9/11/2025 - Create Excellence: Be Brave Enough to Share Your Work

Live Stream2025-09-122:05:3477 views
Description
Some nights I have a massive plan about what will happen. This isn't one of those nights.
In a recent livestream, Kyle Shannon discussed the evolving landscape of AI and the increasing need for excellence in AI-generated work. He observed that while AI models haven't dramatically improved recently, the ability to simply use AI tools is no longer enough. Shannon emphasized the importance of intent and vision, advocating for a more thoughtful and deliberate approach to AI creation. He introduced "create excellence" as a core value, urging creators to be brave enough to make something they're excited to share, pushing beyond mere competence to produce truly exceptional work.
Shannon also explored the democratizing power of AI, noting how it empowers individuals to realize creative projects they previously thought impossible. He encouraged viewers to embrace AI, citing examples of people creating children's books and other projects with the help of these tools. He then showcased live demonstrations of upscaling and outpainting an image using various AI platforms like Crea and Midjourney, providing a real-time glimpse into his creative process. He further engaged with his audience by remixing a song on Suno and submitting it to a contest, highlighting the platform's potential for collaborative music creation.

0:00 How about we just dance? We did the boom 0:03 shaboom, the dod mocha cha and the 0:06 nitty-gritty. We did the hooch, the lazy 0:08 ballerina. Baby, make me feel like I'm a 0:11 California dreamer. Yeah. 0:17 Wait. 0:29 [Music] 0:32 Hey Danielle, what's happening? What's 0:34 shaking good people? 0:39 [Music] 0:52 Woohoo! 0:57 [Music] 1:08 [Music] 1:18 [Music] 1:20 Wow! 1:22 [Music] 1:26 Girl, you're looking 1:31 find a night. 1:34 Every fella's got you in his sight. 1:39 [Music] 1:41 What you doing with a clown like me? 1:48 Wait. 1:53 [Music] 1:55 It's surely one of life's little 1:59 mystery. 2:00 So tonight I ask 2:04 [Music] 2:06 the stars above. 2:10 How did I ever win your love? 2:16 What did I do? 2:19 What did I say 2:22 [Music] 2:25 to turn to turn your ranger ass 2:31 my way? 2:36 [Music] 2:39 [Laughter] 2:41 [Music] 2:56 Woohoo! 3:00 Woohoo! 3:02 [Music] 3:08 [Applause] 3:09 [Music] 3:10 [Applause] 3:13 [Music] 4:00 [Music] 4:05 Oh, what is happening? Doing good 4:10 people. 4:12 I've got no plan tonight. I got the new 4:15 operating system in the Rabbit R1, so we 4:18 can play with that. 4:22 Um, 4:24 [Music] 4:28 I do want to talk about something 4:30 though. 4:33 [Music] 4:43 And that is 4:46 [Music] 4:47 I talk about this occasionally. 4:51 I talk about feeling like we're entering 4:52 a new era. And I feel like we're 4:54 entering a new era, but normally that's 4:57 been in the context of AI. Yeah. 5:02 Have you heard about this thing called 5:03 AI? It's going to be big. It's going to 5:05 be really big. Going to be really big. 5:07 You won't like it. I like them ters. 5:11 Um, 5:13 normally when I say we're in a new era, 5:16 it's like there's 5:18 a new phase of the technology. 5:20 It's not that. It's not that at all. In 5:23 fact, 5:25 everyone that I'm talking to, 5:28 because I don't I don't I don't know if 5:30 this is obvious to you, but I don't hang 5:33 out with quantum physicists that much. I 5:37 mean, sure, the occasional, 5:40 you know, Neil deGrasse Tyson sighting, 5:48 but but 5:53 Most of the people that I work with, 5:56 talk to about AI, who are using AI 6:01 are not noticing dramatic 6:05 improvements in the models. 6:10 Now, you could argue that Nano Banana is 6:12 a step change. You could argue that 6:16 some of the agentic stuff like Gen Spark 6:18 are kind of stepchangy. 6:22 OpenAI agent maybe no one's using it 6:24 that I know but just day-to-day chat 6:27 GPTing just basic AI use chat GPT5 is 6:32 just kind of a different personality 6:34 than GPT4 it's not super better it's not 6:38 super worse claude is in the same 6:40 neighborhood Grock is in the same 6:42 neighborhood 6:46 Gemini 6:49 and Yeah. So, so they're all they're all 6:51 in the same neighborhood just for basic 6:53 stuff. 6:58 And this channel and the AI salon 7:01 were started very very early in AI 7:06 and 7:10 the only 7:12 if you wanted to be a player like a 7:15 player. If you wanted to be a player, 7:20 um, all you had to do is be curious, 7:24 right? If you got fancy, you built a 7:27 custom GPT. 7:30 If you could do image prompting and 7:33 large language model prompting, and god 7:35 forbid, some some coding prompting over 7:38 here, some language prompting here, some 7:40 image prompting here, you were [ __ ] 7:41 killing it, right? 7:44 And the quality of work didn't really 7:45 matter. It was just that you could do 7:47 work that you could use this thing. 7:50 Cling on a cling. You mean cling AI or 7:54 cl? I assume you mean cling. 7:59 Yes. Okay. We'll go check that out. 8:02 Oh, I think I saw that earlier. 8:06 Here's the error that I think we're 8:07 entering. 8:12 I think we got to start doing better 8:13 work. 8:16 I think we got got to start doing higher 8:19 quality work. 8:22 More excellence. And more excellence. 8:27 Not just I can make chat GPT do 8:29 something cool but excellence like a 8:33 chain of intent, a chain of direction, a 8:35 chain of activities 8:38 that are leading to some grand vision 8:40 that maybe you have to use some 8:42 different tools to get there. 8:46 And I think it's so important that I'm 8:48 actually I'm actually developing a new 8:54 developing I'm articulating a new value 8:57 for the salon for the AI salon 9:01 and that new value is create excellence 9:06 and I think I'm going to 9:10 because you can't have even numbered 9:12 things right now we have five values And 9:14 so you can't have six values. You have 9:17 to have five or seven. It's just a rule. 9:19 Vicki knows. Vicki knows. There's just 9:22 certain rules you have in life. And 9:24 oddnumbered lists are one of them. It's 9:26 just the way it is. You have three, five 9:27 or seven, and that's it. Nine's too 9:30 many. No one No one can really deal with 9:32 seven. So five's kind of nice. 9:35 So we got to we got to retire one. 9:38 [Music] 9:40 Vicki. Yep. 9:44 I love you, Vicki. That's awesome. 9:50 Oh man. So, it's going to be five. 9:55 So, so if I think about create 9:57 excellence like there there were 10:00 let me let me unpack how I got to it. 10:02 The first thing was I realized that in 10:05 the AI salon values, we didn't have a 10:08 single value that was about the work. It 10:10 was all about connecting with people. So 10:13 there was curiosity and empathy and 10:15 playfulness and uh what was the fourth 10:19 one? Wait, hang on. 10:30 Um fourth one was bravery and the fifth 10:33 one was generosity. 