3/21/2025 - Stunning Visuals Created with Midjourney, Sora and Lumalabs

Live Stream2025-03-221:58:01125 views
Description
This lively discussion explored the exciting and sometimes frustrating world of AI video and audio generation tools. The speaker experimented with several platforms, including Sora, Luma Labs, and Pika, showcasing their capabilities and limitations. While Sora offered intriguing, sometimes spooky, results, it proved unreliable. Luma Labs excelled in audio generation but struggled with realistic character animation, leading to a humorous quest to make an insect walk. Pika's new features were also explored, with mixed success.
Kyle Shannon highlighted the rapid pace of AI development, the challenge of keeping up with new features, and the need to jump between different tools to achieve desired results. Producer Brandon also shared a personal project: creating a Chrome extension that uses AI to analyze terms of service. This demonstrated the power of "vibe coding" to quickly bring ideas to life, even for non-programmers.
Beyond AI tools, the discussion touched on other intriguing topics. The recent discovery of extensive substructures beneath the pyramids in Egypt sparked a lively debate about their purpose, ranging from ritualistic chambers to more imaginative theories. News of George Foreman's passing led to a darkly humorous aside about grill sales. Finally, the speaker promoted upcoming AI Salon events, including a session on demystifying AI and a learn-out-loud on Midjourney, encouraging viewers to engage further with the AI community.

0:01 [Music] 0:23 A heart on a 0:26 run. A heart on a run keeps a hand on a 0:31 gun. You can't trust anyone. 0:37 Well, I was so sure what I needed was 0:41 more. Tried to shoot out the 0:46 sun. In the days when we raged, we flew 0:50 off the page. Such damage was done. 0:55 [Music] 0:57 But I made it through cuz somebody knew 1:01 I was meant for 1:03 [Music] 1:07 someone. So girl, leave your boots by 1:10 the bed. We ain't leaving this 1:13 [Music] 1:16 room till someone needs your help for 1:21 the 1:22 magnolia blue. 1:24 [Music] 1:27 It's cold in this house and we ain't 1:30 going out to chop 1:34 wood. So cover me up and know you're 1:39 enough to use me for good. 1:44 [Music] 1:55 Put your faith to the test. I tore off 1:59 your dress enrichment on 2:04 high. Well, I so good up swore off that 2:09 stuff forever this 2:14 time. Your love will sing. I thought 2:18 it'd be me who helped you get 2:24 home. But home was a dream, one that I'd 2:28 never seen till you came 2:31 [Music] 2:33 [Applause] 2:34 along. So go ahead and boots by the bed. 2:39 We had to dress up to dry. We ain't 2:42 leaving this room. 2:47 to the priest breaks open wide and a 2:51 river runs 2:56 through. Carries this house like the 2:59 stones like a piece of 3:04 driftwood. So cover me up and know your 3:09 love to leave me for good. 3:13 [Music] 3:18 Friday night, date night. Good day, good 3:20 people. What is happening? What is 3:22 happening out there in the world? We are 3:25 singing. Well, the dog is 3:28 singing. I am struggling to keep 3:33 up. I know nearly all the words of three 3:40 songs. Oh man. 3:44 champ. Get your nachos 3:48 together. If you have a dirty 3:51 [Music] 3:53 microwave, find yourself a hot pocket, 3:56 get it in the sleeve and make that thing 4:00 scalding hot in the middle and frozen on 4:02 the outside. 4:03 [Music] 4:27 Woohoo! Woohoo! 4:32 [Music] 4:44 No, 4:47 no, 4:49 [Music] 4:52 no. You a good boy. Are you a good 4:55 doggy? A That's a good doggy. Oh, that's 4:58 a good doggy. Oh, you did some good 5:00 singing tonight. Yeah, I did some good 5:02 singing 5:04 tonight. All right, that doggy has done 5:07 his job. Hot pockets not allowed in the 5:13 microwave. Source camp's on time 5:15 tonight. What 5:17 happened? There's a wrinkle in the time 5:20 space continuum. 5:22 [Music] 5:37 She came on to him like slow moving cold 5:45 front. His bill his his bill his bill 5:49 was warm. 5:53 [Music] 6:01 All right. I think the universe is 6:03 telling me to shut the [ __ ] up with the 6:04 singing. 6:06 [Music] 6:09 Um, it's not April 21st. Oh. Oh. 6:14 Well, I don't think I can change the 6:16 name of the live now. Can I? Can I? 6:19 Maybe I can. Oh, let's see. 6:25 32125. Let's see if we can change it 6:29 midstream. This This could I could hose 6:32 the uh I could hose the live right now, 6:34 everyone. So, just bear with me for a 6:37 [Laughter] 6:39 second. Three. No, that's four. That's 6:43 three. Save 6:45 changes. LinkedIn doesn't support 6:47 updating streams yet. If you need to 6:49 make a change, you'll need to delete 6:50 this stream and create a new one. 6:56 [Laughter] 6:59 Dang it. Damn 7:01 it. Well, we've got a we've got a 7:04 metadata issue on the on the 21st of 7:09 March. I think we fixed it for 7:12 uh for not uh LinkedIn, but I don't 7:15 know. Doesn't 7:17 matter. Um it's like Y2K. Exactly. 7:22 I'll try to find this recording two 7:24 years from now. I'll be like, "Where's 7:26 where's March 21st? That was such a good 7:28 night. It's not anywhere to be 7:33 found." Hey, Scoob. Scoob, what are we 7:37 going to do? Um, Brandon called me at 7:39 home to tell me to be on time for real. 7:42 That's That's a That's a producer. 7:44 That's a producer who cares. Calls the 7:47 irregulars one by one to make sure 7:50 they're going to be there. 7:51 [Music] 7:55 get updated on YouTube. Oh, okay. Good. 7:57 That's that's actually the most 7:58 important place. So, that's awesome. 8:02 [Music] 8:25 jump up there. Is my coat in your way? 8:27 Just jump on it. All 8:29 right. Um, so there is some good news. 8:32 Well, we're in the future. We sure are. 8:34 We sure as hell are, man. It's uh 8:37 stuff's just getting cuckoo. Um, I did 8:40 want to show you all this because I 8:41 think you'll dig it. 8:44 Um remember when Sora was all the rage 8:47 and then it by the time it came out all 8:49 the other video platforms had taken 8:51 over. Um OpenAI today just made Sora um 8:56 unlimited for paid users. It it was 8:59 unlimited for pro users. Uh but now it's 9:02 unlimited. If you pay 20 bucks a month, 9:04 you have unlimited video creation. This 9:07 is a big deal because there hasn't been 9:09 free video creation or or like 20 buck a 9:12 month video creation that's been 9:13 unlimited. It's always like uh 9:16 generation takes four years. Yeah, it 9:18 might take a long time, 9:21 but that's pretty 9:24 [Music] 9:28 cool. So, if you've been sitting on the 9:31 sidelines with video bitching about it 9:33 like, I don't it cost me too much money. 9:36 is $38 per 9:38 minute. Well, now you got no excuses. 9:42 Got no excuses. So, does that mean we're 9:44 actually going to use Sora tonight? Huh? 9:47 Well, we could. You know, it's probably 9:50 not a bad 9:51 idea. Probably not a bad idea. Maybe 9:54 what we'll do is we'll 9:55 do maybe I'll flip back and forth 9:58 between Runway Sora and Luma. We'll take 10:01 the same 10:02 prompt. And I think Sora does uh image 10:06 image upload, 10:08 right? Do they storyboard? Oh, they've 10:11 got storyboard. Storyboard's kind of 10:13 cool. I haven't used this in for [ __ ] 10:16 ever. 724 times slower, 480p 10:19 fastest. Um, yeah. So, maybe we'll play 10:22 with 10:23 Sora. Boy, I haven't played with this. 10:26 Like I I've this is all the videos I've 10:31 made because the other tools frankly are 10:34 better. They're just better. They're 10:35 just more better. Kyle, will you be 10:39 paying for Pro Chat GPT again or back to 10:42 20? Uh Steo, I think I'm going to go 10:43 back to 20 bucks a month because um 20 10:46 bucks a month now has deep research. 10:49 It's got 4.5. It's got unlimited Sora. 10:54 Um, I'm not really using 01 Pro 10:57 reasoning 10:59 engine enough to justify it. So, I think 11:01 I'll drop back to 20 bucks a 11:05 month. That or I might do the $20,000 a 11:09 month when that comes out 11:13 because I want to be able to say I've 11:16 got a $20,000 a month robot working for 11:19 me. 11:21 [Music] 11:33 And if you hadn't heard that, that's not 11:34 a joke. They're actually thinking about 11:36 a $20,000 a month subscription. 11:39 [Music] 11:49 Oh, and Mammoth Mannis today came out 11:53 with either video or audio generation. 11:56 Hang on a sec. Let me let me flip over 11:59 to 11:59 uh to Y Old X. Does anybody know which 12:03 one they 12:06 did? I'll be that $20,000 robot for 12:09 someone. I have my 12:13 subscription for chat GPT for my office 12:16 and Claude for web apps. That's cool. 12:18 And 12:19 Lovable. Um I did I reached out to 12:22 Lovable and asked them if they had, you 12:24 know, like a creative partner program 12:26 and I actually got a response today that 12:28 they're putting one together and they're 12:30 they're uh they're considering me. So 12:34 that would be swell because then we 12:35 could do lovable [ __ ] completely. 12:38 Um, this thing's cool. This thing that's 12:41 on screen right now. So, this is Lionus 12:43 uh Ekinstam. Um, he he does a lot of 12:46 stuff with AI. 12:48 So, if you haven't been paying 12:50 attention, there's a there's a thing 12:51 called in Claude called MCPs, 12:55 uh, 12:56 machine control machine computer 12:59 protocol or machine control protocol, 13:02 but it's basically where you can you can 13:05 create a server that that allows Claude 13:08 to interface with apps on your computer. 13:11 And so, someone created one for Ableton, 13:13 the, you know, the really complicated 13:15 digital audio workstation. and you can 13:18 just describe a song like8s techno beat 13:21 and it'll [ __ ] create it. So, this is 13:26 one of the things that I've been most 13:27 excited about with AI is that in the end 13:32 AI will just become a simplica 13:34 simplification layer for everything, all 13:36 the complicated systems that that we 13:38 have to deal with right now. Um, and MCP 13:41 you're starting to see that. Uh, so they 13:44 they did one for Unity, now they've done 13:46 one for Ableton. So that's pretty cool. 13:49 Um, but let me see what Manis released 13:52 today because it caught me off guard. I 13:54 was like, "Oh, that's 13:56 interesting." 14:02 U Manis text to 14:06 speech. Vocalize X. Manis text to speech 14:10 is here. Create audiobooks, mini 14:13 podcasts, and your own texttospech 14:16 website with 14:18 Manis. Okay. Where are our 14:21 codes? 