12:23 building and I was watching her work and
12:25 it like I knew all the stuff she did
12:28 like I knew all the
12:30 the P the parts right but like the way
12:32 she did mid Journey was kind of
12:37 like where I was like wait what's

12:47 matter how little you think you know no
12:49 matter how
12:52 un expert you
12:56 are don't
12:58 discount your your
13:00 contribution to how we're doing this AI

19:19 execute it with AI then do all your

20:13 but just feels like a weird distraction
20:16 from their
20:24 business the value is that I was the one
20:27 that created something new and have

20:33 protect that n sh shoken um skoken um I
20:38 mean you know use chat GPT to act as an
20:40 intellectual property lawyer and and
20:43 really educate the [ __ ] out of you on it
20:45 if you're not educated like understand
20:47 the difference between Patent
20:49 Trademark
20:52 copyright um how you register them how
20:56 you actually protect them
21:03 understand things like you know Trade
21:05 Secrets like like there's all sorts of
21:06 ways to protect your

21:18 um if you want to copyright something
21:21 that was primarily produced with AI
21:23 though I would get your [ __ ] together
21:26 with how how much
21:29 time and effort you put into
21:32 it essentially make the argument that
21:35 that that the AI was an insignificant
21:37 piece of the labor of creating it then
21:39 you might have a shot I'm pretty
21:41 familiar they're very pricey but it's
21:43 new to me yeah it's that that's the
21:45 other problem is it's it it costs a lot
21:47 of money to protect that listen if you
21:49 have something like a comic book
21:50 character and you like you know you
21:52 think you have the next Simpsons or the
21:54 next South Park then do what you can to
21:57 protect the [ __ ] out of it but within
21:59 budgets like here's what I would say

22:33 and put your [ __ ] work in the
22:36 world play first mindfully create

22:41 world put out YouTube videos of here's
22:44 how I'm making this stuff put out you
22:47 know Amazon Kindle books of whatever
22:52 process or cartoons whatever it is get
22:55 it in the world
22:59 because the more evidence you have of
23:01 producing it the better chance you'll
23:04 have of protecting it and then you
23:08 also will build an audience along the
23:10 way I made a cute Kyle doll in a regular

25:55 that you can have an idea and not EX

26:12 competitor they took our IP they funded
26:16 someone building essentially exactly

26:20 built and that company was out of
26:22 business in two
26:24 years they had all the same technology
26:29 why' they fail cuz execution is really
26:31 [ __ ] hard and then the other thing is
26:34 I kind of feel like there's this
26:35 perception that if you put something on
26:38 chat GPT there's like people waiting
26:40 there to catch it like oh good idea let
26:42 me go execute that no it's it's you can
26:47 you know first of all you can turn off
26:49 you know use my training data especially
26:51 if you have a teams account in chat GPT
26:54 um but even if you if you really want to
26:56 protect it turn off go to your setting
26:58 settings and turn off train train on my
27:01 data um you'll lose your prompt history
27:03 so just know that so so export your data
27:06 before you do that and turn off train my
27:09 data and then just [ __ ] use it now if
27:12 you want to get really
27:13 paranoid get something like um GPT for
27:18 all where you install a local large
27:22 language model like on your Mac I think
27:24 you just got a new
27:25 Mac um and you can run something like
27:29 llama their 13 billion parameter model
27:32 you can probably run that locally on
27:33 your Mac and it'll run just
27:37 fine
27:39 um but I like I wouldn't be that
27:43 paranoid if you're taking you know
27:47 proprietary spreadsheets of a big
27:49 Corporation and you're putting that out
27:51 there you know then you're a little more
27:53 liable but if it's just your idea

28:45 people that enter the market in
28:48 competition with you are actually
28:50 validating your
28:55 idea so if you're in an early phase of
28:58 an
28:59 industry or if you have a unique
29:04 idea other people having that idea is
29:06 not necessarily a bad thing cuz people
29:08 won't do it the same way you do it there
29:10 are so many little variations of
29:12 automated video storytelling platforms
29:14 out there almost no one does what Story
29:16 vine

29:32 had the idea for Story vine in
29:34 2006 and I started a company and it was
29:38 the wrong company it wasn't automated it

29:52 and I thought there were like thousands
29:55 of competitors rushing toward the market
29:58 and what I realized is that I was about
30:00 a decade
30:03 early and that sounds sexy and all like
30:06 from an inventor
30:08 standpoint but it's pretty [ __ ]
30:09 painful like a decade of my life was
30:12 spent working on this thing that it's
30:14 time hadn't really come it's like ah
30:16 it'll come next year it'll come next

