37. 7:24Google you can do this thing and just start playing with it just start putting in prompts have you ever asked AI to build a prompt for
38. 7:31AI yeah many times actually chat GPT writing prompts for chat GPT is good it's a good it's a good uh technique to use
39. 7:43and Ethan mullik shared a study about a month ago that they did some testing on that and chat GPT prompting itself out
40. 7:51prompted the humans by a lot but it'll never wow Tik Tock live what was that who did that that was very cool thank you Sherry banks that was
41. 8:03super cool and you just hit Level 11 um we're so gorgeous I know look at look at you all look how pretty yall are you damn hippies look at
42. 8:15y'all it's what it feels like in here and sometimes you what are your qualifications man yeah man yeah speak the truth
43. 8:28Kyle um okay so these four things are all kind of the same thing they're all large language models they're all you
44. 8:38know AI chat Bots um Bard is Google's entry into the space Claude is a competitor to chat GPT and just got a $4
45. 8:48billion investment from Amazon and then Bing is Microsoft and they invested 10 billion into open AI so they could use
46. 8:57their technology and whatever else they they got with that deal um that little thing at the bottom there promps do chat
47. 9:05that's just a primer that'll teach you how to talk to these things so if you haven't played with these things go
48. 9:09there right now I'm going to going to do these really quick here's another one to screenshot so just start screenshotting
49. 9:15these isn't Bing just chat GPT Sawyer great question it's not actually so okay here's how this works you have the
50. 9:29I guess they're calling them Frontier or Foundation um large language model like gp4 is sort of sitting down here at the
51. 9:40base level and then sitting on top of that is an application the one from from open AI is called chat GPT the one from Microsoft
52. 9:50is called Bing chat so they're both chatbots that call the gp4 foundation model but how they wrote those chat Bots is completely
53. 10:02different Microsoft's being safety guard rails are really egregious right now like you can if you ask it anything at
54. 10:10all off color or make a comment or just anything it'll it'll either just refuse to do it or it'll shut the conversation
55. 10:18down and it's really annoying because sometimes you're in the you know in a in a conversation and you inadvertently say
56. 10:25something or or just whatever just didn't like what you said and it'll just shut the conversation down and then
57. 10:31you're done you can't go back to it so um so they're both calling on the same basic technology underneath but the
58. 10:39rules that they give the chatbots themselves are quite different um and that means that opinion now the the one
59. 10:48on the bottom is connected to the internet as is barard and then about a week ago um chat GPT reinstituted browse
60. 10:59with Bing so now it's connected to the internet so now of these four the only one not connected to the internet is
61. 11:06Claude so so that's that's an exciting thing but it used to be if you wanted to to search a large language model on
62. 11:13recent information you had to go to Bing or Bard and now you can go to open AI again okay Pi um the IOS app for pi you
63. 11:25can talk to it I wonder I bet I can install that on my Ye Old iPad here hang on cuz it' be good to demo that as well

69. 12:33phone in the search bar if you hit the green phone you can talk to it and just like you talk and when you stop talking
70. 12:40it just goes off and searches the large language model and comes back with an answer you have a conversation with it
71. 12:45so try that in your car just Bluetooth that um those other things are interesting to look at too screenshot
72. 12:52this for images right now my my uh image generation crush is with dolly3 because I have access to it inside chat GPT but
73. 13:03you can also if you go to bing.com create that's also dolly3 and it's free um chat gbt you have to pay 20
74. 13:11bucks to get the fancy features but Bing you get them for free mid journey is really good and sexy um the other two are worth exploring as
75. 13:21well and then screenshot this for sure here's your video generation tools Runway ml hey Jen which does video
76. 13:29translations that are [ __ ] remarkable I did a thing today where um so so I did um myself to Italian and I did myself to
77. 13:40Mandarin Chinese I took the Italian and Chinese videos that I did and I translated them back into English and they're surprisingly
78. 13:50coherent surprisingly coherent um so those are good there this so these two things futurepedia doio and there's an
79. 13:59AI for that are um just big old directories of AI tools most of them are crap but there's lots and lots of stuff
80. 14:08to explore there and then these three dudes Ethan mullik David Shapiro and Paul rer I think are worth you following
81. 14:15uh Mark Paul rer from the marketing AI Institute he's been talking about this [ __ ] for like five years um David
82. 14:22Shapiro is single-handedly trying to build an uh an AGI platform so there's an open source cognitive architecture
83. 14:32that he just you know put out in the world brilliant dude really good thinker and then Ethan mollik from one useful
84. 14:38thing. org Wharton business school Professor smart as [ __ ] smart smart smart all those guys are good
85. 14:47um let's see the AI Salon the thing in the middle there that is a community so I talked in here a lot about the
86. 14:56Discord and um that's what we're referring to it's the AI Salon Discord so that's a community I started
87. 15:04about it's we're coming up on a year I we started it I think the end of November last year uh or the beginning
88. 15:11of December something like that and um yeah I don't I don't I think it was I think first week in December was our
89. 15:20first meeting but anyway we have we we meet every two weeks and then we have the online Discord where you can hang
90. 15:26out and you have fun with people and learn about this [ __ ] and just you know be with other weirdos that are hanging
91. 15:33out with AI stuff and then this thing tiny url.com kyi tools that's from uh one of the Irregulars in here named
92. 15:44Thelonius who every time I mentioned here's a company to go check out or here's a person to follow he threw it in
93. 15:50a spreadsheet which super cool and so now we made that available for everyone so that's just super hip that's just

