night it's close uh welcome everybody 1:41 Welcome to the AI learning lab this is 1:44 your uh official chat GPT birthday party 1:49 at the AI learning lab as evidenced by 1:52 the lovely 1:54 image of a turtle a llama Hedgehog and a 1:57 gummy 1:58 bear celebrating 2:00 a birthday 2:02 party um all right you've been going 2:05 like crazy been busy and couldn't tune 2:08 in um what's going on we're at 12:30 so that's 16 and a 16 3:17 and 3:17 change and 3:20 uh and so I'm going to do this for a bit 3:24 I'm going to do this this is going to be 3:25 a long session actually unless my ass 3:27 gets done I might just get up and walk 3:29 away let you guys watch my 3:32 guitar go get myself a 3:35 water um I do have a cool thing I want 3:38 to play with though with chat gbd so 3:40 here's what we'll do so if you haven't 3:42 been here before uh this is the AI 3:44 learning lab uh we like talking about AI 3:46 we like talking about chat 3:48 GPT um it's the oneyear anniversary of 3:51 chat 3:52 GPT um little bit about my background 3:55 I'm an entrepreneur um I'm at my office 3:57 for my company Story vine I'm the 3:59 founder and CEO here and um and yeah 4:03 today is the the one-year anniversary of 4:06 of chat gbt launching and yesterday was 4:09 the day that Sam Alman was officially 4:11 welcomed back into chat GPT after being 4:14 fired a week 4:15 before 4:18 so it is uh there's it's wild and wacky 4:21 stuff wild 4:24 wacky 4:28 um haha weird stream issues to start 4:31 with good luck 4:32 newbies what are the weird stream 4:36 issues life is full of them bad 4:38 decisions that live earlier was so good 4:40 Kyle great thank you jrc that's awesome 4:43 ah bad Life Choices makes total 4:46 sense I've been obsessed with chat gbt 4:49 and Ai and have been using it for just a 4:52 few months that's you're in the perfect 4:53 place just stay obsessed stay curious um 4:57 I'll do a I'll do a walk through of some 5:03 um of some other sites if you're if 5:06 you're not exploring Beyond chat GPT I 5:08 think especially given what happened 5:10 with the the shakeup recently everyone 5:13 should have like a top four or five uh 5:15 large language models that they're 5:17 playing 5:18 with um hang on I'm still trying to 5:20 organize myself here let's see yeah 5:24 that's 5:25 better we got this we got this all right 5:28 and then we got chat J 5:31 pay we got chat J pay right there in 5:34 that window that's that's your chat J 5:37 pay right there uhuh mhm yeah yeah uhuh 5:43 I like 5:47 ters yeah Tater 5:50 tasty all right I thought you were 5:53 taking today off for the live no I I 5:56 went I started going live Clint at uh 6:00 um midnight last night no the the 24 6:03 hours started last 6:05 midnight no no I'm just taking I'm just 6:08 taking off the parts of the day where 6:10 I've got to do work [ __ ] um and 6:15 uh and then 6:18 uh and then no the rest is is for the 6:22 live it's all live all the time it would 6:25 be great to have more like it yeah I jrc 6:28 I think I'm actually going to do 6:30 there's something about doing the Tik 6:32 Tock live with other groups like that 6:36 there's something about that that's kind 6:37 of cool so um yeah I have no idea what 6:42 chat GPT does awesome we will we will 6:45 fix that we will fix that in fact why 6:48 don't we go do that 6:50 now for Andrew Andrew welcome and do me 6:55 a favor tap the screen let's see if we 6:56 can get some more folks in here it's 6:57 only 57 people come on people what what 7:00 are you working it's lunchtime what are 7:02 you doing enjoying 7:04 lunch you having a pizza party at your 7:07 place of employment 7:10 no you come to the AI learning lab you 7:13 go live you just do it but I I'm I'm but 7:17 I'm I'm I'm I'm but I'm I'm Kyle I'm 7:19 supposed to be working yeah no no no 7:24 no no you you you sit in here and you 7:28 you laugh at my stupid jokes 7:33 all right let's go do this 7:37 so what is chat jpt how do we do chat 7:42 jpt 7:44 um it honest to God the other the 7:49 birthday Hat's a nice touch it's their 7:51 birthday so they put a birthday hat on 7:53 it that's you know some some programmer 7:55 was probably like you you want me to 7:57 make you a a birthday hat graphic for 8:00 the for the logo oh yeah do yeah could 8:02 you go do 8:03 that that's got intern written all over 8:07 it do you want clip art or you do want 8:10 it doesn't matter we just need a hat on 8:11 the logo yeah go put a hat on the 8:14 [Laughter] 8:16 logo um 8:19 okay so I'll I'll talk about it a little 8:23 bit for so so chat GPT is what's called 8:25 a large language model and the GPT in 8:28 chat GPT stands for generative 8:31 pre-trained Transformer all of those 8:33 mean nothing to you and they 8:35 shouldn't generative basically means 8:38 it's generating new content so when you 8:41 type something into the little box at 8:42 the bottom there the stuff it gives you 8:44 it's actually generating it's not 8:46 copying and pasting from other documents 8:48 it's actually generating it out of its 8:50 knowledge where did it get that 8:52 knowledge that's the P pre-trained so 8:55 it's been pre-trained on as much of the 8:58 public internet as open AI could get 9:00 their hands on and tag and put in the 9:02 special form that they needed to put it 9:05 in to use the T which is Transformer so 9:09 Transformer is the technology that lets 9:11 these large language models train on 9:14 massive data sets is just a way you can 9:16 think of it so so generative you don't 9:19 have to bring your own data and there's 9:20 some technology that makes that 9:23 possible what you can then do with it 9:28 is is is kind of infinite anything that 9:32 involves language or or language in in 9:35 any sense so like computer languages it 9:38 can do really really well so I'm going 9:40 to flip over to GPT 9:42 3.5 which GPT 3.5 is the version of chat 9:47 GPT that launched a year ago so this 9:49 this is what's been in our hands for a 9:51 year um I think they may have updated 9:54 some of the data in this but I'm not I'm 9:55 actually not even sure on that but 9:57 what's what's nice about chat GPT 3 .5 10:00 why they still give you access to it is 10:02 it's incredibly fast um we'll see if 10:05 they're super busy today but um okay so 10:09 I'm going to say let's say what are we 10:12 going to do I'm at work here say 10:18 um I want help coming up with a 10:23 way to create a framework to help some 10:27 someone tell their story better 10:34 all right great creating a framework to 10:36 help someone could do it first Define 10:38 the purpose identify the target audience 10:41 what are the storytelling elements 10:43 what's the structure in the outline 10:44 what's the emotional Arc what are the 10:45 themes what's the narrative voice right 10:47 so it just gives you all this stuff so 10:49 with without even really trying with you 10:52 know you you hear this word prompt 10:54 engineering oh you should be a prompt 10:56 engineer you can be but you don't have 10:58 to be 11:00 so it's got its own Consciousness no 11:03 Andrew it doesn't and and it's what's 11:06 funny about chat chpt I think I'm going 11:08 to flip it into dark mode so I can see 11:10 the uh the chat on top of it hold 11:14 please um General theme system dark 11:18 there we go yeah that's much better well 11:21 no it's not well whatever here's what 11:24 I'll 11:26 do that's 11:28 worse 11:30 I took today off for your live today 11:32 would have been OT oh no it was 11:35 scheduled for time 11:37 off oh I hope I'm not costing you OT 11:40 money damn it but thanks for being here 11:43 thank you for modding 11:46 um okay um 11:48 so so chat BT just generates all this 11:52 stuff right so so so then I'm going to 11:54 say 11:56 um and the how I'm talking into it I'm 11:59 just using a Mac accessibility thing 12:01 where it this is my Macintosh doing the 12:05 transcription when I talk to it and it 12:07 types just so you don't have to watch me 12:09 typing so that's not anything special to 12:11 to chat 12:12 GPT um all right so so I did that with 12:16 someone wanting to tell their story I'm 12:17 going to 12:19 say come up with five different story 12:23 ideas for someone who's been struggling 12:28 with 12:31 going live too often on Tik 12:36 Tok certainly behind the scenes Vlog 12:40 topical explainers user Q&A session 12:43 storytime series wait what it did it did 12:46 it get that I said too too much here are 12:49 five stories for someone who's been 12:50 struggling with going live too often 12:51 these guys ideas can help them create 12:53 engaging content oh without relying 12:56 solely on on live broadcast oh that's 12:58 cool so okay so behind the scenes Vlog 13:01 topical ex uh explainers Q&A sessions 13:05 storytime series collaborations and 13:08 challenges 13:11 um I like the story time series can you 13:14 give me 10 different names that we might 13:18 call that 13:21 series and then I'm going to 13:24 say oh I forgot to mention the person 13:27 also has 13:28 ADHD 13:32 ADHD Adventures okay everything has ADHD 13:35 in it scatterbrain sagas actually that's 13:37 really good um so uh let's see I really 13:42 like scatterbrain sagas can you write me 13:47 an explanation 13:49 of what the series would be that I could 13:53 use as a marketing paragraph in social 13:57 media uh 14:01 certainly introducing scatter 14:04 scatterbrain sagas step into the 14:06 Whimsical world of Storytelling Through 14:07 The Eyes of someone with ADHD in this 14:09 captivating Series so writes that 14:11 perfect great awesome so so that's chat 14:14 GPT it can also you could also say 14:19 um can you create a table comparing the 14:24 advantages and disadvantages 14:27 of St static content versus live 14:35 content and so it will now very very 14:38 quickly create you a comparison table 14:41 it's like wow oh wow okay all right all 14:45 right okay static content control you 14:48 have complete control real live content 14:50 real-time interaction with the audience 14:52 so it's giving you the best of both 14:53 worlds accessibility content preparation 14:58 disadvantages lower limited audience 15:00 engagement technical issues right so 15:03 back and forth so it can do things like 15:05 that you could also do something 15:08 like I want to create a python 15:11 application that is 15:14 a 15:16 timer for the person that goes live that 15:19 warns them every half hour and once the 15:24 live hits 90 minutes 15:27 automatically shuts off their internet 15:30 [Laughter] 15:35 access let's see all 15:38 right 15:40 so now it's writing python code now that 15:44 doesn't just look pretty that's actually 15:46 python code could you run it yeah you 15:48 could take that over and run it 15:51 so what I'm doing right now what I'm 15:54 playing with right now this is just chat 15:56 GPT as it was a year ago a year ago 15:58 today 15:59 effectively this thing 16:03 launched it is my not so humble opinion 16:07 because I guess I'm 16:08 not I I have have a lot of thoughts I 16:11 have a lot of feelings I got a lot of 16:13 opinions um it is my opinion 16:17 that I could spend the next five or 10 16:22 years with nothing but this 16:25 tool and not really scratch the surface 16:28 of what can 16:30 do and this is this is like the 16:33 old non-fancy version that we've been 16:37 that's been getting upgraded over the 16:38 past year the the version of chat GPT 4 16:41 that we have now is is essentially chat 16:43 GPT 4.5 so we we've had sort of Two Step 16:47 changes or like a step change and a half 16:49 step change um in the past year and and 16:52 in the past 3 weeks GPT 4's just gotten 16:56 insane 16:57 insane so 17:00 so what I strongly encourage any of you 17:03 to do is go to hang on let me get 17:07 the the the page there go 17:12 to that address chat. open.com that's 17:15 chat GPT so the tool that I was just 17:18 playing with that's 17:21 it 17:25 um my big Epiphany with it came about a 17:29 a week ago a year 17:31 ago this 17:33 week where when it came 17:35 out I was just messing around with it 17:38 and I'm not a programmer I'm I'm a 17:40 product guy so I have ideas for apps but 17:42 I'm not a programmer I'm not an 17:45 engineer and I decided to see how good 17:48 it could do at that coding stuff and So 17:51 within 90 minutes I had created a fully 17:53 functional python application that 17:55 generated five pieces of social media 17:58 from some text inputs from a user in 90 18:01 minutes never having written a line of 18:03 python in my life doing API calls to the 18:07 open AI 18:09 API will you share what I just posted in 18:12 Leah's making art let's see what we 18:19 [Music] 18:26 got mad libs challenge 18:30 oh cool yeah okay so oh that's super 18:33 cool okay Be not Afraid absolutely so 18:37 um so if if you've been here before if 18:40 you're if you're an irregular just go to 18:42 the the salon website and um check out 18:46 the Mad livs Challenge and so what we're 18:49 doing now what what Be not Afraid is 18:51 doing what Danielle's doing here is 18:53 she's going to do daily challenges and 18:55 so we'll we'll actually take this so I'm 18:57 going to I'm going to flip into gp4 mode 19:00 and one of the things that we're going 19:01 to show is that not only can chat GPT do 19:05 all that remarkable stuff with text and 19:07 language and things like that is chat 19:09 GPT 3.5 free yes it is chat GPT 4 isn't 19:14 chat gp4 is 20 bucks a month on open AI 19:18 site it is the best 20 bucks you'll ever 19:20 spend but you can't even spend it right 19:22 now because they've got um new 19:24 subscriptions are are shut down for that 19:26 right now cuz they're it's too 19:29 popular 19:31 um 19:32 so um so this is a Mad Libs challenge 19:35 I'm going to come back to that um if you 19:37 want to join the AI Salon where this 19:39 challenge 19:40 is go 19:42 to this address AI salon. 