28. 7:47make money with Chie T we'll make money with chat Chie T we'll figure some stuff out looks like old Elon Musk kept his word
29. 8:01although when does a week start if a week starts on a Monday then he kept his word but if a week ends on a Saturday
30. 8:10then he was a day late and I think we could do a class action lawsuit so old Elon op sourced the weights to grock which is a
31. 8:25314 or 341 billion parameter um 341 I think it's big um mixture of Agents model which means
32. 8:39it's like multiple expert systems chained together um and then Apple also released from what I've read like I
33. 8:50don't know enough about this [ __ ] to know but from what the the feedback is on the Apple they released something called mm1 which is
34. 9:00is a new large language model mix mixture of experts large language model um and they released a lot of details
35. 9:10um and the way someone described it is anyone who's claiming to be open right now is kind of on their heels because of
36. 9:17llama grock's open source and what Apple just did because apparently they put a lot of details in there about how this thing
37. 9:24works so I have a feeling we're probably going to get some some Siri 2 action at some point here happy uh St Patty's Day uh Ted Ted
38. 9:37gave us this lovely AI learning lab Pub says play share repeat in a little sign there pretty slick isn't it but what's
39. 9:45grock like compared to chat GPT well grock right now sucks compared to chat GPT again I I don't know enough about
40. 9:53this stuff to know anything I'm just going by what I've seen so far today um what they released is a completely
41. 10:01non fine-tuned non-optimized large language model and it makes it from what I can gather it's so big that it's not really
42. 10:11usable by mere mortals so so I have a feeling that over the over the coming weeks um it's going to get optimized and
43. 10:21um what do they call it quantized and made more efficient and fine-tuned and things like that so my guess is is that
44. 10:31it's going to become the foundation for a bunch of really amazing stuff um but I don't know but it's out
45. 10:40there it's out there and it's it's a it's a pretty big deal it's a pretty big deal so he put his money where his mouth
46. 10:47is with that particular that particular thing now what he open sourced is the current version of grock I assume I can only
47. 10:58assume that working on the next version of it is he going to open source that one I don't know is he long going to be a do as I
48. 11:08say not as I do guy we'll see oh man all right if it's open source does it mean everyone can now improve it
49. 11:20yes yes well yeah they can f tune it they can optimize it they can they can make it more efficient I assume they can
50. 11:27do smaller versions of it I don't know again I don't know how that stuff works um but yeah it's open- sourced under a
51. 11:34an Apache 2 license which is a commercial license um so from what I understand again I don't know a ton about like
52. 11:44those open source licensing agreements I I I try to steer clear of the Apple doesn't usually make huge mistakes when they release something
53. 11:53yeah what's weird about the Apple release of the mm1 um large language model paper is that it was done so quietly and
54. 12:04because it's a technical paper it may make sense that they didn't make a big brewhaha over it because most people
55. 12:11won't give a [ __ ] about a paper um but it's not like apple to release something with technical details
56. 12:22in it like that normally they keep all that [ __ ] proprietary so so there's definitely something going on with getting getting
57. 12:32these tools out into the world you know I think in the end for all of us what this what this points to for me is a future
58. 12:46where a handful of large companies get to Corner the market on who has access to AI I think we're steering away from that future with
59. 12:58these open Source things I discovered that chat GPT has a hardcoded restriction on prompts that repeat themselves possibly that's probably
60. 13:09that's probably because that's probably a hedge against some sort of H hacking attack where you you know you you bomb the large language
61. 13:20model with the same prompt over and over again and then make it lose its mind is my guess I did discover something cool I
62. 13:28didn't Discover it I found out about this on Twitter today um so let me show you something so I did a little speculating the other
63. 13:38day about the voice that was used in this video I can probably find it here actually
64. 13:58um so in this video if you're a web designer here are four Wix Studio features you got to [Music]
65. 14:17know hey figure one what do you see right now I see a red apple on a plate in the center of the table a drying rack with
66. 14:29cups and a plate and you standing nearby with your hand on the table great can I have something to eat sure

