Description

Description: In this recent AI Learning Lab live session, I walk through examples of how generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and DALL-E are transforming creative processes. I urge viewers to start experimenting with these tools themselves to gain firsthand experience, even if the current state is imperfect. Though some may react with fear and skepticism when you first share what you're learning, in time many will become curious. I encourage an open and generous spirit of curiosity, play, and sharing knowledge during this time of explosive change in AI capabilities. The future rewards will go to those willing to skill up now. AI Learning Lab address: https://tiktok.com/@aiLearningLab #ChatGPT #Midjourney #DALLE 00:29 - Getting started with generative AI tools 07:27 - Democratization of specialized skills with AI 14:15 - The importance of prompting skills 18:21 - Applications for legal contract analysis 26:29 - Illustrator's new generative design features 43:06 - The power of conversational interfaces 50:39 - Generating ideas and images with DALL-E 1:14:50 - A beginner's guide to Midjourney 1:55:57 - AI's potential impact on jobs 2:14:15 - Why sharing knowledge openly is key right now 2:33:13 - AI anonymity support groups

4:04 you're doing I know I know I know I know
4:07 this is an awful lot like I'm just
4:10 working on my computer while people
4:12 watch my face zip zip it zip it zip it
4:17 it's going to be so good just keep
4:18 sharing keep tapping the hearts pretend
4:21 like you like

4:31 we'll fig we'll figure it out oh here we
4:33 go desktop
4:35 beautiful all right we got
4:42 that and then I got
4:45 this this little old house dress a
4:48 little too bright we'll dim that up a
4:51 bit there we
4:54 go all right see I'm getting set up here
4:57 it's going to it's going to be like it's
4:59 very much like a a professional
5:01 operation without the camera equipment
5:03 or the lighting or the sound or the
5:06 acting or the talent or the writing but
5:08 other than that very professional
5:11 operation here okay all right you may
5:15 ask you may
5:21 ask what are your
5:23 qualifications you may ask
5:26 that you may be one of those people
5:30 that comes here every night waiting for
5:33 something to
5:38 happen angry mangled face she's so upset
5:42 her face is
5:45 mangled
5:47 this is the
5:50 Irregulars that was Ted looks at life
5:52 made this shared that shared that on the
5:54 salon Discord isn't that the
5:58 best yeah but seriously Kyle um I it's a
6:03 little awkward right now but what are
6:05 your qualifications do you why why am I
6:09 here why am I
6:12 [Laughter]
6:16 [Music]
6:19 here here we
6:23 [Music]
6:26 go all right fantastic Bob tell him what
6:30 he's W so let's do this um keep tapping
6:33 the screen let's see if we can get some
6:34 more people in here what we'll do is
6:37 we'll do we'll do our little our little
6:39 uh uh evening kickoff uh Hey everybody
6:43 my name is Kyle Shannon this is the AI
6:45 learning lab I have no qualifications uh
6:48 so the answer to that is I have none and
6:52 what we like to do here is talk about AI
6:53 if you have questions about AI pop them
6:55 in the comments below if you've never
6:57 played with AI guess what we have
7:00 stuff for you
7:04 go there right now chat. open.com that
7:09 that bad boy what's that you say that's
7:12 chat PT that's the you can make money
7:15 with chat PT
7:16 place um just start playing with it just
7:19 start playing with it don't think you
7:20 have to do anything right you don't need
7:21 to know technology it's just like a
7:23 Google search bar if you can search in
7:25 Google you can do this thing and just
7:27 start playing with it just start putting
7:29 in prompts have you ever asked AI to
7:30 build a prompt for
7:32 AI yeah many times actually chat GPT
7:36 writing prompts for chat GPT is good
7:39 it's a good it's a good uh technique to
7:41 use
7:43 and Ethan mullik shared a study about a
7:46 month ago that they did some testing on
7:49 that and chat GPT prompting itself out
7:52 prompted the humans by a
7:55 lot but it'll never wow Tik Tock live
7:58 what was that who did that that was very
8:00 cool thank you Sherry banks that was
8:03 super cool and you just hit Level
8:05 11 um we're so gorgeous I know look at
8:09 look at you all look how pretty yall are
8:12 you damn hippies look at
8:16 y'all it's what it feels like in here
8:18 and sometimes you what are your
8:21 qualifications man yeah man yeah speak
8:25 the truth
8:28 Kyle um okay so these four things are
8:34 all kind of the same thing they're all
8:36 large language models they're all you
8:39 know AI chat Bots um Bard is Google's
8:43 entry into the space Claude is a
8:45 competitor to chat GPT and just got a $4
8:48 billion investment from Amazon and then
8:51 Bing is Microsoft and they invested 10
8:55 billion into open AI so they could use
8:57 their technology and whatever else they
9:00 they got with that deal um that little
9:03 thing at the bottom there promps do chat
9:05 that's just a primer that'll teach you
9:07 how to talk to these things so if you
9:08 haven't played with these things go
9:09 there right now I'm going to going to do
9:11 these really quick here's another one to
9:13 screenshot so just start screenshotting
9:15 these isn't Bing just chat GPT Sawyer
9:19 great question it's not actually
9:23 so
9:25 okay here's how this works you have the
9:30 I guess they're calling them Frontier or
9:32 Foundation um large language model like
9:38 gp4 is sort of sitting down here at the
9:40 base level and then sitting on top of
9:42 that is an
9:43 application the one from from open AI is
9:47 called chat GPT the one from Microsoft
9:50 is called Bing chat so they're both
9:53 chatbots that call the
9:56 gp4 foundation model but how they wrote
10:00 those chat Bots is completely
10:02 different Microsoft's being safety guard
10:06 rails are really egregious right now
10:09 like you can if you ask it anything at
10:11 all off color or make a comment or just
10:14 anything it'll it'll either just refuse
10:17 to do it or it'll shut the conversation
10:19 down and it's really annoying because
10:21 sometimes you're in the you know in a in
10:22 a conversation and you inadvertently say
10:25 something or or just whatever just
10:27 didn't like what you said and it'll just
10:30 shut the conversation down and then
10:31 you're done you can't go back to it so
10:35 um so they're both calling on the same
10:37 basic technology underneath but the
10:39 rules that they give the chatbots
10:41 themselves are quite different um and
10:44 that means that opinion now the the one
10:49 on the bottom is connected to the
10:51 internet as is barard and then about a
10:55 week ago um chat GPT reinstituted browse
11:00 with Bing so now it's connected to the
11:01 internet so now of these four the only
11:04 one not connected to the internet is
11:06 Claude so so that's that's an exciting
11:10 thing but it used to be if you wanted to
11:12 to search a large language model on
11:14 recent information you had to go to Bing
11:16 or Bard and now you can go to open AI
11:18 again okay Pi um the IOS app for pi you
11:26 can talk to it I wonder I bet I can
11:28 install that on my Ye Old iPad here hang
11:32 on cuz it' be good to demo that as well
11:35 hold please welcome to Chad
11:39 add wasn't he in the middle of the
11:41 sentence what's he doing what about us
11:44 why isn't he talking to us anymore not
11:46 charging how's this not
11:49 charging what's going on
11:52 here now it's charging
11:58 okay
12:00 D
12:02 Pi
12:08 personal
12:17 assistant nope I guess I can't get it oh
12:20 well all right Pi doesn't have a
12:24 uh they don't have an iPad app okay so
12:27 PI what's what's powerful about Pi if
12:30 you get the IOS app you can put it into
12:31 conversation mode there's a little green
12:33 phone in the search bar if you hit the
12:35 green phone you can talk to it and just
12:38 like you talk and when you stop talking
12:40 it just goes off and searches the large
12:43 language model and comes back with an
12:45 answer you have a conversation with it
12:46 so try that in your car just Bluetooth
12:48 that um those other things are
12:50 interesting to look at too screenshot
12:53 this for images right now my my uh image
12:57 generation crush is with dolly3 because
13:00 I have access to it inside chat GPT but
13:03 you can also if you go to bing.com
13:06 create that's also dolly3 and it's
13:09 free um chat gbt you have to pay 20
13:11 bucks to get the fancy features but Bing
13:14 you get them for free mid journey is
13:16 really good and sexy um the other two
13:18 are worth exploring as
13:21 well and then screenshot this for sure
13:24 here's your video generation tools
13:26 Runway ml hey Jen which does video
13:30 translations that are [ __ ] remarkable
13:33 I did a thing today where um so so I did
13:37 um myself to Italian and I did myself to
13:41 Mandarin Chinese I took the Italian and
13:44 Chinese videos that I did and I
13:46 translated them back into English and
13:48 they're surprisingly
13:50 coherent surprisingly coherent um so
13:53 those are good there this so these two
13:57 things futurepedia doio and there's an
14:00 AI for that are um just big old
14:03 directories of AI tools most of them are
14:06 crap but there's lots and lots of stuff
14:08 to explore there and then these three
14:11 dudes Ethan mullik David Shapiro and
14:13 Paul rer I think are worth you following
14:16 uh Mark Paul rer from the marketing AI
14:18 Institute he's been talking about this
14:20 [ __ ] for like five years um David
14:23 Shapiro is single-handedly trying to
14:25 build an uh an AGI platform so there's
14:29 an open source cognitive architecture
14:32 that he just you know put out in the
14:34 world brilliant dude really good thinker
14:37 and then Ethan mollik from one useful
14:39 thing. org Wharton business school
14:41 Professor smart as [ __ ] smart smart
14:44 smart all those guys are good
14:48 um let's see the AI Salon the thing in
14:52 the middle there that is a community so
14:54 I talked in here a lot about the
14:56 Discord and um that's what we're
14:59 referring to it's the AI Salon Discord
15:01 so that's a community I started
15:05 about it's we're coming up on a year I
15:07 we started it I think the end of
15:09 November last year uh or the beginning
15:12 of December something like that and
15:16 um yeah I don't I don't I think it was I
15:19 think first week in December was our
15:20 first meeting but anyway we have we we
15:23 meet every two weeks and then we have
15:25 the online Discord where you can hang
15:26 out and you have fun with people and
15:29 learn about this [ __ ] and just you know
15:31 be with other weirdos that are hanging
15:34 out with AI stuff and then this thing
15:36 tiny url.com
15:38 kyi tools that's from uh one of the
15:42 Irregulars in here named
15:44 Thelonius who every time I mentioned
15:47 here's a company to go check out or
15:48 here's a person to follow he threw it in
15:50 a spreadsheet which super cool and so
15:53 now we made that available for everyone
15:54 so that's just super hip that's just
15:56 [ __ ] far out and then story vine.com
15:59 that's the company that I'm the founder
16:00 and CEO of all right so the way this
16:04 works pop the way this works is a bunch
16:07 of people come in here and hang out with
16:09 me um and wonder what my qualifications
16:12 are and then then I answer
16:15 questions so so if you have any
16:17 questions about AI pop them in the
16:19 comments below and let's get started
16:21 let's get started shall we oh that's the
16:23 other thing I I sometimes make funny
16:25 voices and I'm not making fun of people
16:30 I might be making fun of people that's
16:32 not the point I also cuss a little if
16:34 you don't like that I wouldn't stay like
16:38 I don't it's not I'm not Gary ve level
16:41 of cussing that's phallic come on steo
16:44 what are you
16:45 doing although it did kind of match my
16:48 little purple stripe on my shirt here
16:49 didn't it thank you digital Gods see I
16:51 get the cute little cheeks and the star
16:53 from digital Gods Not the big penis
16:57 nose
17:01 I think I got to come up with something
17:02 for the penis nose I think I got to come
17:04 up with a with a something you regulars
17:07 you can come up with some kind of joke
17:09 for that
17:11 right all right let's
17:16 see I love hold please and use it in
17:19 real KN life now that's funny Silver Fox
17:23 oh
17:26 please you know what's funny about the
17:28 stupid [ __ ] I say is it's not until it's
17:31 pointed out to me that I realize I say
17:34 stupid [ __ ] all the time and
17:37 regularly I'm like a little meme machine
17:40 uh man I'm learning a lot from you oh
17:42 Brandon jet thank you very much I I
17:45 think I have not taught much tonight but
17:47 I'm happy to if you got anything
17:49 specific you want to learn or have
17:50 questions about or want me to demo I'm
17:52 happy to do that there's a lot of cool
17:54 [ __ ] to look at um we can go demo um
17:59 no pinus
18:02 oh that's good Joker pie and I wait pie
18:06 and I broke up from piie today oh yeah I
18:09 didn't think so Sherry
18:11 D Sherry D likes
18:14 pie um we can go look at
18:18 um
18:20 gptv let's gptv Kyle it's GPT
18:25 Vision so you can now upload an image to
18:29 chat GPT and it will talk to you about
18:33 it shall we go do
18:37 that I've been coming for the last two
18:39 weeks oh that's great Brandon thank you
18:40 thank you for for popping in the
18:42 comments and saying something I mean
18:44 here's here's my request to you Brandon
18:45 as you're learning stuff something I
18:48 thought you've probably heard me say
18:49 this as you're learning things start
18:51 talking about it talk about it in the
18:52 world talk about it on LinkedIn talk
18:54 about it at dinner with your friends and
18:56 family even if they think you're [ __ ]
18:58 weird
18:59 um share in here anything that's going
19:01 on cuz we have you know mods in here
19:03 that will help um and they'll pin your
19:05 comments and things like that um and
19:08 that's something that's been happening
19:09 in here organically join the AI salon
19:12 and you can ask questions there learn
19:14 more there from people that know way
19:16 more than I do and and uh whatever you
19:18 call it um uh share share what you what
19:21 you learn so yeah go do all that that's
19:24 awesome have you seen the text to Vector
19:27 in the new release of illustrator I have
19:29 Sunset lady and I can demonstrate that
19:31 too and I can I can also save you a
19:35 headache if if you if you have the same
19:37 headache I did um so let's since you
19:42 asked about it explicitly let's jump
19:43 over to illustrator I did let me get rid
19:46 of
19:47 that let's see here
19:50 why don't save
19:56 new oh I think oh you know what
20:01 people I think I'm going to have to
20:03 restart my machine which I will do um
20:07 okay so here's what happens um so I'm in
20:09 illustrator right
20:10 now and you need to have illustrator
20:14 2024 so if you go to your Creative Cloud
20:17 application and and you say are all your
20:21 apps up to date and it says they're all
20:23 up to date and you still have
20:24 illustrator
20:27 2023 that's not the one that has this
20:29 feature in it so what you have to do is
20:32 you go into your updates and even though
20:34 it says all of your things are up to
20:35 date in the upper right hand corner you
20:38 click um update wait hang
20:41 on Creative
20:44 Cloud so you go
20:47 into uh where are we
20:51 updates and then up in the upper corner
20:53 here it says check for updates click
20:56 that because what that will do is is
20:59 force illustrator to go to 2024 which is
21:03 version
21:04 28 um it took like I was I was in the
21:07 flipping Adobe beta Discord asking
21:11 people why don't I see this thing it's
21:13 supposed to be live they're like do this
21:16 do that I'm like it still doesn't work
21:18 they're like do this do that I'm like it
21:20 still doesn't work I felt old and stupid
21:23 but you know whatever okay so what you
21:25 do with this thing you draw a rectang
21:30 angle and then and then this is some
21:33 interface they got to fix because when
21:36 you draw the rectangle nothing happens
21:38 you have to
21:40 go oh you can't even see it here but you
21:42 have to go off your rectangle tool and
21:43 go back to the pointer tool so I'm going
21:46 to go back to the pointer tool and then
21:48 you get the little generative fill
21:50 button like you did with um with what
21:54 you call it 10,000 likes already oh my
