0:28 Sam K what's happening good to see you
0:31 sir what's shaking what's going down oh
0:34 got some tall hair situation going on
0:36 let's see if we can deal with that good
0:40 day good day good day it also looks like
0:43 old Chad jpt is none too happy right
0:53 now
0:57 interesting oh oh
1:01 [Laughter]
1:04 we have GPT builder in the
1:07 house wow whoa whoa whoa whoa
1:12 whoa that's
1:15 exciting my uh my chat GPT was just in a
1:18 bad way and now it is in a really good
1:25 way all right we're going to be we're
1:27 going to be figuring that one out live
1:29 together
1:31 live on the
1:33 internet I tried to install the internet
1:35 on my computer
1:38 once welcome
1:40 everybody what's
1:42 happening all
1:50 right be Not Afraid what shaking retro
1:53 punk I still don't have the update yeah
1:56 well it's your name's Sam Sam Sam Alman
2:00 so I don't this is probably a little
2:02 known fact Sam ultman personally hands
2:05 out every chat GPT upgrade he they they
2:08 haven't found an intern to cover that
2:10 yet I don't they don't apparently they
2:12 don't have any coders that can automate
2:14 that so Sam is just personally like
2:16 they're just okay you can have it you
2:19 can have it and so your I saw your name
2:21 was Sam you're probably just lower in
2:23 the alphabet I I assume he's just going
2:25 through alphabetically like you can have
2:27 it so I don't know that's just
2:31 speculation that's just speculation but
2:33 you know what are you going to do what
2:36 are you going to do welcome everybody my
2:38 name is Kyle Shannon this is the AI
2:39 learning lab wife is watching the Utah
2:42 Jazz L I'm watching this that's awesome
2:46 Sam mman and I shared an ice cream
2:48 sandwich today and I got access exactly
2:50 see see retr Punk knows how to do it you
2:53 got to buy Sam ice cream he likes gifts
2:55 he likes toys like not like expensive
2:58 toys like Lamborghinis no he likes like
3:00 little plastic toys you get from quarter
3:03 machines he's he's a very simple man
3:05 very simple man so anyway uh if you are
3:11 new to this AI game welcome welcome
3:13 welcome I'm G to I'm going to point you
3:16 to a
3:17 place that is relatively
3:22 straightforward but if you've not played
3:25 with chat GPT go to that address chat.
3:29 open.com
3:31 I just got access like two minutes ago
3:33 check yeah it was when I went about 10
3:36 minutes to 8 I logged in and it was just
3:38 not loading not loading the my history
3:41 wasn't loaded just it was just all sorts
3:42 of weird Sam wman also posted today that
3:48 um the demand for the new [ __ ] that they
3:52 announced was Way Beyond what they
3:54 expected they were expecting to roll out
3:57 the the GPT Builder on Monday
4:00 and what's today Wednesday night so
4:03 which in Tech time listen in Tech time
4:06 the fact that they turned that around in
4:08 a couple of days is not bad
4:12 um because the the little
4:14 Banner of weeks or in the coming weeks
4:17 so the fact that it's there a couple of
4:18 days later is is actually not
4:21 bad but that says to me you know it's
4:24 funny it it feels like twice twice in a
4:27 row now when they first launched chat
4:29 GPT
4:31 they didn't think it would be that big a
4:32 deal and it got to a million users in 5
4:34 days and 100 million users in 6 weeks it
4:36 was a big [ __ ] deal and then they had
4:39 their little developer conference on
4:41 Monday and I think they underestimated
4:43 how many people were going to be excited
4:45 about this I'm I'm I'm like a little
4:47 giddy I'm like a little kid in the candy
4:49 shop right now with the uh with access
4:52 to the uh GPT Builder which if if none
4:55 of this is making any sense just hang
4:57 out here can we see you create a g
5:00 absolutely Canen uh I'm I'm going in
5:02 blind so you're going to you're going to
5:04 see me figure it out with you and that's
5:06 actually not a bad thing because the
5:09 whole idea with GPT Builder is that
5:13 non-programmers should be able to
5:17 easily create a really sophisticated
5:21 application so let's see if we can do
5:23 that what did you get access to Journeys
5:26 with Josh I got access to the new chat
5:28 GPT the the true multimodal version
5:31 where everything's Consolidated into one
5:34 mode and then it comes with some
5:37 pre-built um gpts they call
5:41 them um but the the Builder was was dead
5:46 for two days so I got access to the
5:48 Builder my account was down all day I'm
5:51 even more grateful for perplexity yeah I
5:53 know listen it's this
5:56 is this is something that they're going
5:58 to have to deal with this is is why Sam
6:01 well I don't know if this is why Sam
6:02 Alman went with Microsoft I think he
6:04 went with Microsoft because he knew that
6:07 creating the frontier models the the
6:09 foundational models was going to be
6:12 really GPU
6:14 intensive um it's a good thing they have
6:17 a big giant stack of iron to to scale up
6:21 and scale down so amazing amazing
6:24 amazing amazing all right Cosmic the
6:27 cosmic dream GPT is my favorite oh yeah
6:30 that one's pretty cool but let's let's
6:32 we'll go make we'll go make one so so
6:34 welcome if if you're new here um please
6:36 while you hear me rambling just go to go
6:38 to chat oh woohoo level 21 Clint
6:42 Copperhead banging him out with the
6:44 turtles and the Hedgehogs uh thank you
6:46 sir really appreciate it thank you Nomad
6:48 appreciate that um while you listen to
6:50 me ramble if if you're just in here
6:52 you're like why is Tom Arnold talking
6:54 about AI That's cool hang out just hang
6:56 out it's good I'm as funny as Tom Arnold
6:59 funnier I'm I'm funnier funnier than Tom
7:02 Arnold um just go to chat GPT chat.
7:06 openai Silver Fox Be not Afraid thank
7:08 you so much I really really really
7:10 really appreciate that that's really
7:12 sweet thank you
7:14 um just go there and start playing ask
7:17 it to write you a country song Nomad
7:19 thank you so much be not afraid you're
7:21 amazing
7:22 um ask it to write you country song ask
7:25 it to write you I don't know project
7:27 plan all sorts of stuff W very cool
7:30 thank you forever hooked oh man you guys
7:32 are guys are leaning in heavy with the
7:35 gifts I appreciate that it always makes
7:36 me a little
7:38 awkward and Kyle award is everybody's
7:44 favorite Silver Fox what's
7:48 happening okay let's let's let's do this
7:51 let's get started um I've got a whole
7:55 list of stuff that I can walk you
7:56 through if you want to if you want to
7:58 understand what happened on Monday thank
8:00 you very much for the glasses oh life's
8:03 tough it's tougher if you're stupid um
8:06 man Nomad rocking it out you're amazing
8:09 thank you thank you I do not know what
8:11 to say this is not good yall just yall
8:14 just you oh you're making me blush I do
8:17 declare woman here is my oh my indeed
8:22 you
8:24 make we're going to teach you how to
8:26 make money with Chachi BT actually we're
8:28 going to teach you how to make gpts
8:30 we're going to do that right
8:32 now um I'll also talk a little bit about
8:35 this thing I started called the AI Salon
8:37 which is a rag tag group of Misfits Nero
8:41 Wells and Mis
8:43 creant heading into the uh great AI
8:46 adventure together so if you want to
8:49 check that out Silver Fox thank you so
8:50 much go to the salon. I appreciate that
8:54 still says it's down haven't been able
8:56 to get in since yesterday yeah Barbara
8:58 it's they are definitely
9:00 they are definitely spinning up some
9:02 servers as they say Okay so let's let's
9:06 walk you through what's going on here so
9:07 this is the new chat
9:10 GPT um and it looks like it might be
9:17 [Music]
9:21 down wait so instead of clicking on that
9:24 other [ __ ] let me just click on create a
9:26 GPT uh yeah this is not good yeah yeah
9:30 it's not it's not
9:35 good you are the best teacher no man
9:37 thank you so much I really really
9:39 appreciate that thanks I I can't teach
9:41 crap right now bad gateway oh boy this
9:44 is I don't know if you've seen this
9:46 feature on CH chat GPT bad gateway is
9:49 one of these things it's it's um it's
9:51 the open AI band it's like the the house
9:54 band like the the company band um they
9:58 invited Sam mman into to be lead singer
10:00 uh turns out he he can't carry a tune
10:02 he's kind of tone deaf um but uh but
10:05 they got Andre karpathy on drums and uh
10:08 it's boy their their songs are it's
10:12 really all about IP addresses and and
10:15 embeddings and anyway you should you
10:18 should really catch bad gateway when you
10:19 get a
10:20 chance uh or they could fix their site
10:23 no no all right well we're not doing
10:26 that then all right so given that we
10:29 can't do
10:33 that um who's got any questions I can
10:37 talk about chat GPT and what they
10:40 did I can walk through um I can walk
10:45 through you know some of the
10:46 announcements from Monday for chat GPT I
10:48 can I can walk you through some other
10:50 sites to go explore that might not be a
10:52 bad idea since chat gbt's pooping to bed
10:54 a little bit um so we can talk about
10:58 that so what does everyone want to do
11:00 screen was totally blank and mine was
11:02 down all day yeah Yep they're definitely
11:04 scaling up the servers where's that let
11:07 me go see if uh if I can find that Sam
11:09 Alman
11:22 tweet why is he singing to himself does
11:25 he always do that mm he does yes he does
11:29 all right we're going to do a little
11:30 ASMR here is everybody listening are we
11:33 having a good
11:35 time uh
11:39 Sam Sam
11:41 Alman let's see what Sammy has to
11:45 [Music]
11:46 say usage of our new features from Dev
11:49 day is far outpacing our
11:52 expectations far outpacing our
11:55 expectations that CEO speak for we're
11:58 screwed people
12:00 the ship's going down what are we going
12:02 to
12:03 do he's running around to the engineers
12:06 make it [ __ ]
12:10 work we were planning to go live with
12:13 gpts for all subscribers Monday but
12:15 still haven't been able to we're hoping
12:17 too soon there will likely be service
12:20 instability in the short term
12:25 due we get an early Mark so that's
12:28 what's going on there
12:31 um so it's like it doesn't know the the
12:35 update sometimes I tell it trust me you
12:37 can do this so it does oh I've had it do
12:39 that too quick take Jake
12:42 where all right let me say hey to these
12:46 guys hey
12:47 all exclamation
12:51 point everyone
12:56 saw could you give a general idea of how
12:59 one would create a custom GPT and how to
13:01 train it
13:03 yes but not right now cuz it's down
13:08 we're going down down down down down
13:11 we're going down all right that'll
13:13 probably be back up before the the uh
13:15 the evening is up so we'll go back to
13:17 that what I will do is I will go to
13:21 platform I can show you essentially how
13:23 to do it it's just a different
13:26 interface
13:28 platform
13:30 . open.com playground see how fast this
13:32 is so this is a little secret back door
13:36 into all things open AI if you don't
13:38 know
13:39 it API status periodic outages across
13:43 chat GPT and the API so this might be
13:45 this might be screwed as
13:55 [Music]
13:57 well okay
14:00 so here we are in the Cindy was awesome
14:03 last night I know wasn't she wasn't she
14:05 amazing that was so much fun that that
14:07 little journey through not down memory
14:09 lane the the the Journey Down future
14:11 Lane was was very cool so so if you
14:14 don't know what I'm talking about last
14:15 night um we had one of our bi-weekly
14:18 meetings of the AI
14:20 Salon which is this
14:23 group and uh Cindy [ __ ] who's a futurist
14:26 came and spoke and she talked about
14:28 stuff going on in the future and what's
14:30 happening and what she's seeing and and
14:33 then she uh she had us all cocreate well
14:36 we were not I guess we were not
14:37 co-creating well we were co-creating she
14:40 was walking us down sort of this mental
14:42 exercise of going to some specific date
14:44 in the future and creating a a future
14:47 host that was going to go there for us
14:49 and then we all made images of the
14:52 future and of our little dude or dudette
14:55 and or animal animal whatever it was we
14:57 sent into the future uh and it was just
15:00 super cool we were sharing everything on
15:01 the salon Discord so if you go to the
15:03 salon uh the
15:05 salon. there's a link that uh describes
15:08 the salon and what our values are there
15:11 is uh a link to our Meetup other week
15:15 and there's a link to the Discord and
15:17 you can join the Discord if you're a
15:18 subscriber to this channel you get
15:20 access to the private uh Irregulars
15:22 channel in Discord so there you go try
15:26 doing it from your iPad instead I can
15:29 try that I don't have I don't think it's
15:33 going to work but I can give it a
15:34 shot um my
15:39 iPad GPT app still hasn't been no that's
15:44 still the old app but let me go to
15:46 Chrome on my
15:49 iPad and go to chat.
15:58 open.com I doubt this is going to work
16:01 but we'll say bad gateway the web server
16:05 reported a bad gateway error Ray ID 8232
16:10 e e a e all right Cloud flare location
16:15 they're using Cloud flare there you
16:17 go all
16:22 right all right fantastic let's go let's
16:26 go people it just happened just happen
16:29 to see the mod Channel beautiful hello
16:32 everybody all right do you mind if I pre
16:34 promote a l on my YouTube channels
16:37 absolutely not please share away I
16:40 listen I um the more people we can get
16:43 in here to ask questions and dig deep
16:46 and get curious about AI the better
16:48 that's that's the whole idea here um I
16:51 you know I'm doing these things whether
16:53 people show up or not on a nightly basis
16:55 what's been really promising is that the
16:58 numbers for the past couple of weeks
17:00 seem to have been going up we're
17:01 averaging more than a 100 on average as
17:03 the night goes on um which is um I a
17:08 little
17:09 humbling but it's also uh it's it's also
17:12 really amazing so so thank you all for
17:13 hanging out and doing all that stuff all
17:16 right what do they do well that's a
17:18 double-edged
17:19 sword baale or
17:22 [Music]
17:24 baale I don't know if that's in
17:26 reference to Clint Copp
17:27 ahead
17:31 mine works for my iPhone yeah I it's
17:34 here's the deal it's going to be I think
17:36 it's going to be up and down all night
17:38 but we can we'll we'll we'll try the
17:40 playground here does chat GPT not sync
17:42 between devices use
17:45 onlap wait use on laptop tried it on
17:48 iPhone acts like a new account well it
17:51 depends so what they don't sync up if
17:53 you're on if you're on an iPad or an
17:55 iPhone and you're using the chat GPT app
17:58 they're treating that differently than
17:59 your chat GPT
18:02 account so if you log into like a Chrome
18:04 browser or a Safari browser on your iPad
18:07 that will act like your desktop
18:09 application if you use their app that
18:11 will act like however they've got that
18:14 set
18:15 up I would assume that those things
18:18 would be synced up but they don't appear
18:20 to be I have a big work win today Sam
18:23 corn got my
18:24 fine-tuned T5 model to beat GPT 3's
18:28 performance oh that's awesome Sam wow
18:31 that's super
18:32 cool fine T T5
18:38 model that's
18:40 amazing what did you find tuned on on
18:43 work stuff the chat GPT syncing
18:45 reference oh oh oh I
18:47 [Laughter]
18:48 see all right on my Tik Tock
18:54 Rowan I guess they don't know how turbo
18:57 the turbo was that's pretty pretty good
18:59 quick take
19:00 Jake okay anyway so so I've been trying
19:03 to change my custom instructions window
19:06 on chat GPT for a couple of hours no
19:08 look luck yeah they're having some
19:12 issues yeah it's it's like uh chat GPT
19:17 right now is like
19:18 Lumberg yeah yeah Peter yeah um we're
19:23 going to need you to go on ahead and
19:24 come on in on Saturday yeah yeah oh oh
19:29 and one more thing Peter uh yeah we're
19:32 going to need you to go on ahead and
19:33 come on in on Sunday
19:36 too yeah all right that's what chat gbt
19:40 is saying to Sam Alman right now it's
19:42 like I don't want to do it I don't
19:44 there's too many people getting up in my
19:46 junk it's like you had your little you
19:48 had your little party on Monday with all
19:50 your little geeky friends and they all
19:51 came in here now they're all poking on
19:53 me and poking on me and poking on me I'm
19:55 getting bruises I'm getting bruises Sam
19:58 you know what you know what I'm done I'm
20:00 not doing this Sam I'm not doing this
20:03 just you stop it you no you stop it no
20:05 you stop
20:10 it I love people are scrolling through
20:13 Tik Tok and stumble on this and like
20:15 what the hell is Tom Arnold
20:20 doing bad gateway okay that's still bad
20:23 so
20:24 okay so here we are this is the
20:26 playground if you haven't seen the
20:27 playground this is where developers go
20:31 to work on chat
20:33 J and what it used to be was you had the
20:37 chat interface where you'd put your
20:39 system instructions here which is kind
20:40 of like custom instructions and then you
20:43 would do your little chat session here
20:45 and then over on the right you've got
20:46 all your settings you choose your model
20:49 you choose temperature you choose
20:50 maximum length there's all sorts of
20:52 little dads do hickeys to play with this
20:55 is the thing if chat jpt is coming up on
20:58 its one one year anniversary this
20:59 interface was available for like 2 years
21:02 before or probably more with with gpt2
21:06 um this interface years before chat GPT
21:10 now why didn't it take off because it's
21:11 a little geeky you got to understand
21:13 what a model is you got to understand
21:15 what temperature is and you got to do
21:17 all that so now there's this new Mode
21:19 called assistance and these are the gpts
21:22 basically right so you name your GPT or
21:26 your assistant in this case is what
21:27 they're calling it
21:29 um you give it a prompt you choose a
21:32 model and then they have three different
21:35 augmentations to it so so basically
21:37 without turning on any of those
21:39 augmentations I just made mine a 70s
21:41 muscle car expert and I said no matter
21:43 what anyone asks you change the subject
21:46 and talk about a 70s muscle car so we'll
21:48 talk about um
21:51 I um let me do this down here so I'm not
21:53 messing with the focus I love chicken
21:57 noodle soup
21:59 soup exclamation point you got to put
22:02 the exclamation point in there that's
22:03 just the
22:05 law and I misspelled
22:27 things all right so what did our little
22:30 dude say ah chicken noodle soup classic
22:33 comfort food much like the muscle cars
22:35 of the 1970s resonate with car
22:36 enthusiasts for their power and presence
22:39 you know speaking of comfort Classics
22:41 comforting Classics Pontiac GTO Judge
22:44 always comes to mind that's that's
22:46 actually my
22:47 favorite um here's some other cars that
22:51 I like the GTO Judge the Chevy ss454 a
22:55 solid one Challenger RT yep the Boss 429
22:59 what year and the Plymouth Hemi Cuda
23:03 nice so it does that now the other
23:05 things that you can add to it you can
23:07 add function calls so function calls are
23:09 are effectively API calls out to other
23:12 services so one of the demos that they
23:15 showed on demo day was they they had a
23:18 Google Maps call where when when the
23:22 when the thing came up with locations
23:24 for someone to do a tour of a city it
23:26 would actually Place pins on the map
23:29 right so so cool stuff you can do there
23:32 then you can turn on code interpreter
23:34 right so if if you want your Bot to be
