7:28 found there's been little
7:31 trouble since you came to my
7:38 rescue and if you like all of the rest I

8:50 Jeff Daniels on Kelly
8:53 Clarkson where he sang a song about his
8:55 guitar that I should learn that song
8:57 that that was a really good song he like
9:00 moved her to tears it's just so like raw
9:03 it was very much the kind of music I
9:05 like
9:05 [Music]

15:58 some uh
16:00 all right we got some dogs singing it's
16:02 all good it's all good we thought he was
16:06 broken he just needed some time he just
16:08 you know what it was he had dinner right
16:10 before I think he was a little
16:12 rambunctious about dinner I think he was
16:14 excited think he was
16:16 excited all right we got some folks in
16:18 here so here's what we're going to do
16:19 tonight we're going to do something I
16:22 think we might go play with LTX
16:26 Studio well I'm not really even sure
16:31 I'm going to show you something that's
16:32 going to look
16:34 unremarkable that is quite
16:39 [Music]
16:52 remarkable oh you know what I was
16:53 thinking about doing cuz I don't play my
16:56 guitar as much at
16:58 work this is
17:00 really of no interest to
17:04 anyone but my work guitar my gild that's
17:07 my favorite
17:09 guitar I don't play it as much so if I
17:12 take this one to work the one with the
17:14 shitty bottom
17:17 end
17:19 um and bring home my guild then I won't
17:22 have shitty problems and I'll have a
17:24 better guitar here
17:26 [Music]
17:39 all right Silver Fox one thing I got is
17:43 um diffusion
17:48 Doom another thing is the LTX
17:52 contest you can win $1,500
17:55 [Music]
18:22 [Music]
18:29 wa

19:23 songwriter
19:26 [Music]
19:27 [Applause]
19:28 [Music]
19:39 Tech
19:40 friend I actually made it this time
19:43 welcome welcome welcome D you may just
19:45 ask chat GPT to create a
19:47 laboratory QC chart that would have
19:51 taken me forever by
19:53 hand you know what's funny Daisy May
19:56 what I always say is
20:01 why spend a week on a laboratory QC
20:03 chart when you can do it 5 minutes with
20:05 chat
20:06 GPT and you know what's funny I said
20:09 that before chat GPT even existed it's
20:13 just like an old wives tail so I'm
20:16 really glad you came to
20:17 that if I had a nickel for every
20:21 laboratory QC chart I've created in my
20:26 day uh can I borrow a nickel
20:30 [Music]
20:33 that was comedy by the
20:35 [Music]
20:36 [Applause]
20:48 way this the gentleman that codes with
20:51 AI and would like to come up as a guest
20:53 is that you Joker you want to come up
20:55 and chat chatty chat
20:57 [Music]
21:14 oh Tech friend Tech friend wants to come
21:16 up all right come up Tech friend Tech
21:19 friend what's
21:24 happening te friend you there
21:30 yes hello what's happening how you doing
21:33 wait almost almost almost here all
21:39 right oh my God I can't keep this camera
21:42 open all right maybe we'll just oh there
21:44 we go there you go what's happening
21:47 hello you got a you got a you got like a
21:50 booger on your
21:51 lens yes um yeah something wrong witha
21:55 you been shooting lasers at your camera
21:58 have you been lasers at your
22:01 camera I dropped it on the beach and
22:03 then this happened oh no that
22:08 sucks how's it
22:10 going I'm well um I'm also a Creator on
22:13 Tik Tok Joker and a few other people in
22:16 the chat when I go live said you should
22:18 do a demo on AI learning lab oh cool and
22:21 here I am all right what are you going
22:24 to what are you going to show us this is
22:26 this is this is not planned people this
22:28 is totally
22:29 spontaneous do you have do you have by
22:31 any chance a pink bow that you could put
22:34 in your
22:36 head um let's see here I got one you
22:41 mean in real life yeah like this
22:44 generally when we do Tech demos we do it
22:46 in a pink bow no it's not true I just
22:49 someone sent me a pink bow as a gift so
22:52 I've been wearing it to disturb people I
22:55 don't I have hold on I have a colorful
22:57 hat okay good
22:59 I'm I'm glad we're setting some
23:01 broadcast standards here okay that's
23:03 nice I like
23:05 it okay um cool so what do you what do
23:08 you want to show us I'm not exactly sure
23:11 what Joker if you want to um say what
23:14 you wanted I assume it's I've been
23:16 working on um an autonomous web browsing
23:20 agent like a Chrome extension that you
23:23 tell it what you want it to do and it
23:24 does it oh that's pretty cool how are
23:27 you so you are you engineer by by
23:30 background what's your what's your uh
23:32 What's your deal yeah I've been a
23:34 software engineer for like over seven
23:40 years and when did you get bit by the
23:43 the AI bug was it has it been for a
23:45 while
23:47 um oh yeah for ages
23:50 like since deep learning and deep
23:55 dream but um I'm not really like a
23:58 machine learning engineer I'm more of
24:00 like
24:01 applications yeah software traditionally
24:03 web so it wasn't really accessible until
24:06 chat GPT and then things really
24:09 accelerated then so yeah and sort of all
24:12 sorts of help broke loose I know it's
24:13 pretty crazy isn't it yeah it's really
24:20 exciting um yeah okay I think I'm set up
24:24 for a demo
24:25 whenever all right how do we make that
24:27 happen
24:29 I can just show it on the camera I guess
24:31 I don't know yeah all right cool let's
24:32 do it I wonder can I feature
24:36 you oh so yeah that would be cool but I
24:39 don't know I don't think so
24:42 oh does that work I think that's
24:46 worse yeah I think that's worse
24:51 shrink okay Joker is saying showing the
24:54 tools not the tools that I've made but
24:56 Robo coders Ai and lazy a they're um
25:00 kind of like full stack uh software
25:03 development tools that I'm not really
25:05 affiliated with but um I show them on my
25:07 stream I can show those if you want I
25:10 don't yeah anything so so generally what
25:13 what I focus on in this channel is is um
25:17 you know kind of post chat GPT a AI
25:20 stuff right so any tools that are you
25:22 know leveraging this stuff or you know
25:25 some of the image gen models music
25:26 models things like that so anything that
25:29 you think would
25:30 be interesting for people yeah I think
25:33 we can go through all of them um I've
25:35 already set up the my own product so
25:37 I'll quickly go through that and then
25:39 yeah cool um we can go through one by
25:41 one all right
25:43 great um so this is a chrome window here
25:47 and um this is like the oops let me get
25:49 this in a view that we can all see it
25:51 extensions page uh my extension is
25:53 called clicklist cage I've set up the
25:57 cck cage yeah it's like Nicholas Cage
26:00 but it
26:01 clicks buttons and stuff okay I like you
26:04 already you're willing to wear the
26:05 colorful hat you named your extension
26:07 clicklist cage you that's a win that's a
26:11 win pay attention people if you're not
26:15 having fun with AI you're wasting your
26:17 time it's it's exactly we're here for
26:20 fun entertainment exactly because
26:23 because at some point this shit's going
26:24 to get serious but in the meantime let's
26:26 have a good time with it
26:29 you click it it opens up like this yep
26:32 asks you what's today's plan um I've
26:35 just integrated voice now so I'm going
26:37 to just essentially the the thing is you
26:39 tell it what to do and it'll go on the
26:41 internet and do stuff for you cool so um
26:45 I'm going to say go on Twitter and tweet
26:49 that I'm live with AI learning
26:53 lab then I submit that and let's see
26:56 what it does now it's kind of broken at
26:58 at the moment but we'll see I think it
27:00 can do tweets pretty well so I'm not
27:02 touching
27:02 anything um let's see you set up do me a
27:06 favor and turn down the brightness on
27:07 your on your monitor so it doesn't blow
27:09 out um have you um have you you've given
27:15 in the configuration you've given
27:17 clickless access to your to your
27:20 accounts so because this is a Chrome
27:22 extension it's already authenticated
27:24 with everything I'm logged into oh with
27:26 whatever you're authentic
27:28 super cool nice okay that makes sense
27:30 that's one of the reasons I chose a
27:32 chrome okay looks like it got stuck here
27:34 um it might be because of this window
27:36 size I don't
27:38 know um I also did make some changes so
27:42 I might roll back what's the what's the
27:44 tech that you're using um to have it
27:48 surf um so yeah I'm just scraping the
27:52 Dom I'm not using any vision and um yeah
27:56 it's just sending the Dom with a bunch
27:58 of I can show you the system prompt as
28:00 well
28:01 actually cool Cory wants to know if
28:04 you're using
28:05 bubble.io also curious if you're using
28:08 cursor everyone's talking about [ __ ]
28:10 cursor I'm like okay I gotta guess I
28:12 gotta go [ __ ] learn that now no you
28:15 yeah I mean yeah cursor is definitely
28:17 making a lot of waves I've been making a
28:19 lot of content around it because because
28:21 it's like the current current what I
28:23 know it's like the girlfriend of the day
28:25 isn't it yeah um oh this is this is all
28:28 open source by the way as well if you
28:30 search uh GitHub clicklist cage um but
28:33 yeah so pretty much this is the system
28:35 prompt you're an expert web browsing AI
28:38 um this is kind of what the user says
28:40 current goal current URL and then I tell
28:43 it you can um respond in Jason with
28:45 these actions click button type text or
28:48 goal achieve like keeping it very simple
28:50 just kind of two things and it chooses
28:53 like an element on the page to click or
28:55 to type text into pretty much huh Wild
28:59 I I it just it continues to blow my mind
29:03 that that we're we're effectively
29:05 programming Now by saying like go do
29:09 [ __ ]
29:12 yeah natural language is the new um
29:15 programming language just
29:17 amazing I'm gonna give this one more try
29:19 just for this demo hopefully it'll work
29:21 this time all right
29:27 go a learning lab I normally don't
29:31 recommend people play with extensions
29:33 but if you have an extension called
29:35 clickless cage you have to try it oh
29:38 there we go is it going there we go type
29:41 in
29:43 wow that's extra I didn't tell it to say
29:46 come join
29:48 me see it's unpredictable and there we
29:51 go it's it's submitted the Tweet oh and
29:53 now it's writing another
29:55 tweet you're doing a tweet thread f
29:58 fantastic and it also has like a log of
30:00 kind of what it's thinking what it's
30:03 done yeah how cool is that so how long
30:06 how far into development are you like
30:08 how how how long ago did you start this
30:10 oh boy this is I started I'm just going
30:13 to delete this TST hope you don't mind
30:14 um I started this last year in October
30:18 thinking in a hackathon thinking I could
30:20 finish it in a 24-hour hackathon and boy
30:23 was I wrong like I'd never made a Chrome
30:25 extension before and I had to learn so
