5:19 shifting from an urgency of
5:21 breadth to an urgency of depth and the
5:25 basic idea is that when this Channel
5:27 first started the urgency was like oh
5:29 there's these AI tools we got to we got
5:30 to figure them all out we got to go play
5:32 with them all and we got to you know get
5:33 our heads around all of them and then
5:35 what became really clear over the past
5:37 six months or so is there's no [ __ ]
5:40 possible way you can keep up with
5:42 anything
5:43 anymore and I was you know I kind of
5:46 took pride in I I could keep a lot of
5:50 that stuff in my head and it just
5:52 completely overwhelmed
5:53 me and so I was in a bit of a funk for a
5:56 while trying to figure out what do I
5:58 what do I do what do we do what do we do
5:59 what do we do what do we do what do I do
6:01 what do I talk about what do people want
6:02 to
6:03 know and a lot of the people that were
6:05 in here were suffering from a similar
6:07 kind of Malay and lack of urgency and I
6:10 I think it was just overwhelmed we put
6:13 in all this time and the and the day
6:15 lose just keeps coming and it's
6:18 accelerating and so that's the breadth
6:21 right that's the that's the that urgency
6:23 to try to keep up with it all and the
6:26 new urgency is an urgency of
6:29 depth and that's not necessarily just
6:31 pick one tool but here's kind of where
6:33 where where this is evolving for me is
6:37 pick a project pick a pick a
6:40 something that may involve one or two or
6:43 three or four tools and just go do that
6:46 go deep enough you know you don't have
6:48 to learn all of the image generation
6:50 tools you don't have to learn all of the
6:52 video tools just learn one that's good
6:53 enough right all these tools right now
6:56 are jankier than [ __ ] so we might as
6:58 well just embrace the Jank

7:03 so you can learn but go deep on

8:47 I've never had anything go viral before

8:50 viral I ended up on on Tik Tok my my
8:53 video where I talked about it ended up
8:55 at about 375,000 which you know from
8:58 going viral

9:03 for me that's like four times more than
9:05 I've ever had on any any other video so
9:07 that was kind of
9:09 cool
9:12 um and then I and then what was cool was
9:15 so I put this song out and then the the
9:18 next night on the live Kelly BOS showed
9:21 up and we had talked about doing a video
9:23 for it and she just showed up the next
9:25 night with the video done and so we put
9:27 that out and so so I had like a three or
9:29 4 day period where it was super exciting
9:32 and and then on the weekend um I was
9:35 just sitting there watching a college
9:37 football game and and someone some tick
9:41 tocker or someone I don't know someone
9:43 told me about lovable dodev
9:46 Lov abl dodev lovable
9:51 dodev and it's a text to application
9:54 site like repet or
9:58 um you know those coding
10:02 sites but they said this one actually
10:05 works I'm like well let me go try it and
10:07 two hours later I had whipped up a here
10:10 I'll show it to you I had whipped

10:49 programmed this from nothing I didn't
10:52 start with a
10:55 template I have no idea what it's coded

11:08 news and I didn't like here's the
11:10 amazing thing about where we are with AI
11:13 Technologies today because I think 2025
11:17 is going to get even more

11:25 idea I think that we're coming into a
11:29 phase where you're you're going to have
11:30 to have a good idea but right now how
11:32 much was this so well this this cost me

11:44 than like three prompts you have to pay
11:45 20 bucks a month so I coded on this
11:48 thing probably coded I asked this thing
11:51 to code for me for about two and a half
11:54 hours arguably most of the prompts that
11:57 I gave this thing were no that's not
12:00 right try to try again no that's not
12:02 right try again that thing's still
12:04 broken no make the corners more round
12:07 make the corners less round like it was
12:09 all most of I would
12:12 say 60 no
12:16 70 65 70% of what I prompted to make
12:21 this was like little design
12:24 refinements but like I mean it's pretty
12:26 sophisticated it's got this scroll see
12:28 what goes up up beneath the the
12:30 interface here it's got these rollover
12:33 states where when you roll over them
12:34 they grow it's got these little labels
12:36 it's got a search engine in it it's got
12:38 a category filter with
12:41 totals um it's got infinite scroll so
12:43 when you get to the bottom it just keeps
12:44 scrolling keeps loading the page like
12:47 this is this is all sophisticated [ __ ]
12:49 now if you're a coder you're like yeah