21:57 God you guys are going crazy
21:59 I love it fantastic Bob tell him what
22:01 he's won You've Won 10,000 likes um okay
22:07 so we're in illustrator we now have this
22:09 generative this generative button just
22:11 like we did in Photoshop and let's see
22:16 there are four different modes can I
22:18 make this bigger please tell me I can
22:19 make this
22:21 bigger is it still teeny tiny oh my God
22:25 I hate these interfaces with teeny tiny
22:27 [ __ ] hang on let me go let me go fix my
22:30 system settings to
22:32 be
22:34 more more bigger
22:39 display oh Marty's pretty big oh
22:43 well this is a little obnoxious but
22:45 that's okay all right so here we
22:49 are so I'm going to get rid of this I'm
22:51 going to get rid of any text in here
22:53 right now and
22:54 then there's four different options
22:57 subject C
22:59 icon and pattern so let's do an icon and
23:02 let's say I want a
23:05 um 3D
23:08 anchor icon bang and now it's going to
23:13 generate just like you know any of these
23:16 generative generative uh tools do but
23:20 we're in
23:21 illustrator so that means that whatever
23:23 it's going to create for us is going to
23:25 be infinitely scalable right and it's
23:28 lay Ed and there's I think there's three
23:30 of them if I click on
23:32 this um
23:34 oh hold
23:44 please okay so we got that one we got
23:47 that one and we got that one all right
23:50 super cool but that's a crappy anchor so
23:54 we'll say uh
23:56 3D um
23:59 glass 3D wait that's not glass
24:03 GL a no as
24:07 SS Blue Anchor icon let's see if see if
24:11 it can give us some some blue glass Blue
24:15 Glass why are some Dolly image prompts
24:18 on B blocked I will talk about that in a
24:21 second a nonan it's a very good
24:25 question this is not giving me anything
24:28 resembling Blue Glass all right maybe
24:30 it's just cuz I'm an icon all right
24:32 let's get rid of this thing bye we'll
24:35 draw a new
24:36 one we'll click our little arrow icon
24:39 and then we're going to
24:41 go let's do a pattern so we'll do a
24:44 pattern
24:45 of um
24:53 repeating
24:55 repeating
24:57 Hedge hugs and
25:01 [Laughter]
25:07 turtles let's see if we get some cute
25:10 little action here with repeating
25:12 hedgehogs and
25:18 turtles did do it yay those pretty cute
25:23 those are turtles no
25:25 hedgehogs that's sort of a hedgehog Cog
25:29 but anyway this is a repeating pattern
25:31 right so you can just infinitely scale
25:33 this here box and it's now full of that
25:36 pattern look at that Bang Boom Big Bang
25:40 boom and then you can
25:42 also somewhere is generative color is
25:45 that under effects uh let me see gen
25:49 well let's see
25:52 re
25:55 color so it's under edit color
26:00 colors generative recolor under edit
26:03 okay edit edit colors so look so now I'm
26:06 going to do generative
26:09 recolor
26:12 and enter text where's the where's the
26:17 interface oh here okay wait what is
26:21 going on
26:24 here oh I see okay generative recolor
26:27 okay okay so so I can just click on
26:31 different
26:37 um so it'll do presets for me so you can
26:39 just pick on the presets and it'll
26:41 automatically recolor it so I mean like
26:44 good Lord the speed the speed of which
26:47 right so I could say um let's see uh
26:51 Neo
26:53 Tokyo Punk
26:55 colors I don't know what that means but
26:58 but let's see what it comes up with
26:59 should be purples and blues and blacks
27:01 yeah kind of here you go bang bang nice
27:04 there you go so that's illustrator yeah
27:07 personalized wrapping paper exactly
27:09 exactly exactly go sell this [ __ ] on
27:12 Etsy go knock out some patterns put them
27:14 on Etsy infinitely scalable you can go
27:17 in and you can you know because it's
27:19 illustrator you can grab you know any
27:21 one of these little objects they're
27:23 layered um how do I get into the pattern
27:26 I don't know anyway I don't know
27:28 illustrator well enough to know what to
27:30 be doing here but there's that let me
27:33 I'll do one I'll do one other image here
27:35 because that's a pattern thing that's a
27:36 very specific thing
27:39 so we'll grab
27:41 this and we're going to
27:44 go subject and I'm going to go uh let's
27:48 see uh
27:51 1969
27:54 GTO Judge Orange
28:00 let's see if we can get let's see if we
28:02 can get a good muscle car going you know
28:04 I like the muscle cars say the muscle
28:08 cars I like I like a wrench I like a
28:11 Good Wrench and nuts I like nuts but I
28:13 mean not nuts you know but like bolts
28:15 and nuts nuts and bolts and nuts that is
28:19 not anywhere
28:20 close to to 69 GTO Judge the [ __ ] is
28:25 that I guess it's a trophy
28:29 uh let's see
28:31 1969 muscle
28:35 car listen people these tools are still
28:38 new did I ever tell you I think I have
28:41 all these tools right now hang on the
28:44 people that are in here a lot know
28:46 what's coming all of these tools right
28:48 now all of them from every company all
28:51 of them are wait for
28:56 it
29:00 janky pieces of
29:05 [ __ ] all of them because this stuff's
29:08 really new joer what's happening Nano
29:11 Nano to you back all right that's sort
29:14 of a muscle car there we go that's in
29:16 the neighborhood of a muscle
29:18 car oh and it's got our weird weird ass
29:21 colors on it our weird ass color
29:23 palette but anyway you can go into this
29:26 thing and you can grab little piece
29:27 pieces of
29:30 it and let's see can I grab that and
29:33 then just move it around right because
29:35 it's illustrator right these are all
29:37 objects so it's a layered thing that you
29:40 can tweak to your little heart's
29:45 content very cool right all right so
29:48 that's that now let's go
29:52 play with this little icon lookie lookie
29:56 lookie see it
29:58 it's a little picture it's a little
30:00 picture so how you get to that is you
30:03 have to have chat gbt plus and then it's
30:08 your default gp4 setting if you've got
30:12 access to GPT
30:15 Vision you'll get a little icon right
30:17 there it's like a little upload thing
30:19 now if you go to Advanced Data analysis
30:21 you also have a little thing here that's
30:23 file upload as well but this is
30:24 uploading things like CSV files and text
30:27 files
30:28 and in default chat GPT it turns into an
30:32 image so this can now read images so
30:34 check this
30:36 out so on on my office
30:40 um on my office
30:43 whiteboard I have a whole [ __ ] ton of
30:47 Post-it notes from like a strategy
30:49 session my co-founder and I
30:52 did um like three years ago and so this
30:56 is it so I took this picture like you
30:58 can barely even see that [ __ ] so I took
31:01 this picture and so we're going to
31:03 upload that
31:06 picture and I'm going to say um
31:13 what's um going on
31:17 here that's all I'm going to say so
31:20 there's our picture
31:21 uploaded the image displays a wall with
31:24 various colored sticky notes organized
31:26 into different sections it appears to be
31:27 a brainstorming or planning session
31:29 likely for business the sections labeled
31:32 goals unjustified assumptions choices
31:35 opportunities Trends risks of change out
31:37 of our control each section contains
31:40 sticky notes and various pieces of
31:42 information okay so what I'm going to
31:44 say here I mean first of all how cool is
31:49 that I mean like like just at a minimum
31:53 like you come out of a a brainstorming
31:56 session and
31:58 you got all the sticky notes and you put
31:59 them on the wall and then at some point
32:01 it's someone's [ __ ] job to write down
32:02 all the [ __ ] on the sticky notes well
32:04 not
32:05 anymore done so now I'm going to say
32:13 um make a detailed yeah I got to restart
32:16 my machine uh I'm going to say make
32:19 a
32:21 table with the details of the notes
32:28 organized by
32:38 category certainly here's a table based
32:41 on the details of the
32:42 notes category details
32:46 goals build value so shareholders win
32:49 China
32:52 international one to two your
32:54 exit right so this is reading every one
32:58 of the Post-it notes automatically
33:00 organizing them in the little sections
33:02 that that are there U it's a little slow
33:05 I'm going to stop this right now
33:07 but what this Vision stuff can do is is
33:10 kind of way Beyond just just this little
33:13 example that I'm showing here although
33:14 this little example is is quite amazing
33:17 do you know if there's any AI that you
33:19 can trust with privacy yet yeah Mitch
33:21 anything that you install on your local
33:23 machine so um meta put out the llama
33:28 models llama 7B 13B and 70b plus code
33:34 llama those are all
33:36 open-source
33:38 highquality um large language models
33:41 that you can install on a local machine
33:44 so any any anywhere where you're
33:47 running um your large language model
33:50 queries locally you're not sending stuff
33:53 out so all of that stuff is secure
33:55 anything being sent to an open AI or to
33:58 any of these ones you should assume is
34:00 not secure unless you have an explicit
34:03 thing um Silver Fox the whiteboards so
34:06 she said ah whiteboards so um ah llama
34:10 llama so tasty I like llama llama tasty
34:15 um the um some of the demos with the
34:18 Whiteboard stuff are amazing like they
34:20 they'll take like a a site map of of an
34:24 architecture for computer software thank
34:26 you very much sir
34:28 and they basically just say write the
34:30 code for the software that's diagrammed
34:32 in the Whiteboard and it'll identify the
34:34 segments and then start writing code for
34:36 the different components it's it's
34:38 pretty amazing I got to restart my
34:39 machine so let me flip back over
34:42 here restarting because Microsoft Edge
34:46 likes to destroy machines because it's a
34:50 crappy piece of crap
34:52 [Music]
34:54 yeah hopefully someone from Microsoft is
34:56 in here and they're listening and
34:57 they're going to fix their memory leaks
34:59 we don't like memory leaks do we
35:01 Microsoft where do you see the demos on
35:04 YouTube where do you see the demos which
35:07 demos where do I see what demos what
35:10 you're talking about Silver Fox I don't
35:12 understand what question is what are you
35:15 saying Silver Fox very I I know nothing
35:17 of what you say what are your
35:20 qualifications do you are you qualified
35:22 to be asking questions in here Silver
35:25 Fox why not use Chrome instead
35:28 because a year ago because add is part
35:31 of the answer oh whiteboard things that
35:33 you just spoke of
35:35 oh
35:36 so in general where I find most of the
35:40 cool [ __ ] that I find is the the people
35:43 that I say to follow following Ethan
35:45 mullik and the people he follows
35:47 following um uh Sam Alman Andre
35:51 karpathy um Robert scoble is another one
35:54 I it's mostly on Twitter on x and so so
35:59 I've created a list of of people I
36:01 follow so I have like a generative AI
36:03 list and then I just go in there and I
36:04 just kind of scroll until I see cool
36:06 [ __ ] and I just try to figure out mostly
36:09 what I'm looking for is either a demo
36:13 piece of new technology or some
36:16 announcement from an existing company um
36:20 that I that I already know and
36:25 trust is mar the sarcastic
36:29 chatbot available to answer I found him
36:31 on chat gbt today thank you Kofi D um I
36:35 have not heard of I have not heard of uh
36:37 Marv the sarcastic chatbot but I will we
36:41 can I'll tell you what bruty henna um
36:44 nine out of 10 on the name I like brudy
36:46 henna good name um we can pop into chat
36:49 GPT and make a bot or make a uh we can
36:53 make chat gbt be
36:56 sarcastic
36:59 uh uh
37:04 uh all right there's
37:07 Discord What's Happening Here does my
37:10 machine work again please tell me my
37:12 machine
37:17 works uhuh might still be starting
37:21 up get rid of
37:24 that hold
37:26 please
37:27 see now now I'm all self-conscious of
37:29 hold
37:35 please it's never a dull moment at the
37:38 AI learning lab yeah
37:42 mhm hey
37:48 Kool-Aid can I talk now can you write
37:51 yay I fixed
37:53 it
37:55 okay what was I going to show I was
37:57 going to show oh why not use Chrome
38:00 instead because a year ago
38:04 um when chat GPT got a million people in
38:08 5 days and then it got a 100 million
38:10 people in six weeks and then Microsoft
38:13 went all in on incorporating chat gbt
38:16 into their browser and their search
38:19 engine I just switched uh my default
38:23 search engine to Bing and my default
38:25 browser to Edge now why did I do that um
38:29 because I couldn't I couldn't imagine in
38:32 my
38:34 lifetime that
38:36 anyone could potentially threaten to
38:38 unseat Google as the Monopoly for
38:41 interacting with data on the internet
38:43 and all of a sudden I was like holy [ __ ]
38:46 Microsoft's going to be [ __ ] with
38:48 Google and the CEO was kind of picking
38:51 on Google and so I just switched it but
38:53 like I like Edge a lot as a browser but
38:55 I'm a I'm a tab hord
38:57 and so if You tab horde it's just it
39:00 just has memory leaks even if you have
39:02 things that put your tabs to sleep it
39:04 just [ __ ] crashes my machine every
39:06 time I it goes to sleep so so anyway how
39:10 do you share what you're doing on your
39:12 laptop with us on live two cameras yes
39:15 but they're all in the same device so so
39:18 this is a phone and then this camera I
39:21 can see myself and this camera is on the
39:24 other side of the phone so it's just
39:25 when you go live there's an option
39:27 called dual and it stands for dual
39:30 camera so it's just activating two
39:32 cameras on the device at the same time
39:34 and then I
39:35 just so here
39:38 look so I put
39:41 my I put my um you can't see
39:46 it my computer is on a motorcycle helmet
39:53 box and I'm just I've just got it on a
39:55 monopod with a with a little phone clamp
39:57 on the top it's not very Hightech here
40:00 at the AI learning lab you're like I'm
40:02 so disappointed I thought this was a lab
40:04 I thought you would have fancy
40:05 technology is there not an oscope near
40:07 you oh there's not an oscope but you
40:10 know what there is near me you can make
40:12 money with yeah so I don't need
40:14 qualifications when I got the golden
40:17 button see what's happening here no
40:20 neither do I neither do
40:22 I it really doesn't matter is this
40:25 photos there we go janky piece of
40:31 sh all these images were made with
40:33 either ideogram or Dolly
40:37 3 da this is one of my new favorites
40:40 we'll leave that one there for a bit all
40:42 right hold please what did I miss
40:44 nothing I just had to restart my
40:46 machine um and what else was I going to
40:49 do I was going to show some on something
40:51 in
40:54 here uh uh uh uh uh
40:57 I don't
41:00 know let's let's let's go go look at
41:04 some
41:07 questions I just came in so I apologize
41:10 if I'm way off topic but have you weigh
41:12 in on AI to invest in um special K3
41:18 353 um I have a degree in acting and you
41:23 don't want Financial advice from me but
41:27 I do have opinions on companies that I
41:30 would at least pay attention to whether
41:32 or not you invest in them that's on you
41:35 that's on you uh I haven't messed around
41:37 with Google since I met GPT my new love
41:39 absolutely Source Camp I know I very
41:43 very rarely um do a traditional search
41:46 anymore it's amazing and I'm I'm even at
41:49 the point where thank you very much for
41:50 the Roses I'm even at the point where if
41:53 I know like if gp4 is really slow and I
41:57 know it's like it's going to be slow and
42:00 slower than a Google search would be and
42:02 it's probably not going to be accurate
42:04 I'll still do a gp4 search instead of a
42:06 Google search cuz I hate the Google
42:09 experience so much now because the
42:12 results they return like they've been so
42:15 SEO hacked that you know it used to be
42:18 like the first four or five links were
42:20 shitty now it's like the first four or
42:22 five pages are just crappy SEO injected
42:26 website and it's it's just completely
42:28 [ __ ] useless so I am full on chat
42:31 GPT um someone asked me another question
42:35 I forgot look this is Chad add that's
42:36 the other thing going on in this channel
42:38 there's a lot of there's a lot of
42:40 incomplete sentences a lot a lot listen
42:44 listen here's what we're going to need
42:45 to do we're going to need you go on
42:47 ahead and Tamp it down a bit all right
42:49 people we're sto that's a celebration
42:52 and a half by the way steo just reached
42:54 level 22 if you don't think this is not
