24. 6:52marketing the next world changing AGI essentially how you Market nfts they're using if if this is indeed this new powerful agentic reasoning

26. 7:20silly it very much reminds me of nft bros wondering if they got an nft bro in their marketing department spending some

47. 12:23Christmas and New Year an and I decided hey let's let's let's do like a 20 4 Hour GPT Aon and we did and this
48. 12:32community built 150 gpts for nonprofits in 24 hours was super cool super super cool and Murphy is boss she is olama first or
49. 12:46Pinocchio I don't know I've I've installed Pinocchio I haven't I haven't played with AMA I mean I think Pinocchio is more
50. 12:54wellknown but that doesn't matter like zappier is more wellknown than make and make is like the newer more modern
51. 13:00version of zappier so similar [ __ ] goes on with the with the these runtime environments so I don't know again I am
52. 13:10not the guy to ask about the open source World although this new this new flux model people are still losing their [ __ ]
53. 13:18over it it's been out for more than a week and people are still losing their [ __ ] over it so I it's it's the real
54. 13:24deal like it's it's still not quite mid Journey but a lot of people are comparing it to Mid Journey it's
55. 13:32open source and you know you which means you can have it on your computer for free um it's going to be slow you got to have an M1 Mac and
56. 13:43probably some decent GPU on a PC but that model looks pretty [ __ ] good flux what did I say did I say flux or did I say

59. 14:25model so mid Journey has this whole web front end and they've got this whole Discord front end and their model is the
60. 14:31mid Journey model right they're up to 6.1 and mid Journey flux. one is this new open-source freely available to everyone
61. 14:44model that generates images and it generates them as good as uh as mid journey and what what people are
62. 14:55starting to do with it now is they're creating what are called luras which are essentially fine-tune trainings on top
63. 15:04of it so like that's simple it's close enough modification you so you have the core model and like there's one I just
64. 15:12saw a whole bunch of posts on that's a realism model so they took a bunch of hyper realistic you know really nice
65. 15:19photos and they made a realism model so if you want things to look like real human beings it's really good at it so a
66. 15:27lot of a lot of the xers are saying you know you know we're not we're no longer going to be able to tell the difference
67. 15:35between AI generated or not and I I would like this this feels on track my my prediction was that by the end of the
68. 15:44year video would be good enough that you really couldn't tell it was AI generated um video I feel like probably
69. 15:52may go for another year before it's really really good but images images are pretty [ __ ] close right now now the
70. 15:59only the place where images Are Falling Down is all the text within an image especially if it's not like if you say
71. 16:06make a billboard right it'll generally make a billboard with decent text in it there's three models that are good at
72. 16:11text um ideogram Dolly 3 and flux the new the new flux is really good at text but like if there's other text like on
73. 16:22walls behind people they tend to be just madeup words they're not real words so that's the place where these things need to
74. 16:30get that that's where they have the biggest tell right now that it's AI generated is just gobbley G text [Music]

96. 21:42been out for a while um but it what it appears is that open AI combined qar this it's a reasoning uh algorithm with some other
97. 21:57algorithm and they they sort of married them together or they just figured out how to use qar really well but it's a
98. 22:03reasoning algorithm it's it it it it's based on some Game Theory [ __ ] and so that's what this that's what this project is and from what I
99. 22:15understand it sits on top of um chat GP or on top of the GPT model so your GPT model does its it's um you know token
100. 22:26prediction [ __ ] it generates the stuff and then the reasoning model sits on top of that I don't quite know how
101. 22:31those two work together but that's apparently what it is this account this I rule the world account has been around for a while it
102. 22:42was a year ago that it that it was created and in the past two months or so this account has has shown up a lot
103. 22:53in my timeline and has gotten um increasingly positive and optimistic about AI to the point that it made it as annoying to me
104. 23:05as Gary Marcus who's negative about AI although Gary Marcus is just [ __ ] unsu insufferable um hang
105. 23:22on but I was trying to figure out like who is this like who's who's behind this and you know occasionally people from
106. 23:29open AI would comment on it and then this past week this thing sort of went into overdrive and started posting a lot and
107. 23:40earlier let's see which one was it um see there's a bunch of bunch of them
108. 23:54from today anyway so this is all these cryptic sort
109. 24:09of things like no matter how optimistic you are you're not ready for level two it shattered my reality enjoy it's
110. 24:15beautiful they're referring to level two meaning open AI has declared or defined five levels of AGI um the first level is um
111. 24:29chat which is what we have now the second level is reasoning which that's what qar is the third level is autonomous
112. 24:39agents it appears or or the the the rumor is that this account is actually an autonomous agent running on top of this thing okay

