39. 7:54over so uh Google got busted for making a a faker little their little uh their little release video that got
40. 8:05everyone so hot and bothered was falsified now falsified is a strong word like every everyone's making this out
41. 8:13like oh my God it's the biggest Scandal ever no now it's what we talked about the Marketing Group is going to try to
42. 8:20make it look as good as possible when you don't have something to launch you launch a thing that makes the
43. 8:28thing that's coming look good get people excited about it where they [ __ ] up was transparency they didn't they didn't say it all they
44. 8:37had to say was you know sequences sped up you know to make it suck less okay sure like okay it still does this stuff
45. 8:51you know doesn't talk that's a person talking right you know there's [ __ ] they could have done that that had they done
46. 8:57it no one would have given a [ __ ] but because they they tried to make it just you know a little a level too
47. 9:06slick the other problem with Gemini is that you're competing with you know you're competing with gp4 which is truly remarkable no
48. 9:18one's caught them um you know as much of a [ __ ] show as firing Sam Alman was the rumor going around is they fired him cuz chat GPT got too
49. 9:31good so so so you're competing with that and uh so they felt like they had to get something out and they just they
50. 9:40fumbled the ball again like Google's been they they've been fumbling for the past year so we'll see we'll see you
51. 9:47know it all all this will be forgotten when when uh when it comes out if it's any good right share the link to the AI Salon

58. 10:54minute and then you do remarkable cuz you know that's how you that's how you've run your whole life so yep they fudged that so this is
59. 11:05the AI Salon that's the address go there so at that URL it's a simple link tree there's there's three links there and
60. 11:12some social media [ __ ] the first link is the community so where where people are sharing their uh those images on Show and Tell
61. 11:22um that's the first link and then the second link is for meetups we meet every other week and I I think we're going to
62. 11:29add local chapters which is really cool in-person local chapter meetings um on the off weeks so that's a you heard it

64. 11:45so there's a we just had our first year anniversary so I launched this Salon with Leah faston a photographer out of
65. 11:51Boston we launched this um a week after chat PT came out so we just celebrated our oneyear anniversary so there's a
66. 11:58one-year anniversary design that is um that's in there that's only going to be there through the weekend actually let

91. 16:49unpredictable and we're looking into fixing it so to which I replied very interesting yeah like that's interesting
92. 16:58right so that's that's what's called Model drift where even if they haven't touched it since November 11th I think I
93. 17:05said three nights ago someone said on Twitter oh the coding's gotten really good again and it was bad for a while
94. 17:10and it got good well they haven't updated it in 3 weeks four weeks um so so I don't know I don't know these
95. 17:23things are weird these things are weird they're weird I did a thing today with uh Japanese generating some
96. 17:30Japanese content and just all of a sudden it generated [ __ ] in English out of a Japanese video it was very weird it was that
97. 17:45weird that weird Bry Hann I can't wait to get my shirt I know it's exciting we got merch I got to do some merch for the AI

122. 21:22support your AI habit this is why we need Universal basic income it's it's not cuz we're losing our jobs it's cuz
123. 21:29we we got to pay for AI subscriptions to do all the cool [ __ ] all right these lives are always the

135. 23:14everyone deserves to play with that thing long enough that they have their first Kevin mallister moment which is this moment

148. 25:16[ __ ] around with this stuff for a while you probably do so chat GPT is actually just an application that
149. 25:25sits on top of this large language model this base what they call the Frontier Model which is the sort of Base
150. 25:33knowledge of chat GPT is called gp4 and chat GPT is an application that sits on top of it so chat. open.com is
151. 25:42this thing up here so it's the thing that makes it super simple the the right side of this column is where developers
152. 25:51go to develop things like chat GPT so this is how you get access to the open AI apis and the different models that they
153. 26:00have they have all sorts of different models and some models are better for programming and some are good for I don't
154. 26:07know charact categorizing things or what's it called summarizing things I there's all sorts of different [ __ ] and
155. 26:14there's all sorts of different modes you can play with and there's apis and you can do text to speech and GPT vision and
156. 26:20Dolly 3 and all that sort of [ __ ] so so that's the developer playground platform. open.com playground if you're
157. 26:28a little bit geeky like I'm I'm not an engineer I'm not a coder but I like I like geeking out a little bit so I like
158. 26:34understanding how [ __ ] works so if you're that kind of person and you like flipping switches and trying different
159. 26:40models and see what works then go play back there if if you're like I Kyle I can barely handle the the the like the
160. 26:47Google box that's chat GPT then just ignore this [ __ ] just ignore this if you're overwhelmed and you haven't even started

