1:29 oh
1:32 [Music]
1:52 that's it you done you giving up you
1:54 giving up on the singing yeah
1:59 yeah it's it's not simple to
2:02 [Music]
2:04 say but most
2:07 days I don't recognize me that these
2:11 shoes and this apron that place and its
2:16 patrons they taken more than
2:20 I it's not easy to
2:23 know I'm not anything like I used to be
2:29 oh it's true
2:31 it's true I was never attention sweet
2:35 Center I still remember that
2:39 girl she's
2:41 imperfect but she
2:43 tries she is good she
2:47 lies she is hard on
2:52 herself she's broken and won't ask for
2:56 help she is messy but she's C
3:00 [Music]
3:02 she's
3:03 lonely most of the time she is all of
3:07 this mixed up and baked in a beautiful
3:11 pie she is gone but she used to be
3:19 my and it's not what I
3:22 ask sometimes life just slips in through
3:26 the back door and carves out a person
3:30 makes you believe it's all
3:33 true now I've got
3:36 you you're not what I ask for if I'm
3:40 honest I know I would give it all up for
3:43 a chance to start over rewrite an ending
3:46 or
3:47 two for that girl that I know would be
3:52 Reckless just the
3:58 same good evening good people
4:00 [Music]
4:21 10,000 words swarm around my head 10
4:25 million more in books written beneath my
4:29 bed
4:31 [Music]
4:34 I wrote or read them all when searching
4:38 in the Swarms still can't find how to
4:41 hold my
4:45 hands and I know you need me in the next
4:49 room
4:50 over stuck in here on
4:54 [Music]
4:58 paralyzed four months I got myself in
5:01 ruts too much time spending mirrors
5:04 framed in yellow
5:07 [Music]
5:10 walls a it like most people no different
5:14 like to talk on things we don't know
5:21 about like most people I'm no different
5:25 like to dug on things we don't know
5:28 about
5:36 good day good people happy Friday it's
5:38 Friday night date night we got a lovely
5:41 grape candle surrounded by people here
5:45 symbolizing
5:49 strawberry I was going to make a
5:50 strawberry image but I was like I'll
5:52 just go find something that's close I
5:54 got grapes
5:56 [Music]
6:25 so one of the things that I want to talk
6:28 about tonight is I just I realized that
6:31 um open ai's
6:34 marketing has officially jumped the
6:36 shark for
6:37 [Laughter]
6:41 me if you don't know what jump the shark
6:44 is you're not
6:51 old they are now
6:53 marketing the next world changing AGI
6:56 essentially how you Market nfts
7:01 they're using if if this is indeed this
7:04 new powerful agentic reasoning
7:08 thing um it's doing engagement farming
7:12 and then the thing they [ __ ] launched
7:15 at
7:16 8:00 I'll I'll show you
7:19 it it's [ __ ]
7:21 silly it very much reminds me of nft
7:24 bros wondering if they got an nft bro in
7:27 their marketing department spending some
7:29 of their bons millions of dollars on nft
7:33 Bros it's
7:36 exhausting hang on got to turn on the
7:37 air it's hot
7:40 [Music]
8:03 all
8:03 right yeah
8:06 there I I mean here's all I have to say
8:10 for what they're doing it had better be
8:13 [ __ ]
8:14 [Laughter]
8:17 profound cuz it takes in my opinion for
8:21 something people have been waiting on
8:22 for so long and the fact that they have
8:26 you know abandoned the the G G PT store
8:30 they abandon the
8:32 gpts
8:34 effectively and they keep announcing
8:37 products and not launching them I feel
8:44 like this thing better [ __ ] make up
8:47 for
8:50 [Music]
8:56 it if you're new here my name is Kyle
8:58 Shannon this is the AI learning is
9:00 evidenced
9:01 by the grape
9:05 candle surrounded by
9:08 [Music]
9:20 people oh man and we will talk
9:24 about
9:26 things what's it called what's what
9:28 called the new thing
9:30 project
9:32 [Laughter]
9:39 strawberry which is an inside joke it's
9:41 a troll against Elon Musk so I'll talk
9:43 about that I'll talk about what it is or
9:45 like I'll talk about what I know which
9:47 is not very much but I did a little bit
9:49 of sleuthing and I'll I'll show you how
9:53 I've been paying attention to it today
9:56 [Music]
10:01 they said they were going to launch
10:02 something at 8:00 p.m.
10:04 Eastern and they did
10:09 [Music]
10:32 [Applause]
10:33 [Music]
10:34 [Applause]
10:36 yes I will explain strawberry I'm here
10:38 for my date Source Camp's ready let's go
10:41 let's get this date on the road Friday
10:43 night date
10:44 night make
10:46 money see if we can make some money
10:48 tonight we're going to sell gpts for a
10:51 nickel a piece we're going to we're
10:53 going to be rich
11:09 trying to prevent the
11:12 moistness it's Friday we had to let half
11:14 the makeup crew go
11:18 home I start out as a 27-year-old woman
11:21 trim thin
11:25 dainty and after 4 hours of makeup
11:29 this is what you
11:32 get my other channel is a twerking
11:34 Channel this voice AI
11:38 [Music]
11:41 synthesized but the muscles are all
11:46 mine I'm like a Lona Mar big
11:51 shoulders but dainty
11:53 [Laughter]
11:56 [Music]
12:01 oh I got to meet Anne Murphy today for
12:04 in real life she was in town speaking on
12:07 AI to uh one of the colleges here in
12:10 town and we had we had lunch it was
12:12 amazing to meet her so Ann was the one
12:15 that if you've been hanging around you
12:17 probably know her but she was the one
12:19 that we did uh the GPT for good event
12:21 when we back in the week between
12:24 Christmas and New Year an and I decided
12:26 hey let's let's let's do like a 20 4
12:29 Hour GPT Aon and we did and this
12:32 community built 150 gpts for nonprofits
12:36 in 24 hours was super cool super super
12:39 cool and Murphy is boss she
12:44 is olama first or
12:46 Pinocchio I don't know I've I've
12:49 installed Pinocchio I haven't I haven't
12:51 played with
12:52 AMA I mean I think Pinocchio is more
12:55 wellknown but that doesn't matter like
12:56 zappier is more wellknown than make and
12:59 make is like the newer more modern
13:01 version of zappier so similar [ __ ] goes
13:05 on with the with the these runtime
13:07 environments so I don't know again I am
13:11 not the guy to ask about the open source
13:13 World although this new this new flux
13:17 model people are still losing their [ __ ]
13:19 over it it's been out for more than a
13:20 week and people are still losing their
13:22 [ __ ] over it so I it's it's the real
13:25 deal like it's it's still not quite mid
13:28 Journey but a lot of people
13:30 are comparing it to Mid Journey it's
13:32 open source and you know you which means
13:34 you can have it on your computer for
13:38 free um it's going to be
13:41 slow you got to have an M1 Mac and
13:43 probably some decent GPU on a
13:47 PC but that model looks pretty [ __ ]
13:51 good flux what did I
13:55 say did I say flux or did I say
13:58 something else I meant flux
14:01 [Music]
14:13 expand on flux okay I will so flux is
14:16 basically just
14:18 like midj
14:21 Journey except it's flux itself is the
14:25 model so mid Journey has this whole web
14:28 front end and they've got this whole
14:29 Discord front end and their model is the
14:31 mid Journey model right they're up to
14:33 6.1 and mid Journey flux. one is this
14:38 new
14:39 open-source freely available to
14:42 everyone
14:44 model that generates images and it
14:47 generates them as good as uh as mid
14:53 journey and what what people are
14:56 starting to do with it now is they're
14:58 creating what are called luras which are
15:01 essentially fine-tune trainings on top
15:04 of it so like that's simple it's close
15:08 enough modification you so you have the
15:11 core model and like there's one I just
15:13 saw a whole bunch of posts on that's a
15:15 realism model so they took a bunch of
15:17 hyper realistic you know really nice
15:19 photos and they made a realism model so
15:22 if you want things to look like real
15:24 human beings it's really good at it so a
15:28 lot of a lot of the xers are saying you
15:31 know you know we're not we're no longer
15:34 going to be able to tell the difference
15:35 between AI generated or not and I I
15:38 would like this this feels on track my
15:42 my prediction was that by the end of the
15:44 year video would be good enough that you
15:47 really couldn't tell it was AI
15:49 generated um video I feel like probably
15:52 may go for another year before it's
15:55 really really good but images images are
15:58 pretty [ __ ] close right now now the
16:00 only the place where images Are Falling
16:02 Down is all the text within an image
16:04 especially if it's not like if you say
16:06 make a billboard right it'll generally
16:08 make a billboard with decent text in it
16:10 there's three models that are good at
16:11 text um ideogram Dolly 3 and flux the
16:17 new the new flux is really good at text
16:20 but like if there's other text like on
16:22 walls behind people they tend to be just
16:24 madeup words they're not real words so
16:27 that's the place where these things need
16:29 to
16:30 get that that's where they have the
16:33 biggest tell right now that it's AI
16:35 generated is just gobbley G text
16:38 [Music]
16:55 [Music]
17:01 there's been something baby I've been
17:04 trying to
17:08 say for an age and it seems I don't know
17:13 [Music]