123. 26:31there was like something's going to happen tonight and nothing really happened last night we we looked at this
124. 26:36a little bit nothing really happened I didn't think it would and then today this account got really active like
125. 26:43every time I logged into Twitter there was a new post from this account and it was from a few minutes ago so okay so
126. 26:49this is sort of the 4our batch tell everyone level to um someone said something that they said weak for AGI
127. 27:01um so let me get some of the as we got closer to it what were some of the tweets Who Dares me to open I'm doing it
128. 27:14anyway but fun tweet right so they're you know the big thing of strawberri so the big thing of level two AGI seeds will be
129. 27:23planted something happening you know um clever little gifts if this thing's an autonomous agent and it's
130. 27:34using do to generate images and it's going and finding gifts and it got itself a blue check mark and it's upload
131. 27:43it's uploaded it's created a GitHub repository and it's uploading code to the GitHub repository this could be really
132. 27:52interesting if that's what it is it may not be that but the more I'm looking at the more it feels like this is something like
133. 28:01that um cuz while these tweets kind of make sense and feel kind of Crypt broy they're also kind of odd some of them
134. 28:10are really odd so three hours ago we got the countdown timer right so that was I think that was an hour out yeah that was an hour out or
135. 28:20something like that there's a DOI image of a big strawberry there's there's a DOI image of a strawberry smashing into the ground
136. 28:29was is that a SORA video did did this agent create a SORA video or maybe this guy did it Mr assisted
137. 28:39um so then two hours ago it tweeted this like I'm nervous I'm nervous that this thing's coming and then it says I've
138. 28:48planted the seeds of AGI so when you went to GitHub earlier it just had the read me that had I love summer in the
139. 28:55garden and then when he said I've planted the seeds of a I you click on this strawberry python code and here's python
140. 29:04code and so I don't know python you've heard my story many times if you've been here that one of my big breakthroughs
141. 29:13with chat GPT was I wrote a python application in 90 minutes that made API calls and generated social media content
142. 29:21it was super cool um using o using chat GPT so when I run into code that I don't know what it is here's what I do I mean
143. 29:31I could I could parse it but again my my new mantra is don't use your brain we have chat GPT for that so I copied that
144. 29:40came into chat GPT and I said what does this code do and if P's if Pate is in here this code is so trivially simple
145. 29:51that I don't I didn't really need to do this like you can figure this out but if you don't know anything about about
146. 29:58coding it's not going to be obvious right so it basically it's a simple text based animation uh that that represents the
147. 30:07growing of a plant or a sprout a strawberry it defines some colors there's a garden function for it growing there's a delicious
148. 30:21function so basically the delicious function handles the looping of the animation all right so there's this delicious
149. 30:30animation so I went to repet so repet is a website where you can paste python code and run it so there's your python code nicely parsed and
150. 30:43colorcoded and then here's the application this is it this is [ __ ] it this is what it does now now what is
151. 30:59that thing falling into the ground being planted into the ground it's qar so qar is this reasoning engine so
152. 31:08the qar thing that was what came out as a rumor when Sam mman was fired and that was the thing where it
153. 31:17was like what did ilas see right the the rumor was they achieved AGI they achieved it with qar and now here we are there's the seed

171. 34:11comment then this says Logan Kilpatrick says Google developer day and this thing responds huge so that's as much as I
172. 34:26know I feel like I'm back in nft land waiting for an airdrop man you know what be cool as an air drop man yeah far out man there's an air

