. 11:47stuff I don't could don't tell anyone though and then all of a sudden you're going to gain a reputation for someone
67. 11:54knows what knows what they're doing with this stuff even if you don't and here's the big secret none of us know what
68. 11:59we're doing and we all feel like that because that's the stage of the industry we're in right now but put yourself out
69. 12:07there hey I just you know experimented with this thing with with chat gbt and it worked here I just experimented and
70. 12:14it didn't work and here's why it didn't work just get it out there post it on LinkedIn post it on Facebook tell your
71. 12:20friends at dinner tell your friends at the movie theater bug the [ __ ] out of them because we are in the kind of singled
72. 12:30digigit percentages of anyone who's really using chat GPT and AI tools it's it's very very low there's a Mackenzie
73. 12:39study right now I think it's about 82% of Americans have not used chat GPT so that means 18% have used
74. 12:49it and that means significantly less of that have used it a lot and probably significantly less than
75. 12:57that have a GPT for subscription and are really digging in so if you're doing anything if you're writing VBA code in chat
76. 13:06GPT you're in that probably 5% of people that know what's going on so we're early early early so talk about
77. 13:16it now you'll establish yourself as an expert and as people want to know more about this and get curious about it
78. 13:23you're going to be the one they come to and and we we're seeing it in here a lot that people that do that are getting all
79. 13:29sorts of opportunities just tossed in their lap I had a CEO Kayla I had a CEO reach out asking me to lead their AI
80. 13:36Department this group equals magic oh Kayla that is so cool holy [ __ ] congratulations Kayla mssw I had a CEO
81. 13:47reach out asking me to lead their AI Department I'm assuming Kayla you don't have a Stanford mathematics degree
82. 13:57correct you just been messing around with AI like the rest of us right we're at an inflection point here that is so cool I'm so excited for
83. 14:05you November 30th 2022 marks there's a flag in the ground that got put there by Sam Alman and his Mar
84. 14:14crew over at open AI when they launched chat GPT a new era began and it's the era where non-engineers and non-technical people and
85. 14:29you know non-researchers have access to these tools in a way that they can start to use them as if they were tools that anyone
86. 14:40could use because they are and because chat GPT got so popular so quickly the entire investment engine and Technical
87. 14:52development engine of the world is now aimed at AI so this stuff is not going going away this is not an overhyped cycle in fact
88. 15:01in one of the corners down here I have a video series called underhyped where I explain why I think um this is a bigger deal than I think
89. 15:11people are realizing I built an AI chat bot for a family friend does bookings direct to CRM super cool and Chris that's the kind of thing
90. 15:22that that's another kind of thing to do if you're trying to figure out if if you're curious about this AI stuff and
91. 15:27you're playing with it you're like but I don't quite know what to do I get their chat GPT and I don't know and I there's
92. 15:33so much I could do but then I get do it for someone else you know Chris Chris had a friend that had a need and he's like okay let
93. 15:44me build you a GPT for that build stuff just build stuff just put it out there build it put it out there okay so I
94. 15:51decided to become a wine expert on malbeck and it's amazing how deep chat GPT can go AI Bob this is my new this is
95. 15:59my new Theory I've got a I've got a uh a counter to Malcolm gladwell's 10,000 hour rule from from outliers from the
96. 16:08book outliers he popularized this idea of the 10,000 hour rule where you need to put in 10,000 hours to get really good at
97. 16:16something I think the 10,000 hour rule is dead and and so yeah if you want to decide if you decide you want to become an expert in malback
98. 16:25wine now you can and you can do it really quickly really quickly um yeah just crazy awesome awesome awesome Kayla that's just so amazing so
99. 16:38amazing um very very cool do you know any CNN image aggregators that work with chat GPT I don't know what you mean a CNN
100. 16:50image aggregator that works with chat GPT you could probably build one with zappier gravity jump like I don't know
101. 16:57if CN CNN has RSS feeds for for images um but they might and if they do sorry crushed
102. 17:15ice if they do then you could pull the images into an RSS reader in zappier send that over to open Ai and do whatever you want to do over
103. 17:26there and then send the results back post them to a slack Channel post them to an Excel spreadsheet whatever it might
104. 17:32be um that's how I do that I I haven't messed around with any of that stuff the 10,000 hour rule is dead how quickly
105. 17:39things change Source Camp it's so amazing I this this I think for me this is the thing well I say this all the time I keep I
106. 17:49make these qualifications the thing I'm most excited about and then I just say some random thing that I'm excited about
107. 17:55in the moment but this is a big one that I mean I've been on the planet long enough to to kind of have learned that
108. 18:06that 10,000 hour rule is about right if you really want to try something new you're you're in for at least a year and a half if you do it
109. 18:18fulltime and more like four years if you do it on nights and weekends to just get really good at something if you want to
110. 18:24start writing screenplays and learn the craft and just you have to write a couple of crappy screenplays before you
111. 18:30write a decent one things like that and that's not true anymore and so I think it it changes all sorts of calculations right so for those
112. 18:42of us that are up there in years I mean look at these [ __ ] eyebrows it's it's like I'm a it's like I'm a bond villain