17:14 how past and the future now surrounding
17:20 me surrender to whatever cheap thr can
17:22 be
17:24 found there's been a little
17:27 trouble since you came to my
17:32 [Music]
17:34 rescue and if you like all of the rest I
17:37 would have quit you long ago but I
17:39 couldn't do
17:43 that oh tell me now women why High never
17:48 went too
17:50 well make a man crazy make him cold as
17:55 hell I know woman that you wish me well
18:00 but in spite of your trying still going
18:03 to have to find my way
18:06 [Music]
18:12 through oh people good people of the Tik
18:19 Tock so here's the deal if you have any
18:21 questions about AI pop them in the
18:23 comments below I will be happy to answer
18:25 them it is very possible I won't see
18:27 them
18:29 uh no champy champy already sang
18:32 champy uh this is a union house now so
18:36 we get uh
18:39 two um up to 40% completion of the song
18:43 from champy and then he retires to the
18:45 bed waiting for cheese it's in his new
18:48 contract
18:51 so I could probably get him with an A
18:53 Minor hey champy
18:55 [Music]
19:07 Champion
19:10 Union we're not going to be Union
19:12 Busters in this house we're not going to
19:14 do
19:17 it unicorn
19:20 house can't argue with contracts exactly
19:24 exactly signed the contract that's his
19:27 new deal he gets two chick chicken
19:29 sticks three pieces of cheese and a pill
19:31 you
19:32 know and we occasionally fill his water
19:35 up we Tred putting him on an all grape
19:38 diet the other night that didn't go so
19:43 well Public Service announ Announcement
19:46 dogs can't eat grapes it'll kill them
19:49 they go into kidney failure who knew
19:53 well veterinarians knew chat GPT
19:57 knew it's a your dog to the
20:00 [Music]
20:03 vet 3 m storage AI date night strolling
20:06 around the lake with the sun setting
20:08 Kyle and my ears not weird at all it's
20:11 it's not weird Jim it's
20:16 irregular all right let's go look at
20:18 Strawberry Fields
20:21 Forever let me take you down cuz we're
20:26 going
20:27 to St
20:29 every
20:33 Fields nothing is
20:37 real
20:40 okay Where Do We Begin Where Do We
20:45 Begin so if you want to play
20:49 along go follow this
20:54 account which is I rule the world Mo m o
20:59 Mark Oscar I rule the world m
21:05 o
21:07 um this is waen Phoenix from the movie
21:10 her this is a photo that Sam Alman
21:13 posted Tuesday talking about summer in
21:16 the garden and it's a it's a a uh raised
21:21 bed garden with strawberries in it and
21:24 then there's three strawberries here so
21:26 what is Project strawberry project
21:29 strawberry is the
21:34 qar code
21:36 name what is
21:39 qar qar is it's actually a paper that's
21:43 been out for a
21:44 while um but it what it appears is that
21:49 open AI combined qar this it's a
21:54 reasoning uh algorithm with some other
21:58 algorithm and they they sort of married
22:00 them together or they just figured out
22:01 how to use qar really well but it's a
22:04 reasoning algorithm it's it it it it's
22:07 based on some Game Theory
22:10 [ __ ] and so that's what this that's what
22:13 this project is and from what I
22:15 understand it sits on top of um chat GP
22:19 or on top of the GPT model so your GPT
22:22 model does its it's um you know token
22:26 prediction [ __ ] it generates the
22:28 stuff and then the reasoning model sits
22:30 on top of that I don't quite know how
22:32 those two work together but that's
22:33 apparently what it is this account this
22:37 I rule the world
22:40 account has been around for a while it
22:42 was a year ago that it that it was
22:45 created and in the past two months or
22:50 so this account has has shown up a lot
22:53 in my timeline and has gotten um
22:57 increasingly
23:00 positive and optimistic about AI to the
23:03 point that it made it as annoying to me
23:06 as Gary Marcus who's negative about AI
23:09 although Gary Marcus is just [ __ ]
23:11 unsu
23:13 insufferable um hang
23:23 on but I was trying to figure out like
23:25 who is this like who's who's behind this
23:27 and you know occasionally people from
23:29 open AI would comment on
23:31 it and then this past week this thing
23:34 sort of went into overdrive and started
23:36 posting a lot and
23:40 earlier let's see which one was it
23:52 um see there's a bunch of bunch of them
23:55 from today
24:07 anyway so this is all these cryptic sort
24:09 of things like no matter how optimistic
24:11 you are you're not ready for level two
24:13 it shattered my reality enjoy it's
24:15 beautiful they're referring to level two
24:19 meaning open AI has declared or defined
24:23 five levels of
24:24 AGI um the first level is um
24:29 chat which is what we have now the
24:32 second level is reasoning which that's
24:34 what qar is the third level is
24:37 autonomous
24:39 agents it appears or or the the the
24:43 rumor is that this account is actually
24:46 an autonomous agent running on top of
24:48 this
24:50 thing okay
24:53 um so 4 hours ago this thing typed can't
24:58 believe this is it I love you all you
25:00 asked for open weights question
25:03 mark no more closed AI sorry bye-bye
25:07 patient patients cave this is level two
25:11 so this was 4 hours
25:13 ago um seeds will be planted at 12:00
25:16 a.m. UTC so that's 8:00 p.m. New York
25:19 City time 600 p.m. mountain time seeds
25:22 will be planted and then they give you a
25:24 GitHub repository and when you went to
25:27 the GitHub repository earlier here it
25:29 just said
25:31 um the [ __ ] did it
25:33 say it
25:38 said I love summer in the garden so
25:40 that's so this this phrase is what Sam
25:45 Alman tweeted on Tuesday I left sumwhere
25:48 in the garden so let's go find that
25:49 tweet so yeah so so what I'm going to do
25:51 now is I'm going to sort of walk you
25:54 down the Meandering path of nft bro
25:57 marketing because this is totally nft
26:00 bro marketing they they would mostly do
26:03 it on Discord but they would do all
26:04 sorts of shitty engagement farming where
26:06 you had to like a thing and forward a
26:09 thing and go follow someone and unfollow
26:11 someone
26:13 and and this has got all that s sort of
26:16 gamification in it
26:19 um all right good night
26:23 Tom so so yeah so I'll walk you through
26:26 this just kind of like how how I've been
26:27 paying attention to it so so yesterday
26:31 there was like something's going to
26:33 happen tonight and nothing really
26:34 happened last night we we looked at this
26:36 a little bit nothing really happened I
26:38 didn't think it would and then today
26:41 this account got really active like
26:43 every time I logged into Twitter there
26:45 was a new post from this account and it
26:46 was from a few minutes ago so okay so
26:49 this is sort of the 4our batch tell
26:51 everyone level
26:53 to
26:56 um someone said something that they said
26:59 weak for AGI
27:01 um so let me get some of the as we got
27:05 closer to it what were some of the
27:11 tweets Who Dares me to open I'm doing it
27:14 anyway but fun tweet right so they're
27:16 you know the big thing of strawberri so
27:18 the big thing of level two
27:21 AGI seeds will be
27:24 planted something happening
27:29 you know um clever little gifts if this
27:32 thing's an autonomous agent and it's
27:35 using do to generate images and it's
27:37 going and finding gifts and it got
27:40 itself a blue check mark and it's upload
27:43 it's uploaded it's created a GitHub
27:45 repository and it's uploading code to
27:48 the GitHub
27:50 repository this could be really
27:52 interesting if that's what it is it may
27:55 not be that but the more I'm looking at
27:58 the more it feels like this is something
28:01 like
28:02 that um cuz while these tweets kind of
28:06 make sense and feel kind of Crypt broy
28:09 they're also kind of odd some of them
28:10 are really odd so three hours ago we got
28:14 the countdown timer
28:16 right so that was I think that was an
28:18 hour out yeah that was an hour out or
28:20 something like
28:22 that there's a DOI image of a big
28:25 strawberry there's there's a DOI image
28:27 of a strawberry smashing into the ground
28:30 was is that a SORA video did did this
28:33 agent create a SORA video or maybe this
28:36 guy did it Mr
28:38 assisted
28:40 um so then two hours ago it tweeted this
28:44 like I'm nervous I'm nervous that this
28:46 thing's coming and then it says I've
28:48 planted the seeds of AGI so when you
28:52 went to GitHub earlier it just had the
28:54 read me that had I love summer in the
28:56 garden and then when he said I've
28:57 planted the seeds of a
28:59 I you click on this strawberry python
29:02 code and here's python
29:05 code and so I don't know python you've
29:09 heard my story many times if you've been
29:11 here that one of my big breakthroughs
29:14 with chat GPT was I wrote a python
29:17 application in 90 minutes that made API
29:19 calls and generated social media content
29:22 it was super cool um using o using chat
29:25 GPT so when I run into code that I don't
29:28 know what it is here's what I do I mean
29:32 I could I could parse it but again my my
29:34 new mantra is don't use your brain we
29:37 have chat GPT for that so I copied that