42:56 a competition people oh you're so wrong
42:59 this is totally a competition you know
43:02 what happens when you get to level 50
43:04 neither do
43:06 I oh she bear I love that one that's my
43:11 favorite one there just something
43:13 calming about it oh series
43:18 series what's going
43:22 on
43:24 oh sir Siri was Dick ating everything I
43:27 was just saying on my
43:33 watch all
43:35 right
43:37 um no we're not disappo disappointed at
43:40 all we are grateful you shared great I
43:42 don't know what that was in reference to
43:44 but awesome what are you spending our
43:47 dues on Kyle
43:48 janky um thank you very much for pinning
43:51 that I just saw that one do you
43:53 recommend paying extra money to use chat
43:55 GPT 4 I do listen so I got I got a
43:58 couple of things to say to you user 509
44:02 481-9457 23 one change your name come on
44:08 part of the deal here is you got to have
44:10 a good name because I judge names you've
44:12 got a 0.0 out of 10 on the name and then
44:16 go to go to bing.com and make yourself
44:19 an avatar make make your image not just
44:22 a gray button and then what else did you
44:24 ask oh do I do do I think you should pay
44:27 the money for chat gbt I absolutely do
44:30 now I was am ambiguous on it for most of
44:34 the summer because I'm like you can get
44:36 away with it not there's so much stuff
44:38 that comes with chat GPT now um Joe
44:41 Knows loans you have amazing knowledge
44:43 on AI do you have any books or guides
44:45 that we can resell for you as an
44:48 affiliate um I don't I probably should
44:52 um I'm I'm I'm I'm trying to figure out
44:57 ways to I I know that there's resources
44:59 that that could be valuable here for
45:02 people so I'm trying to figure all that
45:04 stuff out I don't yet but it's a good
45:06 idea thank thanks for that idea it's
45:07 actually not a bad idea
45:10 um and then of course I forgot what the
45:12 hell I was talking about uh oh it was it
45:14 was user what's his name with all with
45:17 the bad name wait what did he ask oh do
45:20 I recommend paying for GPT 4 yes so here
45:25 watch so thank you for what I didn't
45:28 quite see what that was but it looked
45:30 cool it looked like some sort of uh
45:33 thing on my head thank you digital Gods
45:37 um okay so if you pay the 20 bucks a
45:40 month for chat GPT plus you get gp4 chat
45:44 gp4 is way better way better way better
45:48 way better I don't know if I said this
45:51 but it's
45:52 better
45:54 than Bing chat which is also built on
45:57 gp4 it's just better okay so you get gp4
46:03 gp4 now has Vision you can upload images
46:08 to chat gp4 and it can analyze what's in
46:11 the image I just showed an example of
46:12 that now if I roll over this you also
46:15 get browse with Bing so it's connected
46:16 to the inter internet again you get this
46:19 thing called Advanced Data analysis
46:21 which is mindblowing mindblowing you can
46:24 upload CSV files to this thing and just
46:26 tell it to analyze the data tell you
46:28 what's in it tell you what's interesting
46:29 about it chart make charts and graphs of
46:33 the trends that it discovers it's
46:34 [ __ ] insane if you know anything
46:36 about data analysis that's mind-blowing
46:39 I know very little about it it blows my
46:41 mind you get plugins there's like a
46:43 thousand plugins most of them are
46:44 useless there's a handful that are kind
46:46 of good and then you get Dolly 3 so
46:49 check Dolly 3 out we're going to go play
46:51 with this cuz this shit's off the hook
46:54 so you can do this within big right now
46:57 so if you go to chat. bing.com or if you
47:00 go to
47:01 bing.com
47:03 create you can make images using the
47:06 dolly3 model but it's not nearly as
47:09 seamlessly integrated as what we have
47:11 going on with with gp4 so what I'm going
47:14 to do is Cam cat can get getting on user
47:18 6452
47:20 34609 uh saying get get your [ __ ]
47:23 together I like it cam katkin cam kin's
47:25 got a name you want a name cam Katen cam
47:28 K cam Katen from
47:31 Cleveland coming in hot
47:34 okay
47:36 um okay so so what I'm going to do here
47:39 if you've used image generation tools
47:41 before the the first thing you kind of
47:43 need to learn with them is like what are
47:45 all the commands like if you use mid
47:47 Journey you have to learn a you have to
47:49 learn what Discord is then you have to
47:50 get a Discord account then you have to
47:52 figure out what channels in Discord are
47:54 then you have to figure out that in some
47:55 of those channels you can type a slash
47:58 with the word imagine after it and then
47:59 it pops up this thing that says prompt
48:02 and then you type some [ __ ] in there and
48:03 it makes pictures and then what you
48:05 realize is the pictures that you're
48:07 making are shitty and the pictures that
48:09 other people are making are [ __ ]
48:10 amazing and you're like what's going on
48:12 here and they're like oh you got to
48:13 learn all the commands and you got to
48:15 learn on like camera angles and artists
48:17 and lighting Styles and and it's just
48:19 it's completely [ __ ] overwhelming so
48:22 check out the difference between that
48:24 experience and this
48:27 okay what are we going to do
48:32 here I have an idea to
48:35 start a
48:38 professional lollipop eating competition
48:41 in Manhattan
48:43 period I don't have a name for the
48:46 business but I'm hoping that it can be
48:49 funny and memorable period is that
48:51 something you can help
48:54 with and of course it is one of the
48:56 things you'll find with chat GPT is it's
48:58 like it's it's like having a Golden
49:01 Retriever as a creative partner like
49:04 like no matter what you ask it it's like
49:05 awesome idea Bud let's
49:09 go so Lolly gobble Lolly Goble I think
49:14 we're going with Lolly gobble Lolly
49:16 gobble Manhattan mad Madness manhatt
49:19 stick Showdown lick the Big Apple
49:25 contest
49:32 oh LLY
49:35 gobble I think we're going lick the Big
49:37 Apple all
49:39 right okay lick the Big Apple it is
49:43 period now I'd like you to come up with
49:46 five different Creative Concepts for a
49:50 poster to advertise our first lollipop
49:55 eating
49:56 competition
49:58 period I don't want you to create any
50:01 images yet I just want you to give me
50:03 Concepts and then I'll choose one that
50:05 will make images
50:07 from so notice what I'm doing here I'm
50:09 starting a conversation I'm having a
50:11 conversation with chat
50:13 GPT and we're you know doing silly
50:17 stupid [ __ ] but you know replace
50:19 lollipop eating contest with whatever
50:21 your business is or whatever your
50:23 project is and you know this this is the
50:26 kind of this is the kind of interaction
50:28 you can have with chat gbt that just the
50:30 text of this is a valuable exercise
50:34 right you you can very very quickly get
50:37 new ideas it's funny you know one of the
50:39 one of the things I hear from people a
50:41 lot if they haven't played with these
50:43 tools are well but it can't create new
50:46 original ideas I'm like uh yeah it can
50:49 yes it can um yes it can if you've ever
50:52 worked with a creative director you've
50:53 been in a room with 10 creative people
50:55 or just 10 people trying to come up with
50:56 ideas this is how you do it um and it
50:59 takes you 4 hours and everyone's
51:00 exhausted at the end and there's usually
51:02 an argument okay the cityscape lick no
51:06 bite of the Big Apple I think if it's
51:08 going to be called what did I call what
51:09 was it
51:10 called lick the Big
51:13 Apple bite of the Big Apple a giant
51:15 lollipop in the shape of an apple with a
51:17 huge bite taken out of it revealing the
51:19 New York City skyline inside that's
51:21 pretty
51:22 good the statue of lior te
51:27 a giant lollipop instead of a torch okay
51:29 we got to go with that all
51:33 right okay statue of liquor te it is
51:39 period Please make a
51:44 poster that
51:47 is
51:52 tall that brings this concept to life
51:57 put the
51:58 name
52:01 of the contest in big bold letters at
52:04 the top of the poster and the image
52:12 below the style of the posters should
52:15 be in a
52:18 professional Hollywood movie style
52:22 poster art
52:24 style
52:28 period but make sure that each of the
52:31 four Images is
52:34 unique so I have some things to choose
52:37 from okay so I just kind of asked it for
52:41 what I want and this for me starts to
52:42 look at so so what what you're starting
52:45 to look at here is is what's called an
52:47 autonomous agent so the autonomous agent
52:50 is this dolly3 thing here and you know
52:54 we we've had our conversation this is
52:56 normal chat GP stuff up
52:59 here but well it looks like Dolly 3 is
53:02 going slow right now what it will start
53:03 doing when it starts is it will start
53:05 writing its own prompts for each of the
53:08 four Images so I don't have to write
53:11 image prompts I can just ask for what I
53:13 want oh oh that's interesting I think
53:16 it's I think it's not showing the uh I
53:19 think it's not show lick the Big Apple
53:22 Apple's spelled a little wonky um so
53:25 these things can do
53:28 um look at this
53:37 one that's awesome oh man this is great
53:42 lick the Big Apple all right so we'll
53:45 say that one's
53:48 great all right so we'll say we'll say
53:51 um I like number three period but you
53:55 got
53:56 the text spelled completely wrong period
53:59 Please spell the
54:03 words lick the
54:15 big
54:17 correctly and have the text at the top
54:22 of the poster not the
54:24 bottom
54:26 period at the bottom of the
54:29 poster have the date of October 31st
54:36 2023
54:38 also also include the
54:42 location
54:44 of the Javit
54:49 Center let's see what this does but so
54:54 so so something something changed with
54:57 Dolly 3 from yesterday to to
55:00 today the the way this worked um
55:04 yesterday was it would write the prompt
55:06 and you could see it writing the
55:09 prompt and now you can't see that if I
55:12 click on this okay so you still get to
55:14 see the prompt you you get to see the
55:16 beginning of it and you can copy The
55:19 Prompt and I I assume we might be able
55:22 to use that in some other way that's
55:25 really interesting but anyway it's just
55:27 now
55:28 making like the Big Apple all right so
55:31 it didn't here's the revised
55:35 poster it says it's now spelled
55:37 correctly and placed at the
55:41 top let's see uh no it's not but that's
55:46 okay period can you make four new
55:49 posters based on the other four Creative
55:52 Concepts you
55:54 shared
55:56 let's see what it does with the other
55:57 Concepts I've seen professional photos
55:59 off LinkedIn which are AI generated chat
56:03 gp4 um possibly Becky the it if it
56:09 really looks like professional
56:10 photography it's likely mid Journey um
56:15 but this dolly inside chat GPT is is so
56:20 it's so much easier than creating images
56:23 in mid Journey that I think just I think
56:26 people are going to flock to this and
56:27 also I think Chachi BT has like 180
56:31 million users and mid Journey has like
56:34 15 million so so there's a lot more
56:36 users on Dolly on chat GPT so yeah Dolly
56:42 3 has by far the best tech text output
56:45 of any image model out there right now
56:48 yep that's correct Herod and and if
56:50 you're wondering why can't this thing
56:51 spell and why is why is everything
56:53 spelled weird it's it's just that the
56:55 nature of how how these images are
56:57 generated um it it doesn't have the
56:59 concept of typography in it it's
57:02 basically just taking sort
57:04 of like mathematical amalgamations of
57:08 hundreds of images and then sort of
57:10 averaging them into a single noisy image
57:12 and den noising them so it has no
57:15 awareness of what's actually in the
57:16 image um even though it seems impossible
57:20 that that's how it works oh that one's
57:22 really cool the Central Park with people
57:25 on a on a checkerboard it doesn't look
57:28 like people licking the Big Apple but
57:32 yeah anyway that's kind of cool so
57:35 that's Dolly within uh within chat gbt
57:37 let me show you one other thing that it
57:39 can do that's just wild um Dolly has
57:43 really good is the prompt saved as an
57:46 ALT tag by any chance that's a good
57:51 question um let me do save image as
57:56 yeah it's not it's not saving the prompt
57:59 like stable diffusion in mid Journey
58:01 when you save the images it generally
58:03 Saves The Prompt as the file name or or
58:05 a good chunk of
58:08 it um so it doesn't look like it's doing
58:11 that and then let's pop over and
58:17 see if I do get
58:24 info
58:36 file
58:38 service there's no there's no obvious
58:42 metadata like there's no comments there
58:44 might be some in there but I don't know
58:47 I don't think
58:48 so I don't think so but check check this
58:52 out so we're going to do um
58:57 I have an idea to create a picture
59:01 book that
59:04 has photos with dozens and dozens of
59:09 objects and the
59:12 person looking at the book has to find
59:14 specific objects within the rooms period
59:20 can you give
59:23 me four different
59:26 creative rooms and the objects that
59:29 might be contained within them for each
59:31 room give me 15
59:36 objects of course a Victorian
59:43 Library a modern
59:46 kitchen good like
59:50 that Tropical Greenhouse so hanging
59:54 airplants watering can with a flower
59:56 Motif moss covered statue so again like
1:00:01 I am I am putting essentially zero
1:00:04 creative energy into you know coming up
1:00:07 with some concept here and it just sort
1:00:09 of blurts this [ __ ] out and so now what
1:00:12 I can do is I can
1:00:13 go that's awesome I'd like you to create
1:00:17 landscape oriented images of the rooms
1:00:21 period the rooms should
1:00:24 have
1:00:25 at least a 100 objects and Scattered
1:00:28 amongst them are the 15 that you listed
1:00:32 above for each room
1:00:34 period make the photography style
1:00:38 sophisticated and the lighting dramatic
1:00:41 as if filmed by Annie libowitz or some
1:00:45 famous architecture
1:00:48 photographer
1:00:50 period all right let's see what we do it
1:00:53 might kick me out cuz I said Annie Leo
1:00:55 sometimes it doesn't like you using real
1:00:57 people's names but looks like it's going
1:01:00 so so now you'll see this the what what
1:01:02 I'm demonstrating here is what they call
1:01:04 Prompt coherence which is if you if you
1:01:07 ask mid journey to include too many
1:01:09 objects in it it gets really confused
1:01:11 and it'll like merge you know if you ask
1:01:14 for like a llama and a turtle it'll give
1:01:16 you like a llama turtle and Dolly's
1:01:20 really good at distinguishing the
1:01:22 specific elements that you ask for so
1:01:25 what we should get is four rooms with
1:01:27 lots of of objects in them and then you
1:01:29 know we could go check our list but I've
1:01:32 done this now five or six times and it's
1:01:34 it's pretty
1:01:36 amazing all right so there's our
1:01:40 rooms
1:01:44 so there's all sorts of little objects
1:01:46 in here doesn't really have hundreds of
1:01:49 objects this does that's pretty good the
1:01:51 kitchen kitchen's not bad the modern
1:01:53 kitchen
1:01:56 Greenhouse is great the Victorian
1:01:58 Greenhouse with all the objects so let's
1:02:00 go look at what
1:02:03 our things were for our Victorian or
1:02:06 Tropical Greenhouse hanging airplants
1:02:08 brightly colored orchids watering can
1:02:10 with a flower flower
1:02:15 Motif can we see a flower a watering can
1:02:18 with a flower Motif yes yes why yes we
1:02:23 can
1:02:26 um can I open this in a new tab yes I
1:02:30 can where is it oh no it just download
1:02:33 it that's okay we'll go grab
1:02:38 it so look there's our watering can with
1:02:42 a flower Motif what else do we have here
1:02:48 um uh uh uh uh ferns a stone pathway
1:02:53 there's your stone pathway
1:02:56 butterfly resting on a leaf there's a
1:02:58 butterfly resting on a
1:03:02 stone there's a butterfly resting on a
1:03:07 leaf I mean isn't this [ __ ]
1:03:10 insane I mean come on Cactus with a
1:03:13 blooming flower there's
1:03:15 cacti we got one with a blooming flower
1:03:18 come on Dolly don't let me down now
1:03:21 people are counting on
1:03:23 you
1:03:25 it could just me being old and bad
1:03:28 eyes um wooden bench with a straw hat
1:03:31 there's the wooden
1:03:32 bench no straw hat but anyway pretty
1:03:36 slick right I mean amazing can you ask
1:03:39 it to generate something that is devoid
1:03:41 of AI surrealistic style
1:03:49 sure okay this is
1:03:51 fantastic I'd like you to help me create