14:23 Uh, no access code. Maybe it's not 14:26 available 14:29 yet. Text to speech is here. Vocalize 14:34 X. Um, let's go look at that. 14:39 Vocalize X.AI. AI or im 14:43 maybe vocalize 14:48 X.Mim. 14:50 No, Vocalize 14:56 X.AI is chat GPT. Oh, Vocalize 15:01 AI. Oh, I spelled it wrong. Hang on. 15:06 Vocalize X.AI. 15:09 AI. No. 15:13 Try.com. 15:18 COM. 15:20 No. All right. I don't know what it is. 15:22 Let's go to Manis and see if it's there. 15:24 Manis. 15:37 [Music] 15:43 I do not see it. I do not see it 15:47 anywhere. Oh, hey Mark. Oh, 15:51 hi. I got nothing. Explore more use 15:54 cases knowledge. Official website 15:58 feedback. Official website use cases. 16:04 Nope. Nothing. So, I don't know. I don't 16:08 know what it 16:09 is. Vaporware. Vaporware. And then Pika. 16:13 Pika seems to just be dropping. Oh, 16:16 maybe we'll do Pika 16:21 tonight. It's so complicated, people. 16:24 You can't just have fun 16:28 anymore. Um Tom Nodler, how do you all 16:32 been a few days? Hope you all been doing 16:34 great. You too, Tom. Great to see you. 16:37 Archetypal is in 16:39 there. Who else we got? Dragonfly 16:41 Alchemy. I got access to Manis. Been 16:43 waiting for days off to test it. Yeah, 16:47 just fire that bad boy up at work and 16:49 let it go crank for you. But I do notice 16:52 I do notice during the 16:54 day, it was funny in the in the early 16:57 days of the web um the London office of 17:02 agency.com. Um what was it? It was 5 17:06 hours later, 2 p.m. in the afternoon. 17:10 They nicknamed 2 p.m. in the afternoon 17:13 America wakes up because their internet 17:15 would slow down. you know, they'd wake 17:17 up at 17:18 9ine and then when, you know, nine 17:21 o'clock hit New York, it would totally 17:22 [ __ ] up their internet. So, I've noticed 17:26 during the day that Manis is very slow 17:28 and it's it's uh its computer dies a 17:34 lot. I think that's on the Americans. 17:36 The Americans who have access to it that 17:38 are overusing it during the 17:40 day. Hey, Kyle, don't you love how many 17:43 website suffixes there are now? Oh, what 17:45 are you just trying to get me off on a 17:47 [ __ ] 17:50 rant? 17:57 XYZ.ai.co.com. It's really [ __ ] 17:59 annoying. 18:01 [Music] 18:23 It really breaks my 18:26 heart. See a dear old 18:29 friend down to that one place 18:33 [Music] 18:35 again. Silver Fox. I'm impressed with 18:38 Manis until it does die eventually at 18:40 critical moments every time. It totally 18:42 dies every time. Um, the other thing 18:45 we're going to do tonight is we're going 18:46 to do the 18:48 uh the the grand finale of the Jelly 18:53 Pod 20 18:55 episode podcast 18:58 generation. The 20th episode of 19:02 uh What the Fact? What the 19:05 fact? Yeah. Season 19:08 [Music] 19:16 one dot college even. I'm waiting for 19:19 dot 19:20 dot. Dot dot would somehow be better 19:23 than than everything else. Dot dot's at 19:25 least funny. 19:27 [Music] 19:49 That didn't sound like guitar chords, 19:50 did it? That just sounded like I'm 19:53 strumming. Strumming chords. Chords. 19:56 Chords. Chords. Chords. All right, let's 19:58 go look at let's go look at X a little 20:01 bit here and see if there's anything new 20:02 and 20:04 exciting. Uh uh uh uh uh 20:10 uh oh, I saw something cool today 20:17 tonight. This is [ __ ] 20:20 wild. I I I I haven't read the paper 20:23 enough to actually know what it says. 20:26 So, 20:28 um, OpenAI put out a paper. Oh, no. 20:31 Google. No, it was not OpenAI. It was 20:34 Google. 20:35 Google 20:39 Brain. Uh, yeah. 20:44 Um, this 20:46 thing. So Google inspired by the success 20:51 of LLMs, they basically figured out that 20:55 how how the brain 20:59 does speech to text basically how we 21:03 listen to things and convert that into 21:05 words is very very similar to how models 21:10 like whisper take speech and convert it 21:12 to words. that that I think one of the 21:17 reasons these things are feeling more 21:19 human than we think they should 21:21 considering that they're 21:24 calculators is that it's kind of how our 21:26 brains work. And this is this has been 21:28 my contention for a long time. People 21:29 are like, "Oh, it's a plagiarism machine 21:32 and it, you know, it steals from other 21:33 people's work." Well, no, it kind of 21:36 works like our brains work. It learns a 21:38 bunch of abstracts, breaks them into 21:40 semantic concepts, gets stored in our 21:43 gray matter, and then we want when we 21:45 want to have an idea, it sort of reaches 21:47 into all those fragments of thoughts and 21:50 smashes a bunch of them together to come 21:52 up with an idea, which is [ __ ] what 21:55 these things 21:56 do. So, apparently there's now paper out 22:00 on it. Um, it's not all of large 22:02 language models. It's not across all of 22:04 the functions that they do, but the the 22:06 the speech to text in particular, that 22:09 whisper thing. Um, it looks like it's 22:11 very very similar to what we do, which 22:14 is wild. Absolutely wild. 22:17 [Music] 22:36 All right. So, that was cool. Let's see 22:38 what else we got going on. The old 22:40 Twitter. They call it X now. Oh, yeah. 22:42 Did you see the pyramids, 22:44 man? The pyramids. Underneath one of the 22:48 pyramids, they found 600 meter deep 22:51 cylinders. Eight of them. 22:54 four on each of another like four 400 22:59 meter chambers below the 23:05 cylinders. It's like 2.1 kilometers of 23:09 substructure underneath one of the 23:12 pyramids. [ __ ] bonkers, people. 23:15 [ __ ] bonkers. 23:17 [Music] 23:24 Oh, what else do we have? What else do 23:27 we 23:29 have? What else is happening? Let's see 23:33 if there's anything more 23:39 fun. Oh, wait. Where am I? Oh, I'm in 23:42 search. That's why it was looking 23:46 weird. 23:48 Remember Win 23:51 Amp? That's some good 90s interface for 23:54 you right there. Oh yeah. Tom Isaacs. I 23:57 made 40 domain names today using chat 24:00 GPT for my business. 24:03 Sweet. Are you going to put anything on 24:05 those 24:08 websites? You know what's funny? I 24:10 haven't I I finally gave up on keeping 24:13 most of my websites. I just have a 24:14 handful still. I got screenplays.com. I 24:17 have ask forit.com. I got some good 24:19 ones. But 24:21 um in the past three weeks, I've bought 24:25 three domain names. I haven't bought a 24:27 domain name in I don't 24:29 know, a 24:31 decade. And I bought three in the past 24:33 three weeks because of vibe coding. 24:37 [ __ ] vibe 24:39 coding. Win amp is still being used. 24:50 They did all that with an incline path 24:52 to go 2.1 kilometers 24:56 deep. How big would that hole would have 24:59 had to have been the size of Egypt? They 25:01 couldn't use an incline path for that. 25:03 Although I suppose you could use gravity 25:04 to dig 25:06 down or to drop stones 25:09 [Music] 25:11 down. I know silver fox. Me too. I 25:14 bought I bought 25:17 vibestorytelling.com. I bought the Angle 25:19 News, which if I become a lovable 25:22 creative partner program or ambassador, 25:24 whatever the [ __ ] they call them. That 25:26 one I might actually 25:29 [Music] 25:33 build. Okay, let's get some [ __ ] done. 25:36 Jelly pod. Let's make a jelly pod. So, 25:39 if you don't know, jelly pod is this 25:41 swell 25:44 tool. Oh, what did they add today? They 25:46 added a cool thing today. Um, oh, you 25:50 can add a guest. You can add guests to 25:52 your Jelly Pod thing. So, you basically 25:56 clone someone's voice and then I think 25:59 you have them answer some questions and 26:02 then it basically writes that character 26:04 into your 26:05 podcast. So, we could play with that 26:08 except I don't I've never done it. So, 26:10 I'll probably just waste all of our time 26:13 if I try to do that. 26:16 Um, where is my jelly 26:19 [Music] 26:20 pod? Oh, there it is. 26:23 Okay. You know, it'd be easier to find 26:26 your applications if you didn't have so 26:28 many tabs open. It's also irresponsible 26:31 from a memory management standpoint. Uh, 26:33 there there are a lot of processes that 26:35 are running when when you have multiple 26:37 tabs open. what what what the developers 26:40 recommend is is that you manage your 26:41 tabs down to down to, you know, six, you 26:44 know, if you're kind of radical, maybe 26:46 seven tabs. Uh, and what we recommend is 26:48 is you is you just prune the tabs that 26:50 are not active and uh and and just, you 26:53 know, you know, manage your life, you 26:56 know, as if you had a preffrontal cortex 26:58 that was functioning. That that's our 27:00 recommendation. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All 27:04 right. Fantastic. Bob, tell him what 27:06 he's won. 27:07 Uh yeah, he he hasn't won won anything. 27:11 This isn't a game show. I I don't know 27:13 why I work here. 27:15 I Why am I here? Oh, Bob. Because we 27:19 love you. All right. Fantastic. So, 27:22 we're going to create a new 27:25 episode. Um how we make an episode is we 27:28 go into our chat 27:31 jpai podcasts. By the way, make money. I 27:36 don't know if anyone's ever told you 27:37 that, but you can make money with 27:39 ChatGBT. None of us have figured it out 27:41 yet, but you can. How do I know that? 27:44 There's Tik Tok videos that say if you 27:47 pay them $49 a month, they'll teach you 27:51 how to make 27:56 that. What the fact episodes? Episode 28:00 20. Wigging out when powdered hair ruled 28:03 society. All right. I like it. 28:06 Fantastic. I don't know if Corey 28:08 Sandler's in the house tonight, but 28:09 we're going to use her final 28:16 [Music] 28:21 image. Yeah, I said that earlier there, 28:23 Brandon. You weren't listening. Cloned 28:26 guests. I talked about cloned guests. I 28:28 said that. This This is what happens. 28:31 You know, when you find out when your 28:33 when your producer was off, you know, 28:36 grabbing a Pop-Tart or something like 28:38 that, you find out quick. You find out 28:41 quick. Yeah. This is my Pop-Tart right 28:44 here. 28:47 I got your 28:48 [Laughter] 28:52 Pop-Tart. Oh man, I must be a mas 28:56 masochist paying good money knowing full 28:58 well Kyle doesn't read comments. 