29:40 came into chat GPT and I said what does
29:45 this code do and if P's if Pate is in
29:49 here this code is so trivially simple
29:52 that I don't I didn't really need to do
29:54 this like you can figure this out but if
29:57 you don't know anything about about
29:58 coding it's not going to be obvious
30:00 right so it
30:02 basically it's a simple text based
30:05 animation uh that that represents the
30:08 growing of a plant or a sprout a
30:10 strawberry it defines some colors
30:12 there's a garden function for it
30:16 growing there's a delicious
30:22 function so basically the delicious
30:25 function handles the looping of the
30:27 animation
30:29 all right so there's this delicious
30:30 animation so I went to repet so repet is
30:34 a website where you can paste python
30:37 code and run it so there's your python
30:40 code nicely parsed and
30:44 colorcoded and then here's the
30:47 application this is it this is [ __ ]
30:55 it this is what it does now now what is
30:59 that thing falling into the ground being
31:02 planted into the ground it's
31:04 qar so qar is this reasoning engine so
31:08 the qar thing that was what came out as
31:12 a rumor when Sam mman was
31:15 fired and that was the thing where it
31:17 was like what did ilas see right the the
31:20 rumor was they achieved AGI they
31:22 achieved it with
31:24 qar and now here we are there's the seed
31:28 of AGI are qar
31:32 apparently so this little cryptic thing
31:34 is what they [ __ ] launched at 6:00
31:38 p.m. mountain time
31:40 tonight and it's cute and it's clever
31:43 But like after six months of not
31:45 shipping
31:48 products it's like a little too nft broy
31:51 for my taste like just [ __ ] launch
31:52 some [ __ ] but you know whatever it's
31:55 generating Buzz it's generating hype um
31:59 um let me see what else did he
32:05 say he was at some point or it was
32:09 asking for uh Ubi Universal basic income
32:12 it was basically saying uh we need Ubi
32:15 now we need it we need it now um let's
32:19 see what this one is if you're following
32:21 closely you'll see that I'm engaging
32:22 with several several of the this was
32:24 pinned for a while if you follow closely
32:27 you'll see that I'm engaging with
32:28 several of the world's most powerful
32:30 CEOs in government if I've got anyone's
32:33 attention I have an important message
32:35 the dawn of agentic embodied AGI level
32:39 two systems is here and it's crucial we
32:43 are
32:44 proactive in redesigning our society now
32:48 or the results will be catastrophic I've
32:50 built a small yet meaningful following
32:53 to deliver this message I hope you
32:55 engage think deeply and spread the
32:57 gospel AGI demands Ubi Universal basic
33:01 income AGI stands for artificial general
33:04 intelligence this basically means when
33:07 the AI gets as good as most humans at
33:12 their
33:13 jobs not like can help their jobs can do
33:17 their
33:20 jobs AGI demands
33:23 Ubi so that was one of the posts that
33:26 one's interesting so and but again this
33:28 account has been kind of this hyperbolic
33:31 hype machine for for two months like you
33:35 know it's consistently posting to
33:37 Twitter it's it's kind of trolling some
33:39 people it's it's get trying to get you
33:42 excited
33:44 sometimes um and then he responds wow
33:47 thanks I'll seriously think we're going
33:49 to need a huge rethink with the amount
33:51 of automation that's coming if we're not
33:54 proactive automation will eat us up
33:56 unless I'm way off on the advancements
34:00 so weird wild they got Googled to dance
34:03 no one
34:05 else um if you're following close that
34:07 one we read oh that's the pinned
34:11 comment then this says Logan Kilpatrick
34:14 says Google developer day and this thing
34:17 responds
34:20 huge so that's as much as I
34:26 know I feel like I'm back in nft land
34:30 waiting for an airdrop man you know what
34:32 be cool as an air drop man yeah far out
34:34 man there's an air
34:40 drop speaking of airdrops I got some
34:43 email
34:45 scammer that I've got some 600 units of
34:50 something airdrop in one of my wallets
34:53 so I could be rich actually that was my
34:56 first um I'll tell you a funny
35:01 story
35:03 um when I first got into
35:08 nfts
35:10 um I didn't know anything about him but
35:13 I I saw a guy that I knew kept posting
35:16 on Twitter about nfts and all the money
35:19 he was making and and I said
35:22 what what nft should I buy and he gave
35:25 me a he gave me an nft or it was a
35:27 cryptocurrency it was a insurance-based
35:31 cryptocurrency
35:33 and so you know I did my ad ADHD hyper
35:39 tunnel hyperfocus
35:41 tunnel and I figured out how to buy it
35:45 right and and you had to like open a
35:47 wallet here open an account here Bridge
35:50 your thing to the thing then go on Unis
35:52 Swap and get the thing for the thing and
35:54 then you get the thing and it was like I
35:56 I put 15 50 bucks into it right
36:01 so
36:03 so and then like a good
36:05 ADHD I completely forgot about it right
36:08 I just I did it I put 150 bucks in it I
36:11 didn't really care and then at some
36:13 point I was on Twitter and and that that
36:16 crypto ticker came up and I said oh let
36:18 me go check my
36:20 balance and I had parlay I mean this is
36:23 a kind of [ __ ] genius I am I don't a
36:26 lot of times in here I'm a little self
36:28 deprecating but I'm a [ __ ] genius so
36:31 I had parlayed
36:34 $150 into
36:36 $75 over six months brilliant move it
36:39 was brilliant [ __ ] staggering like if
36:42 you need investment advice come to
36:46 me so I was
36:49 loaded and actually what I wanted to do
36:51 was I wanted to sell whatever I had cuz
36:54 there was some other crypto thing that I
36:56 learned about I'm like oh this one's
36:57 going to be big so I was going to take
36:59 my
37:00 $75 cash that out and go get another
37:03 thing so I go and I cash it out and I
37:06 figure how to do it and I get the other
37:08 thing and then I go back to my wallet
37:11 and it said or when it finished the
37:13 transaction on was it on Unis swap yeah
37:16 I think it was on Unis swap when I
37:17 finished the transaction it said click
37:20 here to collect your uni and I was like
37:23 okay I don't I don't know what that
37:25 is well six months before
37:29 Unis swap if you had done any
37:31 transaction on it in in early times they
37:35 had done an airdrop and I didn't know
37:37 that happened cuz I'd forgotten about it
37:40 right and so I said okay and I said
37:42 collect my uni and then it refreshed the
37:47 screen and my balance went from like
37:50 $78.39 to
37:56 $112,000 and I was like
37:59 wait H have I been hacked but I thought
38:02 it was like hacked in
38:03 Reverse I had no idea what it was so it
38:05 took me like three days to figure it out
38:08 and and cuz I was like this can't be
38:10 legitimate and this can't be real and
38:12 but it was it was legitimate and it was
38:14 real and I they they aird dropped some
38:16 amount of uni and because I had
38:18 forgotten about it every most people
38:20 cashed out all their Unis swap your
38:23 their uni tokens and I didn't and so
38:25 they they sort of crashed in like
38:28 reemerged and so they were pretty high
38:30 so I just ended up with you know with a
38:34 lot of money which I then invested into
38:36 nfts and cryptocurrency and it's all
38:43 gone well it's not all gone through that
38:46 I got into this project called neotokyo
38:48 so I still have a neotokyo citizen and
38:49 he that that thing's worth a little bit
38:51 of money right now um there was a while
38:55 that it was worth a lot of [ __ ] money
38:56 but I didn't sell cuz I'm
39:00 genius an Murphy in the house an Murphy
39:03 it was so great meeting you today so
39:05 amazing Kyle's an investing genius
39:08 genius what are your qualifications
39:11 sir well I've got many qualifications I
39:13 can I can
39:16 parlay $150 of cryptocurrency into $75
39:20 over a six-month period
39:24 guaranteed which considering how crypto
39:27 [ __ ] to bed for the past 68 months just
39:31 losing half is pretty
39:32 [Laughter]
39:36 good but anyway I'm a little [ __ ]
39:39 annoyed with open AI because it's like
39:41 we don't need stupid [ __ ] games
39:48 like what would be nice is now that
39:51 they've done I rule the world Mo if if
39:55 if indeed that's an autonomous agent
39:57 what would be
39:58 nice is if they released an autonomous
40:01 agent that was actually something useful
40:03 or interesting or clear and not just
40:05 some [ __ ] riddle MC
40:19 [Laughter]
40:26 fuckingtelugu what the [ __ ] is
40:29 happening we'll do it with zero
40:31 integrity and lots of inside
40:35 jokes oh my God only the Insiders will
40:38 make money and everyone else is exit
40:40 liquidity it's the nft game let's
40:50 go good name for a bottle
40:56 right is riddle friends with Frank Moshi
40:59 or Mary facts yeah yeah the nft game you
41:04 know what's wild about the nft game wa
41:08 so if you know me for a bit you know
41:10 that when when I go into something I've
41:12 got to I've got to understand it I got a
41:14 grocket right and so when I got into