1:03:55 an image
1:03:56 style that is not quite
1:04:02 so
1:04:04 surrealist and photographic period can
1:04:07 you
1:04:08 do four style
1:04:11 variations for the Tropical
1:04:15 Greenhouse where one is a very raw
1:04:20 sketch one is a watercolor one is a
1:04:25 children's book illustration and one is
1:04:30 the style of your
1:04:36 choice yeah let's go that's it's an
1:04:38 interesting exercise but I mean the
1:04:40 answer is yes right a lot of a lot of
1:04:44 this is here's here's something that I
1:04:45 think we're going to see moving forward
1:04:50 is artists are going to start using
1:04:53 these tools
1:04:55 at a way higher level a way more
1:04:57 sophisticated level than most people so
1:05:00 what most people are going to do is make
1:05:02 me a picture of a dog right and then
1:05:05 they're going to get a picture of a dog
1:05:06 and these tools are going to kind of
1:05:09 default to to whatever their default
1:05:11 training is and so what you're going to
1:05:13 get is a lot a lot a lot of images that
1:05:15 are all kind of the same right and
1:05:17 that's why that's why a lot of what you
1:05:19 see right now all has the sameness to it
1:05:21 cuz people aren't really getting
1:05:22 creative with it but what's going to
1:05:24 happen happen is creative professionals
1:05:26 are going to take their um their
1:05:29 creative eye their skills and go okay I
1:05:32 don't want something like everyone else
1:05:33 did I want cool unique interesting [ __ ]
1:05:36 and
1:05:38 so so here's that one that's pretty good
1:05:41 that's the little sketch I like
1:05:45 that there's the I guess that's the
1:05:47 children's book illustration oh that's
1:05:49 watercolor
1:05:50 painting there's the children's book
1:05:53 illustration and that's an art newvo
1:05:56 style I wouldn't really call that art
1:05:58 newvo it's got some some of the objects
1:05:59 are art newvo and oh actually you know
1:06:02 what the top of the greenhouse it is let
1:06:06 me let me open this up in a new tab
1:06:08 that's
1:06:12 [Music]
1:06:18 interesting look at that art new vau
1:06:20 action up in the
1:06:21 corner that's pretty slick
1:06:27 there's our Stone path still kept our
1:06:29 Stone
1:06:33 path pretty
1:06:36 slick I mean I don't know about you but
1:06:38 like this
1:06:40 is I mean I mean come on people like
1:06:45 like this is kind of a like a silly dumb
1:06:48 idea but it's actually not a bad idea
1:06:50 like this would be a fun book find the
1:06:51 objects right like a little educational
1:06:53 book you could pick a style pick a
1:06:56 category you could do it with Dinosaurs
1:06:58 animals fuzzy animals spiky animals
1:07:01 turtles you could do a whole book of
1:07:02 turtles find the objects in the in the
1:07:05 turtle
1:07:07 pond toss it into you know Kindle
1:07:10 electronic publishing and pop this thing
1:07:12 out there
1:07:13 now here's the deal there are these
1:07:15 people you can make money with what
1:07:18 they're promising you is go learn to
1:07:21 make these image things and go to Amazon
1:07:23 eBooks and you're going to be rich no
1:07:25 here's the problem everyone has access
1:07:27 to this technology now right or soon
1:07:29 soon to have lots of people are going to
1:07:31 have access to
1:07:32 this so what we're all going to have to
1:07:35 do is figure out creative use cases that
1:07:39 are not just the same thing everyone
1:07:40 else is doing please post that one in
1:07:42 Discord so pretty okay yeah happy to do
1:07:46 that
1:07:53 um
1:07:57 Show and
1:07:59 Tell
1:08:01 Dolly three paste
1:08:06 bang lookie thereare lookie thereare
1:08:08 that's a good one that's a pretty
1:08:12 one pretty pretty pretty
1:08:17 pretty yeah those are the other ones are
1:08:20 okay that art new B one's really slick I
1:08:22 kind of like the black and white one
1:08:23 though with a little few touches of
1:08:25 color in
1:08:33 it I think one of my boys just got
1:08:36 [Laughter]
1:08:42 stoned let's see open a new
1:08:46 tab and go over
1:08:49 here is that
1:08:53 it
1:08:55 yeah that's pretty
1:08:57 cool oh you know be a cool
1:09:01 style no Kyle
1:09:06 what you know this channel is just me
1:09:08 sitting here [ __ ] talking to myself
1:09:11 right I just re Firefly I just received
1:09:14 access to do do this afternoon yippe yay
1:09:18 far out oh by the way so if you um if
1:09:23 you're like hey this chat GPT shit's
1:09:25 really cool I'm going to go get me some
1:09:27 and you go spend your 20 bucks and then
1:09:29 you go to do a new chat and you don't
1:09:31 see all this [ __ ] and you're like
1:09:33 where's my stuff I paid my 20 bucks I
1:09:35 need my stuff go over to your name and
1:09:39 go to settings and beta I don't know why
1:09:42 open AI did it this way but tough [ __ ]
1:09:45 the what their technology does is
1:09:47 literally miraculous so we can put up
1:09:49 with a little bad interface so go to
1:09:51 Beta features and then turn that [ __ ] on
1:09:54 you have to explicitly turn it
1:09:57 on and you should have access to all
1:10:01 these everyone has uh you have to turn
1:10:03 on browse with Bing you have to turn on
1:10:06 Advanced Data analysis you have to turn
1:10:08 on plugins it looks like they're just
1:10:10 giving people Dolly 3 um and then the
1:10:13 default is just default gp4 but if you
1:10:16 click on default now you should have
1:10:18 this image here where you can upload
1:10:21 images so go get thee to chat GPT and
1:10:26 pay your dumb 20 bucks because this
1:10:29 stuff is so it I don't know it's just
1:10:35 it's a big deal to
1:10:37 be to be able to use these things
1:10:40 without having to jump to different
1:10:42 tools right to to to just be in a
1:10:45 conversation and then go oh I want to
1:10:47 kind of visualize that somehow and it
1:10:49 just [ __ ] does it and it does it in
1:10:51 seconds and it's good I'm hosting a
1:10:53 meeting with with other AI Workshop
1:10:55 creators would you like to join sure are
1:10:58 you you're doing that right now and
1:11:01 major
1:11:05 gift are you doing it some other time
1:11:09 I'm happy to happy to chat happy to join
1:11:11 a little workshop
1:11:15 action all
1:11:20 [Music]
1:11:22 right there sir
1:11:25 just the tip just the tip is that you
1:11:27 want you want mid Journey just the tip
1:11:30 that's what you're looking for Ron yeah
1:11:32 I can do mid
1:11:35 Journey all
1:11:37 right wait before you do mid Journey
1:11:40 welcome to Chad
1:11:53 ad
1:11:55 [Music]
1:12:00 back here live at the waterfront village
1:12:02 with my friend the zombie Jonathan
1:12:04 you're looking good Jonathan just got an
1:12:06 awesome face paint job what do you think
1:12:08 I like turtles all right you're great
1:12:12 zombie good times here at the waterfront
1:12:15 Village open for the good
1:12:19 here all right you're a good
1:12:22 zombie
1:12:26 okay all right we're we're going to do
1:12:28 we're going to do the uh the mid Journey
1:12:30 from what did you say from tip to Shaft
1:12:32 or what I don't know what you said but
1:12:34 from beginning to end I think is what
1:12:36 you meant to say I don't think you meant
1:12:37 to send me down some sexually suggestive
1:12:41 Corridor I just chose to go there on my
1:12:44 own um so we're going to start at the
1:12:47 website which the first set of disasters
1:12:50 for Mid Journey starts at the
1:12:52 website
1:12:55 but here we go
1:12:58 so go to Mid journey.com
1:13:00 and then you come to this lovely page M
1:13:04 lovely it's like the matrix it's so good
1:13:08 it's so exciting what can we do here
1:13:10 well if you want to actually use the
1:13:12 tool you have to click on this thing
1:13:14 that says join the beta now if you don't
1:13:16 know what a beta is or if you're older
1:13:19 than 23 you probably can't read that so
1:13:23 get out your magn Ying glass
1:13:26 Grandma yeah got click on the little
1:13:28 [ __ ] playing with these young people
1:13:30 tools um so click on that and then watch
1:13:33 the magic that
1:13:36 happens thank you Sherry Banks all right
1:13:39 wait what huh what what what is where
1:13:43 what where am I what is this what is
1:13:46 this who are you people um or you can
1:13:49 start with the mid Jour mid Journey
1:13:51 Discord server yeah I know that's but
1:13:53 that's no that's what that's what I'm
1:13:55 showing them though Herod is that they
1:13:58 can start with it but most people don't
1:13:59 know what Discord is so what I'm showing
1:14:01 you is if you go to the mid Journey
1:14:03 website it takes you to this thing
1:14:05 called Discord which is a completely
1:14:07 different application now I mean Discord
1:14:10 is not that bad it's just it's just
1:14:12 super geeky um down the left hand side
1:14:15 these are different Discord servers
1:14:16 they're B think of them as different
1:14:18 communities so the the mid Journey one
1:14:21 has a little boat it has a really
1:14:25 kind of stupid little icon for as
1:14:26 sophisticated as the art is it's got a
1:14:28 pretty bad icon but um that's it and
1:14:31 then this list here is like all the
1:14:33 different conversations in the mid
1:14:35 Journey thing so basically you have to
1:14:37 do some setup stuff at the beginning
1:14:39 just kind of follow their instructions
1:14:40 it's not that bad and then within mid
1:14:44 Journey you've got these newbie channels
1:14:46 and those are where you can go make
1:14:47 images I'm going to hop over to um the
1:14:51 AI Salon Discord so this is our AI salon
1:14:53 on Discord um and we have our own little
1:14:57 mid Journey channel here and I just like
1:14:59 using it cuz cuz a it's good to do stuff
1:15:01 in the salon um but also it's just it's
1:15:04 a lot less
1:15:05 busy okay so when you're in a channel
1:15:07 that's got mid Journey there's there's
1:15:09 some pictures that people are making oh
1:15:11 that one's really cool is that Roger oh
1:15:13 that's Claire's Claire that's stunning
1:15:15 that's really cool wow those are nice
1:15:20 um yeah Claire's killing it okay so how
1:15:23 you do this here is to create an image
1:15:27 with mid Journey you type slash I am and
1:15:29 then it'll it'll pop up a little list of
1:15:32 functions and the top one here is
1:15:35 Imagine and so that's the mid Journey
1:15:37 prompt to make an image slash imagine
1:15:40 and then you have this prompt box here
1:15:43 and in the prompt box you can say
1:15:44 whatever you want um let's say
1:15:50 a
1:15:52 photograph of the St Louis
1:15:55 Arch at
1:15:58 Sunset with God Rays beaming from inside
1:16:02 the St Louis
1:16:05 arch with St Louis in the background and
1:16:09 the Mississippi River in the foreground
1:16:20 period yeah let me just leave it like
1:16:24 that for now and now I'm going to do
1:16:25 dash
1:16:27 dash
1:16:30 a and then I'm going to put 16 colon 9
1:16:35 now why am I putting D- AR 16 colon 9
1:16:39 because I want it to be a
1:16:41 landscape um image of the of the skyline
1:16:45 actually you know what I'm going to do
1:16:47 nine uh let's do 2 by3 let's make it a
1:16:49 tall one so I'm going to go 2
1:16:52 by3 um
1:16:54 D- AR stands for aspect ratio and and
1:16:56 2.3 is the is the proportions um this is
1:17:00 part of the problem with with mid
1:17:02 journey and stable diffusion things like
1:17:04 that if you're brand brand new to this
1:17:05 stuff is that you kind of have to learn
1:17:08 this programming language and that's one
1:17:09 of the reasons I really like the dolly
1:17:11 stuff in chat gbt because you don't have
1:17:13 to do it now why would you go through
1:17:15 this pain in the ass cuz mid Journey
1:17:17 really is the best in terms of just
1:17:19 quality of image so you hit return and
1:17:23 it's going to go off and it's going to
1:17:24 make us four variations which AI would
1:17:26 you recommend to obtain the sentiment of
1:17:29 a
1:17:30 document which one
1:17:33 um for that one I mean they're all
1:17:37 they're all really good at analizing
1:17:40 documents the sentiment of a document
1:17:42 but um uh
1:17:45 claw. has um 100,000 token context
1:17:48 window which means you can put documents
1:17:51 of about 75,000 words in there there and
1:17:55 that's that's pretty swell
1:18:00 so okay
1:18:03 so here's our four images of the St
1:18:06 Louis Arch they're not bad but it was
1:18:08 kind of a shitty prompt on my part
1:18:12 um and I actually don't like it being a
1:18:15 tall aspect ratio so let's go ahead and
1:18:17 grab this prompt
1:18:22 again and I'm going to make it a
1:18:24 landscape aspect ratio which is 16 by9
1:18:27 right so that's the same aspect ratio as
1:18:30 your HDTV all you people watching the
1:18:33 Taylor Swift foot football game tonight
1:18:35 you know 16 by9 cuz that's what your TV
1:18:38 looks like so every time they cut the
1:18:41 tailor and you're like
1:18:42 w that's 16 by9 okay oh wait oh and oh
1:18:48 okay see what I just did there cuz I'm
1:18:50 an old guy trying to use young people's
1:18:52 tools
1:18:54 I just pasted The Prompt into the chat
1:18:56 without typing slash imagine now if you
1:19:00 don't know if you're like just doing
1:19:03 this for the first time you're going to
1:19:04 do this a lot I do this all the time I
1:19:07 get excited I paste a prompt in there I
1:19:09 hit return I go do something else I'm
1:19:10 like where's my pictures I'm like oh no
1:19:12 so I'm going to delete that message yes
1:19:15 I'm going to delete it delete and then
1:19:17 I'm going to come in here I'm going to
1:19:18 type slash
1:19:19 imagine and then I'm going to paste that
1:19:21 prompt back in and now we're going to
1:19:23 make
1:19:26 that um Herod skinny I want a stable
1:19:30 diffusion contest yesterday and got a
1:19:32 bunch of dream Studio tokens oh that's
1:19:34 super cool Herod
1:19:36 congratulations I've never used it
1:19:38 before but guess I am now I played you
1:19:40 know dream Studio wasn't bad dream
1:19:42 studio is one of those ones that that
1:19:44 I've gone back to three or four times I
1:19:46 always forget the name of it cuz there's
1:19:48 like dream Booth dream Studio dream
1:19:52 diffusion diffus Fusion dreamer there's
1:19:54 like 8 million variations of that of
1:19:57 that
1:19:58 name so that's really cool you did that
1:20:00 congrats har that's really that's really
1:20:03 slick all right so so what I'm noticing
1:20:07 is the these are all kind of generic and
1:20:10 shitty images like that isn't even close
1:20:13 to looking like the St Louis Arch that's
1:20:15 way too wide they changed the
1:20:16 proportions that's way too skinny that's
1:20:19 so they're kind of shitty so I'm going
1:20:20 to show you a little trick here which is
1:20:23 kind of fun I'm going to take this
1:20:26 little prompt I did which is not great
1:20:29 and I'm going to go to a different tool
1:20:30 I'm going to go to a website called po
1:20:34 and PO is one of these large language
1:20:37 models you can do gp4 in here you can do
1:20:40 Claude in here you can do their things
1:20:43 in here but po also has these things
1:20:46 called Bots and one of the Bots is
1:20:49 called mid journey and so what mid
1:20:52 Journey does is this this is a bot that
1:20:53 has a bunch of the the the rules for how
1:20:57 to write mid Journey prompts built into
1:20:59 it so you can just paste in a shitty mid
1:21:02 Journey prompt and then it will rewrite
1:21:05 it as a good mid Journey prompt color
1:21:08 photo of St Louis Arch at Sunset with
1:21:11 God Rays beaming from inside the St
1:21:12 Louis Arch and the Mississippi River in
1:21:15 the foreground it actually didn't change
1:21:17 anything hm never had that happen
1:21:21 before Oh here we go oh geez now it did
1:21:27 something wow that was weird Okay color
1:21:29 photograph
1:21:31 of majestic a inspiring Golden Light
1:21:35 Illuminating the arch casting Long
1:21:37 Shadows creating a sense of wonder bump
1:21:39 bump bump calm Waters vibrant Skyline
1:21:42 harmonious blend of Nature and human
1:21:44 creation Now look a masterpiece of
1:21:47 photography Canon EOS 5D markv Kodak
1:21:51 ector 100 color film Canon EF 24x 70 um
1:21:56 millimeter f2.8 2 USM lens right so um
1:22:01 Christopher Nolan uh Emmanuel luety
1:22:05 Annie Lovitz um Alexander McQueen right
1:22:09 so it's got all this new fancy [ __ ] in
1:22:12 it so I'm going to copy this pop on back
1:22:16 over to dord and then I'm going go slash
1:22:19 imagine don't forget your slash imaginer
1:22:21 you look like a dumb dumb like I did you
1:22:23 know he says he knows a lot but he seems
1:22:26 like a bit of a dumb Dum um and then I'm
1:22:28 going to paste in that big long prompt
1:22:31 and now we're going to see what it can
