6:06 followers um the companies they work for
6:08 are going to start exploiting their
6:11 likeness and just assume that no one's
6:14 going to do anything about
6:17 it I think that's a
6:23 business I need an agent Ops or
6:27 apps I'm not sure
6:30 how to process the fact you don't have a
6:33 box over your

7:16 just kind of drop that like where's that

7:22 sitting we had we met our last meeting
7:24 today was up in Ridgefield Connecticut
7:26 with one of our Pharma
7:28 clients and and we were sitting with
7:31 them and I showed them notebook LM which
7:33 blew their flipping
7:35 minds and then showed them our AI tool
7:39 and showed them our video Persona
7:42 product that we put together where we
7:44 can spin up a Persona a fake person and
7:48 bring them to life in video and have
7:49 them tell their
7:51 story and they were really intrigued by
7:53 that and then we talked about um the
7:58 video Avatar that we made of the school
8:01 Master for my co-founders school and
8:06 that we filmed her once and now when we
8:08 want to make a video of her we just we
8:11 have a GPT that takes a blog post that
8:13 she wrote turns it into a script and we
8:15 just turn that into a video and they
8:16 were like let me see
8:18 that and so we showed it to them and the
8:23 the first thing that actually someone
8:25 came from outside the office we were in
8:27 and was like what's this
8:30 and the first thing that they said is
8:32 well we could just make video avatars of
8:34 our
8:38 salespeople and
8:40 so you know it it's a Pharma client so
8:43 they're not going to be able to do [ __ ]
8:45 because of legal and Regulatory and
8:47 things like that
8:48 however over the next two or three years
8:51 they'll experiment they'll do
8:56 something and if I were those salese
9:01 I would start negotiating
9:03 my my rights contracts
9:06 today because what's going to happen is
9:11 um in the absence of an agreement the
9:14 corporation's going to come up with the
9:16 thing that is most beneficial to them
9:19 and so I think that these are really
9:21 nuanced rights I think these
9:24 are um impossible to predict how
9:28 valuable they're going to be I think
9:30 that Talent
9:31 agents
9:34 understand um the value of talent the
9:37 value
9:39 of you know someone who
9:42 can represent the company well on
9:45 camera and so I would see the I would
9:49 see the talent agent being like
9:54 um let's say let's say that the Talon
9:57 agent signs salesperson
10:01 Bob and reaches out and says hey Bob Bob
10:05 loves working for you but Bob would like
10:09 to negotiate the use of his
10:12 likeness moving
10:15 forward and put some sort of deal in
10:18 place and then once that deal is
10:21 negotiated have Bob tell all the other
10:23 sales people and then talent agent signs
10:27 up more of those salese and cuts them
10:29 deals too or maybe you find them all
10:32 first and you go to a big company and
10:34 you say hey I've got 30 of your 40
10:38 Talent OR sales
10:39 reps
10:41 um would like to be compensated if you
10:45 ever use their likeness for automated
10:52 sales forgive me if you've already
10:54 covered this but what are your thoughts
10:56 on AI driven policy you mean government
11:01 policy oh AI driven like AI created
11:06 policy I think
11:11 that in the right hands of someone that
11:13 knows what they're doing with prompting
11:15 and is is a good critical thinker Aid
11:18 driven policy could be absolutely
11:20 [ __ ]
11:23 remarkable I mean it effectively can't
11:25 get worse than what the humans have done
11:27 with it
11:32 you know anthropic has they've got
11:34 what's called a constitutional learning
11:35 model the way their their model improves
11:38 is they've got a set of rules and when
11:41 it generates an
11:43 answer it measures that answer against
11:46 it against its constitutional
11:48 rules and so it's constantly improving
11:50 its answers based on those imperatives
11:53 and they're things like you know don't
11:55 harm humans and amplify value and and
11:58 whatever the whatever those rules are
11:59 are and so the content that it creates
12:02 amplify all that
12:04 stuff and so I could see there being a
12:07 variation of that
12:13 where you know you say things like we
12:17 don't want
12:19 corruption we don't want
12:22 grifting we do want policy that balance
12:26 you know the rights and needs of
12:32 everyone and we want to understand how
12:35 you made the decision you made we may
12:36 not agree with the decision that you
12:38 made but we can at least look at how you
12:41 made that decision okay we
12:44 waited the imperatives in our
12:47 constitution in the following ways and
12:49 then this issue had the
12:51 following
12:53 rules and we weighed them against you
12:56 know the imperatives and based on that
13:00 passing the law came out at
13:02 52.7% and not passing it came out at
13:06 47.2
13:08 and as the Constitution says unless we
13:12 have a
13:12 55% pass it we send it back to the
13:17 legislators or whatever or I'm going to
13:19 go rewrite it until it hits that 55%
13:22 threshold
13:24 so it couldn't possibly get worse than
13:27 what's happening now in my
13:32 opinion can you recommend a platform for
13:34 a resume not really I I um there are pro
13:39 if you go to futur
13:42 pedia.com
13:46 paste your existing resume or your
13:49 LinkedIn profile into chat GPT and just
13:52 have it tell it to write you a really
13:54 you know well structured resume and it
13:56 it'll do pretty
13:58 good I know I will always have to look