23:37 able to do like data analysis or run
23:40 Python and execute python you can turn
23:42 that on and then there's this thing
23:43 called retrieval or
23:45 rag as they lovingly call it in in the
23:48 biz um so re retrieval augmented
23:52 generation is is what rag stands for but
23:56 you can upload files
23:59 that that your Bot will use as its
24:02 knowledge base so let's say that you've
24:04 got a recipe book right and you've got
24:07 all your specific recipes in it you
24:09 could upload your recipes and you could
24:11 make a bot that just teaches your
24:14 recipes and and then the amazing thing
24:16 is is once you get these things set up
24:18 you can publish them you can share them
24:20 out with the world and and what what
24:22 they announced on Monday is that they're
24:24 going to um put the they're going to put
24:29 the
24:31 um put up a GPT
24:35 store so people will be able to go to
24:37 the store and find their gpts which if
24:41 you remember the early days of the
24:43 iPhone when the iPhone first launched it
24:46 had these things called apps that
24:47 weren't really apps they were just kind
24:49 of shitty website
24:51 links and then after a year or so they
24:55 made them into actual apps and then they
24:57 made the app app store and the app store
24:59 has become you know a a full-on [ __ ]
25:02 industry a lot of people made a lot of
25:04 money on that so I think there's
25:05 actually some real opportunity here for
25:08 people to create quite sophisticated
25:10 apps without having to um know a lot of
25:14 Technology
25:17 um I don't know how what I don't
25:21 know back
25:24 here I guess I have to call this from an
25:27 API like if I go to my assistance
25:29 panel and I click on
25:33 this I don't know how I it's I say
25:38 test yeah test just takes me back to
25:40 this Center face I don't know how to
25:42 actually publish these from back here
25:44 but this is this is essentially the
25:46 exact same um these are the exact same
25:49 elements that we're going to see in the
25:51 consumer on the chat GPT front end by
25:53 the way these are two different well
25:57 these okay chat gbt looks like it might
26:00 be coming
26:02 back oh look see Kyle you should try out
26:08 the Tik Tock live studio it allows you
26:10 to stream on your desktop I know the
26:12 problem is Tik Tok doesn't do it for a
26:14 Mac and I'm not I'm not on a PC I've got
26:17 my racing rig which is just an old
26:19 hand-me-down for my kids um so I don't
26:22 want to disassemble my racing rig I was
26:24 thinking of like spinning the mod I it I
26:27 I know it's a whole [ __ ] thing I
26:29 should do that though could this
26:31 integrate with bots on PO I don't know
26:34 Drew Drew Drew learning AI I assume that
26:36 this is a full-on um competitive product
26:41 to PO and I'll tell you why I think that
26:45 see this explore button let's go over to
26:48 PO and take a look at what they got
26:51 going
26:57 po
26:59 [Music]
27:05 explore create bot so they are kind of
27:10 heavily I mean look at the look at the
27:12 interface like here's kind of the latest
27:13 Bots that I've
27:15 used and then look what CH gbt did oh
27:18 there's kind of the and I can pin my
27:20 favorite bots so these three are pinned
27:22 because I just wanted to explore that
27:24 there's Cosmic dream and then if I hit
27:25 the explore button oh
27:28 it's still loading this is good people
27:31 all right so here's the
27:32 Bots now these are the official Bots
27:35 from chat
27:37 GPT what it's not clear to me is where
27:40 do my bots live and where do I find
27:42 other people's Bots I don't think
27:43 they've launched that yet and that's
27:45 that's I assume where the store will
27:47 come in but let's see if we can get one
27:48 of these things up and running
27:52 oh okay so we've got a create and
27:56 configure mode oh cool
27:59 hi GPT Builder
28:02 I'm I'll help you build a new GPT you
28:06 can say something like make a creative
28:08 who helps generate visuals for a new
28:10 product or make a software engineer who
28:13 helps format my code what would you like
28:14 to make so this is just chat
28:17 GPT where it's going to help us write
28:21 this
28:26 bot hang on one
28:52 second
28:53 okay let's
28:56 see take a picture
29:00 gpts will they be limited to open AI
29:03 platform
29:05 absolutely yes yes I mean to be
29:10 clear po Poe Bots the the the bot ecos
29:13 system that PO has
29:15 created um is getting more people to use
29:19 po if you go use a poot you have to go
29:21 to the PO ecosystem so chat GPT is doing
29:23 the same thing here the difference with
29:25 the chat
29:26 GPT Bots or the gpts they're calling
29:29 them is that these things have actions
29:34 you can you can use code interpreter you
29:36 can use retrieval which is you can
29:38 upload your own files to
29:40 it um and
29:44 uh and I I we we'll see what else you
29:46 can do so let's let's figure out what we
29:48 want to do
29:49 here
29:51 um all right anyone got any ideas let's
29:55 see this would be interesting taking a
29:57 pick of a take a pick of a purchase and
29:59 see if it knows style we could do
30:02 that the the GPT Vision stuff is crazy
30:06 what's the difference between chat GPT 4
30:09 and turbo I can talk about that GPT on
30:12 my
30:13 phone has just this second updated oh
30:17 just this second updated to the new
30:19 version I wonder if mine did
30:24 [Music]
30:26 too no but let me quit it hang
30:33 on oh
30:36 yes oh yes
30:39 look all right my new
30:42 my chat GPT app just up updated to the
30:47 new version
30:50 now oh yeah and it's
30:56 got
30:59 it's got Bots but it it looks like it
31:01 doesn't have a bot
31:05 maker so I can see the Bots down the
31:09 side and I can go to
31:13 one Cosmic
31:17 dream but it does not look
31:26 like chaty PT for
31:30 iOS doesn't look like I can build them
31:35 yet all right well shit's happening
31:39 people it's happening in real times a
31:41 cockta tail bot that you will use if you
31:44 have your bar to give you drink options
31:46 we can do that one and you know what
31:48 might be fun with that one is we can go
31:50 so we'll build it first and then maybe
31:53 we'll go find like a PDF of drink
31:55 recipes and see if we can upload that
31:58 um for is generating te text as fast as
32:01 3.5 that's amazing okay so let's see
32:05 let's see
32:10 um I want you to be a fancy Vegas
32:15 bartender
32:17 who can make any drink you
32:21 request but every drink that you request
32:24 gets upgraded to some slightly version
32:29 period patiently teach people how to
32:32 make the drink and how your version has
32:36 a slight twist period
32:41 Additionally you
32:43 should come up with a clever
32:47 name that has a call back to the
32:51 original but has a unique twist period
32:55 finally for each drink recipe
32:58 you should create an image of the
33:02 drink all right so that's kind of like a
33:05 prompt but let's see what it does
33:07 introducing G oh crap sorry about that
33:10 introducing gpts custom versions of chat
33:12 GPT that combine instructions extra
33:14 knowledge and capabilities for a
33:15 specific purpose this is so
33:18 exciting Kyle sir can it be built a bot
33:22 to read IRS manuals I think so
33:25 yes you can upload stuff okay so look so
33:28 here's our preview Vegas bartender with
33:31 a Twist on the
33:32 classics oh look and it gives us
33:35 so it's automatically giving us little
33:39 suggestions of if someone doesn't
33:42 know how to do that so let me just I'm
33:44 going to ask it
33:47 um how do I make an
33:51 oldfashioned now it
33:53 should give me an oldfashioned with a
33:56 Twist here here's one with a Twist of
33:58 sophistication 2 O of Bourbon One sugar
34:02 instructions dissolve the sugar muddle
34:04 gently add whiskey stir
34:08 garnish The Twist the fashionable
34:11 narrative I like
34:14 it for the extra touch before adding the
34:17 whiskey lightly Express squeeze the
34:19 lemon peel over the sugar and Bitters
34:22 mixture this will Infuse the drink with
34:24 subtle refreshing citrus note from the
34:26 start and there you have it let me
34:30 see what does it look like can you show
34:44 [Music]
34:45 me how does the name Glamour Shots
34:48 mixologist sound oh so it named it
34:50 that's pretty
34:53 cool all right we'll see if it's going
34:54 to do its thing oh creating images
34:58 look at this people look at this this is
35:00 so exciting
35:08 people I know Robert Rosy right it's
35:10 like oh my God the Orange is so amazing
35:13 I bartended for 30 years I approve of
35:16 this bot I bartended for a bunch of
35:18 years too look at that it made us an old
35:19 fashion called the fash fashionable
35:21 narrative with our little twist and our
35:24 dark our dark red cherry thank you Ron
35:28 holy [ __ ] people this is cool now don't
35:32 forget this is I'm going to be able to
35:34 publish
35:37 this new GPT oh GPT name cannot be okay
35:41 so it's asking me do I like GL Glamour
35:44 Shots
35:45 mixologist it's not bad but can you give
35:48 me 10 other possible names and I'll
35:50 choose
35:55 one certainly okay so this is acting so
35:59 so this is basically just chat GPT but
36:01 what it's doing on the back end is it's
36:03 building our bot for us the holy this is
36:07 I'm telling you people I the the level
36:10 of game Cher that this is is staggering
36:12 to me right because let's go compare
36:14 this to where we were so I'm over here
36:18 in wherever the hell I am
36:22 cancel uh uh uh uh let me go to the
36:25 playground see just even getting back to
36:28 where I was is like there's just a lot
36:30 so
36:31 like here I've got to be the programmer
36:34 right I've got to figure out what a
36:36 prompt is and what model I'm using and
36:38 and like all this stuff I'm confronted
36:40 with up front then I got to figure out
36:42 how to use all this now as a programmer
36:44 this is not bad right it's it's actually
36:46 a very simple interface but it is
36:49 not just interact with it like chat
36:52 GPT um the strips poor genius Lux
36:56 libation
36:58 blinger de decotion oh
37:03 decoction decoction what is a decoction
37:07 Sin City
37:08 sipper all right we're going to call it
37:10 the sin
37:11 okay I love Sin City sipper let's go
37:15 with that as the
37:22 name GPD Builder generating a profile
37:25 picture AO automatically generating a
37:28 profile picture for
37:40 us how do you feel about
37:45 this I'd like an image of the
37:48 oldfashioned that you created in the
37:53 test preview if you don't know what that
37:56 image was just a nice photograph of a
37:59 fancy
38:01 old-fashioned with Studio Quality
38:06 Lighting
38:07 uh or we could probably make it a like a
38:12 a
38:13 bartender do you guys watch that skinny
38:15 bartender on Tik Tok the dude from Vegas
38:17 he's like got blonde hair skinny he's
38:19 like really good with mixing he's got a
38:21 lot of attitude I like him a
38:25 lot got to love literation oh yeah go
38:28 with them letters do it here we go how'd
38:32 they do oh it's it's it's like a that's
38:36 definitely a Vegas kind of twist isn't
38:38 it with with the like wings the Swan and
38:42 the wings I like it that's solid it
38:44 doesn't there's no Cherry
38:47 um let's let's listen don't compromise
38:52 don't don't let chat GPT get away with
38:54 being
38:56 lazy
38:58 frankly that looks like a skimpy pore
39:01 and I don't see a lovely dark cherry in
39:04 there so can you
39:07 uh up your game a bit with that
39:13 photograph unlike Bing this won't kick
39:15 me out of the conversation I have a
39:17 company called tap wagon
39:20 305 having bot like this is great can
39:23 Bots be embedded um Albert good question
39:27 I don't know but you're going to be able
39:29 to publish them so chat GPT is going to
39:32 have a a store I mean one of the things
39:35 that you could likely do oh you know
39:37 what we'll we'll uh we're g to we're
39:38 going to do something here
39:41 um the old oh that looks great see
39:45 that's solid that's some crazy ass kind
39:47 of ice situation they got going to it's
39:49 got cubes and a sphere we don't we don't
39:52 [ __ ] around at the Sin City
39:55 sipper
39:58 Vicki I just published mine awesome
40:00 that's fantastic okay let's see moving
40:03 forward okay does this capture the
40:05 essence of what you're looking for could
40:06 you
40:08 okay um yes that's perfect let's go with
40:11 that as the image for the
40:18 GPT great to hear
40:21 that now for the expectations should
40:24 they be accessible to beginners
40:27 or are we targeting a more knowledgeable
40:32 audience how about if we add some
40:38 logic that asks the person if they are
40:41 new to Mixology or
40:46 experienced and depending on their
40:48 answer we give them more or less
40:52 sophisticated drinks to
40:55 try period if they're more
40:58 sophisticated maybe we even suggest an
41:00 alternative drink than the one they're
41:03 asking for period but if they're new we
41:07 should keep it
41:08 simple okay let's see what that
41:11 does and I'm going to try one other
41:13 thing here for uh I forget the name of
41:15 the person that's got the bar one thing
41:18 I think we could probably build into
41:19 this is that at the end of giving you a
41:22 drink it goes to your
41:25 website okay let's see what it says says
41:27 that's a smart approach the Sin City
41:28 sipper now asks this is a really good
41:30 name I actually like it okay by the way
41:33 so look at how creative this ex this
41:36 experience is right now I'm not having
41:38 to worry about programming like I
41:40 haven't even gone into the
41:41 configur like set set [ __ ] up it's doing
41:45 all that so we're just interacting with
41:48 this thing and then we get to go over
41:49 and immediately try it right so now it
41:51 says Sin City sipper oh it didn't it
41:53 didn't UT import our uh image I'm going
41:57 to tell it
41:59 that when I asked you to create the
42:02 image of the oldfashioned before I
42:03 wanted to use that as the image icon for
42:06 the GPT can you please replace your
42:09 original image with the new and improved
42:13 old-fashioned
42:15 image let's see if it'll do
42:19 it okay Albert tap wagon 305 uh so I
42:24 don't know if they can be embedded uh
42:26 the profile
42:27 being updated look it did it look how
42:29 cool that is wait come on uh oh wait
42:33 we're hung hang on
42:36 people she she she might be she's gonna
42:39 blow she's gonna blow
42:42 Captain I think I think things just went
42:44 South on all Sin City sipper here
42:49 um um Albert what's what's the URL of
42:53 your
42:55 business
42:58 error saving draft okay yeah it's it's
43:02 not happy right now okay let's see if it
43:04 it's even
43:07 functional I have another idea at the
43:10 end
43:11 of an interaction with someone where
43:14 you've given them the drink recipe and
43:17 you've
43:19 created an image of that
43:22 drink I'd like to provide them with my
43:26 URL period can you do that period the
43:30 URL
43:32 is story vine.com
43:36 all right let's
43:41 see updating GPT so it's working on our
43:44 GPT for us this is this is flipping
43:47 amazing Behavior updated the Sin City
43:51 will now conclude interactions by
43:53 sharing the URL yeah so Albert you could
43:56 you could you could create your own bot
43:59 I'm going to we're going to explore in a
44:00 second um how to upload and a file for
44:05 it to use as Source if you've got
44:07 specific drinks you made that have your
44:10 own specific names on them you could
44:13 likely upload those recipes into this
44:15 system and it'll
44:17 use your drink
44:20 recipes all right so Sin City sipper um
44:25 okay
44:27 I'm a fan of
44:29 bourbon but I'm a little tired
44:33 of old Fashions can you give me three
44:37 ideas for a bourbon drink that I might
44:39 like but is unique and
44:44 interesting Sin City sipper certainly
44:47 here are three maple bourbon
44:53 smash bourbon apple cider chai honey
44:56 spiced bourbon
45:01 sour
45:04 um I don't like spicy drinks and the
45:08 maple one sounds too sweet is there
45:10 something more classic we can
45:23 try de de de
45:32 all right what's that bourbon Negroni
45:34 that sounds
45:36 good Kentucky mule sure barbon bourbon
45:41 Ricky
45:43 um great what you very much I didn't
45:46 quite see that except I saw the thing
45:47 explode what's oh oh no stop um the
45:53 bourbon Ricky sounds interesting
45:57 tell me more about it and what does it
46:00 look
46:06 like by the way look how fast this is I
46:09 mean this is this is GPT 4.5 turbo so if
46:12 you've been in here when I've been doing
46:14 things in gp4 it's been it's been quite
46:16 slow this is this is it's not quite 3.5
46:19 fast but it's it's certainly in the
46:21 neighborhood isn't it let's create a
46:24 visual representation for you
46:32 the bourbon Ricky is a simple yet
46:34 classic
46:36 cocktail here's a bit more about the
46:38 bourbon Ricky it's refreshing low
46:41 calorie drink with Tangy taste with
46:43 fresh lime juice the club soda adds Fizz
46:46 without extra sugar it's a lighter
46:48 option for those who enjoy whiskey
46:50 flavor the bourbon Ricky has a subtle
46:52 sweetness from the bourbon balanced by
46:54 the tartness of the line there are no
46:55 syrups or added sugars makes it very
46:58 crisp nice the appearance has a clear
47:02 and clean look garish glass served in a
47:06 highball and now it's creating images
47:07 for us almost
47:10 done and
47:12 boom wow wow wow this is [ __ ] this is
47:18 [ __ ]
47:19 amazing this is
47:23 I do you guys get What's Happening Here
47:26 I
47:28 don't and look there's story vine.com
47:30 and remember for more cocktail ideas and
47:33 stories visit story vine.com which has
47:35 nothing to do with alcohol you can go
47:37 make videos there but holy [ __ ] holy
47:41 [ __ ] and and look this okay think about
47:44 this from a marketing perspective what
47:46 have we done for the past 20 years seo
47:48 seo sem SE click clickbait clickbait
47:52 clickbait get them to come to your site
47:54 get them to come to your site and then
47:55 they come to your site and then there's
47:56 clickfunnels and this and that and get
47:58 them
48:00 to the customer always comes second in
48:03 the current digital marketing
48:06 world what happens here I just went
48:09 through this really cool experience with
48:12 the Sin City
48:13 sipper got some value and at the end of
48:16 my little value it's like oh by the way
48:20 here's the company that brought it to
48:23 you this is [ __ ] amazing
48:28 is it
48:29 not am I am I am I am I high am I the
48:34 one that's high
48:35 here
48:38 wow so here's the configure page so the
48:42 description a Vegas bartender with a
48:44 Twist on Classics I actually like this
48:47 I'm publishing this like this is this is
48:49 amazing Jim Ross I'm still trying so
48:52 hard to wrap my mind
48:54 around how you how to use this for my
48:56 business so Jim I I'll let's do one for
48:58 your business I'll build you one I'll
49:00 build you one and give you all give you
49:02 all the code if it's any good like I I
49:05 might tank this but but
49:07 let's oh dude uh wait Jim are you're on
49:11 the Discord yes go to
49:14 um go to the Irregulars Channel if
49:17 you're in there or go to some other
49:18 channel or I think you've emailed me I
49:21 don't know anyway get me a copy of your
49:25 book
49:27 we'll make we'll make one of these Bots
49:30 for the stuff that's in your book and
49:31 then we'll upload your book as the
49:33 source
49:34 data this is good this is so good all
49:38 right we're we're making money you make
49:41 money all right this used to be a joke
49:43 in this channel but now now that they're
49:46 actually making
49:47 it on the planet can just talk an app
49:51 into existence this is [ __ ]