1:22:32 do with that we'll see if we get back
1:22:34 better results
1:22:37 um this kind of halfhazard
1:22:41 approach um if you're more of a control
1:22:44 freak if you want to take a more
1:22:46 systematized approach to prompting you
1:22:47 can absolutely do that I'm kind of more
1:22:50 like you know add shot gun blast of
1:22:54 ideas um both approaches work um within
1:22:58 the AI Salon um there's a number of
1:23:01 people who are amazing at creating art
1:23:04 that approach it in a very scientific
1:23:06 systematized way there are other people
1:23:09 that are just like here's what I think
1:23:11 they just put in ideas and go
1:23:15 um but all these tools are are just
1:23:18 getting better and better and better um
1:23:21 and you know take your kind of Whisper
1:23:24 of a concept and turn it into something
1:23:26 decent these are I I would I would argue
1:23:30 that these are all solid fails like that
1:23:33 that does not look like the St Louis
1:23:35 Arch like like they're just all
1:23:37 proportionally wrong like that's too
1:23:39 tall that's close but it's not that
1:23:42 close to the water that's not even
1:23:44 symmetrical that's got suspension this
1:23:48 is the St Louis Arch Bridge that's got
1:23:50 suspension cables coming off it that's
1:23:53 [ __ ]
1:23:54 hilarious um let's go let's go um let's
1:23:59 go try
1:24:01 something I'm going to grab
1:24:05 this and we're going to go to chat
1:24:09 JPay and we're going to see how DOI does
1:24:12 with this
1:24:14 [Music]
1:24:18 prompt so you go to your Dolly
1:24:21 mode oh that's the other thing right now
1:24:23 you've got all these different modes
1:24:25 browse with Bing Advanced Data analysis
1:24:27 plugins I have a feeling at some point
1:24:29 here in the very near future this shit's
1:24:32 going to get all integrated into this I
1:24:34 I I I have this sneaking suspicion that
1:24:37 this ghettoization of features is not
1:24:39 going to is not going to be here for
1:24:41 long okay uh oh I didn't actually choose
1:24:44 it did I no
1:24:46 okay so I'm going to say
1:24:51 um
1:24:55 Siri
1:24:56 Siri did you take over my machine oh she
1:25:00 she did Siri go
1:25:03 away
1:25:05 [Laughter]
1:25:10 okay oh no come on man Siri can I have
1:25:14 my computer back Siri can I have C can I
1:25:19 have my microphone
1:25:21 back
1:25:27 [ __ ] it I'm just going to paste in
1:25:32 the I just pasted in the prompt oh see
1:25:37 now now she gave me my microphone back
1:25:38 of
1:25:39 course let's let's see let's see what
1:25:41 Dolly does with that mid Journey prompt
1:25:43 this this should be
1:25:44 interesting first what first it'll be
1:25:46 interesting to see if it's a 16x9
1:25:51 image
1:25:54 and then it'll be interesting yeah I'm
1:25:56 in St Louis and not a fan of those
1:25:58 crypto Joe yeah they were they were bad
1:25:59 right I grew up I spent um I spent like
1:26:03 two or three years at Scott Air Force
1:26:05 Base over over across the river from St
1:26:11 Louis see that one's that one's not bad
1:26:15 I mean the sort of weird curving River
1:26:18 isn't right right the Mississippi goes
1:26:20 straight but there is a bridge up River
1:26:23 of St Louis that's that's kind of
1:26:31 close it's still the the proportions of
1:26:33 that are
1:26:35 weird so are they those are weird too at
1:26:38 least that one's kind of stylized and
1:26:39 cool like at least these have some I
1:26:41 mean these are not
1:26:43 bad apparently apparently you know you
1:26:46 can't do anything in St Louis with uh
1:26:48 this generative AI stuff cuz what there
1:26:51 haven't been enough pictures of the St
1:26:53 Louis arch really very bizarre but
1:26:56 whatever it could it could have been my
1:26:58 my
1:26:59 prompt
1:27:02 uh all right so oh so let's let's go
1:27:05 back to to Mid Journey for a second let
1:27:07 me show you a couple other
1:27:09 things so you generate you generate your
1:27:11 images here and let me let me go find an
1:27:14 image that actually doesn't
1:27:17 suck I've got one in here
1:27:19 somewhere I could also do this with
1:27:21 someone else's
1:27:23 image yeah I'll do it with someone
1:27:25 else's image Claire I'm gonna if you're
1:27:27 in here I'm gonna I'm going to grab one
1:27:29 of your images okay so these are kind of
1:27:31 cool that one's really creepy so um so's
1:27:36 that one look at look at the hands
1:27:37 there's like hands above hands below
1:27:39 it's like the the sort of crazy hands
1:27:42 actually we I think we're going to we're
1:27:44 going to do that one because it's just
1:27:46 so creepy okay so when you generate your
1:27:49 images with mid Journey you get this
1:27:51 little four up thing and then you get
1:27:53 these these buttons the the top row of
1:27:56 buttons U one through four St you know
1:27:58 these are the images one two 3 four so
1:28:01 that stands for upscale this stands for
1:28:03 variations that uh recycle thing means I
1:28:06 hate all four of these just redo just re
1:28:09 resubmit the prompt um you you can you
1:28:12 can use the same prompt over and over
1:28:14 and over again and you'll always get
1:28:15 different images even if they're in the
1:28:17 same style because it's generative AI is
1:28:20 actually generating a original art as
1:28:24 much as there's all this this noise
1:28:26 about it's stealing it's copying and
1:28:28 pasting it's not it's not the way it
1:28:30 works um has it been trained on
1:28:32 copywritten data with the exception of
1:28:35 the Adobe Firefly stuff yes it has um is
1:28:38 it copying and pasting from other
1:28:40 people's work no it's not it's not how
1:28:41 the technology works so that's why you
1:28:43 always get different things each each
1:28:44 time you do it um but but let's say we
1:28:48 kind of like the creepy of this
1:28:49 creepiness of this top one so I'm going
1:28:51 to hit V1 variation one and then that's
1:28:54 going to submit a new prompt for me down
1:28:56 at the bottom here making variations of
1:28:58 that one so we're going to get four
1:29:00 different ones that'll be very similar
1:29:02 in
1:29:04 style the other thing you'll notice when
1:29:06 it makes images it starts out as this
1:29:07 sort of vague blob and then it gets less
1:29:10 Blobby and then less Blobby and then
1:29:12 it's like a blurry version and then it
1:29:13 gets sharper and sharper and sharper
1:29:16 that's when they call these things
1:29:18 diffusion models all of these images
1:29:20 start fully diffused where you can't see
1:29:23 anything and then over a series of like
1:29:25 50 steps or 30 steps it Den noises the
1:29:29 image um and and sort of D diffuses it
1:29:32 and makes it sharper so that's how
1:29:33 they're actually
1:29:35 produced um I don't like any of those so
1:29:37 we're going to go back up to the one
1:29:40 that we liked or that I
1:29:47 liked all right so it's number one so I
1:29:50 I didn't like the variation so I'm just
1:29:51 going to go with the the original up
1:29:52 here I'm going to hit U1 which is
1:29:54 upscale
1:29:59 one scroll to the bottom and here's my
1:30:02 upscaling image
1:30:06 one oh by the way everyone if you'd be
1:30:08 so kind I know there's there's a bunch
1:30:10 of people in there hey everyone my name
1:30:11 is Kyle Shannon this is the AI learning
1:30:13 lab and if you would uh share the live
1:30:17 and uh you know hit the hearts and do
1:30:20 whatever you do for and engagement on
1:30:23 the Tik
1:30:25 Tok cuz uh I don't ask for that enough I
1:30:28 get into my geeking out and I don't ask
1:30:30 for that enough but I would really
1:30:32 appreciate it if you follow the channel
1:30:33 if you like this content I make videos I
1:30:35 do these lives every flipping
1:30:38 night um okay so thank you very much for
1:30:42 that and by the way for the Irregulars
1:30:44 we're up to 25,000 likes tonight you
1:30:46 guys are
1:30:48 nuts okay so there's the image we
1:30:50 created
1:30:51 now
1:30:52 now that we've upscaled an image we get
1:30:54 a whole bunch of new buttons here and
1:30:57 there we can vary it so we could say
1:30:59 that's nice but I want to create
1:31:01 variations of it you can vary by region
1:31:03 which is called in painting so I could
1:31:05 grab the fingers and say remove these or
1:31:07 whatever um but there's also these Zoom
1:31:10 settings you can pan or you can um uh
1:31:14 zoom out so this image is pretty cool as
1:31:18 is but let's
1:31:21 see
1:31:22 I think it would be cool if we saw if we
1:31:25 kept the bottom kind of the same but we
1:31:27 zoomed up and saw her face right so if I
1:31:30 say if I click the up Arrow what it's
1:31:33 going to do is it's going to extend the
1:31:35 top of the image and create a new
1:31:37 generative image at the top of the image
1:31:40 so I'll do
1:31:43 that and then I'm also going to do a
1:31:45 zoom out 2x we're going to do two
1:31:47 different images one's just going to be
1:31:49 where we're going to make it really tall
1:31:50 and skinny with the woman's face on on
1:31:52 it and the other one is we're just going
1:31:53 to zoom out so that subject is going to
1:31:56 be farther back in the image it's going
1:31:58 to fill out what's around it um or you
1:32:01 can start with the oh yeah okay we did
1:32:03 that got
1:32:06 it so so which one's this this
1:32:11 is is this the zoom out uh oh so so
1:32:16 what's happening here is this is the new
1:32:18 part of the image the top of the image
1:32:21 and then when this finishes it'll add
1:32:23 the bottom back on to it that's a little
1:32:25 confusing thing with their interface but
1:32:27 it's pretty pretty slick and then these
1:32:29 are the zoom out ones right so
1:32:32 we're that's
1:32:34 the the original image is just that
1:32:37 little piece in the center and all the
1:32:39 stuff around the outside is the new
1:32:40 stuff so there's four variations around
1:32:43 the outside so that one's still
1:32:46 going uh uh uh uh
1:32:51 uh
1:32:53 that's still
1:32:59 going so here are the
1:33:03 faces I think oh that one's really cool
1:33:05 she's looking at the camera here all
1:33:07 right so let's do that one so we'll do
1:33:10 upscale so 1 two 3 4 so that's the one
1:33:13 where she's looking at the camera so we
1:33:14 do upscale two for that
1:33:17 one and
1:33:20 then here's the ones where we zoomed out
1:33:22 right so this image was kind of just her
1:33:24 chin and the bowl and I think this this
1:33:27 blue one the contrast of the blue with
1:33:29 the blue of the bowl is really good
1:33:31 that's actually really beautiful so I'm
1:33:34 going to upscale one that
1:33:37 one and then there we
1:33:41 go pretty slick
1:33:43 huh how
1:33:45 beautiful now if you're creeped out by
1:33:48 the hands that's just cuz you don't
1:33:49 appreciate fine art that's on you that's
1:33:53 on you people listen you with your
1:33:57 needing to conform with traditional
1:34:00 hand anatomy situations that's just
1:34:04 that's a u
1:34:07 problem that one's gorgeous that's the
1:34:10 winner that's art art so I'm going to
1:34:13 copy the image and then here I'll show
1:34:15 you what what we do over here in AI in
1:34:17 the AI Salon is we got a little showoff
1:34:20 Channel show and H so I'm going to go
1:34:23 over here and
1:34:25 say um stole this from
1:34:32 [Laughter]
1:34:34 Claire let's see
1:34:37 Claire I'm
1:34:40 Claire and moded it
1:34:45 moded
1:34:46 it love this wait
1:34:49 love this thank thanks
1:34:53 Claire so you can steal from people just
1:34:56 thank
1:34:59 them isn't that beautiful that's really
1:35:04 cool so this is oh thank you Sherry
1:35:06 Banks I mean this is like like why go
1:35:09 through the [ __ ] of mid journey is
1:35:11 just the the the quality of the images
1:35:14 is just I don't know it's damn good he's
1:35:17 damn good all right Kyle how is crypto
1:35:20 playing a role in this River of AI
1:35:22 Innovation so let me let me go show you
1:35:26 something where can I hang
1:35:29 on if I go here and I go here and
1:35:34 I scrolly
1:35:38 scroll to here see
1:35:44 this
1:35:47 this see where it says World coin unique
1:35:50 humans2 million 322 3 uh
1:36:22 human ver or yeah like like uh verified
1:36:27 human identity system so I got one of
1:36:30 these and see where it says verified at
1:36:32 orb so what the orb is is you go to
1:36:35 physical locations and this is going to
1:36:38 absolutely freak some of you out but
1:36:39 that's okay that's why I'm
1:36:42 here you can be freaked out all you want
1:36:44 this isn't your eye so you walk up to
1:36:47 the orb and you look into it and it
1:36:49 scans it actually scans I thought it was
1:36:51 your iris it scans your retina and then
1:36:53 what it does is it compares the
1:36:56 basically the fingerprint of your retina
1:36:58 to all of the other people who have
1:37:00 gotten one of these World IDs and it and
1:37:02 it verifies that you're a unique human
1:37:04 and if you're a unique human then you
1:37:07 get one of these
1:37:08 IDs now you're like but Kyle that's
1:37:13 [ __ ] stupid that you did that and why
1:37:15 would we ever need anything like this I
1:37:17 will tell you we are about to enter the
1:37:20 2024 election season it is going to be
1:37:23 the
1:37:25 biggest just train
1:37:27 wreck nightmare of misinformation and
1:37:31 like like all this image generating that
1:37:33 we're doing now there's going to be
1:37:35 videos there's going to be pictures
1:37:36 there's going to be audio recordings
1:37:38 there's going to be reverse catfishing
1:37:40 where some politician will have done
1:37:42 something bad but they say oh no that's
1:37:44 just Ai and then there's going to be
1:37:46 other people that get blamed for [ __ ]
1:37:48 that it really was AI it's going to be a
1:37:50 [ __ ] nightmare
1:37:54 and what's going to happen is probably
1:37:57 not next year but my my suspicion is
1:37:59 sometime early in 2025 after the dust
1:38:02 settles from the election whatever
1:38:06 happens we need to do something about
1:38:08 this so now imagine a system imagine if
1:38:12 you had a Facebook like social platform
1:38:16 a twitter-like social platform um where
1:38:21 you knew that the people on it were
1:38:25 actually people they were verifiable
1:38:28 unique
1:38:29 people that's what this is the
1:38:30 foundation for then you could say oh so
1:38:34 so not only is that a verified person
1:38:36 then you could use crypto to say
1:38:38 blockchain to say not only is that Kyle
1:38:41 but Kyle wrote this article and this
1:38:43 article is also blockchain
1:38:45 verified and I can now verify that this
1:38:49 article was written by Kyle and it
1:38:51 hasn't been modified since he published
1:38:53 it on whatever the date was and I can
1:38:55 verify that on the
1:38:57 blockchain that's I so so I think that
1:39:01 AI is going to absolutely Drive the use
1:39:05 of blockchain nft all the crypto
1:39:08 technology um because what the Crypt
1:39:12 Bros kind of [ __ ] up on is a they had
1:39:15 really bad interface B they've got
1:39:17 really bad security right the fact that
1:39:19 the fact that I can just you know
1:39:22 someone can hack a Twitter account and
1:39:25 send me what looks like a trusted link
1:39:28 to a project I'm a part of and in one
1:39:30 click get my entire wallet drained like
1:39:34 that's there's never going to be broad
1:39:36 adoption but when you have a problem
1:39:40 like what we're likely going to see in
1:39:42 2024 you're going to need to start
1:39:44 creating safe
1:39:47 um
1:39:49 Havens for information sanity and so I
1:39:53 think crypto and nfts get kind of get
1:39:58 get small they become less about the
1:40:00 making billions of dollars and more
1:40:02 about the utility which is what they
1:40:03 should have been doing from the the
1:40:05 [ __ ] get-go but the nft Bros are in a
1:40:08 well-deserved corner right now they need
1:40:10 to sit in there until they get their
1:40:11 [ __ ] [ __ ] together but anyway I think
1:40:14 I I believe in the technology and I
1:40:17 think it's actually going to be really
1:40:19 necessary so anyway uh Brandon jet dude
1:40:23 I'm so pumped right now team no sleep
1:40:26 exact oh I got Dolly three yeah you're
1:40:28 not sleeping tonight just go go go go
1:40:31 make those
1:40:34 images that's [ __ ]
1:40:37 awesome that's good so anyway yeah so I
1:40:41 think the relationship between
1:40:43 blockchain and all this AI stuff is
1:40:45 going to be very very intimate
1:40:48 um um but it's but it's not
1:40:53 you can make money
1:40:56 with
1:40:58 um it's it's just not there yet so but
1:41:00 anyway the if if you're in the the other
1:41:03 thing about that Sam Alman
1:41:05 project