10:37 And 10:39 if I think about 10:42 work, you know, you could put like 10:45 you could put excellence, you could put 10:47 creative. 10:49 Um, 10:51 at one point I thought creative 10:52 excellence. The problem with creative 10:54 excellence is it just makes it about 10:57 creative output like pictures and movies 10:59 and music. 11:03 And then I kind of landed on create 11:05 excellence. The problem with with just 11:07 excellence on its own is it just sounds 11:08 like one of those successories posters. 11:12 Excellence. We stand for excellence. 11:14 Everything we do here is going to be 11:16 excellent. 11:18 And what I landed on was create 11:20 excellence. 11:26 [Music] 11:30 When you're dealing with AI, when you're 11:32 dealing with an AI that's capable of 11:34 doing good work, 11:37 you don't have to put much effort in to 11:39 do good work. 11:41 But to do excellent work 11:45 is like a it's it's like a personal 11:49 it's a personal measure, right? Is this 11:52 work excellent? 11:55 And if you're just sort of lazy 11:57 prompting and squirting s stuff out, 12:00 it's not going to be excellent because 12:02 everyone can do that. 12:04 And so I think as as as a community in 12:06 the salon, but I think as a community of 12:09 AI professionals, I think this new era 12:12 is about us claiming our role 12:18 as people who can create excellence. And 12:22 how you create excellence is you stand 12:25 firm in an idea 12:28 and you stand committed in that idea. 12:30 So, so it means you have to have an idea 12:33 first. So create excellence is I'm not 12:36 just going to sit down at the keyboard 12:38 and vomit out crap. 12:42 Right? 12:43 Create excellence means we're going to 12:45 we're going to start at square zero. And 12:48 square zero is Huh. 12:51 What do I want to make? 12:54 Do I want to make an app? Do I want to 12:56 make a 12:58 an art project? 13:02 Do I want to take my photography and 13:05 find some way to reimagine it? Do I want 13:08 to start a business? 13:12 Who am I doing it for? Am I doing it for 13:15 myself? Am I doing it for my community? 13:18 Am I doing it for someone at work? Am I 13:20 doing it for someone I have a crush on? 13:26 And like take the time to have that idea 13:28 to have that 13:31 have enough understanding of your intent 13:36 to understand what good would look like 13:40 because you can probably get to good 13:42 pretty quickly, but at least you're in a 13:44 direction. 13:45 And then if you're going to create 13:47 excellence, what do you need to do to 13:49 take it to that next level? What do you 13:51 need to do to to elevate it? 13:55 [Laughter] 13:57 Are you are you a licensed instigator? 13:59 What what are your qualifications? I I 14:02 have instigated many an AI practitioner 14:05 and tonight I am instigating even 14:08 further. 14:10 What I'm saying is just doing it ain't 14:13 good enough anymore. 14:18 It's so funny. In the past three weeks, 14:20 I've had 14:22 I don't know, Brandon, four or five 14:24 different people who 14:27 have not been to the lives in a while 14:29 have come back in and commented like, 14:32 "Oh, you're still doing this?" 14:41 And I I like 14:45 like how I take that is 14:51 we're we're in a different phase. We're 14:53 in a different phase. And I think I 14:54 think we need to 14:59 I think one of the things I want to 15:00 explore in here is how do I elevate the 15:04 conversation so that we're not just 15:06 talking about here's how you vomit out 15:08 some stuff. Like even the video that we 15:11 did last night that I was really happy 15:12 with. 15:19 The tsunami is coming back in. So are 15:22 the views. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 15:26 Yeah. I think that's right. Um 15:30 last night was great. Here, let's look 15:31 at this video. 15:47 Alone on glass. 15:51 No pulse beneath. 15:55 A shadow wait 15:59 without a name. 16:03 A shimmer shift 16:06 then many more. 16:09 Like thoughts of born 16:12 and never called. 16:16 They turn as one but not for you. They 16:23 answer nothing. 16:26 Yet they move 16:30 left 16:32 right. 16:33 Not yours to go. 16:39 [Music] 16:51 [Music] 16:55 Rhythm red 16:58 beyond command. It pulls, it falls, 17:05 it vanishes. 17:11 Are you the eye 17:15 or the echo? Oh, 17:18 [Music] 17:22 are you the hush 17:26 or the hollow? 17:32 They come not. 17:36 They never speak. 17:40 Yet still. 17:43 >> So he did that over the past two nights. 17:46 Now, is that excellent? I don't know. 17:48 You may or may not think that that's 17:50 excellent. But 17:54 here's a 17:57 here's a a phrase in the definition of 18:00 this value that I'm working with. 18:05 So, we're getting rid of the the the 18:07 value of bravery. 18:09 I think doing excellent work, I think 18:12 creating excellence actually takes 18:14 courage. 18:16 Because you actually have to have a 18:18 point of view. And if you have a point 18:20 of view, that means that by definition, 18:23 some people are not going to agree with 18:25 that point of view. 18:27 They're not going to agree with it 18:28 creatively. They're not going to agree 18:29 with it politically. They're not going 18:30 to agree with it psychologically. 18:34 It's just not going to move them. It's 18:36 just going to be not their cup of tea. 18:39 So, there's something risky there. So, 18:42 one of the phrases that I'm working with 18:44 in the definition of create excellence 18:46 is be brave enough to make something 18:50 that you're excited to share. 18:55 And so, that little movie that we just 18:57 watched, 19:02 whether it's good or not, it excites me. 19:07 Like I love the story of how we got to 19:10 it. I loved that we were going to go 19:13 play with midjourney styles. We were 19:15 starting in this very external technical 19:18 kind of way. We were going to go look at 19:20 lists of style references 19:23 and then I just shouted out into the 19:24 ether someone come up with a prompt and 19:27 a couple of prompts came in and source 19:30 camp said 19:32 um 19:33 just keep swimming which is [ __ ] 19:36 weird. 19:38 So we just keep swimming and then we 19:40 just went and clicked on a bunch of 19:42 style references and and the prompt just 19:44 keep swimming. Click click click click 19:46 click click click click click. Right. 19:48 What is that? That's AI slop. Click, 19:50 click, click, click, click, click, 19:51 click. But it's not AI slop, is it? 19:55 Because we've got a specific prompt. 