28. 5:27billion I am I am more and more convinced that a really lucrative business that you could start in the next year is to be a talent agent for
29. 5:43corporate employees not Hollywood actors just people who work for big corporations and have um
30. 5:59especially if they've got presences like you know Tik Tok channels and followers um the companies they work for
31. 6:08are going to start exploiting their likeness and just assume that no one's going to do anything about it I think that's a
32. 6:22business I need an agent Ops or apps I'm not sure how to process the fact you don't have a box over your [Laughter]
33. 6:42shoulder show me the money oh man you definitely keep getting them like six people share them with me
34. 7:10can you explain more about corporate Talent agents okay so yeah that's I did just kind of drop that like where's that coming from so I was
35. 7:21sitting we had we met our last meeting today was up in Ridgefield Connecticut with one of our Pharma clients and and we were sitting with
36. 7:30them and I showed them notebook LM which blew their flipping minds and then showed them our AI tool and showed them our video Persona
37. 7:42product that we put together where we can spin up a Persona a fake person and bring them to life in video and have them tell their
38. 7:50story and they were really intrigued by that and then we talked about um the video Avatar that we made of the school
39. 8:01Master for my co-founders school and that we filmed her once and now when we want to make a video of her we just we
40. 8:10have a GPT that takes a blog post that she wrote turns it into a script and we just turn that into a video and they were like let me see
41. 8:17that and so we showed it to them and the the first thing that actually someone came from outside the office we were in
42. 8:27and was like what's this and the first thing that they said is well we could just make video avatars of our salespeople and
43. 8:40so you know it it's a Pharma client so they're not going to be able to do [ __ ] because of legal and Regulatory and things like that
44. 8:47however over the next two or three years they'll experiment they'll do something and if I were those salese I would start negotiating
45. 9:02my my rights contracts today because what's going to happen is um in the absence of an agreement the corporation's going to come up with the
46. 9:16thing that is most beneficial to them and so I think that these are really nuanced rights I think these are um impossible to predict how
47. 9:27valuable they're going to be I think that Talent agents understand um the value of talent the value of you know someone who
48. 9:41can represent the company well on camera and so I would see the I would see the talent agent being like
49. 9:54um let's say let's say that the Talon agent signs salesperson Bob and reaches out and says hey Bob Bob
50. 10:05loves working for you but Bob would like to negotiate the use of his likeness moving forward and put some sort of deal in
51. 10:17place and then once that deal is negotiated have Bob tell all the other sales people and then talent agent signs
52. 10:26up more of those salese and cuts them deals too or maybe you find them all first and you go to a big company and
53. 10:34you say hey I've got 30 of your 40 Talent OR sales reps um would like to be compensated if you ever use their likeness for automated
54. 10:52sales forgive me if you've already covered this but what are your thoughts on AI driven policy you mean government
55. 11:01policy oh AI driven like AI created policy I think that in the right hands of someone that knows what they're doing with prompting
56. 11:14and is is a good critical thinker Aid driven policy could be absolutely [ __ ] remarkable I mean it effectively can't
57. 11:24get worse than what the humans have done with it you know anthropic has they've got what's called a constitutional learning
58. 11:35model the way their their model improves is they've got a set of rules and when it generates an answer it measures that answer against
59. 11:45it against its constitutional rules and so it's constantly improving its answers based on those imperatives
60. 11:52and they're things like you know don't harm humans and amplify value and and whatever the whatever those rules are
61. 11:59are and so the content that it creates amplify all that stuff and so I could see there being a variation of that
62. 12:12where you know you say things like we don't want corruption we don't want grifting we do want policy that balance
63. 12:26you know the rights and needs of everyone and we want to understand how you made the decision you made we may
64. 12:36not agree with the decision that you made but we can at least look at how you made that decision okay we waited the imperatives in our
65. 12:46constitution in the following ways and then this issue had the following rules and we weighed them against you
66. 12:56know the imperatives and based on that passing the law came out at 52.7% and not passing it came out at 47.2
67. 13:08and as the Constitution says unless we have a 55% pass it we send it back to the legislators or whatever or I'm going to
68. 13:19go rewrite it until it hits that 55% threshold so it couldn't possibly get worse than what's happening now in my
69. 13:32opinion can you recommend a platform for a resume not really I I um there are pro if you go to futur pedia.com
70. 13:46paste your existing resume or your LinkedIn profile into chat GPT and just have it tell it to write you a really
71. 13:53you know well structured resume and it it'll do pretty good I know I will always have to look over the
72. 14:02contract yeah well I think I think you know before we you know put anything into law sure yeah we should look over the
73. 14:10contract before we legislate with it but I think that I think that it could be quite remarkable at it Joker thinks he has a resume GPT so

79. 14:53into a Google search it'll give you a list of links what chat GPT does actually answers the questions I could be that

83. 15:46policy that' be fun I trust Ai and watch the votes pile up as well as the the the threats AI evil you you're not going to vote for

