51. 9:36so I just tried this and didn't think it would work and then it did this hi so I'd like to um have you uh
52. 9:47translate everything I say into Japanese so when I say something in English please repeat it directly back in Japanese okay

73. 13:40emotional standpoint is almost identical to the early days of the web it's it's a bit more exciting and there's a weird
74. 13:46overhang with the a AI stuff where there's a lot of people angry about it and there's a lot of people very afraid
75. 13:52of it and Hollywood there's been a lot of movies about it so everyone's got all these precon receive Notions and then
76. 13:59when you start playing with it you're like oh it's not really that oh but it's kind of cool oh my God it's
77. 14:04amazing so it's it's we're an amazing time so I'm happy to talk about anything uh which AI is best for authors for
78. 14:11ghost writing um chat GPT so let me let me let me go through some slides so what I'm going to recommend is get ready to do some
79. 14:21screenshotting if you're on a Samsung S21 22 23 maybe 24 I don't know how many there are now but I think starting at
80. 14:31S21 for whatever reason they don't let you screenshot when you're in Al live but you can screenshot when you're in
81. 14:37your timeline so I think just back out of the live I'm going to show a bunch of different sites that you should go
82. 14:45explore and it's just easier than writing [ __ ] down all right [Laughter] so okay okay so this is what I call the
83. 15:00adults table these are the top three um what are they called uh large language models the top three kind of
84. 15:09chat GPT things so the top one chat. open.com if you're just getting started with this stuff if you're like I don't
85. 15:15know where to start Kyle Kyle what do I do everyone seems so excited you seem very excited are you okay did you take a
86. 15:24pill is that what's happening here if you're like that you just don't you know have no context for why the hell you're
87. 15:31here the hell I'm talking about but you're like but I think this AI stuff something I got to deal with okay perfect just go there chat.
88. 15:40open.com that's chat GPT it's the best they've got a free version and a paid version I'll talk about the paid version
89. 15:47in a bit I think it's worth paying for the paid version by a lot but Sam hasn't given me my stupid features cuz there's
90. 15:56new features coming and they're going to be great B Bard b.google.r which is a big good thing um chat GPT is
91. 16:07also reconnected to the internet after like four months off three months off but they haven't given me that back
92. 16:14either so I'm bitter about that too but Bard is connected to the internet um and it's going to get dramatically better
93. 16:21probably within a matter of weeks so it's worth paying attention to Claude is chat gpt's biggest comp competitor you
94. 16:29can put in really large documents or really large prompts into it and just start chatting with them for example you
95. 16:35could put the entire Great Gatsby book into Claude and ask it to write an epilogue and it will all right
96. 16:44so those are the big three that's the adult table you're like well if there's an adult table there's got to be a kids
97. 16:50table oh yeah kids table um Microsoft's entry into this is called uh Bing chat so chat. bing.com that's gp4 it's
98. 17:02connected to the internet and I'm about to show you something fraking miraculous because we can play with Dolly 3 right
99. 17:09now today today today today all right so you got to hang out though cuz I'm going to force you to watch a bunch of [ __ ]
100. 17:18here um Pi is what we call chatty GPT but now chat GPT you can also talk to so you now have two large language models
101. 17:27that you can have conversations with pi is designed for that chat GPT not as much but it looks like it's pretty good
102. 17:33and apparently it can just translate into whatever language you want um perplexity doai on its own is really
103. 17:42good so it's worth exploring for like citations and research and things like that but labs. perplexity let lets you
104. 17:48play with meta llama models and then you have po.com which just added a webbot so so po.com all of their large language
105. 17:57models are now connected to the internet as well or no there's a bot that's connected to the internet that I think
106. 18:02is on their large language models the other ones are not whatever doesn't matter worth playing with Okay good Lord but then you're like
107. 18:11Kyle this isn't just about words is it no pretty pictures you want to make pretty pictures I want to make

114. 19:07Journey or Dolly 3 make a slick image and then put it into Runway ml U and it'll make a video um hey

136. 22:59YouTube channel called 4ir so fourth industrial revolution. david. Shapiro he's doing all sorts of stuff
137. 23:08with AGI cognitive architectures open- sourcing them brilliant guy does two or three presentations a week that will
138. 23:18melt your face and then Paul rer he's got the marketing AI Institute has been talking about this generative AI stuff
139. 23:24for like 5 years which is staggering because we've only known about it for like a year and a half tops he's been
140. 23:32doing it for five years so he's he's deep in the game okay so that's that um this is coming up next Wednesday starts
141. 23:41um a workshop that I'm doing in conjunction with another Creator so it's her her community but it's it's a workshop for
142. 23:49creatives um called the AI Launchpad it's 32-hour sessions over 3 weeks starting next Wednesday it's it's
143. 23:55Wednesday the 4th the 11th and the 18th um we're going to start out with basic AI overview then we're going to do
144. 24:03applying AI to your work and then we're going to do Advanced AI stuff in the third one so that information is at