41:17 nfts and blockchain like I didn't know
41:19 what the [ __ ] blockchain was and I'm
41:21 like they're like it's a ledger like I
41:24 don't know what that means I didn't go
41:25 to [ __ ] accounting school I'm not a
41:27 paa what does that
41:30 mean and so when I got into it and I and
41:33 I you know learned that oh okay it's
41:37 it's basically you know it can sort of
41:39 track the provenance of a digital asset
41:41 I'm like oh okay that makes sense to me
41:43 so it can track balances like in crypto
41:46 it can track ownership as in
41:49 nfts nfts can be used as access tokens
41:52 so when I got my head around it I'm like
41:53 oh this is this is really [ __ ]
41:55 amazing like this could be quite
41:57 powerful
41:58 I got really excited about it I was
42:00 telling everyone about it and I was
42:01 demystifying it I was doing a lot of
42:02 stuff I'm doing
42:04 here and I got in this neotokyo project
42:07 and that was super exciting and then
42:09 just everything started falling apart
42:12 and and and neot toio started falling
42:14 apart like all the promises they made
42:16 were
42:17 horeshit um it was well done enough that
42:20 it it's actually held together uh where
42:22 most of the communities have just
42:24 exploded um but um
42:29 the
42:30 uh the more I learned about these nft
42:34 project and these crypto projects is
42:37 that like the deeper you would dig on
42:39 them the less real they were there was
42:42 nothing there and if you asked one of
42:44 the crypto Bros well what's the actual
42:47 purpose of the token and they would be
42:49 like oh you to you own the token I'm
42:52 like yeah right and then well what do
42:54 you spend it on well you you trade it
42:56 for other tokens
42:58 like there was never an answer for what
43:00 is the [ __ ] purpose of the thing nfts
43:05 were pretty clear those are digital
43:06 trading cards right so this trading card
43:09 is worth a million dollars there's
43:11 million dollar trading cards in the
43:12 world and there's digital trading cards
43:15 that are worth a million dollars or
43:18 were so that I
43:20 understood but every one of the projects
43:24 just the the deeper you dug into it kind
43:27 of vaporized and just wasn't real and so
43:29 I got I got really dejected by
43:33 blockchain and nfts I still believe in
43:35 the technology but I think the ecosystem
43:38 deserves to be you know obliterated
43:42 people put in jail and and those people
43:44 should be they should be spanked they
43:47 should be spanked
43:59 I'm going to give you this is the
44:03 perfect I'm going to show you the
44:05 perfect
44:06 metaphor for the nft community and what
44:10 should be done with them okay this is
44:14 important metaphors are important they
44:16 help us understand things
44:27 if my new joint is called clean C you
44:30 know what I'm saying bust
44:33 it man you capping oh clean clean clean
44:36 clean clean oh you cing drip splash
44:39 water drip splash splash drip water
44:42 splash splash and
44:48 DP do that sit down
44:57 so in case it isn't clear the guy in the
45:00 white is the nft
45:01 [Laughter]
45:09 Bro oh
45:14 yeah oh
45:16 man and then on the other side of that
45:20 conversation when I got into the AI
45:22 stuff I did a similar Deep dive and the
45:25 more I dug into AI
45:28 the more real it got right the more you
45:29 dug into nfts and blockchain the the
45:32 more vapory they got and they were just
45:33 there was a lot of [ __ ] and AI was
45:36 the opposite the more you dug into it
45:37 you're like oh [ __ ] there's a there
45:39 there this is real um which is why I
45:42 find
45:43 it a little shocking that so many people
45:46 are like oh ai's blown over it's done
45:49 it's just like that nft thing I think
45:51 there's this false sense of I don't have
45:53 to deal with this
45:56 um that I don't think is going to be a
45:58 false sense of that for for that much
46:00 longer if open AI ever [ __ ] launches
46:03 something so anyway wild
46:06 huh Kyle your image is in Irregulars oh
46:10 good what did I say riddles
46:18 mcfucking oh okay so where I am let me
46:21 let me show you where I am because we
46:23 got a fair amount of people in here so
46:24 there's probably some new folks um so
46:27 I'm going to the AI Salon community so
46:29 if you go to the
46:31 salon. uh that's our website and then if
46:33 you scroll down a little bit there's two
46:34 buttons one is our bi-weekly meetings we
46:36 have a uh meetings on the first and
46:38 third Tuesdays of the month and then um
46:42 the other button is join the community
46:44 and so the community is is our web-based
46:46 community so a lot of the people that
46:48 play in here we've got a special little
46:49 corner In the AI Salon called the AI
46:52 Irregulars
46:53 channel
46:56 so so so this is where I am so the way
46:59 this works it's kind of like Discord or
47:01 kind of like uh Facebook a little bit
47:04 where you have little little sections so
47:06 like there's a welcome to the salon
47:07 section that tells you what we're about
47:09 and you know the AI Salon journey to AI
47:12 literacy play first mindfully create
47:14 generously lead and our values are in
47:17 there um and then if you scroll all the
47:20 way to the bottom there is clubs
47:24 Community clubs and one of them is the
47:25 AI Irregulars
47:30 so hi I'm douche mcfucking ton here to
47:33 Hype the hype up [ __ ] you you'll never
47:36 get exactly beautiful love it riddle
47:47 mcfucking well that's a good one who did
47:49 that Cindy [ __ ] Cindy [ __ ] killing it
47:51 with the riddle mcfucking ton and
47:53 embrace the Jank not even close on the
47:56 on the letters but we know know enough
47:57 what it
47:59 means there's a strawberry very nice
48:01 Mike knee
48:03 beautiful all right beautiful so if you
48:06 want to contribute go join the AI Salon
48:10 go hang out in the AI IR regulars
48:11 Channel and then when we do these
48:13 nightly lives I do these five nights a
48:16 week um and if if anyone wants to like
48:19 talk about stuff or or do things off the
48:21 little Tik Tok screen you can come in
48:23 here and share images and things like
48:25 that so it's a really nice collab ative
48:27 kind of kind of
48:30 environment so all right let's see what
48:33 questions we got do we have any
48:34 questions ask away about you know
48:37 anything you don't understand if you
48:39 want me to show something anything like
48:41 that I'll I'll sort of blast through
48:44 here and see if I find anything
48:46 interesting please PR ask Ralph Miguel
48:49 tools to give a
48:51 demo invite him up on the panel a demo
48:54 of what what's what are what's Ralph
48:56 Miguel
49:02 [Music]
49:08 tools Papa JJ did you see the clip where
49:10 Moshi wanted Wes Roth to sacrifice a
49:13 human to the blood
49:16 God like I don't know why anyone is
49:19 bothered about moshi moshi is just a
49:22 broken crappy large language model
49:24 sitting underneath an interesting voice
49:26 model but it's not that big a deal there
49:29 we
49:36 go nice comment Pate that's pretty good
49:46 solid I prefer meta
49:50 fives um I was so into the whole nft
49:53 thing and I was so thankful executive
49:55 distinction kicked yeah I know side
49:58 hustle Mimi I was too I was I was really
50:01 into it and I was I was telling you know
50:03 my adviser it's Story vine it's going to
50:05 change the world everything's going to
50:07 be different he's like uh I wouldn't be
50:09 so sure and I was like no you don't get
50:11 it old man he was right can you show
50:15 flux I can unfortunately I'm showing it
50:19 well there's a couple of places that
50:20 exists so we can go play with flux yeah
50:22 so we'll do flux let me come back to
50:24 that I um let's see
50:31 people did that when planes were
50:32 invented anytime there's a new
50:33 technology people [ __ ] all over it we're
50:35 in the middle of that with AI right now
50:38 question what the story behind the gold
50:39 button can you share that story
50:41 absolutely you can make money
50:43 with so when chat GPT came
50:48 out Tick Tock all of a sudden got
50:51 riddled
50:52 with douchy mcfucking
50:55 ton that had Tik Tok channels that were
50:58 like you can make money with ch just pay
51:00 me
51:02 $29.95 I'll teach you everything you
51:04 need know about well got prompt
51:05 libraries
51:08 and and first of
51:11 all that's annoying stop talking like
51:19 that you can make
51:23 money and I just I wanted to reach
51:25 through the screen and just
51:28 you
51:31 know and so the first thing that was
51:33 annoying
51:34 about those channels was that I hated
51:38 the way they
51:42 talked I just there there's something
51:44 about douchy Direct Mail marketing or
51:47 Direct TV marketing that I just [ __ ]
51:50 hate and it the thing I think the thing
51:52 I hate most about it is it [ __ ] works
51:55 and because it works they keep doing it
51:58 but like if you're a human
52:02 being it's [ __ ]
52:05 awful and then there was here's the real
52:09 problem with it and and why I I I made
52:11 fun of them so
52:14 much that I got a gold button because
52:17 this is what they promise right they
52:18 promise it's this easy you can make