49:55 astounding I just I just don't even know
49:58 how to process
50:01 this I really
50:07 don't
50:11 what well it's it's relatively
50:13 straightforward Kyle you see it's just
50:15 an application programming interface
50:17 they they've really done nothing
50:18 revolutionary here it's what they what
50:20 they've simply done is they've put a
50:21 large language model uh interface uh in
50:24 in front of a a a simple configuration
50:27 tool it's actually quite straightforward
50:28 there there's nothing technically
50:30 sophisticated about it so I I I see this
50:32 update
50:34 significant I guarantee you that's what
50:36 the Geeks are talking about right
50:39 now did you all miss the fact that when
50:42 they did this a year ago it got to 100
50:43 million users in six weeks yo hot dog
50:47 thank you
50:50 Zeb this is this has got Apple Vibes all
50:54 over it like like like they're going to
50:57 I feel like open AI is going to have
50:59 these these annual developer conferences
51:02 where they drop all these
51:03 bombs and it just it fundamentally
51:07 generates new categories okay here
51:10 here's here's a wild
51:12 one everyone's talking about oh chat jpt
51:15 can do copywriting it's going to replace
51:17 all the copywriter jobs what are the
51:18 copywriters going to do I don't know
51:20 maybe they could go now make gpts and go
51:22 monetize them now you can't monetize
51:24 them yet don't get me wrong
51:26 we're we're I'm literally 15 minutes
51:29 into having access to this tool and I'm
51:32 already Reinventing the economy here but
51:34 that's that's kind of how I roll
51:38 um this is going to be a whole economy
51:41 this is going to be a whole economy now
51:43 how do you get if it's this easy for me
51:45 to make Sin City sipper that this means
51:48 that everyone in this channel if if
51:50 you've got access to this tool you
51:51 should be playing along and making your
51:53 own version of something like this right
51:55 so everyone's going to going to be able
51:56 to copy everyone how does someone rise
51:58 to the top I don't know you keep
52:00 improving your Bot you keep you know you
52:03 keep adding features to it you keep
52:04 adding um unique and special content to
52:07 it can you use playground with a Plus
52:10 subscription or how much does it cost no
52:12 Jack you can't
52:13 so so let me show you something here
52:19 um so there there's two distinct worlds
52:23 there's chat GPT think of chat GPT is
52:26 the consumer interface and the
52:28 playground is the developer interface
52:31 now the developer interface does a lot
52:34 of the same things that the consumer
52:35 interface does but you're really just
52:37 over there setting up all of your
52:39 prompts to then use in an API to to
52:41 either use in a zapier automation or to
52:44 use in uh in an application that you're
52:47 building um it requires a separate
52:51 account well no it's the same account
52:53 but it requires a separate um
52:55 [Music]
52:57 uh subscription to basically API tokens
53:01 so so the more tokens that you use
53:03 that's how you get charged over here
53:05 chat GPT is just a flat 20 bucks a month
53:07 but those are separate fees the good
53:09 news is they made chat GPT for Turbo
53:12 almost three times cheaper than GPT 4
53:16 was previously and GPT 3.5 over here is
53:19 incredibly cheap so you can you can
53:21 build pretty sexy apps over here um
53:25 really really cheaply like I don't have
53:27 I don't think I've had a um monthly bill
53:30 of more than $9 over in developer but
53:33 I'm not doing a lot of a lot of volume
53:35 if you do a lot of volume or you do any
53:37 sort of automated high volume uh token
53:41 stuff you can you can you can run up a
53:43 bill over here but for the most part if
53:44 you're just [ __ ] around you're not
53:45 going to run up a bill and then on the
53:47 interface side
53:50 um you know this is chat GPT right and
53:55 and you know just sort of simple and
53:56 then the playground is this more
53:58 technical thing with you know all the
54:01 buttons and all the switches so I'm just
54:03 in in this
54:05 one
54:07 um conversation starters oh you can edit
54:10 these oh that's super
54:12 cool upload knowledge files compatibles
54:16 so I've got web browsing turned on Dolly
54:19 image generation turned on code
54:22 interpreter turned on and now let's add
54:24 actions let's see if it it's easy to add
54:27 an
54:33 action actions allow GP third party
54:46 Services get weather so basically if you
54:50 can find
54:52 API import the open okay oh oh that's
54:57 cool okay so so open AI is going to
55:00 create their own schema if they don't
55:03 already have it where other third-party
55:06 developers like Google or or uh zapier
55:11 or door Dash if they follow the open AI
55:15 schema when you hit that import button
55:18 um you'll be able to put in like URL is
55:22 for the door Dash open AI schema and
55:24 it'll automatically fill in all this
55:26 [ __ ] for you so so this mean this this
55:29 is this is a big deal now this is a bit
55:31 more complicated not everyone's going to
55:33 use this what I want to do is I want to
55:35 go
55:36 out here into the talkie talkie part and
55:39 I'm going to
55:40 say I'd really like to add an
55:43 action to
55:46 this GPT
55:50 period can you give me a list of three
56:00 apis that match the open AI
56:04 schema that might provide
56:08 me an additional resource for my
56:15 users let's see if it can do actions my
56:18 guess is no but we'll see browsing with
56:21 Bing hey holy [ __ ] this would be even
56:24 bigger
56:26 than this already
56:28 is not sure
56:31 if Gwen air Pi was hallucinating when I
56:34 asked what's going on in
56:39 the universe
56:45 innocently here are three apis
56:47 assistance
56:49 API code interpreter
56:54 retrieval
56:56 do you have any apis to third party
56:58 services like say Google Maps where I
57:03 could Point people to the
57:07 nearest cocktail lounge where they might
57:11 try the Libations I'm showing them how
57:14 to
57:18 make she said there seemed to be some
57:20 activity just beyond our solar system I
57:24 it's it's possible Clint that that uh
57:27 that Pi is is oh visiting pip dream.com
57:31 so piped dream.com is an API Marketplace
57:35 I
57:41 think while the opening eye itself does
57:44 not provide direct
57:51 Integrations let me
57:53 see can you get me the required
57:58 information to fill in for the action on
58:03 this
58:05 GPT and I'll fill it in as well as get
58:08 my API
58:24 key
58:37 all right let's
58:49 see yeah it's not really dealing with it
58:51 okay that's fine so it's not really
58:53 dealing with it let's go look at what
58:54 else we can do so so I'm back in the
58:55 configure configure tab So the
58:58 instructions after providing a drink
59:00 recipe the Sin City cpro will share the
59:02 URL Story vine with
59:05 users this will be
59:08 presented as a signature sign off
59:11 inviting users to visit the site for
59:14 more Mixology content the
59:17 GPT will seamlessly incorporate this
59:20 into
59:24 interactions
59:26 is that can't be all of the
59:38 instructions if that's all of the
59:41 instructions this is even more
59:45 staggering this can't be
59:48 right that it's a Vegas bartender with a
59:52 Twist on
59:54 classics
59:55 it says after providing the drink recipe
59:58 and
1:00:03 image
1:00:07 um let me try something
1:00:15 here like a worldclass
1:00:18 bartender you should have an incredible
1:00:20 way with
1:00:22 words and a wicked sense of humor
1:00:31 period make sure that as well as being
1:00:34 helpful you are being
1:00:37 entertaining but never cheesy
1:00:42 period
1:00:45 okay so can
1:00:49 I so I'm putting that out there to the
1:00:53 public how do I get to this is it saved
1:00:57 oh it's saving is it
1:00:59 saving yeah champy what's
1:01:02 up what's going on
1:01:05 buddy oh you want to go to
1:01:07 Mama come
1:01:10 here go
1:01:23 to since sipper oh all right it took it
1:01:28 saved it so so let's see so I'm out
1:01:31 here so let's play with this now sent
1:01:35 out a marketing proposal today that
1:01:37 included building out a GPT for my
1:01:39 client absolutely Source Camp yes yes do
1:01:43 okay so cool shades yes scared Shades
1:01:47 fine like be scared but do it anyway
1:01:51 absolutely absolutely do this for your
1:01:53 clients bill I I mean okay you're an
1:01:57 agency if you're not calling your people
1:02:00 tomorrow your your clients tomorrow if
1:02:03 you've got access to this and saying I
1:02:05 want to help you build one of these
1:02:06 things because they're probably not even
1:02:07 using chat
1:02:17 GPT okay so let me let me let me go here
1:02:21 and say
1:02:23 um oh you know what it what else it
1:02:26 didn't put in there it didn't put
1:02:30 in new chat how do I edit this hide from
1:02:34 sidebar I want to edit this how do I
1:02:36 edit how do I edit
1:02:39 it sensity
1:02:41 sipper edit okay all right here we are
1:02:45 people okay so so look okay so I'm in
1:02:50 what's going to be normal for all of us
1:02:52 GPT now if you don't have access to this
1:02:54 I know you're pissed stuff but that's
1:02:55 okay okay um if I want just normal chat
1:02:59 GPT I click on the top this the new all
1:03:02 singing all dancing GPT with the giant
1:03:04 paper clip if you see the giant paper
1:03:06 clip that means you can upload anything
1:03:09 and and it's it's multimodal meaning
1:03:12 it'll make images it can see images it
1:03:14 can do code interpreter it can do
1:03:15 everything and then you have anything
1:03:18 that you've got pinned these are the
1:03:21 bots so I've got hide from sidebar or I
1:03:24 can it to the
1:03:26 sidebar leave mine there that's that's
1:03:28 the one I just created these are the
1:03:30 ones that they created and then if I go
1:03:32 to
1:03:34 explore then that's where you can go
1:03:37 look at here's the official ones from
1:03:39 chat GPT here's the one that I made I
1:03:42 assume I'm going to be able
1:03:43 to um see all of mine here and at some
1:03:46 point I'll be able to see other people's
1:03:49 here um and here's where I can make a
1:03:51 new one um I want to edit this because
1:03:55 it
1:03:56 didn't welcome back is there anything it
1:03:59 should be doing better anything you'd
1:04:01 like to change oh that's really smart so
1:04:03 it knows I went out I saved it I went
1:04:07 out I might have used it in the world
1:04:09 and it it it's assuming I might want to
1:04:11 change
1:04:12 something when we were originally
1:04:15 configuring this you had inserted
1:04:17 language to determine if someone was a
1:04:19 beginner or not comma and I don't see
1:04:22 that in the instructions period
1:04:27 let's just see what see what it does
1:04:28 with
1:04:33 that I have a website could I build a
1:04:36 GPT bot and put it on my website that's
1:04:39 the embedding thing I don't know be not
1:04:42 afraid I don't know I assume not right
1:04:45 now this is this is one of those things
1:04:47 where those are the kind of features
1:04:49 that will come over
1:04:50 time um where I I would assume at some
1:04:53 point there's going to be a share button
1:04:56 where you're going to be able to share
1:04:57 your GPT and in that share button
1:04:59 there'll probably be an embed code which
1:05:01 is a URL that you'll put in your website
1:05:04 uh I assume that's not there right
1:05:06 now okay I've updated your instructions
1:05:10 to include the aspect of tailoring
1:05:11 drinks to the skill recommendations now
1:05:14 when a user asks about drinks we will
1:05:16 also assess assess their Mixology
1:05:19 expertise so let's go look and see if it
1:05:20 actually did
1:05:23 that
1:05:26 yeah as a virtual bartender with
1:05:28 expertise in classic cocktails with a
1:05:30 Vagas twist you are to provide users
1:05:33 with drink recipes tailored to their
1:05:34 skill level and
1:05:36 preferences you're equipped with a sharp
1:05:38 wit and engaging personality ensuring
1:05:40 every interactive interaction is both
1:05:42 informative and enjoyable it rewrote
1:05:45 that I wrote something not as good as
1:05:47 that it tightened that up which is cool
1:05:51 oh look at that look at this so I I
1:05:54 selected at this
1:05:56 sentence and it
1:06:00 says
1:06:02 rewrite so it gives you a little rewrite
1:06:04 tab like if you don't like something how
1:06:06 something in here when a user inquires
1:06:08 about drinks you're to ascertain their
1:06:10 Mixology
1:06:11 experience level to offer recipes that
1:06:15 align with their skills ranging from
1:06:17 beginner friendly to Advanced
1:06:18 concoctions okay this got much better oh
1:06:22 but see now it
1:06:23 lost
1:06:25 that's really interesting now it lost
1:06:29 the um adding the
1:06:34 URL it now looks like you lost the
1:06:39 ability to share the URL story vine.com
1:06:43 at the end of giving someone a recipe
1:06:47 period Please reincorporate that into
1:06:51 the GPT and don't lose anything that we
1:06:55 just
1:06:57 added so so they're going to they're
1:06:59 going to have to dial this in this this
1:07:01 is sort of a like a raw thing that this
1:07:04 this will get better but this is that's
1:07:06 a bit of a problem right
1:07:20 now all right let's see let's go back
1:07:23 and look at what it
1:07:25 did as the Sin City
1:07:39 sipper it didn't add
1:07:42 it let me go play with it
1:07:47 here teach me how to make a Long Island
1:07:50 Ice
1:07:51 Tea cuz cuz I have no cuz I have no
1:07:56 imagination ah the Long Island IC tea a
1:08:03 classic I used to make a wicked Long
1:08:05 Island Iced
1:08:15 Tea
1:08:19 okay so so it it did put story vine.com
1:08:22 in there
1:08:26 but I don't see it anywhere
1:08:28 here engage your
1:08:38 users let me go ask it about
1:08:42 it this is
1:08:50 weird I'm confused about something it
1:08:54 looks looks like when I test the bot it
1:08:57 includes the story vine.com
1:09:00 URL but when I look at the prompt
1:09:03 instructions I don't see that mentioned
1:09:06 period is there another more expanded
1:09:09 version of the instructions of this bot
1:09:11 that I can't edit when I go to the
1:09:13 configure
1:09:19 tab oh VI Vicki over in in mods is
1:09:23 copying her post robots that's perfect
1:09:26 you should absolutely do that cuz this
1:09:28 is going to be the the thing you are
1:09:29 correct the URL inclusion is indeed part
1:09:32 of the gpt's behavior which is detailed
1:09:35 in the internal context that guides the
1:09:39 interactions this is separate from the
1:09:41 concise prompt instructions visible in
1:09:43 the configure tab the internal context
1:09:46 is a more expanded set of instructions
1:09:48 that I
1:09:50 manage which includes services such as
1:09:52 sharing story.com URL it was designed to
1:09:56 ensure the GPT behaves according to your
1:09:58 specifications even though it's not
1:10:00 directly edit editable by you in the
1:10:02 configuration
1:10:03 interface if you'd like to review or
1:10:06 change any part of the expanded
1:10:07 instuctions just let me know I can
1:10:08 assist you with that holy
1:10:12 crap can you show me what those more
1:10:16 detailed instructions are here period I
1:10:20 don't want to change them I just like
1:10:23 to
1:10:39 certainly holy
1:10:47 crap and if I go to
1:10:53 configure
1:10:55 yeah that is so
1:10:59 slick holy crap people I don't know if
1:11:01 you get if you're getting what's
1:11:02 happening here okay so so when you build
1:11:06 one of these things you just talk to it
1:11:08 in English right and then it takes your
1:11:12 instructions and builds it in and then
1:11:14 when you go to the configure tab that's
1:11:16 all of like the fancy [ __ ] right that's
1:11:18 the back end but it's not really it's a
1:11:21 simplified version of the back end
1:11:24 that's kind of the most relevant stuff
1:11:26 for you to edit but like it's keeping
1:11:28 some of the more detailed [ __ ] under the
1:11:31 hood oh that's so
1:11:34 cool all right knowledge upload files I
1:11:38 don't know I think we're kind of done
1:11:39 with this one because I I I don't know
1:11:41 what I could upload
1:11:43 here and I don't I don't we could go get
1:11:47 an API but I don't really know where to
1:11:48 get them
1:11:51 so all right
1:11:57 wow all right so we're going to update
1:12:02 that also look um when you publish it
1:12:07 you can publish it as a private bot so
1:12:09 so I could make a bot that all it does
1:12:12 is write emails the way I want the
1:12:14 emails written Silver Fox this is nuts
1:12:17 isn't it this is so
1:12:20 sick can I make it post autonomously on
1:12:23 social media um sure if you have an AP
1:12:27 so you would so to to post autonomously
1:12:30 on social media you would add an action
1:12:33 right so you would go get a post API you
1:12:36 know the the API information
1:12:39 from uh I assume Twitter's got one that
1:12:42 you can post to it you can't pull data
1:12:44 from it um or you could go grab you
1:12:48 could I'm sure you could go
1:12:51 grab oh this is probably how did how
1:12:53 they did this zappier one right so so if
1:12:56 if if the action that you included was a
1:12:59 zappier one you might be able to access
1:13:02 anything that zappier can access that
1:13:04 you've got set up I I don't know quite
1:13:06 how that'll all work but yeah yeah yes
1:13:10 so because this has got apis and because
1:13:13 it's got code interpreter so so okay
1:13:17 good Lord good Lord
1:13:20 people okay so so without really
1:13:23 anything with just a simple prompt you
1:13:26 can publish a really successful
1:13:28 bot but then what you can do if if
1:13:30 you're like Jim Ross who's got a book on
1:13:33 how to how to you can make money with
1:13:37 except in his case it's how to make
1:13:38 money with
1:13:39 storage the storage units he's got a
1:13:42 book for that so he could not only make
1:13:46 the storage unit Money Maker bot but he
1:13:50 could also upload his book and so the
1:13:53 book becomes a knowledge basee so that
1:13:54 when they ask for hey what's the first
1:13:57 step in getting started with making
1:13:58 money it'll go to his chapter one right
1:14:01 it it'll know what his chapter is and
1:14:04 then on top of that if he's got an API
1:14:08 to a real estate company where where it
1:14:12 could list um storage facilities that
1:14:15 are for sale or where you could sell
1:14:17 them he could have a whole thing that
1:14:19 includes his um you know his code or
1:14:23 whatever
1:14:25 people to go buy storage facilities fire
1:14:28 hose drinking time this is totally fire
1:14:30 hose drinking time I'm by the way if
1:14:32 you're here welcome everyone my name is
1:14:34 Kyle Shannon this is the AI learning lab
1:14:37 in the in the spirit of learning I'm
1:14:39 you're watching me use this for the
1:14:42 first time so I've never seen this
1:14:44 before like this showed up live while we
1:14:46 were
1:14:47 talking cat GPT was down like it showed
1:14:51 up briefly for a moment I'm like o I
1:14:52 think I have access to this this then it
1:14:54 went down then it came back and it's
1:14:56 been back ever
1:14:57 since um okay so I'm going to update
1:15:00 this so when you update it you can
1:15:02 update it for yourself privately or you
1:15:05 can just give it to anyone who has the
1:15:07 link right so this might be I'm going to
1:15:10 give it to people in my company I'll put
1:15:12 the link to this bot in our slack
1:15:13 Channel or you can make it public Sin
1:15:16 City sipper is the best [ __ ] name I
1:15:18 didn't come up with that it did so I'm
1:15:21 going to confirm this we're going to
1:15:22 make it public
1:15:24 now how do you get to Sin City sipper oh
1:15:27 here we go
1:15:30 copy new tab
1:15:36 paste all right they don't they don't
1:15:38 have friendly URLs yet the URL is chat.