68. 14:59because it's the only uh edible item I could right there it's the only uh edible item so the other so if you don't
69. 15:07know what that video is this is um a company called Figure one or a company called figure this is their figure one
70. 15:14robot they're only 18 months old and you probably can't see it but in the face of the robot that's just the normal chat
71. 15:23GPT um uh conversational interface um but when I heard when I heard that thing say um it it sounds too
72. 15:33conversational I thought maybe this is a faked video provide you with from the table see if we can get another
73. 15:44one great so based on the scene right now where do you think the dishes in front of you go next the dishes on the table like that
74. 15:58PL and cup are likely to go into the drying rack next great can you put them there all right he doesn't do it again
75. 16:05but here's what I learned today so if you put chat
76. 16:21GPT hang on I want to change voices voice hi there I just hey there hey I'm ready to hit hey it's great to hey I'm ready
77. 16:35to hit the ground running okay so we put it in convers so I'm in the regular chat GPT app for iOS this also works in
78. 16:46Android um if you don't know about this make sure you get the official one from open aai there's a bunch of fakers out
79. 16:52there but anyway if you're using the official one in the lower right hand corner you can put it you hit these
80. 16:56little headphones puts it into convers ation mode explain a caling scene near a pond for
81. 17:16me sure imagine this you're sitting quietly by the edge of a tranquil Pond the water is smooth reflecting the soft
82. 17:24pastels of the early morning sky around you the world is waking up okay okay so fine but decently formal um you can just ask it to talk less
83. 17:36formally and it will so it's you can also ask it to speak Japanese or German right and it will so check this
84. 17:46out sorry I'm having issues right now could not understand what you said great so I'd like you to say the
85. 17:55same thing but I want you to respond very casually using ums and and things like that that make the speech more casual and
86. 18:07conversational oh um imagine you're just chilling by this super peaceful Pond right the water's all smooth kind of
87. 18:14reflecting those soft colors in the sky as the sun's coming up it's uh really pretty you can smell flowers blooming
88. 18:21somewhere close by there's this light Breeze that ah kind of dances over the water making these gentle ripples like
89. 18:28it's it's almost like a different language right it's a dialect right so there's I can I can talk like I write
90. 18:36right so it writes something and talks like that but you can just tell it talk like people talk and it talks like
91. 18:41people talk so so the thing that I thought was maybe a giveaway that that was a marketing thing was just clever
92. 18:49prompting which is it there's a really good lesson here which is um play play with these things like
93. 18:59what what's amazing about llms right now is the the programming language of large language models is you telling it you asking it just ask
94. 19:11it to do stuff and sometime a lot of times it will say it can do something and it can't right so that you discover
95. 19:18through back and forth but this this idea of it um writing writing like someone talks like it let me can I zoom in on this no I
96. 19:29can't really zoom in on it but like at the very top of that paragraph see where it says oh um so like it's it's now
97. 19:38writing in conversational English rather than written English which is [Laughter] fascinating Isn't that
98. 19:56cool doesn't sound natural though Robert sounded natural well it's also possible that they're using a a more advanced
99. 20:04version of um text to speech there that is very [Music] possible it's got

102. 20:51happening in your world so you're already pretty conversational but could you shift to a bit more casual ual conversation that
103. 21:00uses us ands and things like [Music] that yeah I got you Kyle so um what's been keeping you busy lately like you
104. 21:11know any cool stuff going on or anything no but I kind of like this idea of conversational English being quite different than written
105. 21:22[Music] English oh yeah totally I mean written English can be kind of stuff informal right but when you're just chatting with
106. 21:30friends it's way more chill and laidback like it's cool how we can just like you know be ourselves and not worry about
107. 21:38sounding super proper or whatever I'm sure people have written papers on this anything interesting I should know
108. 21:49about oh yeah definitely linguists and language experts have been studying this stuff for ages one cool thing is that in
109. 21:56conversational English we tend to more filler words like um and like to give ourselves time to think or just to sound
110. 22:04more natural it's like a way of showing that we're just having a casual chat you know and also we often use slang and
111. 22:12abbreviations that's amazing that that really s like that it sounds more human right because humans don't talk like
112. 22:20writers humans talk like uh you know stuff and stuff you know I'm I'm like I'm like an an encyclopedia of ums and us and so and you know
113. 22:37right that's my pie girlfriend Detroit Jay hold hold wait hoen uh back off that's my Zephyr she's she she's my gal
114. 22:48buddy we're gonna we're don't don't don't get in there on my turf that's my Z she and I tight she's from the valley oh let's see