29:02 I do read comments when I can when I'm 29:05 not when I'm not in some add hyperfocus 29:09 tunnel. Okay, let's generate our 29:15 outline. Kyle, when is season two coming 29:17 out? We got to watch season We got to 29:19 conclude season one. Oh, by the 29:22 way, if you want a recommendation for uh 29:27 for incredible acting, incredible 29:31 storytelling, incredible 29:33 storytelling. Um, watch Adolescence on 29:36 Netflix. It's four 29:38 episodes and it is it is one of the most 29:45 remarkable it was it's one of the most 29:47 remarkably produced shows I've ever 29:50 seen. But you don't notice why 29:52 initially. And it's the acting is 29:55 [ __ ] impeccable. Like staggeringly 29:58 good. Um, every episode is a single 30:02 camera 30:03 shot. It's 30:06 insane. There are no edits in it. It's 30:10 50 minutes of acting and and the camera 30:15 functions as a character within the show 30:17 because it's just it's insane. It's 30:20 insane. Anyway, if you haven't seen 30:23 that, put that one on your 30:24 list. That show was ducking awesome. It 30:27 looks like Vicki is on her phone 30:30 tonight. Dear Apple, I have never typed 30:33 the word ducking in my entire life. 30:36 Please stop fixing 30:41 it. Okay, sorry. Maybe I just missed it. 30:45 Switching from Tik Tok to YouTube. What 30:47 was the topic from 30:50 yesterday? What was the topic from 30:52 yesterday we wanted to talk about 30:56 today? That's a great question. Producer 31:00 Brandon probably definitely knows that. 31:08 I I'd watch Netflix, but someone 31:10 suggested that I unsubscribe to Netflix 31:12 so I could afford Chat GBT. Huh. Wonder 31:15 who that was. Sorry. 31:19 Well, you know, if you're on chat GPT, 31:21 you should be able should be able to 31:24 figure out how to hack hack a Netflix 31:26 shared 31:29 subscription. Okay, let's go make a 31:31 picture for episode 20, shall we? Like 31:35 all of my all of my realities come back 31:37 to bite me, don't they? Just life is 31:39 life is [ __ ] up, man. All right. Oh, 31:43 that's nice. Powdered wigs. Lovely. when 31:45 powdered wigs ruled their I think it was 31:47 Instagram avatars. No, it was not 31:50 producer Brandon. It was not Instagram 31:55 avatars. Um, what was it? What did we 31:58 talk about? We were 32:01 doing Oh, yeah. Someone asked at the 32:05 end if I could show something and I 32:08 said, I don't want to start it tonight 32:09 because it's too much of a rabbit hole. 32:13 Let's reverse engineer Netflix in 32:15 deepseek tonight. We could do that. We 32:16 can totally do that. Um, tools, image 32:21 size. You're all rambunctious tonight. I 32:24 like it. There's a lot of pep in the 32:29 audience. This is good. This is good. I 32:32 like a spunky 32:34 crowd. All right. 20 desktop. Bang. 32:37 There's that. Let's go over here. Let's 32:40 add that in. We'll go 32:44 desktop. All right, that's going in 32:46 there. We're going to add a chapter. 32:48 We're going to call 32:50 it 32:53 intro. We're going to say 32:57 introduce. What the 33:01 fact? Episode 20 exclamation point. And 33:06 then I'm going to put 33:08 um 33:11 note 33:13 episode 20 is 33:17 the end of season 33:22 number 33:25 one exclamation point. Thank our 33:30 sponsors AI salon or sponsor. There's 33:35 only one AI 33:36 salon except for that one in San 33:39 Francisco. [ __ ] Um, thank our salon 33:43 AI sponsor the 33:52 salon.ai. All right. Then we're going to 33:54 move this up to first and then we're 33:57 going to say generate script. And it's 33:59 going to do that. All right. Uh, the wig 34:03 is way too close to the 34:05 candles. That's That's good, Tom. I 34:08 really appreciate you being cognizant of 34:10 the of 34:15 the of the fire hazard in our 34:18 illustration for our fake podcast about 34:21 our fake fact. I guess it's a real fact, 34:24 but with our fake 34:26 hosts. But thank you. Yes. Uh, be 34:29 careful with fire 34:33 hazards. Oh 34:35 man, Cam K and I've had eight cups of 34:38 coffee 34:39 today. Yeah, I know. There there's a 34:41 there's an energy. I don't know. Maybe 34:44 it's the the the g the pyramid thing 34:47 with the [ __ ] giant batteries 34:49 underneath it. The one Tik Tok I saw 34:52 today was 34:54 um his theory was that they're pio 34:58 electric generators where the pressure 35:02 of granite being stacked that tall. 35:06 Granite has about 40% quartz crystal in 35:09 it and the the compression and seismic 35:12 activity the movement creates pio 35:15 electric activity and then the spirals 35:18 amplify that and then the resonant 35:20 chambers below the columns amplify it as 35:23 well. So I don't [ __ ] know 35:26 man. I don't know. Put the candle 35:30 back. Okay. Um let's generate the audio. 35:34 Boom. 35:36 Let's jump over to the 35:39 X. You know the X? They used to call it 35:43 the 35:44 Twitter had a cute little birdie for an 35:46 icon. The birdie was so 35:48 cute. And then and then what 35:51 happened? They got rid they killed the 35:54 birdie. They're there. It's violence 35:56 against animals. It's really not nice to 35:58 the 36:01 animals. Oh, look a little ladybug. 36:06 Yeah. 19. What the fact? All right. Here 36:10 we go. So, we'll do a special one 36:12 tonight. So, we will 36:14 do bang bang. Here's episode. Let's 36:19 see. 36:21 We did 36:23 it, comma, and then we're going to put 36:26 Pearson Mark's name there. He's the CEO. 36:30 We did it Pearson Marks. 36:39 Um, 36:42 tonight we 36:44 [Music] 36:46 conclude season 36:52 1, episode 20 of What the Fact? 37:00 Bang. And what is it? It's something 37:05 wigs powdered 37:10 hair getting wiggy with 37:19 it. Get it? It's like get It's like 37:22 getting jiggy with it. But what I did is 37:25 I replaced the word jiggy with wiggy 37:28 because the episodes about wig. You 37:32 understand? You're you're smarter than 37:34 most people. I don't need to explain the 37:37 comedy. It's cuz we know it's funny. We 37:40 just sometimes you don't know why. And 37:42 you're like, "Well, wait. Why is that so 37:43 funny? Why am I gut laughing at the at 37:46 the name of that um fake 37:50 podcast?" Because because it's is word 37:52 play is that that was my idea. I 37:56 switched the word out with the comedy. 37:58 It with a comedy. 38:03 It's I don't like it when things get 38:06 awkward. Okay. Um getting wiggy with it. 38:10 I think we'll put this on its own 38:12 line. Getting wiggy with 38:14 it. We're going to put a picture in 38:17 here. Well, what picture are you going 38:19 to use, Kyle? We're gonna use the 38:21 picture of the flaming 38:24 wig. There you go. 38:32 Beautiful. Nike. We got to get Nike out 38:35 of there. They got nothing to do with 38:37 this. We could put in like uh I don't 38:39 know, some beauty 38:47 salon. We got to add intro music. We got 38:50 to go find our opening thing. I look up 38:54 the word what. 38:56 Um, again, one of the things that I 39:00 always recommend to anyone starting out 39:02 with AI is whenever you're generating 39:06 files to use in your projects, save them 39:09 to your desktop with a nondescript name 39:12 so you can never find them again. Uh, 39:14 that's a best practice I like to live 39:16 by. Um, not everyone's a fan of it. Some 39:19 people actually like hierarchical folder 39:23 structures so that they can actually 39:25 find things. Again, I find no adventure 39:28 in that. None. I find none. I don't know 39:30 why people are so rigid. 39:34 Okay. All right, that works. Let's 39:37 publish. Publish ye old 39:40 episode. 39:42 Um, automatically download after 39:45 publishing. We'll we'll try this. We'll 39:47 try to upload tonight to Tik Tok or to 39:49 Twitter. Uh but it it doesn't seem to 39:53 like videos 39:56 lately. I did deep research on GPT40 on 40:00 the pyramid thing. AI says in its 40:02 research that the consensus is that the 40:04 structures underneath the pyramid 40:06 pyramids are consistent with ritualistic 40:09 structures in other pyramids. 40:13 600 m deep columns that are 600 m deep. 40:17 That's 1,800 ft and then there's 40:19 resonant chambers below 40:22 those. That's not a ritual. That No 40:25 [ __ ] way. No, no, no. I'm I'm going 40:30 full conspiracy theory 40:32 here. Although, you 40:36 know, you did actual research. I just 40:39 saw an illustration on 40:45 Twitter. Oh, Digital God sent a super 40:48 sticker. Thank you, Lord Digital Gods. 40:50 You're the best. That's 40:52 awesome. I don't know. The sticker was 40:55 probably like flipping me off. I did 40:57 research, 41:02 man. Oh, good lord. 41:05 Uh, uh, oh, breaking. 41:10 George. Oh, no. That's a shame. George 41:14 Foreman has 41:16 passed. Um, in brighter news, uh, the 41:19 grills are on 41:21 sale. Too soon. It's It's way too soon, 41:27 right? You You know what the Tik Tok 41:30 shop's going to be full of for the next 41:32 two months, right? 41:36 That's just wrong. That is wrong. 41:38 Listen, I cannot be held responsible. 41:42 Producer Brandon made me go 41:44 there. This is why this is not a news 41:47 channel. No, man. That was 41:55 funny. Oh, good lord. I I am Tik Tok's 41:58 going to boot me, aren't they? 42:03 Yeah, exactly. You You can get a You can 42:06 get a Tesla for $47 and a George Foreman 42:09 grill for a 42:11 nickel. Friday night specials here at 42:13 the AI Learning Lab. Just go to my Tik 42:16 Tok 42:20 shop. Oh, lordy. 42:25 Okay, I I have not bought the cardboard 42:28 cutters yet, but man, am I tempted. 42:31 I I the the snippy one seems like it's 42:35 probably it probably works better, but 42:37 it's it's it seems like it's pretty 42:38 noisy. The circular one I kind of like, 42:41 but I have a feeling it's just not going 42:42 to work for [ __ ] Okay, here's the deal. 42:45 If anyone here wants to buy one of the 42:47 cardboard cutters from the Tik Tok shop 42:50 and tell me if it sucks or not, 42:53 cool. Then I'll spend a I think they're 42:56 like 42:58 $7.99, but I just can't bring myself to 43:00 part with the money. I'll spend $200 for 43:04 a a large language model that I don't 43:06 use. But $7.99 for a cardboard cutter? 