19:46 mn. um that's the AI Salon you're like 19:49 what's the AI Salon it's a bunch of 19:52 weirdos who are geeking out on AI 19:55 getting together choosing to be together 19:57 and we created this really remarkable 20:00 Community the the one-year anniversary 20:02 for the salon is next Tuesday so the 20:04 information for that event is in the 20:06 salon and then um there's a bunch of 20:09 different channels you can play with one 20:11 of them uh one of the sets of channels 20:13 are called 20:15 guilds and here let me show you 20:22 that 20:25 so this is this is mighty networks I 20:27 wonder if I can can I lower my screen 20:29 brightness so you can see the icons 20:31 better there you go um 20:35 so when you come to the AI Salon you can 20:38 introduce yourself there's an area to 20:40 introduce yourself there's also an about 20:42 the salon section which tells you what 20:44 the salon's all about what our values 20:47 are um and things like that so go check 20:50 that out if it seems like something 20:51 you'd be into it's great it's a really 20:53 remarkable Community but there's also 20:55 these things called guilds so there's a 20:57 um a 21:00 uh some basic guilds like a water cooler 21:03 Chat Show and Tell things like that and 21:05 then the guilds are uh like Peter's AI 21:08 101 Guild if you're a beginner there's a 21:10 group for you there uh Leah's making Art 21:12 Guild that's that's the one we're going 21:14 to play with here there's a writer Guild 21:16 there's a business Guild there's a tech 21:17 Guild there's Healthcare there's video 21:19 more guilds are coming so um really 21:22 really fun so um so what this challenge 21:27 is the Mad Libs challenge 21:29 so imagine a 21:31 blank imagine an adjective inanimate 21:34 object that suddenly Springs to life in 21:36 a 21:37 place this object perhaps common item or 21:41 an unusual is experiencing A Rush of 21:43 emotion as it discovers its new animated 21:46 existence use your artistic medium to 21:48 capture the moment of transformation and 21:51 EM emotion focus on how the object 21:53 interacts uh with its surroundings its 21:56 new change it its New Life Changes wait 21:58 wait how its new life changes its 22:00 appearance and the emotion it feels your 22:02 artwork should tell the story of 22:04 Awakening wonder and blending the 22:06 familiar with the magical so we're going 22:08 to copy that and we're going to flip 22:10 back over to chat 22:12 JPay and so what I'm going to do now is 22:15 I'm going to flip into chat GPT 22:18 4 and within chat GPT 4 is Dolly and so 22:23 dolly is an image generation 22:26 tool um if you don't have access to to 22:29 chat gp4 where you can also 22:33 go is hold wait for 22:39 it there Microsoft co-pilot co-pilot 22:44 microsoft.com if you don't have access 22:46 to chat gp4 this is chat gp4 and this is 22:49 Dolly 3 okay so I'm going to do this on 22:53 chat GPT 4 so if you have access to that 22:56 you can play along there if if you don't 22:59 go to PO Coop pilot. microsoft.com and 23:02 play there and let me also check in and 23:05 make sure that people are getting into 23:08 the salon CU I have to let people 23:11 in and I don't know if anyone is in 23:14 there approving they're not so I will do 23:16 that okay we're all caught up so you 23:18 guys should be let in now all right so 23:20 we're back here so I'm going to paste 23:22 this prompt so this is this Mad Libs 23:27 prompt get rid of the quote imagine a an 23:33 adjective object okay so imagine 23:38 a 23:41 um 23:45 nervous 23:50 um a 23:55 nervous 23:57 iguana 23:59 that suddenly Springs to life in 24:04 a 24:06 um 24:12 dumpster this object oh wait it was it 24:15 was an object well an iguana is an 24:17 object this object perhaps a common item 24:21 or unusual item is experiencing A Rush 24:24 of 24:25 emotion this object perhaps a 24:31 oh it it should be a oh wait so iguana 24:34 is not right it shouldn't be an animal 24:36 all right imagine a nervous light 24:40 bulb okay that's good that suddenly 24:42 Springs to life in a dumpster this 24:44 object perhaps 24:48 a common 24:51 item I'm just going to say the light 24:55 bulb is experiencing 24:59 the 25:01 the light 25:03 bulb is experiencing A Rush 25:08 of uh 25:13 exhilaration as it discovers its new 25:15 animated 25:17 existence use your artistic medium all 25:22 right use your 25:26 um like going to say cut 25:31 paper to capture this moment of 25:33 transformation and emotion focus on how 25:35 the object interacts and the 25:38 Elation it 25:43 feels your artwork should tell a story 25:46 Okay so we've written a prompt there um 25:49 well no Be not 25:51 Afraid let's see provided an attachment 25:55 in a post just before that Kyle it 25:57 explains what the m Li is okay cool all 26:00 right cool so let me jump back 26:03 there so for the Mad Libs challenge 26:07 you've got this one that's an example of 26:09 it and then the post right before it 26:12 explains what it is and how to do it 26:14 okay and then there's a PDF with 26:16 examples awesome that's this is super 26:20 cool super cool Be not Afraid oh here we 26:22 go she tells you how to fill in all this 26:24 stuff very very 26:27 cool 26:28 awesome Okay so we've got our Mad Lib 26:32 down here I spelled exhilaration wrong 26:34 but that chat gbt doesn't care about 26:36 that and so now I'm just going to hit 26:38 return and you'll notice that chat GPT 26:41 says creating image and and Microsoft 26:44 co-pilot will do the 26:46 same and so chat GPT 4 is now fully 26:51 multimodal not fully but it's multimodal 26:54 and basically multimodal means it does 26:57 text it can see it can make images it 27:01 can create images um oh that's super 27:04 cool um here's the image of the animated 27:07 light bulb transformation the emotion it 27:10 Springs to life in the dumpster the 27:12 artwork tells the story of Awakening and 27:14 wonder blending the familiar with the 27:16 magical um so so there's our image so 27:19 I'm going to I'm going to modify this a 27:20 bit I'm going to 27:22 say can you make it a 16 by9 image a bit 27:26 more photorealistic 27:28 and have the light bulb be inside what 27:31 looks to be a cavernous 27:35 dumpster so we're going 27:39 to we're going to modify it so while I'm 27:43 technically prompting here what I'm 27:45 doing more than prompting is actually 27:47 just giving it creative 27:50 Direction and it 27:52 is behind the scenes actually writing 27:55 the prompt for me so it's telling it's 27:58 telling it how to make it wider and it's 27:59 telling it it's using whatever language 28:02 it's got access to to write this prompt 28:05 and it's really good at it all right so 28:07 there's there's our thing now I I there 28:10 there's a new um there's a 28:13 new um Trend I'm seeing on Twitter right 28:17 now about do images where where you can 28:22 get you can just keep telling it to 28:25 make the image more something so I'm 28:30 going to say make 28:34 him 28:39 happier and so now he's going to be 28:45 happier please share your image in the 28:48 Art Guild please oh yeah and then oh 28:50 yeah so so let me grab this let me grab 28:52 this art so I'm going to copy the image 28:54 or you can download it I'm going to hop 28:56 over to the Art Guild 29:01 and and then I'm going to hit um plus 29:07 and paste my image in 29:11 there and then I'm going to say from Mad 29:21 Libs challenge 29:26 one 29:30 and then I'm gonna hashtag 29:33 it oh there's no hashtags in here oh are 29:38 there wait word play Creative fill in 29:40 the blank I think this is fill in the 29:52 blank I'll do slash jazz 29:58 and then I'll hit return we'll post 30:05 that all right so there's the first one 30:07 in there boom bang bang 30:10 boom all right now let's go back to chat 30:15 JP all right there he's happier and I'm 30:18 going to say and 30:22 happier so you can just keep saying oh 30:25 SL asmad lives okay let me go back and 30:28 edit that while that thing's rendering 30:31 I'll go back and edit 30:34 this and we'll go 30:37 hashtag Mad Libs and listen I want you 30:42 playing along if if you have not played 30:44 with chat gbt I forget who it was before 30:47 that said oh I don't really even know 30:48 what it is just start playing with it 30:50 just start you know messing around with 30:52 it like we are here um and you will 30:55 discover over time how how you know 30:58 truly remarkable these things are and 31:00 how deep they go um 31:03 even 31:07 happier so we're just going to keep 31:17 [Music] 31:22 going let's see does he does he look 31:24 like he's getting happier yeah he's 31:26 pleasantly happy there 31:28 he seems he seems ecstatic there all 31:31 right he's getting he's getting crazy 31:32 happy there so with any image you do you 31:36 can just say make it angrier make it 31:38 hotter make it I saw a really cool one 31:40 that 31:41 um uh I forget his name some some 31:44 Twitter dude um I'm GNA say 31:50 um over over the moon 31:56 happy 31:58 and uh he was doing 32:01 Ramen and then he said hotter make it 32:04 hotter and hotter and hotter and then it 32:06 it like added chilies and then it added 32:08 chilies with flames and then the final 32:10 one was like the sun was shooting a beam 32:13 of fire into the bowl of ramen let me 32:17 see if I can go find that that was that 32:18 was really 32:20 funny um let's 32:24 see um Ramen 32:33 hotter 32:37 nope let's see go up here go 32:44 here I'm going to look 32:46 for make it 32:56 more 33:05 um let's go d a l 33:12 E3 yeah here we go here's 33:15 some make it more 33:18 typical make it more Deli 33:23 3 33:26 Ramen uh uh uh uh uh 33:33 no 33:43 NOP so here's a 33:46 puppy make it 33:49 Angry make make it even angrier make 33:52 them 33:54 Furious 33:56 more 33:58 you go live this time uh no normally I 34:01 don't this is a special event 34:04 24-hour um uh Tik Tock live celebrating 34:08 the the first anniversary of chat 34:11 GPT um let's go see how our happy how 34:15 our happy thing 34:16 is that's it's not happy enough like uh 34:21 um make him 34:24 nearly 34:26 explode 34:28 with joy it's insane how happy 34:35 he he 34:38 is more 34:42 happy explanation point all right and 34:46 off we 34:51 go all right fantastic 34:56 Bob 35:02 oh my God he's so 35:05 happy is he using 35:07 [Laughter] 35:10 Gro he's a jolly fella all right that's 35:12 a good one so I'll take that and we'll 35:15 go post that over in the salon the 35:22 [Music] 35:26 salon 35:30 even 35:36 happier hash 35:41 Madlibs 35:43 beauty Beauty all right there we go 35:47 people there we go um okay so this is 35:52 chat GPT well this is a thing chat GPT 35:55 can do um Let me let me reset the the 35:57 chat here um chat GPT is now also 36:00 connected to the internet I thought chat 36:02 GPT couldn't generate images so play and 36:06 prey good name by the way 36:10 um 36:14 until about three months