120. 23:55mood can you go into more of a passive voice [Music] certainly Kyle the valley girl Persona can be shifted into a more passive voice
121. 24:07to accommodate your request in this mode the conversation would focus on using B verbs and emphasizing the action being
122. 24:16done rather than the person doing it for example the shopping mall was visited by the girls instead of the girls went to
123. 24:24the shopping mall would this meet your desired conversational tone you seem very formal all of a sudden can you just go into passive mode
124. 24:33without explaining it sure thing Kyle the shopping mall was visited the clothes were tried on and the sales were taken advantage of
125. 24:45conversations were had and memories were made the girls enjoyed their day and the sun set on another successful
126. 24:52outing yeah that's boring how about passive aggressive of course Kyle passive aggressive it is it's fine if you don't appreciate the
127. 25:05efforts being made here to provide a diverse range of conversational Styles perhaps there's something else that
128. 25:11would be more to your liking but it's really no big deal if nothing seems to meet your standards you're a sassy little
129. 25:25mink oh sass is certainly within the realm of Poss possibilities Kyle after all who doesn't appreciate a little wit
130. 25:31and humor in a conversation but don't worry the SAS is all in good fun with no offense intended okay great now I'd like you to
131. 25:39shift into an assertive mode talk like an ice cold Wall Street hedge fund [Music] guy listen up Kyle in this world it's
132. 25:52eat or be eaten if you want to succeed you've got to be ruthless Cutthroat and always one step ahead of the competition
133. 25:59I'm not here to hold your hand or patch you on the back I'm here to make money and if you're not on board then you're
134. 26:06deadweight now do you want to be a winner or a loser that feels a little aggressive to me I just want you to love me see what she
135. 26:19says listen Kyle I'm not here to give you warm and fuzzies this is Wall Street not a daycare center emotions are liabilities
136. 26:28yeah you know I I it it actually makes a lot of sense now that I think about it because if these things if these things
137. 26:36can just flip into French or flip into you know flip into uh you know some obscure language that 200 people on the
138. 26:46planet know um of course they can slip into dialects and and subtleties of language like but I mean it's it's staggering it's taking me this
139. 26:59long to figure that out but like why would you why would you try to figure that out unless you were a linguist
140. 27:08right like I like language but I don't really think of it like that but it it makes perfect sense and I think the thing that where I
141. 27:18get really excited is you can also you could have chat GPT or or you know any of these large language
142. 27:32models you could have them create um an answer to something and either tag it with Json where there's different emotions
143. 27:46within a paragraph So within a paragraph you might have someone that talks really soft and then they laugh and then they get really angry um
144. 27:56is pi free yeah Pi is free it's from a company called inflection so if you want to go get that app it's um Pi is amazing
145. 28:05so the company is inflection you spell it Pi Pi like the like the number not like the food um and uh and put it into
146. 28:16conversation mode it's not good um conversation Mode's that little phone at the bottom of the screen um
147. 28:25it's not really good as as like chat GP if you type into it it's too conversational it it like asks a lot of
148. 28:32questions and it's it's annoying if you're just trying to get something done um but if you want to talk to it and
149. 28:38have a conversation with it I mean it's remarkable have it invent games for you have it teach you something have it it's
150. 28:45connected to the internet so you can have it uh tell you about the latest movies at your local movie theater things like
151. 28:54that it's amazing I can't see what inflection does with it next I know I know well the so if you don't know in
152. 29:01the past week the underlying large language model sitting underneath Pi went to version 2.5 and its benchmarks test better than
153. 29:11gp4 so it is an incredibly capable large language model that is connected to the internet and then anything any
154. 29:20conversation you have like all the stuff that I was just talking about you know is is saved in the conversation
155. 29:29thread right so you could put it into conversation mode in your car on your way to work and have a brainstorming
156. 29:36session about something you're trying to solve at work and when you get to work all all the [ __ ] will be there pretty
157. 29:50amazing I love P but the way she laughs is bother bothersome haha I think I need that wall Wall Street tough love approach can it be my
158. 30:00morning alarm exactly get your ass out of bed apparently someone told me I I've never experienced this but someone told
159. 30:12me that Pi started proactively reaching out to them hey I haven't heard from you in a while what's up I haven't I haven't
160. 30:21had to do that but I wonder if you've got to have the app running or something like that P gave me some incorrect
161. 30:26information today and AI perplexity uh blue age these things listen until large language models get reasoning they're
162. 30:35going to hallucinate it's the nature of how they work so it's a predictive model that kind of goes word by word so when
163. 30:42you give it a prompt it creates a probability it goes into this funky mathematical space grabs the highest probability
164. 30:50token um and then that's associated with words and spaces and punctuation and it it it's literally just going give me
165. 30:58some mathematical probability what words that associated with and it's it's typing them probab probab probabilistically I don't know how to
166. 31:07say that word um it doesn't know what it wrote so it will hallucinate so the nature of how these things were they're
167. 31:14going to hallucinate so just you know know that and then don't have it write legal briefs with you for you without proofreading
168. 31:25them because you look like the Dopey lawyer that got his ass handed to him by a [Laughter] judge all
169. 31:41right can you ask it to refresh the conversation window too I don't know let's see hey Z I'd like to completely start