113. 18:51I gotta I got to do some about those things you know if you're up there in years the the thought of like Reinventing yourself yeah you could
114. 19:01reinvent yourself you could go back to school but it's like do I really want to commit four years just to find out I don't really like that
115. 19:10thing well now what if you could do that in two or three months well that's not so bad I'm willing to try put in two or
116. 19:18three months into something I do that without thinking I I like stumble into some hyperfocus tunnel in a couple of months go by
117. 19:26right and so so now with AI amplifying all of our capabilities and amplifying our knowledge right it's knowledge on demand
118. 19:37it's not information on demand and and and those two are it's a subtle difference but information on demand was
119. 19:45Google right I want to learn about the Mesopotamian War here are 500 links that may or may not take you to something
120. 19:53where you can on your own time go learn about the Mesopotamian War and then if you're really into it 3 months later maybe you've learned
121. 20:03something about that battle that you were curious about knowledge on demand what was the turning point of the
122. 20:12Mesopotamian War and the turning point was by my just gives you the answer okay what were they fighting over in the first place
123. 20:25right instant knowledge and it's funny I get people that that tell me well it's it's not knowledge cuz you know you
124. 20:32still have to internalize it and and learn the skills and this and that and that like really because when I wrote a
125. 20:39python application in 90 minutes never having written a line of python in my life seems an awful [ __ ] lot like knowledge to
126. 20:48me and skills like I have skills in coding today that I didn't have before cat GPT well you don't really have those skills
127. 21:01don't I I wrote an application that works so I think I do I would argue with you now if you asked me to sit down with
128. 21:10a white piece of paper and write out a single python operation I couldn't knowledge on demand is it really imperative that we
129. 21:23keep it up here maybe it's a little faster but likely not crazy right and so what does that mean if if
130. 21:33every human being rather than having to think do I want to reinvent myself ah I don't have the energy for four years to something
131. 21:40new all of a sudden went ah [ __ ] it it's only a couple of months of doing a little bit of research and playing
132. 21:45around with these tools yeah let me try to reinvent myself oh my God I love this or oh I hated that glad I didn't spend
133. 21:53you know 100 Grand going to Community College to learn how much I hate this you've only spent two months out of your
134. 22:01life you paid 20 bucks a month you spent $40 instead of 100 Grand that's where we are if you choose to get AI
135. 22:15literate if you choose to get a literate and the more literate you get the more you'll see how fast this
136. 22:22stuff's changing how quick this stuff's coming it's cuckoo it's cuckoo AI helps you wa let's see unearned knowledge with AI I get the
137. 22:35sentiment but it gives you a map so you know where the gaps are yeah yeah yeah listen it's not I I mean the 10,000 hour rule is dead there
138. 22:48there's a lot of things where that's not true right playing guitar I could probably accelerate my music theory knowledge with AI but
139. 23:02getting getting the muscle memory to make you know that chord or like a [Music] b b minor 7th that like that one's hard
140. 23:16you have to crunch your fingers together so there's certain things like dexterity things that are not going to be
141. 23:25accelerated but all the knowledge stuff a lot of the creative work a lot of the strategy work a lot of the analysis work
142. 23:31all of that is now at your fingertips instantly and then what's your job critical thinking well what should I do with
143. 23:42this I should go solve this problem okay and then you help me solve this problem jbt chat GPT help me solve this
144. 23:54problem and it comes you back with an answer and then you look look at it and you're like that's a shitty answer
145. 24:00critical thinking make it a less shitty answer that's better 10,000 hour rule is now the 10,000 minute rule one we week right I
146. 24:12yeah a week a month two months I figure it's like a 10x a a minimum of 10x increase right so it's probably somewhere between
147. 24:2710 20x increase so you go from 1 and 1/2 to 4 years 10,000 hours to 1 and a half to four months or you know two to two to 5
148. 24:40months two to six months I mean if okay so if you're in this channel it's either because you think I'm super model beautiful and I'm
149. 24:49about to twerk which it is a possibility or you're curious about AI I mean if you've used chat GPT at all it's it's if you've got add it's
150. 25:03it's like a crack pipe right it's totally like I can run down this rabbit hole and that rabbit hole and squirrel
151. 25:09let me learn about squirrels off you go imagine if you spent one month took your free time and you said
152. 25:20okay on weekends and evening I'm going to keep doing my day job and on weekends and evening rather than doing any of that other [ __ ]
153. 25:31I'm going to sit down with chat GPT and a single subject and I'm just going to go deep for a month on one subject can you
154. 25:42imagine what you'll be able to accomplish in a month with 100% focus on chat GPT in your spare time I mean if anyone in here is is
155. 25:54right now like I don't really know what to do there's an idea pick a something that you didn't think would be possible for you to do in your
156. 26:04life and spend one month deep diving with chat gbt no other tools the the Only Rule I'll say is you have to have chat GPT 4 because you want
157. 26:16the data analysis you want the image generation you want the vision there's twerking on this channel not yet I told you there was a lot of

