8:30 basically what you do is you sign up
8:32 with your current plan and then you
8:34 either use Venmo or PayPal and they give
8:37 you a year for free and then they give
8:40 you immediate access. You basically jump
8:42 the line to be able to get the
8:44 Perplexity browser which if you don't
8:46 know what the the Comet browser and if
8:49 you don't know what that is, it's
8:51 basically um a Chromiumbased browser. So
8:54 it functions like Chrome. It can use
8:57 Chrome extensions, all that sort of
8:59 stuff, except it's got this built-in
9:01 sidebar that is Perplexity,
9:04 and it can go search stuff for you and
9:08 interact with all of your tabs. So, if
9:10 you're logged into your Gmail, you could
9:12 have it go search your Gmail and, I
9:14 don't know, find out who you who you
9:17 could have responded to more eloquently.
9:25 Um, could you vibe code a way to share
9:28 Tik Tok and YouTube comments with each
9:31 other like in a Discord server or
9:33 something? Oh, that's an interesting
9:35 idea.

14:51 rambling tonight, one of the purposes of

14:58 we're all in the AI conversation on a
15:01 regular basis that we're just keeping
15:04 engaged. Keep engaged. Keep engaged.

15:08 exploring, keep playing, keep building,
15:13 keep asking questions, keep sharing what
15:15 you're learning. And that's the the
15:18 whole purpose of the of the AI salon is
15:21 that. And so, and that's that's what
15:23 we're going to do here. So, one of the
15:25 one of my requests is as we play
15:28 tonight, one of the things I'm going to
15:29 show you, I'm going to show you some new
15:31 midjourney stuff, and I'm going to show
15:32 you some new ideoggram stuff. I want you
15:34 to create really cool images and share
15:36 them in irregulars. You can also share
15:38 them. There's a channel up in the

15:43 Made. If you made something that you're
15:45 particularly proud of, share it in Look
15:47 What I Made. Um and let other people
15:49 know what you're up to. All right? And
15:51 then what what may happen is someone
15:53 might like it or they might say, "Hey,

15:56 should tell them. One of the things that
15:59 we talk about in the AI salon is what we
16:01 call the cycle of AI readiness.
16:05 And it's this. Play first, mindfully
16:09 create, generously lead.

16:15 Um, play first is obvious, but it's not
16:18 obvious. What a lot of people do with AI
16:20 is they're like, "I got to learn AI."
16:23 And they and they talk like that and
16:25 they make that face. I got to learn AI.
16:28 I don't know why they talk like that.
16:29 And I don't know why they make that
16:30 face, but it's it's going to stay like
16:33 that if they keep talking about AI like
16:35 that. One of the ways you make learning
16:38 AI not
16:40 dreadful

16:43 is you play.
16:45 Just go play. Just go play with [ __ ] If
16:49 someone said, "Oh, this is a cool tool."
16:51 Go play with it. You You can figure out
16:53 if it's cool or not. Just go play. Zero
16:56 expectations.
16:58 And what will happen when you play is
17:00 you will discover that AI can do things
17:02 that you never thought were possible and
17:04 it will blow your [ __ ] mind. We call
17:06 that your first Kevin Mallister moment
17:10 right from Home Alone. Um AI is full of
17:13 that [ __ ] So go play. And then
17:15 mindfully create is once you've learned
17:17 some things now try to build something.
17:19 Try to solve a problem. Try to create a
17:21 kids book. do some challenging thing at
17:25 work that your boss asked for and take
17:28 the things you've learned and combine it
17:29 into that and overd deliver in a shorter
17:32 amount of time.
17:35 And then the third
17:38 step in the cycle of AI readiness is
17:40 generously lead. And what that looks
17:42 like is join a community like the AI
17:45 salon. What that looks like is learn out
17:48 loud. Tell people what you're working
17:50 on. Tell people what you've learned.
17:53 Tell people this amazing result you got.
17:56 Tell people this shitty result you got.
17:59 Like just learn out loud. Because what
18:01 it does is it establishes you as someone
18:03 who's thinking critically
18:06 about AI. And it'll establish you um as
18:10 an expert even though you will not feel
18:12 like one. No one no one is an expert
18:14 right now. Everyone's trying to figure
18:15 this [ __ ] out. So okay.

20:29 have paired up and we are co-eing
20:33 um a prototyping sprint that starts next
20:36 Tuesday. So if you're a me a member of
20:38 the AI salon mastermind which through

21:40 the next four weeks, starting next

21:44 we're going to work on prototyping up a
21:46 a micro course on whatever you want to
21:48 teach. So, you could teach something in
21:51 AI, you could teach something at the
21:52 community center, but we're going to use
21:54 AI to prototype up that course and
21:57 create presentations and outlines and
21:59 all the stuff that you would need to do
22:00 to put together a course. Cindy Coon's

22:06 there is the eye candy.