52:20 money with time if you just pay me my
52:23 $500 for my stupid [ __ ] course you'll
52:25 be making with money with with chat
52:28 gbt on the surface of it how are they
52:31 making
52:33 money anyone it's not with chat GPT
52:37 they're making money selling
52:41 courses you can make money with real
52:43 estate you can make money with Photoshop
52:46 you can make money with Microsoft Word
52:48 you can make money with
52:52 j and
52:54 so what this channel was for a long time
52:58 was people would come in and the first
53:00 thing they'd ask is how do I make money
53:02 with chat jbt CU they kept hearing that
53:04 message and the answer to that
53:09 question I'll get I'll I'll answer it
53:12 for you but it
53:14 sucks because it's not the answer you
53:17 want the answer you want is chat GPT is
53:20 this magical thing that's going to make
53:22 you
53:24 rich chpt is just a tool
53:28 asking how you make money with chat chpt
53:30 is identical to how you how you make
53:32 money with a
53:35 shovel well you find someone that needs
53:38 holes dug and if you're good at
53:41 shoveling better than the next guy down
53:43 the street you'll make 20 bucks an hour
53:46 shoveling holes with your
53:49 shovel but you're not making money with
53:51 the shovel you're making money by
53:53 selling the
53:55 holes by solving a problem the shovel is
53:59 just there to facilitate it so how you
54:02 make money with chat gbt is you figure
54:04 out what in your life experience you're
54:08 good
54:09 at and you understand and you say well
54:12 who's got a problem to
54:15 solve and then if you know chat GPT well
54:18 enough to solve it better faster or
54:20 cheaper than the other guy and it's
54:23 something that people actually want and
54:25 will pay money for that's how you make
54:27 money with chat
54:28 GPT so it could be you make the coolest
54:31 art and you print it out and now you're
54:33 going to go sell it or you put it on
54:35 t-shirts and you're going to sell
54:36 t-shirts or you write press releases for
54:39 people and you do it more efficiently
54:41 you're not making money with chat GPT
54:43 you're making money solving
54:46 problems this does change by the
54:50 way when we move into autonomous
54:54 agents because right now all the tools
54:56 ire human interaction to prompt them and
55:00 to guide them because they're janky
55:03 pieces of
55:04 [ __ ] the the state of a ai ai right now
55:09 is 10,000 different
55:12 tools that suck in some dramatic
55:16 way that makes them effectively unusable
55:19 without massive amounts of human
55:24 intervention the minute we move from
55:26 level one AGI which is what we have
55:28 right now to level two AGI which is
55:32 reasoning and the a a and the AI can
55:37 actually reason that what it created was
55:39 bad and it can fix it [ __ ] starts to
55:43 change really fast and then level three
55:46 is when that smarter AI can actually
55:49 take actions on our behalf autonomous
55:54 agents so I think about to get these two
55:58 things kind of dropped in our laps in in
56:00 the next two months maybe the next
56:03 month that all of a sudden AI is going
56:06 to go from this this group of disperate
56:09 tools that require lots of participation
56:11 from us to something better I don't
56:13 think it's going to be great out of the
56:15 gate but I think it's going to be pretty
56:18 dramatic um if indeed they've achieved
56:21 it it seems like they have or they
56:23 wouldn't be you know hyping it up quite
56:27 this much but you
56:29 know they they they haven't launched
56:32 anything significant I mean gp4 Omni was
56:36 significant but they've only like half
56:38 launched it like it doesn't have its new
56:42 image uh generating capability it
56:44 doesn't have real-time voice yet that's
56:46 apparently coming in the
56:48 fall so maybe all this shit's coming
56:51 together where they're going to give us
56:52 this new more powerful reasoning
56:55 engine and all these other tools but I
56:58 doubt it I've now tested three AIS with
57:01 helping me optimize my code and they all
57:04 did pretty bad yeah exactly all the
57:05 tools right now are some version of like
57:08 it's close it gets you to 80% but the
57:11 [ __ ] last 20% is what what kills you
57:13 every time and the last 5% is the worst
57:17 one day shovels will dig their own holes
57:19 well that's where we're headed for sure
57:22 but anyway that was the story that's the
57:23 story of the gold
57:25 button thank you for asking cuz I
57:27 haven't I haven't told that I haven't
57:28 talked about it in a while cuz there's
57:30 there's there's still some of that out
57:32 there but for the most part it's not it
57:34 was funny one night about three three
57:36 weeks ago or a month ago um I was
57:39 looking at a YouTube video and there was
57:41 a YouTube pre-roll commercial that was
57:44 it was literally you can make money with
57:46 Chachi I was like oh God they're back
57:50 they're still out
57:53 there oh Champion got a little snack
57:57 champy got a chicken
58:00 stick all right let's
58:05 [Laughter]
58:09 see I thought it was usable for math now
58:12 with wolf from alpha it is you can use
58:15 it with wolf from alfha um with the with
58:18 the uh whatever they called them
58:22 plugins forget what they called them
58:25 um no so so listen built into if if you
58:29 don't know this about chat GPT here let
58:31 me show you
58:38 something so one of the things
58:43 about one of the things
58:46 about working with something like AI
58:48 where there's a lot of misinformation
58:50 and there's a lot of
58:51 ignorance and and by ignorance I'm not
58:54 saying people are stupid I'm saying
58:55 people don't know 47% of Americans it
58:59 might be a little less now but this was
59:00 as of three months ago 47% of Americans
59:04 haven't even heard of chat
59:07 GPT if you dig into the numbers of this
59:10 report less than
59:12 2% of people use chat GPT for more than
59:16 an hour a
59:18 week so that means that I would I would
59:22 sort of Hazard a guess to say of those
59:26 less than 2%
59:28 people at a maximum 25% of them so half
59:33 a percentage of people use chat gbt to
59:37 any level of
59:39 depth like more than just you know give
59:42 me a poem about you know
59:44 [Laughter]
59:47 sanctity
59:49 and so so a lot of the narrative out
59:53 there is oh it hallucinates oh it's bad
59:55 oh it can't do math right and you know
59:58 the the you know you talk about wolf
59:59 from alpha that was that was a solve for
1:00:02 it when it couldn't do math but built
1:00:04 into chat GPT now is this thing called
1:00:06 Advanced Data
1:00:08 analysis um and this is available for
1:00:11 free as is image generation they just
1:00:13 made image generation available for
1:00:15 everyone um but if you click on this
1:00:17 little paperclip oh wait first what I
1:00:20 got to do I'm GNA go get a data set I'm
1:00:22 not a data scientist so I don't
1:00:24 understand this [ __ ] so don't ask me
1:00:26 about it but I do
1:00:28 know if you go to a site called
1:00:30 kaggle.com
1:00:32 don't forget to do your kaggle exercises
1:00:35 do that joke every time because here's
1:00:38 my here's my theory of Comedy if
1:00:41 something works run it into the
1:00:45 ground uh and then I'm going to go to
1:00:47 data sets over here on the left and then
1:00:50 there's data sets so what do we have
1:00:52 here um EV sales this is good great 2010
1:00:55 to 2024 EV
1:00:58 sales CSV so we're going to download
1:01:01 this CSV
1:01:05 file it's called archive 19 I don't know
1:01:09 what's in it but we're going to go to
1:01:10 chat
1:01:12 J I'm going to click on upload from
1:01:14 computer I'm going to go to my downloads
1:01:17 folder there's my little
1:01:20 archive zip
1:01:23 file and then watch this [ __ ] I'm just
1:01:26 going to go
1:01:28 what is
1:01:31 this question
1:01:33 mark and so it says analyzing now if you
1:01:36 click on the word analyzing see the
1:01:38 little drop- down
1:01:40 menu it it already came out hang
1:01:44 on view the analysis what it actually
1:01:48 did there was it wrote and executed its
1:01:50 own python
1:01:52 code so it imported the OS library and
1:01:57 it imported the zip file library and
1:01:59 then it wrote code to extract the files
1:02:02 out of the zip and so it did that so it
1:02:04 said there's a CSV would you like to
1:02:06 explore this so I'll go
1:02:08 yes so notice I'm not really doing any
1:02:11 serious prompting
1:02:13 here and so it's analyzing the data and
1:02:17 it says the CSV file is global EV data
1:02:20 contains data on electric vehicles
1:02:23 across different regions there's region
1:02:25 category parameter includes EV related
1:02:29 metrics such as EV stock or EV stock
1:02:31 share
1:02:32 mode like cars buses Vans powertrain
1:02:36 year unit value percentage cool and
1:02:40 again how did it do that it wrote python
1:02:43 code it imported the Panda's library to
1:02:45 be able to look at a CSV file it then
1:02:48 looked at it it looked it created a
1:02:50 little data table to to understand
1:02:52 what's in there and then it told us
1:02:53 what's in there and I could say