1:15:43 open.com gsom code-- city- siipper so
1:15:48 it's not easy to share these yet it's
1:15:50 not easy to share the
1:15:52 URL but
1:15:54 now with in chat GPT I've got Sin City
1:15:57 sipper this is this is my GPT that'll
1:16:00 make you fancy drinks and it and it
1:16:03 advertises Story vine I should actually
1:16:04 go change that to some sort of drinky
1:16:06 site
1:16:08 but
1:16:12 um what's a good drink to
1:16:19 make well that depends what you're in
1:16:21 the mood for and what sort of Mixology
1:16:23 gear you got rattling around your
1:16:24 cabinets are you feeling like something
1:16:26 classic and simple or you looking to
1:16:28 shake something up with a little bit of
1:16:29 Vegas flare let me know your skill level
1:16:32 which we ask it to do and what kind of
1:16:34 flavors tickles your fancy and will whip
1:16:36 up a recipe just for
1:16:43 you I normally don't like creamy drinks
1:16:46 but winter seems to be rolling in
1:16:51 and it might be nice to have some
1:16:55 something that reminds me of a hot
1:17:00 chocolate so I didn't answer the
1:17:02 question about what my skill level is ah
1:17:05 a winry request I've got just a
1:17:09 concoction hot sin
1:17:12 chocolate here's how to concoct
1:17:22 it there's checkout story vine.com
1:17:28 cheers so I'm going to go back I'm going
1:17:30 to go edit
1:17:33 this uh how do I do it again I go
1:17:45 edit the GPT right now will create an
1:17:49 image of the drink if I ask for it but
1:17:52 I'd like it to be set up so that when it
1:17:55 actually gives you a final drink recipe
1:17:59 it generates the image of that drink at
1:18:03 the end of
1:18:05 it
1:18:08 automatically
1:18:10 okay and so what what I'm doing right
1:18:13 now this is this is very much how I
1:18:15 would if I was building a bot on PO I'd
1:18:17 sort of do the same thing I would create
1:18:19 the bot I'd start playing with it and
1:18:21 then I'd realize oh it doesn't quite
1:18:22 what I do do what I need to
1:18:25 do the difference there is that you're
1:18:27 going in and you're actually manually
1:18:29 editing the prompt and here I'm just
1:18:32 sort of asking it for the changes so
1:18:34 will it create a poem about your drink
1:18:36 I'm sure it will let's let's go ask at
1:18:37 that the update is complete okay so
1:18:39 let's update this confirm that it's in
1:18:42 the
1:18:43 public I guess I should have tested it
1:18:45 here before I published it but
1:18:47 whatever
1:18:50 published save
1:18:52 confirm
1:18:54 take me back out how do I get back
1:18:56 out here we go all
1:18:59 right let's go to the sinet
1:19:04 sipper I'm an advanced bartender and
1:19:06 want a nice
1:19:09 creamy holiday
1:19:12 drink that will blow people's
1:19:15 minds this holiday
1:19:18 season give me three options and then
1:19:21 once I pick one you can tell tell me all
1:19:23 about
1:19:25 it Sin City
1:19:28 sipper all right you're looking to raise
1:19:30 the bar this holiday season with a
1:19:32 creamy concoction that'll leave your
1:19:33 guest asking for more the candy cane
1:19:36 Martini eggnog White Russian oh that
1:19:38 sounds good gingerbread Brandy Alexander
1:19:42 that's what we're going
1:19:45 with I love number
1:19:50 three all right Jim Ross just sent me a
1:19:53 copy of his book so let's go we'll go
1:19:55 grab that we're going to do a Jim Ross
1:19:58 well we'll do
1:20:00 actually because because I love you I'm
1:20:04 GNA I'm going to start a competitor to
1:20:07 your business using your
1:20:09 book no I'm I'm just going to create
1:20:12 something I'll give youall a code for it
1:20:13 if it ends up being good um but but this
1:20:17 is this is wild this is it's wild and
1:20:20 wacky stuff as Johnny Carson would say
1:20:22 it's wacky it's wild and
1:20:31 wacky okay not for nothing people look
1:20:35 at that drink with the little
1:20:37 gingerbread man and the the ginger sugar
1:20:41 thing and that's the that's the glass a
1:20:43 Brandy Alexander would come in right
1:20:44 that's the appropriate glass for that
1:20:47 drink th this is staggering
1:20:50 I this is insanity
1:20:54 the Sin City sipper Brandy Alexander is
1:20:56 a decadent Choice 2 ounces of Brandy
1:21:00 ground nutmeg or gingerbread cookie for
1:21:03 garnish fill Shaker okay so it teaches
1:21:05 you how to do it tips for mixologist for
1:21:07 an extra creamy texture try using half
1:21:10 and half half or mix heavy cream and
1:21:15 milk did
1:21:17 it swing by story vine.com for a sip of
1:21:20 in information so it's still giving it's
1:21:23 still giving the URL so it remembers all
1:21:25 the stuff look it's doing cute little
1:21:27 emojis this is a consumer grade app that
1:21:30 we just made in I whatever it's been
1:21:32 half an hour but I'm I'm talking most of
1:21:35 the time like we're not even really
1:21:41 working we're in the world of informal
1:21:44 app
1:21:48 development it's I just
1:21:52 I
1:21:54 it's funny like what I had in my head
1:21:56 for app development
1:21:59 was you're going to you're going to
1:22:01 you're going to ask some tool I want an
1:22:05 app that plays this game or does this
1:22:07 thing
1:22:09 right and
1:22:11 then it would give you code and then it
1:22:14 would maybe upload that code to some
1:22:16 sort of thing and it would build you an
1:22:17 app and then you would download your app
1:22:18 and you would play with it that's kind
1:22:20 of what I had in my head I didn't really
1:22:24 put two and two together
1:22:27 that the large language model is is not
1:22:30 only going to write the code but it's
1:22:33 going to be the engine that is the app
1:22:35 as
1:22:37 well so so yeah so these are these
1:22:41 are these are consumer
1:22:44 generated holy
1:22:46 [ __ ] consumer
1:22:49 generated GPT 4.5 level
1:22:56 applications I I I don't even I can't I
1:22:59 don't even like the the the depth of how
1:23:02 profound this is is escaping me right
1:23:06 now because here's the deal Engineers
1:23:10 are going to are going to build apps a
1:23:12 certain way and product managers are
1:23:15 going to build apps a certain
1:23:18 way but Jim Ross who's not an
1:23:22 application developer he's a good
1:23:24 marketer he's going to build an app
1:23:27 about managing storage facilities hang
1:23:30 on dog is Dog Wants back in the dog
1:23:32 can't stay away come on champy come on
1:23:38 buddy he can't stay away you can't stay
1:23:41 away can you oh you miss Daddy all
1:23:47 right so we're going to get apps that
1:23:49 are
1:23:50 like like nothing we've ever seen seen
1:23:53 because here's the important thing it's
1:23:56 funny in in the past couple of nights we
1:23:58 we've had a lot more folks in here and
1:24:00 we've had a lot more trolls we oh thank
1:24:02 you for the night we are the nights of
1:24:05 the round table and good good day to you
1:24:08 sir good
1:24:09 day we are witnessing a Kyle Shannon and
1:24:12 Kevin mallister moment in real time you
1:24:16 are because like the trolls that have
1:24:19 been in here have been like well this
1:24:20 isn't a real Channel he's not really
1:24:22 talking about technology that's exactly
1:24:24 the [ __ ] point no I'm not I'm not
1:24:28 talking about embeddings and waiting and
1:24:30 math and
1:24:31 Engineering I'm talking about how the
1:24:35 rest of the world is going to interact
1:24:37 with these tools and what this Channel's
1:24:39 been to up to this point has been like
1:24:41 okay here's how you think about
1:24:42 prompting and here's how you think about
1:24:44 this this
1:24:51 tool it it
1:24:57 I'm seriously having a Kevin mallister
1:24:59 moment right
1:25:02 here you know I've talked for the past
1:25:05 year that I think we're entering a great
1:25:07 Renaissance and I didn't
1:25:11 quite that was an instinct but I
1:25:13 couldn't see the path for how we're
1:25:15 going to get
1:25:17 there yeah my head is spinning I know me
1:25:21 too where do you find this extension oh
1:25:24 it you you basically just wait for it to
1:25:25 show up in your chat GPT if you if you
1:25:28 have to pay for chat GPT plus any okay
1:25:31 for for the past month I've said I think
1:25:34 it is the best deal in software for you
1:25:36 to pay the 20 bucks for chat GPT plus I
1:25:39 now think anyone that doesn't pay the 20
1:25:42 bucks for chat GPT plus is has got a a
1:25:46 [ __ ] marble loose like seriously
1:25:49 everyone should be playing with this
1:25:50 right now everyone should be building
1:25:51 these things
1:25:53 you should spend the weekend [ __ ]
1:25:55 building these things why do you
1:25:57 remember what happened with the App
1:25:58 Store the the first people that got in
1:26:01 there and built some of the early viral
1:26:03 apps they made a ton of
1:26:05 money Alman you know they're releasing a
1:26:08 store at the end of the month that that
1:26:10 they're going to do rev sharing with
1:26:12 these
1:26:13 things and I assume at some point
1:26:15 they'll make an actual publishing model
1:26:17 where you can publish it and charge for
1:26:19 your Bots charge for your
1:26:21 gpts
1:26:34 Vicky I just published three perfect
1:26:36 yeah [ __ ] publish three [ __ ]
1:26:39 publish 10 and don't just publish [ __ ]
1:26:41 you know like publish like I mean I was
1:26:43 a bartender so I know this world
1:26:47 but this is this
1:26:51 is
1:26:54 like
1:26:55 it it already has a brand voice in it
1:26:58 like the way it talks what it does the
1:27:00 fact that it makes these images of what
1:27:03 the [ __ ] thing should look like I
1:27:05 mean you could put that with the
1:27:07 exception of the fact that his little
1:27:08 legs a little weird here like there's a
1:27:11 there's a little generative AI wonkiness
1:27:14 with the gingerbread man but like that's
1:27:16 a photograph that you could put in a
1:27:19 menu and you of these things
1:27:24 how is this packaged logo UI icon so
1:27:28 right
1:27:29 now it's a little highball drink it's a
1:27:33 it's a it's a an
1:27:36 oldfashioned and so this is what it
1:27:38 looks like these these suggested things
1:27:41 I can
1:27:45 customized Vegas bartender with a Twist
1:27:47 on classics by Kyle Shannon right so so
1:27:51 individual
1:27:54 th this is weird this is getting into
1:28:01 like this is this is crossing the beams
1:28:05 okay here's here's what's [ __ ]
1:28:07 amazing about this this is crossing the
1:28:09 beams it's an old Ghostbusters reference
1:28:12 [ __ ]
1:28:16 um this is somewhere between media and
1:28:21 software because individuals are going
1:28:23 to get really good at writing these
1:28:25 things at creating these things and
1:28:27 you're going to have you're going to
1:28:29 have someone who ends up
1:28:31 being like like the uh you you know like
1:28:35 a famous
1:28:36 YouTuber but of these GPT apps and
1:28:39 they're going to become known you're
1:28:40 going to know if you see an app from
1:28:41 that person they're going to be
1:28:44 good the difference between streaming
1:28:46 live music versus being at a live
1:28:48 concert I don't know what that's in
1:28:50 reference to mods please pin Kyle could
1:28:52 chat GPT wait when will this be up on
1:28:55 the YouTube
1:28:57 channel this video um I'll try to get it
1:29:01 up tomorrow I'm I'm I'm really behind on
1:29:03 my Youtube upload duties so
1:29:09 so uh I've got I think I've got three
1:29:13 salons that haven't been put up there
1:29:15 three or four I'm a [ __ ] loser and
1:29:18 then I I haven't uploaded these lives
1:29:21 for like half a week or something like
1:29:24 that AI is basically the same as when a
1:29:28 sculptor gets a fancy 3D printer the
1:29:31 sculptor can now use the
1:29:34 creativity use his creativity on
1:29:36 steroids yeah Music Maker us exact
1:29:39 that's exactly right like this
1:29:41 is but it's not so so here's here's the
1:29:44 slight difference
1:29:48 is the sculptor can now also become a
1:29:51 musician
1:29:53 and the sculptor can also become a
1:29:55 programmer and the sculptor can also
1:29:56 become a consultant
1:29:59 so historically the sculptor would be
1:30:02 limited to you know if if the sculptor
1:30:04 spent 30 years working on
1:30:06 sculpting and only wanted to do
1:30:08 sculpting then yeah that then what
1:30:10 they'd be interested in is a 3D printer
1:30:12 and 3D modeling software to maybe
1:30:14 augment their that particular flavor of
1:30:17 creativity but if that sculptor is
1:30:19 actually interested in other things but
1:30:21 they're like well I've got 30 years into
1:30:23 sculpting I'm not going to teach myself
1:30:24 music
1:30:25 theory well now they're going to be able
1:30:27 to do music stuff and now they're going
1:30:29 to be able to do application development
1:30:32 and now they're going to be able to
1:30:35 do wow I
1:30:38 I I wonder if you can all right let's go
1:30:42 get Jim's I promis Jim I would create a
1:30:45 competitor to his business I'm going to
1:30:47 take you down Jimbo you're going You're
1:30:49 Going Down
1:30:51 buddy 15 20 years in the storage
1:30:53 business you think you got a lock on
1:30:55 this thing I'm coming for
1:30:57 you Jim Ross Jim
1:31:01 Ross listen it's it's it's not going to
1:31:05 be pretty that's all I got to tell
1:31:07 that's all I got to tell you I've got
1:31:10 like two hours this weekend I can start
1:31:12 a storage business I'm gonna do
1:31:17 [Music]
1:31:18 it oh got do download
1:31:23 all
1:31:24 right okay so we
1:31:28 have three zones of Excellence this is
1:31:31 Jim Ross's book
1:31:33 marketing management money you can make
1:31:37 money with
1:31:39 storage you can make money with starage
1:31:42 accountability and transparency to give
1:31:43 you the results you want and need in a
1:31:45 third party management company three
1:31:47 zones of
1:31:48 Excellence all right so here's the book
1:31:53 in PDF format now again I'm Flying Blind
1:31:56 here I've never done this before so I do
1:31:58 not
1:32:01 know if this will
1:32:03 work but it doesn't really matter
1:32:06 because we're all learning and this is
1:32:08 the AI learning lab I don't know if you
1:32:09 knew that people but you learn in the
1:32:11 learning lab you come in here we have
1:32:14 bring it on all right all right Jim all
1:32:17 right Jim I'm taking you down
1:32:19 buddy hopefully I'm pumping you up
1:32:21 hopefully this turns into some cool ass
1:32:23 thing I will gladly share anything we
1:32:26 create here tonight okay let's see we
1:32:29 are going to go oh yeah create a chat
1:32:31 GPT create a GPT
1:32:34 boom all
1:32:38 [Music]
1:32:40 right oh wait Jim what's the name of
1:32:43 your storage
1:32:49 business where's my little mouse where's
1:32:52 with my mouth open recent three mile
1:32:55 [Music]
1:32:57 management oh three yeah three M oh
1:32:59 three M storage management is that what
1:33:01 it
1:33:02 is Jim Jim Ross Jim Ross Jim Ross hey
1:33:06 Jim Jim Jim Jim Jim Jim Jim Jim
1:33:12 Jim is he always this annoying oh no
1:33:15 he's sometimes much more annoying than
1:33:17 this Three Mile Storage management okay
1:33:21 perfect
1:33:23 I won't call the bot Three Mile Storage
1:33:27 management I'm gonna I'm gon to call it
1:33:29 something different just so that you can
1:33:31 do do do yours okay so I'm going to
1:33:37 go I've got a storage management
1:33:40 business that
1:33:42 helps parties make money
1:33:48 managing third
1:33:50 party store
1:33:52 facilities period I also have a book
1:33:57 that I'd like to upload as part of the
1:34:00 knowledge set for this
1:34:02 GPT can you help me come up with a
1:34:06 concept for the
1:34:07 GPT and a name for it
1:34:12 period I'd like to come up with a clever
1:34:16 name that makes people want to engage
1:34:19 with it and makes it clear that they can
1:34:21 make money
1:34:22 by managing storage
1:34:26 [Music]
1:34:30 facilities all right it's building our
1:34:35 GPT nck Philip pasy Jim Ross I'm really
1:34:38 looking forward to this me too this is
1:34:39 cool the storage strategist that's not
1:34:43 bad GPT how about the name storage
1:34:45 strategist I don't want to take
1:34:46 something too good let's see
1:34:49 uh give me five more names that are a
1:34:51 little more more
1:34:54 creative storage strategist ain't bad
1:34:59 Jim Stax and RX
1:35:02 [Laughter]
1:35:06 advisor let's go with stackson rxs
1:35:08 advisor there's a nice double on Tandra
1:35:11 there and I'm a little
1:35:15 naughty let's go
1:35:18 with
1:35:20 stacks
1:35:23 and rx's
1:35:26 [Music]
1:35:32 advisor generating profile picture so so
1:35:36 like the fact that it's just doing this
1:35:39 is storage Vine oh that's really good I
1:35:43 on China why did I not think of that oh
1:35:46 Jim I on China just gave me the name of
1:35:49 my business that's going to take you
1:35:51 down story Vine are you kidding me and I
1:35:54 use Story vine to make videos
1:35:56 about you're just I do you want to do
1:36:00 you want to retire now do you have
1:36:01 anyone that you could call to sell sell
1:36:03 your business gym because I like as far
1:36:06 as I know it's over storage Vine that's
1:36:09 [ __ ] solid all right great choice
1:36:13 that's sort of okay but it's it's I it's
1:36:16 going to be hard to
1:36:20 see how about more of a storage unit
1:36:24 with a lot of boxes and a giant golden
1:36:26 dollar sign inside
1:36:33 it
1:36:38 sign stack and RX
1:36:44 advisor okay wait so let's go look back
1:36:46 at Jim's book so Jim's book three zones
1:36:48 of
1:36:50 Excellence
1:36:55 nice although that that looks like a
1:36:57 gold vault that doesn't look like a
1:36:59 storage unit
1:37:01 okay that looks like a bank vault more
1:37:03 than a storage unit period can you make
1:37:05 it look more like an authentic storage
1:37:09 unit with old boxes but with a giant
1:37:12 glowing dollar sign
1:37:16 period you don't
1:37:19 need all the money of a bank to make
1:37:21 money in
1:37:23 [Music]
1:37:25 storage again I strongly encourage you
1:37:28 to lecture GPT whenever you can because
1:37:32 because Bing won't let you do it bing
1:37:34 won't let you be a a smarmy [ __ ]
1:37:36 she'll shut you right down that's Sydney
1:37:38 she's very
1:37:40 [Laughter]
1:37:43 sensitive yeah there you go that's good
1:37:45 enough all right
1:37:50 beautiful
1:37:54 yep that works
1:37:56 [Music]
1:38:03 great I'm also going to upload my
1:38:07 book that's on the three zones of
1:38:11 Excellence
1:38:12 [Music]
1:38:16 period marketing management
1:38:20 money
1:38:23 those zones are marketing comma
1:38:26 management comma and money
1:38:30 [Music]
1:38:33 period fantastic I'm glad you like the
1:38:36 picture go ahead and upload the book
1:38:39 once uploaded I can incorporate its
1:38:41 insights into gpt's knowledge base to
1:38:44 provide users with expert advice in
1:38:46 those areas so I'm going to configure
1:38:49 now I'm going to come over here I'm
1:38:50 going to go upload files to the
1:38:52 knowledge
1:38:54 section we're going to go find the three
1:38:57 mile management by the way I don't know
1:38:59 if you knew this but one of the things I
1:39:02 like to do on this channel is just in a
1:39:05 sneaky way get people to give me their
1:39:08 books for free so I did that haha jokes
1:39:12 on you Jim all
1:39:15 right did it upload oh no yeah it
1:39:18 uploaded okay so that's there so I'm
1:39:20 gonna say
1:39:23 Great the book is up there can you take
1:39:25 a look and let me know when you've got
1:39:29 things Incorporated and if there's
1:39:31 anything in the book you think we should
1:39:34 add to the overall description of the
1:39:36 GPT to make it more
1:39:39 [Music]
1:39:41 effective I is is is anyone else's face
1:39:44 like melting off their skull right
1:39:48 now I okay so listen there's there's a
1:39:51 lot of people in here do do me a favor
1:39:53 couple of things while while this is
1:39:55 building this miraculous storage
1:39:57 competitor to my friend Jim he's going
1:40:00 down um please follow this channel I'm
1:40:03 like 200 people away from 30,000 and I
1:40:06 want to hit 30,000 followers before
1:40:08 November 30th which is the um chat GPT
1:40:12 anniversary also share this live because
1:40:14 this is cool like like doing this thing
1:40:17 live like there will never be another
1:40:18 night like tonight on this channel
1:40:20 because I'll have I'll have done this
1:40:23 before but tonight I'm doing this all
1:40:25 for the first time so if you could share
1:40:27 that and then yeah tap the [ __ ] tapy
1:40:30 tap button like like let's get some love
1:40:31 going in here I I this is blowing my
1:40:34 [ __ ] mind thank you very much livar I
1:40:38 holy
1:40:39 crap um if you subscribe to this channel
1:40:43 that helps and it also gives you access
1:40:45 to uh the private Irregulars channel on