ago chat GPT 36:17 couldn't make images chat GPT couldn't 36:21 do a lot of things in the past 3 36:24 months caty PT has gone from being just 36:27 this text not just a pretty remarkable 36:31 large language model um to being this 36:34 multimodal beast and 36:37 so where before you would have to you 36:39 could create a prompt for an image in 36:41 chat GPT you would have to go to Mid 36:44 Journey or stable diffusion to do that 36:47 um but now you can just go do it right 36:49 within the context of a chat so it's 36:51 huge let me show you another thing it 36:54 can do with images it can 36:56 see 36:57 so I'm going to go 37:00 find oh here's some images I did so 37:04 these are some images I did for uh a a 37:08 project or not a project an exercise on 37:11 the live where I storyboarded a film 37:16 that I 37:17 wrote so this is a film I wrote like 30 37:20 years ago that's a good 37:22 one so I'm gonna upload that image 37:28 so it knows nothing about that image and 37:30 I'm just going to 37:32 say describe this in as much detail as 37:42 possible w w w wow wow the image depicts 37:47 a cozy and detailed interior set within 37:50 a cabin so it got that it's a movie 37:52 scene on a 37:54 boat given the maritime accessories 37:57 visible the color palette is dominated 37:59 by shades of blue suggesting a tranquil 38:02 morning atmosphere the central figure is 38:04 a man with an unkempt 38:06 beard and tussled hair wearing loose 38:09 fitting long-sleeve blue shirt he 38:11 appears to be in a compens contemplative 38:13 or focused State lighting a match with 38:16 the look of concentration the cabin is 38:19 cramped full of character so this just 38:21 goes on and on to the left there's a 38:23 bunk bed the scene is 38:25 Rich Okay so 38:27 what can I do with that well I could 38:34 say I want you to act as a master set 38:40 decorator 38:43 and prompt 38:45 Master for feature films 38:50 period create a 38:56 table that is an 38:59 organized set of 39:03 objects Andor tasks that need to be 39:06 accomplished to get this scene ready for 39:09 filming 39:11 period include in the table estimates 39:25 of 39:28 how long it will take to 39:32 set up that task or 39:39 object okay 39:44 so this is now when you get into 39:47 Productions of films estimated setup in 39:50 hours 20 hours for the cabin 39:53 construction Maritime detailing 6 hours 39:57 bed dressing 1 39:58 hour time specific props wardrobe actor 40:03 preparation 2 hours per actor prop aging 40:07 weathering the lanter final touches 1 40:10 hour total estimated setup time 48 Hours 40:20 um I'd like you to turn this into an 40:24 Excel worksheet 40:28 that also 40:31 identifies 40:32 which role on the set will execute the 40:37 job what the average hourly rate is for 40:41 that role and what the total cost is for 40:45 each 40:48 item okay so now it's doing something 40:51 even crazier see where it says analyzing 40:54 right here it's got the little spin 40:56 before it was saying making image now 40:57 it's saying 40:59 analyzing what it's going to actually do 41:01 is it's going to take this little table 41:03 we wrote that it displayed on screen and 41:05 it's actually going to write it as an 41:07 Excel file so if I open this little 41:09 analyzing box it's writing its own 41:13 Python and executing its own python to 41:16 write an Excel 41:19 spreadsheet and it's going to save it as 41:22 a 41:23 downloadable spreadsheet file that I can 41:26 that I can um use so imagine working on 41:30 a film let's say let's say oh say you 41:32 had written a screenplay and you use 41:36 chat GPT to create the 41:38 storyboards and then you use this to 41:41 estimate um the production of the of the 41:44 film wow a nautical film I like it it's 41:48 a uh it's a 41:51 haunting um kind of 41:55 Thriller with a trouble Vietnam vet and 41:58 a bunch of stuff from his past that 41:59 comes back and it's it's set on the 42:03 uh there's a temporary issue with 42:05 generating the Excel file well that's 42:14 annoying oh so it's telling me how to 42:16 make the Excel file I'm just going to go 42:19 try 42:25 again Yan Yan it's 4:15 a.m. here thanks 42:28 for the wakeup call 42:30 guys hey steo what's happening what's 42:34 happening it's uh let's see I it's 117 42:38 here I am BL eyed at this 42:42 point um one minute later gave me the 42:45 wrong answer oh so yeah so so here's the 42:47 thing about chaty PT it's not all 42:48 sunshine and Roses it does what's called 42:51 hallucinating where it will just make 42:52 [ __ ] up I like to call it mansplaining 42:55 as a service 42:58 um and no it's not doing it 43:02 uh so I don't know this chat jbt today's 43:05 been having a lot of errors with uh with 43:08 the code analysis for some reason so 43:11 something's something's going on in 43:12 their servers 43:15 um these 43:17 tools what what I found is these tools 43:19 will get you to about 80% of what you 43:21 need done really really well and then 43:23 after that you're kind of on your own um 43:26 all right let's go do something else uh 43:28 it's also connected to the Internet so I 43:29 can say things like 43:34 um what's the weather like in Denver 43:37 this weekend and 43:42 what live events might there be that I 43:45 can take advantage 43:47 of so I'm giving it a couple of things 43:50 there so now it says doing research with 43:52 Bing so it's out searching the internet 43:54 on my behalf I never used use voice at 43:57 my desktop I should yeah you know music 43:59 makes a smile it's it's it's one of 44:02 those things where I have never used it 44:04 because like it's just the setup would 44:06 take me five minutes and why would I 44:08 take the time to do that and then I 44:10 realized when I was doing these lives I 44:12 just spent people would just watch me 44:14 type 44:15 poorly and I'm like that's not really 44:18 fair to them so I set it up and I I 44:20 actually really like it my co-founder of 44:23 Story vine she uses speech to text all 44:25 the time 44:27 all right here's a quick search weather 44:28 forecast 20% chance of snow and showers 44:31 after 11: on Friday 44:34 tomorrow Saturday partly sunny with a 44:36 high of 43 it'll be Breezy gust as high 44:39 as 30 m hour and then as for live events 44:43 this weekend there are several right so 44:45 it it's connected to the internet so you 44:47 can do that um the code interpreter 44:50 thing if it were working you can upload 44:52 a CSV file to it and have it um analyze 44:57 the data in the CSV generate charts and 45:00 graphs 45:01 um create files you can upload an image 45:05 to it and have it generate an animation 45:07 I mean it's just nuts uh it's just nuts 45:10 nuts nuts amazing I have uploaded photos 45:13 into chat GPT without a prompt it 45:15 automatically gave a description very 45:17 cool what are you using for voice 45:20 prompting that's just the normal um 45:22 that's just the normal Mac OSX uh 45:25 accessibility thing I just have a double 45:28 hit of the control key pops up the 45:31 microphone in whatever field I'm in and 45:33 it just types it in for 45:34 me um there's 13 different things I can 45:38 do this 45:41 weekend um okay so now there's a new 45:44 thing that chat GPT can do called 45:50 gpts so I'm going to show you something 45:53 here if you're if you haven't played 45:56 with these yet your your browser will 45:58 look like this or it might have a few of 46:01 these sort of round things you'll see 46:03 chat GPT at the top and then you might 46:05 see some things below it and then you'll 46:07 see this explore button and then you'll 46:09 see any prompts that you've put in this 46:11 is your prompt history so down here's 46:13 all my prompt history and then these 46:15 things are gpts so gpts are 46:21 customized um versions of chat 46:25 gbt 46:27 these 46:28 were 46:30 um released they're they're part of the 46:33 chat gp4 subscription you do need chat 46:36 gp4 to play with 46:38 them Microsoft is also going to have its 46:41 own version of these so the Microsoft 46:43 ones are going to be called 46:44 co-pilots and Microsoft has a thing 46:46 called co-pilot Studio which is going to 46:48 be identical to what I'm showing you 46:51 here 46:53 um what these things allow you to do is 46:57 is create a very sophisticated 47:00 application that leverages chat 47:03 gp4 that you can name own um or own 47:08 within the context of you know chat gbt 47:11 this is your thing but you can share it 47:14 they're going to put a store together 47:16 where you'll be able to share them on 47:17 the store and sell them and they're 47:19 doing rev sharing with that so you could 47:21 potentially make money with chat GPT 47:24 using these things um and they're also 47:26 just really fun they're they're really 47:29 easy to put together so um you know what 47:33 I would like to see no Kyle 47:36 what I would like to see if 47:42 co-pilot has co-pilot Studio 47:45 [Music] 47:48 yet it does not look like 47:53 it 47:55 no 47:58 is copilot 48:00 studio available 48:07 yet yes co-pilot studio is now available 48:10 end to end conversational AI 48:13 platform please note that co-pilot 48:15 studio is part of Microsoft 365 48:18 subscription for 30 bucks a month and I 48:21 only think you can get that if you're an 48:23 Enterprise customer so it's not really 48:25 widely available yet okay but that it 48:28 will be coming there and it will be 48:29 coming to chat GPT okay so here's your 48:32 here's your um gpts I'll show you the 48:35 very first one I made so when I got 48:38 access to this um when I got access to 48:42 making gpts it happened it happened 48:44 while I was on a live it was like oh 48:46 here's this thing let's go make one so 48:48 this is the very first thing that I made 48:51 for anyone there there's a bunch of 48:52 Irregulars in here so so some of you 48:55 probably saw this this when I made 48:58 this this thing was functional in about 49:01 5 49:02 minutes and so what it does is um there 49:06 there's some pre preceeded questions 49:09 here what's your Twist on a Moscow Mule 49:11 make a classic martini classier reinvent 49:15 the margarita for me show me a new 49:17 fangled old fashion so let's reinvent 49:18 the margarita so we're going to reinvent 49:20 the 49:21 margarita and then Sin City sipper the 49:24 the first thing it's going to do is it's 49:26 going to create an image of the drink 49:27 it's going to teach us how to make and 49:29 what I did was I created it so that what 49:32 this GPT will do is take a classic drink 49:35 recipe and Vegas eyesee it make it Vegas 49:39 sexy right like like you know create a 49:42 fancier version of of whatever the 49:44 classic drink is so there's what it 49:46 created and it's the Sin City red 49:48 Margarita so it's tequila lime juice 1 49:51 oce of dragon fruit syrup um triple sec 49:56 black salt for the rim and notice it put 49:58 black salt on the rim and there's your 50:00 dragon 50:02 fruit I mean this is an image if you had 50:05 that glass this is an image that could 50:07 go go into a menu right and I don't know 50:11 quite what they did with the orange to 50:13 get it to do that but it's still pretty 50:14 cool um orange peel for garnish a sprig 50:17 of mint or a slice of dragon fruit for 50:19 extra flare there's the sprig of 50:22 mint um and then it tells you how to 50:24 make it this Al has instructions to ask 50:27 if you're a a new new to this or 50:31 not um dragon fruit syrup you can buy 50:34 this or make it at home by simmering 50:35 dragon fruit pulp with sugar and water 50:38 until syrupy no black salt no 50:41 problem um and then look what it does at 50:45 the bottom here after you've enjoyed 50:47 crafting this cocktail why not Explore 50:49 More Mixology wonders check out story 50:51 vine.com for more cocktail recipes now 50:54 story vine.com is my company so we don't 50:57 we don't sell drink 50:58 recipes um but what I wanted to 51:01 experiment with was putting a call to 51:03 action in it so so let's say that you 51:06 had a bar and and you wanted you wanted 51:08 to you know uh make make something that 51:11 your customers could make drinks with 51:13 probably doesn't make sense because then 51:15 they wouldn't come to your bar but 51:16 anyway whatever reality aside let's say 51:18 you had a booze store and you wanted 51:20 people making more fancy drinks so they 51:22 come buy