176. 35:19he was making and and I said what what nft should I buy and he gave me a he gave me an nft or it was a
177. 35:26cryptocurrency it was a insurance-based cryptocurrency and so you know I did my ad ADHD hyper tunnel hyperfocus
178. 35:41tunnel and I figured out how to buy it right and and you had to like open a wallet here open an account here Bridge
179. 35:49your thing to the thing then go on Unis Swap and get the thing for the thing and then you get the thing and it was like I
180. 35:56I put 15 50 bucks into it right so so and then like a good ADHD I completely forgot about it right I just I did it I put 150 bucks in it I
181. 36:11didn't really care and then at some point I was on Twitter and and that that crypto ticker came up and I said oh let me go check my
182. 36:20balance and I had parlay I mean this is a kind of [ __ ] genius I am I don't a lot of times in here I'm a little self
183. 36:27deprecating but I'm a [ __ ] genius so I had parlayed $150 into $75 over six months brilliant move it
184. 36:39was brilliant [ __ ] staggering like if you need investment advice come to me so I was loaded and actually what I wanted to do
185. 36:50was I wanted to sell whatever I had cuz there was some other crypto thing that I learned about I'm like oh this one's
186. 36:57going to be big so I was going to take my $75 cash that out and go get another thing so I go and I cash it out and I
187. 37:06figure how to do it and I get the other thing and then I go back to my wallet and it said or when it finished the
188. 37:13transaction on was it on Unis swap yeah I think it was on Unis swap when I finished the transaction it said click
189. 37:19here to collect your uni and I was like okay I don't I don't know what that is well six months before Unis swap if you had done any
190. 37:30transaction on it in in early times they had done an airdrop and I didn't know that happened cuz I'd forgotten about it
191. 37:39right and so I said okay and I said collect my uni and then it refreshed the screen and my balance went from like $78.39 to
192. 37:55$112,000 and I was like wait H have I been hacked but I thought it was like hacked in Reverse I had no idea what it was so it
193. 38:05took me like three days to figure it out and and cuz I was like this can't be legitimate and this can't be real and
194. 38:12but it was it was legitimate and it was real and I they they aird dropped some amount of uni and because I had
195. 38:17forgotten about it every most people cashed out all their Unis swap your their uni tokens and I didn't and so
196. 38:25they they sort of crashed in like reemerged and so they were pretty high so I just ended up with you know with a
197. 38:33lot of money which I then invested into nfts and cryptocurrency and it's all gone well it's not all gone through that
198. 38:45I got into this project called neotokyo so I still have a neotokyo citizen and he that that thing's worth a little bit
199. 38:51of money right now um there was a while that it was worth a lot of [ __ ] money but I didn't sell cuz I'm

213. 41:36it's basically you know it can sort of track the provenance of a digital asset I'm like oh okay that makes sense to me
214. 41:43so it can track balances like in crypto it can track ownership as in nfts nfts can be used as access tokens
215. 41:51so when I got my head around it I'm like oh this is this is really [ __ ] amazing like this could be quite powerful
216. 41:58I got really excited about it I was telling everyone about it and I was demystifying it I was doing a lot of stuff I'm doing
217. 42:04here and I got in this neotokyo project and that was super exciting and then just everything started falling apart
218. 42:12and and and neot toio started falling apart like all the promises they made were horeshit um it was well done enough that
219. 42:19it it's actually held together uh where most of the communities have just exploded um but um the uh the more I learned about these nft
220. 42:34project and these crypto projects is that like the deeper you would dig on them the less real they were there was
221. 42:42nothing there and if you asked one of the crypto Bros well what's the actual purpose of the token and they would be
222. 42:49like oh you to you own the token I'm like yeah right and then well what do you spend it on well you you trade it for other tokens
223. 42:58like there was never an answer for what is the [ __ ] purpose of the thing nfts were pretty clear those are digital
224. 43:06trading cards right so this trading card is worth a million dollars there's million dollar trading cards in the
225. 43:12world and there's digital trading cards that are worth a million dollars or were so that I understood but every one of the projects
226. 43:24just the the deeper you dug into it kind of vaporized and just wasn't real and so I got I got really dejected by
227. 43:33blockchain and nfts I still believe in the technology but I think the ecosystem deserves to be you know obliterated

237. 45:38there this is real um which is why I find it a little shocking that so many people are like oh ai's blown over it's done
238. 45:48it's just like that nft thing I think there's this false sense of I don't have to deal with this um that I don't think is going to be a
239. 45:58false sense of that for for that much longer if open AI ever [ __ ] launches something so anyway wild