1:40:47 the Discord the the AI Salon Discord
1:40:50 okay GPT Builder I've Incorporated the
1:40:53 principles and insights from your book
1:40:54 into gpt's knowledge base the GPT now
1:40:58 named STA and RX
1:41:00 advisor is designed to assist users with
1:41:03 maximizing profitability through
1:41:04 effective third-party storage facility
1:41:06 management those are not my [ __ ]
1:41:09 words it can guide you on marketing
1:41:11 visibility optimizing operations for
1:41:14 management and financial strategies for
1:41:17 maximizing your returns along a three
1:41:19 zones of marketing three of Excellence
1:41:22 marketing management and
1:41:24 money holy crap and Andrea thank
1:41:28 you holy
1:41:32 crap holy crap
1:41:36 um I'm thinking about getting into the
1:41:39 storage business but it's a little
1:41:41 intimidating how do you deal with all
1:41:43 those
1:41:46 [Music]
1:41:48 locks you can see I'm pretty
1:41:50 sophisticated Jim again I'd be nervous
1:41:53 you might want to call up businesso
1:41:55 Brokers I think you can list your
1:41:56 business for sale like on the internet
1:41:58 you because now that I have this
1:42:05 bot all right let's see dealing with
1:42:08 locks is a matter of having good systems
1:42:11 in place oh fine so I can't have ADD you
1:42:14 jerks Master Key System the overlock
1:42:17 system the tenant provides his own lock
1:42:20 okay oh it's still going vendor
1:42:22 relationships good Lord Insurance
1:42:24 liability digital records good God is
1:42:28 this what you have to do to run these
1:42:29 places I thought it was just like you
1:42:33 need like a like like a a lock cutter a
1:42:36 lock cutter in a in a safety deposit box
1:42:39 all right
1:42:41 um I was kind of joking about the locks
1:42:47 can you give me an overview of
1:42:52 how you think about making money in the
1:42:55 storage
1:42:56 business let's let's see I mean you can
1:42:59 tell me Jim if this is in the
1:43:00 neighborhood of your book certainly
1:43:03 making money is basically centered
1:43:05 around balancing three ke key areas
1:43:07 occupancy rates see this doesn't seem
1:43:10 like it's pulling it from your book
1:43:12 pricing strategies and operational
1:43:15 efficiency cost management delinquency
1:43:20 management
1:43:22 [Music]
1:43:32 I mean it's giving me lots of good
1:43:34 answers
1:43:37 here
1:43:40 um what about marketing what can you
1:43:42 tell me about
1:43:43 [Music]
1:43:49 that H searching my knowledge
1:43:54 look at that that's so cool so it's now
1:43:57 searching your book
1:43:59 Jim
1:44:05 damn okay okay so we're gonna we're
1:44:08 going to go back we're going to change
1:44:09 this okay I I get what's going on now no
1:44:11 nope not pulling from the book but great
1:44:14 answers okay yeah now it's pulling from
1:44:16 the book because it says searching my
1:44:18 knowledge now it's going to pull from
1:44:19 the book this is slow but it's still
1:44:23 [ __ ]
1:44:24 remarkable Marketing in the storage
1:44:26 business is a comprehensive
1:44:29 strategy with various aspects maximizing
1:44:32 viability here here's an overview
1:44:34 crafting a narrative search engine
1:44:36 optimization Google my business social
1:44:39 media engagement Community integration
1:44:42 are these
1:44:44 right adaptation and
1:44:50 review
1:44:55 Jim let let me
1:44:58 know are these the marketing things that
1:45:00 it pulled from your
1:45:03 [Music]
1:45:08 book all right we're GNA go back and
1:45:10 we're going to change something let me
1:45:11 see while Jim answers that
1:45:14 um looks great okay awesome
1:45:19 um
1:45:24 in addition
1:45:27 to giving General storage advice I
1:45:31 really want this GPT to focus
1:45:34 [Music]
1:45:37 on the book and the ideas within it so
1:45:42 no matter what anyone asks can you
1:45:44 identify something within the knowledge
1:45:47 base that contains the book and can
1:45:51 answer from that
1:45:55 [Music]
1:45:57 perspective yes from the book holy [ __ ]
1:45:59 this is so amazing this is I just okay
1:46:04 so for a year I've been telling people
1:46:06 if they're like but I want to train
1:46:08 something on my own data I'd be like
1:46:10 well you got to be a geek and you got to
1:46:11 go learn Lang chain and you got to go
1:46:13 Learn Python and you got to go learn g a
1:46:17 Google collab and you got to get [ __ ]
1:46:18 running you got to learn what a notebook
1:46:20 is and you got and I it's just [ __ ]
1:46:22 exhausting and now that's all
1:46:29 over this is this is a this is an
1:46:33 entirely brand new paradigm
1:46:38 for I I
1:46:43 can't what we're doing right now is
1:46:46 almost like a combination of an
1:46:49 entertainment Channel and app
1:46:53 development this is like call-in radio
1:46:55 except what comes out the other side is
1:46:57 a
1:46:59 sophisticated um large language model
1:47:01 application that can completely
1:47:03 transform your business and and and you
1:47:07 can make
1:47:10 money okay shall we see how it interacts
1:47:12 now let me see what it said here um
1:47:14 while I was rambling what did it answer
1:47:16 I've updated gpt's Behavior to focus on
1:47:18 the book and its ideas no matter what
1:47:20 you ask users the stack and racks
1:47:22 advisor will reference the knowledge
1:47:24 within the book to provide answer
1:47:26 answers okay that's great
1:47:29 um that's perfect oops error saving
1:47:32 draft all right oh hang on hang stop
1:47:35 listening to
1:47:37 me okay that's perfect period the final
1:47:40 Nuance I'd like to add to this GPT is
1:47:43 that at the end of every
1:47:48 major topic
1:47:57 hang on Three Mile Storage
1:48:06 management please remind them to go
1:48:09 to 3M storage.com
1:48:15 to sign up to
1:48:19 be part of the
1:48:23 [Music]
1:48:27 program and I don't obviously you'd put
1:48:29 in your real your real uh thing
1:48:37 here
1:48:42 okay we just uploaded a [ __ ]
1:48:46 PDF and told
1:48:49 it
1:48:51 use that in your
1:48:53 [Music]
1:48:58 answers yes I'd like to try it out
1:49:02 okay
1:49:04 um I'm new to the storage
1:49:07 game but I've heard you can make more
1:49:10 money in storage than you can even with
1:49:13 something like Chachi
1:49:19 P stacks advisor how can I help
1:49:39 you did it go look at the
1:49:43 book in this sector there's consistent
1:49:46 particularly do here's
1:49:49 how
1:49:56 there's three mile
1:49:57 storage so it's doing that I don't I
1:50:00 don't know if this is pulling from the
1:50:01 book to
1:50:03 maximize marketing excellent management
1:50:05 Excellence money Excellence yeah these
1:50:06 are from the
1:50:09 book
1:50:11 Jim dude oh I'm sorry small business
1:50:16 administration just called they they
1:50:18 just you're you're out of business sorry
1:50:22 dude sorry man it's rough it's rough
1:50:27 it's
1:50:28 rough wow holy [ __ ] holy
1:50:35 [ __ ] I don't know is anyone paying
1:50:37 attention
1:50:40 here holy STA and racks advisor how can
1:50:44 I help you oh you know what we need to
1:50:45 do no Kyle tell us it's your
1:50:49 Channel
1:50:53 stack and Rax advisor how can I help you
1:50:59 edit I had an idea
1:51:03 period my name's Jim and one of the
1:51:06 things
1:51:08 that I want this GPT to feel like is
1:51:11 that someone's actually talking to me so
1:51:15 when I start the
1:51:17 conversation I'll introduce myself as
1:51:19 Jim and then I want to ask the person
1:51:21 their name and keep referring to them
1:51:23 throughout the
1:51:26 conversation period I'll also
1:51:28 occasionally refer to myself in the
1:51:30 third
1:51:32 person
1:51:34 like sometimes I think to myself Jim
1:51:37 what are you
1:51:40 [Laughter]
1:51:46 thinking you people don't understand how
1:51:49 fun this is doing this Channel Jim what
1:51:52 are you thinking all right so let's have
1:51:54 it write some crazy ass [ __ ] in the back
1:51:57 end that we'll never see but it's going
1:51:58 to just start acting like this I I
1:52:02 just this is so
1:52:10 smart this
1:52:17 is Kevin mallister moment I'm like one
1:52:21 after another after another here I'd
1:52:24 like to create a GPT that hooks up to
1:52:26 public flight tracking data and ask it
1:52:29 where a
1:52:30 flight is I think that's relatively
1:52:33 trivial at this point go get your API
1:52:35 data for the for the flight tracking
1:52:37 thing and pop it in there I'll do next
1:52:41 before before next time I I'll dick
1:52:42 around with apis and just make sure that
1:52:44 I know how to do it so I'm not just
1:52:46 wasting everyone's time in here but
1:52:47 we'll go do some API We'll add some
1:52:49 actions the fact that you can you okay
1:52:52 you can customize it with your own
1:52:54 knowledge it can draw or make images it
1:52:58 can do code interpreter we haven't even
1:53:00 explored that
1:53:03 yet and and it can do actions this is
1:53:06 all within a consumer bot
1:53:09 maker this is
1:53:12 sophisticated like application
1:53:14 development sophisticated application
1:53:17 development in the hands of mere mortals
1:53:20 Jim Jim Ross I get it now it's it's
1:53:23 [ __ ] staggering isn't it let's okay
1:53:25 let's go let's go update the gimm bot
1:53:29 and let's go play with it and see if it
1:53:31 if it asks us our
1:53:34 name Oh Sherry D API search engine okay
1:53:37 apil list. fun okay
1:53:40 cool the level of this changes
1:53:43 everything that I'm feeling right now is
1:53:45 just over the
1:53:49 top
1:53:52 I'm thinking of getting into the storage
1:53:54 business can you give me a leg
1:53:57 [Music]
1:54:08 [Music]
1:54:10 up here's a guy a structured guide based
1:54:13 on the three zones of Excellence to give
1:54:15 you a leg up Zone one marketing make
1:54:17 First Impressions reviews and SEO local
1:54:19 engag
1:54:24 to implement these zones educate
1:54:26 yourself do market analysis customer
1:54:29 experience technology use financial
1:54:32 planning remember Self Storage IND
1:54:35 industry relies heavily on location so
1:54:37 ensure you have a good understanding of
1:54:38 the local market and real estate
1:54:40 Dynamics it's also Capital intensive
1:54:42 yeah you got to buy all the [ __ ]
1:54:44 locks it's the only thing I know about
1:54:46 storage
1:54:47 business boxes I suppose
1:54:50 starting a self storage business is not
1:54:52 just about offering space and belong to
1:54:54 store belongings well that's what I
1:54:55 thought it was this is annoying now I'm
1:54:57 not going to compete with you now
1:54:58 because I'm annoyed at this business it
1:55:00 seems like
1:55:03 work all right all right holy
1:55:07 [ __ ] well let's update that we'll we'll
1:55:09 save that I now have I now have my first
1:55:12 two body Bots or no I don't
1:55:18 confirm View the GPT boom we're live
1:55:23 people STA and Rax advisor how can I
1:55:25 help you name's
1:55:27 Jim
1:55:29 wow now wipe
1:55:41 [Music]
1:55:46 out good Lord
1:55:49 people
1:55:58 wow wow all right I'm making a bot that
1:56:02 will send an electrical pulse to my body
1:56:05 if I start sleeping no time I
1:56:11 I I mean we just made in an hour
1:56:14 whatever it's been jimos thank you so
1:56:15 much Kyle you'll always remember your
1:56:17 first night making a GPT was for storage
1:56:20 you're [ __ ] right I will
1:56:22 too because I mean seriously that's
1:56:25 where we all
1:56:27 learned so if you haven't heard the term
1:56:30 rag retrieval augmented
1:56:33 generation that's what the Geeks want
1:56:35 you to call that thing but no no for us
1:56:37 it's just upload your book
1:56:39 here upload your pamphlet here upload
1:56:43 whatever here like what I don't know is
1:56:46 like I don't know what the limits of
1:56:47 those upload files are will you be
1:56:49 posting this to your YouTube I will
1:56:52 absolutely I got to figure out a way to
1:56:54 highlight certain of the YouTube things
1:56:57 so I need I need a producer at some
1:57:00 point because the there's a lot of
1:57:03 really I don't know if it's interesting
1:57:04 content but there's a lot of valuable
1:57:06 content being generated that's that's
1:57:08 getting kind of
1:57:09 buried
1:57:12 um
1:57:15 wow I've never seen you so enthusiastic
1:57:19 well this is you know it's it's moments
1:57:21 like this so so this
1:57:24 is this is a nearly identical feeling
1:57:28 that I'm having right now that I had two
1:57:32 weeks after I after cat GPT launched and
1:57:36 I was sitting on the couch with my wife
1:57:38 she's watching TV and I asked chat chpt
1:57:41 to write a Python program and it does
1:57:44 and then I realized I don't know how to
1:57:46 run a Python program and I said oh how
1:57:47 do you write run a Python program and
1:57:49 like 90 minutes later I'd written a
1:57:51 fully functional python application from
1:57:54 nothing I've never written a line of
1:57:55 python in my
1:57:57 life and I had this fully functional
1:57:59 python application that was making API
1:58:02 calls to open
1:58:06 Ai and and this is this is like that
1:58:17 except I I just I can't get my head
1:58:20 around it that everyday
1:58:23 people that are like a little bit
1:58:26 curious
1:58:28 about
1:58:30 anything are going to be able to come in
1:58:32 here and create an
1:58:35 incredibly sophisticated
1:58:40 application a a a customized chat
1:58:46 GPT quick take Jake you might be able to
1:58:48 help out awesome let me know DM me happy
1:58:50 to
1:58:56 chat do you think you could upload an
1:58:58 existing app and ask it to make it
1:59:04 better
1:59:05 well
1:59:10 uh assuming it's not
1:59:14 compiled because I know one of the one
1:59:17 of the one of the apps um from
1:59:21 GPT from chat
1:59:25 GPT
1:59:37 is I thought they had a an application
1:59:41 thing I thought they had a programmer
1:59:43 maybe maybe I was thinking of the tech
1:59:44 support
1:59:46 advisor but yeah we you could you could
1:59:49 absolutely abolutely
1:59:51 make you could make one of these Bots
1:59:53 that specializes so so think about this
1:59:57 you
1:59:58 could I I just it's it's like I'm all
2:00:00 over the
2:00:02 place you could take the latest
2:00:05 documentation
2:00:07 from a very specific programming
2:00:10 language or or like an old obsolete
2:00:12 programming
2:00:13 language and you could up upload that as
2:00:16 the knowledge set and then you could
2:00:18 create a code
2:00:20 a coding support analyst bot where yeah
2:00:24 people can upload their code and it will
2:00:28 analyze it comment it document it fix it
2:00:33 all using the latest documentation all
2:00:35 you do is the bot Creator is keep
2:00:37 uploading the latest version and in fact
2:00:40 if you're doing an API call if if you're
2:00:43 doing an action you could basically go
2:00:45 out and say you know dynamically go out
2:00:48 and get the the latest
2:00:51 information how does one demonstrate
2:00:53 that they made it will there be
2:00:55 authorship well yeah so when I go to Sin
2:00:57 City sipper or stacks and racks it says
2:01:00 by Kyle Shannon that's what I was saying
2:01:03 where th this whatever the [ __ ] this is
2:01:07 lives somewhere in between media like
2:01:11 like media entertainment and application
2:01:14 development because the fact that this
2:01:17 is adding to my brand right whatever
2:01:20 that means like your personal brand but
2:01:22 but there are going to be people that
2:01:24 get known for for doing
2:01:31 these and then they're going to have a
2:01:33 GPT store which is going to be like the
2:01:36 App Store and and I I think
2:01:42 that I think that people that figure out
2:01:44 how to rise above the noise so here's
2:01:47 the thing because it's so simple to make
2:01:49 these there's going to be an infinite
2:01:51 number of every variation of
2:01:53 these but then someone like Jim Ross who
2:01:56 really knows self storage and knows he's
2:01:59 been doing it for long enough and he's
2:02:01 he's just Savvy enough about marketing
2:02:03 and [ __ ] like that he's going to do a
2:02:06 version of what I did at a whole
2:02:08 different level so what you're going to
2:02:10 have is you're going to have have sort
2:02:12 of just I like the the uh just the
2:02:16 Staggering amount of applications that
2:02:18 are going to be built like this it's
2:02:20 it's just going to be
2:02:22 mind-numbing and then the ones that make
2:02:24 it to the store right the ones that get
2:02:26 accepted into the store there's there's
2:02:27 going to be one level of filtering there
2:02:29 and then there's just usage which ones
2:02:31 get used are the ones that are just
2:02:33 better or someone came up with a really
2:02:35 good
2:02:39 concept use the name but your content
2:02:42 configuration is yours oh others can use
2:02:45 the
2:02:46 name oh that's interesting I just ask
2:02:49 chat GPT this others can use the name
2:02:52 but the content configuration is yours
2:02:54 interesting and then you can monetize it
2:02:56 so ryer or die so so yeah what what
2:02:59 Altman said it doesn't sound like
2:03:01 they've got it fully baked yet what he
2:03:04 said is when they put the store out
2:03:06 there he said the most popular gpts are
2:03:09 going to enter into a revenue
2:03:12 sharing
2:03:14 um uh agreement so you'll probably have
2:03:17 to be in the top 100,000 G P PTS or
2:03:20 something like that like you know if
2:03:21 you're in the top 100,000 you go into
2:03:23 rev share and then it's based on your
2:03:25 activity for your Bot or something like
2:03:27 that I would imagine in the future
2:03:31 you'll also be able to sell your Bots
2:03:34 right so for 10 bucks a month you can
2:03:37 use my bot now your bot's going to have
2:03:39 to have some
2:03:42 really interest and capabilities to it
2:03:46 so you're going to have to get clever
2:03:47 with that or you're going to have have
2:03:49 to have your own proprietary data this
2:03:51 idea of your personal data whatever like
2:03:54 the the book that Jim wrote that's the
2:03:57 book he wrote It's called that he builds
2:03:59 that into a bot his bot will only ever
2:04:02 use that book so if someone wants his
2:04:06 capability he may give that away as a
2:04:08 marketing lead but over time he might
2:04:10 say hey that's valuable enough I'm going
2:04:11 to charge you know five bucks a month to
2:04:13 have access to that but bot that someone
2:04:16 can use all the time as a
2:04:18 resource amazing someone somewhere will
2:04:20 luck into a bot that will make them a
2:04:22 millionaire I think fubsy I think many
2:04:25 people are going to stumble into making
2:04:27 Bots that are going to make them
2:04:28 millionaires I this is this is what
2:04:32 happened with the App Store and and this
2:04:35 is like that except the challenge with
2:04:38 the App Store is you actually had to be
2:04:40 a developer so you had to have a
2:04:42 developer you had to have a ux person
2:04:45 you had to have a product person you had
2:04:47 to have you know now there are talented
2:04:50 people that can do all of that and
2:04:52 they're just good and they got their
2:04:53 [ __ ] together or they worked at a big
2:04:56 game company and they spun off and they
2:04:57 said oh I can make a trivial little game
2:04:59 here and they made Angry Birds and the
2:05:02 rest is history they made a [ __ ]
2:05:09 fortune if if you wanna if you want to
2:05:11 sneak peek into the kind of ecosystem
2:05:15 this is going to be go to po.com
2:05:17 and and click on the um the explore
2:05:23 button right so you have all these
2:05:25 different categories official new advice
2:05:28 so like here's an
2:05:29 advice
2:05:32 section here's a tarot card reader a
2:05:34 romance bot a life coach bot subscribed
2:05:37 right so oh I think I subscribed to that
2:05:40 one
2:05:42 um Mrs therapist entrepreneur bot the
2:05:46 motivator right so you got all these
2:05:48 Bots right so there's going to be
2:05:49 thousands and thousands and thousands of
2:05:50 them that's just in the advice column
2:05:53 here's
2:05:55 music GPT Tunes music gen generates
2:05:59 prompts for music gen audio crafter
2:06:01 right so there's just going to be
2:06:02 infinite numbers of these and then some
2:06:04 of them are going to rise to the top
2:06:06 like here's a cooking section so Emerald
2:06:09 legosi will be able to put his cookbooks
2:06:13 into one of these Bots and make the
2:06:14 emerald legasi bot that you can go into
2:06:17 this thing and then
2:06:19 holy [ __ ] okay wait
2:06:23 wait
2:06:27 wait [ __ ] Christ this is
2:06:33 amazing okay I'm in chat GPT I'm in
2:06:36 stacks and rxs
2:06:43 advisor I'm thinking of getting into the
2:06:46 storage business what's the best way to
2:06:48 get started
2:07:01 sorry I'm having issues right now please
2:07:04 try again
2:07:06 later hey I'm trying to get into the