123. 20:16application and and you say are all your apps up to date and it says they're all up to date and you still have illustrator
124. 20:262023 that's not the one that has this feature in it so what you have to do is you go into your updates and even though
125. 20:34it says all of your things are up to date in the upper right hand corner you click um update wait hang on Creative Cloud so you go
126. 20:47into uh where are we updates and then up in the upper corner here it says check for updates click that because what that will do is is
127. 20:58force illustrator to go to 2024 which is version 28 um it took like I was I was in the flipping Adobe beta Discord asking
128. 21:11people why don't I see this thing it's supposed to be live they're like do this do that I'm like it still doesn't work
129. 21:18they're like do this do that I'm like it still doesn't work I felt old and stupid but you know whatever okay so what you
130. 21:25do with this thing you draw a rectang angle and then and then this is some interface they got to fix because when

132. 21:43go back to the pointer tool so I'm going to go back to the pointer tool and then you get the little generative fill

176. 30:07your default gp4 setting if you've got access to GPT Vision you'll get a little icon right there it's like a little upload thing
177. 30:18now if you go to Advanced Data analysis you also have a little thing here that's file upload as well but this is
178. 30:24uploading things like CSV files and text files and in default chat GPT it turns into an image so this can now read images so check this
179. 30:35out so on on my office um on my office whiteboard I have a whole [ __ ] ton of Post-it notes from like a strategy
180. 30:49session my co-founder and I did um like three years ago and so this is it so I took this picture like you
181. 30:58can barely even see that [ __ ] so I took this picture and so we're going to upload that picture and I'm going to say um
182. 31:13what's um going on here that's all I'm going to say so there's our picture uploaded the image displays a wall with
183. 31:23various colored sticky notes organized into different sections it appears to be a brainstorming or planning session
184. 31:29likely for business the sections labeled goals unjustified assumptions choices opportunities Trends risks of change out
185. 31:37of our control each section contains sticky notes and various pieces of information okay so what I'm going to
186. 31:44say here I mean first of all how cool is that I mean like like just at a minimum like you come out of a a brainstorming session and
187. 31:57you got all the sticky notes and you put them on the wall and then at some point it's someone's [ __ ] job to write down
188. 32:02all the [ __ ] on the sticky notes well not anymore done so now I'm going to say um make a detailed yeah I got to restart
189. 32:16my machine uh I'm going to say make a table with the details of the notes organized by
190. 32:38category certainly here's a table based on the details of the notes category details goals build value so shareholders win China
191. 32:51international one to two your exit right so this is reading every one of the Post-it notes automatically
192. 33:00organizing them in the little sections that that are there U it's a little slow I'm going to stop this right now
193. 33:06but what this Vision stuff can do is is kind of way Beyond just just this little example that I'm showing here although
194. 33:14this little example is is quite amazing do you know if there's any AI that you can trust with privacy yet yeah Mitch
195. 33:21anything that you install on your local machine so um meta put out the llama models llama 7B 13B and 70b plus code llama those are all
196. 33:35open-source highquality um large language models that you can install on a local machine so any any anywhere where you're
197. 33:46running um your large language model queries locally you're not sending stuff out so all of that stuff is secure
198. 33:54anything being sent to an open AI or to any of these ones you should assume is not secure unless you have an explicit
199. 34:03thing um Silver Fox the whiteboards so she said ah whiteboards so um ah llama llama so tasty I like llama llama tasty
200. 34:14um the um some of the demos with the Whiteboard stuff are amazing like they they'll take like a a site map of of an
201. 34:23architecture for computer software thank you very much sir and they basically just say write the code for the software that's diagrammed
202. 34:32in the Whiteboard and it'll identify the segments and then start writing code for the different components it's it's
203. 34:38pretty amazing I got to restart my machine so let me flip back over here restarting because Microsoft Edge