164. 27:42had four or five years of unfettered development before they launched chat GPT where everyone just ignored them

166. 27:59closed that was that from chat GPT you can make money with chat GPT um the the open AI chat GPT store doesn't sound like it'll be out until
167. 28:09the new year so we we don't need to worry about that right now so so just go like do like lunatick did like I I'll
168. 28:16show you a GPT I made today that just it blew my mind and it's just I don't know these things are so cool anyway uh that's why
169. 28:25we start with that cuz it's the big one but now I'm going to show you eight more eight more that I think it is in your interest

171. 28:42should go get subscriptions for these I am suggesting if they open up uh new subscriptions to gp4 chat gp4 again um
172. 28:54you should Absolut you should get on the wait list and if you can afford it if you can afford it you should
173. 29:00absolutely get your hands on chat gp4 I'll show you some of the stuff tonight um that's the only one I actually fullon
174. 29:08recommend like I think it's I think it's at this point foolish if if you want to if you want to play in this AI space at all and
175. 29:17we're all going to have to play in this AI space whether we like it or not but if you want to if you want to if you
176. 29:22choose to step into this um not spending the 20 bucks a month at chat GPT seems fully to me so get on the wait list and
177. 29:29it it sounds like someone said they got their their invite to get in and if you get your invite [ __ ] take it all