182. 34:23notification that's cool daily moment a short message from PI with inspiration motivation or just a hello all right I'm opting into all this

196. 36:53talk to the developers of Pi they have a Discord uh I I think I signed into their Discord once I haven't spent a lot of
197. 37:00time there she told me the same thing Mr it back off buddy you leave my Zephyr alone she is mine she is all
198. 37:14my um I thought I was her favorite human I am spotus I am spotus um m um I can't find those settings the
199. 37:29settings you go to the Little Star in the upper left and then you click on your there's a little icon in the top
200. 37:36right of that modal that comes up you asked her to start from a clean State and now she remembered her name yeah I
201. 37:42know exactly it's these things are weird embrace the Jank people embrace the Jank okay so listen um sounds like
202. 37:52there's some new new folks in here tonight which is cool um one of the things that this channel is is an extension of a larger
203. 38:02Community called the AI salon and that's the URL right there the salon. a so if you go there that's going
204. 38:12to take you to a link tree the first link on that link tree says AI Salon community and if you go to that it's
205. 38:19going to take you to this really cool site and it's going to drop you right on this page welcome to the AI
206. 38:35salon and if you check it out so what this is think think think of the AI Salon as a support group for people that
207. 38:43are are choosing to be on this AI adventure together right so so here's the deal these tools are incredibly profound or profoundly
208. 38:55powerful they are changing on a on at least a weekly basis if not a daily basis and they're changing quite dramatically and
209. 39:07so so much is happening so fast that it's literally impossible for any single person to keep up with this stuff so one
210. 39:15of the one of the universal realities that I hear of anyone trying to learn this stuff is I can't keep up I'm
211. 39:21overwhelmed I'm exhausted I feel so far behind I feel like a dumb dum work that I do is stupid and everyone else is
212. 39:29better than me there's just a lot of apologizing there's a lot of overwhelm there's also increasingly going to be a need to understand
213. 39:46um like the nature of the people you work with rather than their skills right so right now when you want to hire
214. 39:53someone we tend to lead in our society with what do you do I'm a copywriter what do you do I'm an illustrator what
215. 40:00do you do I'm a consultant right we're going to be moving over the next probably two to five years into a work reality where these
216. 40:12tools can make everyone be able to do most skills really well so rather than hiring someone for skill you're going to
217. 40:22hire them because you know them and you trust them so being in community is actually really important for the long
218. 40:29term so this community is a bunch of people that are choosing to be on this AI Adventure early right we're super
219. 40:37early right now it may not feel like it but we're way early we're way early like I'm guessing in the neighborhood of
220. 40:465 to 10% of people right now have any sense of what this AI stuff is like really small percentage and a
221. 40:56lot of people are just ignoring it don't know anything about it or actively resisting it this group's the opposite
222. 41:02of that and so if you come here read about who we are and you know why we do what we do and also check out our values
223. 41:10so this is a group that's got a really particular kind of personality and as it scales I want to keep that personality
224. 41:17so the thing about values in a in a in a community is you know some communities you go in and you really dig dig it and
225. 41:26some commun you go in and you're like who the [ __ ] are these people read the values before you decide
226. 41:32to jump in and join this because this is who these people are right now and this is what we want to retain so they're
227. 41:39curious right one of our values is curiosity we want people that are like oh how does that work what what what do
228. 41:44I do next you know oh they released something new what what's new about it did did they fix the broken thing right
229. 41:50there's this level of just hunger and curiosity going on that that is active here generosity is the next one a lot of
230. 41:58communities people will learn stuff and then they kind of hoard the information there's kind of a stinginess to it this
231. 42:03is a very generous community so like if you learn something share it and share like what worked and what didn't and and
232. 42:10how did you prompt it like that and if someone says oh I'm really confused here oh I I figured that out last week let me
233. 42:16help you right there's there's a level of generosity here that's quite remarkable exploration this is a group
234. 42:22of people that are choosing to step into the unknown are choosing to accept that they're not the expert right because every time you try
235. 42:34to learn something new with this AI stuff you you feel like a bumbling idiot every single time it's just like you're
236. 42:42just like oh my God how do I do oh and then at some point you kind of figure it out you're like okay I think I got it
237. 42:48figured out and right about that time they updated it again and you feel like a dummy again so so like having that
238. 42:54sense of adventure big part of this collaboration people in this community are connecting with one another creating subcommunities
239. 43:02creating projects starting companies really super inspiring inclusion is one of the values like include people
240. 43:08because people are coming from all different backgrounds all different levels of experience empathy is one of
241. 43:14the values here this this is one of my one of the ones that I think is the most important because there is a lot of um
242. 43:22there's a lot of fear right now there's a lot of anger right now about about AI I if you talk about AI in certain
243. 43:29circles you'll get sort of blasted in the face with AI sucks you're awful um that's fear that's fear and and
244. 43:39that's not a pleasant place to be and so understanding that people might come into this community feeling scared
245. 43:47feeling angry not quite understanding what's going on you know having thank you very much Yousef having a lot of uh
246. 43:55you know trepidation about you know maybe they heard it works a certain way and they're making some assumptions um
247. 44:00so so taking that time to actually listen to someone where they're coming from and understand that um is is a
248. 44:08critical part of this community and then the final one is gratitude you know if you're if you're in a community of
249. 44:15really generous people people that are willing to help you out we may not need to say it but we actually think it's important to say it
250. 44:24I I'll actually read this this is one of my favorite values we just added this recently We Believe gratitude is a practice gratitude is not
251. 44:32just a feeling but an action take the time to acknowledge the efforts support and successes of the extraordinary
252. 44:39people in this community especially if someone inspires you go out of your way to acknowledge them tag them in your