283. 53:17want the answer you want is chat GPT is this magical thing that's going to make you rich chpt is just a tool
284. 53:28asking how you make money with chat chpt is identical to how you how you make money with a shovel well you find someone that needs
285. 53:37holes dug and if you're good at shoveling better than the next guy down the street you'll make 20 bucks an hour shoveling holes with your
286. 53:48shovel but you're not making money with the shovel you're making money by selling the holes by solving a problem the shovel is
287. 53:58just there to facilitate it so how you make money with chat gbt is you figure out what in your life experience you're good
288. 54:08at and you understand and you say well who's got a problem to solve and then if you know chat GPT well enough to solve it better faster or
289. 54:20cheaper than the other guy and it's something that people actually want and will pay money for that's how you make money with chat
290. 54:28GPT so it could be you make the coolest art and you print it out and now you're going to go sell it or you put it on
291. 54:34t-shirts and you're going to sell t-shirts or you write press releases for people and you do it more efficiently
292. 54:40you're not making money with chat GPT you're making money solving problems this does change by the way when we move into autonomous
293. 54:53agents because right now all the tools ire human interaction to prompt them and to guide them because they're janky pieces of
294. 55:04[ __ ] the the state of a ai ai right now is 10,000 different tools that suck in some dramatic way that makes them effectively unusable
295. 55:19without massive amounts of human intervention the minute we move from level one AGI which is what we have
296. 55:27right now to level two AGI which is reasoning and the a a and the AI can actually reason that what it created was
297. 55:39bad and it can fix it [ __ ] starts to change really fast and then level three is when that smarter AI can actually
298. 55:49take actions on our behalf autonomous agents so I think about to get these two things kind of dropped in our laps in in
299. 56:00the next two months maybe the next month that all of a sudden AI is going to go from this this group of disperate
300. 56:08tools that require lots of participation from us to something better I don't think it's going to be great out of the
301. 56:14gate but I think it's going to be pretty dramatic um if indeed they've achieved it it seems like they have or they
302. 56:23wouldn't be you know hyping it up quite this much but you know they they they haven't launched anything significant I mean gp4 Omni was
303. 56:36significant but they've only like half launched it like it doesn't have its new image uh generating capability it
304. 56:44doesn't have real-time voice yet that's apparently coming in the fall so maybe all this shit's coming
305. 56:50together where they're going to give us this new more powerful reasoning engine and all these other tools but I
306. 56:57doubt it I've now tested three AIS with helping me optimize my code and they all did pretty bad yeah exactly all the
307. 57:05tools right now are some version of like it's close it gets you to 80% but the [ __ ] last 20% is what what kills you
308. 57:13every time and the last 5% is the worst one day shovels will dig their own holes well that's where we're headed for sure

320. 59:112% of people use chat GPT for more than an hour a week so that means that I would I would sort of Hazard a guess to say of those
321. 59:26less than 2% people at a maximum 25% of them so half a percentage of people use chat gbt to any level of
322. 59:38depth like more than just you know give me a poem about you know [Laughter] sanctity and so so a lot of the narrative out
323. 59:53there is oh it hallucinates oh it's bad oh it can't do math right and you know the the you know you talk about wolf
324. 59:58from alpha that was that was a solve for it when it couldn't do math but built into chat GPT now is this thing called Advanced Data

340. 1:02:42code it imported the Panda's library to be able to look at a CSV file it then looked at it it looked it created a
341. 1:02:49little data table to to understand what's in there and then it told us what's in there and I could say
342. 1:02:59um please analyze this data and come up with the three most interesting Trends in the data that you feel would be interesting if visualized
343. 1:03:17period Then visualize them in a visually stunning graph period and so now it says analyzing so again I can click on this and see what

502. 1:36:55do their skills to who they are and how much we trust them and how you're going to get hired in the future is to be a trusted
503. 1:37:06contributing member of a community where people understand not what you do but how you do it we're entering what I'm thinking of
504. 1:37:17is a reckoning for [ __ ] if you're super talented at a skill and you're a dick right now you still get hired because
505. 1:37:27you're the only one that can do that skill so you can just be a big douchebag burn all your Bridges just be a jerk
506. 1:37:34they're still going to hire you because you can do that well what happens when AI makes it possible for everyone to do that
507. 1:37:41skill you're going to not get hired anymore you know who's going to get hired the people that are part of a

509. 1:37:53she's got all these aptitudes that I really like and now I know that she's AI literate because she's part of this AI
510. 1:38:00community so being a part of a community like AI Salon is actually the future of employment from how I see this rolling