30:27 many things yeah um so yeah it's been
30:29 like 10 months and now it's like kind of
30:33 working that's that's been my my curse
30:36 with AI is that like on the channel it's
30:39 really easy to show getting to 80% but
30:43 man that last 10% is a
30:46 [ __ ] it's with everything whether it's
30:49 writing like writing a book writing you
30:51 know writing code doing images like any
30:54 of it is just like not quite there
30:58 wow that's freaking awesome so what's
31:00 your is your your your channel is Tech
31:02 friend yeah this one right here um te
31:06 HFN also on YouTube
31:10 Instagram okay cool um that's cool so so
31:14 follow Tech friend so nice to meet you
31:15 what's your name by the way thank you AJ
31:18 AJ yeah cool I'm Kyle really nice to
31:22 meet you I'm glad Joker told you to
31:23 swing by my pleasure all right cool um
31:26 great seeing you and if you ever want to
31:28 come back just come back and happy to to
31:30 go live maybe we should go live together
31:32 you know one day and just uh yeah pull
31:35 both a really good Community here as
31:37 well so
31:39 yeah hosting me yeah man good to see you
31:43 bye bye bye I'm not exactly sure how to
31:46 leave but feel free to kick me I don't
31:48 know I'll kick you here I I got you
31:50 you're out of here take that hat off you
31:51 look ridiculous see you
31:56 later turn on dual camera again that was
31:58 cool thank you Joker for for uh having
32:01 him come over here he's super cool I
32:02 like him all right so we'll do something
32:04 together I'm starting to uh starting I'm
32:08 starting at like a AI ninja that dude I
32:11 like I was on his he and I did a podcast
32:14 together um I like him and uh Tech
32:18 friend new new fan first time first time
32:21 caller first time visitor and he visited
32:24 me this is awesome so that was super
32:27 cool all right
32:29 um clickless cage are you [ __ ]
32:32 kidding me I think you
32:36 know let me go I I honest to God if you
32:40 know this channel I I hate Chrome
32:43 extensions
32:44 because as someone with ADHD I install
32:47 them and forget I installed them and
32:50 then they trash my memory but Chrome's
32:53 memory lately is so bad
32:55 anyway click let k
33:01 agage that's the best [ __ ] name for
33:04 an extension I think I've ever heard I
33:06 got to go to the store Chrome web
33:10 store by the way why is it that when you
33:14 go to your extensions manager in Chrome
33:16 and they have a search box there and you
33:18 search for clicklist cage why does it
33:21 not automatically just search the
33:24 [ __ ] Chrome extension store as well
33:26 as your installed extensions
33:28 why why why do I have to click three
33:30 times
33:32 why
33:34 anyway this is not meltdown Monday but
33:37 damn it you got me on a roll here with
33:40 with clickless cage come on
33:47 click oh cage okay I'm really digging
33:52 the the
33:55 name add to Chrome
33:59 um ADD
34:05 extension to get your extension on all
34:09 your computers turn on sync that's fine
34:11 for now all right let's pin
34:16 clicklist so we always have clicklist
34:18 there okay so I added click list to my
34:21 little menu bar so now we're going to
34:22 pop it in
34:24 here oh wait I got to enter an API key
34:29 uh uh uh GPT
34:33 40 okay all right so we can figure we
34:35 can we can do this people
34:38 um so if you need to add an API key to
34:42 something like clickless cage what you
34:45 need to
34:46 do is you need to go to
34:52 platform I haven't done this in [ __ ]
34:55 ages platform. openai
35:00 remember we used to go hang out at the
35:02 at the uh this thing and I'm going to
35:05 log in so you need to have an an account
35:09 on the open AI playground if you don't
35:13 you need to get you need to do
35:16 that and then I'm going to go let's see
35:21 API where are my
35:24 keys uh uh
35:29 [Music]
35:32 playground going to the
35:35 playground looking for a man in
35:37 finance trust fun 65
35:41 BL where are my API keys they changed
35:46 the
35:48 interface come on people you can't
35:50 [ __ ] change the interface on me does
35:53 anybody know where I'm supposed to go to
35:54 get the API key they changed it
36:02 God
36:04 anybody hide your key Kyle LOL it's your
36:08 credit card yeah no I will mod Channel
36:10 Kyle another demo request
36:13 pinned all right
36:16 wait another demo request what's the
36:19 demo
36:21 request no API key no I won't show my
36:25 API key I just need to figure out where
36:26 they are
36:30 Migel tools demo tonight
36:34 please Mufasa suggested I stop by so
36:37 Miguel tools if you want to hop up here
36:39 you can hop up
36:41 here just do uh request to come up they
36:46 hid the key to save Kyle from Kyle shut
36:53 up oh they've completely changed the
36:56 playground dashboard maybe it's on dash
36:58 board assistance API Keys okay so you're
37:01 not going to see any of this you're
37:02 going to look at you're going to look at
37:03 my
37:04 light all right so anyway so I'm going
37:07 to API keys and then I'm going to create
37:10 a new secret
37:12 key and
37:14 then so we'll say this is for clickless
37:22 cage that gives me such [ __ ]
37:25 Joy uh uh uh uh uh
37:30 [Music]
37:31 all right now I'm going to go to click
37:34 list
37:35 cage show
37:37 settings API key paste it in
37:43 there I think we're
37:45 good all
37:47 right so there's clicklist
37:52 cage um add an event to Google C okay so
37:55 let's see um
38:03 go to the
38:05 blog on story
38:08 [Music]
38:10 vine.com
38:16 and tell me what
38:21 the latest
38:24 blog is about
38:43 thinking now it's possible I didn't do
38:45 my key right and I'll bring you up here
38:48 in a second here Miguel
38:51 tools let me just see if I can get this
38:53 thing
38:55 rolling it says thinking I have a a
38:58 feeling I did my key wrong all right
39:00 well screw it we'll do it we'll do that
39:02 another time all right let's get Miguel
39:04 up
39:08 here
39:10 beautiful oops I got to switch my
39:13 camera switch there you go how's it
39:17 going Ralph yeah pretty good can you
39:20 hear me yeah cool I'm I'm sorry I'm a I
39:25 turn into a boomer when it comes to Tik
39:27 Tok um there oh me too I got I got user
39:30 interface [ __ ] my second wife Marge
39:33 always helps me turn on uh turn on Tik
39:36 Tok we all need a Marge exactly Mar
39:41 Marge hey how do I know if the Tik tok's
39:46 on poke at it you got blow recn you how
39:50 you doing good to see you yeah pretty
39:52 good man recognize you too cool so um I
39:56 was going to demo some some techy stuff
39:59 but my wife's actually recording
40:01 something so I'm just going to sit
40:02 outside maybe shoot the [ __ ] for a sec
40:04 but um yeah sounds good can kind of talk
40:05 about the stuff I do yeah that's great
40:08 um right on so yeah I've been building
40:12 using
40:13 make.com and then all the AI tools that
40:15 you can kind of string together in
40:16 make.com and that's been my obsession
40:19 for like almost two years now it's been
40:21 crazy but yeah you do these crazy big
40:23 ass like
40:25 multi-headed Beast kind of things right
40:28 there was one I saw you did recently
40:30 like maybe a month or so ago it did a
40:33 relatively straightforward thing but
40:35 like it did it like you know 27 times
40:39 right right that that the thing I was
40:41 trying to do is like how can
40:44 we H you know how do we take out all the
40:46 repetitive tasks in video production you
40:48 know and and so yeah and I was I was
40:52 just kind of teaching myself how to do
40:53 it but I was doing it the weird way you
40:55 know and I feel like now I've gotten in
40:57 amongst it with some of the more
40:59 traditional make.com developers you know
41:02 like Stephan Pope and uh Angelica
41:04 automates and a few others and you know
41:06 they do it like the normal way I feel
41:08 like I'm like I'm on my meds now a
41:09 little bit so I'm like learning what
41:11 does that mean do less excessive doing
41:14 it the weird way like what what were you
41:15 doing that that is not a traditional
41:18 approach like 60 operations in one run
41:21 you know but the intention was like let
41:24 me see if I can make an AI video with
41:27 like that 60 seconds long you know and I
41:29 I have a background as a video editor I
41:31 used to work in commercial production in
41:32 LA and and in Sydney and New York and
41:35 and I was trying to remove the editor
41:37 from the from the the the pipeline from
41:40 the workflow But ultimately I just kind
41:42 of broke down and was like yeah I was
41:43 like you know you still need to edit you
41:45 just maybe make it easier for the editor
41:47 but there's still some technique some
41:49 like approach that's important right
41:51 like having a cut hit right as a word is
41:54 being said for emphasis or cutting to
41:56 the music Etc you know the AI isn't
41:58 really ready to do that yet maybe at
42:00 some point it will but um at some point
42:03 it will at some point it will yeah well
42:05 that's funny you know my my company is
42:07 called storyvine and it's an automated
42:09 video storytelling platform so it's like
42:12 yeah I B basically set out I don't know
42:14 15 years ago to automate video
42:16 production so that's what that's what my
42:18 company does but it's but it's doing it
42:20 in a in a really um in a really kind of
42:22 straightforward way where it's it's
42:24 based on narrative chunks basically so
42:26 we figure out what are the narrative
42:28 chunks of a story we want told right and
42:30 then we have an app that prompts someone
42:32 you know introduce yourself here talk
42:34 about when you're diagnosed here talk
42:36 about how you've been treating a so they
42:38 answer a series of questions and then up
42:40 in the cloud we have a basically a video
42:43 shell that's got all the edits in it and
42:45 it just drops those chunks in and it
42:47 kind of accordion to the length of the
42:49 clip so that's cool yeah that's the
42:52 closest I've come as well in terms of
42:53 having a shell that slots the Clips in
42:56 but the the clip lengths then I think
42:58 are preset I think what would be
43:00 interesting is if the AI could analyze
43:03 the clips and make a decision about
43:06 what's the same way you have like
43:07 podcast editing AI stuff now that will
43:09 know when to switch camera when
43:10 someone's speaking right Etc um how to
43:13 get the gak out right that's half the
43:15 job with editing is like I just I gotta
43:17 look at all the crap and decide oh
43:19 that's crap that has to be taken out
43:21 right and that's that's the tedious part
43:23 of it but ultimately that's what makes
43:24 it valuable yeah yeah well that's what
43:27 what we did is we basically said okay if
43:29 you you filmed two hours of crap and
43:31 you're only going to use two minutes of
43:32 it let's just go get the two minutes of
43:34 it and so our philosophy is just answer
43:37 this question and then if you do that
43:39 four times we can stitch those together