86. 16:28Poss possibly be worse I trust AI to right policy way more than Young YouTube guys and bow ties who worship an ran you know exactly
87. 16:42like I mean that's that's the thing like if you take the reasoning engine as as it currently exists and you say in
88. 16:53order to pass legislation you've got to do all this research and you've got to s syze all that research and then you've got to
89. 17:00weigh it against this rule set the set of imperatives and then you've got to produce you know reports that we can
90. 17:08review and then you've got to make recommendations and then we're going to give you feedback and based on the
91. 17:12feedback we give you you're going to consolidate all that feedback and you're going to amend the laws and then you're going to measure
92. 17:21that amended law against the imperatives and improve them and make recommendations back to us and you do three rounds of that you'll have
93. 17:29bulletproof legislation how will AI interpret or understand religion I just did it the other night Mr it I did it last night
94. 17:39well it wasn't really religion but I had to take the top the top five philosophical Frameworks and the bottom five
95. 17:54philosophical Frameworks and I said identify the five weakest points in the top five and the five strongest points
96. 18:04in the bottom five and then create me a new philosophical framework that's a hybrid of the best and the worst of of the worst of the
97. 18:15best and the best of the worst philosophical Frameworks and it came up with a [ __ ] kickass philosophical
98. 18:22framework it was really good I forget what it's was called it was it was uh it doesn't matter I don't know if anyone

114. 21:39understanding AI is really good at Nuance humans aren't so I think AI would understand the ignorant bigoted religious person
115. 21:50better than the ignorant bigoted religious person would understand AI do I have something on my chin no oh look

117. 22:08dumb question all right Eric we'll be the judge of that is there a compatibility Matrix between models and
118. 22:16and embedding models trying to design a system I don't quite know what you mean I think each model's got its own embedding
119. 22:29tool API so so and not all of them reveal their embedding API so it relies heavily on what you want to
120. 22:39do I don't I don't know a I I know very little about the open source World other than it's really complicated and it's it
121. 22:46makes my head hurt trying to keep up with it um so I don't and then for the biggies you know I would just go look at the
122. 22:56documentation right I would go look at CLA I would go look at perplexity has an API open AI has an API
123. 23:07um and all all of them likely have some sort of embedding model but if they don't they don't but I don't know like
124. 23:14it might be possible you can embed [ __ ] with open AI that you can use in cla's API but I I I I I ain't got I ain't got book
125. 23:25learning so your question was smarter than my capacity to answer it Eric they really don't talk to each other yeah that's what I

161. 30:15perplexity do research in perplexity and then take all that research into sorry the eyes are drying up take all that re
162. 30:25research from perplexity and paste it into one preview the reasoning model and then tell 01 to um analyze all of the
163. 30:37research and write a kickass newsletter or use gp4 o with canvas and do the same thing that's already connected to the internet so
164. 30:51there you can just say you know make me a newsletter article about this topic and go research the latest articles
165. 30:57about it and have it write it and then just have it give you citations and you can just edit it right in that canvas
166. 31:04window if if if you're here and haven't used the new canvas feature in GPT it's really good chat GPT I saw an AI powered tool to estimate
167. 31:14Home Improvement repairs and projects I have not yet tried it um Talk To Source Camp she does that just with chat GPT um
168. 31:22in in in like a remarkable way like I think she took a a drawing of a a floor plan and uploaded it chat GPT and said
169. 31:31estimate the drywall I need and estimate the number of you know wall switches and [ __ ] like that that I need it does it pretty

171. 31:48this afternoon when we were driving up to Ridgefield and I think I think I'm still paying a subscription to Korea although that

188. 35:39get uh and then have it have it talk about five different resumé styles that are the most effective and then have it
189. 35:45write you the favorite one that you find Kyle maybe talk about canvas yeah and so there's there's also gp4 o just added a new version called
190. 35:58GPT 40 with canvas so you can do the same thing I just described write me a resume based on all this input and it'll
191. 36:07write it in a separate side window where you got the chat on one side and the canvas on the other that canvas is now
192. 36:14editable so you could go through your resume and say make this sound sexier you know shorten this up lengthen this
193. 36:21things like that so yeah that might be good to do chat GPT made my CV very bad or listen to Pate don't use chat [Laughter]

220. 41:49egos so all right what works would happen is you end up in the no food list although my radiologist must have used AI today for a reading

692. 2:33:10deepmind um and that paper introduced this concept of the Transformer and the Transformer basically allows you to give
693. 2:33:19it a bunch of data and it it deconstructs that data and throws it into many many dimensional mathematical
694. 2:33:28space where all points of data these things called tokens live at some point in mathematical space and when you give
695. 2:33:35it a prompt it generates a probability of which token comes next and so so that's sort of the base technology that a lot of this generative
696. 2:33:46AI stuff like chat GPT and Claude and perplexity and all these different tools are using Gemini um rag is called retrieval
697. 2:33:58augmented generation and that's where you're taking you know data documents and you embed them in such a way that your chat GPT large
698. 2:34:11language model can basically query those documents and so you can ask for very specific data like like someone's
699. 2:34:20insurance number or whatever it might be and pull that back into the chat and then it gives you a combination of a
700. 2:34:26large language model chat with some specific data from the retrieval the vector database so it's like it's like mini
701. 2:34:37embeddings mini mini mini large language models Mini Mini data models so they're different but yeah that's what trans the T in GPT is
702. 2:34:50Transformer that's that technology each point has a distance and an angle yeah exactly it's becoming more certain that
