14. 2:41so uh I made this with generative AI look at that and then I made a bunch of stuff so I made that there's a new thing if
15. 2:52you haven't seen it called ideola or ideogram.ai that can do text and I've just been messing around with
16. 3:01it and popped that little bad boy up today and then I put it in Discord and someone's like that's gotta be a shirt
17. 3:08so so then I went over to printful and set up a shirt so we'll see it's none of it's none of it's done yet so and I gotta deal with
18. 3:18my car tomorrow so it might take me I might get it done over the weekend but anyway how can I use AI to kill people awesome that's fantastic
19. 3:27um go get yourself an open source model and do what you need to do I suppose ah uh welcome so if you're new here my name is Kyle Shannon
20. 3:40this AI learning lab um big part of what we do here is talk about okay so all this AI stuff's coming what the hell am I supposed to do about

23. 4:12letters in them and you're like but mid Journey can't do that and stable diffusion can't do that what is this
24. 4:18magic you speak of so I'll get to that in a second um so if you're brand new to this AI stuff um go here go to chat.openai.com that's
25. 4:28the official chat GPT website feel free to screenshot these um Claude Bing and uh chat GPT are kind of
26. 4:38the three that I use in conjunction with one another because they all do something slightly con slightly different Claude you can put longer
27. 4:45prompts in Bing's connected to the Internet is just kind of the the best right now um prompts.chat that thing below is
28. 4:55there's an echo that might just be on your side but maybe not I don't know let me if there's an echo let me know other folks
29. 5:03Turtle kid is 26 now I know isn't that crazy um prompts.chat will teach you how to talk to these things couple other things
30. 5:12um some other things to play with bard.google.com that's Google's entry into this it's not bad it's getting
31. 5:18better and apparently Gemini is coming and there's there was a an article in I don't know some news rag that was
32. 5:26talking about the uh the AI the AI Bros are fighting uh because the The Bard guys are saying that um Gemini that's coming is going to be
33. 5:36five times better than gpt4 and I think Sam Altman said yeah that's marketing and it probably is but if it's anywhere
34. 5:44in the neighborhood of gpt4 that would be amazing it will likely be multimodal so it's worth just you know start paying
35. 5:50attention to what's going on there um perplexity.ai is good if you go to labs.perplexity you can play with metas
36. 5:57llama 2 models and then Pi dot AI is chatty GPT it'll talk a lot and it's connected to the internet it's very
37. 6:05interesting oh thank you for the Llama Winston uh and then um Poe is uh another one where you can play with multiple models and you can
38. 6:13have uh Bots and you can make your own bot it's a good way to practice prompting now pictures pitches so mid journey is
39. 6:23really good these things were all made with ideogram so ideogram.ai that one right there it's like a it's like a week old
40. 6:37it's like like they're they're Discord still has that new car smell and my car doesn't because it has an
41. 6:44electrical problem so it's probably got that fried electronic smell um Leonardo and clip drop are both based
42. 6:51on stable diffusion so all of these are good to play with promptbook openart.ai promptbook we'll teach you how to talk
43. 6:57to these things and and kind of what's possible with them and then futurepedia.io is uh a big old directory of stuff now now let's go play
44. 7:10so there's the there's the uh printful printful little mock-up I did um what's going on here why is my

59. 10:20available to like the open source Community to be able to train their stuff on these books but they're pretty
60. 10:27certain that most of the major llms also trained on it so so let's see I'm I mean reedlar I'm not word I'm irre read lar I'm not weird I
61. 10:41not weird I regular oh those are funny yeah so anyway yeah so this is about about how accurate these things are
62. 10:53where it doesn't quite get them right but it gets them right enough that with with two or three remixes you can get it and sometimes
63. 11:02um flipping the order where the where the words show up and the sentence can make it make a cool make a difference

73. 13:11with that other one with this one I uh I just went until I got it and it's it's still a little odd but I took it
74. 13:18into Photoshop they've got a super upsize in Photoshop that does some generative AI upscaling and uh yeah what's the fee amount right

