41. 11:15top two levels I've I've I had never heard of they make perfect sense to me but uh I had never heard of them [Music]
42. 11:43I tried to get create a game and Claw today where do you move it to actually play if you've got artifacts activated
43. 11:52Source Camp it should just play right there it's possible I've seen it sometimes where it writes it in a
44. 11:58language it can't um render so it'll just write the code and it it'll expect you to put it into a development
45. 12:05environment so when it does that just say no write this in code that you can so I can play it in the artifacts window and it should fix

70. 17:36are now chatbots ai with conversational language level two and apparently they're they're very close to level
71. 17:50two and like that might be coming level two is reasoners remember when I talked about reasoning is going to be the next
72. 17:57thing coming from open AI the uh what it called qar the qar thing that's reasoning apparently it is human level
73. 18:07reasoning meaning it's it's as good at problem solving as PhD level students in most categories what site is this this is just from
74. 18:17Twitter this uh Source here's Bloomberg Bloomberg reporting I don't know who made this little table um level three agents so systems
75. 18:29that can take actions so right now we're in chatbots then the chatbots are going to get really smart then the chatbots can take
76. 18:37actions then [ __ ] starts to get really interesting level four innovators AI that can Aid in invention so you know how everyone's
77. 18:48going it's just a probability engine it can't do any original thinking well that's level four and then level five this one's
78. 18:58mindblowing to me level five organizations an AI that can do the work of an organization so you've heard Sam
79. 19:07Alman and and some of the other um people from the AI research lab saying that imagine someday when you could have
80. 19:18you know the resources of a thousand person company that's what they're building toward that's what they're building
81. 19:24toward so crazy crazy so now let's go look at a tweet that has a little more detail about this meeting is it this
82. 19:39one yeah from chubby all right a new post from business what's business at bus Bloomberg
83. 19:53okay a new post from Bloomberg reports on a tiar system from from open AI a version of chat GPT was also presented which has new
84. 20:04capabilities from the wording it sounds as if qar will be installed in the new model so qar is the reasoning engine
85. 20:13open aai Executives told employees that the company believes it's current it's currently on the first level according
86. 20:20to a spokesperson but on the cusp of reaching the second which it calls re reasoners this refers to systems that
87. 20:29can do basic problemsolving tasks as well as humans with a doctorate level education holy [ __ ] now Mira moradi said
88. 20:41this was 2025 when we were going to get the PHD level things so this might not be eminent this might be this might be
89. 20:48you know 6 months out a year out I don't know um but holy [ __ ] it can Pro solve problems at p PhD doctorate level
90. 21:01education who don't have any access to tools right tools tools are what agents are that's level three at the same
91. 21:09meeting the company leadership gave a demonstration of a research project involving its gp4 AI model that open AI
92. 21:17thinks shows some new skills that rise to humanlike reasoning according to the person familiar with the discussion who asked not to be
93. 21:25identified reached for comment the spokesperson said open AI is always testing new capabilities spokesperson said [ __ ] off
94. 21:34okay however it is quite clear where the path is heading open AI says quite directly that tier three will be agents
95. 21:42for them according to the levels open AI has come up with the third tier on its way to AGI would be agents level four would be Innovations
96. 21:52level five would be organizations recently there have been more and more rumors that the imminent arrival of new models and as it turns
97. 22:01out this is not at all far-fetched if new model capabilities are already being presented I wonder how long it will take
98. 22:09them to release it after promising it to paying customers it's going to be a while Danielle um but you got to figure
99. 22:18we're on the cusp we're probably within two months of grock 2 or grock 3 um you know Claude for like you're
100. 22:28going to you're going to see a series of releases of Chachi BD competitors that take them Beyond gp4 Omni so I would
101. 22:39think at some point um open AI got to release something to keep up with the in the in the coming weeks yeah