179. 29:53co-pilot now co-pilot this is if if you can't get chat gp4 this is Microsoft's version of chat GPT 4 for free so check that out it's
180. 30:06also got Dolly 3 image generation in it it's free um it's got really bad safety guard rails so it's a bit frustrating
181. 30:14sometimes but it's it's listen it's free chat gb4 Bard this is now powered by Gemini Pro which is the middle Gemini
182. 30:23model that was just announced um they took away the one thing I used B for they took away with this new model so
183. 30:29I'm pissed at them you can't the like last week earlier this week b.google.r this for me and it did it [ __ ]
184. 30:42brilliantly and then they updated the back end to Gemini and now it won't do that anymore so I'm pissed at them
185. 30:48they're on my [ __ ] list and they faked their video so everyone's pissed at them now ha take that Pate you in here Pate
186. 30:55your company got got another black eye um Claude this is a company called anthropic and these guys are this is
187. 31:05this is a really good uh chat GPT alternative so if chat GPT is giving you a pain in the ass try claw and then
188. 31:15grock this is now built into Twitter if you pay for Twitter Premium Plus or whatever the hell it's called if you pay
189. 31:21$16 a month for them you get to play with this shitty large language model that jokes sort of okay here's four more Pi perplexity and
190. 31:35Po and again I'm not affiliated with any of these sites in any way the reason these are on the list is I've used these
191. 31:42enough to know that each of these kind of has something interesting to offer that depending on the project
192. 31:49you're working on chat GPT is not always going to cut it so Pi it's really good for um here's what I'm going to do here wait hang
193. 32:01on since someone can I I hope someone didn't lie to me when they said the Android version of this is out that you can talk to um mobile
194. 32:14[Music] apps oh here's what I can do I can just squish that out there like that all right um Pi is really good at
195. 32:31conversational uh gping so you have a conversation with it it's really good at that perplexity is really good at research and citations
196. 32:41po lets you play with multiple models and then the Llama models this is a whole world of Open Source meta put out
197. 32:48this thing called llama 2 they made it freely available to anyone uh to use commercially and because of that that
198. 32:57the developer Community has gone Bonkers and so there if you want to get into open source and if you're like I don't
199. 33:03like these safety guard rails Kyle I want my large language model to cuss and give me recipes for bad things and to do
200. 33:10thing well you can go do that with this so but it it requires you to go geek out in the world of Open Source but what you
201. 33:19will be rewarded with there is like eight, different projects all doing some interesting [ __ ] okay so that's large
202. 33:28language models start with chat GPT there's your big four understand which one's strengths and weaknesses of
203. 33:35them and there's these These are more like specialty llms okay images Dolly 3 right now for me is pretty much the only
204. 33:45thing I use all the images that I share in here for the most part are done in Dolly 3 there are some people that are
205. 33:52still using mid journey I love mid Journey the quality of mid Journey journey is like nothing else if you want
206. 33:59high quality like kickass art like art mid Journey's it if you want stuff done quickly that can have text on it and be in the
207. 34:11context of a chat conversation then dolly3 is where it's at because you do this inside chat GPT um and also inside co-pilot from
208. 34:20Microsoft what I found thanks Siri uh then you got Leonardo this is a web front end for a whole system a whole
209. 34:29category of stuff called uh stable diffusion um which again if you want to geek out um start with Leonardo and then
210. 34:36go deeper into the open source world and then Firefly from Adobe is getting better and better and Firefly is really
211. 34:43good because it's been trained on it's not been trained on any copywritten works so if you're in a corporation this
212. 34:51stuff is will will be safer uh in that kind of environment all right video stuff this is getting big a lot of
213. 35:00people a lot of the Irregulars in here um have been taking their images that they're making in do or in mid journey
214. 35:08and coming over to these video creation tools and making cool images with them with Runway and with P labs and I don't
215. 35:16know other [ __ ] uh then you got hey Jen these are Avatar makers hey Jen and did Visa is like a corporate video Stitcher
216. 35:25together thing that's pretty good all right so screenshot that Runway TV these guys with their video tool made like a I Want My
217. 35:35MTV you know shitty low-level Netflix which all of Hollywood's going to make fun of no Hollywood won't even make fun
218. 35:43of it Hollywood will completely ignore it cuz it's it's not even on their radar when they do finally see it they'll
219. 35:49laugh at it and go that's not real video and then 3 years from now them or someone like them is going to put a studio out of business
220. 35:57business um so if you're making videos I would go submit your videos to runway. TV become one of the new directors one
221. 36:05of the new um film content makers on runway. TV why because there's no competition right now nobody knows about

226. 37:04generation site like ideogram and type in a prompt and really think about prompting versus being inside chat GPT 4 and just
227. 37:18saying you know hey based on all the [ __ ] I was just talking about can you visualize that for me come up with a
228. 37:24concept for an ad and it just it writes The Prompt and it generates the concept for the that that to me is the biggest
229. 37:32deal explain about submitting video on Runway TV okay um I don't know that it used to be more clearly

232. 38:12me let me show you this so when you get to Runway TV um it just will play something you can click on this thing says TV

234. 38:27the streaming services were like this where they have these kind of channels this is just like a YouTube rapper kind
235. 38:32of site this is like probably like a pre-built YouTube site um and then all these things are you know some version of um you know Runway
236. 38:52generated music videos stories things like that okay in the rupper upper upper right hand corner um there's submit bumper which I
237. 39:02assume is like your trailer is that what that means contribute to the runway TV Universe by submitting your very own oh oh a logo bumper oh

239. 39:30actually that's really brilliant so what they're what they're doing is they're saying hey um we we want you our users to go make
240. 39:39our commercials for us our bumpers for us so these are the equivalent of I Want My MTV ads in the 80s um let me let's go see the other one

260. 42:47you walking down the street or playing tennis or dancing um you go to wonder Dynamics you upload that video you pick one of their
261. 42:55robots and then a couple hours later you'll have a video of where your body was there's now a robot it's pretty slick