43:10 No. No. Uh I know how to be responsible 43:13 with my money. Um okay. Um what are we 43:17 doing? We're going to publish this. So 43:18 we're going to go back to X. Let's see. 43:21 Let me get rid of that and see if we can 43:22 actually upload 43:28 We did it. Pearson Marks exclamation 43:33 point. Tonight we conclude season 43:36 1, episode 20 of What the 43:42 Fact. And now I think we can put this up 43:45 here. Put it in quote marks. Getting 43:47 jiggy with 43:49 it. And then why is this still here? Oh, 43:53 because this is still here. Got 44:01 it. Is this it? Push play. Get ready to 44:05 dive into that'll blow your mind. Yeah. 44:10 All 44:12 right. So, look. There it is. 0%. Let's 44:15 Let's look at our little upload progress 44:17 here. 1% 44:19 2%. Oh, is this actually uploading? 44:25 Oh, I think some engineer at Twitter 44:30 that someone that works there is like, 44:33 "Hey, we're get the error logs are kind 44:35 of full of a bunch of videos failing on 44:37 upload. Do we want to fix that?" Nah, no 44:40 one's uploading 44:45 videos. Oh, how often do you cut 44:47 cardboard? Well, here's the deal. Here's 44:49 the deal about the cardboard cutters. 44:52 We shop at Costco. And if you shop at 44:54 Costco, you got [ __ ] cardboard to 44:57 deal with. It's a 44:59 situation. And and it's it's not normal 45:01 cardboard cuz it's like it's like [ __ ] 45:03 they ship, you know, like 400 lb of 45:07 bananas in. So it's thick and it's 45:09 doublewalled and it's glued and it's 45:12 designed to it. It's a 45:15 situation. And so like I don't know 45:18 every 10 days or so I just get so fed up 45:22 with the the Tetris mountain Jenga tower 45:26 of cardboard boxes. I'm like I got to 45:28 break these things down and I and I cut 45:31 my hands and I and I fold them. One one 45:35 uh one week I got genius and I left all 45:40 the cardboard boxes outside in a 45:42 rainstorm and they all got mushy and 45:45 then I just stepped on them all. It was 45:47 beautiful. So I could do that too. I 45:49 could just squirt them. But I could buy 45:53 on the Tik Tok shop a motorized 45:56 cardboard cutter. It looks fun. You're 45:57 just 46:02 like, and that's the other thing. The 46:04 battery on that little [ __ ] thing, I 46:06 guarantee you, if you have seven boxes 46:08 to cut, I guarantee you the battery on 46:11 that cardboard cutter will die at five. 46:14 If you have 20, it'll die at 18. I 46:16 promise you. I know how the world works. 46:19 I've been on I've been on this planet 46:20 for a long time. 46:23 Don't Don't tell me about logic and you 46:26 can buy an extra battery. You can 46:28 recharge 46:30 it. No. 46:33 No. YouTube spotlight. You can cut the 46:36 Madagascar vanilla beans in half with 46:38 the cardboard cutter. You could choose 46:40 to do that. Oh, look. We got an error 46:43 trying to upload our video. There's a 46:45 surprise. Dear Elon, hey, I have a 46:49 question for you. Maybe you could make 46:50 the the new video ccentric X uh a little 46:56 more friendly to what do we what do we 46:58 say in the business? Um uploading 47:01 video. 47:03 No, 47:05 no, it's 47:08 unbelievable. Unfucking believable. 47:18 I know that I'm skipping season 3 of 47:19 Expedition Bigfoot to watch this. I'm 47:22 expecting amazing AI work tonight. All 47:25 right, Tom Nodler, this this one's 47:27 Tonight's for 47:28 you. So, what we're going to have to do 47:30 is rather than [ __ ] with that, we're 47:32 going to put the picture back up and 47:34 we're just going to put in the uh the 47:37 URL like like we've been doing. All 47:39 right, there's our picture. Let's go get 47:42 our 47:43 URL or Earl as they used to call them. 47:47 That always bugged me. Earl. Oh no. You 47:50 know what I didn't do, Brandon? And I 47:52 can't change it now. I didn't put 47:53 episode 20 at the beginning of 47:56 this. Can I edit 47:59 it? I don't think I can. I 48:02 can. Edit info. 48:06 Ah, they fixed 48:09 that. 48:10 Episode 48:14 20. All right. Beautiful. Save episode. 48:17 Thank 48:21 goodness. 48:23 Um, do do is wonder if this is any 48:27 good. We We've never worried about that 48:29 before, have 48:33 we? Okay. Boom. There's 48:38 that. We did it. Pearson Marks. Tonight 48:41 we 48:42 conclude 48:47 Tonight we conclude season one. 48:54 Tonight, season 48:57 1 ends 49:00 tonight 49:03 with episode 20 of What the 49:10 Fact. Getting jiggy with it. All 49:13 right, we good to go. So, as always, how 49:17 many we got? We got 49:19 28 people here, 37 people there. We got 49:22 like 50 people. Go to Twitter X and find 49:26 me Kyle Shannon and post this. Boost 49:30 this. It's episode 49:31 20, end of season one. All right. You 49:35 could also go listen to 49:39 it. I don't think I've ever listened to 49:41 an episode of What the Facts. 49:46 This is this is the kind of content that 49:49 people who hate AI are talking 49:55 about. You know, you can't just vomit 49:57 out content and pollute the internet 50:00 with just stupid 50:02 nonsense. Uh yeah, you can. No, you can. 50:06 Is it not good? Oh, it's not good. But 50:09 this one, listen, we have a concept. 50:12 It's a good concept. 50:14 These are based on Wikipedia articles. 50:16 So if you know it's on Wikipedia, it's 50:20 true. And and then we have comedy voices 50:24 saying funny things. Well, I don't 50:26 they're not saying funny things, but 50:28 they're talking with 50:31 words. All right. Do you all have fun? 50:39 you 50:41 know, when when you described Friday 50:44 Night Date Night uh and this show, I it 50:49 seemed conceptually interesting. 50:52 Um is is this how it is? Like it this is 50:56 nor this is what this show is? Is this 51:01 Yeah. No, I'm gonna I'm just gonna go. 51:03 No, no, you have it. You have your nice 51:05 date night. I'm just I'll I'll let I'll 51:08 see myself out. Yeah. No, the the Hot 51:11 Pockets were delicious. It was a little 51:13 crunchy on the frozen part, but really 51:15 and I burnt my tongue, but really um it 51:19 was an 51:20 evening. All right. Fantastic. 51:23 Fantastic. Fantastic. Yeah, let's get 51:26 going. All right, people. Where's Marge 51:29 tonight? Marge is Marge is out playing 51:31 bridge with the 51:33 girls. Hey, Marge. All right, Marger's 51:38 out. I gotta figure this internet thing 51:40 out 51:42 myself. 51:46 Um, what are we going to do tonight, 51:49 people? We got to adjust the camera. You 51:51 want to be able to see the top of my 51:53 hair. You wouldn't want to miss 51:55 that. Um, my glasses are dirty. My voice 52:00 is crispy. At least I have some energy 52:02 tonight. When was it? Two nights ago. I 52:05 was like [ __ ] nodding out. That was 52:07 That was rough. 52:14 What do I want to play 52:21 with? All right, we'll go to 52:27 Pika. We'll go to 52:29 Pika because Pika's got some new 52:32 [ __ ] 52:35 Here's why I'm 52:38 hesitating. One, I don't I don't know 52:41 what they added and I don't quite know 52:42 how to use them. And sometimes it works 52:44 and sometimes it 52:50 doesn't. But I also kind of want to 52:53 compare Sora with Luma with 52:57 Runway. But those tools are all now so 53:00 complicated. like it's hard to just play 53:03 like it used to be. There's just 53:05 everything's got everything's too 53:07 complicated. All right, let me close 53:09 down my 53:12 socials and let me open up my 53:16 video. And then there's Ka. Ka added 53:19 some new [ __ ] 53:22 today. Good lord. All right. Yeah, we'll 53:26 do this 53:27 one. Fine. 53:32 So, here we are at Pika. See, they got a 53:34 bunch of new buttons down at the bottom 53:38 here. Am I Why is this not getting 53:42 bigger? There we 53:43 go. Can you all see that? You can all 53:46 see that. 53:47 Yeah. Yeah. We got some 53:52 spaceships. Pea frames. 54:00 [Music] 54:03 Let's try a peak of frame. So peak of 54:05 frame is a first frame and a last frame 54:08 and you describe the transition. So 54:10 let's do we'll do something abstract 54:12 maybe 54:13 here. What's that? 54:27 Oh, this could be kind of 54:39 cool. All right. So, what we're going to 54:41 do, we're going to start with steampunk 54:45 Fat 54:48 Kyle. And then we're going to go 54:52 to cartoon hero Fat Kyle. And we're 54:55 going to say, 55:01 um, 55:02 man travels. 55:05 Wait. Man 55:08 morphs into 55:11 his future 55:14 self. All 55:16 right, let's try 55:22 that. All right, let's see. What do we 55:24 got? Pika 2.2. Let's look at 55:27 settings. Oh [ __ ] I did it as a a 16 55:30 by9. That was 55:32 stupid. Hang on. Let me do settings 9 55:36 by6 and we'll try it again. We'll go 55:40 boom. All right, that's doing its 55:45 thing. You can do Oh, that's cool. In 55:48 pika now you can do anywhere from 1 to 55:51 10 seconds. Oh, that was 55:54 quick. Oh, that's not bad. Look at this. 56:04 That's pretty sweet. And that was 56:15 fast. Huh. All right. Reprompt. Can we 56:19 do audio with this? Add to 56:21 folder. What's that? That's No, I don't 56:26 think you can do audio here. You can do 56:27 audio in 56:29 uh you can do audio in Luma Labs. I saw 56:33 there's a new paper that came out that 56:35 looks really amazing where you can take 56:37 long video sequences and it'll do all 56:39 the sound effects for all the elements 56:42 within longer sequences, which I thought 56:44 was pretty sweet. All right, let's look 56:47 at the one that we 56:50 did. Oh, that's bad. That one's 56:53 bad. This isn't him morphing into the 56:56 future. This is him like, "Let me duck 56:58 out of the way and we'll get the cartoon 56:59 guy 57:06 in. That one's bad." Okay, look, listen. 57:11 This video [ __ ] is janky. By the way, 57:13 we're 57:14 paart. Okay, so there's Peak Effects. 57:16 There's Pika scenes. You can upload 57:20 multiple scene ingredients. Oh, yeah. 57:22 We've played with this before. 57:26 What's the one that they just added 57:28 where you can take an object in a scene 57:30 and just have that thing do the do the 57:34 action? What's that one 57:39 called? Sneak 57:43 peek. But is it in 57:48 here? Only on 57:52 the 57:54 PPC paid partner program. 57:57 Oh, yeah. I I don't pay for this [ __ ] 58:02 Oh, apparently I 58:03 do. Oh, you know what it is? I think I 58:07 don't pay much for Pika, but they put me 58:09 on a pro plan 58:11 because I was there early. All right, 58:14 whatever. 58:16 Um, PA scenes. Peak editions. 58:19 Describe what you want and how you want 58:23 to add 58:26 it to your video. Oh, this one's one. 58:30 Okay. 58:32 So, we got to go find So, wait. We got 58:35 to go find a video. Upload your 58:39 video. 58:41 Um MP4. 