43:40 and it tells a story so that that's what
43:43 story that's that's cool um so so tell
43:47 me more about like where are you now
43:50 with make are you're like starting to
43:52 figure out like what's the yeah like
43:54 what's been that Journey because I yeah
43:56 I went into a big automation thing real
43:59 early on shortly after chat GPT came out
44:01 where I was yeah it was really like I I
44:04 was thinking about AI the way I've
44:06 always thought about computers which is
44:08 let's make [ __ ] more efficient and I've
44:10 since kind of come out of it so I
44:12 haven't been doing the automation thing
44:13 recently so I'm fascinated by where
44:16 where's your head with it now like what
44:17 what are you doing
44:19 different well yeah the big unlock for
44:21 the last couple weeks has been air table
44:23 you I I pick up some custom work from
44:25 time to time and so I've got a client
44:27 that's an Amazon Seller and he's trying
44:29 to go he's trying to go big on his
44:31 organic you know reach but he's he's a
44:33 big air table guy he's kind of a a a
44:35 software developer by by trade so it was
44:39 a chance for me to dive in and really
44:41 understand it and then Stephan Pope is a
44:42 big air table guy too so Pope just gives
44:45 a ton of um training away ad doen and
44:48 that
44:49 [ __ ] essentially now I'm building apps
44:51 so I'm able to use air table as a
44:54 controller and I can say here's the
44:57 prompts or even I could even just drag
44:59 and drop a JPEG in like so right now
45:01 I've also got like a Play account called
45:03 Ralph does stuff and I make you know AI
45:05 videos and playing along with Trends and
45:07 [ __ ] you know so one is like the Dark
45:08 Fantasy Trend and then I sort of
45:10 stumbled on a trend with like making a
45:12 caveman on a unicycle like the old um
45:15 there an old video game with the com 64
45:17 I used to play called BC quest for tires
45:19 and that's you're just that's your
45:20 little Jumpman you're you're a caveman
45:22 on a unicycle right so I just prompt
45:24 that I'm like give me a cool looking
45:25 caveman on a unicycle and I get I put
45:27 that up you know I make like six to 10
45:29 shots and cut that together to some
45:31 hip-hop song and that's like at a
45:32 million views so I'm like oh that's kind
45:35 of that's maybe that's a lane maybe
45:37 that's something to keep going with so
45:39 like playing and making the fun [ __ ] and
45:42 then building the tools to make the fun
45:44 [ __ ] and then demoing the tools right
45:46 and sort like maybe one hand will keep
45:48 washing the other but that's been an
45:49 interesting angle so right now I'm
45:51 building out a uh a street feeder Street
45:54 feeder Street Fighter Dark Fantasy um
45:57 video and I'm using air table to trigger
46:00 it all let me see if my wife's off I can
46:03 just put it up for a quick sec demo it
46:05 and air air table just just to be clear
46:08 and for for folks on the channel air
46:10 table is basically a database right yeah
46:14 yeah they describe it kind of like uh
46:17 Excel or Google Sheets on steroids yeah
46:20 exactly um you just have a lot of
46:22 functionality in the cells you can
46:24 designate you know this is a number cell
46:26 this is a this will have a click button
46:28 this will have a URL and then you can
46:30 cross reference those things there a bit
46:32 of automation you can put into it in the
46:34 backside and that's where the web hooks
46:36 come in and then you can basically send
46:37 a query to make or even getting in the
46:40 documentation so I've been really
46:41 interested in these AI tools and and
46:43 then learning their documentation so
46:45 when Leia pix turned into a mercy I went
46:47 into their documentation and I just and
46:49 I didn't understand it I'm not a coder
46:51 but I would take screenshots of it and I
46:53 would take URLs and give it to chat GPT
46:55 and be like what explain this to me at
46:57 seventh grade level and it would That's
46:59 So Co it would go here's some python
47:01 here's a python code you can paste this
47:03 in and I paste it in and go what did I
47:05 do wrong and they say oh you you missed
47:07 the comma okay and I go fix it right and
47:09 that was that's been the workflow like
47:11 it's I'm I'm like hacking my way in as a
47:14 no code developer and tricking myself to
47:17 become an App Maker
47:19 essentially it's a that's sort of the
47:21 beauty of this yeah yeah it's it's it's
47:23 Bonkers it's beautiful have you played
47:25 with LTX Studio yet haven't no I'm not
47:28 familiar with that let me see oh you got
47:30 to play with it if you want to do the
47:31 movie editing stuff so it's it's
47:33 basically it's basically a platform you
47:35 give it a prompt like make make me a
47:37 film about XYZ and it it gives you
47:40 scenes it gives you shots within the
47:42 scenes it renders the images for them it
47:44 gives you characters now it's junier
47:47 than [ __ ] right now but but it it does
47:50 sort of multi-shot does the whole thing
47:53 yeah and it and it gives you a level of
47:55 control like if you're a filmmaker and
47:57 editor you'll appreciate the level of
47:59 control it gives you even though it's
48:00 janky right now it's something to pay
48:02 attention to yeah I mean definitely I'm
48:04 definitely all about getting in early on
48:06 these things and you know the first few
48:07 AI videos I made the comments would just
48:09 be like this looks like [ __ ] though like
48:11 it's cool that you made that but it
48:13 doesn't look good you know like yeah
48:14 okay [ __ ] you but yeah you're right it
48:16 doesn't look that good but it's more
48:18 about demonstrating that it can be done
48:20 for now and then take it l so so this is
48:23 the the typical workflow I've got I've
48:25 got air table up here and I just got a
48:27 bunch of cells and what I've been doing
48:30 is just dragging and dropping either
48:32 like this is like a cosplay image of
48:35 Chun Lee right and then I drag that in
48:38 and then I've got my prompt sitting
48:40 right here and I'm like DVD screen grab
48:42 a Chun Lee D directed by Jim Hansen
48:46 Willow Dark Crystal you know film grain
48:49 and then I get these back and then I can
48:52 pick one and this is all living inside
48:53 this the uh the table so then I like
48:56 okay that one's great what's doing the
48:58 generation uh mid Journey okay so I'm
49:01 sending an API called a mid journey and
49:03 then I have the ability to select all
49:05 from one through four I can blow that up
49:07 and I built in the functionality to pull
49:09 back 200% there's more functionality in
49:11 mid Journey obviously if you're in
49:12 Discord or whatever but I just like
49:14 keeping it streamlined because then I
49:15 can also send it over to um Luma dream
49:18 machine from the same place so once I
49:20 have a shot once I have a still that I
49:22 like but more more recently what I've
49:24 been doing then is just downloading them
49:27 and and um and then running them through
49:29 three video generators so I'm running
49:31 them through cling and then Luma dream
49:34 machine and then Runway and then I'm
49:36 winding up getting so you run then I get
49:39 this like range yeah you run it through
49:42 three of them and then you're like okay
49:43 which one sucks less oh that's really
49:45 cool yes yeah and then I just get I have
49:47 like an editor's Delight you know I have
49:50 like okay now that I've got five shots
49:52 for this character one's wide one's
49:54 tight one's a crane one's a dolly that
49:56 one [ __ ] up but what whatever it
49:58 doesn't make the cut you know and then
49:59 you just do a cut down so I've been
50:01 doing it for 15 and 20 second videos and
50:03 now that I'm like getting to like the
50:05 million view Mark now I'm like all right
50:08 let's make a 60c video so we can get in
50:09 that Creator program and and monetize
50:12 that way you know and I just feel like
50:13 that's a path to just being utterly
50:16 creative and building up an audience
50:18 that way and and then just on the side I
50:20 got the the tools account this account
50:23 Ralph Ralph Miguel tools that's just
50:25 like here's how I did it you know and
50:27 documenting it for my own so I don't
50:28 just forget it next week um but yeah
50:31 that's been my thing that's been my
50:32 workflow yeah you definitely need to go
50:35 just go play with LTX Studio you'll
50:37 you'll really appreciate what they did
50:39 like what what I think's amazing about
50:41 LTX studio is right now it's technology
50:45 that is designed for um for for film
50:48 editing but it's the kind of thing where
50:51 they they're basically taking a known
50:53 workflow and and replicating that
50:55 workflow and they take a single prompt
50:57 and then they stitch together four or
50:59 five different models and and generate
51:01 this whole workflow and so it's like
51:04 you're going to be able to we're going
51:05 to see applications like that for every
51:07 workflow out there from like you know
51:10 business analysis to you know Consulting
51:13 to creative development to you know so
51:16 anyway so that's awesome I'll take a
51:18 look at that one thing I want to do next
51:20 is um like I'll have chats with chat gbt
51:23 I'll put it on the headphone mode when
51:24 I'm walking around I did this I was
51:25 traveling I did the digital thing for
51:27 like six months and I took my family
51:28 around the world CU I was like flogging
51:30 the remote work thing but um I was in
51:32 Portugal and I'm in a I'm in the back of
51:34 the supermarket and I want to buy two
51:35 bottles of wine like I don't know
51:37 anything about wine and I definitely
51:38 don't anything about Portuguese wine and
51:40 so it's like a Sci-Fi moment I fire up
51:42 chat PT I got it in the earpiece and I'm
51:44 just like I don't know anything about
51:46 wine but I'm I like Napa you know zendel
51:49 and I like uh Australian barasa shz go
51:52 and it just talks me through like the
51:54 soil in the Dora Valley and Portugal and
51:56 you may want try a bottle from there and
51:58 I got two bottles from that region I
52:00 took it home with the pasta that night
52:02 it was perfect and maybe every bottle of
52:04 red in Portugal is perfect I don't know
52:06 but it was like so I use chip PE to
52:08 bounce ideas that way yeah it's just one
52:11 of those things that I I uh my my most
52:13 recent Tik Tok video was an assignment
52:16 for for my audience to go have a five
52:19 minute conversation with chat chpt about
52:21 a topic you know nothing about just get
52:23 curious and just go go on a walk and
52:26 just get
52:28 you're complely clueless it's just like
52:31 like one of the things that I'm
52:33 um I'm curious where you are on this so
52:36 This Channel started like the week after
52:40 um chat GPT came out and then I started
52:42 doing the lives like April of that year
52:44 23 I guess and you know for a long time