302. 49:56here to there which um compared the early days of AI you know starting last November with the early days of the
303. 50:05worldwide web it was a really cool talk it was very well received I was really proud of it so I thought hey why don't I
304. 50:10use that as a basis for an article so the first thing I did was I jumped over to the YouTube and here's here's the
305. 50:17little video there's there's me prancing around stage I walked into a classroom and on every desk so so that was that and so I went to the
306. 50:31um comments and I grabbed somewhere in there's this transcript show transcript so I went over to the transcript and I
307. 50:39copied it so it's a I don't know 30 minute talk there's the transcript for my 30- minute talk so I went back to
308. 50:46chat GPT and I typed in I want you to transform this transcript of a talk I gave uh for a chapter of a book called
309. 50:54the future of AI which will will Feature A lot of people with experience with technology and being on the Leading
310. 50:59Edge uh back to the early days of the PC and the worldwide web and then I pasted in all of the transcript so like yep literally
311. 51:08just plopped it in there and doesn't it it still Marvels me that it reads all this [ __ ] in like seconds like how is that possible I know
312. 51:25how it works I still don't know how it's [ __ ] possible okay so then this was the prompt that was it please create a
313. 51:36detailed outline for what the chapter SL article is and follow up with anything you might be missing or would be powerful to
314. 51:48add and so it said converting your talk into a book titled requires careful structuring and emphasis so then it
315. 51:55writes my outline introduction early exposure to technology shift to New York and the early internet the emergence of
316. 52:02the worldwide web right so it got my talk great and then it said here's some things you might want to add personal narratives visual
317. 52:10elements uh expert opinions case studies ethical considerations Nomad thank you so much I appreciate that I gave my P
318. 52:18presentation to 11 gr 11th graders yesterday went pretty well just played with things and Q&A oh that's super cool
319. 52:26Pate were they digging it I'm like I'm I'm I'm a little blown away that my my definition of younger people's kind of
320. 52:34my kids right now so I'm not talking to 11th grade aged people all that much but like the the the the level of apathy
321. 52:42amongst the 20-some that I know about this [ __ ] just blows my mind so hopefully the younger kids are into
322. 52:48it um all right so so it gives me some some suggestions so here's what I said I said can you redo the outline line and
323. 52:55incorporate your suggestions or placeholders for personal stories as appropriate and then what I added was
324. 53:02keep keep the additions in bold so I can see them easily is there an AI site for creating a web app or M mobile app
325. 53:09prototype there's a lot of them Nomad I would go to futur
326. 53:24pedia.com but yes there are there are lots of them um so I said keep the additions and bold and so now it
327. 53:30rewrites the outline but notice that it bolded the places where it wants me to here put in a personal anecdote about
328. 53:37some personal moment from 1977 reflection on how this shaped your career path um share the challenges and
329. 53:45Triumph of launching an online magazine right so it it it understands like the context of the story it so it's not only
330. 53:53making suggestions generically but now it's made them in the context of the story and so now what I did was this what I know and oh by the
331. 54:02way I'm doing all this like before my shower just standing at my computer right here I'm like oh [ __ ] I got to get something done so this
332. 54:14is like in the 25 minutes I have like before I have to take a shower before I have to leave to work because I got all these backtack
333. 54:22meetings so so it generates the outline and then and then what I kind of know about chat GP and and Claud all of them
334. 54:29right now if you ask them to write a really long document it it it will write all of the elements of the outline
335. 54:38but it'll do do just like a two two sentence paragraph for each one it for whatever reason it really truncates [ __ ]
336. 54:45so what I did was I said well why don't I just break it up and have it write you know each section of the of the outline um in little blurbs
337. 54:57so then I said oh there was one other thing I did I remembered a story this guy Klay shery who's a I think he's a professor at
338. 55:06Columbia right now but he's he's a pretty famous dude in in the Internet space he used to work at agency.com um
339. 55:13when he worked for me at agency.com he once lovingly referred to me as the Forest Gump of the internet you know in reference to my
340. 55:21unlikely Jour Journey seeming seemingly stumbling my way into the future so I wrote this little anecdote and I said um
341. 55:28take that anecdote and rewrite the the outline so it includes that setup because I thought it was kind of a good
342. 55:34setup for a written piece so then it did that and and so now I said use this transcript to capture my tone so use the
343. 55:41transcript to capture my tone right I've got I've got a transcript of me talking there's my tone and then write me a
344. 55:47draft of the introduction so the first part of the outline put any reference uh to a personal story you want included
345. 55:55but don't have the details for in Brackets in bold right so I want it to I want it to point out to me where I need
346. 56:02to add [ __ ] and so then it writes the introduction and look there's the Bold sentence of something I need to add
347. 56:09which is really good and it writes like a really nice introduction it says there's your introduction and then I
348. 56:15said okay good start now go to section two it says okay here's section two and then I said next like so now I'm literally saying next
349. 56:25and it writes the next one and I go next and next and next and within about 25 minutes um I had I generated this thing and then I went
350. 56:39over let me go to docs um I went I created a Google doc I named
351. 56:55it the great Renaissance approaches why 2023 was the new 1995 um and then I just I I just pasted it in here and then I did a word count
352. 57:05on it it was 3900 words so with all the little additions that I have to add it'll be a 5,000-word article my kid school has incorporated
353. 57:14Baxter AI oh interesting that's interesting I don't know Baxter um and and it's good now did I proofread it did I look at it like
354. 57:25no is is this thing going to be ready to go out of the gate no like in fact the opening sentence in the vast and ever
355. 57:32evolving landscape of Technology few Realms have captivated the imagination and spurred Innovation quite like
356. 57:38artificial intelligence that sentence makes me want to vomit like that's horrible like that sentence goes right
357. 57:45like no no that's wrong that's bad it but that's okay I can take that I can go back to chat gbt and go rewrite that so it doesn't suck right
358. 57:55um so I at least have a framework now for this piece and then when I when I got to this meeting I coped to it I said
359. 58:04Hey listen I was way behind and and here's what I did and I and I told I basically showed them what I just showed
360. 58:09you so so that was my first sort of victory of today in in 25 minutes I went from not being prepared prepared for
361. 58:17class to having my paper done which you know listen I've done it in college in college so so I'm still doing it whatever
362. 58:26um then then I did another fun thing so let's see let me go back to here let me go up in here let me actually let me just pause for a second