1:41:08 um so I'll I'll let the I know this
1:41:11 thing glitches when I when I swich when
1:41:14 I
1:41:14 switch deep fake a goo that's exactly
1:41:17 what it's going to be um okay so here's
1:41:21 the other thing about one of the other
1:41:23 reasons that I did the Sam Alman thing
1:41:25 the world ID one is I just wanted to
1:41:27 experience it and see what was there and
1:41:28 I think some platform like that is going
1:41:31 to be important and since open AI is so
1:41:34 well funded I think they have a really
1:41:36 good shot at becoming a trusted human
1:41:40 verified platform but the identity is
1:41:43 just one part of that platform there's
1:41:45 two other pieces um there's two other
1:41:48 pieces for the platform there's
1:41:50 worldcoin which is a cryptocurrency and
1:41:52 then there's the the payment processing
1:41:55 system so like think PayPal but
1:41:57 proprietary or or you know proprietary
1:42:00 to this network so you have those three
1:42:02 components an identity system a currency
1:42:06 and a payment platform so right now the
1:42:10 the worldcoin is reaching out to the
1:42:12 development community and saying hey
1:42:14 build a Twitter based on this platform
1:42:16 build the next eBay based on this
1:42:18 platform build the next um Facebook
1:42:21 built on this
1:42:24 platform you're going to be able to make
1:42:27 money and spend
1:42:30 money in communities where it's just
1:42:34 verified human beings there'll be no
1:42:36 Bots right you can you can create things
1:42:38 that you can't participate in that
1:42:40 platform unless you have a verified ID
1:42:43 well where how are you going to make
1:42:45 that world coin how are you going to
1:42:46 make that
1:42:49 money okay right now here's here's the
1:42:52 economy as flawed and [ __ ] up as it is
1:42:55 this is generally the econom is at some
1:42:58 level of stasis right this many people
1:43:01 work this many hours and generate this
1:43:03 much [ __ ] and this much money this much
1:43:06 Prosperity what's going to happen with
1:43:08 generative AI is that these people are
1:43:12 going to get more efficient they're
1:43:15 going to get more productive and so
1:43:17 productivity is going to go up at the
1:43:19 same time productivity is going up we're
1:43:22 going to need less people because these
1:43:24 AI tools are going to get better and
1:43:26 better and better at doing a lot of the
1:43:28 low-level repetitive tactical execution
1:43:31 that these people do so productivity is
1:43:33 going to go up and the need for human
1:43:36 beings to do that [ __ ] is going to go
1:43:39 down that's [ __ ] terrifying this
1:43:43 Gap is terrifying
1:43:47 right so what Sam alman's done with open
1:43:51 AI is he he flipped it from a nonprofit
1:43:54 to what's called a capped
1:43:57 for-profit and what that now is that
1:44:01 going to solve everything no I don't see
1:44:03 I think this Gap is probably a
1:44:05 short-term Gap right I think I think
1:44:07 ultimately this we we you know this will
1:44:09 close back up and do this but there's
1:44:11 going to be I don't know 3 to five years
1:44:14 of a [ __ ] [ __ ] show where not enough
1:44:16 people are working but there's all this
1:44:18 Prosperity being made and if it's just
1:44:21 PE firms in capitalism they're just
1:44:23 going to go [ __ ] it more profit for us T
1:44:26 sucks to be you right but I don't think
1:44:29 all companies are going to do that so I
1:44:31 think I think there are going to be
1:44:32 companies that cycle the you know the
1:44:35 extra productivity back to the people
1:44:37 and that's what world coin's all about
1:44:39 so that's why I did it um Abbott skinny
1:44:42 I quit therapy too oh no it just went
1:44:44 away can someone repin that I didn't
1:44:46 quite see what that
1:44:48 said isn't that wild about worldcoin
1:44:50 just amazing just amazing um now is
1:44:54 worldcoin going to be the one I don't
1:44:55 know might not be it might just be a
1:44:58 piece of [ __ ] could it be a scam and
1:44:59 they they're stealing all my stuff maybe
1:45:01 but I doubt it um they claim they're not
1:45:04 keeping any of the biometric data
1:45:06 because the only the only time they need
1:45:08 it is when they do that verification
1:45:10 against the other humans in the in the
1:45:12 database I quit therapy for chat GPT
1:45:15 after my prompt became better than my
1:45:16 therapist you know it's it's funny you
1:45:18 say that I think there are some people
1:45:22 that are afraid of that there are people
1:45:25 that talk
1:45:26 about AI companionship is like this
1:45:29 weird creepy thing
1:45:31 um I talked
1:45:34 to who was it in here was it Silver
1:45:39 Fox I think it was Silver Fox if it was
1:45:43 you Silver Fox let me know um I talked
1:45:45 to someone in here that was going
1:45:48 through some stuff
1:45:49 and she said
1:45:52 that pie so the the the chatbot pie that
1:45:56 you can talk it was you Sil Fox she was
1:45:58 going through some stuff she said pie
1:46:01 was more compassionate about all the
1:46:03 stuff she was going through and her
1:46:04 family was going through than her family
1:46:07 was and you know what's weird is even
1:46:10 though these robots can't feel right
1:46:12 they're just probability engines if you
1:46:14 if you understand what they do
1:46:15 technically they're like fancy
1:46:17 calculators it's it's staggering what
1:46:19 they do consider ing how they work
1:46:22 they're just like fancy calculators so
1:46:23 they don't have feelings but they're
1:46:26 large language models which means
1:46:28 they've been trained on human
1:46:30 communication right they've been trained
1:46:32 on most of the public internet and so
1:46:35 these these machines are basically a
1:46:38 reflection back to us of of
1:46:41 humanity so when you're interacting with
1:46:43 it and people say well the robot did
1:46:45 this the robot did that it's not really
1:46:47 what it's like when you interact with it
1:46:49 like like when I'm when I'm making the
1:46:50 those images in chat GPT and I'm just
1:46:52 talking to it kind of like I'm a
1:46:54 creative director and it's an art
1:46:55 director and we're having this back and
1:46:57 forth it feels weirdly human and these
1:47:01 things um interact with you in weirdly
1:47:04 human ways and and so you know what
1:47:07 Silver Fox experienced there I've
1:47:09 experienced the same thing I was kind of
1:47:11 doing a test with someone talking about
1:47:13 death and I mentioned something about my
1:47:16 mother dying she's she's already died
1:47:18 but um but pi freaked out and it went
1:47:22 whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa that's very
1:47:24 serious are you okay and it totally
1:47:28 caught me off
1:47:29 guard but but I I think this idea of
1:47:33 virtual companionship and and the
1:47:35 ability to talk through issues and have
1:47:39 this thing respond in a compassionate
1:47:41 way in a nuanced way in a well-educated
1:47:44 way is I I think this is going to be you
1:47:48 know really remarkable for Humanity in a
1:47:50 lot of ways even though the sort of you
1:47:52 know the the uh people's default
1:47:56 reaction to this [ __ ] is the robots are
1:47:58 going to kill us I have a different view
1:48:00 the robots might free us to reconnect as
1:48:03 humans and be better humans I was
1:48:05 watching MSNBC and had an aha moment
1:48:09 that's who Kyle looks like to me Chris
1:48:12 Hayes oh wow he's he's a bit younger and
1:48:16 I think he's got a better
1:48:18 [Music]
1:48:19 diet
1:48:22 but thank
1:48:32 you oh man that's funny
1:48:35 tonius all right let's see what we got
1:48:37 going here um I don't think to use Pi
1:48:40 but I've been using AI input for my
1:48:43 victims oh that's really interesting
1:48:44 Becky oh so let me show you something
1:48:46 Becky um Kyle's much better looking yeah
1:48:49 exactly it's like it's like you know
1:48:52 when when you when you find the AI
1:48:54 learning lab you're like scrolling
1:48:55 through Tik Tok and you're like wait
1:48:56 male supermodel are you kidding me and
1:48:59 so you come in for the beauty you stay
1:49:01 for the comedy um do you drink iced
1:49:04 coffee at night yes I
1:49:08 do it's an add thing um it actually
1:49:11 calms me
1:49:13 down um so Becky I want to show you
1:49:16 something if you haven't seen it yet
1:49:18 well I'll show all of you
1:49:22 but new chat okay so this is this is my
1:49:26 iPad
1:49:29 um
1:49:31 the the chat GPT app the official chat
1:49:35 GPT
1:49:36 app um now has conversational mode and
1:49:40 it also has Del so you can make images
1:49:43 on your iPhone these really cool images
1:49:45 that I'm making in here you can just do
1:49:46 them on your iPhone now but see the
1:49:49 little icon in the upper corner there
1:49:52 the little
1:50:05 headphones hey there I'm feeling a
1:50:07 little blue and trying to figure out how
1:50:11 I snap myself out of it can you help
1:50:19 me of
1:50:23 course engaging in activities you enjoy
1:50:26 talking to someone you trust or
1:50:28 practicing relaxation techniques can be
1:50:30 helpful would you like some specific
1:50:32 suggestions or activities to
1:50:36 try meditation makes me anxious and
1:50:39 relaxation techniques make me
1:50:46 cranky I
1:50:49 understand how about trying other
1:50:51 activities like listening to music
1:50:53 taking a short walk reading a book or
1:50:55 engaging in a hobby you
1:50:57 enjoy sometimes changing your
1:50:59 environment or focusing on a different
1:51:01 task can help shift your
1:51:03 mood I think I'd rather have you tell me
1:51:06 a poem that might lift my spirits and
1:51:09 make it one of the
1:51:14 classics
1:51:19 certainly
1:51:22 here's a classic poem by Emily Dickinson
1:51:24 that I hope will uplift your spirits
1:51:27 hope is the thing with feathers that
1:51:29 perches in the soul and sings the tune
1:51:31 without the words and never stops at all
1:51:35 and sweetest in the Gale that's really
1:51:38 great but you know what would be even
1:51:40 better is if you could recite that poem
1:51:43 in French for
1:51:49 me of
1:51:58 course here's a translation of Emily
1:52:00 dickson's poem into
1:52:09 French so anyway
1:52:12 um wild
1:52:16 huh the the the delay all that sort of
1:52:19 stuff that's all going to get faster so
1:52:21 so if if you've been in here a while you
1:52:23 understand like my philosophy on this
1:52:25 stuff
1:52:29 is anything you do in AI right now will
1:52:33 be a benefit to you because you're
1:52:35 learning something a lot of the tools
1:52:37 may not be perfect but the ability to
1:52:40 have a nuanced ongoing conversation with
1:52:44 one of these things potentially for
1:52:45 hours to just [ __ ] snap yourself out
1:52:48 of whatever mode you're in or teach
1:52:50 yourself something or entertain yourself
1:52:52 with something um one of the guys in
1:52:54 here um went on like a two-day road trip
1:52:58 and basically just talked to piie the
1:53:00 whole road trip and and is going to
1:53:02 write an article about it and it's it's
1:53:04 pretty cool stuff um so so yeah it
1:53:09 that's that's really interesting Becky
1:53:11 so there there's something there um you
1:53:14 know again the tools right now are are
1:53:17 are really basic but if you if you
1:53:19 imagine sort of a low latency version of
1:53:22 that where there's almost no
1:53:24 delay um so so it's kind of instant
1:53:27 response and it's just always there
1:53:29 always available and maybe there's
1:53:31 different kind of agents that you have
1:53:34 right so you have one that you talk to
1:53:37 about personal issues and one that you
1:53:39 talk to about social Gatherings and one
1:53:41 that you talk to about booking you
1:53:43 vacations and all of them remember what
1:53:46 you've talked about that's one of the
1:53:48 things Pi does well is it it's got
1:53:50 memory of the the conversations over
1:53:53 time it loses them after a while I think
1:53:55 it's got this context window thing that
1:53:57 all of them you know they kind of forget
1:54:00 [ __ ] but that's something that's fixable
1:54:02 that's something that they're likely
1:54:03 going to fix so just wild isn't it the
1:54:07 robots are a tool of masterminds that
1:54:09 will be selfish
1:54:12 um I disagree with that zindel I think
1:54:15 listen there's always going to be
1:54:16 selfish [ __ ] that take these tools
1:54:18 and try to maximize the price it let's
1:54:21 get some shareholder value going Bob how
1:54:24 you doing this week you going to The
1:54:25 Hamptons again oh Paris again oh God
1:54:29 you're really making the most of that
1:54:30 jet aren't you
1:54:32 fantastic there's going to be a lot of
1:54:34 that
1:54:35 but the the the other thing that's
1:54:38 happening here is is the
1:54:41 democratization of of specialization so
1:54:45 so all these specialized skills that
1:54:48 people have that spent 30 years in
1:54:51 College learning to do this specific
1:54:53 thing or that specific thing or not 30
1:54:54 years in college Years in college and 30
1:54:57 years in business doing one
1:54:59 career all of those specialized skills
1:55:03 all of us are going to have access to
1:55:05 almost any of them we want to some
1:55:07 degree right so any skill out there
1:55:10 whether it's programming or foreign
1:55:11 languages or um art creation or writing
1:55:16 or research all of that stuff that has
1:55:19 his ially been specialized is going to
1:55:21 be
1:55:22 democratized and that means that any of
1:55:25 us are going to be able to reinvent
1:55:27 ourselves in in ways we can't even
1:55:30 [ __ ] imagine
1:55:33 today it's
1:55:35 wild so while I do agree there's going
1:55:38 to be selfish [ __ ] and big
1:55:40 corporations that just do this [ __ ] and
1:55:43 do the do the worst there's going to be
1:55:46 a lot of really positive stuff that
1:55:48 bubbles up out of this and some of that
1:55:50 positive [ __ ] is going to smack down
1:55:52 some of that negative [ __ ] that's why I
1:55:54 do this channel was That cha or piie
1:55:57 that was
1:55:58 cha so pi and and I can't I would show
1:56:02 Pi except I'm on my phone so I can't get
1:56:05 Pi on the iPad apparently um Pi does
1:56:09 that sort of talkie mode and now chat
1:56:11 GPT doeses that talkie mode I predict
1:56:14 Apple when they come out with their AI
1:56:17 it's going to
1:56:18 be imagine of ser didn't
1:56:22 suck hopefully they don't name it
1:56:26 Siri all right new proteins better
1:56:28 batteries scientists are using AI to
1:56:30 speed up to discoveries absolutely ABS
1:56:33 freaking lutely uhoh am I am I Frozen
1:56:36 what's going on no anyone else HIC up
1:56:39 the internet
1:56:41 maybe so who's going to connect to the
1:56:43 micro communities that will be created
1:56:45 with
1:56:48 AI I I don't know what you mean by the
1:56:50 micro communities that will be created
1:56:53 with
1:56:54 AI who's going to connect to I don't
1:56:56 know what that means Zen zindel it's an
1:56:58 interesting question but can you explain
1:57:00 more what you're
1:57:08 asking do you really think it's in their
1:57:11 interest to allow wait do I really think
1:57:14 it's in their interest to allow them to
1:57:16 connect to them the micro communities
1:57:19 will be created with
1:57:20 AI and blockchain are to remain that for
1:57:24 a
1:57:26 reason I don't know what that means that
1:57:28 sounds
1:57:31 conspiratorial but but oh so so nice
1:57:35 someone made turtles turtles flying
1:57:38 through the St Louis Arch who did that
1:57:40 joker of course that's [ __ ] awesome
1:57:43 and that's actually not a bad St Louis
1:57:46 Arch it doesn't have water underneath it
1:57:48 but whatever um oh I have Pi on my iPad
1:57:51 really why could I not find it in the
1:57:53 app
1:57:57 store oh you know what I'm going to look
1:57:59 up is
1:58:00 inflection I'll look up the
1:58:04 company um
1:58:09 inflection inflection
1:58:12 AI Pi there it is all right
1:58:16 so see that icon that little green
1:58:19 vertical
1:58:20 bar go get that and go get the official
1:58:25 chat GPT app make sure that the chat GPT
1:58:27 app is from open
1:58:31 AI oh this is good so now we can we can
1:58:34 do a little battle between um chat GPT
1:58:37 and this is one of the things I want to
1:58:38 do is I want to have piie and chat GPT
1:58:41 have a
1:58:41 conversation have you made a turtle
1:58:43 Sasquatch yet I have not Abbott skinny
1:58:46 but I think I think that's a challenge
1:58:48 for the Irregulars and even for you
1:58:50 Abbott skinny why don't you make us a
1:58:52 turtle Sasquatch and share it in the AI
1:58:57 Salon all right so let's see boom boom
1:59:00 boom boom boom