52:47 the channel was about the tools and you
52:50 know because it was like we were trying
52:51 to figure out what the tools were and I
52:52 feel like at this point all the tools
52:55 are all so good that it's like you can
52:56 literally just throw a dart at any tool
52:58 and you like like you're doing like just
53:01 [ __ ] it just have three different video
53:03 tools render it and then pick pick
53:04 what's good where where I'm where my
53:07 mind is Shifting right now is Shifting
53:09 to what are the aptitudes what are what
53:12 are what are the the ways we need to be
53:15 as Professionals in the world to be
53:17 hired in the future and it's not you
53:19 learn a skill right because the AIS are
53:22 going to do all the skills and so so I
53:25 wrote an article on LinkedIn called rise
53:27 of the agile human and it basically here
53:29 are these attributes and like one of
53:31 them is curiosity and one of them is
53:32 drive and one of them is creativity and
53:35 one of them is discernment or taste
53:37 right one of them is Judgment one of
53:40 them is adaptability and so where I'm
53:42 kind of Shifting the focus of the
53:44 channel is looking at these tool through
53:47 those lenses right and so yeah go learn
53:49 something from Chachi B just start um
53:53 exercising you know that flexibility
53:56 that curi osity because the tools are
53:59 just going to be there but your ability
54:01 to navigate swiftly between them that's
54:04 the thing that's going to be the
54:05 challenge so I'm just curious where
54:06 where are you
54:08 Journey yeah what's been a weird asset
54:11 you know spending 10 years working on
54:13 Commercial trailers and and Tech
54:15 launches in LA and being around all
54:17 those Hoy toy art art types the art
54:19 school kids I didn't go to art school
54:21 you know I was a College Dropout I
54:22 played in a punk band but um being able
54:25 to rub elbows with those guys that got
54:27 the master's degree and are the creative
54:28 directors and are you know the most
54:29 sought after they got the nice boat
54:31 shoes or whatever you know that language
54:33 that you say in the studio when you're
54:35 like let me refer to this art movement
54:36 let me talk about this lensing style let
54:38 me talk about this color palette right
54:41 and that's what earns you not just it
54:43 gets you to the X as far as getting it
54:44 done and making it look good but it also
54:46 earns you some credit amongst the other
54:49 art Arty farty types right but I say
54:52 that because now I feel like so so I'm
54:53 building an app with the same workflow
54:55 that I'm using to make my my funny
54:57 caveman videos oh by the way someone
54:59 asked um what the account was it's
55:01 ralph. does. stuff Ralph does stuff
55:05 that's my Play account with the caveman
55:07 videos and all that [ __ ] so anyway I
55:09 built the app yeah cool I built the app
55:12 to to do that for myself but then I also
55:15 went and I hit up a friend of mine who
55:16 works in LA and is a producer for VFX on
55:19 big budget you know Marvel movies and
55:21 [ __ ] and I was like how would you like a
55:23 storyboard machine you know like he's
55:25 like actually it's amazing you said that
55:27 because I have a terrible storyboard
55:28 right now and I'm trying to get it
55:29 approved and it looks like crap and I
55:31 don't have a budget yet and I can't go
55:33 bother my storyboard guys because
55:34 they'll be insulted so I mean ironically
55:37 like I don't want it to just take away
55:38 jobs but I want it to be one of the
55:40 tools in the kit right so so I I
55:43 basically build it so we take the crappy
55:45 storyboard frame we put it in we go fix
55:47 this make it look more like this graphic
55:49 novel style Frank Miller you know and
55:53 then it gives you back the frame and
55:54 then you can throw character references
55:55 at it so for these guys they're not
55:57 playing they're not in the Discord you
55:59 know since since um freaking Co they
56:02 weren't on Discord making making mid
56:04 Journey shots you know they're like
56:06 still hiring storyboard artists so you
56:09 know it's h it was an interesting one so
56:10 I built that as an app for him and now
56:12 he's playing with it but but I'll get to
56:14 the point now I have a tendency to do
56:15 this I give a lot of context and a lot
56:17 of backstory but I think this answers
56:18 your question I call this chat ad so we
56:22 get it there you go perfect perfect yeah
56:24 this is why like I'm finding my moment
56:26 in the AI world because it's like the AI
56:28 is like can you give me more context I'm
56:29 like I would love to give you more
56:31 context my wife is just shaking her head
56:34 yeah have all the context so all right
56:37 so the point was he's he then jumps in
56:39 as he's getting comfortable he gets a he
56:41 gets a A frame back and he's like huh
56:43 it's almost there but the camera needs
56:45 to be a little lower and he starts
56:46 describing the scene and he's a perfect
56:48 prompter he's an expert prompter because
56:51 he's been in these Studios talking about
56:53 all the different ways to execute
56:56 goodlooking images right so it's and
56:58 it's like that's and i' I've had people
57:00 say that to me like it's weird that the
57:02 guys who know how to use Photoshop or
57:04 know how to use after effects or you
57:06 don't know how to use Cinema 4D they
57:08 also can make good AI images faster
57:10 because the The Arc Bots understand
57:13 right you can just talk to it like a
57:14 junior designer and it does actually get
57:17 those references and it does know how to
57:18 execute it so Yep this is one of yeah
57:21 this one of my contentions that that
57:23 people that have deep expertise if they
57:25 can get their head around you know
57:28 giving up the control of what they know
57:30 they're going to be really good at this
57:32 stuff there's a really interesting thing
57:33 A buddy of mine that I used to work with
57:35 in a previous company HT snow day he's
57:38 head of innovation for for some company
57:40 and he did a a contest in his in his
57:43 company the other day um where he had 30
57:47 30 or 40 or people in the room and he
57:50 gave them um they had a 30 minute
57:53 session and the goal was you use AI to
57:57 make a game and it was like four rules
58:00 it was like you have to use AI you have
58:01 to do it in HTML what whatever the rules
58:04 were right and
58:06 and uh and then he had prizes for like
58:09 fastest game best game all that sort of
58:11 stuff the fastest game was done by a
58:13 customer service guy in two minutes and
58:15 30 seconds the best game was done by a
58:18 project manager the only people that
58:20 failed to make a game successfully were
58:23 the
58:25 engineers because
58:27 because they knew how to make a game
58:30 traditionally and so they told the llms
58:32 like okay I want Sprites falling from
58:35 the top of the screen and have gravity
58:37 and interact and like the people that
58:39 didn't know programming were like give
58:41 me a game where [ __ ] falls from the sky
58:43 and I catch it it should be fun it
58:46 should be an award-winning game make it
58:48 the better game yeah exactly wow that's
58:51 really cool that's a great Point amazing
58:55 cool great manate you coming up let's do
58:59 this again maybe we do a live where we
59:01 promote it and get both of our audiences
59:03 to hang out a lot of fun sounds great
59:06 cool man rock on catch see you
59:12 likewise all right I'm figuring out I'm
59:15 figuring out how to do this [ __ ] turn
59:18 these things on and off I don't know who
59:20 did you guys spontaneous spontaneously
59:22 arranged to have those guys show up that
59:24 was [ __ ] cool whoever did that rock
59:27 on Joker Brandon whoever's doing that
59:30 [ __ ] I'm digging
59:32 it um question make versus zapier so
59:37 zapier zapier's been around
59:41 longer um which means it's got a meteor
59:46 ecosystem of services that you can call
59:49 but it's to be honest it's completely
59:51 overwhelming there's like you know 5,000
59:53 different Services you can call um the
59:56 ones that are really interesting quite
59:57 frankly are call open AI to do AI [ __ ]
1:00:01 right or call you know mid journey to
1:00:03 make mid Journey images
1:00:06 um make is a it's a more modern
1:00:11 interface it's it's a more
1:00:14 um I don't want to say it's user
1:00:16 friendly I would say it's more visually
1:00:18 friendly because both of the automation
1:00:21 tools oh God damn it I just dropped all
1:00:23 my cards Dam
1:00:24 it um
1:00:28 any automation tool is effectively
1:00:31 programming they call them no code or
1:00:33 low code programming environments you're
1:00:36 still [ __ ] programming right you're
1:00:37 still doing I've got inputs and then I'm
1:00:40 going to send those inputs out to some
1:00:41 service and I'm going to get the result
1:00:43 back and then I'm going to take that and
1:00:45 I'm going to stick it in a database like
1:00:46 air table and then I'm going to do this
1:00:48 with it then I'm going to do that with
1:00:50 it you are still programming now zappier
1:00:54 I don't know if make has added this
1:00:55 zappier has added in some AI stuff where
1:00:57 you can just say hey make me a zap that
1:01:00 does all this [ __ ] and it'll sort of
1:01:02 build it out for you but you still have
1:01:03 to go in and configure everything so if
1:01:07 if you don't have that kind of geeky
1:01:09 Lego block tinkering kind of brain um
1:01:13 automation tools are going to drive you
1:01:15 [ __ ] crazy if you do you're going to
1:01:17 love them cuz they're incredibly
1:01:19 powerful and you don't need to use
1:01:20 programming language per se but you do
1:01:23 need to learn their quirky interfaces
1:01:25 and both make and zapier have their own
1:01:28 quirks and weirdness um we can't pin
1:01:31 question when someone's on stage so he
1:01:33 copying them here oh that's cool love
1:01:34 that hide your
1:01:36 keys I don't this my full key isn't
1:01:39 there but
1:01:40 anyway um show settings that thing's
1:01:43 still
1:01:45 weird maybe I used the wrong key did I
1:01:48 use the wrong key I know doesn't matter
1:01:51 um all right let me pick up my cards
1:01:55 well that was super cool
1:01:56 I dug having those guys up here we got
1:01:59 to do that some more I'll get the AI
1:02:01 ninja guy on
1:02:03 here maybe we
1:02:05 do just one night maybe Wednesday nights
1:02:08 are like guest speaker night that would
1:02:12 be kind of fun wouldn't
1:02:16 it uh uh uh so janky who was up there
1:02:21 sad I missed uh that was um Ralph Miguel
1:02:26 wait Ralph
1:02:28 Miguel Tech I
1:02:31 forget open mic night yeah it was pretty
1:02:34 good that's pretty good very fun
1:02:39 um all right let's see what do we want
1:02:41 to do I want to show you
1:02:43 something I want to show you
1:02:46 something that on its surface is
1:02:49 completely underwhelming
1:03:07 okay so what we're gonna