295. 51:02Journey you have to generate your images in Discord which is a a community platform that's it's primarily used by
296. 51:10Gamers but it's it's been it's been taken over by you know early developers of apps can sort of launch the the logic
297. 51:20of their app in mid Journey without or in in Discord without having to like build an interface right it they can
298. 51:27basically just make Bots inside Discord um and and that's where mid Journey started it's moving to the web but the
299. 51:36the primary way you make mid-journey images is in Discord and it's you kind of have to do a command line you have to
300. 51:43do slash imagine and then you have to put in a prompt and then you have to put in these arguments like D- AR for aspect
301. 51:51ratio it's it's decently complicated the thing about mid journey is is it's brilliantly good in terms of quality of
302. 52:01image so I knew I needed to to generate a bunch of images to get access to the alpha and so what I did was I went over to chat

320. 56:17say give me 10 different prompts and 10 different art styles and it did that and I didn't quite like what it did and then I had it
321. 56:27give me 10 in the in 10 unique and interesting art styles and it did that that was okay and then and then my wife's got a
322. 56:39new show up right now which is an abstract art show and I thought o let me play around with some of the themes in
323. 56:46her current show and see if we can come up with something so I said give me 10 prompts for abstract art that has Stark
324. 56:53black and white elements with a single other color which is what her current thing does um I said have them be unique Concepts
325. 57:02but but be loose but I'll be loose with rough raw brush strokes and splatters and so then it wrote me 10
326. 57:12prompts and so what I did was I just literally copy and pasted each prompt went over to Mid journey and just just splattered them in
327. 57:22here so let me show you that's my East Village stuff I'll show you those too those were really cool I did a LinkedIn post on that
328. 57:34stuff look at all I did today I I used up all my credits for the month and I I used them all in like an