81. 14:38and we were assuming it would be mid-journey or stable diffusion or maybe Google would come out with something or
82. 14:43maybe Adobe would come out with something nope some company out of left field so what this is going to do is it's going to force the hand
83. 14:51of any of those other Technologies if they're sitting on this capability they're probably going to push it out faster so um
84. 15:03button is grayed out on this site button might be grayed out simply because it's uh it's overloaded I I logged in today
85. 15:10and at some point it said you know we're just busy right now give us give us a bit who are they I have no idea I have
86. 15:16no idea who they are I don't know if they're funded I don't know if it's a couple of kids in a case of Red Bull that
87. 15:22got together over a weekend and popped together some models I have no zero ideas I actually learned about open uh idea
88. 15:32ideogram.ai from someone in here I think it was the night or the night after it launched they said what do you
89. 15:39think of ideogram and I'm like I don't know nothing about it and I went and looked at it and I was like holy crap

91. 15:54um I'm a little distracted because my car's electrical system just blew up I'm trying to figure out what do I do I work

95. 16:35and I heard a click and everything went black and then I talked to her about it and she goes well let me ask some clarifying
96. 16:42questions you know did the engine attempt to turn over and then the scream went black or like she has troubleshooting questions she actually
97. 16:50had a decent clue what was going on she said it's either the fuse box or a dead battery um and I think I think it might end up I
98. 16:57think it's probably a bad relay in the fuse box there was a whole section of the fuse box that all the fuses were
99. 17:03dead when the guy was trying to jump it so uh so I think that's going on um but anyway that's so so that's what's

131. 23:09hopped over to ideogram and instead of doing like trying to find a stock photo and then figuring out a headline I just
132. 23:16figured out the headline and told it what I wanted and I just did it enough time still I got something that worked
133. 23:21and popped it in there it didn't matter like it was only going to be up for five seconds so it didn't really [ __ ]
134. 23:26matter right I didn't need to do any pixel peeping so um yeah these these tools are gonna get these tools are gonna get quite powerful
135. 23:36quite quite powerful I mean they're already pretty [ __ ] powerful uh even to Troy drecker what's happening or Decker sorry [Laughter] um

139. 24:09a dead relay or something because it was a lot of that stuff uh that's the first thing I do is ask pie pie is pretty cool