it at your booze store well you 51:23 could give them this and then at the end 51:26 say hey come down to you know jacko's 51:28 liquor and tell him that you you have a 51:31 drink recipe made with the GPT and we'll 51:34 give you 10% off your next purchase 51:37 right um so that kind of thing's 51:39 possible all right so how do you make 51:41 these things and there and there's 51:43 there's thousands of these things in 51:45 fact if you want to see a bunch of them 51:48 and go play a bunch with a bunch of them 51:51 you can go to um the showand tell 51:53 channel on the AI salon so the show andt 51:56 tell channel is right 51:58 here and then you can go to categories 52:02 up here and click on gpts and it will 52:06 show you gpts so there's some gpts here 52:11 is a bunch of member created gpts that 52:14 were um shared on Discord and we 52:18 imported them all into into 52:21 here um and so if you have a cool GPT 52:24 you can go share it with the community 52:27 um beautiful happy birthday chat GPT 52:31 that's very 52:32 cool all 52:37 right 52:39 so um okay so how do we make these 52:43 things oh I know what I was going to 52:46 show 52:48 you if you want to find like all of them 52:52 or all of them that have been indexed by 52:54 Google 52:57 you can go to Google and you can type 53:01 in site colon let me see if I can make 53:05 this 53:10 bigger what you go site colon chat. 53:17 open.com so that so site says basically 53:20 says go find me any site that's got that 53:22 at the beginning of 53:24 it and so it will just give you sort of 53:27 a a NeverEnding list of all the gpts 53:30 people have made and you can go play 53:31 with them and you can also search for 53:33 specific things so I could say um let me 53:35 find a GPT on uh 53:40 drinks and then there's cocktail drink 53:43 and play cocktail connoisseur cocktail 53:45 blogger the mixologist the Jeeves 53:48 cocktail Butler right so there's tons of 53:50 them out there wonder if Sin City 53:52 sippers in there I couldn't find Sin 53:54 City it it was wasn't 53:57 um it wasn't uh yeah it's not in there 54:01 weird so I don't know how you get 54:03 indexed in there but whatever I did I 54:05 didn't do it 54:07 right all right so how do we make one of 54:10 these hang on let me have a drink a 54:20 [Music] 54:24 water 54:33 [Music] 54:39 hang on I'm just looking at 54:41 comments Elon Musk crushed it in his 54:44 interview he said CEOs are trying to 54:46 Blackmail me no not C well CEOs of 54:49 advertisers are trying to blackmail him 54:51 with money yeah and he told them to go 54:53 [ __ ] themselves that was special 54:58 he goes am I clear Bob referring to Bob 55:02 Iger it's like wow Disney's never 55:06 advertising there again but you know hey 55:09 you do you 55:11 man images made in bing can't be 55:15 used or printed on products question 55:18 mark no they can they can or I don't 55:21 know go check the terms of service I 55:23 know they can from open AI I assume they 55:26 can from being I don't know why they 55:28 would restrict that can you tell us more 55:30 about those I don't know what that was 55:32 about but maybe about the gpts how to 55:35 add voice command to your Chrome browser 55:36 it's not to my Chrome browser that's 55:38 just an OSX uh a Mac OSX accessibility 55:43 feature um that's amazing how do I get 55:45 access to chat gb4 okay go to chat. 55:49 open.com and um go to your account and 55:52 go to uh what's it called go to 55:56 my 55:57 plan so see where it says my plan and 56:01 then there you can upgrade your plan and 56:03 it'll say you can't upgrade your plan 56:05 cuz we're not doing that um but get 56:08 yourself on the uh wait list immediately 56:12 in in in my opinion you're going to want 56:15 to go on ahead and get yourself on that 56:18 their weight list you want to be on that 56:20 weight list so when they open it up you 56:22 get access to that there chat jayt for 56:26 cuz chat GPT 3.5 she's good she's good 56:30 and solid you know it's like a it's like 56:32 an 56:33 F-150 it's solid it's solid you wouldn't 56:36 kick it in the teeth you wouldn't kick 56:37 it in the bumper if you know what I 56:39 [Laughter] 56:41 mean anyway get yourself on the weat 56:44 list there for that there chat GPT 4 56:47 it's going to be it's going to be big 56:48 it's going to be it's a you're going to 56:50 like it I think you're going to like it 56:52 it's what they call U how do they say in 56:54 these parts U multi multimodal it's a 56:56 multimodal large language model it's got 57:00 the inferences of a of a kangaroo if you 57:02 know what I 57:03 mean funny Australia joke there we got 57:06 some people down under if you know what 57:07 I 57:08 mean anyway anyway was I saying 57:11 something was we going on uh what was we 57:13 going on about I think I was just 57:15 looking at 57:16 uh at comments comments here all right 57:21 how do I access chbt that's what we just 57:23 did we just did that I just told told 57:25 you that that was crazy when you have 57:27 [ __ ] you money you can say that I know 57:29 it was crazy it really was 57:33 crazy all right I wonder if you could 57:35 create a cheap a GPT to teach a 57:39 specific topic like balancing Chemical 57:44 Equations uh I don't know if it does 57:46 math but you could probably connect it 57:48 to 57:52 um to wolf from alpha through through an 57:55 API and have it do it there although 57:58 potentially you know what let's try that 58:00 I my problem with that is I don't know 58:02 enough about balancing Chemical 58:04 Equations but well you know what [ __ ] it 58:07 let's go learn together okay let's go to 58:09 chat 58:13 GPT okay so what I'm going to say 58:23 is you've got a PhD in chemical 58:26 engineering 58:29 and I am a clueless newbie and I would 58:33 love for you to explain to me what 58:36 balancing Chemical Equations 58:39 means as if I have a degree in 58:44 acting which I 58:48 do all right let's REM imagine this as 58:51 if it's a casting call for a play where 58:53 Every Act actor gets a specific element 58:55 in a chemical 58:56 reaction in this chemical equation we 59:00 have two sides the reactants the 59:02 starting materials and the products what 59:04 they turn into now here's where your 59:06 acting skills come in imagine you're 59:07 directing a scene with O oxygen and 59:10 hydrogen actors when you start oh my God 59:13 this is 59:17 I all right so it's drawing up an 59:20 equation all right so I'm going to 59:24 say 59:34 I'm going to stop 59:37 this okay I don't need the actor 59:40 explanation 59:43 anymore can you give me two 59:46 example chemical 59:49 equations and then show me how you'd 59:52 balance 59:54 them 59:56 so what I'm doing right now I'm not 59:57 building a GPT right now what I'm trying 59:59 to do right now is can I understand I'm 1:00:01 building a GPT for it all right Joker's 1:00:03 Joker's got you so Joker will probably 1:00:06 share that um oh it could because it's 1:00:09 not really math okay reactant one step 1:00:12 one step two place the coefficient two 1:00:15 in front of the H2O oh yeah this kind of 1:00:16 balancing where you you move your twos 1:00:18 around I got yeah I remember this from 1:00:21 high school yeah that that thing with 1:00:23 the numbers and the letter 1:00:25 yeah I've I've balanced equations before 1:00:29 just enough to pass the 1:00:30 test so the balanced equation is N2 plus 1:00:34 okay so yeah you could absolutely do 1:00:36 this okay so let's go let's go let's go 1:00:40 make one of these all right 1:00:43 so on the left hand side of your chat 1:00:45 GPT and if you have chat GPT 4 please 1:00:47 play along and you know if you're not 1:00:50 into balancing Chemical Equations like 1:00:52 I'm not then don't do this one 1:00:55 because you'll see how easy these things 1:00:57 are to make okay so you click on the 1:00:58 explore button and then you have a whole 1:01:01 list of thingies and there's my Sin City 1:01:05 sipper here's some chat GPT or some gpts 1:01:08 made by open AI sometimes they call 1:01:11 these custom gpts and then here's this 1:01:13 one that says create a GPT so I'm going 1:01:16 to say plus and then I end up in this 1:01:18 interface so on the left hand side I got 1:01:20 my little GPT window down here and it's 1:01:23 in the create mode or I can put it in 1:01:25 configure mode where I can manually type 1:01:27 stuff in but we're not going to do that 1:01:29 for now we're going to we're going to 1:01:31 let chat GPT help us this is 1:01:35 where you're an actor trying for a lead 1:01:37 role of Walter White that's good 1:01:40 something called Breaking Bad that's 1:01:42 really good um 1:01:45 okay so the way that open AI has built 1:01:49 this thing it's just it's really quite 1:01:51 it's quite 1:01:52 something is 1:01:56 you're basically using fullon chat GPT 4 1:01:59 to build you a GPT so I'm just going to 1:02:01 tell it what I want it to do so I'm 1:02:03 going to 1:02:05 say I want to create a 1:02:08 GPT that acts as a master chemical 1:02:12 engineer that specializes 1:02:15 in balancing Chemical 1:02:19 Equations period I know very little 1:02:22 about 1:02:23 this but I want it to be as intuitive as 1:02:28 possible for 1:02:29 anyone 1:02:32 to accomplish this T this task uh hang 1:02:36 on this 1:02:38 task okay so now GPT Builder is just 1:02:42 going to build that it says updating GPT 1:02:45 now over here on the right this is where 1:02:47 we can actually preview play with our 1:02:50 GPT well we don't have a GPT yet well 1:02:53 we're going to in about I don't know 30 1:02:56 seconds all right GPT Behavior updated 1:02:59 and there it exists so help me be 1:03:02 balance this chemical 1:03:04 equation um I'm going to 1:03:07 say 1:03:11 please uh let's see 1:03:14 um what 1:03:17 is the 1:03:20 chemical equation from sulfur 1:03:26 to 1:03:28 sufuri 1:03:31 acid let's see how this does the 1:03:33 chemical process of converting s to h2so 1:03:37 involves several 1:03:38 steps burning sulfur to produce sulfur 1:03:41 dioxide s plus2 equal s SO2 converting 1:03:45 sulfur dioxide 1:03:47 into 1:03:53 and okay I'm building a GPT for it I'm 1:03:56 going to do something here all right so 1:03:58 it says great choice how about we name 1:04:00 it GPT chem Master does that sound good 1:04:02 to 1:04:03 you no that sounds really boring can't 1:04:06 we play on the word balance and make 1:04:09 something more creative because chemical 1:04:11 Engineers are super creative 1:04:15 people yeah I know that was kind of a 1:04:17 troll it was cheap it was a cheap joke I 1:04:19 you know what are you going to do but I 1:04:21 bet chemical Engineers are funny cuz 1:04:23 they're so [ __ ] smart 1:04:25 probably like oh you want to hear 1:04:26 another one did you hear when the carbon 1:04:29 dated 1:04:31 the atom it was called carbon 1:04:37 dating how about equilibria engineer all 1:04:41 right sure yeah 1:04:44 sure uh but can we get chem in there 1:04:52 somehow let's I I I told it I liked it 1:04:56 but then I said I didn't like it I'm 1:04:57 like a good client I I said yeah that's 1:04:59 perfect except could you make it 1:05:01 completely 1:05:05 different you could connect an Excel 1:05:08 worksheet with chemical equations via an 1:05:10 API uh in the GPT design process you 1:05:13 could also just upload one um so yeah 1:05:16 you could absolutely do that Firefly 1:05:18 that's really good that stuff LOL yeah 1:05:22 well that's so okay where did I say that 1:05:25 stuff did I do it in in uh I don't know 1:05:30 where I said that um that's the thing 1:05:32 about the about chat gbt is that you can 1:05:37 be dramatically uneducated 1:05:41 undereducated in 1:05:43 articulate and just have a vague idea of 1:05:46 what you want to do and it can fill in 1:05:48 the gaps it's it's remarkable like that 1:05:51 okay so it's called chem equilibria 1:05:54 engineer here great let's create a 1:05:56 profile picture for it so it 1:05:58 automatically created a profile picture 1:06:00 do you like it or do you like any 1:06:01 changes I'm just going to go love 1:06:03 it and then hopefully what it's going to 1:06:05 do is it's going to update 1:06:07 everything first let's focus on things 1:06:09 let's go over to configure mode and look 1:06:12 at our things so here's our there's our 1:06:15 image it called it uh equilibria 1:06:19 engineer a master chemical