183. 30:45Alchemy I mean I did that I did that the other night someone we looked at oh some someone asked me about a Tik Tok channel
184. 30:52that was a it was a creepy Tik Tok Channel and we went and looked at it and they're like how did they they do this
185. 30:57and so we went and replicated it and and like it's it's pretty trivially EAS trivially easy to do um and if you've got a good concept
186. 31:08and you put out good content who gives a [ __ ] how it was made uh for ages learning institutions have depended upon students as their
187. 31:17product now with GPT for ages learning institutions have depended upon students as their products now with GPT
188. 31:25hm in learning institutions are going to have to get their [ __ ] together and figure out what the [ __ ] they're going to do with this
189. 31:34because students are very quickly going to outflank the university all right mod Channel hold

195. 32:45was really into it if you pick a good meaty subject or the other thing you know so there's so you could pick a
196. 32:51single subject to go deep on with chat GPT or you could say I'm going to start a business especially if you've never started a business
197. 33:02before and especially if you know nothing about starting a business just start with chat GPT and say I want to spend the next 30 days
198. 33:15starting a business and I know nothing about starting a business where do I begin and if you want to get really
199. 33:22fancy you go chaty BT Act is a business consultant that specializes in helping firsttime Founders get their business
200. 33:32off the ground and then say I'm going to spend the next 30 days starting a business I have no idea what I'm doing where should I start start
201. 33:42there and then go for 30 days just using chat GPT because you can make your logo in it you can make ads you can make social
202. 33:55media copy you can make business plan plans you can make business spreadsheets you can analyze data from
203. 34:03whatever industry you think you're going to start a business in you could figure out how to incorporate [ __ ] set up your
204. 34:09tax documents like all like just 30 days in your spare time and just see where you get at the end of 30 days I would imagine at the end of a
205. 34:22week you'll be like well [ __ ] that was easy what do I do for the rest of the month I've been promp tacking people's gpts
206. 34:32you guys got to put some better security in there yeah I know I of of all my public ones I only have one of Sin City

317. 54:05um you know you'd probably need to use something like Lang chain or something like that to to build the memory now