1:03:10 do is I'm going to play this here
1:03:16 video so
1:03:18 this if you're of a certain age will
1:03:22 look quite familiar this is
1:03:25 Doom so when I was starting agency.com
1:03:27 back in the
1:03:30 90s Doom was all the R so all of
1:03:34 our our web guys all of our Builders as
1:03:38 we called
1:03:40 them would play this they they'd work
1:03:42 till like 10:00 at night and then they'd
1:03:44 start little Doom
1:03:46 tournaments we went through more
1:03:53 keyboards but
1:03:58 so this is all looking familiar what
1:04:00 you're actually looking at
1:04:02 here
1:04:04 is there's no game engine behind
1:04:09 this there's
1:04:12 no um 3D
1:04:15 model with shitty Graphics rendered onto
1:04:18 it shitty with shitty texture
1:04:20 Maps this is being generated from a
1:04:24 diffusion model at 20 frames a second so
1:04:28 this is a guy playing
1:04:30 Doom that's being
1:04:33 generated at 20 frames a
1:04:36 second this door requires a blue
1:04:39 key now I don't know how they get the
1:04:41 logic in here I don't know how it's
1:04:43 doing what it's
1:04:45 doing but the implications of this are
1:04:47 [ __ ] huge because again back to this
1:04:51 idea that the tools we have today are
1:04:54 the worst they're ever going to be
1:04:59 so
1:05:02 imagine a year from now two years from
1:05:05 now you're going to be able to prompt up
1:05:08 a AAA quality game that is dynamically
1:05:13 generated from
1:05:15 AI this this is Hol de [ __ ] like this is
1:05:20 [ __ ] crazy so anyway so if you see
1:05:23 this if you're scrolling Twitter and you
1:05:24 just see this movie about Doom
1:05:26 the big deal here is this is not a game
1:05:30 engine this is not 3D 3D models and and
1:05:34 texture Maps this is just like uh when
1:05:37 we go to Korea and we type in our
1:05:39 prompts and it generates those images
1:05:41 really quickly that's what this is doing
1:05:43 at 20 frames a second so it's a very
1:05:47 simple game and I bet the only it's I
1:05:49 bet it's the only thing it's trained on
1:05:50 yeah absolutely pay like I said it's it
1:05:53 is it is an
1:05:54 underwhelming um
1:05:57 underwhelming thing on the
1:05:59 surface but it it it marks for me the
1:06:03 the first of these kind of
1:06:07 um first kind of these applications of
1:06:10 AI that
1:06:13 that
1:06:15 subsumes an entire way of generating
1:06:19 games in this case or
1:06:22 entertainment um so anyway that's that's
1:06:24 pretty bonkers ERS all right it's like
1:06:28 AI watching a movie on repeat and then
1:06:31 it generates that movie yep absolutely a
1:06:35 the memories yeah exactly yulu RX you're
1:06:39 hysterical what did yulu say is Mel is
1:06:42 Mel being
1:06:43 funny hold for a second I can't stop
1:06:48 drooling what she talking about are Mel
1:06:51 are do are you wanting to see me in my
1:06:53 in my little pink bow is this the thing
1:06:55 gets all
1:06:56 [Laughter]
1:07:06 excited oh oh I don't I don't think P's
1:07:10 enjoying the
1:07:12 bow I am very underwhelmed by this pay
1:07:16 you're underwhelmed by
1:07:17 everything of course you're underwhelmed
1:07:19 by this that's kind of dope
1:07:24 insane found the card doing during the
1:07:39 move I'm up for being
1:07:41 [Laughter]
1:07:42 underwhelmed Ralph Miguel to. tool
1:07:45 ralph. miguel. tools that's who we were
1:07:48 just talking to was
1:07:50 Ralph that's so funny I've never met him
1:07:52 before so I actually NE never met either
1:07:55 of those guys before before they're both
1:07:56 super cool so that's great whoever
1:07:58 arranged that um thank you for doing
1:08:00 that that was super
1:08:03 cool since we're doing demos check out
1:08:06 my rag but it will be underwhelming
1:08:09 across sessions is strength oh across
1:08:13 sessions is strength um Joker maybe why
1:08:17 don't you and I connect on that like why
1:08:21 don't you demo it for me so I can sort
1:08:22 of get my head around what it does and
1:08:24 then maybe we can put together a demo
1:08:26 either you can come up and demo it or
1:08:28 I'll demo it for you and and after I
1:08:31 know what I'm doing um but yeah let's do
1:08:33 that for
1:08:35 sure all right women women should School
1:08:38 Kyle on the correct way to wear my bow
1:08:41 wait how many [ __ ] ways are there
1:08:43 like is is this
1:08:46 wrong what what am I doing
1:08:50 wrong is it oh is it supposed to be
1:08:52 higher cuz now so I got to do my makeup
1:08:55 is that what this is to keep the hair
1:08:56 out of my Foundation I'm a little
1:09:01 moist I think I think this is the way to
1:09:04 wear it Corey I don't
1:09:09 listen let me let me educate you women
1:09:12 on how to wear a pink
1:09:18 bow no way it's too much fun watching
1:09:21 this car crash this this can't be wrong
1:09:25 this cannot be wrong
1:09:28 ladies you're just trolling
1:09:36 me man explaining how to wear a pink
1:09:42 bow now listen what Corey meant to
1:09:47 say it's perfect Kyle see Amelio's wife
1:09:51 is with me here I've got I've got
1:09:54 support I pay her for that support but
1:09:57 that's not
1:09:59 [Laughter]
1:10:02 important oh good lord all
1:10:06 right what time is it 8
1:10:12 o' let me
1:10:22 go where did you put I mods is that
1:10:27 where that was
1:10:29 [Music]
1:10:34 Brandon Brandon where did you put the
1:10:36 LTX Studio
1:10:39 contest is that
1:10:41 in is that an Irregulars might be in
1:10:53 Irregulars
1:10:54 Joker too heavy but less heavy is in the
1:10:58 comments this is this this is this is
1:11:03 what people think of
1:11:13 me oh yall are SW oh that's nice
1:11:16 Danielle very nice love it all right
1:11:19 we'll use that we'll throw that in the
1:11:21 library love
1:11:23 that there's the AL bear um
1:11:29 nice okay LTX Studio
1:11:37 contest okay
1:11:39 so if you're new to the
1:11:43 channel and Ralph or uh uh oh [ __ ] what
1:11:47 was the other guy's name um it was TJ
1:11:51 right TJ but what's his Tech friend uh
1:11:55 Tech Tech friend hadn't heard
1:11:58 of oh no it was Ralph Ralph hadn't heard
1:12:01 of LTX studio so LTX studio if you don't
1:12:04 know is this is this video creation
1:12:06 thing they're doing a contest right now
1:12:08 they just released some new features and
1:12:11 one of them is lipsyncing so you can now
1:12:13 put in dialogue AJ it was AJ not TJ
1:12:16 that's right thanks Joker
1:12:19 um AJ TJ and RJ there's too many J
1:12:22 people in my
1:12:24 life AJ not TJ AJ all right um so
1:12:31 they're running a contest right now and
1:12:32 the the deadline for this was like this
1:12:34 week but they extended it to September
1:12:37 3rd so if you have LTX Studio they they
1:12:41 they remove the wait list now so
1:12:43 everybody can get access to it and you
1:12:45 can do a fair amount of [ __ ] for free
1:12:48 for
1:12:49 now
1:12:51 and let's see we're thrilled to launch
1:12:54 our latest contest voice is Unleashed
1:12:56 showcase your creativity with character
1:12:58 dialogue and collaboration features
1:13:00 theme human characters discovering the
1:13:03 power of
1:13:04 speech first place 1,500 bucks 6 Monon

1:13:32 dates contest start date the 21st
1:13:34 submission deadline the 28th but that
1:13:37 has been changed to September
1:13:42 3rd um let's see which I think I thought
1:13:47 it was in here
1:13:49 somewhere yeah here contest has been
1:13:52 extended deadline is now September 3rd 1
1:13:54 p.m. Eastern
1:13:57 all right
1:14:00 so theme human characters discovering
1:14:04 the power of
1:14:05 speech so here's what we're going to
1:14:12 do I want to I want to show you there's
1:14:15 two other things I want to do before we
1:14:17 we dig
1:14:18 in that's my board meeting had a board
1:14:21 meeting
1:14:22 today went fine thank you for asking
1:14:27 uh uh uh
1:14:29 okay if you're new here and you're not
1:14:33 part of the salon you need to be part of
1:14:36 the salon assuming you want to hang out
1:14:38 with people that are optimistic about AI
1:14:41 curious about it building [ __ ] in it
1:14:44 building Community not sucking as
1:14:48 humans but if if you're if here's here's
1:14:51 the reason to be in the AI Salon if
1:14:54 you're one of those those people that
1:14:56 all of the other people in your life are
1:14:58 really annoyed as [ __ ] at you about how
1:15:01 much you talk about AI you need to be in
1:15:04 this group that we're your people if
1:15:07 they're like oh my God could you just
1:15:09 please not talk about AI again I'm so
1:15:14 second if that's what your friends sound
1:15:16 like you need to hang out with
1:15:21 us Sor could you please not talk about
1:15:24 AI again
1:15:27 a it's whatever with your stupid AI
1:15:32 oh I don't know about you all of my
1:15:34 friends talk like that it's [ __ ]
1:15:38 annoying um so go there that's our
1:15:41 website scroll down you'll see a thing
1:15:42 that says join our community so go join
1:15:44 the community um and it there's a really
1:15:46 simple six-step sort of onboarding
1:15:48 process it doesn't cost anything step
1:15:51 two in the onboarding process is
1:15:52 introduce yourself so go join right now
1:15:55 and [ __ ] introduce
1:15:57 yourself um being part of a community
1:15:59 like this is is going to be your key to
1:16:02 employment in the future is my um deep
1:16:06 deep
1:16:07 belief um all right so that's the first
1:16:10 thing that we're going to do second
1:16:12 thing that we're going to
1:16:14 do is we're going to dig
1:16:21 into this idea of being an agile human
1:16:34 we're just I think I think for the next
1:16:36 while we're going to keep talking about
1:16:38 this we're going to keep refining this
1:16:39 list by the way this this list is
1:16:42 not there's two new things in this from
1:16:45 the article that I wrote so if you want
1:16:46 to read the article that's the the
1:16:48 origin of where my head is these days if
1:16:52 you go to LinkedIn to my profile which
1:16:54 is at Kyle Shannon on
1:16:57 LinkedIn Andor search
1:17:00 for an article called rise of the agile
1:17:04 human you'll see an article on this but
1:17:08 what what those attributes right there
1:17:10 those those
1:17:12 aptitudes or this collection of
1:17:16 components of an aptitude of being good
1:17:19 at generative
1:17:22 AI is not about skills anymore more
1:17:26 skills are are quickly becoming a
1:17:29 commodity and they're going to be
1:17:30 increasingly a
1:17:32 commodity so if you're really good at
1:17:34 research well AI is going to get really
1:17:36 good at research it's already good at
1:17:38 research but it's it's going to get
1:17:39 really good at research if if what you
1:17:42 do is retouch photos AI is going to get
1:17:46 really good at retouching photos in
1:17:49 batch so the people that are going to be
1:17:52 valuable are are people that are good at
1:17:54 this stuff people that have high
1:17:57 curiosity people that are driven have
1:17:59 ambition people that think and work
1:18:02 creatively can can synthesize things
1:18:05 from lots of different areas people that
1:18:07 are good at multitasking and context