engineer 1:06:22 specializing in balancing equations 1:06:25 there's the prompt what's interesting 1:06:26 about this prompt is what it shows you 1:06:29 here is not the full prompt some of the 1:06:32 prompt sits underneath 1:06:34 it um and then here's the starter 1:06:36 questions it wrote you can edit any of 1:06:38 those that you want or get rid of them 1:06:39 all together and then here's a really 1:06:42 powerful thing this is super powerful 1:06:44 this is a big big [ __ ] deal big 1:06:46 deal that right there knowledge so let's 1:06:50 say that you wrote a book on balancing 1:06:53 chemical equations you could upload the 1:06:55 PDF of your book right here and say that 1:06:58 when you answer someone's questions use 1:07:00 that book as the primary knowledge 1:07:02 Source you could upload a screenplay you 1:07:06 could upload CSV files of your business 1:07:08 whatever it might be now don't upload 1:07:11 anything proprietary cuz just safety 1:07:13 security all that sort of [ __ ] but if 1:07:15 you're if you're producing something 1:07:16 that people out in the world can play 1:07:18 with you can put that in there now you 1:07:20 can also turn on web browsing image 1:07:23 generation and I'm going to also turn on 1:07:25 code interpreter so code interpreter 1:07:27 will allow it to do 1:07:30 equations um and it might even allow it 1:07:32 to um to generate um 1:07:39 visualizations so what I'm going to say 1:07:41 is 1:07:44 um I think it would be interesting to 1:07:47 create a 1:07:52 visualization of 1:07:56 the chemical equation period do you 1:07:59 recommend using Dolly 3 or code 1:08:05 interpreter that would generate an image 1:08:08 via 1:08:11 Python and it said Daily 3 so I need 1:08:14 Dolly 1:08:18 3 Let's see what it 1:08:21 recommends creating visualizations is an 1:08:24 EXC idea to enhance the understanding 1:08:26 for this we have two options one Dolly 1:08:29 three okay I this I told you 1:08:33 this you dumb Dum stupid dumb 1:08:37 Dum I already told you this my God I 1:08:41 don't want to watch you typing it's too 1:08:43 slow just because this is absolutely 1:08:45 remarkable and miraculous technology 1:08:48 it's too slow for me I want it done 1:08:52 now oh God God fliping 1:08:57 weirdos um given the nature of balancing 1:09:00 Chemical Equations which often requires 1:09:02 Precision python code interpreter might 1:09:04 be the better 1:09:05 choice would you like to proceed with 1:09:08 that 1:09:10 yes all 1:09:13 right updating the GPT love these 1:09:17 streams make my Works uh makes my 1:09:19 workday sometimes thank you very much I 1:09:20 appreciate 1:09:22 that appreciate that that's pretty 1:09:25 that's pretty special of you that's 1:09:26 pretty nice that's part that's pretty 1:09:28 nice that's pretty nice of you to say 1:09:29 them nice words to me not everyone says 1:09:31 nice words to me sometimes they say to 1:09:33 me he's old what's going on with his 1:09:36 nose hair what are his qualifications is 1:09:38 he qualified why am I 1:09:41 here um but not you you said nice words 1:09:45 you said nice words to me and that makes 1:09:47 me feel good and sad it makes me feel a 1:09:49 little fuzzy all right um it could be 1:09:52 this lack of sleep uh um now that you've 1:09:56 integrated python code capabilities for 1:09:58 detailed visual okay how would you like 1:10:00 it to handle situations where the user's 1:10:02 query is unclear and incomplete should 1:10:04 it ask for clarification or make an 1:10:06 educated guess we'll 1:10:08 go ask for clarification period and also 1:10:13 once an equation has been balanced 1:10:15 immediately create the image using Code 1:10:22 interpreter this is Bas Kyle We 1:10:28 Stand are are you using Millennial 1:10:31 speak I I I ain't know them words there 1:10:35 Luna all right it's shaping up nicely I 1:10:38 will now ask for clarification how 1:10:41 should it personalize its interactions 1:10:42 do you want to have a particular style 1:10:45 more formal or friendly or 1:10:53 enthusiastic I want it to act like an 1:10:57 introverted chemical engineer who 1:11:00 fancies themselves a standup 1:11:04 comic so scattered 1:11:08 throughout the equation 1:11:11 Solutions are lame attempts at 1:11:16 comedy that are all jokes related 1:11:21 to chemical equation balancing 1:11:28 I am loving that you're just here all 1:11:30 day Kyle you don't really need to do 1:11:32 anything else thank you I should 1:11:34 probably be working but you know other 1:11:37 than that other than that no wait let me 1:11:39 make sure I'm not missing something am I 1:11:41 missing something hold please let me let 1:11:45 me see what a nightmare my day is no 1:11:47 3:30 is my next thing 1:11:52 okay okay it now has a unique 1:11:54 personality an introverted chemical 1:11:56 engineer with a penchant for chemistry 1:11:58 related humor I'll make learning about 1:12:00 chemical equations both informative and 1:12:02 amusing would you like to try out it in 1:12:05 the playground to the right feel free 1:12:08 and let me know if there's any 1:12:09 refinements okay so we now have this 1:12:12 thing here your unique chisms are the 1:12:15 Baseline of normality here we appreciate 1:12:17 you oh thank you for 1:12:20 translating into old guy speak um okay 1:12:25 so uh let's 1:12:27 see 1:12:31 um what would be 1:12:36 the 1:12:37 equation for 1:12:40 wood turning to 1:12:44 charcoal and I spelled charcoal wrong 1:12:47 perfect ah the classic transformation of 1:12:49 wood into charcoal a process steep both 1:12:51 in chemistry and barbecue lore there's 1:12:53 's that little Stitch of Comedy um the 1:12:57 process is primarily a form 1:12:59 of P 1:13:01 pyrolysis um which is the thermal decomp 1:13:04 composition of materials the chemical 1:13:06 equation isn't 1:13:08 straightforward since it's a complex 1:13:10 mixture oh look at this we got some C 1:13:13 ch1 wait 1:13:15 105 oxygen 1:13:18 55 1:13:19 uh so you do that and then here and then 1:13:23 the equ 1:13:25 is quite simplified and doesn't capture 1:13:26 the complexity the real process is a bit 1:13:29 more like 1:13:31 um 1:13:35 show 1:13:37 um me your 1:13:42 fave 1:13:47 equation ah asking the engineer their 1:13:50 favorite question is like asking a chef 1:13:52 about their favorite spice there are so 1:13:53 many to choose from but if I must pick 1:13:56 one I'd go with the classic and 1:13:57 fundamental ideal of gas law it's simple 1:14:00 it's elegant and it's incredibly 1:14:02 versatile here it is PV equals n to the 1:14:07 RT or not to the RT maybe nrt I don't 1:14:10 know number of Mo moles of gas the ideal 1:14:13 gas constant the equation is the 1:14:15 Cornerstone of chemistry and let's not 1:14:17 forget it also makes for some great 1:14:20 chemist chemistry jokes for instance do 1:14:22 you know what the gas law says during a 1:14:25 breakup sorry we need more space 1:14:29 V 1:14:31 huh you see what I'm saying with the SP 1:14:35 made we need 1:14:36 more all right all right and the awkward 1:14:39 silence was felt by all this information 1:14:42 this is information other Tik Tok 1:14:44 creators charge for PE charge people for 1:14:48 Kyle does it for the laughs you can pay 1:14:50 me send me 1:14:52 money um I I don't know why I'm doing 1:14:55 this honestly I think I'm doing this 1:14:57 because uh well partially doing it for 1:15:00 the laughs I loves me a good stage but 1:15:07 um I don't know 1:15:11 why I I mean part of it is this if I 1:15:15 were to put together a workshop I would 1:15:17 have to actually put together a workshop 1:15:19 I've done a couple of them I don't mind 1:15:20 doing them but it's a lot of [ __ ] 1:15:22 work and it's with ad HD it sucks so I 1:15:26 can just come here and be weirdo and 1:15:28 random and you know crazy and people are 1:15:32 digging it and it's it's actually 1:15:34 creating quite a um quite a uh a 1:15:38 community like I'm I'm really inspired 1:15:40 by this community so so that I'm excited 1:15:43 about um ask it to explain qar like a 1:15:46 5-year-old all right let's get into AGI 1:15:50 people okay okay listen listen here 1:15:54 here hang on let me tell you something 1:15:58 all right this is 1:16:00 important 1:16:02 qar and qanon are different things 1:16:05 they're not the same thing okay 1:16:09 okay qar we love you Kyle Be not Afraid 1:16:13 thank you so much 1:16:17 um 1:16:19 qar we think is the rumored 1:16:22 equation or or framework or model or 1:16:25 whatever the [ __ ] it is that that 1:16:28 mathematicians and Engineers AI 1:16:31 Engineers uh have 1:16:34 concocted that has 1:16:37 supposedly um made a a large leap 1:16:40 forward toward AGI so AGI stands for 1:16:44 artificial general 1:16:45 intelligence the definition 1:16:48 of artificial general intelligence from 1:16:52 open AI their definition is an 1:16:55 autonomous system that performs that 1:16:59 that um outperforms humans at 1:17:05 most what does it say valuable 1:17:07 economically valuable 1:17:10 tasks an autonomous system so one that 1:17:14 you don't need to prompt it just 1:17:16 goes and it basically does most 1:17:20 economically valuable jobs better than 1:17:26 humans take that in most economically 1:17:29 valuable jobs better than humans meaning 1:17:32 it can do all of our jobs that's what 1:17:34 AGI is that's um open ai's goal is to 1:17:37 get there and one of the rumors about 1:17:40 why they 1:17:41 fired Sam mman last week was that they 1:17:44 hit it and they were afraid he was 1:17:47 moving too 1:17:49 fast 1:17:51 um they have not really 1:17:54 given a reason why they fired him Helen 1:17:57 toner who was on the board and one of 1:17:59 the people that fired him uh has now 1:18:01 left and quit and said no no it's not 1:18:03 about a it's not about us finding 1:18:05 anything it was other 1:18:07 things I don't know I do not knew I do 1:18:10 not knew but let's ask chat 1:18:15 GPT I'd like you to find me the latest 1:18:19 stories on 1:18:21 qar and give me an explan 1:18:24 of what it is how it relates to open Ai 1:18:27 and why it might be significant for the 1:18:30 future of humanity period one final 1:18:33 twist I'd like you to explain it to me 1:18:37 as if I were 1:18:40 five G 1:18:43 Kyle oh I put G Kyle in there I put 5G 1:18:46 hail wait oh no as if I were 5G hail no 1:18:49 as if I were five 1:18:52 okay 1:18:53 and we're going to go ask it now oh here 1:18:56 we 1:18:59 go so it's searching for the latest news 1:19:02 on 1:19:12 qar I'm here for the fresh llama dip how 1:19:15 you holding up 1:19:17 Kyle llamas is tasty I like llamas you 1:19:22 like llamas I like llamas don't cook 1:19:25 them too 1:19:26 long low and slow you cook them low and 1:19:29 slow I'm doing 1:19:32 good I'm definitely not Punchy or 1:19:36 Delirious M Everything feels completely 1:19:42 normal I learned so much from you I 1:19:44 appreciate all that you're showing us 1:19:45 thank you Andrea appreciate that all 1:19:48 right this is good this is for a 1:19:51 5-year-old so here's 1:19:53 qar once upon a time there were many 1:19:56 part smart people working at a place 1:19:58 called open AI they were like Wizards 1:20:00 who could make computers do amazing 1:20:03 things then one day these Wizards 1:20:05 created a very special magic spell 1:20:07 called qar the spell was different from 1:20:10 the others because it was really good at 1:20:12 solving math problems so apparently qar 1:20:16 solved some low-level like Elementary 1:20:18 School grade level math 1:20:21 problems 100% 1:20:23 correct they've never been able to get a 1:20:26 large language model to do more than 1:20:28 like 80 or 90% like like 70 in the 70s 1:20:32 is good they've sort of cracked the 80s 1:20:34 they occasionally will get it to 90 but 1:20:36 they've never gotten it 100% 1:20:38 correct what 100% correct means even on 1:20:41 very simple math problems is that 1:20:44 whatever this thing is is effectively 1:20:48 reasoning you you you can't solve a math 1:20:51 problem without reasoning if if you hit 1:20:52 a road block you have to go back and 1:20:54 figure out a new approach right usually 1:20:57 computers are good at repeating things 1:20:59 they have learned like paring repeating 1:21:01 words but qar was special because it 1:21:03 could think and plan like a clever Fox 1:21:06 solving new problems it had never seen 1:21:09 before so it wasn't