8. 2:37Remember that's so long ago. So, and then what happened was everybody had these jobs, right? Which now we don't thanks to AI. Um, but what
9. 2:52what would happen is this is we would work five days a week week if you can believe that. It would be like five full days of like
10. 3:00well they would pay us for eight hours, right? And we would work some some percentage of that and then the rest
11. 3:07would be spent, you know, on Twitter. And but what would happen is we hated those jobs. We needed them because that's the way
12. 3:18the world worked, right? And we needed those jobs. And so what we would do is by the time we got to Friday, we hated it.
13. 3:29We hate we hated it so much they came up with a restaurant chain called TGIF. Thank God it's Friday, meaning my life
14. 3:38can begin now. It's the weekend. So cute. Anyway, Wednesday, hump day because it's like this [ __ ] mountain
15. 3:48that you're climbing and Wednesday's the middle of it and it's hump day because then you're going to go downhill to the weekend, right?
16. 3:57So, out of those five days, you kind of work Tuesday and a little bit of Wednesday and then you realize, oh, it's
17. 4:03w it's hump day. I'll just take the the afternoon off. It was fantastic until we all got fired. Yeah.
18. 4:14Anyway, that was the origin of hump day. I thought it'd be cute to share in the in the before time when we when there
19. 4:21were jobs. Yeah. Yeah. Now we just we just play guitar and drink Frappuccinos. It's it's uh we're in the cognitive
20. 4:31super abundance era, I guess, where just the uh the GDP's off the charts. No one's doing anything. Productivity's
21. 4:38through the roof, but we're not producing. You know what? I like candy cigarettes. Fantastic, Bob. Yeah, I love those candy
22. 4:49cigarettes because the real cigarettes are stinky and I they give me bad breath, but the candy ones I love. And
23. 4:54it's just I kind of what I pretend is like it's my job to go find stores that have them. And so I'll just I'll go on
24. 5:02walks. Sometimes I'll ride a bike or I'll take I'll take an electric, you know, vehicle that I don't drive because
25. 5:09we don't drive anymore, but uh the the electric vehicle that that you know that the neighborhood owns together will come
26. 5:16and pick me up and then we'll just tood around the stores uh where I buy the candy cigarettes from from robots.
27. 5:25And sure, I mean, I could have the robots just deliver the candy cigarettes, but that's no like I see I
28. 5:30think of it like my job now. That's my job because jobs are, you know. All right.
29. 5:45It's like a little comedy routine here, except it's not funny. It It's kind of disturbing. Oh, man. All right. Go share go share

88. 19:38the way his mouth moves it'll go with the cops saying you know hey there Jethro come out of the trailer you know
89. 19:46they're like you know they're like put your shirt back on Jethro because nobody wants to see that because you know he's
90. 19:52big and anyway and but it'll sometimes look like the AI learning lab is is like you know yelling at Jethro and that's
91. 19:59kind of funny. I'll do that. I'll do that. That's that's why I like the AI learning lab is is I I don't really know why I like it. I
92. 20:09just I think I'm in a habit, you know. You know, sometimes you just you go through a phase of like boxed macaroni and cheese.

115. 24:14LM, it's um it's a thing from Google where you can upload up to 50 different documents as as source material and then
116. 24:24you can interact with that source material like it's chat GPT. It's pretty slick. Um Notebook LM, this was a post
117. 24:33from Stephen Johnson, is getting into the content business. They're getting into the media business where they're
118. 24:38going to curate out the best um the best notebooks because what they've realized is they've got these
119. 24:47deep subject matter experts that go off and they get all sorts of interesting data and then they put that into a
120. 24:53notebook and they do all sorts of interesting posts and things within it. And so they're going to make those
121. 24:58notebooks available to people. And I I assume that also means if you've done a really interesting notebook, you could
122. 25:05probably get that featured by them. And it's possible over time that maybe those things are monetizable. I doubt it on Google just
123. 25:18because of the nature of their um nature of how they do what they do. But like in this post from Stephen Johnson,
124. 25:27so if you go look up, it's Stephen B. Johnson is the is the username. Stephven B Johnson. I knew him from the early
125. 25:34days of uh when we were doing Urban Desires. He was doing Nerve Mag Nerve Magazine. We were we were fellow
126. 25:40publishers back in the early days of the internet. Um, but if you go to this this post from him, in fact, let me grab the post and

133. 26:56going to get into the media business? Because if some of the people using Jelly Pod put together really
134. 27:01interesting podcasts and those podcasts become popular, that could be something that could be valuable to Jelly Pod. And
135. 27:09he said he he wasn't sure. When I asked him the same question about three or four months ago, he said, "Oh, we're
136. 27:15definitely just doing tech. We're not going to be doing media." And then when I asked him, you know, a month or so ago
137. 27:21when he spoke at the salon, he was a little more like, "Ah, we're trying to figure that out. We're trying to figure
138. 27:27out what we want to be when we grow up. So, I think it's kind of fascinating that a similar kind of service, you
139. 27:33know, not that does a similar thing, but a similar kind of enabling technology is going toward the media direction. Um,
140. 27:41and they're, you know, they're going to start publishing and curating content. Uh, which I think is smart because every
141. 27:47time you use someone else's notebook that's well put together, that gives you ideas on what you can do with your
142. 27:53notebook. or maybe you take their notebook and you modify it, things like that. So, that's kind of cool, huh?

163. 32:33I had this image. So that was that's an old I don't know. I did that somewhere. I just made a bunch of stupid versions of me. So, I
164. 32:45did that as the as the image and then I did cartoon illustration on a white background using an SREF um Tik Tok pen.

166. 33:07was definitely in a cheese mood. Or you had to pee. So, you can do that, too. You can you can you can pick either

210. 41:27tools are early. They're broken. They are they are not good. They're unreliable. And they're the most
211. 41:36remarkable thing you've ever seen. Both of those things can be true at the same time. So normalize the remarkableness.
212. 41:45Just say, "Yeah, they do that now." And then accept the fact that they're just going to be shitty. And find a ways to
213. 41:51make them less shitty. Okay. So now let's go over to Runway ML, which has got some interface challenges in my opinion. Runway ML