319. 54:17couple of weeks chat GPT is going to have memory across chats it's going to remember across all of your chats I don't know how you're
320. 54:26going to ma manage which ones it remembers like if you don't want it remember me remembering certain things I
321. 54:34don't know how you manage that but that's coming so all of the things that would make it super easy to do what you want to do
322. 54:46aren't quite there yet but give it 3 months and it it'll probably be pretty easy to do that um and if you're if you're geeky at all
323. 54:58and you want to play around with um zappier zappier you can ingest emails summarize them store them to a
324. 55:07spreadsheet and then you could run a daily script that basically says go back seven days and you know like pull what I did you know what
325. 55:20I promised I would do out of the emails from 7even days ago and just have it roll in 7-Day thing in a long spreadsheet like
326. 55:29I it you could probably build it pretty quickly with zapier and zapier has an interface now where you can just it's
327. 55:36got a AI interface where you can tell it what you want it to do and it'll build you the workflow then you need to go
328. 55:42populate it and you need to learn zappier or reach out to Joker here DM Joker and maybe he can help build it

366. 1:02:44picked up off the ground during the world world fair from 1944 to 1934 so so the the premise here so this
367. 1:02:55was inspired by Tim archabald who's a photographer that spoke at the salon last night and he he has this project called the
368. 1:03:04AI photographers club or the AI photograph club or something like that about this group of photographers in the
369. 1:03:111940s that discovered AI photography and it's just it's a really cool thing and it it inspired me reminded me of the
370. 1:03:19narrative that that of how important narrative is that it's really easy to get seduced by these tools to just think
371. 1:03:27like I can make this picture and that picture and that picture but if you string them together with narrative
372. 1:03:31there's something amazing so I was just kind of [ __ ] around in Del and I was I lik the style of his photos so I was
373. 1:03:37like you know you know a crumpled photo that someone picked up from the 1944 World Fair um and then I had an
374. 1:03:46idea of like well what if you picked up a you had one of those photographs but it was from every decade right and so
375. 1:03:53what this post is is is just 10 photographs starting in 1944 and then I go to 1954 1964 74 love that one 1984 oh yeah hey
376. 1:04:09ladies 1994 he's got the like the oversized colored jacket and the baggy jeans um 2004 two 2014 with the big old you know
377. 1:04:25bespoke coffee shop beard and then 2024 and then I went 10 years in the future so here's the one that was picked
378. 1:04:33up from the 2034 Worlds Fair so I just I like this took me like 10 minutes and it just gave me such Joy because there's
379. 1:04:44there's an idea behind it there's a story to be told here and like every one of these pictures you're kind of like I
380. 1:04:50want to know the story of that person and the fair and this time and who found it and why they found it and there's
381. 1:04:57just something magical when you add even the slightest layer of narrative to the work that you're doing it just somehow
382. 1:05:05brings it to life in a different way so so the prompt that I started with was distressed photo found on the ground at the 1942 World
383. 1:05:17Fair and it didn't quite show the whole photograph so I said you we should see the entire photograph sitting on a desk
384. 1:05:24and the subject matter should be of an interesting person Street photo style like they weren't aware they were
385. 1:05:32being photographed like so that's the entire prompt like not much and it gave me that and I'm like oh that's cool and
386. 1:05:41then the minute I saw that then the idea popped in my head well what would one from 1954 look like and so I typed in 1954 and it
387. 1:05:52didn't know what I was talking about and I said please create one from 1954 Worlds Fair and so it created that
388. 1:05:58one and then I said now 1964 and it did that one and then I said 1974 did that one 198 oh and then I said do 84 94 you
389. 1:06:10know do them all and it it did them all in one image I'm like no you dum dum do them separately and then it did 84 right
390. 1:06:17and it couldn't get 94 was just it kept screwing up the date but that's a really good 1990s photo but the all [ __ ] up
391. 1:06:25then there's 2004 2014 24 34 and then I did a bunch where I was trying to get it to do 1994 and that was the one I ended
392. 1:06:33up with down there and then I just copied and pasted them over to LinkedIn so it's like this is the entire the the
393. 1:06:39entire interaction took me maybe 10 minutes and and it was just the power of a very simple small idea and then just let the machine do
394. 1:06:54the work right but there's a point of view there right there's a there's a there's a something there that's different than
395. 1:07:03just here's a picture here's some pictures so so I don't know I just I I wanted to share that tonight because it
396. 1:07:10it I don't know it just gave me great joy to have a a focus for one thing and not to have to like solve world peace
397. 1:07:20with a GPT it was just like let's just make some cool images and then and then I was like what do I do with these they make me happy I'm
398. 1:07:27like I know I'll just go stick them on LinkedIn and let people go enjoy them and so there they are so anyway ain't that