19:57 That's weird. 20:00 And we're going to compare that same 20:03 prompt across these different styles. 20:05 What are we looking for? I don't know. 20:09 What we could have found is nothing. 20:12 All right, we made some pictures. 20:16 Did we create something that I was 20:18 excited to share? Not yet. 20:26 Yeah. Normalize calling AI slop rough 20:29 drafts. Well, here's the thing. I think 20:31 if you generate if you generate AI slop, 20:35 just sort of thoughtless AI, and then 20:38 you share that with the world as if you 20:40 thought about it, that's AI slop. 20:43 But if you quickly make a bunch of stuff 20:45 in AI and you're using it to inspire 20:48 yourself or to entertain yourself or 20:49 whatever and you're not going to share 20:51 it, you're not exciting excited about 20:53 sharing it. That's just called practice, 20:57 right? 20:59 How many how many balls does 21:01 NovakJokovic hit that no one sees? 21:08 you know, Jordan, 10,000, you know, 21:11 10,000 foul shots. Was it a weekend, a 21:14 day? I don't know. I don't think it's 21:16 possible a day. But most of the shots 21:19 that Jordan took, no one saw. 21:23 I'm working on my first animation series 21:25 for kids using AI. I would love to chat 21:27 with you. Absolutely. DM me on the uh 21:31 either on LinkedIn or DM me on um the 21:35 mighty networks, the AI salon. 21:38 remember you commenting on how I kept 21:40 working through the images early on, 21:42 Kyle? Yeah. So, so this was a thing. 21:44 Corey Sandler early on when she first 21:46 started when she first discovered 21:49 I don't know if it was midjourney or 21:52 stable diffusion, whatever it was, 21:53 doesn't matter. It was one of the image 21:55 generation tools. 21:58 And I would I would get on here and I 22:01 would, you know, I'd get if I did three 22:04 or four prompts in a direction, I'd be 22:06 proud of myself. 22:08 And then I saw this work that Corey 22:11 Sandler was doing and she was doing 22:14 dozens of iterations. She would get 22:17 something and she would iterate on it 22:19 and then she would iterate on it and she 22:20 would iterate on it and she was doing 22:22 like glasses and she was doing these 22:24 custo oh it was custom GPTs. It was it 22:26 was when uh it was when Dolly Dolly 3 22:29 came out, the image generation part of 22:31 Chat GPT. And she was just digging 22:33 deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper 22:35 and she would run down these rabbit 22:37 holes. And like what what amazed me 22:40 about it was 22:45 about three or four layers in, I could 22:47 see where she was headed 22:49 and I could recognize that that's where 22:52 I would stop. 22:56 And not only did she keep going, she 22:58 kept going like deeper and deeper and 23:00 deeper and deeper and deeper. 23:03 And I remember asking her about it and 23:04 she goes, "Well, it's just that's not 23:06 it." 23:07 And she would go deeper. And she's like, 23:09 "That's not it." But it it was in a 23:11 direction. She wasn't going back up and 23:12 going across. She was going down. She 23:15 was running down this rabbit hole. And 23:17 she would get somewhere down toward the 23:18 bottom. at some point down there, she 23:21 would generate something that she's 23:23 like, "Yeah, that's one. That's one that 23:25 I'm excited to share. That's one that 23:28 that's one that I'm willing to put out 23:29 there." 23:35 Like, that's it, Corey. 23:38 That's it. 23:45 And I think that I think that that's 23:53 that it that it was good enough in the 23:55 early days to just dick around and just 23:58 be decently competent. 24:01 And I there's just too many too many 24:04 people are using tools that are too good 24:06 on their own 24:10 to just be curious anymore. So I think 24:12 curiosity is how you how you learn, 24:16 right? 24:17 Learn how you learn. I saw a really good 24:20 Tik Tok today that was about that. Learn 24:22 how you learn 24:26 and then keep learning. So, I think you 24:28 got to keep doing that. But I think 24:31 we're getting into the place like what 24:32 does it mean to be a professional in 24:35 generative AI? What does it mean to be 24:37 an AI artist? 24:40 What does it mean to be an AI creative 24:42 director? What does it mean to be an AI 24:43 producer? 24:46 Yeah, just keep learning. 24:49 I'm blending modern and renaissance in ' 24:51 80s colors. Oh, wait. 24:54 I use AI to challenge myself regarding 24:57 modern art. So, I'm blending modern and 24:59 renaissance with 80s colors. That That's 25:02 it. That's perfect, right? And so, and 25:04 like and what that what that starts to 25:07 look like, Mimi, is 25:11 you're in an exploration right now, 25:13 right? And so, so you're exploring these 25:16 worlds and you're using AI to mash these 25:18 things together and at some point some 25:21 image 25:23 is going to speak to you. I've I've I've 25:25 shared this image before many times, but 25:28 let me go show show it again because 25:36 I think there's something in it. 25:41 This image right here. 25:46 I'm not sharing right. Check the pin. 25:49 I'm new here. 25:52 Wait, what's your name? 25:55 Phil and Crafty. Oh, feeling crafty. 25:58 Phil and Crafty. Welcome, Phil. 26:02 I like your name. Yeah, I know. I got to 26:03 check I got to change my tabs. Hang on. 26:05 I got to change my sharing. Um, welcome. 26:07 If you're new here, my name is Kyle 26:08 Shann. I am wholly unqualified to be 26:11 doing anything resembling teaching. 26:13 Let's get that out of the way up front. 26:15 If you have not joined the AI salon, you 26:17 should go check it out. Go to 26:18 community.thesalon.ai. 26:24 And what that is is it's a community of 26:26 about 3,000 people. Now, not all of them 26:29 are active, 26:32 but it's a community of AI optimists. 26:34 And it's a community of people that are 26:35 trying to figure this [ __ ] out. 26:38 And and to a person, what I can promise 26:40 you is that as as as big of a head start 26:43 as they have on you, if you're like, 26:45 "Oh, that's going to be intimidating. 26:47 They know so much more than I do," 26:50 they know some more than you do. And 26:53 there is so much that they don't know 26:55 and that I don't know and that we don't 26:57 collectively know that no one 26:59 effectively knows anything. 27:03 So jump in, get engaged with community, 27:06 start hanging out with people that are 27:07 thinking about this stuff. So let me 27:08 tell you the story of this image. 