2. 0:18here's a technology that we should all learn because it's going to change things to a geopolitical issue. Now, I think it always was a
3. 0:28geopolitical issue. But I think I think Anthropic however they whether they wanted it or not, you know, there's there's also
4. 0:38speculation about this is exactly what Dario wanted. This isn't what Dario wanted. Um but this is clearly now like we're now
5. 0:48in the territory where these these powerful AI models are you know, are a geopolitical issue. Um And so what's that mean for us? Um
6. 1:04To a great degree, I don't think it matters for most people right now. And he was on his third one or his fourth one and Fable went away
7. 1:15and he just kept working. And he and he said, you know, if you've got the right prompts and if you're using these
8. 1:21agentic tools, you don't need something the level of Fable. Um Fable's very expensive. Um I think people who were just messing
9. 1:31around with AI when when Fable went away, they're like, oh, well, you know, we can't do anything good now.
10. 1:38That's not the case. The current AI models are fine. They can code well. If you pair them with something like
11. 1:43OpenAI's Codex or you pair them with something like um Claude code, Claude co-work. Um you know, they're good. Same with Gemini
12. 1:54with anti-gravity, things like that. I just look at the noise and I'm like, where where is the noise centering?
13. 2:01And right now it's just noise. Right now it's just noise. Um we will eventually find out what happened here.
14. 2:07Um I would not be at all surprised if Dario gets ousted. Um here's the reason why. Okay, SpaceX just went
15. 2:17public. The majority of their revenue came from XAI. Not from their models, but from renting out their compute centers. So they went
16. 2:29public. So Anthropic and OpenAI both have filed S1s. The government shutting down Anthropic's biggest model
17. 2:38makes it very, very dangerous from an IPO perspective for both of them. Right? Like the risk the risk of
18. 2:48like them not being able to monetize what they've created goes up dramatically if the government can just go, "Fuck it, we'll take it.
19. 2:56We'll either shut it down or we'll take it from here." Um so I think that's probably the reason we haven't heard from Sam Altman and and
20. 3:05probably frankly why we haven't heard from Musk. Like they just went public. So he's not going to talk about AI. He's
21. 3:11going to talk about rockets. We're going to make more rockets. Rockets big. Rockets good. Rockets go up. Rockets
22. 3:17land. We catch them on sticks. Right? He He doesn't want to flush his currency that he just made down the toilet. Um
23. 3:31So you know, the OpenAI team can't be very happy about this. And frankly, no one should be very happy about this. You
24. 3:37know, just about the time AI's getting good you know, this happened. Um Yeah. So I don't know. There's a couple
25. 3:47of things that this opens the door for. This opens the the for um Chinese open source models that are really powerful.
26. 3:57So, expect to see those more aggressively dumped um as as they as they, you know, start building them. Um cuz they want to sow chaos and the
27. 4:09government isn't going to be able to control this for for super long. They might make it illegal, but remember back
28. 4:16in the late '80s, early '90s, they made they made cryptography illegal? And then you can put three lines of
29. 4:22pearl on a t-shirt and, you know, export it. Like they're just playing [ __ ] games. And I don't think we're
30. 4:28going to see I don't think we're going to hear a peep from any of Google, OpenAI, xAI, if Meta ends up doing something, I don't
31. 4:40think we'll hear anything from them. You might hear something from Apple cuz they're sort of outside of the fray of this. Um
32. 4:48but I think until this blows over we sort of figure out what's going on here. Like what were the motives? Um we'll see.