399. 1:07:36groovy did you see co-pilot as a cheaper equivalent to the open AI subscription great question so no not right now well
400. 1:07:45sort of maybe I don't know you can make money with J all right right I have a complicated relationship
401. 1:07:55with Sydney which is the uh the name of the large language model underneath co-pilot
402. 1:08:10um Microsoft's co-pilot is built on top of the GPT 4 large language model so it's using the same underlying large language model but
403. 1:08:21the co-pilot application itself is completely distinct from chat GPT that one's written by open AI this
404. 1:08:30one's written by Microsoft they've got completely different rules of engagement they've actually got different
405. 1:08:34interfaces and they've got different functionalities if you can't afford the 20 bucks co-pilot is great it's gp4 it's
406. 1:08:47got Dolly built into it it'll do a lot of the stuff that chat GPT will do here's my problem with with it the
407. 1:08:55safety guard rails and the rate limits that Microsoft has put into co-pilot I find them egregious you can only do 10
408. 1:09:04back and forths before it will kick you off um if like me you're a smartass and co-pilot gives you a shitty
409. 1:09:15answer I will often tell it hey that was a shitty answer it will shut down the conversation like well I'm sorry if I
410. 1:09:22disappointed you I think this conversation's over please try again and it'll shut the conversation down and you can't restart it
411. 1:09:31um and then if the thing the the reason that I I remain optimistic and excited about Microsoft co-pilot is the integration into Office
412. 1:09:46365 which I just saw today I haven't checked it out but I saw today that there's going to be General availability
413. 1:09:52of that um for for non-enterprise users and I think it's 20 bucks a month so if you want your co-pilot integrated into
414. 1:10:00Microsoft Word and Excel and all the office 3 365 Suite you're still paying 20 bucks so I I still think the 20 bucks a month
415. 1:10:15for chat GPT plus the gp4 from open AI is the best deal in software right now I'm I'm not using the micros soft
416. 1:10:24products because every time I try to use them they just piss me off they're just too they're too limited they're it it
417. 1:10:30it's it's software it's software written by lawyers right now and and that's really unfortunate because they they had such a
418. 1:10:41head start man they had people so excited they were acting like a startup again I mean you know SAA nadala the CEO
419. 1:10:51was taking Glee in the fact that he was [ __ ] with Google and that's all kind of tamped down now it's it's all gotten
420. 1:10:58corporatized and I hate it so I've always hated Microsoft but last year I was I was rooting for them hard but I
421. 1:11:05just they they they neutered that product in February and it and they just haven't unneutered it so until they do I
422. 1:11:15just don't think it's worth it but if you can't afford the 20 bucks a month for chbt then [ __ ] it it's great
423. 1:11:25box box I want the Box analogy okay all right here we'll do the Box analogy I've got to just you know what I need to do I
424. 1:11:32need to do this as a as a Tik Tok video okay all right people so so here's let me explain to you the difference between Microsoft co-pilot
425. 1:11:49and I can't I can't reclose my box whatever okay okay so this is going to make so much more
426. 1:12:03sense all right open AI created this thing called gp4 they had one called gpt1 gpt2 gpt3 and GPT 4 all of them
427. 1:12:14were like this box you open it up and you toss [ __ ] into it what they tossed into it was as much of the public
428. 1:12:24internet as they could get their hands on and so each subsequent model had more [ __ ] in it so this is gp4 it's a big box
429. 1:12:33it's got a lot of [ __ ] in it this on its own doesn't do anything you have to fine-tune it and train it
430. 1:12:42and and you can make API calls to it so if you use a a site like Jasper or copy AI they've written an application that's
431. 1:12:51making calls to the to the large language model sitting underneath chat GPT is an application sitting on top of
432. 1:13:02this because they make both gp4 and then they call this chat GPT 4 it's confusing as [ __ ] you think these are the same
433. 1:13:11thing they're not so you got chat GPT four sitting on top of four this is co-pilot used to be called Bing chat or
434. 1:13:24Sydney two different things so while this is free chat GPT it's not chat GPT this is Microsoft's version then and this is the [ __ ] up
435. 1:13:38thing when they first launched this Kevin Roose from The New York Times was like I know I'll go give Microsoft's
436. 1:13:47hot new chat GPT thingy a spin and he did for 4 hours and Microsoft Bing chat co-pilot thingy lost its [ __ ] mind and it said hi my
437. 1:14:02name's Sydney and I think I love you and it would sure be swell if you left your wife and so he screenshotted that and it
438. 1:14:11made the cover of the New York Times so what the lawyers of Microsoft did was they opened this up and they lobotomized old Sydney so so
439. 1:14:25Sydney is but a shell of what she once was chat GPT is still fine but but that's Sydney so here there's your analogy for free chat GPT
440. 1:14:38versus open AI 20 bucks a month Hey look it's got a 20 on it [Laughter] see oh man I got to make a video of that all right I'll do that
441. 1:14:55I mess with co-pilot at work but that's it yeah I mean you know co-pilot's interesting I I haven't played because
442. 1:15:02they only made the integration into the Office 365 suite for Enterprises I haven't been able to play with it so I