102. 22:46exactly so anyway that's crazy isn't it what else did I put in my little My Mind here for tonight [Music]
103. 23:08oh this was interesting this was a chart on open ai's Revenue so 3.4 billion doll in ARR
104. 23:25annual recurring Revenue 55% of that 1.9 billion $ 1.9 billion 55% of open ai's revenue is
105. 23:40coming from US 20 bucks a month 21% or 714 million is coming from Enterprise customers so Enterprise deals 510 million 15% from the
106. 23:55API and then 2 90 million from GPT te which is the small business version of Enterprise right Enterprise I think you
107. 24:05had to have a minimum spend of 10 10,000 or you had to have 10,000 seats I don't know some ridiculous amount and then
108. 24:12team team is small business so small businesses 8% of their revenue API or sort of programmers writing other
109. 24:19applications 15% of their revenue Enterprise is 211% and little old 20 Buck a month $ 1.9 billion dollar from 7.7 Global
110. 24:36subscribers The the number is interesting there right because I think they're at 150 million maybe 175 million
111. 24:45seats people that are using it and 7.7 million are subscribers so that's that's you know down in the 5 6 7% range are paid paid
112. 25:01subscribers wait till this [ __ ] gets good GPT GPT 4 is free correct the current gp4 Omni is free it's a little
113. 25:09bit hobbled doesn't quite have all the goodies that the paid version does but it's it's plenty good to to be using the
114. 25:17free version I'm about to grock my loyalty away from open AI uh uh I'm telling you the the new the new CLA is is really impressive really
115. 25:31impressive where's where about s go oh there's sunno we can make songs you don't make pretty songs where's my my mind did I lose
116. 25:44it oh maybe it was here yeah right um levels up a pop this is popcorn material
117. 26:00what was this one oh yeah this is this is this is really cool yeah let's our
118. 26:22imagination once upon a time it took something special to capture our imagination [Music] that's because stories don't come from just
119. 26:34anywhere they're bu deep inside us and it takes Blood Sweat and Tears to draw them out that's what gives them a
120. 26:44pulse at least that's been the story so far now artificial intelligence is inviting us to just sit back and try to
121. 26:53enjoy the show what happened to the light bul moment where we find what we have have to say if that's what gives
122. 26:59our stories heart and soul why the would we give it away imagine artificial intelligence that's built for Hollywood this is
123. 27:09stunning visual AI that you direct to generate your vision and capture it perfectly seen by seen breathe life into the worlds that
124. 27:18only you can dream our stories will never be the same but why would we want them to be so what this thing
125. 27:35is is where's the here's the drawing so it's layers so like you have a background layer you have you know intermediary
126. 27:47layers you have a 3D object here that you can light and do all that sort of [ __ ] with it so it's multi-layered um AI generation where you
127. 27:55can you can lock down certain layers and just [ __ ] with other layers um I'm starting to see there there's an interesting
128. 28:09um is it a trend companies that are doing film making AI are are kind of smartly doing what these guys did what what what that
129. 28:21commercial basically said was sure you can just push the button and have it squirt out a movie but we're filmmakers we tell stories with
130. 28:29intentionality um uh Caleb from Curious ref Refuge who spoke at the salon last week um he was talking about how he's
131. 28:39training Hollywood people and basically saying you know we're here to train you to do the work you do but in a you know
132. 28:46in a different way um I think it's smart because I think if if these uh even LTX Studio which you know ostensibly if they
133. 28:57if they if their tool gets good enough it would it would you know replace filmmakers it it could potentially
134. 29:05replace filmmakers but even they are saying hey come on filmmakers you know you you teach us how you do what you do
135. 29:11and do it with our tool like learn to use our tool who this this is uh Odyssey I think is the name let's see Odyssey
136. 29:23ml Hollywood grade visual AI odyssey.
137. 29:45systems a render on how are how to experience worlds yeah so see how it's yeah it's doing all these layers
138. 30:23huh I assume all that drawing of that green [ __ ] is just marketing fluff but it still gives you a good idea of what's happening right
139. 30:36so AI generated layers where you can maintain persistence and control lighting of of the 3D
140. 30:52object huh that this is what we're building build worlds capture cinematic shots so that's pretty cool so there's