389. 1:03:27thing um all right my college student asked if they could copyright AI writing and you can't they were disappointed so Sonia th this
390. 1:03:39is an interesting this is an interesting thing um I know that the I'll leave that up there for now I know that the
391. 1:03:52um the latest guidance from the copyright office is none of this can be copywritten but it's a fairly narrow
392. 1:03:59case that they did that what the copyright office has actually said is that there's got to be human contribution
393. 1:04:10so so my question is at what point is something AI written so if I use a spell checker that's AI so can I copyright something where I
394. 1:04:22used a spell checker everyone goes well of course and then if I use um a grammar checker that's not just fixing words
395. 1:04:32that's actually changing the order of words cuz I some people have a away with words other people not have
396. 1:04:41way uh good old Steve Martin joke so is that AI written because it changed the order of words around well no that's
397. 1:04:48ridiculous cuz it's mostly the okay okay good so then then within Microsoft Word and within Google Docs when you write
398. 1:04:59the first three words of a sentence it guesses the end of that sentence it's got autocomplete in it that's that's
399. 1:05:05AI so did anyone that used autocomplete is that not copyrightable no that's copyrightable okay at what point right
400. 1:05:13and I you see where I'm going here if you just say write some [ __ ] and you push the button and it spews out
401. 1:05:20some [ __ ] and you try to copyright that then I would argue that yeah probably that's not it almost no one that I know uses AI
402. 1:05:29like that the example that I just gave where I started with a transcript and I had it write a uh an outline and then I
403. 1:05:37had it write the pieces of the outline and now I'm going to go back into the pieces that it wrote I'm going to
404. 1:05:41rewrite them and I'm going to add pieces to it and things like that how much of that do I need to contribute to till
405. 1:05:48it's my story well it's my [ __ ] story it's a talk that I gave but but it's 90% of it was written by AI but it was derived from a thing I
406. 1:05:59wrote like so is that not copyrightable I would argue that that is the burden of proof certainly short term is going to
407. 1:06:07be that um there was human contribution to it so what I would say to your students is they should document all of
408. 1:06:14their contributions and if they want to copyright something I think they should [ __ ] go for it um now there's a whole another question
409. 1:06:24which is in a world of infinite content and Hyper personalization does copyright really [ __ ] matter anymore or we
410. 1:06:32entering a post copyright world I would argue that we probably are so so they're two separate issues right and the other
411. 1:06:40thing I would argue is this like with with copyright the digital camera you push a button and light goes onto a thing a sensor and it makes
412. 1:06:57pixels how's that any different than I type in a prompt and this thing generates an image maybe because I aimed it except I
413. 1:07:06wrote The Prompt I want a blue rubber ducky on a river in the Grand Canyon the AI didn't come up with that
414. 1:07:14that's my thing that's my contribution just like me as a photographer I choose where to point the lens so so copy the
415. 1:07:22copyright office just hasn't caught up with this sh [ __ ] yet so I wouldn't necessarily say it's not copyrightable I
416. 1:07:28would say it's not clear so true especially any ADHD people that tweak work until um something makes them stop
417. 1:07:41exactly exactly I God I did it this afternoon Silver Fox I was working on this one slide I I finally figured out
418. 1:07:49how to talk about all this AI [ __ ] for my for my my company um and I came up with a positioning and I and I built
419. 1:07:57this slide with all these subtle animations on it to to demo some [ __ ] and I I [ __ ] tweaked that thing I
420. 1:08:05must have tweaked it 50 times just like things no one would notice but you know that's the burden the copyright office
421. 1:08:14states there is no copyright protection for works created by nonhumans okay digital camera that is a work created by a
422. 1:08:25non-human well a human push the button okay well a human wrote The Prompt tell me how that's different I I know that's what they said
423. 1:08:36I know that's the current position I just I just don't I just it it it just doesn't it doesn't hold up like logically it doesn't hold up
424. 1:08:52so I don't know we'll see I listen I'm not a copyright attorney so so I don't care I I just I I think that it is um I
425. 1:09:01think that is a short-term um situation with copyright but I also feel I I decreasingly see the value and copyright
426. 1:09:10in a world where we're all just going to speak our content into existence that's the content we want right then if content becomes
427. 1:09:22disposable do you need to copyright anything well some things maybe yeah you want to protect the rights of the creators but if
428. 1:09:33there's 200 million creators and 300 million consumers of the [ __ ] they create does it really make sense to protect anything in a in an
429. 1:09:46oversaturated content generation environment I don't know just so everyone knows I read an article today that 73% of all statistics are made

