45. 10:49Leland and if you're R to really dig in and unlock your creativity with these tools this is one of the one of the big things
46. 10:57that one of my big epiphanies with AI has been the reality of AI see I thought the reality of AI was
47. 11:13that it would make me really efficient you know like computers do so we can make more Goods for the man more
48. 11:26efficiently right cuz it's it does stuff super fast and you're like I'll be more efficient I can do more
49. 11:33stuff and then I very quickly got bored of that cuz I'm like well how much more efficient do I need to get and then what hit me
50. 11:47was the efficiency is cool and all but what's really amazing about AI is the creativity and its ability to
51. 11:58unlock your creative intentions and and creative doesn't have to mean making art creative can just be
52. 12:05creativity getting your creative juic is Flowing that's the real superpower of AI because what I find consistently again
53. 12:16and again and again and again I got to go change my shirt because I can't read um is I have an idea in my head small
54. 12:25idea little idea teeny idea just a just like te this big which in the olden timey days you know like 2022 and
55. 12:35earlier that teeny tiny idea would die a quick and Swift death because I'd have that idea and then I'd be like uh that
56. 12:42seems like a lot of work or uh I don't know how to do that or uh I got to go research something right and then that idea would be
57. 12:50like snuffed out like there's a little spark you're like ah [ __ ] that you Pat it down so it doesn't catch fire
58. 12:59what happens with AI is you have that little teeny idea and you're like squit there it is in the world you're like oh

60. 13:16like my my creativity is just off the charts anymore works the same way with me for creative writing yeah like like

83. 17:51needed to hear that so so we like you know even powerful people suffer from the the occasional or NeverEnding urge to hide from
84. 18:06life so one of my favorite sayings and it's it's it's a great saying I think it was who was it it was uh oh what the [ __ ]

86. 18:30anyway he said you'll stop worrying so much about how much people people care about you when you realize or what what people think of you

135. 28:03kinds three primary kinds of video tools there's Sora and Runway and Pika which are like text to video or video to
136. 28:14video th those are true video generation tools they're kind of janky right now they're going to get really good but
137. 28:21they're those are sort of true video generation then you've got tools like hey Jen and um D- which are more like Avatar makers you
138. 28:32take a photo and you take a recording or synthesized voice and it'll make the mouth move and it'll make it talk sort of sort of
139. 28:41human and so those are Avatar makers and they're pretty good but you know again they're going to get much better right
140. 28:47now they're still kind of janky and then invid lives in that in the third category which is they are assemblers of
141. 28:55stock video footage right so so you type up your I want a story about I don't whatever uh sailing uh to
142. 29:11Australia from Hawaii and then it'll put together it'll it'll go find stock video footage it'll write a script it'll narrate it it'll
143. 29:21find music or make music and then it'll assemble it all together in a kind of music video kind of away with with some voice over
144. 29:31um that kind of video is always shitty and cheesy and it it like like even when like human filmmakers put them together
145. 29:41they they're just kind of it's just kind of a Cheesy form of video um so it's making more cheesy video It's that kind
146. 29:49of video absolutely serves a purpose um but but it it is fairly thin storytelling now are the those things going to get
147. 29:59really good probably because what they're probably going to do is they're probably going to get more sophisticated
148. 30:05at sourcing video and they'll probably mix in true video generation into that you know sourcing of stock video so we'll [Music]