12:55 minutes

17:08 then you can create a station like a
17:10 radio station of images and it just
17:12 vomits out images it's amazing so

17:22 button is there's lots of ways to make
17:24 money with chat GPT none of them have
17:27 anything to do with chat GPT really how
17:29 you make money with chat GPT is you
17:31 figure out a problem that needs solving

17:36 that well enough people pay you for

18:13 so what's what struck me last week is
18:17 on
18:19 Wednesday making the song that I made
18:22 wasn't possible it was made possible
18:24 because a new version of Tik Tock came
18:26 out wait Tik Tock pin Kyle explain
18:30 scraping websites for me is that what
18:32 your app does here okay so web scraping
18:36 web scraping is kind of cool
18:38 actually so what web scraping is is you
18:41 have a bot that goes out to a website
18:44 like it literally logs into the website
18:47 and then it's
18:48 got an algorithm basically says of all
18:53 the code in the in the backend code of
18:55 this website um what is just trashy
18:59 buttons and navigation and stuff and
19:01 what's content and so it it pulls the
19:03 content out and it scrapes the content
19:06 um so so you're literally pulling it um
19:10 with this site this this was actually
19:11 kind of cool so when I was when I was in
19:13 lovable um and I first started doing
19:16 this it said you're going to need to put
19:18 in an API key into this AP News service
19:22 and I said does that API key cost me
19:24 money and it said oh yes you know you
19:28 just go to this site and pay the money
19:29 and I said I don't want to pay the money
19:31 can I get an R can can we do this with
19:34 open available RSS feeds um and it said
19:38 sure you can do that so if you don't
19:39 know what an RSS feed is it's called
19:41 real simple syndication it's a it's a
19:43 protocol that that was created by Dave
19:45 Wier back in the I think the late 90s 98
19:49 or something like that and it was made
19:53 in a in an idealistic time in the
19:55 internet when when everyone wanted to be
19:58 free and everyone wanted their
19:59 information to be free and there weren't
20:01 [ __ ] pay walls everywhere and an RSS
20:03 feed was basically like this single
20:06 protocol that all the websites could use
20:08 that if you were doing content like
20:10 blogs or news sites or whatever you'd
20:12 put out an RSS feed and anyone could
20:14 subscribe to that and so some sites
20:17 still do it right and so if you if you
20:20 go to this site and you uh next to AI
20:24 newsomatic there's a little information
20:26 this was one of the things I had it do
20:29 is I had it give me this this tool tip
20:32 popup that if you roll over this eye
20:35 here are the news sources that this
20:36 thing's pulling from and and even every
20:39 one of the these news sources links to
20:42 the site so here's TechCrunch AI so
20:45 that'll just drop you right into the AI
20:46 section of tech tech crunch which is
20:49 pretty
20:50 slick um and then even in the in the
20:52 little categories here here's the number
20:54 of Articles it found this is doing a
20:56 7-Day you know give me news in the past
20:58 seven days you know across these 15
21:01 sites and then here where it says
21:03 sources each one of those has a list of
21:07 um what the sources were they don't link
21:09 because I ran out of credits before I
21:12 could fix that but anyway um but every
21:15 one of these buttons will
21:18 filter all the news stories beneath the
21:21 news stories you can click on the the
21:23 panel itself and it'll give you the
21:25 summary of the story and it'll you can
21:28 only have one of those open at a time so
21:29 you can just sort of zip around looking
21:30 at summaries really quick um if you
21:33 click on the title that takes you to
21:35 that actual
21:37 article and it [ __ ] works like like
21:41 the fact that it works like it's three
21:43 days later and it actually still all
21:45 works is I find it staggering so we'll
21:48 go we'll go all categories here so