214. 36:13piece of new technology or some announcement from an existing company um that I that I already know and trust is mar the sarcastic
215. 36:28chatbot available to answer I found him on chat gbt today thank you Kofi D um I have not heard of I have not heard of uh
216. 36:37Marv the sarcastic chatbot but I will we can I'll tell you what bruty henna um nine out of 10 on the name I like brudy
217. 36:46henna good name um we can pop into chat GPT and make a bot or make a uh we can make chat gbt be sarcastic uh uh

222. 38:04um when chat GPT got a million people in 5 days and then it got a 100 million people in six weeks and then Microsoft
223. 38:12went all in on incorporating chat gbt into their browser and their search engine I just switched uh my default
224. 38:22search engine to Bing and my default browser to Edge now why did I do that um because I couldn't I couldn't imagine in my lifetime that
225. 38:35anyone could potentially threaten to unseat Google as the Monopoly for interacting with data on the internet
226. 38:43and all of a sudden I was like holy [ __ ] Microsoft's going to be [ __ ] with Google and the CEO was kind of picking
227. 38:50on Google and so I just switched it but like I like Edge a lot as a browser but I'm a I'm a tab hord and so if You tab horde it's just it
228. 38:59just has memory leaks even if you have things that put your tabs to sleep it just [ __ ] crashes my machine every
229. 39:05time I it goes to sleep so so anyway how do you share what you're doing on your laptop with us on live two cameras yes
230. 39:14but they're all in the same device so so this is a phone and then this camera I can see myself and this camera is on the
231. 39:23other side of the phone so it's just when you go live there's an option called dual and it stands for dual
232. 39:29camera so it's just activating two cameras on the device at the same time and then I just so here look so I put my I put my um you can't see
233. 39:45it my computer is on a motorcycle helmet box and I'm just I've just got it on a monopod with a with a little phone clamp
234. 39:57on the top it's not very Hightech here at the AI learning lab you're like I'm so disappointed I thought this was a lab
235. 40:03I thought you would have fancy technology is there not an oscope near you oh there's not an oscope but you
236. 40:09know what there is near me you can make money with yeah so I don't need qualifications when I got the golden

336. 56:30million users and mid Journey has like 15 million so so there's a lot more users on Dolly on chat GPT so yeah Dolly
337. 56:423 has by far the best tech text output of any image model out there right now yep that's correct Herod and and if
338. 56:49you're wondering why can't this thing spell and why is why is everything spelled weird it's it's just that the
339. 56:55nature of how how these images are generated um it it doesn't have the concept of typography in it it's basically just taking sort
340. 57:04of like mathematical amalgamations of hundreds of images and then sort of averaging them into a single noisy image
341. 57:12and den noising them so it has no awareness of what's actually in the image um even though it seems impossible
342. 57:19that that's how it works oh that one's really cool the Central Park with people on a on a checkerboard it doesn't look
343. 57:28like people licking the Big Apple but yeah anyway that's kind of cool so that's Dolly within uh within chat gbt
344. 57:37let me show you one other thing that it can do that's just wild um Dolly has really good is the prompt saved as an
345. 57:46ALT tag by any chance that's a good question um let me do save image as yeah it's not it's not saving the prompt
346. 57:59like stable diffusion in mid Journey when you save the images it generally Saves The Prompt as the file name or or a good chunk of
347. 58:07it um so it doesn't look like it's doing that and then let's pop over and see if I do get

385. 1:05:26are going to take their um their creative eye their skills and go okay I don't want something like everyone else

527. 1:28:08resubmit the prompt um you you can you can use the same prompt over and over and over again and you'll always get
528. 1:28:15different images even if they're in the same style because it's generative AI is actually generating a original art as
529. 1:28:23much as there's all this this noise about it's stealing it's copying and pasting it's not it's not the way it
530. 1:28:30works um has it been trained on copywritten data with the exception of the Adobe Firefly stuff yes it has um is
531. 1:28:37it copying and pasting from other people's work no it's not it's not how the technology works so that's why you
532. 1:28:42always get different things each each time you do it um but but let's say we kind of like the creepy of this
533. 1:28:49creepiness of this top one so I'm going to hit V1 variation one and then that's going to submit a new prompt for me down
534. 1:28:55at the bottom here making variations of that one so we're going to get four different ones that'll be very similar in
535. 1:29:03style the other thing you'll notice when it makes images it starts out as this sort of vague blob and then it gets less
536. 1:29:09Blobby and then less Blobby and then it's like a blurry version and then it gets sharper and sharper and sharper
537. 1:29:15that's when they call these things diffusion models all of these images start fully diffused where you can't see
538. 1:29:22anything and then over a series of like 50 steps or 30 steps it Den noises the image um and and sort of D diffuses it
539. 1:29:32and makes it sharper so that's how they're actually produced um I don't like any of those so we're going to go back up to the one