444. 1:12:36called content Evolution and content evolution is a Federation of like I don't know 40 or 50 Communications companies marketing
445. 1:12:46companies and PR firms and research companies and qualitative you know analysts and researchers and just all that sort of
446. 1:12:57[ __ ] and it's it's put together by this gentleman named Kevin Clark who's a senior adviser for my company storyvine
447. 1:13:03he used to run IBM's Global brand and he started content Evolution as a way when he left IBM he wanted to stay in touch with all of the good
448. 1:13:14people that he worked with and built relationships over the years so content evolution is this organization of really remark able
449. 1:13:23people who've had storied careers in you know Fortune 500 and they've written books and they just really cool people
450. 1:13:33so I don't know 6 months or so ago we started building [ __ ] with chat GPT Kevin um said hey how would you like to
451. 1:13:42be Chief generative officer I was like far out sounds [Laughter] cool s I'm I'm pretty confident I'm the
452. 1:13:51first Chief generative officer anywhere uh if you're asking well what does that mean I don't know we generate [ __ ] right
453. 1:13:58we're using generative AI but we're generating stuff and we're generating business we're generating marketing we're generating
454. 1:14:05content so so we've been talking for for months about is there a way that you know what's the best way we can use AI
455. 1:14:14to represent all of the the companies right and so where I IM immediately went was we could we could um we could take the websites of the
456. 1:14:26companies and we could somehow train Ai and then you could go there and say I have this problem and you know what
457. 1:14:32company can help me and then we were talking we were like well like the it's not everyone has a company in content
458. 1:14:40Evolution and it really is about the people it's not about the company and and you know sometimes sometimes they
459. 1:14:47they do other [ __ ] other than their company and so well maybe we do something with the people and then we're
460. 1:14:53initially went was why don't we take all of the work that they've created over the years the books that they've written
461. 1:15:02and the blog posts that they've written and interviews that they've done and we'll train everything up on that and
462. 1:15:07then we'll I don't know be able to do something and we were playing around with Lang chain we had a guy helping us do
463. 1:15:14that and then gpts came out and all of a sudden the thing that was actually a pretty significant technical lift for us
464. 1:15:22just became trivial because with with creating a GPT you can upload a knowledge base and so I was talking about that with Kevin and we were
465. 1:15:30talking about you know it's Tak it's taken us a while to build this thing and how do we actually build something and so as we were talking
466. 1:15:38something hit me and what hit me was this if you just take the work that someone has done a book that I wrote 10 years ago or a blog
467. 1:15:48post that I wrote you know 10 months ago or or uh an interview interview that I did 3 years ago that stuff is stuff that I've
468. 1:15:58produced but it doesn't necessarily represent who I am today right cuz because a lot of these people have been
469. 1:16:04around for a while so they might have very different perspectives today that might not be reflected in their book so
470. 1:16:10then we came up with this idea why don't we put together a a set of questions an interview set of questions and so Cindy
471. 1:16:17[ __ ] did the first pass and she used chat GPT and then in one of our content Evolution collab meeting
472. 1:16:24um we took her initial set of questions and then we generated more questions so there there there are questions about
473. 1:16:31someone's professional background um their core identity and motivations like what's their why what are their passions
474. 1:16:37and skills what are their challenges and opportunities how do they problem solve and think creatively um how do they
475. 1:16:44collaborate so so just all these questions and so the idea is that we're going to interview each person in
476. 1:16:51content Evolution we're going to start start with the people in collab and then we're going to turn it into a GPT and
477. 1:16:59so so we had the meeting today and and once again I was like oh [ __ ] like I don't like I don't know what to do in
478. 1:17:06the meeting I hadn't planned for it so what I thought was rather than interviewing one of us which might take
479. 1:17:12a while and we'll get into all sorts of weird conversations and run down rabbit holes I said why don't I have chat