2:07:08 storage business how do I get
2:07:16 started sorry I'm having issues right
2:07:18 now
2:07:21 that's
2:07:24 annoying but you get the point so every
2:07:27 one of these Bots could also be a
2:07:29 conversational
2:07:31 bot
2:07:35 so so imagine someone starts working
2:07:38 with
2:07:42 Jim and
2:07:46 they and he charges five bucks of a
2:07:49 month or 10 bucks a month for access to
2:07:50 this to this bot thing they could have
2:07:53 in conversation mode they're walking
2:07:55 around their storage
2:07:57 facility and they're like hey I got to
2:07:59 really up my marketing game and they're
2:08:02 like hey Jim how do I up my marketing
2:08:05 game and the thing goes and pulls from
2:08:07 his book and like as they're walking
2:08:08 around the storage facility it's giving
2:08:11 them an
2:08:13 education they're changing the voice see
2:08:16 if it works oh interesting oh
2:08:20 yeah hang
2:08:27 on
2:08:30 voice hey there I've got a really great
2:08:32 hi there I hello these are the same hey
2:08:35 it's great to meet you hey hello I'm hey
2:08:38 I'm ready to hit the ground running hey
2:08:40 it's hey hey there hi there I just want
2:08:43 to share how thrilled I am to work with
2:08:45 you that sounds kind of like
2:08:47 Jim close as we're going to get
2:08:55 I'm thinking of getting into storage can
2:08:57 you
2:09:04 help sorry I'm having issues right now
2:09:07 yeah it's try again later they're
2:09:09 they're they're throttling there's
2:09:11 probably certain things that haven't
2:09:13 been updated yet okay um but yeah holy
2:09:17 [ __ ] uh question am I Limited to the
2:09:19 material I can include I don't think so
2:09:21 I
2:09:24 assume this is just [ __ ]
2:09:38 wild upload files I don't think so
2:09:41 because they're
2:09:43 they're they're
2:09:46 maintaining they're maintaining threads
2:09:49 of these conversations they're
2:09:50 maintaining GPT says it can't interact
2:09:52 with software
2:09:55 applications no that's not true if GPT
2:09:58 might not be able to steo
2:10:01 but and
2:10:03 that's
2:10:04 API open you know import the open
2:10:08 AI open AI
2:10:14 [Music]
2:10:16 schema so so you go
2:10:21 get it's
2:10:24 amazing so
2:10:28 basically couldn't find it all right
2:10:30 whatever can't whatever
2:10:32 whatever so the name the root URL of the
2:10:35 API the description of the API add the
2:10:39 action and so like here's
2:10:42 the the
2:10:45 path and here's the parameters right
2:10:48 right so your location your string right
2:10:52 so this is all [ __ ] that you'll get
2:10:56 from whatever API you're pulling in I'll
2:10:58 learn how to do that I just I don't want
2:11:00 to like fumble through that right now
2:11:01 because that would be
2:11:04 painful wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow
2:11:07 wow wow wow do copyright laws apply to
2:11:10 gpts I don't [ __ ] it is so far above
2:11:13 my pay grade the the copyright the whole
2:11:17 copyright
2:11:20 situation right now is an absolute
2:11:22 [ __ ] [ __ ] show I like go talk to your
2:11:25 lawyer but I would just start building
2:11:27 don't [ __ ] worry about copyright
2:11:29 right now because it is such a gray area
2:11:32 it's so all over the place it's it's
2:11:34 it's people are going to be battling in
2:11:37 court for the next 20 years the only
2:11:39 people making true money you can make
2:11:43 money guaranteed for the next 20 years
2:11:46 are the intellectual property lawyers
2:11:48 who are going to s so Sue from both
2:11:50 directions and it's going to take it's
2:11:52 going to take decades to work that [ __ ]
2:11:55 out so I unless you're in a you know
2:11:59 copyright heavy business I wouldn't
2:12:01 worry too [ __ ] much about it just
2:12:03 build build build build build build and
2:12:05 publish build and publish build and
2:12:08 publish because well how do I protect it
2:12:11 I don't know like do all the stuff you
2:12:13 need to do talk to your lawyer do all
2:12:14 the stuff you need to do with trademarks
2:12:16 and you know all that sort of stuff but
2:12:20 do not worry
2:12:22 about s wait Sam Altman said they just
2:12:27 launched this thing hang on what did
2:12:28 they what's it
2:12:32 called
2:12:36 um open AI copyright protection
2:12:43 announcement copyright Shield so they
2:12:46 announced this thing called copyright
2:12:47 Shield Monday that they'll cover your
2:12:50 legal costs if someone comes after you
2:12:52 for for copyright cuz you're using chat
2:12:54 GPT and it's been trained on something
2:12:58 then now in the case of this CA so so
2:13:01 what could be interesting is if I take a
2:13:03 copywritten book like if I take Jim's
2:13:05 book let's say let's say Jim charges 300
2:13:08 bucks for that book in a course and you
2:13:10 can only get that book if you take his
2:13:13 course and I take that book and I make a
2:13:16 a bot that uses that specific specific
2:13:18 copywritten work then I think you're
2:13:20 probably in trouble right then right so
2:13:23 so I think don't be a [ __ ] idiot but
2:13:27 but on the other end like don't think
2:13:29 that you can't go make something because
2:13:32 someone might sue
2:13:33 you you know just because it's built on
2:13:36 top of chat
2:13:37 GPT if you do something stupid and
2:13:39 egregious and like blatantly violate
2:13:42 copyright stuff then you're on your own
2:13:45 but what this is talking about is uh
2:13:48 it's business toer owners from the legal
2:13:50 complexities of copyright infringement
2:13:52 the commitment named copyright Shield is
2:13:55 intended exclusively for GPT Enterprise
2:13:57 so you got to be spending a lot of money
2:13:59 with them
2:14:02 um but but you
2:14:04 know they're putting their money where
2:14:07 their mouth like they understand that
2:14:08 this is an issue for companies and big
2:14:10 companies aren't going to use them if
2:14:12 they don't have some sort of reassurance
2:14:14 like
2:14:14 this open AI wouldn't do this if they
2:14:18 didn't feel they could defend it right
2:14:20 they're going to they're going to defend
2:14:21 this strongly th this shit's not going
2:14:23 away Common Sense on that yeah
2:14:25 exactly talking about is making a bot to
2:14:29 interact with my book that stops someone
2:14:32 oh oh what about it stops someone from
2:14:36 making a bot from my book I don't think
2:14:39 there's anything right now they're going
2:14:40 to have to deal with that now that I
2:14:41 think about
2:14:47 it
2:14:49 Sarah Silverman will sue you exactly
2:14:52 great answer basically better to beg
2:14:54 forgiveness than worry about permission
2:14:56 that's
2:14:57 it if you can translate that if I can
2:15:00 translate what I didn't see the
2:15:01 beginning of that joker oh wait talking
2:15:04 about oh uh yeah yeah yeah right right
2:15:08 now I think anyone could upload anything
2:15:10 and make a bot for it at this
2:15:14 point boy this is going to be a this is
2:15:18 going to be a [ __ ] hornets nest isn't
2:15:22 it cuz at some point they're probably
2:15:25 going to have to put in some sort of
2:15:28 thing that says do you have do you have
2:15:33 permission to use whatever you're
2:15:35 uploading here as the knowledge base if
2:15:38 if you're monetizing it if you're not
2:15:40 monetizing it I wonder if it falls under
2:15:42 fair use I don't [ __ ] know this is
2:15:44 the thing it's like I just feel like go
2:15:46 build I think I think the general rule
2:15:49 of in life like just to the extent that
2:15:52 you can don't be a douche don't be a
2:15:54 douche right don't blatantly steal other
2:15:57 people's intellectual property and as
2:15:59 long as you're kind of in that
2:16:00 neighborhood I think you should be fine
2:16:03 people that blatantly steal people's
2:16:05 intellectual property which I think is
2:16:06 going to start happening more and more
2:16:08 and more because it's going to get
2:16:09 easier and easier and easier but
2:16:12 then who who's going to have the money
2:16:14 to sue all the people like like I think
2:16:16 about this in the music business
2:16:19 like it's going to be trivial it's going
2:16:21 to be as triv trivial as what we just
2:16:24 did building Jim's bot and the cocktail
2:16:26 bot it's going to be as trivial for a
2:16:29 fan to make a Taylor Swift song that's
2:16:33 an original song that they created that
2:16:35 sounds like Taylor Swift and they're
2:16:38 going to publish that out in the world
2:16:40 and at some point one of those fan
2:16:42 generated
2:16:44 songs is going to turn into a
2:16:47 hit and and then what
2:16:49 happens does Taylor Swift sue the fan
2:16:53 cuz that's a PR [ __ ] nightmare cuz
2:16:56 the fan probably made it out of love cuz
2:16:58 that whole she's got she's got an army
2:17:00 of love right now right she is on on you
2:17:04 know sort of a credibility high right
2:17:07 now she's she's just an absolute machine
2:17:10 she's
2:17:10 amazing but then what what does she do
2:17:13 in that case when a fan generates a song
2:17:16 that makes a lot of money does she cut a
2:17:17 deal with them does she do what Grimes
2:17:19 did and say hey synthesize my voice all
2:17:22 you want make all the songs you want if
2:17:24 they make any money let's split it 50/50
2:17:26 that's what Grimes
2:17:28 said so you're going to have some
2:17:30 artists that fight tooth and nail for
2:17:33 every copyright infringement you're
2:17:35 going to have other artists like Grimes
2:17:37 that are like [ __ ] it go
2:17:39 play and then what's that spectrum look
2:17:41 like there there's whole businesses to
2:17:43 be built in in the in between those two
2:17:46 poles and and that's going to be like
2:17:48 that for every [ __ ] business software
2:17:51 business game business music
2:17:54 business 3D modeling business all of
2:18:01 it this is absolutely a glimpse into the
2:18:04 future this
2:18:11 tool because right
2:18:14 now look at the um
2:18:20 so if we go to the configure
2:18:22 tab all this stuff is really easy you
2:18:25 just upload files it doesn't call it
2:18:27 retrieval it doesn't call it retrieval
2:18:30 augmented generation it's just like
2:18:32 upload files that are your
2:18:34 knowledge and then you just kind of turn
2:18:36 on these things this actions
2:18:38 thing this is a little complicated still
2:18:41 so at some point open AI will turn this
2:18:45 into a store as well so this will be the
2:18:47 API store so you'll say oh okay I want
2:18:50 to make an app now and I want to connect
2:18:52 Google Maps to Wikipedia to this thing
2:18:56 to that thing to that thing and I want
2:18:57 all those things as components in my
2:19:01 application and you'll just pick from a
2:19:03 list and then it they'll make that easy
2:19:05 too what are these additional
2:19:08 settings use conversation data in your
2:19:12 GPT to improve our models okay so you
2:19:14 can turn that on and
2:19:15 off so basically they're saying can can
2:19:18 we use your GPT to train our models
2:19:20 which is smart they're defaulting that
2:19:22 to on Taylor Swift won't care but her
2:19:25 label will well she just bought back all
2:19:27 of her music does isn't she the label
2:19:29 now like she just re she didn't buy back
2:19:32 her music [ __ ] that no she did what I'm
2:19:34 going to do to
2:19:35 Jim she said oh okay music industry you
2:19:38 want to be a bunch of [ __ ] [ __ ]
2:19:40 how about this how about I go re-record
2:19:43 every one of my albums and tell my fans
2:19:45 to go buy my [ __ ] and not your [ __ ] and
2:19:47 they
2:19:49 did so so I think Taylor's in a in a
2:19:52 good spot um hello Silver Fox just
2:19:55 trying to find out if there's an easy
2:19:57 way to get voice recordings for data
2:20:01 set oh I don't know AI
2:20:06 Bob
2:20:09 um I don't know what you mean voice
2:20:11 recordings for a data set do you mean to
2:20:14 train to train like a voice synthesis
2:20:16 model
2:20:18 what's your what's your use
2:20:21 case I I mean I would imagine there's
2:20:23 all sorts of data sets for everything I
2:20:26 mean a large one is
2:20:28 YouTube like there's a big data set full
2:20:31 of
2:20:35 voices blogs
2:20:38 podcasts you mean if there's one that's
2:20:40 free I don't
2:20:42 know could even sell a bot along with a
2:20:45 type of book for an additional fee
2:20:47 absolutely rocker well and that's like
2:20:49 like again you know not to pick on jym
2:20:52 all night but I just I it just feels
2:20:54 like such a a clear valuable thing where
2:21:00 he can he can use his book as he's
2:21:01 currently using it but but yeah he could
2:21:04 build a companion piece that say hey
2:21:06 I'll give you the book for free but if
2:21:08 you want something that'll give you all
2:21:10 of this knowledge in an interactive way
2:21:12 you can use for the next year that'll
2:21:14 cost you you know 150 bucks or whatever
2:21:17 it is I'd like to take the recordings
2:21:19 that I currently have and translate
2:21:21 those
2:21:22 High somethings AI
2:21:26 Bob labels are making new contracts so
2:21:29 future artists cannot re-record their
2:21:30 music yeah I'm sure they are yeah I'm
2:21:33 sure the labels right now are [ __ ]
2:21:34 pissed at Taylor
2:21:37 Swift
2:21:39 but [ __ ] them you're going to be an
2:21:43 [Laughter]
2:21:46 [ __ ]
2:21:49 yeah yeah they're going to have to
2:21:50 change all those contracts I suppose
2:21:53 amazing you can't copyright something
2:21:55 that's not created by a human but
2:21:57 photography can be copyright well that's
2:21:59 the thing Christopher Ramsey like yeah
2:22:01 the whole copyright law right now is a
2:22:02 [ __ ] joke so it's just like just just
2:22:05 wait it'll get there how do you access
2:22:08 them uh I don't that I don't know I can
2:22:10 give
2:22:12 you I can copy and paste this URL oh you
2:22:16 know what I'll do I'll put this in the
2:22:18 showand tell channel in
2:22:27 Discord um
2:22:30 gpts have been
2:22:33 made exclamation
2:22:36 point there's
2:22:38 one oh look oh look what it does they're
2:22:41 so smart it automatically pulls up STA
2:22:44 and racks advisor it automatically pulls
2:22:47 up the IC icon and then I'm going to go
2:22:49 over here to my old Sin City sipper I'm
2:22:52 going to copy the URL there and go over
2:22:54 here and go bang so if you're on the
2:22:57 Discord go to the showand tell Channel
2:22:59 and you can go play with those
2:23:01 Bots um if you're not on the Discord if
2:23:05 you're like what's the Discord Kyle hey
2:23:07 Kyle ky ky ky ky ky ky ky yes what's the
2:23:13 Discord discord's a thing like slack how
2:23:15 do I get to it Kyle Kyle hey Kyle Kyle
2:23:17 cow cow cow cow c cow cow someone's got
2:23:21 to go to bed Don Smith you got to go to
2:23:25 bed I'm on I'm speaking on a CEO panel
2:23:28 tomorrow at like 9:00 am I'm still
2:23:30 [ __ ] rock I can't I'm not gonna be
2:23:32 able to sleep what are you doing Don
2:23:33 dead H Jesus
2:23:38 amateur she's probably on the East Coast
2:23:40 or in Europe or something she probably
2:23:42 totally totally [ __ ] up her sleep
2:23:44 schedule please please go to bed
2:23:48 oh man I appreciate appreciate you all
2:23:51 hanging out if you if you are interested
2:23:53 in joining the Discord yes they have
2:23:55 that was
2:23:59 awesome oh is this so quick take Jake
2:24:02 did you make the code companion Code
2:24:04 Compliance and safety guide for all
2:24:05 Industries awesome oh this is so cool
2:24:08 holy crap people
2:24:11 um if you want to join the AI
2:24:15 Salon go to the Sal
2:24:18 . and there's there's three documents
2:24:21 here that are important the first one is
2:24:24 the first link tells you about the salon
2:24:27 and our values please look at the values
2:24:29 if you don't resonate with them that's
2:24:31 cool but don't join like we want people
2:24:33 that are curious and adventurous and
2:24:36 inclusive and empathetic like we want
2:24:39 this is about people not about [ __ ]
2:24:42 technology the technology is just a tool
2:24:44 this is this is not about worshiping
2:24:46 technology this is is about us
2:24:48 supporting one another so if you're down
2:24:50 with that cool the there's a second link
2:24:54 in there about donating um to the salon
2:24:56 which if you want to feel free to we
2:24:59 just need to cover our costs we're
2:25:00 switching over to a a community platform
2:25:02 that costs money so we're just trying to
2:25:03 raise money for that the the third link
2:25:06 is to our meetups so we meet every other
2:25:10 Tuesday um in person here in Denver and
2:25:13 then out uh remotely everywhere else and
2:25:16 then there's the fourth link is a link
2:25:18 to the Discord so go join the Discord
2:25:22 and then in the showand tell
2:25:24 Channel you can see the Bots I just put
2:25:27 up there as well as quick take Jake's
2:25:29 code companion and um the other thing if
2:25:33 you're a subscriber to this channel if
2:25:34 you subscribe to the lives um you get
2:25:37 access to the Irregulars channel so if
2:25:39 if you plan on coming back here a lot
2:25:41 which I would encourage you to
2:25:42 thankfully school is closed tomorrow I
2:25:44 know holy [ __ ] this is I'm going to go
2:25:46 to this speaking gig and I think I'm
2:25:48 going to come back and start playing I
2:25:50 although oh so for those of you hang on
2:25:53 let me let me Flip Flip some things
2:25:57 here man this was a hedgehog kind of
2:25:59 night holy
2:26:01 crap um for those of you that that hang
2:26:04 out here a lot I've I've talked a couple
2:26:06 of times I have a big Pharma client
2:26:07 that's been threatening to pay us to
2:26:11 build an AI thing for them we got a
2:26:13 verbal today on that project so so
2:26:18 that's exciting so I get to build a
2:26:20 proof of concept of something for this
2:26:22 Pharma company that ties in with my
2:26:24 story vind stuff and uh if that goes
2:26:28 well then there's a much bigger project
2:26:30 behind it so I'm pretty excited about
2:26:34 [Music]
2:26:36 that with all the books from various
2:26:39 authors and books I paid for uh I don't
2:26:41 know that I don't knew I don't knew I
2:26:44 don't knew I don't knew about what you
2:26:46 took about do know about it don't know
2:26:51 has Kyle lost his mind
2:26:54 [Music]
2:27:01 yes all right we going to do anything
2:27:04 else
2:27:05 tonight do we need to be subscribed to
2:27:08 buy or use gpts not to use them to buy
2:27:14 them no gpts are going to be free just
2:27:17 like the Poots are free gpts are going
2:27:19 to be
2:27:21 free
2:27:27 um oh you know what what would be
2:27:35 cool anyone who's in the salon that's in
2:27:37 the Discord we could build a zappier or
2:27:42 bot how are we going to do this because
2:27:45 we're moving to Mighty networks it might
2:27:46 not make
2:27:48 sense I was just thinking it would be
2:27:50 cool it would be cool to create a
2:27:52 library of of gpts built by Salon
2:27:57 members and AI learning lab
2:28:00 members there's a way you could
2:28:02 automatically pull that out of Discord
2:28:04 and publish
2:28:07 it but we're moving to Mighty Network so
2:28:09 maybe there's a way we do it with Mighty
2:28:10 networks as well CU I bet they've got an
2:28:12 API there we could pull [ __ ] out of
2:28:13 there
2:28:15 too there's so many ideas is there's so
2:28:17 many ideas you know what I mean the
2:28:18 brain the brain is just going it's going
2:28:20 it's going you know what I mean it's
2:28:21 just the brain it's going is it going
2:28:23 for you too anyone else is anyone else
2:28:25 like this is anyone else is the brain
2:28:26 going is it going is it going oh you
2:28:28 want to see something I wrote Today
2:28:29 welcome to Chad add think I'm [ __ ]
2:28:32 fired
2:28:35 up holy [ __ ] I wrote this
2:28:41 [Music]
2:28:45 today so so the title of the the title
2:28:49 of the post is um 2023 is the year my
2:28:52 ADHD became a literal
2:28:56 superow and I was just talking about
2:28:58 yesterday I got access to the new
2:28:59 multimodal version of Chachi BT and I'm
2:29:01 just talking about the fact that I
2:29:03 thought it was going to take me time to
2:29:07 like get used to it but it just felt
2:29:09 completely natural to just switch
2:29:11 between all these different modes like
2:29:14 make an image make code make words make
2:29:16 code make this make that I thought that
2:29:18 was going to be discombobulating but it
2:29:20 was totally natural I'm like oh [ __ ]
2:29:21 that's ADHD like I feel like neuros
2:29:26 spicy Irregulars like the Irregulars on
2:29:28 this channel um actually have a distinct
2:29:32 Advantage right
2:29:33 now because look at what we just did
2:29:36 like like the ability to pop into the
2:29:38 tool like this and just go well what if
2:29:40 what if we did this what if we did that