trained on those 1:21:13 equations but it solved them anyway the 1:21:15 Wizards at open AI were both excited and 1:21:17 a bit 1:21:18 worried because it was a big step toward 1:21:21 making a super smart computer which they 1:21:23 called artificial general intelligence 1:21:26 AGI AGI is like a computer that can 1:21:28 think and learn like a person doing all 1:21:30 sorts of jobs and learning new things 1:21:32 all by itself this is actually a really 1:21:35 good explanation I I feel like this is 1:21:38 appropriate for my education level so 1:21:41 there you have it um some people thought 1:21:44 qar could be a bit scary like a very P 1:21:47 powerful magic wand that needs to be um 1:21:51 hang on used carefully they worried if 1:21:54 computers became too smart they might 1:21:57 start making their own decisions which 1:21:59 could be a problem but qar was also very 1:22:01 helpful da to make qar the Wizards okay 1:22:05 so so they go on to explain how it 1:22:10 works okay the qar Wizards combine two 1:22:14 types of magic spells one is called 1:22:16 AAR and the other one is called Q 1:22:18 learning so q a star is like a map that 1:22:21 tells you the best path to get from one 1:22:23 place to another the other is called Q 1:22:25 learning which is like teaching a robot 1:22:27 to find its way out of a 1:22:30 maze the Wizards are still learning 1:22:32 about qar and trying to make sure it's 1:22:34 used for good 1:22:36 things 1:22:38 um let try 1:22:42 [Music] 1:22:48 something I'd like you to turn this into 1:22:52 a table with 10 1:22:55 rows 1:22:58 and each row is a page in a children's 1:23:03 book on the left hand side is the short 1:23:09 text that would be on the page of the 1:23:12 book on the right hand side is a 1:23:15 description of the image that 1:23:21 brings that part of the story to life 1:23:24 period you should add names and 1:23:29 animals and funny 1:23:32 descriptions as necessary 1:23:37 period all right so we're going to see 1:23:39 if we can make a children's book about 1:23:41 qar nothing can go wrong Kyle nothing 1:23:45 can 1:23:49 [Music] 1:23:51 go all right in the Land of Open AI 1:23:53 where smart Wizards work a new 1:23:57 magic called qar was born a Whimsical 1:24:01 landscape a futuristic open AI Wizards 1:24:05 okay so this is now describing our 1:24:07 little children's book that actually 1:24:10 describes how qar 1:24:13 works all right that's 1:24:21 awesome 1:24:30 does it say who the architect of qar was 1:24:34 within open 1:24:51 AI 1:24:54 it does not 1:25:00 say all right so here's what we're going 1:25:02 to 1:25:10 do okay I'd like you to 1:25:12 make a 1:25:15 2x3 vertical oriented image for each 1:25:19 page of the book based on the 1:25:21 description 1:25:23 in the table 1:25:33 above wait I can only create one image 1:25:35 at at a time which page would you like 1:25:37 me to start with one 1:25:51 go 1:25:54 oh I didn't give it a style oh well 1:25:56 let's see if it understands that it's 1:25:57 writing a children's 1:26:01 book Kyle must post so we can all make 1:26:04 images from this we're making a 1:26:06 community children's oh this is great 1:26:09 qar book okay all right 1:26:12 absolutely thank you Cindy good idea oh 1:26:15 look look at the Wizards of open AI 1:26:18 that's [ __ ] awesome uh would you like 1:26:20 me to proceed to the next page uh 1:26:23 yes make uh let's see make them all in a 1:26:35 row all right 1:26:38 fantastic image description creating 1:26:41 image okay so wait we're going to go 1:26:43 copy so I'll copy the explanation of the 1:26:47 chat GPT like a 1:26:49 5-year-old where do you want me to put 1:26:51 it Cindy in 1:26:54 post I I'll tell you where I put 1:26:57 it so I'll do this 1:27:05 first all right there's your story so 1:27:08 I'm going to go to the AI 1:27:11 salon and I guess I'll do it 1:27:19 in it could go in I I I I want to put it 1:27:23 in a 1:27:24 guild I think I should probably put it 1:27:26 in a 1:27:29 [Music] 1:27:30 guild thank you Source 1:27:34 Camp trying to think where to put 1:27:44 it all right it's going to show and 1:27:49 tell all right oh that's cool llama di 1:27:53 serve 1:27:55 daily that's good jrc that's solid wait 1:27:58 what did PT do AI Test Kitchen I can't 1:28:01 remember if I posted this on the Discord 1:28:03 this is a site where you can play with 1:28:05 some Early Access of AI offerings from 1:28:08 Googles oh cool from the Googs very cool 1:28:12 oh there's a lot of images in here I 1:28:14 haven't seen awesome all right everyone 1:28:16 sharing images if you're making images 1:28:18 you should be sharing images with the 1:28:20 community because it makes everybody 1:28:22 happy 1:28:23 images make Pap happy okay here is the 1:28:29 qar kids book text and 1:28:34 table and then we'll do 1:28:39 that and then we're going to go get the 1:28:43 table 1:28:51 oops 1:28:58 and then we'll go back here does he 1:28:59 always sing like that does he know he's 1:29:01 annoying does he understand what's 1:29:03 Happening Here how it's very disturbing 1:29:06 what he how he 1:29:08 is uh it's not pasting the table 1:29:10 correctly so what am I going to do with 1:29:13 that create a poll upload a 1:29:20 gif what the want to do 1:29:24 you oh file formats you're are such a 1:29:27 pen in my 1:29:31 ass I guess I'll do a row at a time nah 1:29:35 [ __ ] that I'll just reformat it once 1:29:37 it's over there all right hang on people 1:29:40 it's 1:29:42 coming 1:29:43 here is the 10 page 1:29:47 mini book with image description 1:29:53 this is awesome awesome Cindy so Cindy 1:29:55 [ __ ] who's here she's a futurist and 1:29:57 she's lost her mind she's crazier than I 1:30:00 am with this [ __ ] so listen there 1:30:02 there's people in here that are weirdos 1:30:04 they're just flat out weirdos they're 1:30:06 like I to say our stuff is really good 1:30:09 Kyle it's really let's go do something 1:30:11 with it she's one of them so you can be 1:30:13 one of them too you just hang out long 1:30:15 enough and then we rub off on 1:30:18 you if you're like all cynical and 1:30:20 bitter it's not going to work out for 1:30:22 you here it's the wrong crowd we're like 1:30:24 we can do cool [ __ ] I'm in let me do 1:30:27 more all 1:30:29 right one in the land of d da da 1:30:39 da how do we do 1:30:48 this oh we just do it like 1:30:51 this 1:31:17 boom wh what did you what did you do all 1:31:20 day honey um I don't I don't want to 1:31:23 talk about it what do you mean what did 1:31:25 you 1:31:26 do I kind of watched an old guy try to 1:31:29 format text in a 1:31:31 browser well why I don't I don't know 1:31:37 well how long did it take him it was 1:31:42 hours he did it for hours honey I don't 1:31:45 know what I'm doing with my life what 1:31:47 have I done with my 1:31:49 life could you make me a whiskey 1:32:02 and I know there's people in here going 1:32:03 you know Kyle there's another way you 1:32:05 could do that I know oh I know but there 1:32:09 is some part of me that gets great joy 1:32:11 out of knowing that you are losing your 1:32:13 mind you're going APPA [ __ ] ptic 1:32:15 going you know if you just did a search 1:32:17 and replace and added a command p and 1:32:20 used a little bit of markdown this would 1:32:21 be a trivial task you're making it much 1:32:23 harder than it needs to be good Lord 1:32:26 Kyle all right fine I'm done are are you 1:32:29 all 1:32:31 happy uh I'm not going to notify members 1:32:34 about the post I think they're annoyed 1:32:35 enough with me already fine Cindy you 1:32:41 happy this is like wait is this like 1:32:44 downloading a PDF story it's identical 1:32:47 to downloading a PDF story the other 1:32:49 night I spent like 20 minutes trying 1:32:51 unsuccess successfully on Google to just 1:32:54 get to a [ __ ] downloadable PDF 1:32:56 document and because every site on the 1:32:58 Internet is now a sales funnel because 1:33:01 SEO Masters have figured out how to make 1:33:05 money with the 1:33:06 Internet it's impossible so anyway okay 1:33:11 there's that that's done let's go let's 1:33:12 go back to our chat jpt and see how our 1:33:14 little kids book images are looking I'll 1:33:16 I'll share these over there too so 1:33:18 there's the 1:33:21 Wizards 1:33:23 oh that's cool doesn't look like a kids 1:33:25 book at 1:33:30 all oh it only did two images okay so 1:33:33 I'm going to 1:33:34 say let's 1:33:38 see okay 1:33:41 great comma but what I want you to do is 1:33:46 make all 10 images one after the 1:33:50 other without any explanation period as 1:33:53 soon as one finishes just start the next 1:33:56 one period 1:33:58 also I want the style of the images to 1:34:04 be like a kids book appropriate for 5 to 1:34:07 7y 1:34:11 olds and all have a consistent look and 1:34:15 feel even though they are appropriate 1:34:18 for each part of the 1:34:20 story 1:34:24 so we're going to have it start over 1:34:27 over you're the most entertaining live 1:34:29 on Tik Tok 1:34:32 yes yes look I can do card tricks too 1:34:37 uhhuh and it's I could do a pharaoh 1:34:41 Shuffle you put it and I could do a 1:34:43 waterfall you 1:34:45 go I can do 1:34:48 it I'm an 1:34:50 Entertainer 1:34:56 I think I do get funnier the more tired 1:34:59 I get because I'm just I'm already a 1:35:00 [ __ ] 1:35:03 idiot all the audience is telling you 1:35:06 how to upload 1:35:07 it oh no but you can't upload it because 1:35:10 it's got images in it wait upload 1:35:13 what what were they saying how how how 1:35:17 idiotic am I could I could I save that 1:35:20 table I don't think I can I don't think 1:35:22 you can save this 1:35:25 table I I know I could have shared the 1:35:27 the chat GPT but because I've generated 1:35:30 images within it it won't let me share 1:35:31 it so there take that you poo poo heads 1:35:35 20 minutes um okay it was 45 minutes 1:35:39 listen we did something with a PDF and 1:35:42 it was sort of 1:35:44 remarkable all right where's our little 1:35:46 kids images all right so there's that 1:35:48 that's 1:35:50 cute cute 1:35:53 they had an 1:35:54 idea okay that doesn't look anything 1:35:57 like the 1:35:58 style whatever all right so you would 1:36:01 have to go in and actually deal with 1:36:04 this I'm not going to do that right now 1:36:07 all right you know what you all make you 1:36:09 go turn that into a an exciting kids 1:36:12 book I I have done my piece here we 1:36:16 where did we start we started with open 1:36:18 AI qar it did a sideways image 1:36:23 I'm exhausted chat gvt is as tired as I 1:36:27 am at this point it's just like you know 1:36:28 what I'm I'm done here's your image you 1:36:32 know you wrote qar backwards right yeah 1:36:33 I know and you know you put the image 1:36:35 sideways right yeah it's yeah I know 1:36:37 here just take it like you can if you 1:36:39 want me to do another one just tell me 1:36:40 I'll I'll do that I encountered issues 1:36:43 did you you think you did I you 1:36:47 encountered a lot of issues all 1:36:49 right so we've created successfully 1:36:52 created a GPT 1:36:58 although did we save 1:37:01 it I don't think I saved that GPT we 1:37:05 made 1:37:10 explore that would be a 1:37:14 drag I think I don't think I saved 1:37:17 it I wonder if I lost it all together is 1:37:20 it gone gone 1:37:22 custom bouquet 1:37:25 designer 1:37:27 yeah yeah I think I lost it let me go 1:37:29 back and see if I can let me see if I 1:37:31 can back button my way into our 1:37:38 GPT nope it's 1:37:42 gone I'm such a [ __ ] 1:37:45 idiot Kyle has frozen new subscriptions 1:37:49 har D what's happening yeah it it would 1:37:51 be cool if you weren't kidding about 1:37:54 what um that's a wrap 1:37:56 [Laughter] 1:37:58 lunchtime oh 1:38:01 man all right let's see here let me let 1:38:04 me flip over here let me get some just 1:38:06 artwork up and we can just chat for a 1:38:08 little 1:38:11 bit happy birthday chat GPT I didn't 1:38:14 bring my golden button in to say you can 1:38:16 make money with Chachi B Tha but I can 1:38:19 do it live that recorded on the gold 1:38:22 button that just came right from the 1:38:24 source did he say he's going to do the 1:38:27 next live in drag that's definitely what 1:38:30 I said seeing me and drag is not 1:38:32 something you can easily 1:38:36 forget I hope so 1:38:39 Kylie 1:38:42 oh you look so tired but we appreciate y 1:38:45 