488. 1:18:41of Morgan PR Solutions which is actually really good sounds about right and then you know professional neighborhood so
489. 1:18:48this is the answer to that question I operate in the dynamic and ever evolving field of public relations my industry is
490. 1:18:53based so so Elizabeth Morgan answered that set of questions and then I said okay great I want you to um answer them
491. 1:19:01more completely those were a little incomplete so it gave me more complete answers and then I said okay great answer the next

500. 1:20:15answer we said Okay so this took I don't know maybe 30 minutes of an hourong meeting and then we went over to GPT
501. 1:20:30and I exported her answers as a PDF and within about 20 minutes we had created the content Evolution profile of Elizabeth
502. 1:20:44Morgan ask Elizabeth your professional questions and so um let's see I'd like to know what kind of things you
503. 1:20:56do what's that say I got to shorten these oops oh I'd like to know what kind of things you do professionally so tell us

509. 1:21:58things we did here was we kept this GPT connected to the internet so so one of the things is find find a current news
510. 1:22:08event and tell me what you would do and so if I click on that Elizabeth now goes and searches the internet for a news story so you can you
511. 1:22:19can now ask Elizabeth step by step creating a GPT um yeah I'll show you how how we did it um so she's now going and searching the
512. 1:22:30internet and she finds a story on abortion so you know if she's in PR there's some [ __ ] to deal with there
513. 1:22:43right and then she'll get the story she'll tell us about the story and she'll tell us lawsuit filed by Kentucky understand
514. 1:22:52understanding the context and then she responds as a 40-year veteran of PR so so just wild like so this was in 20
515. 1:22:59minutes right we went from a set of questions to a Persona that answered those questions to we now have someone
516. 1:23:08you can interact with so we can actually really test the [ __ ] out of how we're going to set these up for real people