182. 39:04missing real humans talking and improvising not not if I have anything to do about it the future is US absolutely agree with that

187. 39:58together and putting on this event in Washington DC so one of the things I'd like you to think about
188. 40:09is um what do you want me to say what do you want me to say to Congress because here's what I'm thinking how we're
189. 40:17positioning the AI Salon is as you know a group of AI optimists in the face of you know Washington DC and state government fear
190. 40:27all of the legislation that's being created right now is being created out of fear not out of optimism and so
191. 40:34storyvine or I mean the AI Salon is about people that are like well let's just try this it's coming so why don't
192. 40:41we just play with it right and so what do you want me to tell them you know I like I would love to hear stories
193. 40:52about if you're Reinventing yourself or if you've if you're newly powered or you know some of the some of the people in
194. 41:01here that are um you know started out just talking in the lunchroom and everyone was making fun of them and now
195. 41:08they're running like AI committees things like that so just start thinking about that all right oh are you flying

238. 49:29tried this [ __ ] and in trying this [ __ ] we realized holy [ __ ] it's amazing I think telling those stories is
239. 49:36going to be quite impactful so I think that's what I want to do all right I was able to translate my medical nightmare

316. 1:03:50going to get good fast and when it does we'll look back on these times remember when it used to hallucinate
317. 1:03:57um okay do I have a way to educate people correctly on the limitations of AI
318. 1:04:16um it's a really good question I thought I had an answer for it and then as I'm thinking about it it's not the right answer let me show you
319. 1:04:42something this this three-step journey is the is the journey to AI literacy and I this sounds like a copout answer but
320. 1:04:57it's really not so much is changing so fast with AI that if I gave a class on the current limitations of AI by the time I actually
321. 1:05:08sign people up for that class teach the class I would probably have to change the curriculum because the limitations will have
322. 1:05:16changed so this cycle is is kind of like this first phase is learn the second phase is build and the third phase is is
323. 1:05:25tell people about it in the learn phase in the play first phase the reason I say to play is that you should be pushing the boundaries
324. 1:05:37hard just play with these tools push the boundaries try to get it to do stupid [ __ ] try to get it to do remarkable [ __ ]
325. 1:05:44see what it's good at see what it's bad at learn by playing what those limitations are and then once you start to have your
326. 1:05:55head around a tool or two or five whatever it might be how whatever space you're playing in then shift down into
327. 1:06:02this next phase where you kind of say okay I'm going to do a project or I'm going to do I'm going to write a book or
328. 1:06:08I'm going to solve a problem or I'm going to create a marketing plan or whatever it doesn't [ __ ] matter whatever it
329. 1:06:15is uh I have not lunatick I will um when you go into that mindfully create mode you pick a tool or two so
330. 1:06:24you kind of narrow you start out really wide in this play first area play with the tools figure out where the
331. 1:06:30boundaries are realize oh um Gemini and perplexity are actually good at researching things but they're kind of
332. 1:06:37shittier at writing and Claude and open AI are good at writing and open ai's got more subtlety to it but claud's got this
333. 1:06:45bigger content like you'll sort of figure out where the boundaries are then when you decide to work on a project pick a tool narrow it down
334. 1:06:55and if you've done this part right you'll you'll know which tool to use and then you'll know what the limitations
335. 1:07:02are so you'll be able to work within them and then as you start to build that thing and you realize oh it's not as
336. 1:07:08good as I thought it was at this or it's better than I thought it was at that that's where you can then put that
337. 1:07:14project out in the world and share with people here's what I built here's why it's cool here's how I did it here's
338. 1:07:20what was beautiful about AI here's what's bad about AI so I would what I I would actually encourage you to do is
339. 1:07:28rather than learn what the limitations of AI are teach other people what the limitations of AI are by playing first
340. 1:07:38mindfully creating and generously leading um there is a brand new Guild so if you haven't been in the AI Salon we have these things called