58:56 [Music] 58:58 [Applause] 59:05 [Music] 59:08 All right, we could probably do 59:10 something with that. 59:14 Good afternoon. Dirk Birkenstock here. 59:16 All right, let's grab this one. So, 59:18 we'll grab Dirk 59:19 Birkenstock and then we're going to 59:21 upload an image. Let's go get What do we 59:24 want? 59:25 Um, oh, choose from our library. 59:31 Okay. Oh, we'll put in a 59:34 UFO. Describe 59:36 uh 59:38 UFO flies into the 59:47 scene. All right. Generate. All right. 59:50 Well, let's see what this does. Wait, 59:52 something went wrong. What? 59:55 What went 59:59 wrong? Can I not say 1:00:02 UFO craft flies into the scene? Is this 1:00:06 one of those safety things? No. 1:00:13 Um Oh, I'm in peak 1:00:16 editions. Oh, Pika swaps. 1:00:22 upload a 1:00:31 video. 1:00:33 Um, oh, Pika swap is the feature I was 1:00:36 looking for. Oh, okay. Um, 1:00:43 um, UFO 1:00:47 flies. What went wrong? Why are you 1:00:50 doing this to me? 1:00:53 I'm 1:00:54 whiny. You should just work. Why do you 1:00:58 not 1:00:59 work? This is like when X tells you you 1:01:02 can upload a video and then it doesn't 1:01:04 upload the 1:01:06 videos. I don't want to. Oh, is your 1:01:09 video 5 seconds long? No, it's too long. 1:01:12 But okay, so granted, 1:01:16 Brandon, I could have read the manual. I 1:01:19 could have read the instructions. I 1:01:20 could have taken and it needed to be 1:01:21 shorter than 5 seconds. I could have, 1:01:24 but as the bitter Gen Xer sitting in the 1:01:27 corner, give me a [ __ ] modal box. 1:01:29 Don't just say something went wrong. You 1:01:31 have the technology to understand what 1:01:33 went wrong. Hey, [ __ ] your video is 1:01:36 longer than 5 seconds. Maybe you could 1:01:38 shorten it up and stop being such a 1:01:39 douche and read the manual once in a 1:01:41 while. No, that that's asking too much. 1:01:45 I've got to decipher. I've got to have 1:01:47 I've got to literally have literally 1:01:50 have Oh, it says at least 5 seconds. I 1:01:53 think I've got 5 1:01:55 [Laughter] 1:02:01 seconds. I like being cranky. Bitter. 1:02:04 You betcha. Okay, Durk. Good afternoon. 1:02:09 Eight seconds. It's eight seconds. I'm 1:02:11 in the right here. They're in the wrong. 1:02:13 I'm going to put you suck if you can't 1:02:17 make 1:02:18 this 1:02:21 alien 1:02:22 craft fly through my scene. Now, why did 1:02:26 I write that? Important thing about 1:02:29 prompt engineering. If your prompt is 1:02:31 not working, write secret messages to 1:02:34 the developers who when looking through 1:02:36 the logs will stumble upon your prompt. 1:02:40 Okay, that still didn't work. 1:02:48 Upload a video. Have a specific vision. 1:02:50 Upload one of your photos and swap it in 1:02:54 for your 1:02:55 selection. Otherwise, use a text prompt. 1:02:58 Okay. So, let's put in let's put in durk 1:03:05 again.mpp4 1:03:08 for dirk dirk intro. And then we'll say 1:03:19 um the 1:03:21 tower in the back starts 1:03:25 smoking and takes 1:03:32 off. Something went wrong. Are we 1:03:37 going? Tik Tok 1:03:40 pin. Chat add is just 1:03:46 perfect. Thank you. Yes, we try to live 1:03:49 up to the chat add reputation that we 1:03:52 have here. We could do this with an 1:03:55 itinerary and and curricula, but we 1:03:58 choose not to. This is here's what this 1:04:03 is. Forest Gump, right? This is the 1:04:06 opening scene to Forest Gump is this ep 1:04:08 is this show, 1:04:12 right? Life the AI learning lab is like 1:04:15 a box of chocolates and and most of them 1:04:19 are filled with toothpaste, but you 1:04:21 know, there's like two or three caramels 1:04:22 in there that are going to be [ __ ] 1:04:24 awesome, but you're going to have to 1:04:25 suffer the consequences. That's the 1:04:27 deal. That's how we do it here. Uh I 1:04:30 don't know why this is not working 1:04:31 anymore. I I'm I'm I'm I'm done. I'm 1:04:34 done with Pika. Thanks, Pika. It's been 1:04:37 swell. Figure out why your [ __ ] doesn't 1:04:40 work. Yeah, we'll go to Sora 1:04:44 now. Okay, LLMs. Let's grab Sora. Do I 1:04:47 have Sora over here? I 1:04:50 must. I don't think I do. Oh, yeah, I 1:04:52 do. Sora error. Go back. Go 1:04:57 back. O login. 1:05:00 Good day to you, sir. Good day. I said 1:05:04 good 1:05:06 day. All right. So, we're gonna do Luma 1:05:10 Labs and we'll 1:05:12 do 1:05:15 Sora. Two videos. Well, [ __ ] it. We'll 1:05:18 do four videos now 1:05:20 because we're not burning through 1:05:23 credits 1:05:26 anymore. All right. 480p. We don't want 1:05:30 720p is four times 1:05:33 slower. All right. So, let's go. Let Let 1:05:37 us go. Let us 1:05:38 go. We're carrying on 1:05:41 rather sir. Oh, yeah. Let's get Let's 1:05:45 get some of these cool images we 1:05:47 made we made for 1:05:51 uh You can see all this, right? All you 1:05:54 people all you peoples, are you looking 1:05:56 at what I'm looking at? You picking up 1:05:58 what I'm putting 1:06:00 down? 1:06:02 Um, lol, you are supposed to swap 1:06:05 something into the video. No, it said 1:06:08 you could upload an image or you could 1:06:10 use 1:06:12 text. Have the tower turn into an ice 1:06:14 cream cone or something. Yeah, but it 1:06:16 didn't it didn't 1:06:18 work. It didn't 1:06:21 work. Where is it? 1:06:25 Pika, try again. 1:06:30 Oh, maybe. No, I don't. I I I 1:06:33 can't. Okay. So, let's go 1:06:38 to mid joiny and let's let's find 1:06:41 something good and beautiful. This one 1:06:43 looks pretty 1:06:45 cool. So does this 1:06:49 one. That one's pretty stunning. So, 1:06:51 let's do a subtle and a creative 1:06:55 upscale on that. Do we want to do 1:06:58 another 1:07:04 one? That was pretty gorgeous. 1:07:22 Let's do that one. 1:07:29 Oops. Subtle and creative. Um, when I 1:07:33 when I upscale and midjourney, the 1:07:35 reason 1:07:36 I do both subtle and creative upscales 1:07:39 is I don't know which one's 1:07:42 better and I don't know when they're 1:07:44 better. And again, that's something that 1:07:48 with with a prefrontal lobe that 1:07:50 functions, you might do some actual 1:07:52 testing. I just choose to make more 1:07:55 [Laughter] 1:07:59 pictures. H, I love those images. Aren't 1:08:02 these great? So, these images, the 1:08:04 prompt for these was actually the prompt 1:08:07 for a voice in OpenAI's new voice 1:08:12 designer. All right, so let's look at 1:08:14 these. So, there's that one. Can I zoom 1:08:18 in even 1:08:21 more? That's so 1:08:26 cool. Okay, that this one's definitely 1:08:28 better. I don't know which one this one 1:08:30 is, but this one's definitely better. 1:08:32 So, we're going to download that 1:08:35 one. And then let's go look at this. 1:08:38 Boom. 1:08:39 Boom. Little janky. And this is still 1:08:43 working. 78 complete. 1:08:46 78% 1:08:50 complete. Um, style references in 1:08:54 midjourney with creative prompts are the 1:08:57 absolute [ __ ] best. Look at the 1:09:00 detail in this one. This is so good. 1:09:07 Damn. All right, so we'll download that 1:09:10 one, 1:09:12 too. And then we're going to go back to 1:09:17 Sara and we're going to upload a 1:09:21 picture. Upload from your device. Media 1:09:24 upload 1:09:25 agreement. Oh, 1:09:29 really? You agree not to upload people 1:09:31 without their consent? No, I do not 1:09:33 agree to that. You agree not to upload 1:09:35 media containing violence or explicit 1:09:37 themes. Okay, fine. You agree to have 1:09:40 all the necessary rights. Why would I do 1:09:42 that? Misuse of media uploads may result 1:09:44 in your account being suspended or 1:09:47 banned without 1:09:49 refund. All of this is reasonable 1:09:53 except none of the other models have 1:09:57 this. So that is just a bad user 1:10:00 experience. 1:10:01 Okay. Do we want to do her first? Let's 1:10:04 do the birds first. I think the birds is 1:10:06 the 1:10:07 most obvious. This is also interesting 1:10:10 because this 1:10:12 image something went wrong. Please try 1:10:14 again in a few minutes. I know what went 1:10:16 wrong. It's not 16 by9. All right. So, 1:10:18 let's go. Let's go back to midjourney. 1:10:20 We got to go fix some [ __ ] So, we're 1:10:22 going to go into the editor. Yeah, we're 1:10:24 going to go 16 1:10:26 by9. We're going to go 1:10:29 submit. Uh, let's move this down so 1:10:32 we'll get more sky. 1:10:36 Oops. Oh, yeah. We'll move that down to 1:10:43 there. And then we'll go 1:10:48 erase. We'll make the thing 1:11:00 bigger. If you don't know what I'm 1:11:02 doing, that's okay because I don't 1:11:05 either. 1:11:09 He seemed like he knew what he was 1:11:10 doing, but then all of a sudden it just 1:11:13 seemed like he was really incompetent. I 1:11:15 I'm trying to figure out is this it's 1:11:18 called the AI learning lab and I would 1:11:20 think that the person running it would 1:11:22 have some level of degree of expertise 1:11:26 or why would he be doing this? It seems 1:11:29 very confusing to other people. All 1:11:31 right, that's not going to fix itself. 1:11:33 So, let's submit that. 1:11:37 Go back to 1:11:40 here. That's making 16 by9. So, let's go 1:11:43 grab 1:11:44 her. Is this 16 by9? I can't tell. 1:11:48 Editor. No, now it's going to be. So, 1:11:52 we'll 1:11:52 [Music] 1:11:55 go ding ding. Let's get rid of that 1:11:59 one. And then, in case there's anything 1:12:01 on the bottom here, I can't see it. 1:12:05 Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh 1:12:12 submit 1:12:13 create. Oh, I like 1:12:16 the the orange thing there. But no, 1:12:19 that's that's that's a whole new 1:12:25 idea. This is the one we'll do. We'll do 1:12:28 upscale, subtle, and 1:12:31 creative. We'll go back out. Let's look 1:12:33 at 1:12:38 [Music] 1:12:39 these. 1:12:45 Oops. All right, that's good. We'll do 1:12:47 upscale, subtle, and 1:12:51 creative. So, I think the reason it 1:12:53 failed is the Sora aspect ratio was 16 1:12:57 by9 and I uploaded a 2x1 1:13:02 It was not the same aspect ratio. 1:13:07 Again, if they had a cranky Gen Xer in 1:13:10 the corner, the cranky Gen Xer would 1:13:11 say, "Tell people why you're failing 1:13:15 this. Don't be such a [ __ ] 1:13:18 tool, 1:13:20 Skippy. Hey, HR." Yeah, Kyle called me 1:13:24 Skippy again. Yeah, there's there's 1:13:28 nothing we can do about that. He Yeah, 1:13:31 Sam. Sam Sam likes him. Yeah. Yeah. He 1:13:36 He I know it's I know you're triggered. 