27:13 Um just happened. Oh, 27:18 so if I if I if I'm just scrolling here, 27:20 like all these images, 27:22 this is when I got into stable diffusion 27:25 and a thing called Dream Booth where I 27:28 could upload pictures of myself and it 27:29 made all these crazy self-portraits. 27:33 And I started this project called Kyle 27:35 Shannon Dreams 27:37 where I'd share all these. And then one 27:39 day 27:41 I I forget what my process was. My 27:43 process was like I think I would find 27:45 someone else's prompt and then I would 27:48 come in and I would twist it. I would 27:49 just put some spin on it and then I 27:52 would just do that until I found like a 27:54 series that looked interesting and then 27:56 I would make five or six images and then 27:57 I'd move on. 28:01 And so in doing that one day, well, 28:05 let's see 28:09 that image came up. 28:12 I was like, "That's interesting." 28:14 And these these would take like two 28:16 minutes each. 28:21 And then that came up, I was like, "Oh, 28:23 that's interesting." And then that came 28:25 up, I was like, "Oh, that's really 28:26 interesting." And then that came up. And 28:30 when this image came up, 28:33 it literally took my breath away. It 28:35 literally I went I I literally gasped. I 28:38 was by myself. I think it was late at 28:40 night. I was just making images. This 28:43 image came up and I was like 28:46 and I got really emotional. I had like, 28:48 you know, chills run down my body 28:53 and I just sat with this image for a 28:56 long time. I actually I want to go 28:58 upscale this because I think it's just 29:00 such a beautiful image. Be nice to 29:01 upscale. 29:04 And I sat there for a long time looking 29:05 at it and 29:11 I was kind of hit with a 29:14 a sadness 29:16 and a euphoria at the same time. 29:22 And what that was about was 29:25 the euphoria was 29:28 if I had the skills 29:31 and the vision and the talent and enough 29:34 time and enough training, 29:37 this is the kind of art I would create. 29:42 Like this this was the first time in all 29:45 those images that I made, this was the 29:46 first image that I was like, "Oh my god, 29:48 that's me." like that's 29:51 that's me. And the sadness was 29:55 realizing 29:57 that that wasn't a path I took in my 29:59 life to have those skills. 30:02 But here I was in a moment with this 30:04 remarkable technology where I still made 30:07 an image that that came even though it 30:11 was sort of externally derived when it 30:13 showed up it was like that's me. That's 30:16 that's that's my aesthetic. That's my 30:20 thing. 30:22 We are all artists. 30:25 Make it a movie. See what happens. 30:27 Maybe. 30:32 And so, and so I think this is the 30:40 I don't have enough of those moments. 30:45 And I think with AI, it's really easy 30:47 not to have any of those moments. You 30:49 can just you can just get into this sort 30:52 of 30:54 steady, stunning. 30:58 It's like it's like flipping through Tik 31:00 Tok, right? 31:02 Endorphin hit. Endorphin hit. Endorphin 31:04 hit. Oh, that's pretty. That's nice. 31:11 But I think creating excellence requires 31:13 you to take a moment and say, "What do I 31:15 want? What does good look like?" 31:20 You found you. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. 31:23 Art is a verb, right? Live it. Yeah. 31:26 Exactly. 31:28 And it's scary. Create excellence. Be 31:31 brave enough to create something you're 31:33 excited to share. Because in order to 31:35 get to something you're excited to 31:37 share, you have to make a bunch of [ __ ] 31:42 that will test the edges of your 31:45 self-esteem. 31:49 Right. 31:51 Corey Sandler banging out those images. 31:53 Next, next. Next, next. Next. 31:57 Down. Down. Down. Down. Down. That's not 31:59 it. That's not it. That's not it. 32:03 at any point in that journey, she could 32:05 go, "I don't have talent. 32:07 I'm not good enough." 32:09 And maybe maybe she has those feelings, 32:11 but she keeps going, 32:14 right? I don't think she does. She's 32:17 she's she seems like a relatively stable 32:19 cool chick. I think she's got some of 32:21 this [ __ ] figured out, 32:24 but she keeps going. 32:26 And what makes her keeps going is she's 32:28 got a vision. She's got an intent. She 32:32 knows what she wants it to be. And until 32:34 it's that, she's not going to stop. 32:38 That's where I think we all need to get. 32:41 So, 32:43 so there I wanted to share that. 32:47 Feeling crafty. I created a story book 32:50 today and about fell out of my chair. 32:52 Well, that's I Well, and that's, you 32:54 know, that's that's kind of the stunning 32:56 thing about about AI is I don't know 33:00 your background. Um, Phil 33:03 Phil and Crafty, I don't know your 33:06 background, but 33:08 maybe you're a great illustrator, maybe 33:10 you're not. Maybe you're a great kids 33:11 book writer, maybe you're not. But with 33:14 AI today, you made a kids book. 33:17 Do you know how many people over the 33:19 years that I've talked to and they find 33:21 out I'm a writer or I'm a creative or 33:23 whatever, they say, "Oh, you know, I've 33:26 had this idea for a kids book for 20 33:28 years." 33:29 A lot a lot of people a lot of people. 33:35 And what stops them? Well, they didn't 33:38 go to art school. They can't draw. 33:40 They're not so good with the words. 33:43 They're really good at technical 33:46 writing, but they're horrible at 33:47 simpling things down, dumbing things 33:49 down. 33:51 They're bad at imagery. 33:54 Well, now you're now you now you now you 33:56 no longer have that limitation. 34:00 That's what AI does. What AI does is it 34:02 is it taps you into the possibility that 34:05 all the [ __ ] that you said you you 34:07 didn't think you could do, you can now 34:09 do to at least some degree and and very 34:13 often to a very high degree. 34:17 And then what's going to separate the 34:18 good from the bad? And what's going to 34:20 separate the work that stands above from 34:23 the work that just becomes noise 34:27 is excellence. 34:29 Is a human being 34:32 with access to the exact same tools that 34:35 everyone else has creating excellence 34:38 that is above the mean. 34:44 How do you do that? 34:48 That's [ __ ] art. That's That's the 34:50 creative process. 34:54 I make t-shirts, but I'm over 40 and I 34:56 understand that AI is here. Here you go. 34:58 This is it. And it's not going anywhere. 35:02 Phil and Crafty. 35:04 Hala fuckinglelujah. 35:09 That's the whole message of this 35:10 channel. The whole message of this 35:12 channel is there's this profound thing 35:16 amongst us. There's this profound suite 35:20 of capabilities 35:25 that are going to literally decimate 35:27 some jobs and make entirely new new jobs 35:31 possible. 