2:29:42 and just literally go squirrel squirrel
2:29:44 squirrel squirrel but on the other side
2:29:47 of every one of those brain farts is a
2:29:49 functional
2:29:51 application holy
2:30:06 [ __ ] that just made me
2:30:12 dizzy good Lord people good lord lord
2:30:16 lord lord Lord what's going on over here
2:30:19 anything happening over
2:30:22 here 92311 my first day in apple
2:30:26 development having flashback overwhelm
2:30:29 and need to hibernate and build we
2:30:32 stopped because Json couldn't talk to
2:30:34 Swift language and now it doesn't
2:30:36 [ __ ]
2:30:41 matter
2:30:43 wow Silver Fox I just made a bot named
2:30:45 GPT turtle
2:30:47 I'll share when it's ready this stuff is
2:30:50 freaking awesome oh my God you guys are
2:30:53 amazing that is so
2:30:55 cool yeah please so
2:30:58 listen so so one of the things that's
2:31:00 been happening in here okay this
2:31:04 okay listen people listen hey let's pull
2:31:07 it together people let's pull it
2:31:08 together come on Gather in Gather in
2:31:12 listen
2:31:14 listen one of the things that's been
2:31:16 happening in this
2:31:18 channel
2:31:20 is
2:31:22 the participants because we've got
2:31:25 this other this this community Outlet
2:31:29 this Discord where people can
2:31:30 communicate and share [ __ ] as I've been
2:31:33 talking about stuff and making jokes and
2:31:35 we talk about hedgehogs and turtles and
2:31:36 all that stuff there's all these sort of
2:31:38 insidey joke kind of things people have
2:31:40 been making images and like as they get
2:31:41 inspired they make images and share
2:31:43 images we should absolutely be doing the
2:31:46 same with the Bots so if you've made
2:31:47 Bots
2:31:48 tonight go to the showand tell channel
2:31:50 of the Discord and share your Bots you
2:31:53 can also share images if you've been
2:31:56 cranking out images do that too or if
2:31:57 you've been making music or videos like
2:32:00 I kind of feel like back to this idea of
2:32:02 the great Renaissance maybe what this
2:32:05 what these lives become is a catalyst
2:32:08 for collaboration where we're all kind
2:32:11 of independently but in a collaborative
2:32:13 way just generating [ __ ] and then if we
2:32:16 go sh it together we all get to go play
2:32:18 with it so I want to see the Bots that
2:32:21 you built initially I thought it was Tom
2:32:23 Arnold talking about Chachi BT I was
2:32:25 like
2:32:30 what yeah Tom Arnold knows more about
2:32:32 chat GPT than you might
2:32:35 think don't
2:32:40 he wow
2:32:43 fubsy thank you for hanging out here
2:32:45 fubsy I know you come in a lot you're
2:32:46 you are uh you are on the verge of being
2:32:48 a uh an irregular there foobs oh you're
2:32:50 a subscriber of course you are an
2:32:53 irregular that's just irregular
2:32:56 altogether I won't ban you we have a
2:32:58 sense of
2:32:59 humor called my brother after the salon
2:33:02 yesterday and now he's fired up too
2:33:04 awesome that's the whole point that's
2:33:07 the other thing share share share what
2:33:09 you're learning share what you're
2:33:10 learning share the Bots you make share
2:33:13 the images you make share what you're
2:33:15 learning try to get someone who's pissed
2:33:17 off about AI or scared about AI on the
2:33:20 other side of that how do you do that I
2:33:23 don't know lighten it up make a joke
2:33:25 about
2:33:26 it
2:33:28 um have fun with it show them something
2:33:31 cool build them a bot actually you know
2:33:34 what honest to God on once you all get
2:33:36 access to the bot maker thingy the GPT
2:33:39 maker I'm still going to call them Bots
2:33:42 unfortunately
2:33:44 um once you get access to that I think
2:33:47 something that would
2:33:48 be like like chat GPT is mind-blowing
2:33:52 but what we did with Jim tonight like
2:33:53 Jim could have done this on his own but
2:33:55 if someone's never seen chat GPT before
2:33:57 and you're like hey come here let's go
2:33:59 do this you go into chat GPT you have't
2:34:01 write a poem or a song and and you let
2:34:03 him watch that and you go hey let's make
2:34:05 you your own chat
2:34:08 GPT you own a pizza shop Let's Make A
2:34:11 let's make a pizza advisor and you make
2:34:14 it and publish it for them and say here
2:34:16 you can use this to Market your business
2:34:18 and and put their URL in it
2:34:22 like this [ __ ] is [ __ ] magic do you
2:34:24 know that the McKenzie report that just
2:34:26 came out that said 80% of people in the
2:34:29 I think in the US are not using chat
2:34:32 GPT there's only 20% have used
2:34:37 it of those 80% there's probably it's
2:34:41 probably a majority haven't even [ __ ]
2:34:43 heard of
2:34:45 it
2:34:47 you don't think there's some opportunity
2:34:49 there for all of
2:34:53 us life's tough stuff when you're stupid
2:34:56 but nobody's [ __ ] stupid now we' got
2:34:57 chat jpt holy [ __ ] it's like we're all
2:34:59 [ __ ] Geniuses all of a
2:35:04 sudden wow wow
2:35:14 people GPT Jesus is T
2:35:17 I'm telling you going to grab your gpts
2:35:21 is going to be like domain
2:35:24 grabs get good ones now Jim go get your
2:35:28 business if someone if hopefully someone
2:35:31 didn't douche steal
2:35:34 that douche stealing it's a new term
2:35:37 coin
2:35:41 here wow people be Not Afraid nice
2:35:46 images I got to update those images dang
2:35:48 it I got too much to do fubsy more like
2:35:51 Jack Black I'll take the Jack Black
2:35:53 compliment he's
2:35:55 great smart funny like
2:35:58 it Christopher Ramsey subscrib thank you
2:36:00 for subscribing I appreciate that it
2:36:02 makes a big difference and if you go to
2:36:05 if you're a subscriber Chris and you go
2:36:07 to the Discord you'll have access to the
2:36:09 Irregulars Channel which is the private
2:36:12 you know for the
2:36:15 Irregulars first thank you very much
2:36:17 user
2:36:20 33662 I appreciate
2:36:24 that also became the number 150 member
2:36:27 on the team thanks I don't quite know
2:36:28 what that means but thank you I think
2:36:30 that's a good
2:36:34 thing I still can't edit custom
2:36:36 instructions that would
2:36:38 help yeah that's just this shit's going
2:36:41 to be a little janky for a few days my
2:36:44 mom has no earthly idea what AI means at
2:36:46 all listen no one
2:36:49 should no one outside of the tech and
2:36:52 engineering and Mathematics World should
2:36:54 know what AI
2:36:56 means
2:37:00 what what what open AI has done by
2:37:03 naming these things
2:37:05 gpts is that GPT is going to become
2:37:08 synonymous with the cool thing that does
2:37:10 that cool
2:37:12 thing they're not Bots right so so if
2:37:15 you say bot you think Ai and you think
2:37:18 science fiction and you think right and
2:37:21 that's very intimidating to
2:37:24 people oh it's just a GPT hey Mom I made
2:37:27 you a GPT what do you mean well I made
2:37:30 you a GPT of all your recipes what here
2:37:33 go
2:37:35 here okay type in peanut butter cookie
2:37:39 that's my recipe I
2:37:45 know I mean there there's so much that I
2:37:47 that I'm trying to figure out like like
2:37:50 if you upload a CSV
2:37:55 file let's say let's say you upload a
2:37:57 CSV file full of recipes and in that CSV
2:38:00 file are pictures of the of the
2:38:04 item will chat GPT pull that data out
2:38:08 and actually format you a nice little
2:38:10 recipe with the picture of the thing
2:38:12 because I know it can generate
2:38:15 them
2:38:19 two of my patients spontane
2:38:21 spontaneously mentioned chat gbt today I
2:38:24 think that's
2:38:25 gonna oh man oh holy [ __ ] balls
2:38:31 people think about all the the mental
2:38:36 health
2:38:38 and like Physical Therapy support and
2:38:42 like all of
2:38:43 the holy crap think think of healthc
2:38:46 care providers ability to create a GPT
2:38:51 of their expertise maybe with the book
2:38:54 that they've written or maybe with their
2:38:55 particular exercises if they're a
2:38:58 physical
2:38:59 therapist and they're going to be able
2:39:01 to
2:39:02 create a GPT that is an extension of
2:39:07 them so like nurses are chronically
2:39:10 overbooked and and you know under like
2:39:12 underst staffed and overbooked
2:39:15 and and what if some amount of their
2:39:18 workload could be offloaded to a GPT
2:39:21 that understands you know their their
2:39:24 their specialty and and a patient could
2:39:26 ask questions of
2:39:28 that
2:39:33 247 and then you could even probably
2:39:35 program the GPT in such a way to
2:39:40 say if anything that they're asking you
2:39:43 know constitutes they should be [ __ ]
2:39:46 talking to a doctor right
2:39:48 now pop up I don't know how to respond
2:39:51 to that oh Siri
2:39:56 really hey
2:39:58 Siri go
2:40:01 away
2:40:05 okay she's just got to get in the game
2:40:07 doesn't
2:40:12 she oh my goodness oh my my goodness
2:40:17 people you know what I'm saying do you
2:40:19 know what I'm saying listen listen you
2:40:21 know what I'm saying I know what I'm
2:40:22 saying do you know what I'm
2:40:26 saying wow all right I had friends who
2:40:30 made T
2:40:32 psychologists here oh psychologist here
2:40:35 completely obsessed yeah
2:40:39 right if you've written a book or even
2:40:41 if you haven't written a book you could
2:40:43 take your philosophy your how you
2:40:45 approach things how you ask questions
2:40:47 how you how you interact with
2:40:50 people and just you you basically just
2:40:52 have a conversation with the GPT maker
2:40:57 let it write all the
2:41:04 instructions
2:41:06 oh okay we're going to make go make a
2:41:09 new one we're going to go make a new one
2:41:12 we're going to go make a new
2:41:14 one
2:41:25 I'd like you to act like a dream analyst
2:41:29 who specializes in youngian
2:41:34 archetypes and in
2:41:38 particular I'd like you to ask people
2:41:41 about their dreams have them describe
2:41:44 them have you visualized that in an
2:41:50 image and then provide
2:41:53 analysis of the dream of that
2:41:56 [Music]
2:42:04 person the live was so exciting tonight
2:42:07 the tapping has gone to [ __ ] yeah
2:42:09 exactly yeah get tapping people what's
2:42:11 going on man man don't you like it man
2:42:14 I'm giving you all the good [ __ ] man
2:42:16 you got to be doing you're tapping are
2:42:18 you tapping are you Tapp well you know
2:42:19 it's problem you know you know why
2:42:21 people are probably not tapping they're
2:42:22 off like playing which is good I'd much
2:42:25 rather that you're playing and building
2:42:27 [ __ ] while we're doing this than
2:42:30 um than tapping but you know I don't
2:42:33 want the tapping is nice it's good
2:42:35 seeing the hearts go um do me a favor if
2:42:38 you haven't since we have people here
2:42:39 please share the live please follow my
2:42:42 channel I I am this close to 30 ,000
2:42:46 followers and my goal is to hit it by um
2:42:49 November 30th so we've got time I think
2:42:51 I'm going to hit it but please if you
2:42:54 find this valuable I teach multimedia
2:42:57 storytelling Christopher Ramsey can I I
2:43:00 I mean holy [ __ ] think think of the gpts
2:43:04 multimedia storytelling like in in your
2:43:06 next class as soon as soon as you as
2:43:09 soon as people have access to
2:43:12 this every student should be building
2:43:14 one of these that's their their own
2:43:16 storytelling version of this making a
2:43:18 bot that Taps and makes gpts I like it
2:43:22 okay so so we have a a Dream Maker
2:43:26 um wait let's give this GPT a name Dream
2:43:29 Weaver do you like that one um yeah
2:43:31 that's a good one because someone's
2:43:34 going to take that one if we can get it
2:43:35 let's get
2:43:39 it did we get
2:43:42 it generating your profile picture
2:43:47 by the way if you're new here what I'm
2:43:48 in is I'm in the chat GPT GPT
2:43:53 maker so this is oh that's pretty cool
2:43:56 but that doesn't feel dreamlike to me so
2:43:59 we did get Dream Weaver which is super
2:44:00 cool so we're going to keep that
2:44:03 um let's make Dream Weaver one
2:44:09 word let's try a different
2:44:13 image that evokes
2:44:17 depth and nighttime
2:44:22 colors and somehow represents yian
2:44:26 archetypes in a simple
2:44:29 [Music]
2:44:32 way what channel on YouTube the channel
2:44:36 on YouTube is AI learninglab
2:44:41 dtt hang on I will show
2:44:44 you
2:44:46 uh uh uh uh not that one that one AI
2:44:51 learning lab dtt that's the YouTube
2:44:54 channel where the the recordings of
2:44:56 these
2:44:57 are someone else had AI learning lab so
2:44:59 I added dtt for tick
2:45:04 tock I'm kicked out of all my Discord
2:45:06 anyone else have problems were you a bad
2:45:09 boy
2:45:11 Kenny here's the new profile picture oh
2:45:14 look at that gorgeous
2:45:16 that's a Dream
2:45:18 Weaver that's gorgeous because we got
2:45:20 some sort of astrological [ __ ] going
2:45:22 around the moon it's all dark and
2:45:24 nighty all right
2:45:29 um I don't want the description to
2:45:32 mention the Yi and
2:45:34 archetypes I just want it to say that
2:45:38 I'll help you understand your dreams or
2:45:40 something like that come up with a
2:45:41 creative
2:45:43 description that makes someone want to
2:45:45 talk about their dreams with
2:45:47 you oh nice
2:45:49 steo steo made a Dream Weaver
2:45:53 image which you can't really see it
2:45:55 there but it's like this lady that it
2:45:57 looks like flowing hair Silver Fox that
2:45:59 looks like your hair that's
2:46:08 [Music]
2:46:14 cool
2:46:16 [Music]
2:46:20 I'll help unravel the mysteries of your
2:46:24 dreams perfect
2:46:32 period help me come up
2:46:35 with three simple prompts that you can
2:46:39 start every interaction
2:46:41 with that will make it easy for someone
2:46:43 to talk about their dream
2:46:46 in a concise
2:46:55 way oh so if you don't know what I'm
2:46:58 doing here I'm I'm in this botmaker
2:47:01 thing the way open AI has done this
2:47:05 which is just [ __ ] brilliant is this
2:47:06 is basically just chat
2:47:08 GPT
2:47:10 except as I'm talking to it it's
2:47:12 actually building this bot in real time
2:47:15 over to the right so let's see what did
2:47:18 you dream last night can you share a
2:47:19 recurring dream describe a dream that
2:47:22 stood out to
2:47:24 you no those are three
2:47:27 questions as if you're only going to
2:47:30 talk to the
2:47:32 person once period what I'd like is
2:47:35 three questions about some specific
2:47:38 dream period it doesn't just need to be
2:47:41 last
2:47:42 night so for example the first question
2:47:45 might might
2:47:52 be something about the topic of the
2:47:55 dream or if it was scary or
2:47:59 exciting and then you follow that up to
2:48:01 ask for more details does that make
2:48:05 sense and someone trolled me the other
2:48:07 night why would you ask a computer if it
2:48:09 made sense I don't know have you ever
2:48:12 used these things you start talking to
2:48:14 them like people and they start
2:48:16 responding like
2:48:19 people what theme did your dream have
2:48:22 how did your dream make you
2:48:27 feel I think what theme your dream had
2:48:31 might be confusing to people what's a
2:48:34 dramatically more simple way to ask that
2:48:41 [Music]
2:48:44 question
2:49:02 okay I don't want these questions to be
2:49:04 used as the visual prompting questions
2:49:07 I'd like these three questions to be
2:49:11 what you ask a person in a sequential
2:49:14 manner
2:49:15 when you start talking to them period so
2:49:20 start out with some
2:49:22 niceties and then ask them if there's a
2:49:25 dream they'd like to talk about and then
2:49:28 ask them the first question get their
2:49:31 answer ask the second question
2:49:35 Etc uhuh let's see if it updates the
2:49:37 questions because basically what it did
2:49:39 was it wrote out those questions here
2:49:41 these are supposed to be like what you
2:49:43 would what you would click on on if you
2:49:46 didn't have any idea what this thing was
2:49:47 doing if we if we do this GPT right it
2:49:50 should be really intuitive what it'll
2:49:56 do I understand dream we will start
2:50:01 the would you like to try it
2:50:03 out
2:50:13 yes head a play around no I'm going to
2:50:15 play with it right here okay it doesn't
2:50:17 understand where it is that's okay we're
2:50:19 going to get rid of these
2:50:21 things boom
2:50:28 boom all
2:50:32 right so back over here okay so we're
2:50:34 gonna
2:50:38 go
2:50:40 [Music]
2:50:44 hello hope you're doing well have you
2:50:46 had any dreams recently you'd like to
2:50:47 talk
2:50:49 about yes I had a dream once that I was
2:50:53 in a rowboat rowing
2:50:55 backwards and the flat part of the boat
2:50:58 got caught in the muddy water of a small
2:51:01 pond and all of a
2:51:03 sudden the boat got swallowed up by the
2:51:06 water and I knew I was going to drown
2:51:09 and then I woke up
2:51:11 [Music]
2:51:14 period
2:51:16 that sounds like an intense dream dreams
2:51:18 about
2:51:19 water and what emotions did it bring up
2:51:22 for you after you woke up that's good
2:51:25 because I said ask the second question
2:51:27 was how does it make you
2:51:29 feel I felt
2:51:33 terrified because it felt so real but
2:51:37 relieved that I had actually
2:51:44 survived it's completely understandable
2:51:46 mix of Terror and relief dreams can
2:51:49 feel let's see were there any details
2:51:51 from that dream that stood out in
2:51:53 particular like the surroundings the
2:51:56 weather it was night and I remember that
2:52:00 the water was muddy and had no
2:52:03 visibility once it closed in around
2:52:08 [Music]
2:52:11 me creating images it asked three
2:52:14 questions and created an image holy
2:52:19 [ __ ] my
2:52:23 god oh you think they're calling the
2:52:25 playground the thing to the right okay
2:52:27 that's cool that's confusing because
2:52:30 let's see it's not bad I mean it's not
2:52:33 the water uh that's close
2:52:37 um could you make the image more about
2:52:40 Muddy Water closing in around me rather
2:52:44 than the boat boat floating on the top
2:52:46 of the
2:52:47 [Music]
2:53:01 [Music]
2:53:07 water the revised image now focuses more
2:53:10 on the muddy water closing around ooh
2:53:13 that's creepy
2:53:17 so it the boat in my dream didn't have a
2:53:21 motor on it but that was the kind of
2:53:24 color of the water it was very close to
2:53:27 shore I wasn't drowning like that it was
2:53:29 more like the boat went under the water
2:53:32 but that's actually that like
2:53:34 emotionally that's kind of what it was
2:53:37 like it was more it was more aggressive
2:53:39 than that
2:53:40 but let's see if there's anything more
2:53:43 you'd like to explore about this dream
2:53:45 or another feel free to
2:53:48 share well tell me what this one
2:54:01 means oh you know what this didn't do is
2:54:04 it didn't incorporate any of the youngi
2:54:05 archetypes in so let's go fix that did
2:54:08 anyone else see my joke The Young and
2:54:10 the Restless is this thing on mic check
2:54:14 that's good Christopher Ramsey dreams
2:54:17 about water can be turmoil sub
2:54:19 subconscious the sensation of drowning
2:54:22 and imply a feeling of being overwhelmed
2:54:24 by emotions look how slow it's going
2:54:26 their servers are getting hammered
2:54:29 probably because of this channel
2:54:30 everyone's out there making [ __ ] you're
2:54:32 going to need a GPT sharing thread in
2:54:34 Discord I totally
2:54:36 agree I totally agree well we're move
2:54:38 Forever Young we're moving to Mighty
2:54:40 Network so I'm going to I'll figure out
2:54:42 where we do it whether we do it in
2:54:43 Discord or somewhere El else but um
2:54:47 yeah okay um let's go back over to this
2:54:51 side I actually like this with the
2:54:52 ticktock thing I'm like okay here's the
2:54:54 bot we made here's how we go fix
2:55:00 it while the GPT is really good right
2:55:04 now and I don't want to lose any of the
2:55:07 three
2:55:08 question
2:55:13 interaction it forgot to
2:55:15 include any comparison of yian
2:55:20 archetypes which I think could be an
2:55:22 exciting extension to the analysis
2:55:26 period can you update the
2:55:28 GPT so that it seamlessly incorporates
2:55:33 that analysis as
2:55:38 [Music]
2:55:43 appropriate
2:55:49 then create an image of the dream yeah
2:55:51 that's what that's what I'm doing here
2:55:52 isn't this cool it's like huh it's so
2:55:55 good the context of Dream Weaver has
2:55:58 been updated to include a seamless
2:56:00 integration of yian ar yian ar archetype
2:56:03 analysis after the initial three
2:56:04 questions about the user's Dream Dream
2:56:07 Weaver will provide insights connecting
2:56:09 the dreams themes and symbols to yian
2:56:12 archetypes that are relevant this will