141. 24:23let me just ask you one more clarifying question pie is definitely 20 questions um how would you think AI takes over in all Industries
142. 24:36[Applause] um I think the most the more the a general answer that I can give that sort of you can look at each
143. 24:50industry and figure out what it's going to be for each of them is that what generative AI is going to do first
144. 24:59is it's going to take all the repetitive tactical execution work and it's going to automate it so just think about every industry so if
145. 25:10if you're talking about sales people a big part of what sales people do after they make the phone call is data entry
146. 25:17into Salesforce and if you've ever used Salesforce it's an abject [ __ ] nightmare I'm sorry that was being too kind
147. 25:27um it is such a complicated nasty Haven of shitty user interface and too many features added over too many decades but
148. 25:38you can't turn it off right because all your shit's in there and so so one of the first things that's going to happen is complicated systems
149. 25:46like that and repetitive kind of low-level tactical execution work that's all going to get automated right so at
150. 25:52some point whether Salesforce does it or someone else does it salesperson does the call the system will probably know what
151. 26:01number they called it'll probably record the call transcribe the call create notes for the call generate an account
152. 26:08in Salesforce if one doesn't already exist generate a contact in Salesforce based on the person that called if one doesn't already exist
153. 26:17create a meeting and put the notes for the meeting in and then schedule a next meeting if the salesman was any good right so that's
154. 26:27like one little teeny sliver think of every single job that's computer mediated in any way take the complicated
155. 26:35repetitive [ __ ] part of the job that gets automated out so that's the first thing that happens I think well probably before that is just
156. 26:45personal productivity stuff employees are figuring out ways to use these things to write emails faster write a
157. 26:53blog post faster just just personal productivity will happen then you'll get into the automation stuff then you start
158. 26:59to get into all sorts of crazy [ __ ] where entire business models are going to be changed um overnight so I think Consulting is in
159. 27:12for a rude awakening I think uh the adding Industries in for a rude awakening I think the creative arts are
160. 27:18in for a rude awakening they're in the middle of striking right now to try to prevent it sorry I just noticed my hair is
161. 27:26some version of puffy um I'm really not well no I obviously am I talk about my hair a lot but but I never have although to be fair
162. 27:39to myself I've never gone live for three hours a night multiple nights seven days a week before in my life so you know what are you gonna do
163. 27:51um I don't know if that answers your question bus but but it's it's uh it's gonna be quite transformative I mean if
164. 27:57you just think about if you take the repetitive shitty stuff and automate it how many people how many people's job is it to do that
165. 28:06repetitive you know low-level work a lot so if that part of the job gets automated out what do those people do I
166. 28:13don't know do they upskill and do other things do they get laid off I don't know um yes put that a regular turtle
167. 28:21everywhere Kyle I have chat GPT linked to 11 labs to get voice so how does The Voice show emotion without using punctuation um
168. 28:35right now I don't think you can I don't think 11 Labs has any kind of XML syntax in their API but but they might so I
169. 28:44know within 11 Labs you can pick from a pull down menu do you want angry whisper happy sad um if in their API you can you can specify
170. 28:59emotion within text then you could have chat GPT doing so and this this is what I want to do with 11 Labs I just I don't think they do
171. 29:10this in their API yet but if they do this is how you do it you um you generate text or you write text for whatever you want 11 labs to say
172. 29:20and then in chat EPT you give it okay here are the 11 Labs of motion and here's how they structure their XML or
173. 29:27their Json whatever format they want it in and please analyze the text and figure out what's the most appropriate emotion
174. 29:36and and basically tag all of what the person's saying with the XML or Json and then up left upload that
175. 29:44to 11 labs and then you'll get different emotion within the thing there's two things that that all of these voice
176. 29:50synthesizers are missing right now one of them's emotion and and that I think once you can tag it and have it do those different things
177. 29:58um that's handled and then the other one is Cadence right when do you slow down when do you have a longer pause
178. 30:05when you talk fast you know and maybe excited handles that um maybe those emotional shifts handle the Cadence um
179. 30:18but yeah so so anyway that should I'm on team vertical stripes thank you uh so that that should help Robert uh check
180. 30:26out the the 11 Labs API if if they have uh XML or Json that you can put in there and send to the API um then you could generate that with
181. 30:39Chachi PT and you can make money with cha chippy tea at 11 lab synthesizing voice and talking to people as if they were human
182. 30:48just like this channel is he live he doesn't seem to be answering my questions I think he must be a recording
183. 30:54I'm sorry Dave I'm afraid I can't do that get hit all right you guys you wait why why can't I get duet AI
184. 31:11um I just because uh Google's rolling It Out Slow you mean you mean the Google adding it into Google Docs and [ __ ] like
185. 31:21that I just don't think they've launched it yet um it'll come it's it it'll come Kyle workshops I know I know hey here's the
186. 31:29good news I I got caught up on I was behind on AI Salon video uploads um IO Ronda and I are going to do a
187. 31:39workshop for her Channel and and so I set up I've got that meeting tomorrow um I started thinking about the workshop
188. 31:49and I'm and how I can take the thing I did for the big company and do so it's it's in the works I I was actually
189. 31:55thinking about it today uh make me a mod and I'll make an FAQ and list all the tools du jour for folks okay great I'll