613. 1:41:48pieces for the platform there's worldcoin which is a cryptocurrency and then there's the the payment processing
614. 1:41:54system so like think PayPal but proprietary or or you know proprietary to this network so you have those three
615. 1:42:02components an identity system a currency and a payment platform so right now the the worldcoin is reaching out to the
616. 1:42:11development community and saying hey build a Twitter based on this platform build the next eBay based on this
617. 1:42:17platform build the next um Facebook built on this platform you're going to be able to make money and spend
618. 1:42:30money in communities where it's just verified human beings there'll be no Bots right you can you can create things
619. 1:42:37that you can't participate in that platform unless you have a verified ID well where how are you going to make
620. 1:42:44that world coin how are you going to make that money okay right now here's here's the economy as flawed and [ __ ] up as it is
621. 1:42:54this is generally the econom is at some level of stasis right this many people work this many hours and generate this
622. 1:43:02much [ __ ] and this much money this much Prosperity what's going to happen with generative AI is that these people are
623. 1:43:11going to get more efficient they're going to get more productive and so productivity is going to go up at the

648. 1:46:30communication right they've been trained on most of the public internet and so these these machines are basically a
649. 1:46:37reflection back to us of of humanity so when you're interacting with it and people say well the robot did
650. 1:46:44this the robot did that it's not really what it's like when you interact with it like like when I'm when I'm making the
651. 1:46:50those images in chat GPT and I'm just talking to it kind of like I'm a creative director and it's an art
652. 1:46:55director and we're having this back and forth it feels weirdly human and these things um interact with you in weirdly
653. 1:47:04human ways and and so you know what Silver Fox experienced there I've experienced the same thing I was kind of
654. 1:47:11doing a test with someone talking about death and I mentioned something about my mother dying she's she's already died
655. 1:47:17but um but pi freaked out and it went whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa that's very serious are you okay and it totally caught me off
656. 1:47:29guard but but I I think this idea of virtual companionship and and the ability to talk through issues and have

795. 2:12:02want them to be but if if I look at what do is doing right now the DOI image Generation stuff if I look at what
796. 2:12:12um Advanced Data analysis does where it will just write its own python code and ex it I'm I'm sort of looking at
797. 2:12:20glimpses of autonomous agents within chat gbt right now and that's you know like the future the future is going to
798. 2:12:29be really something if so I think it's in everyone's interest who's on this channel if you're interested in this
799. 2:12:37stuff at all you should learn how to prompt you should learn how to talk to these things learn what they're good at

924. 2:32:05know um laser them you know uh ignore them and you know uh sort of take them out with snipers or whatever it is and
925. 2:32:13then what they claim is they'll give those recommendations to a general who will actually make the call they're
926. 2:32:18definitely not going to automate that but the only thing stopping them from automating that is someone choosing not to automate
927. 2:32:28it so so then you have some sort of battle field where the enemy moves from there to there and the AI comes up with
928. 2:32:36the scenario and says [ __ ] it let's go in boom so I don't know but I'm more worried about just you know Global
929. 2:32:44instability like you know I think I think the humans right now are a much bigger issue than the [ __ ] AI this
930. 2:32:51the AI we have right now is not that powerful maybe when we get the GPT 5 and six and these things are like the
931. 2:32:57autonomous agents that people were asking about when we get to that [ __ ] then then then we got to start paying a
932. 2:33:02bit more attention right now we should just all start learn learning these tools because they're coming uh Amelia's wife I found my

952. 2:36:01all my [ __ ] and I'd spend like three days building a database and then I'd make six entries in it and then never
953. 2:36:07use it again and and it so like somewhere in my mid-40s I was like oh I'm never going to be good at this and
954. 2:36:15then it just like the [ __ ] the the [ __ ] clouds opened up and the sun came shining through it's just like yeah
955. 2:36:22[ __ ] it just be your weird ass self and do the [ __ ] that you're good at and there's other people that love