796. 2:17:18and it's a it's an automated video storytelling platform and we have well I can go show hang on I'm going to come back to
797. 2:17:33that we have an app that guides someone step by step through telling their story so there's like a little dotted outline where
798. 2:17:41people put their head in a frame and then there's coaching that tells them what to do so introduce yourself talk
799. 2:17:47about when you were diagnosed and how that felt so it's an 11 and 1 halfy old company we do a lot of work in
800. 2:17:52healthcare and Pharma we we create the framework for the story and then the app serves as a virtual director and so I've
801. 2:18:02been spending the past year and a half or so really thinking about what is AI going to do to my business and a big part of what what
802. 2:18:13storyvine what story Vine's value proposition is is this thing called automagic editing so the way it works is
803. 2:18:19somebody answers questions in the app those clips go up to the cloud and 5 minutes later you've got a fully edited
804. 2:18:25video which up until last year or this year was really impressive it's still pretty cool but with generative AI everything's
805. 2:18:35going to be automated like the value of that feature goes from hey that's really novel and interesting to essentially
806. 2:18:44zero everything's going to be automated no one's going to give a [ __ ] right the other part of what we do
807. 2:18:51though is real human beings are telling their stories in these powerful ways and so I feel like the the value of that goes
808. 2:19:00up and then there's all these AI tools so I've I've been spending a long long time looking at how do I take advantage of all this AI
809. 2:19:09stuff compensate for the part of the value that's going down amplify the part of the value that's going up things like that so
810. 2:19:19um what we call that that editing we call it automagic editing um and we stole Auto Magic from the 80s and
811. 2:19:32now I came up with this today I'm very pleased with myself um there's Auto Magic editing and there's AI to
812. 2:19:45Magic generation so Auto Magic and AI to Magic so so what I'm about to show you this is actually kind of the equivalent
813. 2:19:54of of the um the Gemini the Gemini video yesterday so this this is just a a keynote a PowerPoint slide where I took
814. 2:20:04screen recordings of this system working so so this system is in its very early stages um but the basic idea is this now with
815. 2:20:16generative AI I can take that authentic video that was created I can automatically generate a transcript from
816. 2:20:23that and then once I have the transcript from that I can do lots of other things with it so the way the system works is I
817. 2:20:29upload a video it could either be created in Story vine or not and then this says creating transcript and so
818. 2:20:35that video is playing so then it creates the transcript automatically or AI to magically and then it creates a title of
819. 2:20:42the video a description of the video and now it's chaptering the video so it's it's is figuring out the chapters of the
820. 2:20:50video also and there's your thumbnails of it so all of that stuff is dynamically created and there's a whole
821. 2:20:57another pain where you can generate all sorts of other kinds of content so this is this is what I've been this was the
822. 2:21:05other thing I did today was was sort of get this thing in my hands put this slide together and I have a whole like
823. 2:21:13there's a whole new presentation for what the future of storyvine is so I'm super excited about that so I just wanted to share that
824. 2:21:21because you know sometimes people like but KY what do you do are you doing anything with AI are you building
825. 2:21:27anything with AI what are you doing you just sit in here and talk and make your stupid songs yeah I do that too good stuff happening

835. 2:23:11the original assets so I'm going to be able to take the individual assets and use heyen to translate them into lots of
836. 2:23:19different languages then translate all of the text that goes on the lower third Graphics into that same language and
837. 2:23:26then reassemble them in Story vine so I'm going to be able to go from the English version of a video to 10
838. 2:23:32different languages of that video then I can take those translated videos and upload them to to that image generation
839. 2:23:41tool and it'll generate all that content the transcription the chapter isation the titles all the social media content in all
840. 2:23:49those different languages it's going to be [ __ ] Bonkers like we're going from basically being a single Product Company
841. 2:23:57you you pay us money we build you this template you go have your people tell their stories and you get a video and
842. 2:24:03now it's like you pay us that money and you get that video and then you get this entire [ __ ] Universe of content around every
843. 2:24:13single story it's like it's it's just a totally different thing so I'm really excited about it so thank