14:05 know before we you know put anything
14:07 into law
14:08 sure yeah we should look over the
14:10 contract before we legislate with it but
14:13 I think that I think that it could be
14:15 quite remarkable at

14:55 list of links what chat GPT does

16:51 as it currently exists and you say in
16:54 order to pass legislation you've got to
16:55 do all this
16:57 research and you've got to s syze all
17:00 that research and then you've got to
17:01 weigh it against this rule set the set
17:03 of
17:04 imperatives and then you've got to
17:06 produce you know reports that we can
17:08 review and then you've got to make
17:09 recommendations and then we're going to
17:11 give you feedback and based on the
17:12 feedback we give you you're going to
17:15 consolidate all that
17:16 feedback and you're going to amend the
17:18 laws and then you're going to measure
17:21 that amended law against the imperatives
17:24 and improve them and make
17:26 recommendations back to us and you do
17:27 three rounds of that you'll have
17:30 bulletproof
17:31 legislation how will AI interpret or
17:35 understand religion I just did it the
17:37 other night Mr it I did it last night
17:40 well it wasn't really religion
17:43 but I had to take the
17:47 top the top five
17:51 philosophical
17:52 Frameworks and the bottom five
17:55 philosophical Frameworks and I said
17:58 identify the five weakest points in the

18:10 framework that's a hybrid of the best

18:16 best and the best of the worst

21:40 understanding AI is really good at
21:42 Nuance humans
21:45 aren't so I think AI would understand
21:48 the ignorant bigoted religious person
21:51 better than the ignorant bigoted
21:53 religious person would understand AI do
21:56 I have something on my chin no oh look
21:58 it's just a I didn't realize I had a
22:00 little dimple in my chin it's off center

22:10 the judge of that is there a
22:13 compatibility Matrix between models and
22:17 and embedding models trying to design a
22:22 system I don't quite know what you mean
22:26 I think each model's got its own
22:28 embedding
22:30 tool API so so and not all of them
22:32 reveal their embedding API
22:37 so it relies heavily on what you want to
22:40 do I don't I don't know a I I know very
22:42 little about the open source World other
22:44 than it's really complicated and it's it
22:47 makes my head hurt trying to keep up
22:48 with it
22:50 um so I
22:53 don't and then for the biggies you know
22:55 I would just go look at the
22:56 documentation right I would go look at
22:58 CLA I would go look at perplexity has an
23:01 API open AI has an
23:03 API
23:07 um and all all of them likely have some
23:10 sort of embedding model but if they
23:12 don't they don't but I don't know like
23:14 it might be possible you can embed [ __ ]
23:16 with open AI that you can use in cla's
23:18 API but I I I I I ain't got I ain't got
23:23 book
23:25 learning so your question was smarter
23:28 than my capacity to answer

30:37 research and write a kickass

30:46 canvas and do the same thing that's
30:49 already connected to the internet so

30:53 a newsletter article about this topic
30:56 and go research the latest articles
30:57 about it and have it write it and then

31:29 plan and uploaded it chat GPT and said
31:31 estimate the drywall I need and estimate

34:58 resumé platforms is you can go look to

2:33:04 including uh Demis hassabis who just won
2:33:07 the Nobel Prize for chemistry for his

2:33:14 this concept of the Transformer and the
2:33:16 Transformer basically allows you to give
2:33:19 it a bunch of data and it it
2:33:21 deconstructs that data and throws it
2:33:25 into many many dimensional mathematical
2:33:28 space where all points of data these
2:33:31 things called tokens live at some point
2:33:34 in mathematical space and when you give
2:33:35 it a prompt it generates a probability
2:33:39 of which token comes
2:33:41 next and so so that's sort of the base
2:33:45 technology that a lot of this generative
2:33:47 AI stuff like chat GPT and Claude and
2:33:50 perplexity and all these different tools
2:33:52 are using
2:33:55 Gemini um rag is called retrieval
2:33:58 augmented generation and that's where
2:34:00 you're taking you
2:34:03 know data documents and you embed them
2:34:08 in such a way that your chat GPT large
2:34:11 language model can basically query those
2:34:15 documents and so you can ask for very
2:34:18 specific data like like someone's
2:34:20 insurance number or whatever it might be
2:34:23 and pull that back into the chat and
2:34:25 then it gives you a combination of a
2:34:27 large language model chat with some
2:34:29 specific data from the
2:34:33 retrieval the vector
2:34:35 database so it's like it's like mini
2:34:38 embeddings mini mini mini large language
2:34:41 models Mini Mini data models so they're
2:34:45 different
2:34:46 but yeah that's what trans the T in GPT
2:34:50 is
2:34:51 Transformer that's that
2:34:56 technology each point has a distance and
2:34:58 an angle yeah