21:58 time like it did that filtering

24:05 there was an update overnight it's
24:07 better at creative writing so one of the
24:10 very first prompts that I put into chat
24:12 GPT when I first started in in December
24:16 of
24:18 2022 chat gbt was kind of answering all
24:21 of my questions like I felt like holy
24:22 crap am I am I like witnessing like
24:25 we've we've surpassed the Turing test
24:27 and the answer is yes by the way I think
24:31 um
24:33 and so one of the first prompts I put in
24:36 was um write an Eminem rap about quantum
24:40 mechanics because what popped in my head
24:42 was how will it do if you take two very
24:44 disperate Concepts can it actually weave
24:46 them together and it did surprisingly
24:48 well and chat jpt in in my opinion was
24:52 the best at this really the whole time
24:56 but no large language model including
24:58 chat GPT would ever really get the rap
25:02 lyrics like Eminem like no matter how
25:04 much I prompted it and tried to get it
25:06 to make it like Eminem it wouldn't do
25:08 his internal rhyme structures and the
25:11 word play that he does and the double on
25:13 chandras and the mixing of Concepts and
25:15 culture and all sorts of stuff like that
25:18 it just wouldn't do it and then
25:19 Wednesday or Thursday I tried it and it
25:22 worked it just [ __ ] worked it was
25:24 this creative writing update did it and
25:26 it was like all of a sudden it worked
25:28 and then I threw him over into sunno
25:30 which a new version of that came out and
25:31 then Kelly did this video Kelly Bosch
25:34 did this video If You Don't Know Her
25:35 work she's amazing um she did this video
25:39 in one day well like half a day um and
25:42 showed up on a live here one night and
25:44 just dropped it um so she did the images
25:47 in dolly3 in chat GPT and then animated

30:45 salad it doesn't mean anything this is

30:50 I've ever experienced so I had chat GPT
30:53 analyze it and it's [ __ ] insane so
30:55 anyway so this post is a little
30:57 scavenger hunt
30:59 so just go and it's you know find all 18
31:02 metaphors and identify the comparisons
31:04 being made identify the six double on
31:06 tandas and discuss their dual meanings
31:09 list the 25 unique scientific terms and
31:11 Define each one and I created a a
31:13 teachers guide for this right because
31:16 one of the one of the other comments I
31:18 was getting was holy [ __ ] this could be
31:19 a great way to innovate education like
31:23 if you could get you know kids excited

42:34 last night is we could just have some
42:36 fun and make some cool content for Tik
42:38 Tok right and we could have chat GPT
42:41 write the scripts and we could use 11
42:43 labs to do the voice synthesis and you
42:46 know hen to do the animation and mid
42:49 journey to do the images and so there's
42:51 all sorts of stuff to explore so I
42:52 figured we could explore that all week
42:54 so with that let me let me go grab

44:37 writes better than you two isn't that
44:38 catastrophic for the copywriter so I
44:41 think I think every advancement in this
44:43 in in this technology is going to drive
44:46 some new disruption and I think I think
44:49 the era that we're about to enter and I
44:51 think 2025 is probably going to be the
44:54 first year where we start to see real
44:56 disruption
44:58 that that the tools up to this point
45:00 from you know when chat GPT launched in
45:02 November
45:04 30th you know Friday will be the 2-year
45:07 anniversary of chat
45:09 GPT until now everything's been so janky
45:14 and kind

45:18 acceptable right but it hasn't been
45:20 truly Earth shattering um 2025 I think
45:24 we start to see some more Earth
45:25 shattering kind of Technologies and more

47:39 years um the hardest thing in healthc
47:42 care is that hippo regulations and all
47:45 that sort of stuff all a lot of these
47:47 new sexy companies their data is not
47:51 hippoc compliant it's it's a it's young
47:54 Cowboys and cowg girls out there you
47:57 know just spinning up crazy ass
47:59 Technologies without worrying about
48:01 things like
48:03 privacy so Healthcare is going to move
48:06 slower um there was a New York Times
48:09 article last week that talked about they
48:11 did a study of 50
48:14 doctors and chat
48:17 GPT I guess they gave them all cases I
48:19 guess it was a controlled
48:22 study 50 doctors they give them patient
48:26 cases chat jpt got the diagnosis right
48:29 90% of the
48:33 time 90% of the time the Doctors Without
48:37 chat GPT got it right 72% of the time
48:40 and with chat GPT got it right 76% of
48:43 the time and you're like well wait a
48:45 minute the doctor plus GPT should be
48:47 better than just GPT alone no because
48:50 what they found is that if chat GPT
48:54 contradicted what their initial
48:56 diagnosis was was they questioned