1:18:09 switching between different modes um
1:18:12 horizontal thinking being able to look
1:18:14 across different disciplines and see the
1:18:16 bigger picture critical thinking right
1:18:19 being able to like problem solve and and
1:18:22 think about things like why are we doing
1:18:24 this and who are we doing this for and
1:18:26 how do we want this to impact them and
1:18:28 then that allows you to use your taste
1:18:30 or your discernment and your judgment to
1:18:34 refine things and then the final thing
1:18:36 is adaptability
1:18:38 just I would imagine that it's at least
1:18:42 the next five years but it's probably
1:18:44 more like the next
1:18:46 10 we are
1:18:48 all on a regular basis going to be
1:18:51 confronted with the fact that
1:18:52 everything's changing How We Do stuff
1:18:55 today is not going to be how we do
1:18:57 things 6 months from now and 6 months
1:18:59 from then and 6 months from then so all
1:19:02 of this stuff I just I just want to
1:19:05 start talking it about and I want you to
1:19:07 start thinking about who are the people
1:19:09 in your life that are really good at
1:19:10 this stuff where are you on all these
1:19:12 skills where are you strong where are
1:19:14 you weak and start doing things to
1:19:16 improve these areas
1:19:19 so we
1:19:21 have this contest and and there's a a
1:19:25 tool here LTX studio and what that tool
1:19:28 does is you can just give it a prompt
1:19:30 and it'll write a script for you and
1:19:31 it'll make a movie but I want to I want
1:19:35 to explore some other ways to do it
1:19:38 so let's see let's go to LTX Studio
1:19:42 we'll start clickless cage God damn
1:19:45 that's a good
1:19:46 [Laughter]
1:19:49 name um let's see
1:19:51 LTX Studio
1:19:57 so the website is LTX do Studio you're
1:20:00 going to sign in with
1:20:07 Google
1:20:10 and you can start with an idea where you
1:20:13 just give it a prompt and it'll generate
1:20:15 [ __ ] you can also start with a
1:20:18 script that's what we're going to go do
1:20:20 and you can also start from scratch you
1:20:22 can just sort of build these components
1:20:24 one by one
1:20:26 um we'll have to borrow who Moved My
1:20:28 Cheese from champy I'm sure he's got a
1:20:29 copy yeah exactly that's good
1:20:33 uh send it before you know more than me
1:20:37 about rag at this
1:20:46 [Music]
1:20:48 point chat GPT came up with clickless
1:20:50 cage love it we'll have to borrow yeah
1:20:54 okay got that all right cool so we're
1:20:56 going to use this um I've got I I was
1:21:00 [ __ ] around with this earlier
1:21:05 and I created a couple of little scenes
1:21:07 so the the way LTX Studio works is it
1:21:11 creates a scene and then within the
1:21:14 scene are shots and it generates these
1:21:17 images and then you can now add in
1:21:21 character
1:21:22 dialogue and so each of these little
1:21:25 scenes you have got to be kidding me
1:21:27 this is too much work each of these
1:21:30 little shots I'm never going to get
1:21:32 through all
1:21:33 this has dialogue what I really need is
1:21:36 an office Genie I mean I mean office
1:21:39 Genies are real aren't
1:21:43 they not not burning down any awards uh
1:21:48 nominations uh voting right now
1:21:53 but all right so here's what going to do
1:21:56 we're going to jump over to chat
1:22:03 J and it's so funny I did something this
1:22:05 afternoon and it's it's not in my prompt
1:22:07 history and I don't know
1:22:09 why very
1:22:11 weird but what we're going to do is
1:22:14 we're going to
1:22:18 say I want you to act as an
1:22:20 award-winning
1:22:23 screenwriter that specialized
1:22:26 in 60c
1:22:29 films period I want to
1:22:33 create a
1:22:35 script for a 60-second
1:22:39 film with the theme
1:22:49 of human characters developing the power
1:22:53 of speech
1:22:55 then I'm going to
1:23:02 say give me 10 different
1:23:08 concepts that include one or two
1:23:16 characters have a dramatic
1:23:21 twist and have
1:23:27 humor or comedy at the core
1:23:33 period the characters locations and
1:23:36 plots should be unique and
1:23:39 interesting
1:23:41 and avoid
1:23:44 cliches and simple approaches
1:23:47 period don't be a dum dum
1:23:58 I love putting down my llms I I'm doing
1:24:01 it while I can because once they get
1:24:03 real memory and and and start taking
1:24:07 things
1:24:09 personally all right desert dialogue a
1:24:12 stranded Explorer and a talking Cactus
1:24:15 that's kind of
1:24:16 cool mim's first word oh wow that's
1:24:22 actually a great idea MIM is performing
1:24:25 in a
1:24:26 park when a noisy street performer sets
1:24:29 up nearby drowning his act the mime
1:24:31 frustrated accidentally mutters quiet in
1:24:35 an actual voice shocking himself and the
1:24:37 audience the audience thinking it's a
1:24:40 new Twist on miming showers him with
1:24:42 money while the street performer stands
1:24:44 silent a struck that's pretty
1:24:47 funny the Silent Partner the shoe
1:24:50 Whisperer all right so here's what we're
1:24:52 going to do
1:24:58 you should give the topic of finding
1:25:02 their voices yeah we'll do
1:25:07 that
1:25:09 okay all right so now what I'm going to
1:25:11 say to chat gbt
1:25:14 is analyze the concepts that you
1:25:19 produced and select the top
1:25:23 three based on how compelling you think
1:25:27 they'll
1:25:28 be to an audience and how much they have
1:25:33 a chance of winning a contest based on
1:25:36 that
1:25:41 theme so we'll let chat GPT actually do
1:25:45 the
1:25:47 selecting elevator Epiphany this concept
1:25:50 stands out for its unique setting
1:25:54 elevator Epiphany mim's first word it
1:25:57 picked that one cuz that's a really good
1:25:58 one I think we'll do mim's first
1:26:08 word desert dialogue this is the the
1:26:10 humor is absurdist combining seemingly
1:26:13 inanimate object offering advice The
1:26:16 Twist where the cactus
1:26:19 reveals it fabricated an oasis just to
1:26:22 entertain the Explorer adds a layer of
1:26:25 irony and
1:26:29 unpredictability
1:26:32 um if you were a judge which of the
1:26:35 three would you select and
1:26:45 why what's elevator Epiphany it really
1:26:48 likes that one
1:26:56 an introverted woman and an elevator
1:26:59 voice stuck in an elevator an
1:27:01 introverted woman starts conversing with
1:27:03 an automated voice oh this is kind of
1:27:05 cool she begins opening up about her
1:27:07 life realizing it responds with strongly
1:27:11 insightful comments The Twist the voice
1:27:14 is actually malfunctioning AI who then
1:27:18 asks for her phone number leading to an
1:27:20 awkward but hilarious situation
1:27:24 okay fine we'll do elevator Epiphany
1:27:28 fine oh look and and chat GPT is now
1:27:31 doing uh recommendations develop the
1:27:33 full
1:27:36 script okay great now write the full
1:27:38 script for elevator Epiphany period
1:27:42 remember that the
1:27:44 script is for a video that's only 60
1:27:47 seconds
1:27:49 long period
1:27:52 describe details about
1:27:55 the
1:27:56 woman the
1:28:00 elevator the visual
1:28:11 style and the Cinematic shots that will
1:28:14 be
1:28:15 used to augment the
1:28:21 story all right
1:28:27 we've got Maya late 20s early 30s she's
1:28:30 introverted but
1:28:31 expressive short curly hair and glasses
1:28:34 I like it nice and visual she has a warm
1:28:36 slightly awkward demeanor and wears
1:28:39 casual business attire a simple blouse
1:28:41 jeans and sneakers her eyes have a hint
1:28:43 of loneliness and curiosity Oh Maya her
1:28:47 body language is closed at first but
1:28:49 becomes more animated as she opens up
1:28:51 the elevator sleek and modern Chrome
1:28:53 panels
1:28:55 cinematic shots close-ups over the
1:28:57 shoulder okay let's see interior
1:29:00 elevator
1:29:01 day all
1:29:03 right so Dutch angle the elevator feels
1:29:10 tilted now we're still
1:29:16 writing so now we have a
1:29:18 script let's read
1:29:23 it so by by the way if I go back to this
1:29:41 list I'm gonna add to drive
1:29:47 bravery because I think I think we're in
1:29:49 a weird you know what we heard from
1:29:52 Ralph and from AJ
1:29:56 was that both of these guys are sort of
1:30:00 jumping in with both feet and
1:30:02 discovering entirely new ways of
1:30:06 working and I think that takes a little
1:30:08 bit of guts so um so there's there's
1:30:11 some guts to do this to jump into this
1:30:13 like entering a a storytelling contest
1:30:17 when you're not a Storyteller I am a
1:30:18 Storyteller but like I haven't one of
1:30:20 the reasons I started my company Story
1:30:22 vine is I don't I can't edit video I my
1:30:25 ADD doesn't let me do it I'm not I'm not
1:30:27 a good Storyteller if I actually have to
1:30:29 work at
1:30:32 it um definitely curiosity there's some
1:30:36 creativity here but notice that what we
1:30:38 did was our creativity in this case is
1:30:42 not creativity in writing the script our
1:30:45 creativity is in prompting chat GPT to
1:30:48 write the script and then curating it in
1:30:50 a creative way um we're going to be
1:30:53 multitasking we're going to switch over
1:30:55 to LTX Studio here in a second there's
1:30:57 definitely we're about to move into this
1:30:59 whole phase of critical thinking taste
1:31:02 judgment adaptability so
1:31:06 okay so let's copy script elevator
1:31:12 Epiphany oh I said we were going to read
1:31:14 this didn't
1:31:15 I visual design notes we'll copy all of
1:31:19 that then we're going to go to LTX
1:31:22 Studio we're going to go back out to the
1:31:24 the top we're going to say input some
1:31:26 text I'm just going to paste this all in
1:31:30 here all
1:31:36 right you can put in 12,000 words or
1:31:39 tokens or whatever right that what it
1:31:41 generated was 3,000 words so you're not
1:31:44 going to be able to put in a long script
1:31:48 here but you could do little scenes like
1:31:49 if you have a longer story and then I'm
1:31:52 going to say next and then LTX studi is
1:31:55 going to generate some
1:31:57 [ __ ]
1:31:59 um we can pick a style reference that's
1:32:03 actually really kind of
1:32:06 interesting so there's Maya distracted
1:32:10 woman she's not wearing a blouse why
1:32:12 does she have
1:32:13 a female Caucasian brown eyes shoulder
1:32:17 length dark hair so we want short
1:32:26 curly red
1:32:30 hair and
1:32:34 so the way LTX Studio works so there she
1:32:38 is she's got that okay let's see
1:32:42 clothing comfortable jeans so it didn't
1:32:45 it didn't capture all the [ __ ] from our
1:32:47 script so we want comfortable jeans um
1:32:55 business
1:32:58 casual
1:33:01 blouse sneakers is
1:33:05 fine here's her
1:33:08 voice Tamara
1:33:10 upbeat where's
1:33:13 Tamara work while you have the light you
1:33:16 are responsible for the no wrinkles
1:33:18 should merely indicate where smiles have
1:33:20 been
1:33:22 maybe Jace
1:33:26 TR Cade Tyler these are all
1:33:31 dudes where's the
1:33:33 ladies hey I'm ar oh my God in the
1:33:37 middle of every difficulty