1:13:39 I know. I 1:13:49 know. That one's not good. That one is 1:13:53 okay. Download 1:13:55 this. Boom. 1:13:59 Okay, that's 1:14:01 going. And then I think this is going to 1:14:03 be the better 1:14:07 one. That one's not good. This one is 1:14:10 still 1:14:14 building. Thanks, 1:14:20 Skippy. Cam Ken, I wonder if you can 1:14:22 hear the wings flapping as she walks. 1:14:25 That would be cool. Actually, we'll do 1:14:28 this one in Luma because we can get Luma 1:14:30 to do the sound effects for this 1:14:32 one. Oh, this one that's gorgeous. Okay, 1:14:35 the details here are really good. Oh, 1:14:37 except it threw in a it threw in a uh um 1:14:41 what you call it? A signature. We don't 1:14:44 want 1:14:44 that. A fake signature. 1:14:54 Submit. 1:15:02 [Music] 1:15:06 There everybody having fun tonight on 1:15:08 Friday night date night? Kyle, remind me 1:15:11 again where you got the prompts and how 1:15:14 you generated them. Which prompts? Oh, 1:15:17 okay. So, yeah. Let me let me um let me 1:15:21 upscale. 1:15:24 Let me find one of these and upscale it. 1:15:26 See one that I like here and upscale 1:15:32 it. They're all the same. Okay. So, 1:15:35 upscale subtle, upscale creative. Okay. 1:15:39 So, 1:15:41 yesterday the the prompt for these. 1:15:44 Okay. There there's there's three things 1:15:47 to do. Three things to do here. 1:15:53 Um, I went to OpenAI, uh, let's see, 1:16:00 OpenAI.fm, which is their new voice 1:16:02 model, and I copied the prompt. So the 1:16:06 the prompt for the voice, you can you 1:16:08 can give the a the voice what they call 1:16:10 a vibe where you can you can prompt a 1:16:14 voice affect, a tone, pacing, emotions, 1:16:18 pronunciation, and 1:16:20 pauses. And so I copied that and I went 1:16:23 to chat 1:16:24 GPT and I had it 1:16:28 um figure out how to write that prompt 1:16:30 and then I had it design a character for 1:16:32 me. So let's see which one it was. 1:16:37 Um, AI voice persona creating AI voice 1:16:41 prompts. I think this is the one. 1:16:44 Yeah. So, it came up with this this 1:16:47 character called the eater of names, 1:16:50 which I thought was [ __ ] 1:16:52 amazing. And so, I literally just copied 1:16:56 the prompt for the voice and went to 1:16:59 midjourney. But the other thing that I 1:17:02 did 1:17:06 was I went to my 1:17:09 mind where I collect 1:17:15 um SRESFs for 1:17:18 midjourney. 1:17:20 And this 1:17:24 SREF I put in there because I thought it 1:17:27 was just kind of cool gradations and 1:17:29 stuff. So, this SRF is You want to write 1:17:33 this down or screenshot it here? Wait, 1:17:35 I'll make it bigger. Uh, no. Can you see 1:17:40 that? 1:17:44 128475 1:17:46 8702 with a style weight of a 1:17:52 th00and. And 1:17:55 then, and then I went to midjourney. And 1:17:58 so, all of these have that 12842 1:18:02 whatever. And then the prompt is just 1:18:04 what chat GPT wrote for the for the 1:18:06 voice prompt and it just created all 1:18:09 this crazy [ __ ] So, I'm digging it. I'm 1:18:12 digging 1:18:14 [Music] 1:18:21 it. I think that one's 1:18:25 better. Okay. So, that's that one. So, 1:18:28 we're going to download 1:18:30 this. All right. So, now we're going to 1:18:32 go back to Sora and try a [ __ ] 1:18:36 GAN. Tic Tac pin. Paint modder. We'll be 1:18:40 doing a DIA tomorrow going over 1:18:42 different types of model architectures 1:18:45 mid. Oh, MLPs, CNN's, RNN's et, etc. So, 1:18:50 paint modder if you Okay, we're going to 1:18:53 take a Yeah, exactly Brandon. We're 1:18:55 going to take a little commercial break 1:18:56 for the AI salon if you're not a part of 1:18:58 the AI salon. Get your ass over there. 1:19:01 Go to the salon.ai. Click on the button 1:19:03 that says join our 1:19:05 community. And um in the events you'll 1:19:09 see tomorrow's doing a demystifying AI 1:19:12 session. Pate, brilliant guy. He's been 1:19:16 for the past I think this is your fifth 1:19:18 maybe your fifth session. Um every other 1:19:21 week he's been doing a session. If you 1:19:23 want to understand how this AI stuff 1:19:25 works, go to that session. It's going to 1:19:27 be a good one. And then I'm pretty sure 1:19:28 there's a learn out loud on Sunday as 1:19:31 well. Is that right, Vicki? I see you in 1:19:34 here. I'm late to LinkedIn tonight, but 1:19:36 there are 18 people here and only four 1:19:38 have smashed the thumbs up button. What 1:19:40 are you people 1:19:42 doing? So on Sunday, so so tomorrow Pton 1:19:46 M is doing a demystifying AI. And Sunday 1:19:49 there's a learn out loud 1:19:52 about is it midjourney? I think it's 1:19:57 midjourney. Joy Reeves midjourney. So 1:20:00 yeah, you can watch me do midjourney and 1:20:03 laugh at me. You can watch Joy do 1:20:04 midjourney and go, "Oh, I actually 1:20:06 learned something 1:20:11 here." Uh uh. 1:20:16 [Music] 1:20:21 Yeah, these are very cool. Okay, so 1:20:24 we're going to open this 1:20:26 up. Optional 1:20:29 describe, we'll say her hair 1:20:33 flows as 1:20:36 the something went wrong. Please try 1:20:39 again in a few minutes. Oh, you know 1:20:40 what I bet this is? I bet since they 1:20:43 opened it up to no credits, everyone's 1:20:45 bombing their 1:20:50 servers. Vicki is teasing something. And 1:20:53 coming soon, Sabrina Robin Romanoff with 1:20:56 Blot in for a learn out loud. Fan 1:21:01 fuckingtastic. Oh, that would be 1:21:03 awesome. Love that. Okay, 1:21:06 good. Fan freakingastic. Bob, tell her 1:21:09 what she's won. 1:21:11 Uh, hair 1:21:13 flows. Okay, we can't use this. Let's go 1:21:15 try Lumalabs because we know Lumalabs 1:21:22 works. This is uh 1:21:26 Lumalabs.ai is where we are. 1:21:33 You know, I try and I try and I try to 1:21:36 show you all how to do cool [ __ ] and 1:21:40 they sometimes [ __ ] just doesn't 1:21:43 work. I feel 1:21:45 bad. We'll do it live. We'll do it live. 1:21:49 Oh, you know what we could do here? 1:21:50 Well, we'll do we'll do two different 1:21:52 things. We're going to do one where we 1:21:55 get the birds flying away. So, we'll do 1:21:58 hair flows as birds 1:22:04 fly 1:22:06 away. And then we're going to do key 1:22:08 frame. Yeah, we'll do we'll do 720p. Ah, 1:22:12 [ __ ] it. We'll do 1080p. Why 1:22:15 not? We'll do Ray 2 flash because it's 1:22:19 faster. All right. So, there's that 1:22:25 one. Are we going? And now we're going 1:22:27 to add another one. Friday night fails. 1:22:30 Yeah, there you go. Exactly. We'll get 1:22:32 this other 1:22:37 picture. We'll say 1:22:41 um the 1:22:45 monster 1:22:46 [Music] 1:22:48 monster grows in intensity. 1:22:55 [Music] 1:23:02 D and then we're going to 1:23:06 do one as the first frame, one is the 1:23:08 second 1:23:09 frame. This is the stuff Kelly Bosch has 1:23:12 been doing a lot of lately. She's really 1:23:14 enamored with this. And I'm just going 1:23:16 to submit it. We're not going 1:23:19 to we're not going to put a prompt 1:23:22 in. These are all cool bunch of bugs. 1:23:27 I just did these in uh in Luma Lab. 1:23:31 They've got an image generator within 1:23:35 here. I said to make some alien bugs and 1:23:38 it did. Aren't they cool? 1:23:59 make 1:24:05 video. 1:24:11 Um, oh, that's 1:24:17 trippy audio. 1:24:21 We'll say add description. 1:24:26 Um, fabric 1:24:29 flapping in 1:24:32 wind 1:24:37 as 1:24:39 birds screech. 1:24:54 This one's doing 1:24:56 nothing. Absolutely no 1:25:01 movement. 1:25:03 Huh. Well, that's bad. 1:25:16 sort of 1:25:17 cool tabs for audio when you get there. 1:25:20 Uh, I'll share the audio if it doesn't 1:25:23 suck. This is one thing I've noticed 1:25:25 about Luma. You can't the the animals 1:25:28 don't move. It just like moves the 1:25:31 camera. Let me see if I can get one to 1:25:33 walk. 1:25:38 Um, let's see this one. Make video. 1:25:43 We'll 1:25:45 say 1:25:47 insect 1:25:51 walks. Try that. 1:25:58 Well, that's really good, actually. 1:25:59 Okay, let me share my screen for this. 1:26:01 We're up to nine now. Seven. Still need 1:26:05 to get with 1:26:06 it. Thumbs up on YouTube. Listen, if 1:26:09 you're on YouTube, you got this on the 1:26:12 big screen. You're smoking pot. You're 1:26:14 eating nachos. Least you could do. Pick 1:26:16 up the remote. Give it a thumbs 1:26:18 up. You know what I'm saying? Good lord. 1:26:22 Oh, LinkedIn or LinkedIn thumbs up, 1:26:26 [Laughter] 1:26:29 too. Vicki is like my bouncer. 1:26:36 Okay. Um, ideas dream 1:26:43 machine. Wait. Oh, no. That was wrong. 1:26:47 Hang on. 1:26:59 Dream 1:27:00 machine 1:27:02 [Music] 1:27:03 percent. Is it this one? No. Is it this 1:27:06 one? Yes. 1:27:09 Okay. Yeed on X. All right. So, look at 1:27:12 this. This is pretty cool. Listen to the 1:27:14 audio here. 1:27:42 Bob Donigan's watching basketball. So, 1:27:45 apparently the NCAA playoffs are more 1:27:47 exciting than the AI learning 1:27:49 lab. They are chirping. I know they are. 1:27:52 Okay, so let's download this bad 1:27:56 boy. 1:28:00 Download. That one's cool. Does this 1:28:02 thing walk yet? Look. See, look. It's 1:28:04 not walking, 1:28:06 man. I can't get them to move their 1:28:08 [ __ ] legs. Anybody know how to do 1:28:10 that? 1:28:14 Lori Blair jumped over to YouTube for a 1:28:16 thumbs 1:28:18 up. All right, let's go throw something 1:28:21 up on X just because we 1:28:26 [Music] 1:28:31 can. 1:28:32 [Music] 1:28:32 [Applause] 1:28:37 Uh, hey at Luma 1:28:47 Labs, anyone 1:28:51 ever tell 1:28:57 you Dream Machine 1:29:01 is 1:29:03 flipping 1:29:07 cool. Now they have Oh, you can't see 1:29:11 this. Okay, 1:29:13 fine. Producer Brandon is is trying to 1:29:16 save you from just looking at bugs all 1:29:18 night because I didn't share the right 1:29:20 damn 1:29:23 tab. He's right. I'm wrong. Listen, I'm 1:29:27 man enough to admit my mistakes once a 1:29:30 month. I'll do it once a 1:29:35 month. So, by the way, producer 1:29:38 Brandon's going to be in Vegas all week 1:29:40 last night, you know, doing things that 1:29:43 he can't talk about, and I'm going to be 1:29:46 on my own. So, this is going to be an 1:29:48 absolute travesty next 1:29:51 week. 1:29:55 Closeup of realistic insect walking 1:29:59 across the surface. Legs moving clearly 1:30:01 in rhythm. Side to side natural 1:30:03 movement. No camera 1:30:05 movement. Yeah, exactly. Can I copy this 1:30:09 out of here? I can't. Why not? It makes 1:30:12 me cranky. Brandon can do it. He'll get 1:30:14 he'll get get it for 1:30:16 me. Okay. Halum Labs. This is cool. 1:30:19 Dream Machine. Um, anyone ever tell you 1:30:22 Dream Machine is flipping cool? Now they 1:30:25 have. I love 1:30:28 love this 1:30:32 uh 1:30:35 audio from Dream Machine 2. 