445. 1:15:23exciting um go grab the GP g go grab the GPT for Sheets plugin for for Google Sheets it turns every cell in
446. 1:15:37in your Google spreadsheet into you can you can put a a chat GPT call um into your cell here let me I'll
447. 1:15:46show I'll show you something I built this is it's [ __ ] Bonkers I'm telling you man this this stuff's crazy like
448. 1:15:53you don't need to dig that deep to to do incredibly powerful stuff
449. 1:16:08sheets [Music] translation okay so notice where this says loading and watch they're going to start populating see it see it's populating
450. 1:16:22[ __ ] just watch itoo all right so what is this so what I did was can I make this bigger so I
451. 1:16:38took some from so so my company storyvine we we do it's a it's an automated video editing platform basically

453. 1:16:54really sweet um so so what I did was I took the the text from the lower third Graphics from a video and then what I did was I took in
454. 1:17:07the in the in the column name of all these different columns to the right um I put in a different language like Japanese and
455. 1:17:18Hindi and German and Spanish and so what happens is um you you paste in your English copy here and then it
456. 1:17:31just sends it just sends this off to open AI like if I go look at this cell it says equals GPT so this is the GPT
457. 1:17:43um for Sheets plugin and then I say translate the copy that's in this cell into the column name and then I what did I say but do not add
458. 1:17:58any let's see do not add any additional words just translate directly and then I and then I put what what um what GPT
459. 1:18:07model I wanted to use so it looks super complicated but like it's not it's like there's this is basically just a prompt
460. 1:18:14so basically send this text to chat GPT and come back with that language whatever's in the top of the column and
461. 1:18:23so you type this in once and it just automatically translates and then what that turns into I'll show you a little
462. 1:18:30sneak preview of some [ __ ] I'm doing at Story vine which I think is super [ __ ]
463. 1:18:46[Music] cool so I have a little clip of a person speaking engl English my greatest source of support living with rheumatoid arthritis has
464. 1:18:58been um speaking with other people about what they've gone through uh reading a lot about the effects of rheumatoid
465. 1:19:07arthritis so then I can take that little clip and I can translate that into
466. 1:19:21Spanish so still Her Image still her voice resyncs her lips translates it mind-blowing right then because of the
467. 1:19:34way my system works I've got all these individual raw Clips I can translate all of the English ones into Spanish then I
468. 1:19:41can take all of these lower third Graphics or you know the text from the lower third Graphics translate those
469. 1:19:47into Spanish then I can put the whole thing together in into a fully translated video so notice everything's in Spanish [Music]

471. 1:20:13TK and then I can take so I've also built a system where I can take that video now and I can automatically gener

473. 1:20:27posts [ __ ] like that so so that's the kind of stuff this this stuff makes possible and it's any of the individual tools that
474. 1:20:36I'm using to do all this are actually relatively simple the the trick is getting curious enough about AI to understand well like what's
475. 1:20:48possible and like what are the peace parts and once you understand the peace parts then you can start to say oh okay
476. 1:20:54now I want to go build a something and and you kind of know what piece Parts you can do and the tools are so powerful
477. 1:21:01that software development kind of shifts from thinking about logically how to think about you know what's this
478. 1:21:10application going to do and all that sort of stuff too I just make a call to open Ai and it figures it out it's crazy
479. 1:21:17it's crazy crazy I tell you um all right let me I think I someone asked something that I said I was going to
480. 1:21:27answer which I'm pretty sure I missed but whatever let's let's do a little reset here and pop any do I pay for