35:33 And nobody, not a single person has any 35:37 idea where this is going. 35:40 And if it's not going anywhere, if if 35:42 all it's doing is accelerating, then we 35:45 have two choices in this world, Phil. 35:48 And you [ __ ] hit it. Well, you chose 35:51 you chose the path that I that that this 35:53 channel is about. You either deal with 35:55 it or you don't. 35:58 And if you deal with it, you learn that 36:01 you can take your t-shirt making skills 36:05 and you can go into this thing, you can 36:07 go, huh, if I take that vision I have 36:10 for what goes on a t-shirt and I twist 36:12 it slightly, that could be a kids story 36:15 and then I could take these images and 36:17 then I could make those and I could 36:19 probably write a kids book and an hour 36:21 [ __ ] later, two hours later, you have 36:23 a kids book. 36:27 Holy [ __ ] 36:31 And there's just a whole other pile of 36:33 people that are like, "Nope, 36:36 not going to do it. It's the world's 36:38 greatest plagiarism machine. It's just a 36:40 stochastic parrot. Hey, I can't do 36:42 anything creative. 36:44 Hey, I can't do anything creative." Look 36:46 at that image. 36:52 It took me [ __ ] 3,000 images to get 36:54 to that image. 36:56 Oh, no. Literally two minutes. I was 36:58 floored. Yeah, there you go. Exactly. 37:02 Exactly. Corey Sandler, I'm a 63y old 37:04 potter. As analog as it gets and AI is 37:07 absolutely now, 37:09 a friend just contacted me today to talk 37:11 about writing a book. Coincidence? I 37:13 think not. Right. Create excellence. 37:15 Silver Fox, 37:19 if you say to AI, write me a book, is it 37:21 going to write you a good book? No. 37:25 It's going to write you a pile of [ __ ] 37:30 But if you say, "Hey, I've got this idea 37:32 for this book 37:35 and it's got birds in it and it's got 37:38 Dan Brown's got this new book, The Da 37:40 Vinci Code. Dan Brown, he's got this new 37:42 book that's about 37:44 um like uh 37:49 treasure hunting inside consciousness. 37:54 I'm absolutely fascinated to read it. I 37:56 hate reading, but I love the Da Vinci 37:58 Code and it's some it's some crazy 38:00 amount of pages. It's it's big. It's but 38:02 it's about treasure hunting inside 38:04 consciousness. 38:07 Can you write an excellent book using 38:10 AI? Yes, you can. 38:13 But not by just thoughtlessly hitting, 38:17 give me a book. 38:21 Like even the book you made in two 38:22 minutes, Phil, it's probably good, but 38:24 you probably look through it and well 38:25 that's kind of weird. That's kind of 38:26 weird. Okay, that's your point of view. 38:29 Lean into that. Tighten that up a bit. 38:32 Go look at it. And you can go from a 38:34 good book to an excellent book in four 38:37 minutes. 38:42 So anyway, 38:46 so I think this is where I'm going to 38:47 start pushing us. This where I'm going 38:49 to start pushing this channel 38:52 is not just can you use the tool, but 38:56 can you use the tool 38:58 and be brave enough with it to generate 39:01 something that you'd be excited to 39:03 share? 39:06 And like, have you done that today? 39:16 Have you made something today that 39:18 you're excited to share? Not that you're 39:21 willing to share. 39:23 That's good. 39:26 Willing to share is good. Excited to 39:28 share. 39:31 That video I made last night that we 39:33 played and I took all the time to post 39:35 and I yelled at Elon Musk about for not 39:39 having an upload service. I got done 39:41 with this. You know what I The first 39:43 thing I did? I went into my wife. Want 39:44 to see what I made? Like like like a 39:47 [ __ ] seven-year-old. I made a 39:50 picture. Were you hanging on the fridge? 39:54 Remember being excited to share [ __ ] 39:56 when you were seven? 39:59 Then daddy's like, "Well, you're not 40:01 very talented, are you?" [ __ ] I guess 40:03 I'm not an artist. 40:06 [ __ ] 54 years later, you're like, 40:08 "No, I'm not an artist. Daddy told me 40:10 so. Then you find AI and you're like, 40:13 hey, maybe I am an artist. 40:19 That takes courage. It takes courage to 40:22 say, I'm going to make something I'm 40:24 proud of. I'm going to make something 40:25 I'm excited to share. I'm going to be 40:28 willing to run down that rabbit hole and 40:30 produce piece after piece after piece 40:33 after piece. That's not quite right. Not 40:35 quite right. Not quite right. That's not 40:36 it. That's not it. That's not it. That's 40:38 not it. 40:40 I'm going to have the guts to keep going 40:44 until I see something like this image 40:47 that [ __ ] takes your breath away. 40:52 When this image came up, I went and I 40:54 changed all of my profile pictures on 40:56 every every one of my social media 40:58 things to this. 41:01 I posted it everywhere. I wrote up a 41:04 little story about it. 41:07 this is what I would make if I had the 41:09 skills to do it. 41:15 People didn't get it. They were like, 41:17 "Well, maybe you should just go take a 41:19 Photoshop lesson there, Kyle." Hey, 41:21 Kyle, you know what I was thinking? You 41:24 were saying earlier you were a 41:25 talentless oaf, and I don't think you're 41:27 a talentless oaf. I just think you 41:29 haven't taken the right lessons. Maybe 41:31 if you go take some Photoshop lessons, 41:33 you could learn some layering and some 41:35 compositing and then you could do this. 41:43 Oh, good lord. 41:46 To see with one eye is to face the truth 41:48 without flinching. The whole sky 41:50 reflected in a single gaze. This is the 41:53 eye that watches us back. 41:57 Asking whether we are able to awake the 42:00 future. we are making. Yeah. It is the 42:03 mirror of the soul and the machine 42:05 reminding us that creation and 42:07 responsibility are the same act. Create 42:10 excellence. Create it. It's a choice 42:17 to move beyond good. It's a choice to 42:19 move beyond good. 42:21 So, 42:23 all right. 42:26 Soapbox is over. 42:35 Corey Sandler, your image on your screen 42:37 is exactly about you being the brain be 42:40 behind AI. Wow. You know what? You're 42:43 right. It is 42:48 the 42:51 Corey. That is 43:01 Right. The human being right there is 43:03 Oz. 43:07 Right. The Oz behind the curtain. 43:13 Put that on a shirt. 43:16 Yeah. Let's go. Let's go upscale this 43:17 bad boy. 43:21 Let's see. Let me export this. 43:25 God, the export function in Apple Photos 43:28 is so [ __ ] bad. 43:35 It's the AI. Exactly. 43:39 Exactly. 43:41 Yeah. No, but it it really is like like 43:43 AI is like this mysterious 43:46 thing that can see better than we can 43:48 see, can think better than we can think, 43:50 is this mysterious thing that clouds our 43:53 vision and yet gives us vision. 