1:30:51 Okay, copy. Let's go back to Luma 1:30:56 Labs. Can you all see this? You can, 1:30:59 right? All right. We're going to go back 1:31:02 here. Go back here. We're going to grab 1:31:06 this 1:31:07 dude. Where is he? This 1:31:09 one. Where is 1:31:11 he? This one. 1:31:16 make 1:31:17 video. And then we're going to paste 1:31:19 Vicky's prompt in. Closeup of a 1:31:22 realistic insect walking across a 1:31:25 surface. Legs moving clearly in rhythm. 1:31:28 Side view. Natural environment. No 1:31:31 camera movement. All right, 1:31:34 Vicki. We'll see. We'll see. I got my 1:31:38 doubts. 1:31:41 It's just all these AI tools. All these 1:31:44 AI 1:31:46 tools. You could try prompting Sora. No 1:31:50 image, just text. Yeah, we could try 1:31:55 that. Um, oh, let's let's go 1:32:00 grab let's go grab the 1:32:05 audio. Is this it? Com. No. 1:32:09 Let's go grab this prompt that you Yeah. 1:32:14 Uh, Tik Tok is enjoying a lovely view of 1:32:16 Miro right now. There you go. Thank 1:32:19 [Laughter] 1:32:25 you. Okay. So, we're going to put 1:32:29 in the entire prompt. This is what we 1:32:32 put into 1:32:35 um midjourney that gave us those really 1:32:37 cool results. We'll see what Sora does. 1:32:41 Added to the 1:32:43 queue. Now I'm paying 200 bucks a month 1:32:46 for this [ __ ] So I should be at 1:32:47 the top of the 1:32:49 [Laughter] 1:32:51 queue. You jerks. All right, let's see 1:32:54 if Vicki wins. Does Vicki win? 1:32:57 No. No 1:32:59 winning the jaw. The jaw clo move moved 1:33:03 closed a little 1:33:05 bit. No walking. I don't know how to 1:33:07 make these things 1:33:09 walk. I don't know. All right. Whatever. 1:33:13 It's This is This is a something we're 1:33:14 going to have to solve. Now I'm using 1:33:17 Ray 2 flash. Oh, you know what I'll do, 1:33:20 Vicki? 1:33:22 Um 1:33:24 modify. How do I get my prompt from this 1:33:27 thing? 1:33:34 Um, I'm sure there's a 1:33:45 way. 1:33:50 Huh? Yeah. Yeah. Also 1:33:54 black. All right. 1:34:00 Uh, all right. Let's go back to the 1:34:03 images. Let's we'll change the video 1:34:05 model 1:34:06 here. So, let's go back to the 1:34:13 images. Which one is it? It is this 1:34:18 one. Make video. 1:34:24 Let me get rid of the quote 1:34:28 marks. And then let's go from ray two 1:34:31 flash to ray 1:34:32 [Music] 1:34:33 two. 1:34:35 Yeah. All 1:34:37 right. So, there's that. Let's see how 1:34:40 Sora did. Oh, 1:34:46 interesting. The eater of 1:34:48 names. So, this is Sora. 1:34:53 The eater. The eater of 1:34:56 names. That's kind of cool. I like the 1:34:59 patterns of the 1:35:02 wallpaper. 1:35:05 Oh, that's [ __ ] 1:35:10 spooky. All right. Not as bad as I 1:35:13 thought. 1:35:23 All right, Sora, I might have to start 1:35:25 complaining with 1:35:27 you. I think the interpretation here, 1:35:29 this one's This one's spooky. The chair 1:35:33 just sort of 1:35:39 emerges. It's like when you're in the 1:35:41 East Village and you go into the palm 1:35:43 reader. 1:35:47 All right, let's go back to uh Lumal 1:35:49 Labs. Are we still dreaming? Oh, because 1:35:51 we used the big 1:35:53 model. 1:35:55 Um, so wait, you have another one, 1:35:58 right? Macro 1:36:00 shot, stable camera, realistic ant part 1:36:04 two coming up. 1:36:05 Okay. All right. Vickiy's got 1:36:12 another make 1:36:15 video. There's her 1:36:18 thing. We're going to get rid of part 1:36:20 two coming 1:36:28 up. Key frame. All right. So, here we 1:36:31 go. Here's here's the last one. 1:36:44 No, they're they're just like they've 1:36:47 been freeze 1:36:48 dive freeze 1:36:50 [Laughter] 1:36:53 dried. That bug is on 1:36:58 heel's cam cat glide gliding bug vibe. 1:37:03 I I love that it made this bug. I can't 1:37:07 figure out why it can't 1:37:11 um hang on. Let me fix this once and for 1:37:14 all 1:37:18 here. There we 1:37:26 go. Waiting for your 1:37:29 turn. Nothing. Nothing. 1:37:32 I'm gonna actually go into the Lumal 1:37:34 Labs Discord. 1:38:00 [Music] 1:38:02 Uh, Lumal Lab's creator program. Let's 1:38:06 see. 1:38:07 [Music] 1:38:08 General. 1:38:11 Um, 1:38:13 hey, I 1:38:15 [Music] 1:38:18 cannot seem to get 1:38:21 Luma to 1:38:24 make this 1:38:27 insect move. No 1:38:30 matter the 1:38:32 prompt, any ideas? Question mark. And 1:38:36 then did I download 1:38:39 that? Upload a 1:38:43 file. Yes. 1:38:54 And then I'll go back over here and 1:38:58 [Music] 1:39:00 go. Where's the 1:39:03 original? Is this it? 1:39:06 Yeah. Download 1:39:10 that. Here's 1:39:12 [Music] 1:39:14 the original 1:39:17 image generated in 1:39:22 Luma 1:39:23 plus upload a 1:39:29 [Music] 1:39:32 file. All right, let's see if we get any 1:39:35 things. Black bar. Tik Tok 1:39:39 pin. Just make it dance in Pixverse. 1:39:42 Yeah, I know. I mean that that's the 1:39:44 thing like ah it's this is one of those 1:39:47 maddening [ __ ] things. We're just at 1:39:49 the stage of the industry 1:39:53 where all of these labs are trying 1:39:56 [Music] 1:39:59 to add features and beat each other 1:40:03 feature-wise. 1:40:05 and like they're all good at something 1:40:08 and it's just like there's there's 1:40:11 there's no way to know. You just have to 1:40:13 kind of jump between 38 different tools. 1:40:15 It's just kind of where we are. It's 1:40:18 kind of the [ __ ] 1:40:21 deal. Is this 1:40:25 one still not 1:40:28 moving? And that's still dreaming. 1:40:32 It doesn't look like that one's moving 1:40:37 either. Maybe it 1:40:39 does. We'll 1:40:42 see. YouTube spotlight. Those legs are 1:40:45 moving microscopically. I win. Yeah, 1:40:48 [Laughter] 1:40:52 exactly. Features get people to use 1:40:54 things. Children's cha children chasing 1:40:56 the shiny ball. I know. Welcome to the 1:40:58 chasing the shiny ball channel. 1:41:02 But the shiny ball I'm chasing is I want 1:41:04 [ __ ] to 1:41:05 [Laughter] 1:41:10 work. Good lord. Let me go back to Luma 1:41:13 or Sora and upload the bug picture. 1:41:17 Let's see if we can get Sora to to 1:41:20 behave. 1:41:23 Plus upload from your 1:41:26 device 1:41:31 bug. Oh, this is nice. It lets us crop 1:41:34 it. 1:41:35 Great. That's the right 1:41:37 idea. And then we'll say 1:41:41 insect 1:41:45 walks 1:41:49 menacingly 1:41:50 forward. And I spelled menacingly 1:41:54 wrong. Fine. Doesn't have an A in the 1:41:58 spot I thought it did. 1:42:00 Fine. I'm not a 1:42:08 loser. I might have gotten a response on 1:42:13 Discord. He might be too close. Cut off 1:42:16 by the frame's edge. Oh, that's 1:42:19 interesting. 1:42:25 So, I 1:42:27 could take that image into midjourney. 1:42:31 Here's what we can do. We can skin this 1:42:35 cat if that's the cause of that thing. 1:42:37 We'll go into edit. So, if you haven't 1:42:39 if you haven't edited an image in 1:42:40 MidJourney, it's pretty slick. So, we're 1:42:42 going to go in. We're going to upload 1:42:45 the image. 1:42:53 And then we're going 1:42:57 to resize it. 1:43:11 Right. Submit. Edit. No prompt. 1:43:15 Um, insect on 1:43:20 lava field. I know it's not a field of 1:43:23 lava, but 1:43:25 just come on. Just go with me here, you 1:43:41 weirdos. All right. So there's our 1:43:44 image. What do we got to do? We got to 1:43:46 upscale this into the 1:43:48 gallery. So this is now up here turning 1:43:51 into a 1:43:52 thing. Then we're going to upload that 1:43:54 into Luma. We're going to try 1:43:57 again. This is the kind of 1:43:59 troubleshooting people that is 1:44:02 just especially when you're 1:44:05 paying when you're paying for [ __ ] 1:44:07 video credits and it keeps doing this 1:44:10 [ __ ] Holy [ __ ] Is that maddening? 1:44:13 Yeah, those are not moving at all. 1:44:16 That's interesting that them being cut 1:44:17 off is it. My sorus scary ant is in 1:44:20 irregulars. All right, let's go look 1:44:22 there. Look at Vicky's aunt. She's going 1:44:25 to be like showing off like my aunt's 1:44:27 legs moves. What's wrong with 1:44:29 you? It's so It's just It's so rude. 1:44:33 It's so rude of her to talk like that, 1:44:35 you know? 1:44:40 That is 1:44:44 scary. Yeah, her [ __ ] aunt 1:44:48 moves. Show off. I'm rude. Get over 1:44:56 it. I love Gen Xers. Gen Xers are just 1:44:59 like, I'm not putting up your [ __ ] 1:45:01 Yeah, I'm [ __ ] rude. 1:45:06 Yeah, suck it up, 1:45:11 buttercup. Okay, back to midjourney. 1:45:13 Let's grab this 1:45:15 image. Let's look at how it did making 1:45:18 it. Oh, that's good. That's really 1:45:22 [Music] 1:45:28 good. All right, we'll download that bad 1:45:31 boy. Then we'll go back into Luma. We'll 1:45:33 go upload an image. We'll go grab the 1:45:36 new 1:45:38 one. We'll say insect 1:45:42 walks 1:45:46 menacingly. Boom. Then we'll go back to 1:45:48 Sora. See if that thing's doing its 1:45:51 [ __ ] thing. 1:45:53 Oh, holy [ __ ] They're all [ __ ] all 1:45:56 over the 1:45:57 place. That doesn't look so good. Looks 1:46:00 like someone 1:46:00 fumigated. Somewhat fumigated for the 1:46:04 alien insects in the lava 1:46:08 fields. Nice edit. Different 1:46:12 [Laughter] 1:46:16 bug. Still not 1:46:21 moving. There's a four-legged bug that 1:46:24 reversed 1:46:26 itself. Oh, good lord. Here's Sora. This 1:46:30 is what I expect out of Sora. Completely 1:46:32 unusable 1:46:37 [ __ ] Okay. And let's go to Lumalabs and 1:46:40 see if we got anything here. That's not 1:46:42 Lumal Labs, is it? Video AI. Here we go. 1:46:46 Yeah, it's still working. Oh [ __ ] I 1:46:48 didn't do it in Flash. We'll do another 1:46:50 one in 1:46:51 Flash. Um, 1:46:54 open Ray to Flash. 1:46:58 Oh, come 1:47:03 [Music] 1:47:06 on. Insect 1:47:11 walks 1:47:13 walks 1:47:16 menacingly. Check Discord. Okay. 1:47:21 Um, ready to flash. So, we'll do that. 1:47:24 We'll go back to 1:47:25 Discord. Here you So, I did a quick edit 1:47:28 to give it more space in the 1:47:31 frame. Okay. Yeah, I did that, too. But 1:47:34 did you 1:47:35 did did 1:47:37 you render it for me, you 1:47:40 [Laughter] 1:47:47 buttthead? Okay. Um, I'll just say 1:47:50 thanks. I'll just respond to him. Thumbs 1:47:52 up because that's a good aggressive Gen 1:47:55 X response. Probably just triggered him. 1:47:58 Sunshiny 1:48:04 day. I should probably respond to the 1:48:06 other dude, too. Sharky. Thanks, Sharky. 