1:33:40 no she's supposed to be a little nervous
1:33:43 right if one is lucky a solitary fantasy
1:33:47 can totally transform 1 million that's
1:33:50 an interesting
1:33:52 one Rachel
1:33:54 change in all things is sweet no she
1:33:56 sounds
1:33:58 boring
1:34:02 oops in the middle of every difficulty
1:34:04 lies
1:34:06 opportunity hey I'm
1:34:13 AIC uh uh uh I hope you're playing
1:34:19 along wrinkles should that's pretty good
1:34:22 wrinkles should merely indicate where
1:34:23 smile
1:34:24 all right we'll go with we'll go with
1:34:30 Mia let's see let's give her green eyes
1:34:33 I don't know what that changes probably
1:34:42 nothing okay
1:34:45 apply and
1:34:48 then aspect ratio 16
1:34:52 by9 we could do it as a
1:34:56 vertical vertical could be interesting
1:34:59 because we could play it on Tik Tok here
1:35:02 although I don't think we're going to
1:35:03 get all the way through this I'm just
1:35:04 going to sort of show you how we get
1:35:06 this thing up and running and then
1:35:08 making this actually good is is going to
1:35:10 be challenging let's go to I want to go
1:35:12 to this thing so what this is is this is
1:35:18 um a site that I use called my
1:35:22 mind. a or
1:35:25 my mind.com and it's just these cards
1:35:28 where I can take um Twitter posts or
1:35:31 whatever ideas and throw them in it's
1:35:34 it's like personal Pinterest or whatever
1:35:37 um but I've been using it to capture all
1:35:39 these different
1:35:42 um style references for Mid Journey so
1:35:46 what could be kind of cool
1:35:49 here is to find a style
1:35:55 that could be
1:35:59 interesting that's kind of
1:36:02 cool so now we're getting into
1:36:04 discernment and taste I I also kind of
1:36:07 like
1:36:11 this
1:36:16 huh let's see how this
1:36:20 does let's see
1:36:33 I wonder if I I'm going to screenshot
1:36:35 this whole
1:36:37 thing let's just see how it does I'm
1:36:39 going to screenshot all these multiple
1:36:46 images and we're going to drop it to the
1:36:49 desktop and then we're going to go back
1:36:51 to LTX
1:36:52 studio and we're going to
1:36:56 upload that
1:37:02 image so that's going to be our style so
1:37:05 that's going to now
1:37:08 render style reference intensity we're
1:37:11 going to have that pretty high cinematic
1:37:14 inspiration we'll do um oh that's really
1:37:18 cool look at this
1:37:25 I like it all
1:37:28 right let's move on so now I'm going to
1:37:31 say
1:37:47 next actually you can make money with
1:37:49 LTX studio now damn it you know what I'm
1:37:52 saying
1:37:54 so it only give us one scene the scene
1:37:56 begins with an empty elevator soft T of
1:38:01 Machinery I don't get the elevator
1:38:04 begins at
1:38:09 Ascent I don't get why it didn't give us
1:38:12 more scenes but let's see how many shots
1:38:15 it gives
1:38:17 us did it only give us
1:38:19 three oh no it gave us a lot of shots
1:38:22 within the same scene
1:38:26 empty elevator interior that's not
1:38:28 that's a Lobby
1:38:34 interior but it's not bad to start with
1:38:36 a
1:38:43 Lobby so the way this works is so you've
1:38:45 got a scene so it says Maya Johnson
1:38:47 experiences a humorous elevator delay
1:38:50 leading to a light-hearted
1:38:52 exchange with the elevator
1:38:58 voice
1:38:59 and let's see shot
1:39:05 editor that's a crazy
1:39:09 elevator and and there she she all of a
1:39:12 sudden has completely different
1:39:17 hair every seene every seene a different
1:39:20 hair
1:39:21 do continuity errors up the wazo okay um
1:39:27 that is not okay so here's what I've
1:39:31 learned about LTX
1:39:34 studio
1:39:35 um it it's not very good at interpreting
1:39:38 a script so I think what would probably
1:39:41 make more sense in this case is to
1:39:44 build build it from our script so we
1:39:48 would manually be putting in these
1:39:50 blocks the scenes and the shots within
1:39:52 it but if you've got something here
1:39:54 where this says empty elevator interior
1:39:56 with soft lighting and humming Machinery
1:40:00 we're going to go shot editor so that's
1:40:02 going to take us into this that's
1:40:03 clearly a business Lobby and not an
1:40:05 elevator interior so over here to the
1:40:09 left there's this thing called seed and
1:40:12 you can just keep hitting the give me a
1:40:14 new
1:40:15 seed so what I've noticed is
1:40:19 that it seems to do these random seeds
1:40:22 that sometimes just make no sense sense
1:40:25 so that's still not an interior
1:40:28 elevator and I think we're going
1:40:31 to empty elevator interior with soft
1:40:34 lighting I'm going to lose the and
1:40:36 humming Machinery because I think that's
1:40:38 confusing
1:40:46 it empty elevator interior
1:40:50 empty elevator interior with soft
1:40:53 lighting
1:40:55 and
1:40:59 controls for 20
1:41:05 floors see if that
1:41:15 helps
1:41:21 NOP you can never have enough
1:41:24 [Laughter]
1:41:27 seed I don't understand why this thing
1:41:30 doesn't understand what an elevator the
1:41:32 inside of an elevator so wait let's say
1:41:34 so we
1:41:35 say inside of an
1:41:52 elevator I think our
1:41:55 um our Styles [ __ ] it up so we'll
1:41:58 we'll we'll change
1:42:08 that there we
1:42:11 go that's sort of looking right but our
1:42:14 Styles okay so if your Styles Fu all
1:42:17 [ __ ] up what's cool about I'm going to
1:42:19 flip back to
1:42:20 storyboard so here's all this I can go
1:42:23 to Project
1:42:25 settings and I can go to style reference
1:42:27 I'm going to trash that and then we're
1:42:30 going to go video style there's a whole
1:42:32 [ __ ] ton of different styles here so
1:42:35 let's do
1:42:37 uh Cyber City
1:42:40 horror
1:42:42 Gothic futuristic we'll we'll try
1:42:46 futuristic and then you say
1:42:49 apply and it's going to regenerate all
1:42:52 of our shots
1:42:54 with this new
1:42:56 style so there you
1:42:59 go there's your wacky futuristic
1:43:02 elevator let's see let's see how how it
1:43:05 does with
1:43:07 Maya we'll go look at the cast casting
1:43:11 list there's
1:43:12 Maya she's looking
1:43:17 badass that's fine she can be a
1:43:22 badass and again it it's sort
1:43:26 of let's see shot
1:43:32 editor here it gave her long hair
1:43:47 [Music]
1:43:50 again she's got all sorts of weird ass
1:43:53 makeup on
1:43:54 all right so let's go let's go back to
1:43:56 the storyboard so let me show you at
1:43:57 least how to do the dialogue so we won't
1:44:00 have any dialogue where it's just the
1:44:01 empty
1:44:02 elevator and then in this scene you you
1:44:06 can say add character dialogue and so
1:44:08 you've got Maya Johnson so we've already
1:44:10 picked her voice and so we're going to
1:44:14 say
1:44:19 um let's see another
1:44:25 day
1:44:28 another
1:44:33 um
1:44:38 soulless 8
1:44:40 hours in corporate
1:44:51 hell and now so there so now we've got
1:44:55 dialogue and so now I'm going to say
1:44:57 generate
1:45:02 video remember when they felt made us
1:45:05 feel lucky for giving us access keys and
1:45:07 then yeah two days later gave them to
1:45:09 everyone I know that was that was pretty
1:45:11 nice
1:45:30 yeah this is LTX Studio that we're in so
1:45:34 this is what I would encourage you to do
1:45:37 is if you haven't played with it just go
1:45:39 play with it some people that want to do
1:45:42 video storytelling are going to hate
1:45:45 this approach because it's
1:45:47 it's it's heavy
1:45:51 meaning because you're controlling every
1:45:54 single shot and you're trying to get
1:45:56 every single shot to do something
1:45:58 specific and because it's
1:46:00 janky um it may drive you crazy like if
1:46:04 you just want to be intuitive and play
1:46:06 this is probably not the tool for you
1:46:08 but if you like this level of control
1:46:10 and if you want to do this if you want
1:46:11 to enter the contest I would encourage
1:46:13 you to do it and it could be the kind of
1:46:14 thing where you partner up with people
1:46:16 in the
1:46:17 salon um and you know put together a
1:46:20 group project another day another Sol 8
1:46:23 hours in corporate hell it's pretty good
1:46:27 actually
1:46:31 um another day another soulless 8 hours
1:46:34 in corporate hell let's move I can move
1:46:37 this right can I grab this and drag it
1:46:41 how do
1:46:42 I reorder my
1:46:46 scenes uh shot
1:46:50 editor no not
1:46:54 there
1:47:00 uh
1:47:05 storyboard duplicate
1:47:11 delete here ah okay grab in the upper
1:47:14 left hand
1:47:17 corner all right so we'll
1:47:19 go um sound effect
1:47:25 um
1:47:27 alarm
1:47:37 [Music]
1:47:50 buzzer let's see alarm
1:47:56 [Music]
1:48:03 all
1:48:05 right so that's
1:48:10 good let me see we'll generate that
1:48:16 video and then we'll do character
1:48:18 dialogue for this next scene of
1:48:24 oh
1:48:26 you
1:48:29 have
1:48:31 to be
1:48:34 kidding
1:48:43 me stuck
1:48:46 again question
1:48:48 mark so she always deals with this thing
1:48:51 being so we'll generate that video
1:48:59 so we'll have a scene where she says
1:49:01 another day another eight hours soulless
1:49:03 eight hours in corporate hell then the
1:49:06 elevator makes
1:49:08 a sound and then and then she says you
1:49:13 got to be kidding me so now while that's
1:49:17 rendering let's go listen to what
1:49:19 soundtrack it gave us
1:49:24 no so we're going to change that so
1:49:26 let's see sound Whimsical so we're going
1:49:29 to say
1:49:31 um uh oh let's say elevator
1:49:35 [Laughter]
1:49:42 music oh that's
1:49:46 [Music]
1:49:50 good okay that's good all right that's
1:49:53 going to be our that's going to be our
1:49:54 soundtrack and then let's hear her oh
1:49:57 you have to be kidding me stuck
1:49:59 again that's bad lady oh you have to uh
1:50:02 let's
1:50:04 see oh no exclamation
1:50:09 point
1:50:12 these
1:50:18 stupid AI elevators
1:50:28 you'd think the
1:50:32 future would suck
1:50:37 less all right would
1:50:40 suck
1:50:44 less all right so let's generate
1:50:49 that and now we should be able to see
1:50:51 these the first three
1:50:54 these first three things strung together
1:50:55 and it'll give us the background
1:50:57 music um and you'll get the basic idea
1:51:01 but so this is basically it so it it
1:51:03 generates you know scenes with shots in
1:51:05 them each of each of the shots you can
1:51:08 say I want a character in there or not
1:51:11 you can change the look and feel of
1:51:14 it you can change the voice of the
1:51:16 characters um one bug that I found is if
1:51:21 you render
1:51:24 dialogue and then change the voice after
1:51:27 that if you don't change the script
1:51:30 it'll keep the old voice that's just a
1:51:32 stupid
1:51:34 bug
1:51:36 um but
1:51:38 anyway let's all get going let's let's
1:51:40 let it render that last little
1:51:42 video and see if her acting sucks less
1:51:46 with better
1:51:49 words oh no these stupid AI elevator
1:51:53 you'd think the future would suck less
1:51:55 that's good okay so now we're going to
1:51:57 say
1:51:59 preview and so you'll notice down here
1:52:01 I've got these three are rendered and