43:57 Corey, I didn't I've never it that never 44:00 hit me that this is the that I am 44:05 behind. 44:07 I am sitting there being empowered by 44:11 this thing, 44:13 but it's on me. It's around me. It's 44:15 feeding me. It's amplifying me. 44:18 That's [ __ ] brilliant. Okay, 44:22 let's go 44:25 to Korea. 44:37 We're going to go to the enhancer. 44:52 Korea enhance. This is the best one, 44:54 right? Korea's powerful thing. Topaz 44:57 Topaz Generative 45:00 Expensive Model 40 seconds. 45:04 30 seconds. Crea Legacy. We'll do Crea 45:06 Enhance. 45:10 AI strength. Let's put that pretty high. 45:13 Resemblance. I don't really care. 45:17 Clarity. I want clarity. Much higher. 45:19 Sharpness 45:21 kind of middle high. Match color. 45:24 Yeah, I don't really care about that. 45:28 Forex. 45:31 Let's 4x this bad boy up. Let's go. 45:33 Boom. 45:37 So, where I am right now is 45:38 ka.ai/enhancer. 45:42 So, Crea, there's a couple of very 45:44 interesting tools out. One of them is um 45:48 Deco here. One of them is Leonardo. One 45:51 of them is Crea. 45:55 One of them is Po, 45:57 although Po's not quite as specialized 46:01 where they have a front end, but you you 46:04 get access to a bunch of different 46:06 models. Higsfield is one of those. 46:09 Oh, it changed the color. I don't know 46:11 if I like it. 46:14 No, it's too much. 46:17 But like, let's zoom in on it. 46:22 Like, I like the texture of that stuff, 46:26 but like look what it did to my skin. 46:28 Made it made it terrifying. 46:33 Well, your skin's already pretty bad, 46:34 Kyle. Yeah. Yeah, I know. Okay. Um, 46:41 so I guess I just go back here. So, let 46:43 me go back to 2x instead of 4x. 46:47 We're going to go AI strength 46:51 halfway. Resemblance, we'll do that 46:53 higher. Clarity will lower it a bit. 46:56 Sharpness, we'll lower it a lot. I'm 46:57 going to turn match color back on. And 47:00 enhance. All right, let's go back to 47:02 Let's go back to the drawing board. Dear 47:04 kids, 47:06 couldn't you do it in Canva? probably if 47:08 I knew Canva 47:10 lower the sharpen level. Yeah, here we 47:12 go. This looks better. 47:15 Oh, I love the Look at the pattern in 47:17 the eye. That's looking cool. 47:25 Yeah, that's pretty sweet. Although, it 47:27 got rid of all of our 47:30 these things 47:33 in the upscale. I don't like that. So, 47:36 why did it do that? So, let's we'll do 47:38 resemblance higher, AI strength 47:41 lower, 47:43 clarity higher, 47:47 and let's go back to 4X. Go. 47:55 And then I think what I'm going to do, 47:59 you know, be, you know, be fun tonight. 48:08 The AI. 48:11 We are the vision behind the AI. That's 48:14 so good. That's so good. Clarity 40. Oh, 48:18 clarity 40. All right, fine. 48:23 I don't I haven't [ __ ] around with 48:24 these things enough to know what's good, 48:27 what's not. All right, let's go looking. 48:29 All right, look. It kept our It kept it 48:31 kept our little eyelashes. 48:35 All right, this looks pretty good, 48:37 actually. 48:39 I love these two little eyes right here 48:41 in the fur. 48:47 Pretty 48:53 slick, 48:55 right? Let's go look at the face. Yeah, 48:57 that's not bad. That looks pretty good. 49:11 Let me try it with clarity down at 40. 49:14 I'm going to do AI strength up a little 49:16 bit. All right, try it again. We can go 49:19 back to that one. 49:27 Um, I can do that. Corey 49:36 Corey 49:39 Corey Sandler. 49:44 No, that's not what I wanted. 49:49 Plus 49:51 I 49:56 All right, there you go. It's a a DM on 49:58 the AI salon. Corey, 50:04 where was I? 50:09 There. 50:11 No, I don't like that. 50:15 That's the AI being turned up. That's 50:17 not good. 50:26 I'm going to put clarity at 50, 50:28 resemblance 90, 50:32 sharpness, and we'll leave that at 40. 50:36 Go. 50:44 Wow. 50:47 What are we doing in here? So, here's 50:49 what we're doing in here. I I got up on 50:51 a soapbox and I talked about excellence 50:55 and creating excellence. Create 50:58 excellence 51:00 is a conscious act 51:02 and it requires courage. 51:06 That's what we've been talking about. 51:11 I think I like that eye with the weird 51:14 the weird noniris in it. 51:31 Look at the detail. Isn't this [ __ ] 51:33 amazing? We live in a time where a 51:37 computer can generate that kind of 51:39 detail. 51:42 That's [ __ ] bonkers. 51:45 Look. Look what we had. 51:49 Can I zoom in more? I don't know if you 51:51 can see it, but it's like it's like all 51:53 pixels. And now it's not pixels. Not 52:01 what a time. 52:06 Okay. Do I like this one better? 52:17 I do think I like this one better. It 52:19 doesn't have the sharpening artifacts. 52:30 I don't know how much you can see that. 52:31 I This is pretty cool. 52:37 All 52:52 right. 52:54 So, we're going to download this now. 52:57 We're going to go We're going to go 52:58 exploring. We're going to go exploring. 53:05 Nanobanana gave me a 500 megabyte file 53:08 in Adobe Firefly. 53:10 I don't understand what you mean. Oh, 53:11 you can do Nanobanana inside Firefly. I 53:14 know there's a plugin for Nano Banana 53:16 inside uh Photoshop right now that you 53:18 can get. 53:20 Okay, but here's what we're going to do. 53:21 We're going to go take this this here 53:23 bad mamajamba 53:25 enhanced eye. 53:29 Oh, let's see. Oh, let me open it. 53:37 That's so good. All right, we're going 53:40 to upload that into Mid Journey. 53:52 So now we're in midjourney. 53:56 We're going to go edit 53:59 edit uploaded image. 54:02 Downloads enhanced. 54:59 prompt man with allseeing eye. We're 55:01 going to lower stylization to 50. 55:07 Just see what we get. 55:18 I actually I don't want much more. I 55:20 just I I don't want any additional kind 55:22 of [ __ ] around this. I just want a 55:24 little more breathing room. 55:35 What is he using? 55:37 So the original image was made in stable 55:39 diffusion with dream booth. I just 55:42 upscaled it in crea and now I'm in 55:45 midjourney 55:47 uh outpainting it 55:50 although it doesn't look like it's 55:51 actually working right now. 56:00 Good lord people. 56:07 GenSpark has a new browser. That's 56:09 interesting to me. Did they have an old 56:10 browser? I think they did. I think it 56:13 was pretty shitty. Maybe they made it 56:15 better. 56:22 10% complete. 56:29 Check the tweet. It's interesting. Okay, 56:31 I'll go look at it. 56:35 Why is this taking so long? Oh, I know 56:37 why it's taking so long. Because of all 56:39 of you 56:42 be- because of all of you, 56:45 I ran out of fast credits on midjourney. 