1:02:59 um please analyze this data and come up
1:03:04 with the three most
1:03:08 interesting Trends in the
1:03:11 data that you
1:03:13 feel would be interesting if visualized
1:03:17 period Then visualize them in a visually
1:03:23 stunning graph
1:03:29 period and so now it says analyzing so
1:03:31 again I can click on this and see what
1:03:33 it's doing so it's writing writing code
1:03:35 and executing
1:03:43 code and there's one of your graphs and
1:03:51 charts
1:03:53 um what could you make a pie chart out
1:03:55 of
1:04:02 but what this is doing the reason I
1:04:04 brought this up because you mentioned
1:04:06 wolf from
1:04:07 alfha chat GPT as a large language model
1:04:11 is not good at math because it's a large
1:04:14 language model it's not a large math
1:04:17 model
1:04:19 um but what but what Advanced Data
1:04:22 analysis is doing is it's saying hey um
1:04:25 chat GPT smart enough to know hey if I
1:04:28 ask for something that's like data
1:04:29 analysis let's use let's write python we
1:04:32 understand how to write python code so
1:04:34 we can write python code to do the
1:04:36 analysis and do math mathematical
1:04:38 equations
1:04:40 so um let's
1:04:52 do market share
1:05:05 so there you
1:05:06 go there is now why do I not have oh
1:05:09 yeah I can edit yeah so I can go and I
1:05:11 can edit the colors if you pay the 20
1:05:13 bucks a month these are fancy charts and
1:05:15 graphs where you can you can actually
1:05:18 edit the uh the
1:05:20 colors so let's see what's what's the
1:05:23 green one oh that's the world
1:05:26 so let's change this to this color
1:05:33 green did it change it it didn't change
1:05:38 it why did it not change
1:05:44 it I don't know whatever anyway so
1:05:47 pretty groovy huh I don't know if you
1:05:49 knew chat GPT could do that the other
1:05:51 thing chat GP can do chat GPT can do
1:05:54 that most people don't know
1:05:56 is it can
1:05:58 see and I'll show you some this is if
1:06:01 you if you haven't been playing if you
1:06:03 haven't been digging deep with chat GPT
1:06:05 there's some [ __ ] that it does
1:06:07 that I take for granted now and I
1:06:10 shouldn't um let me go
1:06:15 whiteboard and I'll tell you um Kelly
1:06:18 Camp who's in here Source
1:06:20 Camp um has a really cool use case for
1:06:23 this white b o a r
1:06:32 d That's it okay failed to upload please
1:06:37 ensure your network
1:06:39 settings uh well don't be an
1:06:44 [ __ ]
1:06:46 white
1:06:54 board how about those American kicking
1:06:56 ass at the Olympics man some of the
1:06:59 track and field events why is this
1:07:01 breaking let me reload chat
1:07:05 GPT come on chat GPT what are you doing
1:07:08 here you breaking on me yeah stup yeah
1:07:12 dumb
1:07:22 dumb okay now it's now it's uploaded we
1:07:26 had some sort of local local cash
1:07:28 situation
1:07:31 people so again I'm going to say what is
1:07:33 this what is
1:07:37 this now I know what this
1:07:40 is It's a whiteboard I downloaded off
1:07:43 the internet this is like a year ago I
1:07:45 just said I want to go find a when this
1:07:48 feature came out I want to go find a
1:07:52 whiteboard and it's a whiteboard that
1:07:54 that's got some audience things and some
1:07:57 functional things and it's got some
1:07:58 screen sketches screen
1:08:01 designs and so we just ask it what that
1:08:04 thing is and it says the image is a
1:08:06 photograph of a whiteboard that outlines
1:08:08 the conceptual design of an airport
1:08:10 ordering UI system it appears to be used
1:08:13 for brain storming or planning features
1:08:16 and a flow of user interface for
1:08:18 ordering food and drinks at an
1:08:19 International Airport there's the
1:08:21 ordering
1:08:22 UI there's the main steps for the user
1:08:25 there there's two UI design sketches
1:08:28 there's additional consider like holy
1:08:30 [ __ ] if you didn't know it could do this
1:08:33 you know how are are you like me you can
1:08:36 make money with chat gbt are you like me
1:08:40 and you have ADHD and you write [ __ ] on
1:08:43 your whiteboard and then it sits on your
1:08:45 whiteboard for three months because you
1:08:46 keep telling yourself you're going to
1:08:48 write the notes of the important stuff
1:08:51 but you keep writing more [ __ ] on your
1:08:52 whiteboard and now your whiteboard is
1:08:54 just 17 different projects all written
1:08:57 inside each
1:08:58 other imagine if you had a technology
1:09:01 where you could just take a picture of
1:09:02 that whiteboard upload it and say figure
1:09:05 this [ __ ] out it's really good at that
1:09:07 it's really good at that
1:09:11 so okay so here's what we're going to do
1:09:13 we're going to
1:09:15 say great I'd like you to act as a
1:09:20 marketing consultant that
1:09:22 specializes
1:09:24 in app
1:09:26 Marketing in the airline
1:09:29 industry and help me come up with a
1:09:32 creative
1:09:34 brief
1:09:38 for naming this
1:09:47 app so it updated my memory that's
1:09:51 interesting so project titled naming and
1:09:54 tagline development so it it went beyond
1:09:56 just naming it said tagline as well for
1:09:58 the airport food food ordering app
1:10:01 there's a bunch of stuff it gave us a
1:10:02 target audience that's that was all in
1:10:04 the Whiteboard here's brand attributes
1:10:06 so one of the things I'm doing here is
1:10:08 I'm saying I I didn't just say give me
1:10:11 20 names I said first tell me what's on
1:10:13 the Whiteboard told me that then I said
1:10:16 give me a creative brief for naming the
1:10:18 thing so now I'm going to
1:10:22 say give me 20 possible name and
1:10:27 subtitle combos based on this creative
1:10:38 brief fly bite gate grub Arrow eats Sky
1:10:42 share air bite jet eats Cloud plate
1:10:45 quick sky Fly plate flight bite flight
1:10:48 bite I like it eat fast fly smart all
1:10:52 right we'll go with
1:10:53 10 I like 10 period
1:10:56 now come up with a marketing plan for
1:11:09 [Music]
1:11:12 10 objective to launch the flight bite
1:11:15 app successfully across international
1:11:17 airports position it as the go-to
1:11:19 solution great
1:11:22 okay I want you to come up with a poster
1:11:25 concept
1:11:28 that includes a
1:11:35 clever brand
1:11:37 promise the
1:11:40 tagline the name of the app
1:11:44 and someone holding a
1:11:47 phone that prominently features the app
1:11:51 interface of the ordering screen
1:11:58 this can get really cool in a second
1:12:00 here in case you're not digging
1:12:03 this cuz it's like it's just words words
1:12:06 are boring could we not do the
1:12:09 words words exhaust me do I have to read
1:12:12 them they're tiny on the screen I my
1:12:14 eyes
1:12:16 hurt Sleek modern
1:12:19 airport visual elements okay um so
1:12:23 here's what I'm going to say
1:12:26 make a 16x9 image of the interior of an
1:12:29 airport featuring the poster prominently
1:12:32 displayed in the airport setting based
1:12:36 on your description
1:12:49 here the future is so
1:12:52 lame try this in Gemini
1:12:56 so look Fly Fast eat Smart it didn't
1:12:59 quite do what I asked it to do because
1:13:00 it put the it put the the ordering UI
1:13:03 outside of the poster but that's
1:13:06 actually not a bad looking
1:13:10 uh that's not a bad looking what you
1:13:12 call it how can
1:13:15 I I download it
1:13:20 yeah that's pretty slick looking look at
1:13:23 that
1:13:25 nice modern
1:13:34 [Music]
1:13:37 airport and then I can go I'm go back
1:13:39 over here and I can go
1:13:43 um create a ux mockup based on the
1:13:53 Whiteboard design the UI
1:13:57 so
1:13:59 that it matches the creative briefs and
1:14:02 marketing briefs
1:14:12 above all right it's describing it first
1:14:14 that's okay it's giving us a creative
1:14:16 brief for that or a or a ux
1:14:23 brief yes please generate the VIS ual
1:14:32 mockups mockups
1:14:57 look at
1:15:00 that
1:15:04 so this is
1:15:06 essentially
1:15:08 um this is 9-month-old
1:15:11 technology should be eat Smart Fly Fast
1:15:14 yeah it should actually that's a good
1:15:17 point I'm not really paying attention to
1:15:21 that but like so look I got mockups with
1:15:24 QR codes here's the food here's the
1:15:26 ordering screens flight
1:15:28 bite right welcome tap to
1:15:35 start I mean
1:15:38 amazing if you still still think that
1:15:40 chap chbt is just like shitty poetry
1:15:43 writing so you'll need to add a
1:15:45 mid-journey API and GPT for accurate
1:15:47 text and images actually mid Journey's
1:15:49 shitty at text the 6.1 has gotten better
1:15:53 um but mid Journey shitty at it if you
1:15:54 want good text
1:15:56 yeah what I would do so what I could do
1:15:58 is I could say um write me a
1:16:02 prompt for the poster image that I can
1:16:06 use in another image generating
1:16:13 tool oh someone want wanted me to show
1:16:15 flux I'll go I'll go make uh I I'll go
1:16:18 put
1:16:23 this there we go
1:16:26 so I'm just going to copy and paste this
1:16:27 prompt I don't even really know what it
1:16:28 says I'll just say poster for a mobile
1:16:31 app
1:16:35 copy and then I'm going to go
1:16:38 to uh what the hell was it called uh
1:16:42 ever art. AI ever
1:16:45 art.