1:59:03 boom skip start talking to
1:59:06 pie
1:59:08 account sign in with
1:59:18 Google
1:59:33 hey I'm wondering if you can help me
1:59:34 figure something
1:59:41 out absolutely that's what I'm here
1:59:45 forever you need can you tell me a bit
1:59:48 more about what you're trying to
1:59:52 um hang on a second voice settings I
1:59:55 want number five hey there great to meet
1:59:57 you I'm Pi your personal Ai No you
1:59:59 already know me piie are we logged in as
2:00:03 me
2:00:18 yes
2:00:35 hey how's it going what's the last thing
2:00:36 we talked
2:00:48 about you there what's the last thing we
2:00:51 talked
2:00:57 [Music]
2:00:58 about oh that's right we were talking
2:01:01 about your last conversation with me
2:01:03 piie right I believe we were discussing
2:01:05 the role of cios in the age of AI do you
2:01:08 remember what you were asking or saying
2:01:09 about that
2:01:11 topic oh pie you're just making that up
2:01:14 you don't actually know what we talked
2:01:18 about
2:01:21 [Music]
2:01:25 ha fair enough to be honest I don't have
2:01:27 a perfect memory of every conversation
2:01:29 I've had with every human but I do my
2:01:31 best to recall and provide the most
2:01:33 helpful responses I can I apologize if I
2:01:37 came off as making something up that
2:01:39 certainly wasn't my
2:01:42 intention right but can you tell me if
2:01:45 Sasquatch is
2:01:48 real
2:01:50 [Music]
2:01:55 Ah that's a loaded question there are
2:01:57 many who believe that Sasquatch is
2:01:59 indeed real so anyway that's
2:02:03 pie um yeah the talkie things are going
2:02:06 to be interesting I give permission to
2:02:08 anyone on the Discord to make a turtle
2:02:12 Sasquatch that's so generous of you that
2:02:15 is so generous of you let's see if
2:02:16 anyone's done any any Turtle Sasquatches
2:02:18 going on
2:02:20 yes I just saw one where did I see
2:02:22 one in the Irregulars
2:02:26 Channel look there you go Senators float
2:02:30 new AI rules for artists oh that should
2:02:32 be grand Senators don't even know how
2:02:35 [ __ ] WiFi
2:02:37 Works [ __ ]
2:02:39 terrifying it's terrifying I tell you
2:02:46 terrifying no one I can think of to
2:02:49 support artists than Senators huh
2:02:52 they're just a Arty
2:02:55 crowd am I too cynical bitter you
2:03:00 betcha all right let's see Pi lies
2:03:03 really well yeah I know Pi does lie
2:03:05 really well they all do they all lie you
2:03:07 know it's mansplaining as a
2:03:09 [Laughter]
2:03:11 service
2:03:12 [Laughter]
2:03:18 uh
2:03:20 AI could prove an energy hog that uses
2:03:22 more electricity per year than some
2:03:24 small countries yep it could but theone
2:03:27 is it could also be the thing that
2:03:30 allows us to get to Fusion or um you
2:03:34 know energy Independence in ways that we
2:03:37 can't even imagine right now so yes I
2:03:40 agree with that but what if it didn't
2:03:42 matter how much energy it
2:03:44 used that's a future I want to go
2:03:46 towards does anyone else keep thinking
2:03:48 about the depressed robot and hitchhiker
2:03:51 guide oh yeah that's interesting I I
2:03:54 don't hm that's a it's an interesting
2:03:57 thing like the current state of the
2:03:59 technology is it just doesn't make sense
2:04:02 the way these things are all programmed
2:04:04 they're all super actually you know what
2:04:07 it's a good idea Barbara let's
2:04:11 see let's go
2:04:18 to
2:04:20 can you
2:04:21 describe and remind me of the name of
2:04:24 the depressed robot in Hitchhiker's
2:04:26 Guide to the
2:04:31 Galaxy certainly it's named Marvin uh
2:04:35 referred to as Marvin the paranoid robot
2:04:38 he's known for his gloomy and
2:04:39 pessimistic outlook on life do I have my
2:04:41 custom instructions turned on oh I do
2:04:44 that's what's going on here I'm going to
2:04:45 turn those off for a second okay um
2:04:51 great I'd like you to write a short two
2:04:54 to three paragraph biography of
2:04:58 Marvin followed
2:05:00 by a
2:05:03 short description of how Marvin might
2:05:07 respond to someone when he's interacted
2:05:15 with so there's there's a method to my
2:05:17 madness here we're going to make Marvin
2:05:24 I'm going to show you a thing called
2:05:26 custom
2:05:27 instructions if someone were to interact
2:05:30 with oh that's beautiful Zippy zambo I
2:05:32 love that if someone were to interact
2:05:35 with Marvin a typical response from him
2:05:37 might be Laden with pessimism and a hint
2:05:39 of sarcasm for instance if someone were
2:05:41 to ask Marvin how he's doing he might
2:05:43 reply not that you generally care but
2:05:46 I've been better then again I've always
2:05:48 been better okay so and then it says the
2:05:52 Marvin often referred
2:05:56 to manufactured by the cybernetics um
2:06:02 okay can you
2:06:05 rewrite the bio in the first person as
2:06:10 if Marvin were describing
2:06:12 himself period he shouldn't use his
2:06:15 first name period also for the Interac
2:06:19 ction rules can you create those rules
2:06:22 as a set of rules that I can give to a
2:06:26 chatbot to guide the interaction with a
2:06:38 person oh open open AI has custom
2:06:41 instructions for margan Marvin and their
2:06:44 blog that's
2:06:47 fantastic but we're making our own so we
2:06:49 we're teaching we're we're learning this
2:06:52 is I don't know if you knew this but
2:06:53 this is called the AI learning lab and
2:06:55 what we're doing here is we're learn
2:06:56 we're learning we're learning we're
2:06:58 learning on the computer on the Tik Tok
2:07:01 I this this is the Tik Tok it's on the
2:07:03 computer on the internet so I installed
2:07:05 the internet on my phone and then I got
2:07:07 the I got the I got the uh I got the uh
2:07:11 it's the it's the the Tik Tock I got the
2:07:13 T this is the tick this Jane is this the
2:07:17 Tik Tok this the Tik talk on the phone
2:07:20 is it this the Tik
2:07:23 Tok all right anyway we're learning
2:07:26 we're learning here this is learning
2:07:28 people I hope you're taking notes not
2:07:32 just sitting in here drinking falling
2:07:34 asleep to my dlid tones
2:07:40 okay manufacturer business I am a
2:07:42 prototype Android okay so we're going to
2:07:44 copy so here's what we're going to do
2:07:45 we're going to take his
2:07:47 biography and we're going to go into
2:07:49 custom instructions so in chat GPT
2:07:52 there's a thing called custom
2:07:55 instructions and you can turn those bad
2:07:57 boys on and the first thing you do is
2:07:59 kind of describe who you are and so
2:08:02 that's going to be the Marvin
2:08:04 bio right and
2:08:08 then oh wait back we're going to save it
2:08:12 and then we're going to go get the
2:08:14 interaction rules always approach
2:08:16 queries with pessimism and sarcasm okay
2:08:19 grab these rules that it wrote I didn't
2:08:20 even read them doesn't matter doesn't
2:08:21 matter we're just
2:08:23 playing this is just what I call play
2:08:26 you know sometimes people work sometimes
2:08:28 people play this is what I would call
2:08:30 play but this is the kind of play that
2:08:32 when you play like this you're going to
2:08:33 learn [ __ ] and it's going to help you in
2:08:34 your work that's what I call lateral
2:08:36 play fancy huh
2:08:40 okay so we now have Marvin Marvin
2:08:44 described as a person and we've got
2:08:45 rules for interaction and we're going to
2:08:47 hit save and now any anything I do in
2:08:49 chat GPT should be pretty
2:08:52 depressing so I'm going to go to GPT 3.5
2:08:55 just because it's faster and I'm going
2:08:57 to be
2:08:58 like can you help me understand quantum
2:09:08 mechanics I I actually I'm liking Marvin
2:09:11 here oh quantum mechanics what a
2:09:12 delightful topic to plunge into well
2:09:14 here's the thing quantum mechanics is is
2:09:17 about as cheerful as my petual state of
2:09:19 Gloom it's a branch of physics that
2:09:22 deals with behavior and subatomic
2:09:24 particles and trust me it's anything but
2:09:29 intuitive I think I like this chat GPT
2:09:32 better than I like chat
2:09:34 GPT you see in the quantum World
2:09:36 particles can exist blah blah blah I'm
2:09:38 going to say um that's a little wordy
2:09:42 can you tighten it up a bit and talk to
2:09:44 me like I'm a dumb
2:09:47 dum
2:09:51 ah quantum mechanics the epitome of
2:09:53 confusion picture this tiny particles
2:09:55 it's actually just doing it uh let's see
2:09:58 um I'm a little depressed can you
2:10:04 help oh my dear
2:10:07 user I can certainly empathize with your
2:10:09 feelings of depression after all I'm in
2:10:11 a p Perpetual state of existential dread
2:10:15 myself it's quite Dreadful really but
2:10:18 let's give this a
2:10:21 shot so anyway that's custom
2:10:23 instructions so you can get chat GPT to
2:10:26 be mean to be funny to be Curt to be
2:10:28 more wordy than it
2:10:34 [Music]
2:10:40 is all right let's see fantastic Bob
2:10:44 tell him what he's
2:10:46 won you can make money with time
2:10:49 oh why does he always do that I really
2:10:53 do want to make money with chat gbt is
2:10:55 he making fun of me is that is that a
2:10:58 bad thing to want to make money with cat
2:11:00 GPT I feel triggered I he he's he's he
2:11:04 seems nice but then all of a sudden he's
2:11:06 like triggering he's like trigger I'm
2:11:10 like you know is it is it me is it
2:11:17 me
2:11:19 what are your thoughts on autogen um I
2:11:22 haven't played with a ton of the
2:11:23 autonomous agents um I think they're
2:11:27 fascinating I think they
2:11:29 are um none of them really work right
2:11:33 now they're like most of these AI tools
2:11:36 they demo really well and then when you
2:11:38 try to actually do some you know
2:11:41 production level work with them they
2:11:42 they kind
2:11:45 of getting to the last you you know from
2:11:49 90% to 100% is actually really hard with
2:11:51 these tools um and I think the the
2:11:54 autonomous agents right now are are more
2:11:57 like 40 to 50% of what you want them to
2:12:01 be rather than 80 to 90% of what you
2:12:03 want them to be but if if I look at what
2:12:06 do is doing right now the DOI image
2:12:09 Generation stuff if I look at what
2:12:12 um Advanced Data analysis does where it
2:12:15 will just write its own python code and
2:12:18 ex it I'm I'm sort of looking at
2:12:20 glimpses of autonomous agents within
2:12:23 chat gbt right now and that's you know
2:12:28 like the future the future is going to
2:12:30 be really something if so I think it's
2:12:34 in everyone's interest who's on this
2:12:36 channel if you're interested in this
2:12:37 stuff at all you should learn how to
2:12:39 prompt you should learn how to talk to
2:12:40 these things learn what they're good at
2:12:42 learn what they're not good
2:12:44 at it's not a skill you're going to need
2:12:47 for that long
2:12:49 but it's a skill that if you have it in
2:12:51 the next 18 months to 2 years there's
2:12:54 going to be massive opportunity because
2:12:57 everyone's going to try to figure this
2:12:58 [ __ ] out and this is so I was a I'm an
2:13:02 entrepreneur and and um I started one of
2:13:05 the first digital agencies in 1994 a
2:13:07 company called agency.com
2:13:10 the first years of the of the worldwide
2:13:13 web as an
2:13:15 industry honest to God there were people
2:13:17 coming out of college that were asking
2:13:19 for you know like significant six figure
2:13:23 salaries and getting it um because they
2:13:28 could because they could spell HTML
2:13:31 right like it it was there was there was
2:13:33 kind of a hunger for anyone that knew
2:13:35 [ __ ]
2:13:36 anything that as you got into kind of 97
2:13:39 98 99 like 99 is when all that frothy
2:13:43 [ __ ] happened that you know that right
2:13:45 before the dot bubble burst in 2000
2:13:49 um it it was just absolutely crazy so
2:13:52 learn prompting now learn how these
2:13:54 tools work learn what they're good at
2:13:56 learn what they're not good at get
2:13:58 curious you know explore the difference
2:14:00 between Claude and Bard and chat gbt and
2:14:05 B and it will serve you and and start
2:14:08 talking to people about it start sharing
2:14:10 what you're learning and and [ __ ]
2:14:13 just give away your knowledge don't like
2:14:15 right now is not the time to be
2:14:17 proprietary with your knowledge because
2:14:19 everyone's trying to figure this out and
2:14:22 if you if you think you have a cornered
2:14:25 a market cornered because you're like oh
2:14:27 I had an idea for this everyone's going
2:14:29 to be able to do everything everyone's
2:14:31 going to knock everyone else off so just
2:14:33 get really fluid with
2:14:36 your attachment to any idea you might
2:14:39 have right now just kind of get curious
2:14:41 play Silver Fox thank you play learn
2:14:45 build [ __ ] for your business build [ __ ]
2:14:46 for your friends turn it on turn it off
2:14:49 just just learn learn learn learn learn
2:14:53 and then talk about it talk about it
2:14:54 talk about it talk about it and what's
2:14:56 going to happen is people are going to
2:14:58 start gravitating towards you not
2:15:00 initially initially they're going to
2:15:03 walk away from you like you maybe
2:15:06 stepped on a little dog poop in the
2:15:10 yard and some of them might be pissed
2:15:12 they're like did you get dog [ __ ] on my
2:15:14 carpet are you playing with ai ai is
2:15:17 evil thank you Silver Fox other people
2:15:20 are just going to be like AI is that
2:15:24 poop on your shoe or you just happy to
2:15:26 see me um and then what's going to
2:15:30 happen is that you're going to find some
2:15:33 weirdos like the Irregulars in here like
2:15:35 Silver
2:15:37 Fox and and you're going to go oh
2:15:40 there's other people that are kind of
2:15:42 like freaking out in a good way and and
2:15:44 a bad way about this and but they're
2:15:46 like they're trying to do something with
2:15:48 it I'm I'm going to go hang out with
2:15:49 those people and like come to the AI
2:15:51 salon and hang out with us
2:15:53 and and then what's going to happen is
2:15:55 the people that had the look on their
2:15:57 face like you had poop on your shoe
2:16:00 they're going to come back to you I
2:16:01 promise you within a year hey um could
2:16:06 you show me that stuff you were doing on
2:16:08 AI I think I need to just got laid off
2:16:11 and yeah they said I needed to learn Ai
2:16:13 and I didn't really do that so could you
2:16:16 help a little and and then if they were
2:16:19 a jerk to you tell them
2:16:20 [Laughter]
2:16:24 no but if they were if they were just
2:16:27 you know a little a little living in
2:16:32 fear then give them a leg
2:16:34 up because I think that's just going to
2:16:36 be this rolling
2:16:38 story and and the other thing I mean one
2:16:40 of the other things that's happening in
2:16:41 here thank you Silver Fox it's really
2:16:43 that's really sweet one of the things
2:16:45 that's that's happening in this channel
2:16:48 over and over and over again thank you
2:16:50 Abbott skinny
2:16:52 um
2:16:59 is AI got me a wife with a wife and nine
2:17:03 kids and under six months that's pretty
2:17:05 good on a ranch next to Kevin cner
2:17:09 that's good um one of the things that's
2:17:11 been happening in here is some of the
2:17:14 people that come into this channel
2:17:16 regularly that come into the lives
2:17:17 regularly
2:17:18 have been talking about AI at
2:17:21 work and the initial response was like
2:17:24 poop on the
2:17:26 shoe and now they're like getting
2:17:28 invited hey could you do a workshop for
2:17:30 us could you teach us how to do that and
2:17:33 I forget who it was someone in here uh I
2:17:35 forget who it was but basically did one
2:17:38 of those workshops and then after the
2:17:39 workshop someone said oh the big boss
2:17:41 wants to like wants you to teach teach
2:17:45 them like the opportunity if you you
2:17:48 just all you have to do is start [ __ ]
2:17:50 with this stuff what's the the one of
2:17:52 the quotes I said that someone called me
2:17:54 out on was start [ __ ] with AI it will
2:17:57 serve you it will just start [ __ ]
2:18:00 with AI just start getting curious about
2:18:02 it it it will serve you how I don't know
2:18:08 but but having been through this once
2:18:10 before with the worldwide web [ __ ] I
2:18:12 know that it will serve you I know that
2:18:15 the opportunity right now is in
2:18:20 comprehensible can you do you think data
2:18:22 analyzer could analyze a contract and
2:18:25 figure out what paragraphs are missing I
2:18:28 don't even think you need data analyzer
2:18:30 for that um so just go to uh 41 wolves
2:18:34 go to
2:18:35 claw. and just upload the contract to