341. 1:00:44right and I'll actually walk you through some of what I did and some of what my thinking was here okay so I started here and this and
342. 1:00:57this is just this is literally a copy and paste an abstract mixed media painting featuring swirls swirling chaos
343. 1:01:05of black and white with burst of electric blue capturing the energy of a stormy sea at night and so if you don't know mid
344. 1:01:13Journey this is four different images and then you can upscale them or you can get a variation of any one of them so if
345. 1:01:20I really like this Smoky looking one I could hit V1 and it'll give me four variations of that of that version um and so I did this for I did
346. 1:01:3010 different prompts from chat GPT and then I just have my wife look at them and say which ones does she like and then she loved those which
347. 1:01:44those are really cool and then what I did like you'll notice here for this set of four I upscaled number three which is
348. 1:01:52this one and then she said she liked one three and four so I said let me have variations of one three and
349. 1:02:01four and then similarly with the orange ones where were they here she really liked this one so I said give me variations of number four and
350. 1:02:16then it starts popping them out there's the variations I upscaled all of them cuz she liked them all and then I did upscale creative so it
351. 1:02:29took this image and upscaled it again and then that's that's the things I kept anything that I did upscale creative on aren't those
352. 1:02:39cool and then I even printed them out and these ones look really good printed out actually look at that look how beautiful that
353. 1:02:50is crazy right without even having to think about it so then I just sort of [ __ ] around went back and forth
354. 1:03:03and I let's see publish as where's my view [Music]
355. 1:03:18profile so then I did this post on LinkedIn and so I created all of these in that ex that exact same way so what I
356. 1:03:30wrote was I moved to New York City in 1987 I lived in East Harlem on 114th and 1st Avenue I was an actor and a
357. 1:03:38photographer I hung out in the East Village I always marveled at the punk rock scene but I never had the guts to
358. 1:03:44photograph it I spent an hour this morning on a mid Journey fueled walk down memory lane I'd like to think that
359. 1:03:51these are the kind of shots I would have taken generative AI continues to be a re ation to for me and then these are the
360. 1:03:58images that I shared so this these these essentially just came straight out of mid journey I did very little um I had very little
361. 1:04:10concern with details of prompts I just kept like if it generated something I like I upscaled it and then if I likeed
362. 1:04:19the upscale I kept it and so that's these are the sort of edits I I did I probably generated I don't know a hundred
363. 1:04:27pictures and then out of those these are the ones I picked so that one I just love look at that that look in his
364. 1:04:34eye and the what's what's amazing about these images for me is they they emotionally feel like what it felt to live like in New York City in
365. 1:04:47the 80s like they're they're they're they're remarkably like what it was like this is very similar to a style of
366. 1:04:58photograph like street photography that I do this is I've got a lot of shots like this another one's just amazing let me make it a little
367. 1:05:12brighter beautiful right the punk scene like I was never in any of those clubs but those clubs were happening when I was there
368. 1:05:26this one's great because it's like it it looks like he's standing outside of cbgbs or some Club but it's like NPR yam
369. 1:05:35cab 6 oi it's completely nonsensical but it's like it's kind of cool it kind of [Laughter] works that's just a cool shot

376. 1:07:23and for me generating in the context of a conversation is it's just works for my brain better right I don't like having
377. 1:07:33to think about prompting and having to architect my prompts I just I don't know it just doesn't interest me um but mid

379. 1:07:51whenever I think it was last night the guy from mid Journey was in here like and encourage encouraging me to do stuff

381. 1:08:08there's a couple of them that are you can tell their AI but most of them you can't like most of them look like like

410. 1:13:14I is what I use maximum concurrent jobs three jobs with 10 jobs waiting in the the queue I maxed those out
411. 1:13:29today and then usage rights are all the same rate images um there's 10 bucks a month 30 60 and 120 the the big difference between all
412. 1:13:43of them is just you get to do more with if you spend more money at $60 you get the ability to go into stealth mode because in mid Journey
413. 1:13:56if you want to make images you're kind of making them in public if you want to make them in private it's hard to but
414. 1:14:02I'll give you a couple of options one is you can pay 60 bucks a month and then you can go into stealth mode no one can
415. 1:14:07see your [ __ ] but the way you do this is the way you create images here you go into the newbies sections newbies
416. 1:14:16rooms and then you just you know do slash imag slash imag and then you type in your prompt and it will make images and if you're
417. 1:14:27like that seems awful you're correct but if you're if you join the AI Salon server we've got a mid Journey Channel
418. 1:14:38where it's not nearly as busy so you'll just be generating images essentially with people that you know that you hang out with on the
419. 1:14:48uh on the AI salon so that's cool Deco here has improved a lot and is less money I will wait for the web interface