1:16:51 AI so this allows me everard allows me
1:16:55 me to use the flux pro model they just
1:16:58 change they they changed their interface
1:17:00 so I can use flux Pro stable diffusion
1:17:03 Ultra or Ultra pixel 4K and I can also
1:17:06 make my own models here so this is just
1:17:09 a website that's using open source
1:17:12 models sitting underneath it and so I
1:17:14 can so the model that's under here is
1:17:17 flux so I'm going to paste in that
1:17:19 prompt that chat GPT just wrote based on
1:17:22 the Whiteboard that it
1:17:24 saw um um I'll do a 16 by9 wide image
1:17:28 that's good and let's just see what it
1:17:31 gives us
1:17:34 boom and this should have more accurate
1:17:36 text although doll's pretty good with
1:17:39 text too but mid journey is not mid
1:17:40 journey is crappy it's 6.1 is better at
1:17:43 text it's not great but it's better but
1:17:46 if you want high high quality images mid
1:17:49 journey is great but everyone's been
1:17:50 talking about
1:17:52 flux this model in a way that's like
1:17:55 like hauh this is really good that's
1:17:58 actually kind of cool that it's got the
1:17:59 flight bite up on the big on the big
1:18:03 thing and now the hand is holding it
1:18:04 here so that's that must be what the
1:18:07 uh what the prompt said I didn't read
1:18:10 really read the prompt Fly Fast eat
1:18:13 smart or
1:18:17 eat fly yeah you're right Vicki that's a
1:18:20 really bad tagline
1:18:26 doesn't make any sense but look I mean
1:18:28 this is cool this is
1:18:34 flux you can also use flux now in po
1:18:38 po.com poe.com
1:18:41 poe.com I don't think I can do it I
1:18:44 think I got rid of my subscription for
1:18:46 po but let me see if I can
1:18:49 find
1:18:51 explore search for flux
1:18:56 flux
1:18:58 Pro subscriber access
1:19:05 official uh here let's put that
1:19:16 same same prompt what you go so there's
1:19:21 I guess you can do it in PO for free
1:19:25 look at that that's pretty
1:19:28 good
1:19:36 um make me an image of a photo finish in
1:19:42 the Olympic 100 meter dash
1:20:02 that's
1:20:07 horrible on a lot of
1:20:09 levels that's really
1:20:15 bad but let's say uh we'll try to do
1:20:18 we'll try to do this we'll go um
1:20:26 create a magazine
1:20:28 quality create a magazine quality
1:20:31 photograph of the point of view of
1:20:34 someone reading a picture
1:20:39 book that
1:20:40 has a picture and below it is the
1:20:44 word and there should be a picture of a
1:20:48 turtle a
1:20:50 llama a gummy
1:20:52 bear a bear with
1:20:58 wings and a
1:21:04 hedgehog so we should get it should say
1:21:08 all those
1:21:13 words it's doing pretty bad look at the
1:21:15 look at the creepy finger the creepy
1:21:18 finger I don't think that's a finger
1:21:21 Uncle Uncle Tom Uncle Tom is that your
1:21:24 finger
1:21:36 we got to get away from here I'm G to
1:21:37 get kicked off Tick
1:21:42 Tock it was just a kids
1:21:45 [Laughter]
1:21:47 book oh god oh no
1:21:52 [Laughter]
1:22:04 W where did that finger come from
1:22:07 exactly oh my God that's the next Tik
1:22:09 Tok Trend Uncle Tom flash
1:22:15 talk oh
1:22:18 man that was that was that was that was
1:22:21 some bedtime reading
1:22:26 I don't want Grandpa to read me a
1:22:29 story it's not funny it's not
1:22:34 [Laughter]
1:22:38 funny I didn't make the [ __ ] well I
1:22:40 did make the image but I didn't tell it
1:22:43 to do
1:22:45 that so it looks like you can use the
1:22:47 flux model on um po but it doesn't look
1:22:51 like they've done much fine tuning to it
1:22:53 cuz those images are shitty let's go try
1:22:55 them on uh ever
1:22:57 art where's ever
1:23:06 art
1:23:07 [Music]
1:23:14 um magazine quality
1:23:17 photograph of two
1:23:22 hands holding a book
1:23:27 that has six different
1:23:30 images with the word below it
1:23:34 period the images are a fir truck a
1:23:41 turtle a
1:23:44 pen a coffee
1:23:47 cup a
1:23:51 lamp and a blue rubber duck
1:23:58 flux is supposed to be good at prompt
1:24:07 coherence so we'll see what we
1:24:10 get I wonder if they added left and
1:24:12 right arrows oh that looks pretty good
1:24:17 actually
1:24:20 this freest that's the freest truck
1:24:26 coffee coffee
1:24:32 lamp all right seemed good on the at the
1:24:35 moment okay coffee no pen
1:24:39 yes I don't know what that is duck it
1:24:41 got duck
1:24:43 right it's bad but I mean listen it's
1:24:46 it's in the neighborhood you can
1:24:47 Photoshop that [ __ ]
1:24:53 out let's go try this same prompt in
1:24:56 ideogram we haven't done ideogram in a
1:25:01 while uh ID o g r a m.ai so this is id.
1:25:08 a ideogram is really good at text as
1:25:10 well so this and it should have better
1:25:11 prompt coherence so magazine quality
1:25:14 photograph of two hands holding a book
1:25:15 that has six different images with the
1:25:17 word below it fire truck Turtle pen
1:25:21 coffee coffee cup lamp blue rubber duck
1:25:24 is that six right Turtle pen coffee cup
1:25:29 lamp
1:25:38 yes that's becoming a fave for me
1:25:40 ideogram makes funny mistakes too yeah
1:25:43 know it's it really is I really love
1:25:45 that lamp I I mean that's a cool thing
1:25:47 oh this is looking
1:25:50 weird but this is how diffusion models
1:25:52 work they start out look they got they
1:25:54 got well this just went way wrong holy
1:25:59 [ __ ] did this go
1:26:04 bad those hands are disturbing
1:26:14 [Laughter]
1:26:26 Auntie Edna's hands are weird mom do I
1:26:30 have to have her read the book to
1:26:32 [Laughter]
1:26:37 me yes that looks perfectly natural
1:26:39 that's exactly how you hold the book
1:26:41 okay that's very so now now I'm curious
1:26:44 can like can this prompt be done now
1:26:47 we're at Mid Journey let's see what mid
1:26:49 Journey does with this am I
1:26:52 doing yeah
1:26:55 there's my digital hoarder
1:26:57 picture what what I this this was for
1:26:59 Jim Ross I came up with this
1:27:03 um the day you find the the tagline for
1:27:06 this ad was the day you find out why
1:27:10 your fiance didn't want you to meet her
1:27:12 mother and then it's and Jim Ross Works
1:27:14 in in Self
1:27:19 Storage that's a good one I'm I'm pretty
1:27:23 pretty happy with that what did I do oh
1:27:25 I didn't go to Mid Journey did I wait
1:27:29 what what did I just do oh I put the
1:27:32 prompt in I'm such a dumb dumb hey you
1:27:35 know when you're a dumb dumb and then
1:27:37 you realize oh you're such a dumb dumb
1:27:39 that's what I just
1:27:42 did
1:27:45 Runway get started no not Runway mid
1:27:48 Journey jeez this is
1:27:52 bad okay put it in the right place this
1:27:57 time and let's
1:27:59 generate no fast hours left you have no
1:28:02 fast hours left please change [ __ ] oh
1:28:06 I'm out of [ __ ] mid Journey
1:28:12 things I need sponsorship from these app
1:28:15 companies God get son of
1:28:22 a anybody want to help
1:28:30 I don't know where to fix that well
1:28:31 whatever it doesn't [ __ ] matter all
1:28:35 right I'm done I'm done I'm I'm really
1:28:40 really really mid
1:28:44 Journey well you're costing us you know
1:28:46 every every time you generate an image
1:28:48 it's it's 372 Tera flops
1:28:52 of so each average on on average is 27.3
1:28:58 and you pay $10 a month and that yields
1:29:01 you
1:29:12 man got to grind some tokens steal
1:29:15 [Laughter]
1:29:17 them they don't get generated from thin
1:29:20 air yeah P Pate Pate is the one whose
1:29:23 job it is to make the the inference the
1:29:27 inference processing more efficient so
1:29:29 he's a little sensitive about token cost
1:29:32 or inference
1:29:34 cost I do not disparage any of them for
1:29:37 charging money I just resent the fact
1:29:41 that I have to pay
1:29:42 [Laughter]
1:29:42 [Music]
1:29:48 it oh I hope we can mine tokens yeah
1:29:51 exactly I feel like that's where we're
1:29:53 going with open AI let's go let's let's
1:29:54 go take a look at uh Twitter and see if
1:29:57 see if uh I rule the world did anything
1:30:00 actually interesting other than a stupid
1:30:01 [ __ ] python script so sick of this
1:30:05 dumb
1:30:08 [ __ ] I fully endorse Andrew Yang the
1:30:11 dawn of AGI necessitates that was 10
1:30:13 hours
1:30:18 ago um for you oops Gary Marcus tool
1:30:26 I'm sure he's a nice guy but God I hate
1:30:28 his
1:30:35 opinions electricity is back nice
1:30:41 fantastic what's the best car insurance
1:30:44 this was 6 hours ago this is it I love
1:30:47 you all thanks for the ride see you on
1:30:49 the other
1:30:52 side GitHub I rule the world world did
1:30:55 they put anything more interesting there
1:30:57 other than what they have
1:31:02 nope two
1:31:04 commits the read me that says I love
1:31:06 summer in the garden and the stupid
1:31:08 [ __ ] python script come on open AI
1:31:14 really like like you're making this
1:31:17 exciting for the seven nerds that
1:31:20 [ __ ] follow along really
1:31:25 I can't I
1:31:28 can't Frank should do a video but I'm
1:31:30 too tired I'll do I'll do a Frank video
1:31:32 on
1:31:33 Monday um okay so let me get out of here
1:31:39 the if you're new here go to the salon.