56:51 So So everything's in draft mode or or 56:54 in relaxed mode or whatever the [ __ ] it 56:56 is. All right, this is good. Oh, that 56:59 was a good one. Okay, this one right 57:01 here. 57:03 This is great. Okay, we're going to 57:05 upscale this to the gallery. 57:16 Korea can outpaint 57:18 the larger images. Midjourney chokes. 57:21 Oh, interesting. 57:23 Oh, I didn't even think about doing this 57:24 in Korea. Of course, I could do it in 57:26 Korea. I don't know how to do it in 57:27 Korea. Do I do it? I don't do it right 57:30 here, do I? 57:32 So, where do I do that? Crea. 57:37 Um, 57:39 edit. Probably edit, right? 57:42 Rearrange objects, blend objects, or 57:45 expand edges. Upload image. Great. 57:49 Enhanced eye. 57:51 All right. 57:54 Two. Oh, two. Three or four. All right. 57:56 We'll do two. 57:59 Edit. 58:02 Oh, I got access to Korea real time 58:04 video. 58:06 We can go play with that 58:09 image. 58:12 No. 58:13 A [ __ ] What did I do? 58:16 Ah, damn it. 58:21 So, what am I supposed to do here? 58:23 Anybody? 58:28 Anybody know what I'm supposed to do? 58:32 Wait, me, too. 58:34 I couldn't work out how to get to relax 58:37 mode. Oh, I'll show you that. I don't I 58:39 can help you, Vicki. I can help you. I 58:41 feel like we all have to help one 58:42 another. Okay, to get to relax mode, you 58:45 go to settings 58:48 and then it's right here, right under 58:50 aesthetics over to the right. 58:53 You've got the modes right here. Speed, 58:57 fast, turbo, and relaxed. 59:01 I haven't used Korea in decades. I know. 59:03 I know. I feel the same way, Silver Fox. 59:07 And it's like you can't Korea is not 59:09 what it used to be. It used to be this 59:11 really simple thing. Nano Banana. Edit 59:17 bottom left. 59:27 reference. 59:29 I don't see it. I don't know where I'm 59:31 supposed to change the get out painting, 59:34 but anyway, it doesn't matter. We We did 59:36 it over in Midjourney. So, let's go 59:38 let's go find our image here. 59:41 Let's zoom in. 59:45 All right. Midjourney kind of softened 59:47 things up. But look what look what it 59:48 did that I love. It gave us this little 59:50 eye. This little this little fern like 59:54 eye appendage. 59:59 All right. Now we've got Oh, yeah. It It 1:00:02 totally [ __ ] killed the detail in 1:00:04 here. Yeah, that sucks. In fact, that 1:00:07 sucks bad enough that I'd probably 1:00:09 Photoshop some [ __ ] in. All right, so 1:00:11 let's let's do let's do two things. 1:00:14 Um, I'm going to download this. 1:00:18 I'm going to go back. Back. Yeah. And 1:00:21 then I'm going to download this 1:00:24 because I think the skin on this one's 1:00:28 going to be better. 1:00:30 One of the things that mid Journey does 1:00:33 is it [ __ ] destroys skin. You upscale 1:00:37 skin and details. Yeah, this is much 1:00:39 better. 1:00:41 Okay. So, we're going to take this back 1:00:43 into Korea. Now, now that we're now that 1:00:45 now that we're wider, 1:00:48 we have more image and we have the 1:00:50 little 1:00:52 thing at the top that I like. We're 1:00:53 going to go back into Crea Enhance 1:00:56 because I don't know how to 1:00:59 upscale there. 1:01:02 It's relatively simple, Kyle. If you 1:01:04 just looked at the menu items, it would 1:01:06 be a relatively straightforward 1:01:08 exercise. 1:01:14 [Music] 1:01:16 Click enhance to start. No, I didn't 1:01:19 want to do that one. I want a new one. 1:01:21 Close. Upload. 1:01:24 All right. 1:01:31 Is this someone with a bad skin? 1:01:40 I think it is. 1:01:42 Oh, no, it's not. That's the one with 1:01:45 the bad skin. Okay, good. Perfect. 1:01:48 Open. 1:01:53 And so, it's already So, if we two, 1:01:55 let's just try 2xing it. So, back to 1:01:57 this. Are these where they were? No. All 1:01:59 right. So, we want resemblance higher, 1:02:02 AI strength lower, 1:02:05 clarity pretty high, sharpness not too 1:02:08 high, and match color on. 1:02:11 Go. 1:02:13 All right. 1:02:15 Oh, because apparently I'm basic. Just 1:02:18 ask my kid. Oh, but your relaxed is 1:02:21 grayed out. Oh, you might not be. Oh, 1:02:24 Vicki, 1:02:26 go look at the different subscription 1:02:28 plans on Midjourney. I I went up to the 1:02:31 $60 a month midjourney plan because I'm 1:02:35 an idiot. That was it. That's it. And 1:02:40 I think it's only at the $60 midjourney 1:02:43 thing that you get unlimited relaxed 1:02:48 as I recall. 1:02:50 That's what it is. 1:02:53 Yeah. No. Oh, no relax because you're on 1:02:55 basic. I I see. Yes, that's you said 1:02:57 that. Okay. 1:03:00 Okay, this is good. 1:03:02 I like this a lot. I like that it 1:03:05 cleaned that up. 1:03:12 I want it to have a little more 1:03:15 clarity. I'm going to lower clarity. 1:03:19 I'm going to increase resemblance a bit 1:03:21 more. 1:03:26 Try it again. 1:03:31 It's okay. I don't get sarcasm either. I 1:03:34 speak it. Don't understand it. 1:03:43 Okay. I think I know where I'm going 1:03:45 here. 1:03:46 I don't quite. 1:03:51 So, 1:03:52 anyone who's actually paying attention 1:03:54 to this image and what it means 1:03:58 I think what I might do is take when we 1:04:00 get this image to a happy place, go into 1:04:02 Nana Banana 1:04:05 and put this character in different 1:04:09 scenarios. 1:04:13 I think I don't know. I don't know what 1:04:15 I want to do. 1:04:28 I'm not super crazy about what it's 1:04:30 doing to the eye. 1:04:32 I like what it's doing to the hair. 1:04:42 Oh my god, it's so much better. 1:04:45 The the detail 1:04:49 so much better. 1:04:51 Damn. 1:04:53 All right, this is good. This is good. 1:04:58 Let me let me let me zoom out on this 1:05:00 thing. 1:05:04 All right. So, we're going to download 1:05:06 this. 1:05:07 We're going to do one more one more 1:05:09 pass. We're going to go to photo slop. 1:05:19 I think this is a LinkedIn article, 1:05:21 isn't it? 1:05:23 about create excellence, about 1:05:30 being willing to step into it and 1:05:42 huh, 1:05:43 that's [ __ ] wild. 1:05:46 I think I like the eye better on 1:05:50 the non-enhanced version. 1:05:53 Oh, well, let's go to Photolop. 1:05:57 All right, open. 1:06:05 Where did I I downloaded that thing. 1:06:07 Enhanced. This is it, right? 1:06:14 Yeah, I think that's it. 1:06:22 All right. 1:06:54 [Music] 1:07:04 Da da. 1:07:07 But da da da da. 1:07:27 midtone shadows 1:07:30 50%. All right. So, what I'm doing now 1:08:15 All right. I'm I'm dodging and burning 1:08:18 right now. 1:08:22 If you don't know what that is, it's 1:08:24 photography crap. 1:08:29 Yeah, that's better. 1:08:47 And then I'm going to take the old yield 1:08:49 sharpen tool. 1:08:57 Normal strength 50. We'll do strength 1:09:00 30. 