432. 1:16:55rolled over I wouldn't have got limited I wouldn't have got rate limited so I assume they reset at the end of each

459. 1:21:40mid Journeys up here just for pure image quality doll or mid Journey IDE and Dolly are probably 50/50 and then
460. 1:21:50fireflies down here and then you've got the whole stable diffusion world is like a whole other world and of itself where some
461. 1:22:00some um some ways you use stable diffusion it's really shitty and some ways you use stable diffusion it's
462. 1:22:07really good but you've got to be pretty geeky and if you want to get a flavor of it go to

464. 1:22:36cockpit uh how are people using MJ getting motion on their images so what they're doing let's go do that we'll go

468. 1:23:36okay so so what we're going to do so the way they're doing that motion you can either do it there's there's a number of
469. 1:23:41tools that do this um the one there there's two that I use Runway ML and pabs p i so I'm going to go to Runway ml
470. 1:23:57and then I'm going to go to generate videos and it says bring your images to life with gen two so I'm going to say
471. 1:24:05start generating and you can either give this a text prompt or you can start with an image so I'm going to upload one of my
472. 1:24:18images oh maybe that one will be good yeah that one will be good nah it's going to [ __ ] up their faces let me just do this one all
473. 1:24:29right so I'm going to upload this image so it's going to pop it in there I'm going to I'm going to put a
474. 1:24:44prompt of camera zooms out and then I'm going to go there's a little icon here for parameters no
475. 1:25:00that's not the one I want let's see camera so horizontal so we'll pan right a little bit and then we'll zoom out a little bit
476. 1:25:132.5 and then we'll hit save and then we'll hit generate boom and so now it's going to just take that image and do [ __ ] with it the thing
477. 1:25:24about these tools right now is couple of things happen they absolutely destroy detail so that's a like a really highly
478. 1:25:33detailed image you'll see that the the image will get much softer and just it'll it'll blow out all the detail and
479. 1:25:41then it'll either be [ __ ] brilliant or like someone's face will turn into an elbow and I don't use this enough like
480. 1:25:55like Sher D in here uses this a lot um and so she knows how to do this and you know she's in the Creator fund so she
481. 1:26:03can do lots and lots of these these um movie generating tools tend to be pretty expensive um what app is this this is uh Runway
482. 1:26:15ml but Runway ml has some good stuff in it and it's I think Runway ml feels like one of those companies that's going to
483. 1:26:22be around for a while they're TOS are going to get better and better and better um when Sora came out someone asked the CEO of
484. 1:26:30Runway is the next version of Runway going to be as good as Sora and his response was better so what they have
485. 1:26:40coming up is probably going to be pretty good but let's let's see how ugly this got that's pretty good I mean it's subtle but you you know
486. 1:26:55it's got this weird kind of Parallax effect where there's a there's a rack Zoom thing where you zoom in on an image
487. 1:27:02while you're pulling the camera physically back and it changes the depth of field in real time it's kind of doing that but that's pretty
488. 1:27:12cool it didn't [ __ ] up their faces and actually the detail is not bad but notice let's see um where can I show you the um see the detail
489. 1:27:28here and then here it's all gone right it's just flat everything's flattened out so Runway just eats details but they
490. 1:27:39and they all do but um they won't in the future they just do right [Laughter] now so that's how you do that pretty slick isn't it
491. 1:27:54and I mean what's amazing is you you can you can either be super intentional with this stuff like you've got a vision for what you
492. 1:28:04want or you can just jump into open AI into chat GPT and go give me 20 ideas 20 ideas and 20 Styles and it'll just spit
493. 1:28:15[ __ ] out and then if there's something in there that you like go ooh give me 20 more just focusing on those two ideas