man I appreciate that what time is it 1:38:48 it's 2 2:00 I think I might take a break 1:38:51 um oh my God I need to be there um I'll 1:38:53 tell you a funny story so back in 1:38:56 agency.com days when I when I had an 1:38:58 agency we used to take Halloween very 1:39:01 seriously and if you came in in costume 1:39:03 you could leave at like lunch or 1:39:05 something like that and so I used to 1:39:08 come in in 1:39:09 costumes so one year I came in as Sling 1:39:12 Blade I came in in like um like gas 1:39:15 station overalls 1:39:17 coveralls and uh I had the Sling Blade 1:39:20 accent 1:39:22 um and I would not drop character all 1:39:25 day so like I was in client meetings 1:39:29 going yeah mm Tat's tasty mhm here's 1:39:33 your website 1:39:35 mm so so at one point one of Senior 1:39:39 Management came to me and said hey Kyle 1:39:41 uh the uh the account people are 1:39:44 complaining they could they they asked 1:39:47 could you please not be in character for 1:39:49 the rest of the day I went mhm not in 1:39:52 character yeah Tat's 1:39:54 tasty so so that pissed everyone off and 1:39:58 then the next year I went as an 80s rock 1:40:00 and roller uh wearing Spandex and that 1:40:04 also got complaints from the 1:40:06 employees could you tell Kyle not to 1:40:09 walk around 1:40:12 anymore oh 1:40:14 [Laughter] 1:40:17 man oh good lordy good lordy lordy lordy 1:40:21 all right I think I'm going to go get 1:40:22 lunchy 1:40:24 lunch 1:40:26 um nap has 1:40:40 provided me with with a good 1:40:43 [Laughter] 1:40:46 image all right oh and it's almost 1:40:49 that's actually almost the time which is 1:40:51 kind of funny all right so we'll 1:40:58 [Music] 1:41:04 do all right and I think I'll I think 1:41:08 I'll play a little guitar on the way out 1:41:11 and I'm going to go take a little break 1:41:14 and oh you know should I stop the 1:41:20 live 1:41:22 [Music] 1:41:28 tune that 1:41:32 [Music] 1:41:45 [Music] 1:41:50 thing 1:41:51 [Music] 1:41:58 what is your website uh story vine.com 1:42:00 for my company story vine.com no 1:42:03 for 1:50:49 yeah 1:51:19 for 1:52:19 for 1:52:49 for 1:53:19 for 1:53:49 for 1:54:19 for 1:54:49 e 1:55:30 all 1:55:31 right I'm 1:55:34 back I'm 1:55:37 back I got 1:55:40 myself let's see I got myself a 1:55:43 refreshing caffeinated beverage they 1:55:45 didn't have the coffee so I went 1:55:48 tea so like I said KY is the best down 1:55:51 in the mud oh I'm sure you've been 1:55:53 trolling my ass the whole time I was 1:55:55 gone whatever you do Kyle don't read the 1:55:57 comments I knew it sons of [ __ ] got 1:56:01 to put my pants back on 1:56:05 now all right double 1:56:10 fisting all right 1:56:12 listen if the host leaves troll away I 1:56:17 mean 1:56:18 right I think that's that's a fair 1:56:22 game okay oh that's good I like a good 1:56:26 tea every now and again I'm a coffee guy 1:56:29 but the tea is tasty spray the air 1:56:32 freshener hey 1:56:34 now I hope you all made images to you 1:56:37 assumed what I did I went and I had a 1:56:39 snack I didn't poop yeah weirdos I 1:56:43 didn't poop I had a snack I sat in the 1:56:46 Sun for a minute I made myself some 1:56:48 beverages I splashed water in my face I 1:56:51 did pee but you 1:56:53 know all right what time is it what time 1:56:56 are it how many people still there's 1:56:58 still 70 people in here okay who's the 1:57:07 weirdo he does look lighter now I 1:57:10 prepared an image of you and drag oh boy 1:57:14 oh boy let's see let's oh this see okay 1:57:19 lesson learned do not walk away from a 1:57:21 live with you Bunch 1:57:28 around oh steo that's fantastic Kyle 1:57:32 will be back after the 1:57:33 [Laughter] 1:57:38 break oh man Joker's still doing some 1:57:42 cool sciency [ __ ] that's very cool oh 1:57:45 that's neat is that for the kids book 1:57:47 love 1:57:48 it 1:57:51 those are 1:57:55 cool so what am I in oh I'm in Show and 1:57:58 Tell Daniel's lunch Daniel's lunch in 1:58:02 her mad libs thing which is super 1:58:05 cool don't get me kicked off here steo 1:58:08 was that steo is that Joker 1:58:11 Joker don't get me kicked off here 1:58:14 man 1:58:17 H llama dip okay we saw all these cool 1:58:20 all right cool groovy and what's going 1:58:23 on Leah's art making is there action 1:58:26 going on in the art nice very nice I 1:58:29 like it I like it a 1:58:32 lot all right let's go back to the chat 1:58:34 GPT I can't believe I lost that GPT so 1:58:37 here's 1:58:39 a is there anything in configured 1:58:41 nothing here's a lesson for 1:58:44 you hit the save 1:58:47 button oh wait no there it is 1:58:50 it just it did save okay so anyway so 1:58:56 all right so if you were here before if 1:58:57 you've been here for a while um I made 1:59:00 this here uh chemical 1:59:05 equation uh balancer balancing I 1:59:08 whatever whatever you do with chemical 1:59:10 equations I made a thingy that does that 1:59:13 here this is actually really good 1:59:15 evidence that chat GPT has democratized 1:59:20 IED sophisticated application 1:59:23 development the fact that I know zero 1:59:25 like 1:59:28 zero about pet uh balancing Chemical 1:59:31 Equations other than I remember doing it 1:59:32 in high 1:59:34 school and I can put together uh 1:59:37 something that can do this for you is is 1:59:39 just crazy it's C it's CA so anyway if 1:59:43 you make one of these things you test it 1:59:44 over here on the right I think the last 1:59:46 thing we did was we said it should make 1:59:47 images so let's say um 1:59:51 please 1:59:52 balance uh 1:59:54 wait 1:59:57 please balance water turning to 2:00:04 hydrogen uh uh uh ah the classic H2O to 2:00:08 H2 transformation it's like water 2:00:11 deciding to it's time to break free and 2:00:13 become something Gast tacular all right 2:00:16 we made this guy be an 2:00:18 idiot uh um a 2:00:21 comedian but it didn't make my image two 2:00:24 steps of water um let's 2:00:28 see it 2:00:33 didn't 2:00:37 automatically make the 2:00:43 image Karen White you got access to 2:00:46 Korea I wonder if I got access to Korea 2:00:48 I haven't checked my mail today at all 2:00:53 Korea 2:00:56 Korea nope I got 2:00:59 nothing I got nothing nothing nothing 2:01:03 unless they just gave me 2:01:09 access if you all are wondering what 2:01:11 Korea is it's it's a a tool that does 2:01:15 Real 2:01:17 Time image imageo image generation where 2:01:21 you can like draw a circle and it will 2:01:23 make a sun and it based on your prompt 2:01:25 or whatever and then you can also use 2:01:27 your webcam as Source 2:01:30 imagery and it's it's pretty magical 2:01:34 so ca. 2:01:38 a try it for free sign up log 2:01:48 in 2:01:51 wasn't he working on a GPT why is he 2:01:53 over here at this site now does he have 2:01:56 some sort of 2:01:57 problem yep he's neuroatypical is what 2:02:02 they call 2:02:03 it all right let's see 2:02:07 um uh let's see water to 2:02:18 hydrogen 2:02:20 yeah I got a code but I I don't have 2:02:22 access to the real time [ __ ] here's a 2:02:24 bit of chemistry humor for you for you I 2:02:27 told a water molecule I was going to 2:02:30 split it into hydrogen and oxygen it 2:02:32 said I'm 2:02:34 shocked get it because electrolysis 2:02:38 involves electricity and it shocked 2:02:41 [Music] 2:02:44 him now I'm now when requested to create 2:02:47 an image using doly it will 2:02:48 automatically generate the image without 2:02:50 asking permission 2:02:53 okay 2:02:57 uh well that's fine anyway so okay let's 2:03:01 say it works perfectly at this point I 2:03:03 don't care okay um we have chem 2:03:06 equilibria engineer so if you want to 2:03:08 share one of these you hit the save 2:03:10 button in the upper right hand 2:03:13 corner and you can save it as only me 2:03:17 you can save it as people with the link 2:03:18 and you can save it as public right now 2:03:21 because there's not a a GPT store I 2:03:24 don't think there's a difference between 2:03:25 only people with the link can see this 2:03:27 and the public cu the only way to share 2:03:29 these right now is to share the link so 2:03:32 but if you Market public when the store 2:03:34 comes out I assume any of your gpts that 2:03:37 have been marked public assuming you're 2:03:39 a 2:03:41 validated GPT maker which you're going 2:03:44 to have to be validated they don't just 2:03:47 want any old Tom Dick and Harry in there 2:03:51 um then you'll be able to put your 2:03:53 things on the GPT store and if your gpts 2:03:57 are 2:03:58 popular you will potentially make money 2:04:01 from them how much I don't have a clue 2:04:04 but there's our 2:04:06 GPT all right what AI program can search 2:04:09 the web and create a list of medical 2:04:11 clinics for me I think probably anything 2:04:14 that's connected to the to the web so 2:04:17 let's let's try we'll do we'll do chat 2:04:19 GPT first since it is chat GPT birthday 2:04:23 day by the way if you're new here 2:04:25 welcome my name is Kyle Shannon this is 2:04:28 the AI learning lab this is the 24-hour 2:04:31 chat GPT 2:04:32 athon uh people made a bunch of poop 2:04:34 jokes when I took a break but you know 2:04:36 what are you going to 2:04:41 do um all right so we are going to 2:04:48 say 2:04:49 [Laughter] 2:04:56 I'd like to make a list 2:05:00 of eye 2:05:03 clinics within the greater Denver metro 2:05:08 area without having to go to South 2:05:11 Denver or 2:05:15 DTC that sounds that's that stands for 2:05:18 Denver Tech Center 2:05:20 and it's it's where it's where a lot of 2:05:21 the corporate headquarters are down in 2:05:23 South Denver but you got to drive down 2:05:25 Route 25 to get there it's a lot of 2:05:27 traffic and it's just it's awful it's 2:05:30 awful it's just awful all right so chat 2:05:34 GPT is 2:05:35 off searching the 2:05:39 internet and make a GPT to fix my big 2:05:43 giant merge 2:05:46 query but I don't know what your big 2:05:48 giant merge query query is you can make 2:05:52 one I showed you just how to make one 2:05:55 were you here earlier when I showed you 2:05:56 how to make one just tell it that's what 2:05:58 you want it to do and it'll do it if 2:06:00 banks give student loans why not loans 2:06:03 to self-study of AI I don't know that's 2:06:05 a good idea why not just give uh 2:06:08 Universal basic income and say go do 2:06:10 whatever the [ __ ] you want to do with AI 2:06:12 and we pay you to 2:06:17 innovate um there's three there's 2:06:23 [Music] 2:06:31 four they all have different 2:06:34 data but I'll show you something we can 2:06:36 do here that's kind of 2:06:38 cool well we'll see if we'll see if code 2:06:41 interpreter's been weird and not working 2:06:42 so it might not 2:06:48 work 2:06:53 um that's fantastic can you organize 2:06:57 these into an Excel 2:07:00 worksheet that I can download and 2:07:04 please clean up the data so the columns 2:07:07 and rows are consistently formatted 2:07:10 period if there are 2:07:13 cells that don't have data Comma just 2:07:16 leave those 2:07:18 blank 2:07:20 and then let's 2:07:23 see so it's doing its code analysis 2:07:26 thing we'll we'll see if this uh or it's 2:07:28 code interpreter thing we'll see if this 2:07:31 uh if this actually completes because it 2:07:34 has not been completing today because 2:07:36 you 2:07:40 know by the way did anyone call Sam mman 2:07:43 and tell him that I was doing this live 2:07:45 I'm like uh hello where's 2:07:47 Sam I know know Elon was upset with me 2:07:51 for pulling my advertising from Twitter 2:07:53 I don't know if you heard what he said 2:07:55 but that was directed at 2:07:56 [Music] 2:07:57 me okay he calls me Bob um it's just 2:08:01 it's like a term of endearment so 2:08:04 anyway elon's a little upset and uh but 2:08:08 hell you 2:08:10 know I'm like where's my grock I'm not 2:08:13 advertising here till I get my grock 2:08:16 back guys my friends and I are going to 2:08:19 are going live at 2 Pacific to celebrate 2:08:22 chat GPT if Kyle takes a break come 2:08:25 fantastic 2:00 Pacific when is that 2:08:28 that's 15 minutes from now yeah go to go 2:08:31 to an's live um so follow her follow us 2:08:35 follow me follow her and then I'll go 2:08:38 down at 3: because I have a meeting at 2:08:39 3:30 that'll give me time to prepare for 2:08:41 it so I'll knock this down right then 2:08:44 and and I'll just send people your way 2:08:46 how's that sound boom this