190. 32:01definitely do that corvino um all right I'm gonna reach out to the folks that have said they want to model I'll reach out and we can set up
191. 32:08meetings that's a really good idea very very good idea I like it I like it open or closed Source this Tool uh is closed source
192. 32:19they also don't have an API they're a week old I asked them I'm like do you have an API and they're like they're like no
193. 32:28and they answered me like within 10 seconds I'm like oh my God you're brand new there's like 250 people in the Discord
194. 32:37when I joined it it was like holy [ __ ] this thing just launched they're gonna if they haven't raised a pile of money
195. 32:47I guarantee you there are investors sitting at the door sill of this company I don't know anything about them so it's
196. 32:58possible that they're well funded and they they have something good because they have you know the money to do it
197. 33:03but it's also possible they figured some [ __ ] out because they're clever and now they're gonna go raise a ton of money
198. 33:10and they're gonna go after mid-journey the image quality on this is kind of stable diffusion 1.3 like it's not great
199. 33:20um and the typography is not great but holy [ __ ] when it gets it right like sometimes it's just awesome like you
200. 33:27know put famous person in the t-shirt and and just put the text on the T-shirt it does that really well um is it context driven um
201. 33:38well so what I'm suggesting Robert so Robert's asking for 11 Labs with that emotional stuff he's asking is it context driven it's
202. 33:46not right now I think what 11 Labs does right now is it basically just takes their normal voice and that's what it synthesizes
203. 33:53but if you can tag it with different emotions within the thing you could use chat GPT to determine the context
204. 34:01and say okay here's what the person should whisper you know basically tell chat GPT to act like an actor and
205. 34:10analyze the script and figure out which emotions should be applied to which sections of the script and it'll then it
206. 34:16will be context sensitive that's that's how I plan to use that that tool um and and quite frankly um the the reason I haven't really dug
207. 34:28dramatically into that is that okay 11 Labs like let's go let's make that happen and maybe they have and I just didn't I just
208. 34:38missed it in the API um but they'll make it happen at some point but these these synthesized voices they're going to go from monotone to you
209. 34:48know having some kind of emotional roller coaster in them um they're gonna they're gonna get there sooner than
210. 34:54later and once that happens then because they're already they're already good enough that with certain voice types and
211. 35:02certain applications certain kinds of video you can't really tell until like I noticed one the other day I thought it
212. 35:09was just a guy talking and then it said something like no no just and you know it's supposed to be node.js
213. 35:17but it tried to pronounce the JS so it said no I'm like oh that's a synthesized voice it's like so there's there's little tells
214. 35:28um so true everyone is weird some others somewhere than others of course and that's why we collect here so far I've
215. 35:35only used chat GPT what's a better option all right Heather so let me let me let me give you my my two cents on these tools
216. 35:44these tools they got they got some action to them okay ma okay chat GPT this costs 20 bucks a month if you want
217. 35:58gpt4 but you also get what was formerly known as code interpreter and it's now known as advanced data analysis
218. 36:08which is [ __ ] remarkable it's also got plugins which are not [ __ ] remarkable but some of them are useful
219. 36:17um and just gpt4 is really good and then GPT 3.5 here is super fast so if you want to just knock stuff out fast GPT 3.5 is really good
220. 36:25um also if you want to develop stuff their API is really good their playground's really good like they've
221. 36:31just they've been around for a while they're the ones that kind of blew the doors off this thing so so they they
222. 36:35kind of deserve the shakes right now Bing is Microsoft's version of this um tied to their search engine so Bing
223. 36:44is connected to the internet it's also it's also a chatbot sitting on top of the gpt4 model it's not as good as gpt4 up here but
224. 36:54you're like but Kyle they're both gbt4 why wouldn't they be as good because you have your your base large
225. 37:01language model down here and you have your application layer sitting on top of it so chat GPT is an application and
226. 37:07then Bing chat is an application they're different um tools and the fine tuning for how they use that that base model is different
227. 37:16uh Microsoft has made this very very um what do you call it um a lot of safety guard rails to the point that it's really [ __ ] annoying
228. 37:25sometimes but it is connected to the internet it can make images you can just say make me an image of whatever it can
229. 37:32read images you can upload an image and say write me 10 headlines for that image um so it's it's worth having on the top
230. 37:40three Claude the reason it's on the top three I like there's a lot of things about Claude that I like it's from a
231. 37:46company called anthropic a bunch of ex-open AI people they're using a thing called the Constitutional learning model
232. 37:53which I think has a really good shot of reducing bias and increasing alignment basically let's make sure the machines
233. 38:01don't decide that we're in their way and they're going to get rid of us and then Claude also has a hundred thousand token context window
234. 38:10on the other hand is a four thousand con token context window what the hell does that mean it means chat gbt after about
235. 38:173 000 words like like if you put in something longer than three thousand words it just chokes out it can't do it
236. 38:23if you're having a conversation with chat gbt and you go on for a while the early part of the conversation it will
237. 38:30forget after three thousand words so so it's got this kind of sliding 3000 word window where it'll it'll so if
238. 38:37you've ever noticed if you're working with it for a while it's good it's great it's awesome and then all of a sudden