32:02 Valley 47% haven't even heard of CET gbt
32:07 and we're in here like oh my God what if
32:08 we do if we can't keep up we could take
32:10 a year off and we'd be fine we'd still
32:13 be ahead by a

32:21 lot what AI tool have you mostly
32:24 integrated into your business um
32:32 I've got a A
32:34 Creative ideation tool well it's not is
32:37 nidation tool it's kind of like a first
32:40 draft writer for our prompting questions
32:42 for our our our Story vine templates
32:45 that thing saves us two or three days on
32:49 average per client for for kickoff
32:52 meetings um that was done with zapier
32:55 and open
32:57 AI um
32:59 the tools that I built into Story vine
33:02 to do content generation is based on
33:04 open
33:05 AI our translation tools based on
33:08 hen our Persona tool is based on
33:13 did 11
33:16 labs open
33:18 AI so it's a lot of open AI

33:33 about the tool that I I built
33:35 into Story vine I'll show it to you I'll

33:41 second is that what it's doing
33:43 technically is not different than a lot
33:45 of the other tools that are out there
33:46 that are generating
33:49 content but what I realized and this
33:51 again gets back to the execution Becky
33:54 is the way we're executing it the way
33:57 we're incorporating it into our core
34:00 value proposition and the features that
34:02 we're building into it that are specific
34:04 to
34:06 Pharma it's going to it there's not
34:09 going to be a lot of people that do that
34:11 particular flavor of the thing we've
34:14 built and
34:17 so so part of the advantage of just
34:23 building is
34:26 is you get to put stuff in the
34:28 marketplace and see if people are
34:29 willing to pay for it the big AI tool
34:32 that we built we got one of our clients
34:34 to fund most of
34:36 it we said what what features do you
34:39 want this thing to have and they're like
34:40 well we don't know so we gave them a
34:43 list of features we're like well we
34:45 think it should do this they're like
34:48 okay they're like well and then we
34:50 should build it they're like okay and
34:52 they gave us money to go build it and we
34:54 went and built it and we put in the
34:57 contract that they don't own it cuz we
34:59 were building it anyway they're just
35:01 accelerating the feature
35:04 set that's how we've built every piece
35:06 of technology with Story vine by the way
35:08 sell it first build it

36:44 authenticity

36:49 and so let me give you some context for
36:53 it story Vine's 12-year-old
36:56 company for 12 years what the product's
36:59 been we've never really pivoted the
37:00 product like the product has always
37:02 worked and been what we wanted to
37:04 build it's a virtual director in an app
37:07 that guides someone step by step through
37:09 telling a specific story so if it's a
37:11 patient diagnosis Journey the app asks
37:14 them you know what's your name and when
37:16 were you diagnosed how did it feel when
37:19 you heard the news you know what's how
37:21 have you been treating it what are your
37:22 hopes and dreams for the future whatever
37:24 that story arc is our app guides them
37:27 through answering a series of prompts
37:30 that then goes up to the cloud gets
37:31 stitched together into a fully edited
37:33 video in about 5
37:35 minutes and then you've got this video
37:37 and you can do anything you want with it
37:39 you can share it on social you can put
37:40 it on a website you built you can put it
37:42 on YouTube doesn't matter and
37:45 so the other piece of this is we can get
37:47 that through the Regulatory and
37:49 compliance approval process so we can
37:51 actually deliver for Pharma companies
37:55 truly authentic user generated content
37:58 that we can get through regulatory
38:00 that's that in of itself is a is a is a
38:07 miracle but the value of that
38:11 video is rarely really
38:14 exploited because we're capturing it in
38:16 this modular way you could use the
38:18 little piece parts of it you could remix
38:20 them you could take the transcripts of
38:22 these videos and turn them into other
38:25 content but very few people actually do
38:27 that
38:28 and so what we said is could we use
38:31 AI to presume that that authentic story
38:35 that you took the time to capture and
38:37 someone took time out of their life to
38:38 share on behalf of your
38:41 company could we leverage the [ __ ] out
38:44 of that and that's what the authenticity
38:46 engine is so you upload a video to this
38:50 thing
38:58 and it

42:01 communicated to me like it stops in

44:31 healthcare and Pharma cuz we're like we
44:33 would have to sell a [ __ ] ton of $500
44:36 subscriptions to equal that one Pharma
44:39 thing and we had decent connections you
44:41 know Monique and I had both worked on um
44:46 a lot of Fortune 500 work and we have