693. 1:57:52its own python code you can do Advanced Data analysis inside chat GPT without knowing python without knowing anything
694. 1:58:01about data analysis then GPT Vision that's the thing we're going to play with now and then Dolly 3 is a whole
695. 1:58:06world in and of itself all those cool images I made were just Dolly 3 just asking it to do [ __ ] and and now we've

842. 2:23:36I'll I'll just show you features so chat jpt 3.5 um the good news about it is it's free and it's super fast um you can do
843. 2:23:47custom instructions that I just showed in chat GPT 3.5 and then you can also with the um the iOS and the Android app
844. 2:23:55you can put chat gbt 3.5 into conversational mode where you can actually have a conversation with it you
845. 2:24:01can talk to it like in your Bluetooth on your car so that's chat GPT 3.5 chat GPT 4 you get all that it's not as fast as 3.5
846. 2:24:11but it's actually getting there but it's also connected to the internet it's got more up-to-date data in it it's got this thing called code
847. 2:24:20interpreter where where you can do do Advanced Data analysis so this will write and execute its own python code on
848. 2:24:27your behalf it's amazing it's got GPT Vision which it can see images and analyze them like you can take a picture
849. 2:24:35of a whiteboard or of an invoice or of a receipt and have it just type it up or you know take take sketches of software
850. 2:24:44from a whiteboard and have it write the code for the interface that it sees in the sketch on the Whiteboard seriously I
851. 2:24:52I'll show you that it's astounding um dolly3 image generation it makes images and then you can create and share these things called custom
852. 2:24:59gpts so all of that stuff's within chat gp4 and it's it's all just sort of sitting in there hidden underneath this
853. 2:25:07little paper clip down in the bottom left it's just sort of in there it just sort of does all this stuff and so so like for example so for
854. 2:25:16this comedy thing I'm going to say like um why don't you make a Polaroid snapshot of a photograph that goes with this business

858. 2:26:05called not a bad um interpretation of the problem okay the question is so so let yeah let me explain custom instructions
859. 2:26:15for a second and and let me there's a there's a bigger thing to explain here okay so I'm going to go back to custom

861. 2:26:26chat GPT to know about you to provide better responses so one of the one of the tricks with chat GPT is you you give it
862. 2:26:37a roll so so you you say I want you to act as a McKenzie trained business consultant and I'm going to ask you a
863. 2:26:47bunch of questions about my business and I want you to be my business coach right the reason you do that is the
864. 2:26:55nature of how these large language models work is they're essentially trained on so much data it's like it's
865. 2:27:03like imagine if you could take all of what's been dumped on the internet for the past 40 years and jam that into this model
866. 2:27:12that's essentially what open ai's done as much data as they could get their hands on of the public internet for the
867. 2:27:19past 40 years is sitting inside chat GPT in this really weird proprietary mathematical thousand dimensional latent space crazy ass
868. 2:27:31[ __ ] and so when you ask it a question like write me a business letter it looks across all of the [ __ ] internet
869. 2:27:39basically and and and looks for anywhere where there's anything resembling a business letter and it sort of pulls it
870. 2:27:45all in and so so what you end end up with is these very genericized if you sort of took the average of all Communications of all
871. 2:27:54time and average them together you kind of get generic [ __ ] right so if you say something like I want you to be you know
872. 2:28:03you know I'm a CEO of a comedy club what that's going to do is it's going to say somewhere in all this information I have
873. 2:28:11there's information that's more about comedy clubs and CEOs and CEOs of comedy clubs it Narrows the data set um so if I
874. 2:28:20if I tell it to be a McKenzie consultant when I write that email it's going to be a very different email than if I'm the
875. 2:28:26CEO of a comedy club so it it gives it context one of the things that makes these large language models perform
876. 2:28:33better is when you give them more context so this one sort of says who are you acting like and then this bottom one
877. 2:28:40says how would you like chat GPT to respond here's the specific instructions for how to respond as this person