23:33 my book. So, if if you're an irregular
23:37 here, if you've come here before, I I've
23:39 been working on a book called Feed Your
23:41 Prompt.
23:42 And I'm working with a branding
23:45 organization that helps put these kind
23:47 of things together and market it and do
23:49 all sorts of cool things like that. It's
23:50 very exciting.
23:52 And we've been struggling to find a
23:54 tangible hook.
23:57 every time I think I have something
23:59 tangible,
24:00 it's like, nah, that's not really
24:02 tangible. It's still esoteric. And like
24:04 like the latest one I came up with was,
24:06 you know, if if you learn to feed your
24:08 prompt, you can 10x 10x the impact of
24:11 your ideas. And and the feedback was
24:14 like, no, it's still just esoteric. So,
24:16 we were having a conversation today and
24:19 we were we were kind of talking in
24:20 circles around what the hook could be.
24:23 And at one point I was talking about,
24:25 you know, when you when you learn to
24:28 um
24:30 you know, when you when you learn to
24:31 prompt, right, it's like you have a
24:33 10person team.
24:36 And the the the main dude there, Steve,
24:39 was like, "That's it." And he he just
24:42 jumped on it. He's like, "10erson team?"
24:44 He goes, "That's tangible." Um and so
24:47 that's going to be the new name of the
24:48 book is your 10 person team. And then
24:51 it's going to be if you learn to feed
24:52 your prompt like a producer, you'll
24:55 transform AI from a tool into your team.
25:00 And all of a sudden, like everything
25:02 came together for me.
25:08 Feed your prompt is still the is still
25:10 the by line. Correct. and and the the
25:12 sort of core ideas behind feed your
25:14 prompt are still there, but but it
25:17 really is this idea of of you become the
25:20 producer, right? You become like the
25:24 person that is holding the vision for
25:27 the project. You're the one that has the
25:29 idea. You're the one that determines
25:31 what good is. And then your team is all
25:34 of these different ways that AI can
25:36 support your idea. So, just like a
25:38 producer has musicians in this corner
25:41 and a singer in that corner and the
25:43 engineer on the mixing board in front of
25:45 front of them,
25:47 their job, Rick Rubin's job is to just
25:50 go, do I like it or not? Right? And kind
25:52 of know, ah, let's let's get some more
25:54 strings, right? Let's get less strings.
25:57 Nah, that didn't work. Let's go back to
25:58 the old way. Can we bring in a bass
26:00 earlier?
26:03 And all of a sudden, everything starts
26:04 to feel like it it comes in. Did someone
26:06 say producer? Exactly. Exactly.

26:22 these producers famous? Well, because
26:24 they learned how to wield their team,
26:27 right? The team of talent
26:30 in a way to get a really good result.
26:32 They're the holder of the vision. And
26:35 and when you use AI, right, that's the
26:37 way it works. You're the holder of the
26:39 vision
26:41 and then your 10person team is okay, I
26:43 need a business strategist and I need a
26:45 a project manager and I need a creative
26:47 director and I need someone to go do
26:49 some research and see if this idea is
26:52 original or interesting or maybe
26:54 someone's already doing it better than I
26:55 am.
26:57 Right? So, you build this team around
26:59 you.
27:01 And what's cool about it is it can be
27:03 like pickup basketball where you put
27:05 together a team really quickly. Like you
27:07 just go into the AI and you're like,
27:08 "Oh, I want to do this and oh wait, let
27:10 me go do some research." Fire up a new
27:12 instance of chat GBT, have it go do some
27:14 deep research, come back, right? You're
27:17 the producer. You're in the center seat
27:19 holding the vision. So anyway, so I
27:22 wanted to share that. So 10person team
27:25 or your 10p person team is going to be
27:26 the name of the book. feed your prompt
27:28 is going to be in the by line and it's
27:30 still going to have the mouth. I had an
27:32 idea. So, we've got the mouth with the
27:33 prompt inside it. Wonder if I have that
27:36 anywhere.

28:36 the the prompt mouth is still going to
28:38 be there, but above it are going to be
28:40 the 10 people on your team.
28:43 So, it'll be your 10person team and then
28:45 I'm going to have, you know, probably
28:47 Nano Banana or maybe Chat GPT
28:51 um generate like, you know, a business
28:53 strategist and a creative director and
28:55 right, we'll have all these different
28:56 characters that are your 10erson team
28:59 and then we'll we'll have, you know,
29:01 feed your prompt like a producer and
29:02 transform AI from a tool into your team.

1:29:15 should go over to Suno and I should make
1:29:17 my own song.
1:29:20 And then maybe I should have that
1:29:21 magician say something. Or maybe there's
1:29:23 a voice over. So then maybe I go to 11
1:29:25 Labs or Cartisian and I design a voice.
1:29:27 And then I write a script. Or I have
1:29:29 Chat GBT write a script. I have Claude
1:29:32 write a script because I like the way
1:29:33 Claude writes better than Chat GPT
1:29:38 and then I know enough about
1:29:39 storytelling to put it together in some
1:29:41 sort of editing software
1:29:45 and before you know it you have a video.
1:29:50 That chain of intent, that chain of
1:29:53 direction,
1:29:54 chain of craft, that chain of activities