1:09:51 Now I'm just doing a little sharpening 1:09:54 where I want it. 1:10:02 I'm now going to have a nice high-res 1:10:04 version of this thing that's always been 1:10:07 low res. It's kind of cool. 1:10:18 Let me adjust some colors here. Hang on. 1:10:47 [Music] 1:10:53 your favorite profile pick. The one 1:10:55 that's like 6K. 1:11:00 Where's my Is it levels 1:11:03 that has the different colors? 1:11:09 I don't just want RGB. I want 1:11:14 the [ __ ] is it? 1:11:19 Color balance. Oh, hue saturation. This 1:11:23 is it. Master. Here we go. 1:11:26 All right. So, magentas. 1:11:30 Okay. There's just a little bit of 1:11:31 magenta. 1:11:36 reds. 1:11:39 So, what the [ __ ] are these other 1:11:41 colors? 1:12:08 Nothing there. 1:12:12 Ah, there we go. Okay. 1:12:35 Okay. You can't tell. All right. Um, 1:12:38 let me do one other thing here. 1:13:05 All right, 1:13:07 I think we got it. All right, so now 1:13:10 we're going to export as PNG. 1:13:13 And where am I going to save this bad 1:13:15 Larry? 1:13:17 Export. 1:13:20 Quick export as PNG. So I'm going to 1:13:22 call this 1:13:28 behind 1:13:33 the 1:13:35 A I 1:13:37 [Laughter] 1:13:42 will save it to desktop for now. We'll 1:13:45 go import it back into photos. 1:13:49 Wonder if I can just drop it right here 1:13:51 with this one. 1:13:53 Probably not 1:13:59 behind the AI. 1:14:02 Why can I not add to that 1:14:07 library 1:14:08 import? 1:14:13 [Music] 1:14:20 Oh, I think I crashed my machine. Yeah. 1:14:22 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right, we'll 1:14:24 save this in Photo Slop. 1:14:28 Cuz it's gorgeous. It's just gorgeous. 1:14:31 Y'all like it? Y'all like the picture? 1:14:34 Do you like the picture? Mama, am I 1:14:37 pretty? You have nice hair. 1:14:40 Oh, mama. 1:14:42 Um, 1:14:45 quit Photoshop. I think my machine has 1:14:48 crashed. Has crashed. 1:14:50 I'm pretty sure my machine has crashed. 1:14:53 Has crashed. Oh, no it hasn't. Okay. 1:14:59 Where? There we go. That's importing 1:15:03 that. 1:15:07 And this is the new one. 1:15:11 Yes. 1:15:13 With our little curly queue. I love the 1:15:15 little curly queue. 1:15:16 Okay. 1:15:18 Wow. We now have that. Okay. So, now 1:15:21 now. 1:15:25 All right. 1:15:27 Let's go. Let's go to the Gemini. Now, 1:15:31 all that work we did. 1:15:33 Oh, by the way, look at this. Look at 1:15:36 this. I made last night after I left you 1:15:37 all. Champ the singing dog with with a 1:15:42 skinny me and a guitar and a leather 1:15:44 jacket. 1:15:49 How cool is that? 1:15:57 Yeah. 1:16:00 Okay. I posted my personal challenge. 1:16:03 I've always loved this image. Oh, the 1:16:05 the uh behind AI. Now we know what it's 1:16:07 called. Behind AI. 1:16:12 Get it? behind AI and I ah and AI ah so 1:16:19 clever so [ __ ] clever okay plus 1:16:23 upload files 1:16:27 behind AI there we go 1:16:33 we're going to try we're going to go 1:16:34 nano banana then I'm going to say 1:16:40 aspect 1:16:42 ratio IO 1:16:44 equals quotes 16 1:16:48 colon 9 1:16:53 space um 1:16:59 man with large eye 1:17:06 stands on a 1:17:09 dark stage. age 1:17:18 and a black 1:17:21 turtleneck. 1:17:47 and 1:17:50 dark 1:17:54 fitted pants. 1:18:10 It's 1:18:12 an homage 1:18:14 to a Steve Jobs 1:18:20 reveal. 1:18:24 Small 1:18:28 sans sif 1:18:31 thin font. 1:18:39 in 1:18:42 small 1:18:43 light gray letters 1:18:49 says 1:18:53 behind 1:18:56 AI 1:19:02 is you. 1:19:14 I think that's a little too obvious, but 1:19:18 let's try it. Smart pants. Exactly. 1:19:23 With a silver chain and a similar eye 1:19:28 in a medallion hanging from chain waist 1:19:30 level. 1:19:32 Do we have did Did it do it? Did it do 1:19:34 it? I can help with the images, but I 1:19:36 can't depict public features. 1:19:40 I just want it reminiscent 1:19:47 of an apple presentation. 1:19:54 But the man is the one in the image. 1:20:01 Uh, safety guard rails make me [ __ ] 1:20:05 crazy. 1:20:14 Absolutely. Here's an image that's 1:20:15 represent represent 1:20:18 reminiscent of an apple. 1:20:23 Behind AI is you. 1:20:33 I also can't believe 1:20:37 they [ __ ] watermark everything. 1:20:55 16 colon 9. [ __ ] it. Maybe I 1:22:11 should just be the [ __ ] weirdo. 1:22:20 Yeah, look at this. It can't Nano Banana 1:22:24 like once it gets locked into an aspect 1:22:26 ratio, you can't [ __ ] snap it out of 1:22:29 it. It drives me [ __ ] baddy. 1:22:36 They're looking up to the right one. 1:22:38 Wait, is that the one on X? 1:22:44 Oh, they're looking up to the right one. 1:22:46 Oh, your standard profile pick. Blue 1:22:48 shirt. Yeah, that one needs to be 1:22:49 retired. 1:22:56 Yeah, maybe maybe I should I should do 1:22:58 it in the uh in the AI salon, too. Oh, 1:23:02 yeah. This one. Oh, yeah. Let's Let's 1:23:04 [ __ ] change this one here. Personal 1:23:06 settings. 1:23:09 Oh, but I got to make it I got to make 1:23:10 it smaller, right? Okay. Hold hold, 1:23:13 please. 1:23:15 Let's go. Okay, Photoshop's gone. All 1:23:17 right, so we can resize this. 1:23:20 So, I'm going to go duplicate. 1:23:27 So, we'll go SM 1:23:31 and then we'll go tools image size 1:23:37 and we'll go width 400. 1:23:41 And now we'll go 600. Let's go radical. 1:23:44 Go 600. 1:23:49 [Music] 1:23:51 Yeah, that's good. And then we'll save 1:23:53 it as a JPEG. Export to JPEG. 1:24:00 Sam. Okay. Beautiful. 1:24:21 [Music] 1:24:25 All right. So I have to change this. 1:24:29 So we're going to duplicate this one. 1:24:34 And now we're going to call this one 1:24:36 square. 1:24:43 All right. And then we're going to go 1:24:46 right. 1:24:56 Right. 1:24:57 Yeah, 1:24:59 I think that's good. 1:25:36 All right, crop that. 1:25:40 Save that. 1:25:43 Back to here. 1:25:52 [Applause] 1:25:57 It didn't really change it. Okay, fine. 1:25:59 Whatever. 1:26:02 It made me feel better. Okay, there's 1:26:04 that. What image should we put here? Um, 1:26:09 oh, I know what I should put there. Let 1:26:11 me just look up the word muscle. And then I wondered, 2:04:35 what if I make it? Will I like it? In 2:04:37 this case, I do. Yeah. Mixing the 80s 2:04:40 aesthetic with classical art. That's 2:04:42 very cool. iPhone light, fragile, it 2:04:45 floats. That's funny. 2:04:55 [Music] 2:04:59 Oh, there's real time video. Very cool. 2:05:01 Okay, cool. 2:05:03 Groovy, fantastic job. Uh, so it should be 2:05:19 8:00, but if it changes, I will let 2:05:22 producer Brandon know and he will pass 2:05:24 along the word. But, uh, yeah, but thank 2:05:27 you all for hanging out tonight and, uh, 2:05:29 indulge in me. Peace out. Have a good 2:05:31 one.