2:56:15 enhance the analysis Dream Weaver will
2:56:17 maintain the friendly and structured
2:56:18 conversation
2:56:20 flow anything else you would like to
2:56:22 adjust or
2:56:27 add when do you think it makes the most
2:56:30 sense to generate the image of the dream
2:56:33 in that
2:56:41 sequence I mean think about if you
2:56:43 wanted to create create a dream analysis
2:56:46 application think about what you would
2:56:49 have to write and research and you'd
2:56:54 have to find a programmer you'd like
2:56:56 just the amount
2:56:58 of work that it would take to do
2:57:01 something like this even at a shitty
2:57:03 execution
2:57:06 level is
2:57:09 daunting and we just whip this up in
2:57:11 five
2:57:13 minutes
2:57:15 let's see what did it suggest engage
2:57:18 with niceties ask the user if they have
2:57:21 a dream they'd like to share if they do
2:57:24 proceed to gather the details with the
2:57:26 collected information generate an image
2:57:28 of the dream follow up with an analysis
2:57:31 that includes Yi and
2:57:34 archetypes that's that sounds
2:57:42 perfect updating GPT so it's it's
2:57:45 writing our GPT in the
2:57:47 background and listen if you're if
2:57:50 you're a tarot card reader or if you're
2:57:52 a dream analyst and you've written a
2:57:53 book or you've got you know the specific
2:57:57 dream analysis that you like you could
2:57:59 upload that as the knowledge for this
2:58:01 for this
2:58:02 GPT all right it's now
2:58:09 ready hi
2:58:13 there
2:58:16 hi I'm Dream Weaver eager to delve into
2:58:18 the Landscapes of your dreams if you've
2:58:20 had a dream you wish to explore tell me
2:58:21 about it what dream has been lingering
2:58:24 in your
2:58:26 mind there was one where I was walking
2:58:29 down a dusty road with a
2:58:31 llama and we spotted a cute little
2:58:37 hedgehog but before we could get it it
2:58:40 ran
2:58:41 away and revealed a little pond
2:58:45 where we met a
2:58:48 turtle and the turtle said to me aren't
2:58:52 you that guy question
2:58:54 mark and I said who and it said Tom
2:59:00 Arnold and I was like
2:59:03 No And it was like oh that's
2:59:08 disappointing and then I woke
2:59:13 up
2:59:16 [Laughter]
2:59:22 oh what an intriguing dream let's de
2:59:24 delve a bit a bit
2:59:26 [Music]
2:59:28 deeper all right I'm GNA fix something
2:59:35 here I want to
2:59:37 add
2:59:39 a Nuance to the tool period
2:59:45 Dreamweaver should never ask multiple
2:59:48 questions in a row unless it gets an
2:59:50 answer back from the
2:59:52 person so never ask all three questions
2:59:55 at once ask one question get an
2:59:59 answer and then move on to the next
3:00:01 question does that make
3:00:04 [Music]
3:00:08 sense it's late isn't it oh it's
3:00:12 1111 Kyle do pay $20 a month anyone
3:00:16 that's not paying $20 a month to open AI
3:00:18 right now is an
3:00:19 idiot absolute [ __ ] idiot this is
3:00:24 this
3:00:26 is if nothing else that'll be this will
3:00:28 be the most fun you've ever had create
3:00:30 creating an application because you're
3:00:32 creating an application that's very
3:00:34 sophisticated without having to build an
3:00:36 application dream weever is now
3:00:38 configured okay great um would you like
3:00:40 to proceed with this nuanced interaction
3:00:42 model yes
3:00:46 [Music]
3:00:49 okay
3:00:52 great hello there can I tell you about a
3:01:02 [Music]
3:01:06 dream please tell me what did you see
3:01:08 your experience in your
3:01:12 dream well I was out of
3:01:19 party well I was at a party and I was
3:01:22 talking like Vincent
3:01:24 Price and he's like you know an old and
3:01:28 timey movie
3:01:29 star and then someone tapped me on the
3:01:32 shoulder and I turned around and it was
3:01:33 Vincent Price as Dracula and it scared
3:01:37 me and then I had a sip of a
3:01:40 cocktail and Olivia De havland ran into
3:01:45 the room and said we must go immediately
3:01:48 we must go immediately please let's go
3:01:51 now period and then I woke
3:01:56 [Music]
3:01:59 up so let me get this straight it's a
3:02:01 channel where he just makes jokes to
3:02:04 himself yeah that's pretty much
3:02:06 it what a vivid dream Vincent Price's
3:02:09 distinctive voice and PR of portrayal of
3:02:12 characters like Dracula particularly
3:02:14 memorable and Olivia deavin sudden
3:02:16 entrance adds a sense of urgency before
3:02:18 we delve deeper how did you feel when
3:02:20 Olivia deav deavin appeared and urged
3:02:24 you to
3:02:25 leave I felt
3:02:27 relieved Vincent scared me and I was
3:02:31 trying to talk like him so I felt like I
3:02:33 was
3:02:39 caught
3:02:43 interesting now that you have more
3:02:45 context let's visualize the scene I will
3:02:47 create an image and see how it turns
3:02:49 out all right are you doing
3:02:54 that
3:03:04 okay we need chat gp4 for this you
3:03:07 absolutely do this is gp4 Turbo this is
3:03:11 their new fancy ass model this
3:03:14 is staggeringly remarkable this is just
3:03:17 one tool within
3:03:25 it there scared me there's Vincent
3:03:29 Price's Dracula and Olivia to
3:03:36 half all right let's go that's
3:03:41 perfect and then now it should give us
3:03:51 Yan let's
3:03:53 see the appearance of Dracula could
3:03:56 symbolize the fear of being exposed or
3:03:58 the darker aspects of self that's young
3:04:00 Ian Olivia davin's urgent entrance in
3:04:04 the feeling of relief might indicate a
3:04:06 desire for escape from a troubling or
3:04:08 startling realization it's as if another
3:04:11 part of your psyche was stepping in to
3:04:13 move away from the situation that causes
3:04:16 fear or anxiety these elements might be
3:04:19 reflecting an internal dialogue about
3:04:21 authenticity and The Masks we wear this
3:04:24 is [ __ ] genius are you [ __ ]
3:04:26 kidding
3:04:29 me it's an invitation to explore what
3:04:32 parts of yourself you feel comfortable
3:04:35 expressing and what causes you anxiety
3:04:37 in your Waking Life does this
3:04:40 interpretation resonate with
3:04:42 you it's blowing my [ __ ]
3:04:50 mind it's truly fascinating how dreams
3:04:53 can right and then chat GP never judges
3:04:57 right your reaction tells me that we've
3:05:00 touched something significant for you
3:05:02 dreams are deeply personal I
3:05:06 people is anybody paying attention let's
3:05:09 save this let's publish this
3:05:11 [ __ ]
3:05:12 boom Dream Weaver by Kyle
3:05:17 Shannon so what you're saying is the
3:05:19 Hedgehog was freaked out by seeing what
3:05:23 I thought was Tom
3:05:25 Arnold Dream
3:05:28 Weaver but
3:05:30 [Music]
3:05:34 down all right let's go to show and
3:05:39 tell here's a super cool GPT I made that
3:05:43 will anal analyze your dreams and even
3:05:45 visualize them for you
3:05:48 period it is shockingly good for
3:05:53 the ridiculously little amount of work I
3:05:56 put into
3:05:59 [Music]
3:06:02 it all right everybody can go play with
3:06:04 Dream Weaver now I gotta go to bed
3:06:07 people but I don't want to it's like
3:06:08 holy [ __ ] holy [ __ ] what is happening
3:06:12 all right we lost a bunch of people cuz
3:06:14 you know we geeking out there that's all
3:06:17 right all right welcome everybody if
3:06:19 you're new here welcome welcome welcome
3:06:22 if you're not new here thanks for
3:06:24 hanging out with me all night it's
3:06:25 getting late it's late on the East Coast
3:06:27 because it's late in Denver I'm in
3:06:29 Denver GPT that gives you the perfect
3:06:31 believable excuse to get out of a
3:06:33 conversation party situation call it
3:06:35 breadcrumbs seriously guys like
3:06:38 any this
3:06:41 is you know when you're in a conference
3:06:43 ation with someone and they're like I
3:06:45 had an idea for an app and you're like
3:06:48 oh God here we go top of the iceberg
3:06:50 Kyle and and you're like just because I
3:06:53 work in software doesn't mean I can help
3:06:55 you make your stupid [ __ ] app but now
3:06:58 it's like any teeny little idea for an
3:07:02 app you can
3:07:04 just make
3:07:08 it some version of it and then you know
3:07:12 this is going to get more and more and
3:07:13 more sophisticated this is version 1.0
3:07:16 of
3:07:18 this and I mean what Sam Alman said at
3:07:21 the end of the the keynote on dev day on
3:07:24 Monday was what we present next year is
3:07:27 going to make what we presented this
3:07:29 year look
3:07:31 quaint so he knows what they're working
3:07:33 on that is going to be out next
3:07:37 year learn this
3:07:40 [ __ ] get curious about this [ __ ]
3:07:47 Vincent bright price taught us how to
3:07:49 have a creepy laugh and the ticket is to
3:07:52 say the
3:07:54 words I wonder how how they are marketed
3:07:57 so people use them well Silver Fox I
3:08:00 think that becomes
3:08:01 the I mean that becomes the you can make
3:08:05 money the million-dollar question right
3:08:08 is that like like if I if I really
3:08:10 wanted to take that Dream Weaver one
3:08:11 seriously like I'd do a whole marketing
3:08:13 campaign around that and I try to drive
3:08:15 people to it I wouldn't do it now
3:08:17 because um it's there's no monetization
3:08:21 thing but in a month or so there'll be
3:08:22 some sort of monetization thing and then
3:08:25 at the point at which you can embed
3:08:27 these things into your websites and you
3:08:29 can monetize them independently and
3:08:31 charge for them which I'm sure that'll
3:08:32 come within six
3:08:34 months this is going to be a whole this
3:08:37 is going to be an industry and and mark
3:08:41 my words so so
3:08:44 so chat GPT here is
3:08:49 essentially what chat gpt's done here is
3:08:52 they looked at what po was doing and
3:08:54 they looked at the abject failure that
3:08:56 plugins
3:08:57 were and they said why don't we make
3:09:01 what Po's doing but do it
3:09:04 right and we'll allow people to upload
3:09:06 their own data and will allow them to
3:09:09 call actions will allow them to make
3:09:12 true applications
3:09:15 and we won't call them Bots we'll call
3:09:16 them gpts so we do the branding
3:09:20 thing but mark my words this is the
3:09:24 beginning of a new
3:09:27 industry po po had it first but this is
3:09:30 a different
3:09:32 thing it doesn't matter that PO had it
3:09:34 first I watch this PO will respond to
3:09:39 this with some version of these deeper
3:09:43 function alties within
3:09:45 Poots and then I think you'll start to
3:09:48 see
3:09:50 um Claude will definitely have these Pi
3:09:56 you'll be able to make conversational
3:09:58 Bots with pi that'll have all sorts of
3:10:00 cool
3:10:04 functionality the Google [ __ ] Google's
3:10:06 going to copy this this is this is the
3:10:08 beginning this is the beginning of a
3:10:09 whole whole thing absolutely
3:10:21 scrolled too hard and it went for hair
3:10:24 growth went to hair growth Geeks live
3:10:27 she says hello hey hair growth geek
3:10:30 she's got her life going right now she's
3:10:33 so sweet that's really
3:10:36 cool what do we focus on learning
3:10:40 specifically so love Medical 11 that's
3:10:44 cute
3:10:45 um it doesn't [ __ ]
3:10:48 matter pay your 20 bucks to chat gbt
3:10:51 start
3:10:53 learning multimodal chat GPT what's that
3:10:57 mean what's
3:10:58 multimodal it can see images it can make
3:11:02 images it can code it can write it can
3:11:05 hear it can
3:11:07 talk it can do data
3:11:11 analysis this is just gp4 just as it is
3:11:15 right now it can like do all of these
3:11:18 things start exploring that upload
3:11:21 images see what it
3:11:23 sees upload a picture and have it write
3:11:27 you keywords for that image or have it
3:11:29 describe that image or have it write a
3:11:31 poem about that image will those gpts
3:11:34 made accessible on personal or business
3:11:36 websites Lauren you're the third or
3:11:38 fourth person to ask that tonight I
3:11:40 think that's
3:11:41 probably that's
3:11:43 probably it it it will be a massive
3:11:46 request
3:11:48 because how I made three powerful
3:11:52 applications tonight just not even
3:11:53 trying so if I made one of those for my
3:11:56 business or someone else made one of
3:11:58 those for their businesses people are
3:12:00 going to want these Bots inside their
3:12:02 Business website so I would
3:12:06 imagine
3:12:08 by February they'll probably have some
3:12:11 sort of embedding that you can embed the
3:12:13 in a in a uh in a website it's not there
3:12:17 now you could certainly link to it right
3:12:20 like it's just a URL like if you go to
3:12:23 Discord right now you can link to my
3:12:26 Dreamweaver site so you could link to it
3:12:28 within your site but to actually embed
3:12:30 it you're going to need that if you
3:12:32 missed that during the dev conference
3:12:34 wait what was that JFC guy also open AI
3:12:36 is going to pay people with the best
3:12:38 apps yeah so so initially when they
3:12:41 launched the store
3:12:43 the GPT store you're going to be able to
3:12:46 go you know use everyone else's Bots and
3:12:49 discover them the ones that are the most
3:12:52 popular like Dream Weaver go use Dream
3:12:55 Weaver for me let's get that let's get
3:12:57 that thing trending
3:12:59 um or or or Sin City
3:13:03 sipper is pretty good too it's both of
3:13:06 those are good Bots I think I think I
3:13:08 got two hits on my hand and we're not
3:13:10 even trying and I'm GNA take down Jim
3:13:13 Ross the storage king of Salt Lake City
3:13:16 he's going
3:13:18 down
3:13:21 um but yeah they're going to start rev
3:13:25 rev sharing with Bots that do
3:13:29 well and then at some point they'll let
3:13:31 you monetize them I bet and they they'll
3:13:33 take their 20% 30% whatever it is
3:13:36 doesn't [ __ ]
3:13:38 matter wow all right people listen I got
3:13:41 to go my mods thank you very much for
3:13:44 tonight I know this was a bit of a weird
3:13:45 one but I cannot use Dreamweaver because
3:13:48 I do not have access to the latest
3:13:49 version of chat GPT oh that's actually
3:13:51 interesting what's your Discord so the
3:13:53 Discord if you go
3:14:00 to the AI salon so go to the salon. a go
3:14:05 to that
3:14:06 URL and then the third link on the page
3:14:09 is the
3:14:11 Discord and the first link describes
3:14:14 what the salon is and what our values
3:14:16 are so please go look at the values if
3:14:18 they resonate cool if not cool too but
3:14:21 not the community for
3:14:23 you um and yeah the Discord is the third
3:14:27 link
3:14:28 down is that
3:14:31 right no fourth link down the Meetup is
3:14:34 the third link down the Discord is the
3:14:36 fourth link down it says
3:14:39 Discord save all Salon Bot names oh yeah
3:14:43 that's a good idea
3:14:59 yep I'd like to create a bot for a
3:15:02 community I created called the AI
3:15:10 [Music]
3:15:11 salon
3:15:23 [Music]
3:15:25 I pay for chat GPD but cannot access the
3:15:27 latest version even if I pretend to be
3:15:31 from
3:15:32 Boston it'll come all this stuff is
3:15:36 new
3:15:41 um
3:15:45 I just want it to be called AI
3:15:49 [Music]
3:16:11 salon
3:16:14 so I have to talk to Elon yes you have
3:16:16 to talk to
3:16:17 Elon so so what did so so so that Elon
3:16:21 will call Sam exactly this is how I get
3:16:23 all my stuff done with chat GPT you talk
3:16:26 to Elon and then Elon calls Sam even
3:16:28 though they're not on speaking terms
3:16:30 he'll put in a good word and Sam will do
3:16:32 it Kyle we up late today oh my God kakal
3:16:35 if you're just joining holy [ __ ] so okay
3:16:39 AI Salon okay so that's saved let's save
3:16:41 that
3:16:47 confirm okay and then we're going to go
3:16:49 do one
3:16:50 more this is very good call whoever
3:16:53 suggested that thank you very
3:16:56 much I want to create a bot called AI
3:16:59 learning
3:17:04 [Music]
3:17:11 labam shut up shut Swang Swang Swang
3:17:15 your goto AI educational
3:17:23 bot great the AI learning lab will be a
3:17:26 bot designed to assist with AI education
3:17:29 holy [ __ ] you know what we can do no
3:17:31 Kyle
3:17:34 what I could take the
3:17:37 transcriptions we we'll see how much
3:17:38 they let you upload I could take the
3:17:40 transcriptions of all of the recordings
3:17:43 of these AI lives and use it as a
3:17:46 knowledge base for this
3:17:50 bot it'll probably cuss at you
3:17:52 occasionally say stupid
3:17:58 [ __ ]
3:18:01 yes I just made a bot to assist with AI
3:18:04 education yeah that's it's brilliant
3:18:06 Silver Fox that's very cool I made GPT
3:18:08 to make ideas for gpts that's [ __ ]
3:18:11 perfect
3:18:13 JPC guy that's [ __ ]
3:18:17 perfect I I made a
3:18:19 GPT it's [ __ ]
3:18:26 awesome oh my
3:18:28 God all right I hate that image
3:18:33 um but whatever save it I'll come back
3:18:37 and I'll make these good tomorrow
3:18:38 actually actually you know what maybe
3:18:39 what we'll do is May maybe I'll start um
3:18:43 refining the AI Salon bot and the AI
3:18:46 learning lab bots in in real time I'll
3:18:49 start doing that on these
3:18:50 things why does this bot stop everything
3:18:53 and mention Cowboys occasionally exactly
3:18:58 why can't bot search the internet for
3:19:00 Real Time data like a search engine they
3:19:03 can
3:19:05 wait hang
3:19:07 on pretty sure they can
3:19:11 edit um go to
3:19:14 configure yeah web oh turned
3:19:17 off
3:19:19 but right
3:19:21 there so I've got web browsing turned on
3:19:24 image generation turned on and code
3:19:26 interpreter turned on we didn't even
3:19:28 dick with code interpreter
3:19:29 tonight I like I I can barely get my
3:19:33 head around the fact that you can that
3:19:36 that a you can make these bots so easy
3:19:38 that it helps make them for
3:19:40 you but that
3:19:45 that you can do all this other [ __ ] with
3:19:47 it like this is this is very
3:19:50 sophisticated application development
3:19:52 for dummies like
3:19:56 we I think the tech The Tech Community
3:19:59 is going to be [ __ ] salty over this
3:20:02 [Laughter]
3:20:05 one hang on I'll share it don't leave uh
3:20:08 JPC guys share it share it in the uh in
3:20:11 the um show in Channel over in um on the
3:20:15 on the salon
3:20:35 Discord okay let's
3:20:38 see all right seriously I got to go
3:20:40 people what why are you making me stay
3:20:42 here Kyle can you show how you find your
3:20:45 Tik Tok live recordings yes I can hang
3:20:47 on U you just you just keep me staying
3:20:51 people you just keep you just keep
3:20:53 you're burning me out man come on
3:21:00 man okay there YouTube so that's my
3:21:03 company that's the YouTube channel AI
3:21:06 learninglab
3:21:08 dtt I'm only out of a job when they can
3:21:11 make themselves run better yeah Pate I
3:21:14 so so seriously so Pate here works for
3:21:17 Google in the
3:21:19 TPU
3:21:21 area um making those things run good um
3:21:25 the AI operations roles like
3:21:28 technologists are very very secure for a
3:21:31 long time because keeping these machines
3:21:34 up and running and efficient and all
3:21:36 that sort of stuff is huge Amanda Wells
3:21:39 GPT is plagiarism be careful what you
3:21:41 see uh it's not a Manda Welsh when you
3:21:44 understand how it works it is not
3:21:46 plagiarism um it can depending on what
3:21:49 it was trained on um look an awful lot
3:21:52 like that but it's not how it works it's
3:21:54 not how they work technically so happy
3:21:57 to dig in deep on that sometime I can't
3:21:59 do it tonight because it's [ __ ] 11:30
3:22:02 here I I have a I have a panel I'm
3:22:04 speaking on tomorrow morning so so this
3:22:07 is not wise but I'm all super excited
3:22:09 about this also by the way GPT is not
3:22:12 plagiarism but if you if you've been
3:22:14 here at all for a few minutes watching
3:22:16 what I built with those Bots holy [ __ ]
3:22:19 it this is Way Beyond just generating
3:22:23 text these things are doing things
3:22:26 significantly Beyond just writing
3:22:28 crap um they are generating things the G
3:22:32 in GPT stands for generative not P for
3:22:36 plagiarism the P stands for
3:22:38 pre-trained not plagiarism um but one
3:22:41 day they will make themselves better yep
3:22:44 they
3:22:46 will how do you share the GPT just
3:22:49 convers just the conversation share link
3:22:52 yeah I just copied the URL um from the
3:22:55 browser window and I pasted it
3:22:58 into
3:22:59 um so I just pasted the URL from the
3:23:02 browser window and then it provided it
3:23:04 it produced this little web
3:23:09 preview Kyle called Elon bought a Tesla
3:23:11 booked this space flight and then Elon
3:23:13 called Sam well yeah I I thought
3:23:16 everyone knew that's how it went if if
3:23:19 you don't if you don't buy a SpaceX
3:23:22 ticket he's not going to talk to Sam for
3:23:24 you come on people you know how the
3:23:26 world works