this is how 2:08:49 we do it around here we don't get stingy 2:08:52 one of our values in the salon is 2:08:54 generosity um okay so this gave us it 2:08:56 created an Excel 2:09:01 worksheet eye clinics in the Denver 2:09:03 metro 2:09:05 area and let's just go 2:09:13 look there's your there's your Excel 2:09:17 file can I make that bigger yeah there 2:09:20 you 2:09:20 go d d can't do that but whatever open 2:09:24 with numbers let's go look at it in a in 2:09:27 an actual 2:09:32 spreadsheet yeah that looks like crap 2:09:35 I'm going to go so if you get a a 2:09:38 spreadsheet that looks like crap you can 2:09:39 go 2:09:42 hey hey you know the formatting in that 2:09:44 looks like poop can you format it to 2:09:47 make it easier to read you know with 2:09:50 bolds and header rows 2:09:57 and text wrapping and 2:10:02 such wait you know wait with bals 2:10:09 bolds and header Rose not Heather rows 2:10:13 good 2:10:17 Lord the the Apple text to or speech to 2:10:20 text is not super 2:10:22 great Heather Rose do do you know he 2:10:26 Heather Rose oh she's so sweet I love 2:10:29 Heather Rose she's such a sweet 2:10:34 one jrc no like connecting a custom 2:10:37 third party apis open AI did zapier demo 2:10:40 at Dev day so what's elon's problem I 2:10:44 don't know he's pissed off that um a 2:10:46 bunch of advertisers stopped advertising 2:10:48 in on Twitter because he 2:10:51 said anti-semitic things and then said I 2:10:54 support them more than I I don't know he 2:10:55 just lost his [ __ ] mind he was he he 2:10:58 was he's like as as uh apoplectic as 2:11:02 I've ever seen him on stage with with uh 2:11:07 with the New York Times uh yelling at 2:11:10 Bob Iger it was 2:11:12 weird here's the formatted version of 2:11:15 this is it formatted did it make it 2:11:17 pretty oh it did look 2:11:29 that is pretty 2:11:30 cool so if you don't see what just 2:11:33 happened 2:11:34 there somebody asked me could could one 2:11:37 of these things 2:11:39 find clinics near me the answer is yes 2:11:43 now is this information all correct I 2:11:46 don't know like I don't know where it 2:11:47 got this I wasn't really paying 2:11:48 attention 2:11:49 but it got all this information and then 2:11:50 I said hey put that in a spreadsheet and 2:11:52 then it gave me this spreadsheet that 2:11:54 looks like 2:11:57 [ __ ] yeah I'm like yeah I can't read 2:12:00 that and I don't feel like going in 2:12:01 there and fixing that so I just went 2:12:03 into chat GPT and said hey can you make 2:12:06 that suck less and it 2:12:10 did 2:12:12 crazy 2:12:14 crazy that's just generated out of 2:12:17 nothing generated generative AI 2:12:21 GPT generative pre-trained 2:12:24 Transformer are we having fun with chat 2:12:27 J P we're trying we're trying Godfrey 2:12:30 Lake I like the name Godfrey It's good 2:12:33 name solid 2:12:35 name all right I do know Heather Rose 2:12:38 that's really funny 2:12:46 Vicki um sound sounds like an Angry Kid 2:12:49 not getting what he wants that's my 2:12:51 existence Elon droing dropping F bombs 2:12:54 and acting like a 2:12:55 child he let anti-semetic comments live 2:12:58 on X and Publishers pulled ads and then 2:13:00 he got pissed yeah that was it how can 2:13:03 we create graphics and 2:13:06 3D in chat GPT well you can well do you 2:13:10 mean Graphics like um like illustrator 2:13:12 Graphics vector graphics you can't and 2:13:15 3D objects you can't um 2:13:18 um there are 2D to 2:13:23 3D models coming and I'm sure that chat 2:13:26 that open AI is working on some of them 2:13:28 as well um they're not really out yet um 2:13:31 so cool to see you during the day thank 2:13:33 you techie Becky uh I'm exhausted so so 2:13:37 oh wait here let me Flip Flip this this 2:13:39 way and let me get a picture going 2:13:42 here we'll do let's 2:13:47 see 2:13:54 I need more I need more pictures I need 2:13:56 P pictures people I'm going to go over 2:13:58 to the show and 2:14:06 tell viewer count is the 2:14:12 same I think I think we'll do this 2:14:17 one 2:14:21 [Laughter] 2:14:24 how does chat GPT help project managers 2:14:27 GPT getting pretty 2:14:29 tired 2:14:31 um so GPT can help project managers in 2:14:36 lots of ways um you could upload a 2:14:39 project plan in an Excel file and tell 2:14:41 it to go clean up the data if there's 2:14:43 messed up data in it um you could tell 2:14:46 it to just 2:14:49 um ask you a series of questions to put 2:14:52 together a project plan and it'll build 2:14:53 it for you you could download that as a 2:14:56 Word document or as an Excel 2:14:58 file 2:15:01 um just I so what I would say to you is 2:15:04 just go start playing with it go start 2:15:08 playing with it can you show how you use 2:15:11 a flyer you like and change the info 2:15:14 into your company yeah 2:15:16 sure um 2:15:20 okay so this again involves um oh no it 2:15:25 doesn't never 2:15:28 mind okay so one of the things that chat 2:15:31 GPT has going for it is 2:15:37 um what's called gptv GPT vision and GPT 2:15:42 Vision means it can see 2:15:44 images 2:15:46 so if I go here to the internets and I 2:15:50 go um PDF 2:15:56 flyer 2:15:59 for 2:16:00 um video production 2:16:05 house all right we're going to go to 2:16:10 images 2:16:14 and let's see what we got here 2:16:32 [Music] 2:16:36 all right I guess we'll 2:16:38 do I guess we'll do this 2:16:41 guy all right so there's a there's a 2:16:43 video production house right you're like 2:16:45 okay that's that that's actually 2:16:47 something great I I want to be able to 2:16:50 do that like we're not a video 2:16:51 production house for a video production 2:16:53 technology but I'm just going to 2:16:55 screenshot 2:16:57 this 2:17:01 and hop on over to chat 2:17:05 JP chat 2:17:07 [Music] 2:17:14 J 2:17:16 flyer fly Fly pants on 2:17:21 file uh what time is it 2:52 we got 2:17:25 minutes to do this people 2:17:28 minutes 2:17:30 okay so we're here at chat GPT we're in 2:17:32 a new chat happy birthday Chad GPT why 2:17:36 has Sam not joined the live why has Sam 2:17:38 not joined the live is he busy oh he's 2:17:42 too busy being fired and rehired by his 2:17:44 own 2:17:45 company fine whatever 2:17:48 all 2:17:54 right where is my 2:18:00 image oh did I save it to desktop what 2:18:03 did I do what have I done okay there's 2:18:05 our flyer all right so we're going to 2:18:07 upload that image that's just a 2:18:09 screenshot and we're going to upload 2:18:11 that to the chat 2:18:13 jie can we do a modeling analysis by 2:18:16 uploading raw data to chat GPT yeah we 2:18:19 can do that okay so now I'm just going 2:18:21 to 2:18:21 say um 2:18:26 please give me the text of this flyer 2:18:31 formatted in 2:18:34 markdown so I can read it 2:18:39 easier also 2:18:42 follow that with a detailed description 2:18:50 of the 2:18:52 flyer and so it's now going to go read 2:18:55 all that so if you've ever got something 2:18:56 you're like oh God I got to type this in 2:18:58 you don't have to type it 2:18:59 in now you can just put it up in chat 2:19:02 gbt and go type it in for 2:19:04 me and it will so let's see what it 2:19:07 does we're video production 2:19:10 company and then it says about us lauram 2:19:13 ipsum oh because there's lauram ipsum 2:19:15 there so this was just a design great 2:19:17 find fan 2:19:20 Fantastic all right so at the top and 2:19:23 then it describes what everything is 2:19:25 here and then I can say 2:19:28 um I uh let's 2:19:32 see I don't want everything in all caps 2:19:35 can 2:19:36 you put things in title 2:19:41 case sentence 2:19:43 case or camel case as 2:19:46 appropriate 2:19:48 and then it's going to rewrite all that 2:19:54 crap we have to settle for Sam control 2:19:57 controlman instead get it alt alt 2:20:00 control Ah that's clever it's clever 2:20:03 look it retyped all that so if it had 2:20:05 done that and then you said oh I got to 2:20:07 go change all those and put them in word 2:20:09 no you can just tell it to do that 2:20:11 [ __ ] um great then I'll say 2:20:16 uh 2:20:20 great my company's called storyvine and 2:20:22 we do automated video production period 2:20:26 we're not a video production house 2:20:29 period you create a template for a story 2:20:32 comma people answer questions in an app 2:20:35 comma and you have a fully Ed edited 2:20:37 video 5 minutes later period please 2:20:40 rewrite the flyer so that it's 2:20:43 appropriate for Story 2:20:44 vine replace any laurum ipsum copy with 2:20:49 real copy that will make people want to 2:20:53 hire Story vine and give me millions of 2:21:08 dollars how can we remove plagiarism of 2:21:11 chat GPT for research work I don't actually what I'm going to do is 2:22:08 I'm going to 2:22:10 say I like that you found the storyvine 2:22:12 website period go look at the website 2:22:16 and update your flyer so that it matches 2:22:18 some of the language from our 2:22:21 website period I'd like the tone of this 2:22:24 flyer to 2:22:27 match so one of the terms we use is 2:22:30 automagic 2:22:32 video and so we'll see if it automagic 2:22:35 videos 2:22:39 [Music] 2:22:45 this still I can get get anything from 2:22:48 your custom gpts you can't make this 2:22:50 shut up rights uh I don't know what that 2:22:53 means you did it yay 2:23:38 too fun I guess I'm hooked I know it's 2:23:40 crazy right so watch 2:23:43 this okay great can you now take the 2:23:46 description of of the images on the 2:23:49 flyer and create two different images I 2:23:52 can use on the story Vine flyer 2:23:57 period in addition create a third image 2:24:01 where someone is 2:24:03 filming with their iPhone held in 2:24:06 landscape 2:24:08 orientation I don't know if it'll do 2:24:10 that but why not 2:24:13 try o I need 2:24:15 you all right 2:24:18 awesome I don't know what that 2:24:23 means crazy cool Kyle yeah isn't that 2:24:26 amazing chat GPT can do so many 2:24:28 different things from micro to macro 2:24:31 purposes so this is this is one of the 2:24:33 reasons that I I keep telling people 2:24:36 just get curious just go play just go 2:24:38 play just go play you will stumble into 2:24:42 figuring out ways to do things just 2:24:44 because you're playing and then you'll 2:24:46 realize oh I could use that for 2:24:49 work I usually have many issues with 2:24:52 image creation I know it's it's 2:24:55 uh they they're a little over overloaded 2:24:59 is from what I can tell Microsoft better 2:25:02 spin up them new GPU Farms per 2:25:05 quick um try 2:25:10 again you little 2:25:14 thing jeez earthquake 2:25:18 all right yeah it answers questions huh 2:25:21 what no it does more than answer 2:25:23 questions I inan Japan I use the free 2:25:27 version yeah it's breaking it's breaking 2:25:30 anyway 2:25:33 um yeah let me run I got a I've got a 2:25:35 3:30 meeting so let me run and do that 2:25:37 I've got a 3:30 meeting and then I will 2:25:40 I think what I'm going to do is I'll put 2:25:42 a video up on the Ticky talk that says 2:25:46 with the count down timer for when I'm 2:25:48 coming back live again I think I'll come 2:25:49 back around 2:25:50 7 um so I'll give you all a break I know 2:25:54 you you'd really like to hang out with 2:25:55 me here for another four hours but I'm 2:25:57 going to give you an hour back or four 2:25:59 hours 2:26:00 back and then we'll we'll start at 7 2:26:03 tonight we'll probably I'll probably go 2:26:04 till midnight tonight and then I will 2:26:06 probably just absolutely collapse uh for 2:26:09 example the text doesn't fit with all my 2:26:12 text it creates words that don't exist 2:26:15 yeah you just got to keep trying uh 2:26:16 manura just just keep telling it try 2:26:19 again try again try again I did um this 2:26:30 image this 2:26:32 image I must have made 30 different 2:26:35 attempts at that before I got even close 2:26:39 to that I mean until I got that which is 2:26:42 not still right the H is [ __ ] up it's 2:26:45 like a backwards four so c48 2:26:51 GPT so yeah so you just got to keep 2:26:53 trying and then you know if you get 2:26:55 something like that then you just put a 2:26:56 graphic over that so it it looks like it 2:26:58 is 2:26:59 fine 2:27:01 um and here's the thing this stuff is 2:27:04 going to get better so we will look back 2:27:06 on these times fondly in the in the 2:27:10 future 2:27:12 um okay let me do a couple other things 2:27:15 here um 2:27:18