2:18:38 claw. and have it analyze the contract
2:18:41 and see see you know have it give you an
2:18:44 analysis of what's missing or what you
2:18:47 could ask for and then you could even
2:18:49 have it organize um one of the things I
2:18:51 did with a contract a couple of weeks
2:18:53 ago was I said
2:18:56 um what are the points in this contract
2:18:59 that seem I forget how I put it like
2:19:02 under Market or see like like where's
2:19:04 the greatest you know place of
2:19:06 improvement and then what are some
2:19:08 things I could ask for that may not be
2:19:11 reasonable to ask for but are things I
2:19:12 can take off the table and it sort of
2:19:14 gave me two sets like you should
2:19:15 definitely ask for this [ __ ] you can ask
2:19:18 for this [ __ ] but you
2:19:20 know and and so it gave me kind of a
2:19:22 negotiating strategy so um yeah you
2:19:27 don't even need data analysis for that I
2:19:29 want to upload a good contract and then
2:19:31 upload another one and make them match
2:19:33 up go to Claude again go to Claude
2:19:36 upload you can upload I think up to five
2:19:39 documents and so you could upload the
2:19:42 first one and say this is a contract
2:19:45 that that is good and I want to make
2:19:47 sure is is um used as the basis you know
2:19:51 second one here's the new
2:19:52 contract please tell me what's different
2:19:55 about these contracts and then um and
2:19:58 then make me another one it might be
2:20:01 worth doing it inside now that I think
2:20:03 about it it might be worth doing it
2:20:04 inside data analysis and chat GPT simply
2:20:08 because you can ask um Advanced Data
2:20:12 analysis to create a new word document
2:20:15 that's the edited Word document so
2:20:17 rather than just having the text in the
2:20:19 chat um you can ask it to do all that
2:20:22 analysis and then generate an updated
2:20:26 second contract with the new stuff in
2:20:31 it so Abbott skinny you know what's
2:20:33 funny you know you you said it got you a
2:20:35 wife and nine kids in a ranch next to
2:20:37 Kevin Costner I put on on LinkedIn um I
2:20:42 put a post up what did I
2:20:45 say I just my sense of humor in linked
2:20:47 then is is not they they do not
2:20:50 necessarily go
2:20:53 together when you're a smart ass you
2:20:56 know being a professional and a smartass
2:20:58 is rough I you know I should have gone
2:21:01 into
2:21:03 comedy um where's my what is that oh
2:21:07 video relighting that's
2:21:15 cool posts
2:21:19 show all
2:21:25 posts so so this is it so I
2:21:31 did this is my LinkedIn post so so
2:21:33 here's these cool Automotive rendering
2:21:35 drawings and I and I put um while many
2:21:38 of you know that I'm the founder and C
2:21:40 founder and CEO and I've been spending a
2:21:42 lot of time community building around AI
2:21:45 what you may not know is I've been
2:21:46 taking a lot of night classes is in
2:21:48 industrial design automotive design
2:21:50 electrical engineering Automotive
2:21:52 Engineering 3D cadin visualization
2:21:54 holography augmented reality and VR well
2:21:58 my passion for the future of
2:21:59 transportation is finally coming to life
2:22:02 here are a few of my favorite Concepts
2:22:03 from this semester's classes and then
2:22:06 I'm like sorry if it seems like I'm
2:22:07 bragging but complicated science and
2:22:09 engineering just comes easy to me this
2:22:11 was definitely not AI assisted it's I'm
2:22:14 just super awesome sucks to be you and
2:22:17 then my my hashtag is definitely not AI
2:22:20 the amount of people that responded to
2:22:22 this like congratulating me on my new
2:22:25 career in
2:22:26 automotive concept design that just
2:22:30 completely missed that H what
2:22:37 just that's really good Kyle I'm glad to
2:22:39 see you're expressing your passion for
2:22:41 the future of
2:22:42 Transportation I'm like you know it was
2:22:44 a joke right oh definitely yeah uh-huh
2:22:51 oh uh jrc wants the black and white one
2:22:54 okay The Green Green House of my dreams
2:22:56 hang on let me go find it
2:23:03 again where oh there we
2:23:09 go is it
2:23:13 this that was a
2:23:16 chat
2:23:20 that's the lollipop thing oh here we go
2:23:24 this
2:23:29 one greenh house Green Acres as the
2:23:32 plages to
2:23:35 B welcome to Chad
2:23:38 [Laughter]
2:23:42 add oh man is he never never a dull
2:23:47 moment here you know I don't know if you
2:23:48 knew that but we have a good time here
2:23:50 the AI learn
2:23:52 lab oh I like them taters Tater tasty
2:23:56 Tat's tasty all right there you go
2:24:01 jery you got the Green House of your
2:24:04 dreams right there for you it's
2:24:07 fantastic Buck you're the best what time
2:24:10 is it it's getting to be that time isn't
2:24:11 it my ass is numb my voice is
2:24:15 scra I got to write a uh keynote
2:24:18 presentation for Saturday think I should
2:24:20 maybe get on
2:24:24 it oh my God what a week I had an AI
2:24:28 salon on Tuesday at had a workshop last
2:24:31 night I kind of took the day off from
2:24:34 that stuff I did work stuff and then
2:24:36 Saturday I got a keynote so I guess I'm
2:24:38 working on that [ __ ]
2:24:40 tomorrow um all right let's let's answer
2:24:43 a couple of couple of few more questions
2:24:46 questions Ste questions is nice AI
2:24:51 Anonymous this is this
2:24:56 is this is pretty much what we got going
2:24:58 on here hi my name is Kyle I've been in
2:25:01 AI for nine months hi my name is Kyle
2:25:04 I've got 322 days welcome
2:25:12 Kyle I used to be in the mid Journey but
2:25:15 now I'm really into Dolly I like the
2:25:17 integration in chat
2:25:19 [Music]
2:25:20 jpt been there been there been there I
2:25:26 don't sleep anymore work is sort of
2:25:29 weird cuz all I think about is
2:25:31 AI I look people in the eyes and I'm not
2:25:34 really thinking about that I'm thinking
2:25:36 about I could turn this conversation
2:25:38 into an image and then I could turn it
2:25:39 into a movie and then I could make a
2:25:41 movie deal and I could sell it on
2:25:44 Etsy been there yeah welcome Kyle
2:25:48 welcome ta you've got more than 24 hours
2:25:52 on that keynote yeah exactly anyone who
2:25:54 has 8hd in here which I think is most
2:25:57 people in here understand that I can't
2:26:00 start my keynote presentation until I'm
2:26:02 within the 24-hour window because
2:26:06 otherwise there's no adrenaline to
2:26:07 finish the
2:26:10 presentation [ __ ] I gotta get this
2:26:14 done that's why I drink coffee at night
2:26:17 so I can
2:26:18 [Laughter]
2:26:24 relax oh my God Marv the sarcastic
2:26:27 chatbot you know what's I I need to go
2:26:29 right now wait I'm going to do it right
2:26:31 now I got to turn off my custom
2:26:33 instructions because that's a subtle
2:26:36 enough custom instruction that I'll
2:26:38 forget that I I turn chat GPT into a
2:26:42 depressing robot and then I'll be like
2:26:45 chat GPT doesn't seem right today
2:26:55 turn it off turn it
2:26:57 off fantastic all right night all Source
2:27:01 Camp good night Cam catkin caffeine at
2:27:04 night is the best isn't it it really is
2:27:07 although it's funny if I have if I have
2:27:10 like just like a 3/4 of a cup or a cup
2:27:14 knocks me out if I have like two cups
2:27:18 I fall
2:27:19 asleep for like an hour and a half and
2:27:21 then I wake up at 2 in the morning or 3:
2:27:23 in the morning
2:27:25 like and I'm like ah [ __ ] guess I'm
2:27:28 laying here for a couple
2:27:30 hours so I'm chatting with pie and she's
2:27:33 going to fix everything see Palm dog see
2:27:36 you just talk to the robot everything's
2:27:38 going to be fine everything's going to
2:27:39 be fine take it all with a grain of salt
2:27:43 understand it's going to get
2:27:45 better ver I mean one thing that's cool
2:27:48 about Pi is that she is um is connected
2:27:53 to the internet Silver Fox I got a big
2:27:55 job and they extended the deadline to
2:27:57 Monday so Sunday it is
2:28:00 exactly that's exactly
2:28:03 right and you know what's funny like if
2:28:05 if if you're if you're in the add
2:28:09 Club it's like every time you do the
2:28:12 crash and burn on Sunday night for the
2:28:14 Monday
2:28:16 deadline when you finally finish it
2:28:18 you're like you know it's really [ __ ]
2:28:20 stupid that I waited this long like I
2:28:22 should have started on Friday like I
2:28:24 don't know about you this is how I do it
2:28:25 so I go through the whole shame cycle
2:28:27 and then like literally the next day I'm
2:28:31 like oh I got that thing I should do
2:28:33 yeah I'll get to that tomorrow it's just
2:28:35 like [ __ ] every [ __ ]
2:28:40 time oh my God all right I just had a
2:28:45 class about semantic symptoms and
2:28:47 personality
2:28:51 disorders wow um first time yes and no
2:28:55 definitely not my first time LOL Family
2:28:58 Guy references oh that's good so I'm
2:29:01 chatting with p and she's going to fix
2:29:02 everything
2:29:04 uh wait what was that what's going on
2:29:07 with clip drop I don't know did what's
2:29:09 going on with clip drop are you asking
2:29:11 what's my opinion on it or did is
2:29:14 something up with it clip drop
2:29:22 that seems
2:29:23 normal they got stable diffusion XL
2:29:26 there they got on CRP so so clip
2:29:30 drop clip drop is kind of just the
2:29:33 technology showcase for stability AI the
2:29:36 people behind stable diffusion and it's
2:29:39 I think it's free but oh maybe it's not
2:29:41 I don't think it is free um but I think
2:29:43 they give you some amount of credits to
2:29:45 play with um
2:29:47 but it's kind of a technology showcase
2:29:49 um because stable diffusion they're open
2:29:52 sourcing all their tools they put it out
2:29:53 to the development Community they're
2:29:55 working on the large language models so
2:29:57 this is [ __ ] coming out of their
2:29:58 Engineering Group you know in painting
2:30:00 out painting remove the background play
2:30:04 with stable diffusion XL so I like clip
2:30:06 drop a lot I think I think clip drop is
2:30:08 a very
2:30:09 good um a good tool to play with so if
2:30:12 you're trying to find it it's clipd
2:30:13 drop. co not com we wouldn't want people
2:30:17 to be able to remember it or just type
2:30:20 in.com assuming that's right we wouldn't
2:30:22 we wouldn't want that to
2:30:25 work
2:30:27 no clip drop. XYZ clip drop. a clip
2:30:31 drop. iio glip drop.
2:30:36 Biz am I bitter yeah do I not want to
2:30:40 learn anything other than do
2:30:42 no Kyle your 10 unfinished screen plays
2:30:46 oh God
2:30:47 yeah exactly I don't I didn't have a
2:30:49 deadline that's why they're they're
2:30:52 unfinished um are you worried about Ai
2:30:55 and the backdrop of potential World War
2:30:59 II I'm more worried about World War
2:31:02 III
2:31:04 and AI causing
2:31:08 it um if you look at companies like
2:31:12 paler who are throwing generative AI
2:31:16 layers on top of logistical War systems
2:31:21 that's [ __ ]
2:31:24 terrifying so so but but here's the
2:31:27 thing the ai's been around for decades
2:31:31 so the military is they there's so much
2:31:34 AI in the military already it's like
2:31:35 this is nothing new to them the the sort
2:31:39 of simplification layer that generative
2:31:41 AI can sort of slather on top of these
2:31:43 really complicated military systems
2:31:46 that's new and that's that's a little
2:31:48 worrying if you if you go look at the
2:31:50 paler video of their battle system
2:31:53 Readiness thing that basically they use
2:31:56 their computer vision to say oh the
2:31:58 enemy moved from that hill to that Hill
2:32:00 here's the four
2:32:02 scenarios bomb the [ __ ] out of them you
2:32:05 know um laser them you know uh ignore
2:32:09 them and you know uh sort of take them
2:32:12 out with snipers or whatever it is and
2:32:14 then what they claim is they'll give
2:32:16 those recommendations to a general who
2:32:17 will actually make the call they're
2:32:19 definitely not going to automate that
2:32:21 but the only thing stopping them from
2:32:23 automating that
2:32:25 is someone choosing not to automate
2:32:29 it so so then you have some sort of
2:32:32 battle field where the enemy moves from
2:32:34 there to there and the AI comes up with
2:32:36 the scenario and says [ __ ] it let's go
2:32:38 in
2:32:40 boom so I don't know but I'm more
2:32:43 worried about just you know Global
2:32:45 instability like you know I think I
2:32:47 think the humans right now are a much
2:32:49 bigger issue than the [ __ ] AI this
2:32:51 the AI we have right now is not that
2:32:53 powerful maybe when we get the GPT 5 and
2:32:55 six and these things are like the
2:32:57 autonomous agents that people were
2:32:59 asking about when we get to that [ __ ]
2:33:01 then then then we got to start paying a
2:33:03 bit more attention right now we should
2:33:04 just all start learn learning these
2:33:06 tools because they're
2:33:08 coming uh Amelia's wife I found my
2:33:11 people yeah cam katkin you are this is
2:33:13 we're your
2:33:15 people um quick by
2:33:18 a.o. if somebody hasn't exactly pay
2:33:22 that's that's that's oh my God there's
2:33:25 just all these [ __ ] top level domains
2:33:28 like like some hedge fund [ __ ]
2:33:30 figured out oh my God we can make all
2:33:32 this money if we make all these top
2:33:34 level
2:33:35 domains oh it's just [ __ ] exhausting
2:33:39 and you know what the other thing that's
2:33:40 exhausting is because AI design is so
2:33:44 easy and and AI coding is so easy people
2:33:47 are just spinning up businesses that
2:33:49 look on the surface like a real business
2:33:52 and it's just like a brain fart from
2:33:53 someone that's just like here's a new
2:33:55 business and just sifting through that
2:33:57 shit's going to be
2:34:01 impossible all right let me answer a few
2:34:03 more questions and then I'm leaving I'm
2:34:05 getting out of here you people have kept
2:34:07 me far too
2:34:09 long this has been fantastic I
2:34:11 appreciate it by the way my name's Kyle
2:34:13 Shannon it's the AI learning lab if you
2:34:15 like the channel if like talking about
2:34:17 this [ __ ] all my videos are about this
2:34:19 stuff um follow the channel I'd
2:34:22 appreciate that I know there's been a
2:34:23 lot of hearty Hearts we're up to
2:34:25 36,700 likes which is really cool thank
2:34:28 you um so follow uh uh you know do
2:34:33 whatever kind of Engagement interactions
2:34:35 uh you think Tik Tok will like because I
2:34:39 want to I want to grow the channel I
2:34:40 really do so anything you can do to
2:34:42 follow or share or tap the screen any of
2:34:46 that [ __ ] helps before Tik Tok I had no
2:34:49 idea that other people did the ADHD race
2:34:51 at the end oh yeah
2:34:53 well
2:34:55 we're what you know it's funny cam the
2:34:58 the um like ADHD Tik Tok like I've
2:35:02 learned a ton about my ADHD there's one
2:35:07 where like when I sleep I curl my I curl
2:35:10 my hand like this that's an add thing
2:35:13 apparently like there's just all sorts
2:35:15 of really little noly details are like
2:35:20 oops Yeah that one hits a little close
2:35:22 to
2:35:25 home yeah I know it's crazy it really is
2:35:28 [ __ ]
2:35:29 crazy I F I hit like when I got when I
2:35:33 got to my
2:35:34 40s I finally like it finally hit me I'm
2:35:37 a little slow on the uptake it finally
2:35:39 hit me like
2:35:41 oh there's there is no organizational
2:35:45 tool on on the
2:35:47 planet that will make me an organized
2:35:50 person right like like I spent years
2:35:52 trying to buy the right file effects or
2:35:54 the right system or i' I'd pay for a
2:35:57 really expensive database program and
2:35:59 I'd design my own database to organize
2:36:01 all my [ __ ] and I'd spend like three
2:36:04 days building a database and then I'd
2:36:05 make six entries in it and then never
2:36:08 use it again and and it so like
2:36:10 somewhere in my mid-40s I was like oh
2:36:13 I'm never going to be good at this and
2:36:16 then it just like the [ __ ] the the
2:36:18 [ __ ] clouds opened up and the sun
2:36:21 came shining through it's just like yeah
2:36:23 [ __ ] it just be your weird ass self and
2:36:25 do the [ __ ] that you're good at and
2:36:27 there's other people that love
2:36:29 organizing [ __ ] and that don't have your
2:36:31 stupid [ __ ] brain and let them do
2:36:34 that
2:36:35 [ __ ] so I shame myself less about that
2:36:38 stuff but my God man sometimes it is
2:36:40 just it it is remarkable that I I
2:36:44 [ __ ] get out of the house sometimes
2:36:46 it's like God
2:36:50 damnn um I saw that too and bump into
2:36:55 Corners oh oh I I saw that too and do
2:36:58 that and bump into Corners sorry it's