1:48:09 Hey, 1:48:10 [Laughter] 1:48:16 Sparky. All right, here we 1:48:19 go. I saw a leg move. 1:48:23 That one's sort of 1:48:25 moving. God 1:48:28 damn. It shouldn't be this 1:48:31 hard. Really shouldn't be this 1:48:45 hard. Boomers don't mess around. Oh, 1:48:47 Vicky's a boomer. 1:48:53 Starship troopers. All right, so this is 1:48:56 a big fat [ __ ] fail tonight, but 1:49:02 whatever. Elder millennials know better 1:49:04 than do the passive aggressive thumbs 1:49:07 up. Oh man. All right. Um, let me get 1:49:11 out of here. So, it's Friday. 1:49:15 Um, you want to do anything over the 1:49:17 weekend? 1:49:36 Yeah, that's good. Why don't you pop up, 1:49:39 Brandon? Talk about that stuff. 1:49:43 Yeah, I'll even come on camera since I'm 1:49:45 uh not going to be here all next week. 1:49:46 All right, cool. Beautiful. 1:49:49 Yeah. So, um, for those of you who 1:49:51 caught my post in, uh, coding in the 1:49:54 showand tell, uh, last night on the 1:49:57 live, we were talking about terms of 1:49:59 service and Kyle mentioned that, um, 1:50:03 GPTs are really good at kind of 1:50:04 summarizing those and reading those, and 1:50:07 you just take all this content, put it 1:50:10 into a um, LLM, and it'll just summarize 1:50:14 all the stuff for you. I'm like, copy 1:50:16 and paste was so 2023. I'm I'm don't 1:50:19 have time for that. But what I thought 1:50:22 of was that would make a really good 1:50:24 Chrome extension. And so I went over to 1:50:28 CHBT like how hard is it to build a 1:50:30 Chrome extension? It's like not hard at 1:50:31 all. Here's the code. Here's the steps. 1:50:35 And I said, okay, well, I know just 1:50:37 enough about programming in computers. I 1:50:40 don't know how to write code like that 1:50:42 in JavaScript and and it's not my vibe. 1:50:46 But I didn't have to write a single line 1:50:48 of code. GPT wrote all CHBT wrote all of 1:50:51 the code for me. Um and then it didn't 1:50:54 work. And so I said, "Hey, it didn't 1:50:56 work." And I uploaded the error messages 1:50:59 and it said, "Oh, well, my mistake. All 1:51:01 you need to do is fix this." So I copied 1:51:03 and pasted that and it walked me through 1:51:07 every step along the way. Amazing. And 1:51:10 in just under 4 hours, uh, I will go 1:51:13 ahead and share my screen because this 1:51:16 is worth sharing. 1:51:18 Um, 1:51:19 right to terms of service. So, I've got 1:51:22 my Chrome extension loaded and it is AI 1:51:25 toos analyzer. Before you click accept, 1:51:27 let's analyze the terms of service using 1:51:28 the power of AI. Hang tight. We're 1:51:30 diving into the legal mumbo jumbo. Hey, 1:51:32 we're not seeing we're not seeing your 1:51:33 screen. We're seeing AI salon and some 1:51:36 finder windows. 1:51:38 There we go. Yeah, there you go. So, 1:51:41 I've got it runs it when you land on a 1:51:44 terms of service 1:51:45 page, it goes uh up into the right and 1:51:50 automatically starts rendering and 1:51:51 analyzing. It does take a little bit 1:51:53 longer because I'm not actually paying 1:51:54 for free server space on render. Um, so 1:51:57 they they pause me when nobody's using 1:52:00 it, but if you wanted to try to 1:52:05 um Oh, hang on. Vicki is saying we're 1:52:07 not screen sharing. See, this is what I 1:52:09 can't produce and be part of the show at 1:52:12 the same time. But that doesn't make 1:52:13 sense. Like I'm seeing it like it should 1:52:16 correct. 1:52:18 Vicki, it sounds like it might be a U 1:52:20 issue. Um, so now it's got the terms of 1:52:24 service. It scanned them. Um, and it 1:52:27 walked me through all the steps like how 1:52:28 to create an account, how to patch in 1:52:30 GitHub, everything. like in four hours I 1:52:33 took this from idea to finished product. 1:52:36 And so it gives the key points here and 1:52:39 all of the red flags of what Tik Tok's 1:52:41 doing with your data. That's so if you 1:52:43 want to if you want to play along with 1:52:45 this um it is in the uh show and tell 1:52:49 under coding. I put the zip file in 1:52:52 Google Drive. So all you have to do is 1:52:54 download that, unzip it and add it to 1:52:57 Google Chrome extensions and it will 1:52:59 just work. 1:53:01 Brilliant. Um, also someone suggested 1:53:04 that I put the bug 1:53:07 um the bug up on irregulars for someone 1:53:12 else to try to get it to walk. I'm going 1:53:15 to do that as well. That's super cool. 1:53:19 Um, yeah. So it's it it's basically like 1:53:22 vibe coding that it feels like that to 1:53:25 me that for for a decently small idea 1:53:27 like that somewhere between two and four 1:53:30 hours is about the amount of time that 1:53:32 if you just go sort of down in that hole 1:53:34 and then it it's also the kind of thing 1:53:36 a lot of times those vibe coding tools 1:53:39 are um oh here let me move this over 1:53:41 here so you can see us um a lot of times 1:53:43 those vibe coding tools are you know 1:53:46 cranking through their cycles you can be 1:53:48 doing something else. So you might also 1:53:50 want to like dual vibe code. Do it in 1:53:53 two different tools and see if you can 1:53:55 get it, you know, get it to work in one. 1:53:58 And you know, the reason I'm coming up 1:53:59 here now is because we're talking about 1:54:00 weekend homework and we're talking 1:54:01 about, you know, Pete's demystifying AI 1:54:03 and uh the uh LOL uh weekend session on 1:54:08 Midjourney. I still don't have a full 1:54:12 understanding of what I built. Like I I 1:54:15 know it works. Yeah. I don't know how it 1:54:18 works. like I'm I'm a programmer light. 1:54:19 I'm a software architect by trade, but I 1:54:22 don't, you know, this is not my like if 1:54:24 you told me to go build this, I wouldn't 1:54:25 have a clue how to do this. And I built 1:54:28 it and I still don't know how it works. 1:54:30 Like it's very blackbox is my point. And 1:54:32 so, you know, for anybody who's 1:54:34 intimidated by the idea of like, I don't 1:54:36 know how to code. I've never written 1:54:38 code. I don't know what a Flask server 1:54:39 is. I don't know what GitHub does. You 1:54:42 almost don't need to know. Like I I get 1:54:45 in my car and I turn the key in the 1:54:47 ignition and some internal combustion 1:54:50 stuff happens or in my EV some battery 1:54:53 circuitry stuff happens. Yeah. And it 1:54:55 just drives and I just know I have to 1:54:57 put it in drive and then it I step on 1:54:59 the gas and it goes. We're almost at the 1:55:01 point with programming now with little 1:55:03 spin-up projects like this where you 1:55:06 just don't need to know and it it is 1:55:09 coming out of your head into the 1:55:11 program. Yep. And so I would encourage 1:55:13 you to go play. Yeah, I I would agree. 1:55:16 Um, of of all of the vibe coding things, 1:55:19 Lovable is the one that's the most um 1:55:22 sort of friendly, but it only does web 1:55:24 apps. If you want to do things like 1:55:25 browser extensions or actual code, then 1:55:28 you know, Replet or you know, cursor or 1:55:31 bolt. There's a bunch of them out there. 1:55:33 But I would encourage you to play with 1:55:34 it as it's almost like you're not you 1:55:37 know not just even if you're not 1:55:40 technical it's almost like you should 1:55:42 try vibe coding especially if you're not 1:55:44 technical is kind of where I feel it is 1:55:46 today like it's like why not like go see 1:55:49 how far you can get worst that can 1:55:50 happen is you make a crappy app that 1:55:52 doesn't work right and and more than 1:55:55 likely you'll make something that 1:55:56 actually works and you'll kind of blow 1:55:58 yourself away so yeah and I saw Pate 1:56:00 earlier was saying that his uh son was 1:56:03 doing 1:56:04 uh construction vehicles made of peanut 1:56:07 butters in in image journey or imaging. 1:56:10 So, you know, it's just the sometimes 1:56:12 you just have an idea and run with it 1:56:13 and the tools blow you away. But more 1:56:15 importantly, Kyle, are you going to be 1:56:18 okay without me here next week? No, it's 1:56:21 gonna be absolute [ __ ] chaos, but 1:56:22 I'll figure it out. Moderators, you're 1:56:25 on double duty next week. 1:56:28 work trip. But um I I did want to share 1:56:30 um I we don't have all the details 1:56:32 worked out yet, but the trip I'm going 1:56:34 on is a customer service convention. Uh 1:56:36 and it's all about AI in CX. And so I've 1:56:39 been talking with Vicki about putting 1:56:41 together a lull for the intersection of 1:56:44 AI and customer service when I get back 1:56:46 in April. Oh, that's great. So we're 1:56:48 trying to figure that out. More details 1:56:50 to come. All right. But, um, yeah, keep 1:56:53 keep coding and, uh, watch those terms 1:56:56 of service. Have a great weekend, 1:56:57 everyone. Yeah, exactly. Thanks, 1:56:58 Brandon. And, uh, have a great trip next 1:57:00 week. And, uh, yeah, I'm gonna have to 1:57:02 figure this [ __ ] out on my own, but 1:57:03 that's all right. Can you 1:57:06 please can you please record you saying, 1:57:09 "Hey, Kyle," for us? See, you're 1:57:12 starting to turn into a meme, Brandon. 1:57:14 Hey, Kyle. 1:57:18 Uh, hey, Kyle. Uh, let's see. Let's get 1:57:20 a soundboard going. Joker or Lord 1:57:22 Digital God's gonna soundboard going. 1:57:23 Hey Kyle. Uh, black bar. You're not 1:57:25 showing your screen. Tabs. Change your 1:57:27 tabs. Kyle. Tabs. Tabs. Hey Kyle. Kyle. 1:57:30 All we're seeing is Miro. Tik Tok pin. 1:57:32 Tik Tok pin. 1:57:35 All right, man. Have a good My my son uh 1:57:37 was wondering when the dog was going to 1:57:39 come back. By the way, I told him not 1:57:41 till Monday and he left. No, he's Yeah, 1:57:43 he's dead out. He's He's done. He's done 1:57:46 for the night. Good night, everyone. All 1:57:48 right. Cool. All right. So, everybody 1:57:50 have a great weekend. Uh, I'll see you 1:57:51 Monday and, uh, have have a fan 1:57:54 freakingtastic weekend. Um, yeah, go 1:57:57 vibe code. Go vibe. Do something. I 1:57:59 think it's not a bad idea at all.