1:31:44 this is the AI Salon it's a group that's
1:31:47 been around we we launched this we had
1:31:49 our first meeting the week after chat
1:31:51 GPT launched November 30 2022 is the day
1:31:55 that will go down in
1:31:58 infamy
1:32:00 um it's a day that I think is one of the
1:32:02 most important dates in the history of
1:32:05 humanity and I know that's being really
1:32:07 really [ __ ]
1:32:09 dramatic um but I but I do I think it's
1:32:11 really important because that's the day
1:32:13 that chat GPT came out that's the day
1:32:15 that the power of machine learning and
1:32:18 artificial intelligence intelligence was
1:32:21 made available to non
1:32:26 Engineers the rest of us right ai's been
1:32:31 around for decades people have been
1:32:33 working on AI for decades it's in most
1:32:35 of
1:32:44 the what's going
1:32:48 on what H Tik Tok just crashed I can't
1:32:53 get my
1:32:54 little whatever I don't give a [ __ ]
1:33:07 um uhoh
1:33:11 now I can't flip my camera anymore oh
1:33:15 [Laughter]
1:33:21 no you see me
1:33:28 really cuz I can't my dual camera isn't
1:33:33 available during go live together
1:33:36 apparently am I live with someone
1:33:41 else well not now not
1:33:48 now flip camera all right there I am can
1:33:51 you see me now
1:34:09 okay anyway go join the AI Salon go to
1:34:11 the
1:34:13 salon. that's our website read about us
1:34:16 go join the
1:34:19 community okay so here's the deal this
1:34:22 thing you make Mone will
1:34:25 hey here's how you're going to make
1:34:27 money with chat GPT get your ass in an
1:34:30 AI optimistic and AI positive Community
1:34:36 the AI Salon is one of
1:34:38 those I think it's the best
1:34:41 one um a lot of the other AI communities
1:34:44 are very technical they're about the
1:34:46 technology they're about coding and
1:34:48 engineering and
1:34:50 hackathons the AI Salon is about using
1:34:54 AI applying
1:34:58 AI what do we do with AI post chat GPT
1:35:02 um and it's a really amazing group so go
1:35:04 do that follow my channel wherever it is
1:35:08 this channel Tik Tok Channel um and keep
1:35:12 coming back here night after night it's
1:35:13 Community yeah exactly it's a really
1:35:15 good Community having fun with AI yeah
1:35:16 exactly it's a group that has fun
1:35:18 they're generous they're Brave it's just
1:35:21 super cool um
1:35:24 people that show up here night after
1:35:28 night you must be thinking like what the
1:35:30 [ __ ] is wrong with them I totally agree
1:35:33 but they're not
1:35:34 weird they're
1:35:38 irregular so if you show up here night
1:35:40 after night you too become
1:35:42 irregular and if you're already
1:35:46 irregular it's irregular
1:35:48 squared why would you not want
1:35:52 that um but but coming back here night
1:35:55 after night keeps you in the
1:35:56 conversation like this conversation's
1:35:59 important it's it's important what I was
1:36:02 going to say about joining the community
1:36:03 and making money with cat
1:36:07 gbt especially because it seems like
1:36:09 we're on the verge of whatever this next
1:36:11 thing that open AI is launching that's
1:36:13 going to be quite capable of doing
1:36:18 [ __ ] in the next year two
1:36:21 years the AI is going to get so good at
1:36:26 tasks that the skills that many people
1:36:29 went to school for and have been in
1:36:32 20year careers for are going to be
1:36:35 automated by the
1:36:37 AI and so what the what the doomers are
1:36:40 saying is oh you know like everyone's
1:36:41 going to lose their jobs it's all going
1:36:42 to be awful n it's going to be
1:36:45 awful what's going to happen is there's
1:36:47 still going to be jobs but you're we're
1:36:50 going to we're going to make a
1:36:51 transition we're going to make a shift
1:36:53 from people get hired for what they can
1:36:55 do their skills to who they are and how
1:36:59 much we trust
1:37:01 them and how you're going to get hired
1:37:03 in the future is to be a trusted
1:37:06 contributing member of a community where
1:37:08 people understand not what you do but
1:37:11 how you do
1:37:14 it we're entering what I'm thinking of
1:37:17 is a reckoning for
1:37:19 [ __ ] if you're super talented at a
1:37:22 skill and you're a dick
1:37:25 right now you still get hired because
1:37:27 you're the only one that can do that
1:37:29 skill so you can just be a big douchebag
1:37:32 burn all your Bridges just be a jerk
1:37:34 they're still going to hire you because
1:37:36 you can do that well what happens when
1:37:38 AI makes it possible for everyone to do
1:37:40 that
1:37:41 skill you're going to not get hired
1:37:44 anymore you know who's going to get
1:37:45 hired the people that are part of a
1:37:47 community that oh I really like working
1:37:49 with Kelly cuz she's she gets [ __ ] done
1:37:52 and she's smart and she's curious and
1:37:54 she's got all these aptitudes that I
1:37:55 really like and now I know that she's AI
1:37:58 literate because she's part of this AI
1:38:00 community so being a part of a community
1:38:02 like AI Salon is actually the future of
1:38:06 employment from how I see this rolling
1:38:09 over the next three years so if I were
1:38:12 you oh cool chicken nice who did that
1:38:16 one is that Lord digital Gods very nice
1:38:19 the naughty chicken oh sir that was such
1:38:23 a chicken it jumped right on my head did
1:38:26 it poop no there's no
1:38:28 poop um thank you very much for that
1:38:30 it's very generous that was very cool um
1:38:33 so get your ass in the community and
1:38:35 keep coming back here build
1:38:37 relationships don't be a douche be
1:38:40 generous be empathetic be brave be like
1:38:44 contribute because in doing that when
1:38:48 Kelly Camp all of a sudden goes from
1:38:51 little job here little job there to
1:38:52 being hired by a big company to do some
1:38:55 big ass [ __ ] and she needs to hire four
1:38:57 or five people to do that who do you
1:38:59 think she's going to go to think she's
1:39:01 going to go to LinkedIn and look at
1:39:04 resumés she already knows I guarantee
1:39:07 you I guarantee you every person that
1:39:09 comes in here that is has got
1:39:11 aspirations to do something I guarantee
1:39:13 you every person that's in here knows
1:39:15 their top five probably their top 10
1:39:18 people that if they needed to to hire
1:39:20 them for something they know who they
1:39:21 are and what they'd hire them for
1:39:25 and what I can promise you is they don't
1:39:26 give too flying [ __ ] about what they've
1:39:28 done historically where they went to
1:39:30 school what their current skill set
1:39:34 is they're going to hire them because
1:39:36 they know them and they trust them and
1:39:38 they like how they work how they work
1:39:40 not what they do that's a good little
1:39:43 rant to end the weekend on all right
1:39:45 good beautiful perfect so what we're
1:39:48 going to do here thank you mods uh
1:39:50 thanks for modding tonight did a good
1:39:51 job thank you very much question please
1:39:53 don't you think the government will set
1:39:54 rules about AI to save money I don't
1:39:57 know what that means hey Kelly I have a
1:40:00 good cup of tea oh I make a good cup of
1:40:02 tea nice
1:40:04 um the government will apply rules to AI
1:40:08 to save money I don't know what that
1:40:10 means good speech Kyle thank you very
1:40:12 much archetypal
1:40:14 architect
1:40:17 um my fear is that the government is
1:40:20 going
1:40:22 to create regulations about AI because
1:40:25 they're afraid of AI and they think that
1:40:28 they need to protect us from
1:40:30 it and the problem with that is that
1:40:33 what it misses like protections are good
1:40:36 but what it misses is protecting our
1:40:40 ability to use AI That's
1:40:43 transformative and that's what I want to
1:40:45 make sure I'm speaking in Washington on
1:40:46 September 11th with 11 other AI
1:40:49 entrepreneurs
1:40:50 to senators and congressmen talk to them
1:40:54 about generative Ai and the AI Salon is
1:40:56 actually sponsoring that trip we're
1:40:58 co-sponsoring it with Google for small
1:41:00 business and we got asked to do that
1:41:04 because we're a group of AI optimists
1:41:08 and they're all legislating from Fear so
1:41:10 we're like it's my job to go in there
1:41:13 and say um I am watching daily as AI is
1:41:17 transforming people's lives for the
1:41:20 better and allowing them to start
1:41:21 businesses and things like that and if
1:41:23 all you do is is say here's how
1:41:25 dangerous it is let's shut it down and
1:41:27 put a cap on it you're going to
1:41:29 inadvertently screw like an entire you
1:41:33 know nation of entrepreneurs that are
1:41:36 about to transform themselves so anyway
1:41:40 all right so let's get on out of here
1:41:41 I'm going to do the little magic mirror
1:41:43 thing Jose parate in the house Be not

1:43:34 8:00
1:43:35 pm the exception if that stupid [ __ ]
1:43:39 nft marketing campaign actually yields
1:43:43 some interesting technology of of over
1:43:45 the weekend I will likely go live to
1:43:48 talk about it and play with it I don't
1:43:51 think that's going to happen but it
1:43:53 could but it's I don't think it's G to