1:52:03 then these three are just static meaning
1:52:05 these are just images so it's going to
1:52:07 give you like a story board for for
1:52:09 these things but it'll it'll have
1:52:11 movement for all of these and now it's
1:52:13 got lip
1:52:15 syncing um and then you can say generate
1:52:18 all and it'll generate all those in in
1:52:19 the movies but we don't have any
1:52:20 dialogue in there but let's watch the
1:52:23 little movie that we
1:52:25 made another day another soulless 8
1:52:28 hours in corporate
1:52:30 [Music]
1:52:32 hell oh it didn't give us oh no these
1:52:34 stupid AI elevators you'd think the
1:52:36 future would suck less it didn't give us
1:52:39 our
1:52:40 um sound
1:52:42 effect the Dum
1:52:45 dumang dang I like the music though
1:52:49 sound effect alarm
1:52:52 [Music]
1:52:55 regenerate video with the sound effect
1:52:58 maybe I needed to regenerate the
1:53:01 video Shank
1:53:08 [Laughter]
1:53:28 I assume it's not going to give it to us
1:53:30 here no but I think it does it out
1:53:35 here I'll try this one more
1:53:46 time the other thing that you can do if
1:53:49 you don't like the images that it's
1:53:51 generating in LTX Studio you can go over
1:53:55 to Mid Journey or to do and you can make
1:53:57 all your images outside of this and you
1:53:59 can import them for every scene and
1:54:01 it'll just animate the image that you
1:54:04 bring in so I think I think if I were
1:54:07 really putting one of these together
1:54:09 that's probably what I do is
1:54:11 is kind of storyboard it outside of LTX
1:54:15 studio and then manually just build the
1:54:17 story board another day another soulless
1:54:19 8 hours in corporate heal
1:54:22 [Music]
1:54:24 oh no these stupid AI elevators you'd
1:54:27 think the future would suck
1:54:29 [Laughter]
1:54:32 less so here's the other
1:54:37 [Music]
1:54:38 bit she looks different in every
1:54:46 scene you're almost out of computing
1:54:48 seconds uhoh you've got to pay money if
1:54:51 you want to make if you want make a
1:54:53 complete shitty movie you're going to
1:54:55 have to pay for
1:54:58 that all right so there you go there's a
1:55:02 teeny tiny glimpse of LTX
1:55:05 Studio One of the themes that is
1:55:10 emerging for me as I'm starting to think
1:55:16 about all these
1:55:18 tools getting more
1:55:20 sophisticated one of the themes that's
1:55:22 emerging for me is that these tools are
1:55:24 getting more and more
1:55:27 complicated
1:55:31 um and I think they're going to get more
1:55:33 complicated before they get more easy I
1:55:36 think they will get more easy but I
1:55:38 don't think that's going to be short
1:55:39 term I think that
1:55:43 um you're going to need some ambition
1:55:46 and some drive and some if you want to
1:55:48 actually get some [ __ ]
1:55:50 done you're going to have to dig in and
1:55:54 you know learn make automations or learn
1:55:56 LTX Studios or learn video editing and
1:55:59 just go put your piece Parts together
1:56:01 individually and then edit them some
1:56:04 version of
1:56:05 manually
1:56:07 um using chat GPT using
1:56:11 Claude um even though Claude has this
1:56:14 cool thing called artifacts which by the
1:56:15 way artifacts now and Claude if you
1:56:18 haven't seen artifacts artifacts are
1:56:20 pretty amazing so here's Claude is this
1:56:23 Claude
1:56:25 yeah so here I am in Claude
1:56:28 claw. and I can
1:56:32 say let me make sure I'm doing a
1:56:36 new start new
1:56:39 chat start new chat oh wait hang on
1:56:42 what's going on
1:56:44 here start new
1:56:51 chat why is this not
1:56:55 working what's happening
1:57:00 people
1:57:05 um make me a playable version of the
1:57:08 arcade game
1:57:13 Frogger so if you haven't seen
1:57:19 artifacts artifacts is this little
1:57:21 window here where
1:57:24 Claude is now
1:57:26 coding a playable version of the game
1:57:31 Frogger and
1:57:33 then it
1:57:37 should just let me play
1:57:45 it but it looks like [ __ ] okay and then
1:57:49 we can go back and tell it um
1:57:53 I don't see any logs cars or anything
1:57:57 other than the Frog please make the
1:57:59 graphics look like the original
1:58:04 game and now it's going to go create a
1:58:07 new version of this this capability used
1:58:10 to only be available to uh paid members
1:58:14 they made this available to everyone now
1:58:17 so if you want to get ambitious about
1:58:21 coding um you can start to experiment
1:58:24 with it here um but again this makes
1:58:30 okay this is going to be
1:58:33 impossible oh I did
1:58:38 it
1:58:43 yes
1:58:44 wait oh wait I
1:58:47 don't oh okay it [ __ ] up all right so
1:58:50 that worked
1:58:53 I mean this is horrible
1:58:59 but it
1:59:01 works
1:59:04 nice um if you haven't seen this before
1:59:06 I mean crazy [ __ ] Bonkers right um
1:59:10 that's artifacts that's there so like
1:59:12 even something like Claude which is just
1:59:16 a simple large language model is now
1:59:19 more complicated than a simple large
1:59:21 language model if I go to something like
1:59:29 perplexity perplexity is interesting
1:59:31 because it's somewhere between a large
1:59:34 language model and a search engine it's
1:59:36 good for doing research but they've
1:59:38 added this new thing called
1:59:42 Pages which is like this instant article
1:59:45 generator so I could say um
1:59:49 history of
1:59:54 80s arcade
2:00:01 games and so what claude's going to do
2:00:03 now is make us an
2:00:06 article with little researched
2:00:13 sections key games Space Invaders blah
2:00:16 blah
2:00:18 blah Technical Innovations cultural
2:00:21 impact
2:00:26 anyone else used to steal rolls of
2:00:28 quarters from the neighbors and take the
2:00:30 bus to the mall to play play Arcade
2:00:33 games no
2:00:35 losers uh uh uh so I can add in graphics
2:00:39 for each of these little
2:00:41 sections nice that
2:00:45 works
2:00:47 beautiful we're going to change that
2:00:50 though let's do
2:00:54 let's do that image oh wait we already
2:00:57 have that image let's
2:01:00 do that image there you go that's what
2:01:03 it looked like and I can now publish
2:01:07 this so this is now
2:01:09 published so I can copy this link I can
2:01:12 jump over to the AI Salon go to the AI
2:01:15 Irregulars
2:01:16 Channel pop this in here
2:01:25 it didn't give me a good graphic did it
2:01:29 just a
2:01:31 moment let's
2:01:36 see where is that
2:01:40 tab there
2:01:44 [Music]
2:01:48 no there it is
2:01:54 so I'm going to go screenshot this we'll
2:01:57 go we'll go make we'll make our own
2:01:59 graphic thanks thanks for
2:02:06 nothing so there's our graphic go back
2:02:10 to the
2:02:11 AI get rid of that graphic put in our
2:02:13 own damn graphic
2:02:24 bang
2:02:25 post so now if you go to the
2:02:28 AI Irregulars
2:02:31 channel that article is now there for
2:02:35 you to go look
2:02:40 at so all of these
2:02:44 tools that started out really simple we
2:02:46 started with chat gbt and it was just
2:02:48 kind of like this text box and it's like
2:02:50 just give me a poem and it would give
2:02:52 you a poem and it was really simple
2:02:54 they're all starting to get turn into
2:02:55 these multi-headed multimodal beasts
2:02:58 that do images and sounds and craziness
2:03:02 and I I think this complexity is going
2:03:04 to keep coming
2:03:06 so I feel like there's kind of two ways
2:03:08 that you can navigate these Waters one
2:03:10 is you can try to be wide
2:03:13 broad look across lots of different
2:03:15 categories of tools the other one is you
2:03:18 could just dive deep on any single tool
2:03:22 and probably spend a month getting good
2:03:24 at it or a year getting good at it
2:03:29 um
2:03:31 so there you have it that's the
2:03:34 Wednesday wisdom this was cool this was
2:03:37 a fun night it was really fun having
2:03:38 those guys uh hop on the channel and and
2:03:41 show off some stuff and talk so I hope
2:03:42 we do that some more so again thanks to
2:03:45 whoever made that happen that was super
2:03:47 cool I rode my bik bike to to town to
2:03:50 the arcade yep perfect Wolf Man Clint
2:03:54 nice that was Pages pages that I just
2:03:57 showed was on
2:03:59 perplexity Claude is the one that does
2:04:02 the
2:04:03 artifacts Standalone you know
2:04:07 applications um that you can you can
2:04:09 also publish those and share those it's
2:04:12 we're just in a weird like we're in this
2:04:15 weird inflection point
2:04:17 where the tools are getting more and
2:04:20 more powerful they're getting more and
2:04:22 more
2:04:23 sophisticated the research labs and
2:04:26 Engineers are adding more and more
2:04:28 features to
2:04:29 them
2:04:32 and it is not at all
2:04:37 clear what's a waste of time or not and
2:04:40 My Philosophy right now is nothing is a
2:04:43 waste of time and very little of what
2:04:46 you produce right now Will Survive
2:04:49 probably a year it probably won't
2:04:51 survive 6
2:04:53 months and so that one of the attributes
2:04:56 in my little list is
2:04:58 adaptability so the ability to just keep
2:05:01 moving keep exploring keep learning keep
2:05:04 building keep learning out loud and
2:05:06 telling people about
2:05:08 it um don't get too tied up in the
2:05:12 preciousness of anything you
2:05:14 build because it's probably going to go
2:05:17 away it's it's definitely going to go
2:05:19 away
2:05:23 so with that let's wrap this [ __ ] up
2:05:26 let's get on out of here with artifacts
2:05:29 can
2:05:30 you build wait you can build Frogger but
2:05:34 so
2:05:35 what well you can also I mean
2:05:39 like that that's just one parlor trick
2:05:42 you could also build asteroids or
2:05:45 missile
2:05:46 defense
2:05:47 um you can upload a white paper to
2:05:51 Claude and say say turn this white paper
2:05:53 into an interactive dashboard you can
2:05:56 upload a CSV file of your business and
2:05:59 say give me a a dashboard for scenario
2:06:02 planning for my business based on the
2:06:04 data in this
2:06:08 spreadsheet that what I showed is simple
2:06:10 and
2:06:12 stupid shouldn't dissuade you from going
2:06:15 and playing with that tool I I don't
2:06:18 know if you noticed what it did make me
2:06:21 a game it wrote the code and then put it
2:06:25 in a player in whatever that was 30
2:06:28 seconds now was it a game worth sharing
2:06:32 no but if I spent more than 3 minutes on
2:06:36 it you could probably do some pretty
2:06:38 sophisticated stuff but that's the whole
2:06:40 point my whole point is that the depth
2:06:44 of these AI tools is
2:06:47 significant and so you know you're
2:06:50 either going to skate across the surface
2:06:52 of these
2:06:53 things or you're going to find one that
2:06:56 you like Cindy [ __ ] loves LTX Studio
2:06:59 there's other people in the salon that
2:07:01 hate LTX Studio because it's a very
2:07:05 particular kind of interface and and
2:07:08 kind of
2:07:09 tool some people are going to love it
2:07:11 some people are going to hate it
2:07:13 so I think the game right now is play
